Hey guys, welcome back to another day in this self-love journey. My name is Vivek George. If you don't know me, welcome to my channel. And today's self-love practice is about bringing in and attracting deep, powerful love, true, honest love. How can we expect to bring in that type of relationship, that type of partner, if we don't really love ourselves first? If we don't love ourselves, how can we expect anyone else to really deeply love us. And by practicing self-love today and practicing it regularly, daily ideally, slowly but surely we can develop real sincere self-belief, self-worth in us. And in time, the universe will notice that, that self-belief growing inside of us and help us attract that partner that we have been seeking. I know this through my own journey. I for so long didn't have enough, or really any, self-belief or self-worth. I slowly started gaining some about 6 years ago. It sort of continued to grow, and then last year I really started focusing very intensely on practicing self-love. And I've had some really nice relationships, but I'm realizing— and that's what generated this practice for the last couple weeks— has been about is that there was still a lot of work that I needed to do. And I'm so happy and grateful that I can share it with all of you, this journey with all of you, and practice with you daily. But yes, if we want to bring in these type of healthy, mature relationships, not relationships that, that that person really needs us and is using us to fill a void in themselves, but is also steady and strong and wants to grow and develop in a way like we do, it also begins with us. That work starts with us. So today's practice is, is writing a love letter to ourselves as if we would— we're with that partner of our dreams already. And they were writing this beautiful love letter to us. What would you want them to say? What would you want them to notice and appreciate about you that people often miss but that person saw? We're gonna take 3 minutes to do this love letter, and I know for some of you this type of thing may feel awkward, that you don't deserve it, that you feel Yeah, you just perhaps don't think that you are worthy of such a no. So just do the best you can. Self-love, the practice of self-love, isn't about perfection. It's about just showing up. It's like, you know, learning a language or learning an instrument or going to the gym. It's about showing up day in and day out to keep getting stronger, to keep getting better. And hopefully, not hopefully, in time, over weeks and months and years, you will see if you keep showing up and practicing like you would a language or an instrument, you're pretty good at it, that you actually deeply love yourself. And so today is just another small step in that journey, writing that love letter. So do the best that you can. It's only 3 minutes. It's not a lot of time. And yeah, good luck. So before we do that, we usually do a quick check-in, how we're feeling, and then we'll do a check-out afterwards. Give you a moment to sort of sit with yourself and see how you're feeling. Me, I'm feeling, I'm feeling so good today. Yesterday, I think the day before, I said I was not feeling so good. Today I'm feeling excited about this practice, to be honest with you. Just, yeah, to be able to sit and write a letter to myself and imagine that, that part of actually being the one writing this letter to myself. So I'm excited. I'm grateful to be doing it, this practice with you. It's a beautiful Saturday here. So yeah, I'm happy. Let me know in the comments how your check-in is. Okay, let's get started. I'm going to keep a timer on this side for 3 minutes. I'll keep you notified as we go along. Enjoy! We got a minute 45 left, guys. Hope it's going well. 30 seconds. 10 seconds. Wrap up, guys. Okay, that's it. I'm going to finish up my sentence. Cool. Awesome. How'd it go, guys? Okay, I'll share a little bit of mine. The judgment that it actually felt really nice to write this. I could actually feel the person writing it. I could just feel it and see it. It was quite powerful. So yeah, it started with a dear Vivek, you know, dear Vivek, thank you for being in my life. I'm incredibly grateful. I can't believe I found a man like you, blah blah blah blah blah. I'll leave it all to bore you guys with my little love letter. It's between me and my lover. But if you care to share yours, please feel free to do so in the comments. Love to read them. Okay, we'll do a quick check out and we'll wrap up today's session. So how am I feeling now? How are all of you feeling? I'm feeling— I'm feeling so good, to be honest. This was powerful. This was really powerful. I've done a letter like this in the past, but not recently. And this was, I don't know, just doing with all of you, kind of very live, very raw. I think it elevated it to another level. It was like totally unscripted what I wrote. I just kind of wrote what I felt, and it felt very powerful. So I'm feeling so good. I hope you guys are as well. Thank you for joining me for another day in this self-love practice. Enjoy your Saturday, and most importantly, don't forget to love yourself. Take care.
