Hey guys, it's Vivek again. Thanks for coming back for day 2 of this self-love journey, and I'm so excited to do this again. First and foremost, for myself, to really make sure to make some time to, to realize my worth and to remember that I'm important, even though sometimes, or very often for me at least, my head can say something different. And I'm really excited to do this with all of you because I think if we work together, we come together, we practice together, the impact will be more impactful for me and for all of you. And so it's nice to share this. And, you know, like I said yesterday, please, I encourage you to be active, to leave a comment about what you did in the self-love practice today and maybe reply to others if you have the time, or share this with a friend and family member that you know could use a little bit of more self-love and self-worth and self-belief in their own life. So that's an invitation to participate, and, and your participation also helps me. So definitely appreciating all that. Leave comments or likes or whatever. So today's self-love practice is a visualization. I'll detail it a little bit in a few seconds. But before we dive in, I just wanted to start off by sharing a quote that I read that I think is very much in connection with a self-love journey. It's by Oscar Wilde, and he said, "To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance." I think that's so true for what we're doing, this self-love journey, but I think it's definitely part of our lives, to make sure that— to really love ourselves every inch of the way and to appreciate who we are and the good and the bad about us, the things that we like and we don't love as much, and to realize that we are a work in progress. And as we continue to grow and change and different things come into our lives, to continue to appreciate ourselves. We're always going to be there as long as we're alive. So making sure to learn to love ourselves today and to keep practicing it will serve us in the long term, I think. So I think that's something to remember and something I'm sort of holding on to. It's a little bit like a mantra or mindset as we do this practice. And then before we do the practice, quick little check-in to see how you're feeling, and we'll do a check-out at the end of this after we do the practice. So the check-in, I would say right now I'm feeling okay. Not amazing. As I mentioned, what's got me to do this practice is that I was in a relationship and it kind of ended in a not so pleasant way. And to be honest, that situation is still lingering in lots of different ways and it's really bringing me down a little bit and it's not allowing me to feel like I can be my full self. That's my own mental creation. I need to work through it and let that go and realize it like has nothing— I, I can detach from it. It exists, it, you know, happened, but I could be separate of that. And so, but right now I will say that it is on my mind and I haven't been able to completely shed it. Um, but overall though, I'm feeling good. I baked a cake this morning, a chocolate cake. I'm going for a little picnic with a friend, so excited to eat that. So I'm feeling good. I'm excited about doing these videos, so for sure. Okay, maybe this— I'll give a moment for all of you to check in with yourself, how you're feeling. Okay, hopefully that gave you a little time. And in terms of the practice today, so what we're going to do is we're going to do a little visualization. We're going to visualize ourselves succeeding or being happy, being joyful, or whatever success looks like for you. And I think this is important and powerful because sometimes our minds, or what we visualize so often, can be so negative, can be so the worst-case scenario. We can think about bad situations in the past that we could have done differently, or we would have liked to have done differently. So taking a few moments to visualize something we're excited about, that we want to happen, or we believe it can happen and we want to see it It's a gift. It's a true gift to ourselves in this busy, busy world. So let's take a moment, all of us, to just visualize seeing ourselves in a place that we're really excited about, that feels successful, that feels joyful, whatever that means for you. We're gonna probably do it for about 30 seconds or so, and then we'll get back into closing up today's vlog. Gonna wrap up in a few seconds. Okay, we're gonna wrap up. If you were closing your eyes, maybe you want to open them. So I can share what I was visualizing. And for you out there, if you want to share what you were visualizing, please do so in the comments. So for me, I was visualizing success for me is to grow this YouTube channel. And I was seeing myself with a silver YouTube play button and, you know, and seeing lots of comments in the videos that I was making and people being grateful and happy that they found my channel. And they were participating. And then I was even— I saw myself in a home with a family, friends around, with many of you there as guests at an event that I was organizing, and all of you being excited and happy to be there and appreciating how I had organized the event. So I was seeing a lot of different images. And so yeah, I was feeling really good. I'm feeling really good now. And am I checking? I'm feeling great, actually. I feel like that whole mood shift actually worked. So that's awesome. How about you? How are you feeling? We'll keep moment to just take a few seconds to reflect on how you're feeling. Awesome. Well, hopefully this video has been great. You know, like I said, please, please participate. Please like the video if it was helpful. Please share it with a friend or family member that maybe could use this little bit of work on a daily basis. I'll be back tomorrow. With another video. But till then, take care, have a wonderful day, and don't forget to love yourself.
