Hey guys, welcome back to another day of this daily self-love journey. My name is Vivek George, if you don't know me, and for the last week or so I've started this self-love journey again. I've been practicing for a while but kind of took my foot off the gas a little bit, I would say, and decided to come back to a this practice more intentionally and more thoughtfully. And I thought to do it with all of you because when we work together, when we're loving each other and supporting each other, we can really amplify the impact of our self-love practice. And so I'm so excited to do this with all of you. It's been really fun already, and I'm excited to continue to do this in the coming weeks and months. And so what we usually do is we do a new self love practice every single day. And if this is the first time you come in, I'll share a little bit. We do a new self-love practice every day. We do a little check-in, check-out, how we're feeling. And then before all that starts, we actually reflect on an idea or a quote that I'm bringing to the daily videos. So today I have two quotes related to kind of just making time for ourselves. And that's kind of what the self-love practice is about. It's about making time for ourselves and how important it is to do that. And I'll share that, and it could be an idea that maybe you think about as we do this practice today, or maybe you think about throughout your day. So the first one is taking— it's from Richard Branson, the very famous billionaire and entrepreneur. He said taking care of your health It's the most important thing you can do if you are an entrepreneur or a business leader. If you're healthy and fit, you can achieve anything. And I think, you know, I use this quote more broadly, you know, not just like physical health but mental health. I think mental health is more than anything, more powerful than even your physical health, because, you know, if you You know, sometimes if you're hurt physically, you can overcome it if you're just mentally strong. But if you're hurt mentally, no matter how physically strong you are, it may be impossible to get through that. And so keeping care of ourselves and our mental health is so, so important, whether you're an entrepreneur or a business person, as he mentioned, or any other field. You know, if you're a doctor or an accountant, a teacher, an artist, whatever you are, Taking care of our mental health is so important to, to achieve what we wish in the world. And so that's the first one. Second one is every day you have to make time for stillness, and stillness is where all the answers come. This is from Oprah Winfrey. And I, I think of our self-love practice as, as a practice of stillness. It's It's making time for us. It's almost, you know, a form of meditation in a way. And so, you know, if you want to achieve greatness and success, I think making time for your mental health, making time for yourself is a way to really do that. It's probably one of the more powerful ways, but underappreciated. Now we have this concept, this idea. Now we're going to do a little check-in and then I'll explain the practice for today. How am I feeling today? Today I'm feeling pretty good. If you've been following along the journey the last week or so, I've been a little down. That's what kind of spurred on this practice, but today I'm feeling rested. I'm feeling good. The weather is really excellent today. I had a really nice run and got some bread, uh, along on my, on my run. So, and some coffee too, actually. I got a big bag of coffee. So I'm feeling good. I'm think I'm feeling really good and I'm excited to do this, uh, video again with all of you. Uh, I'll give all of you a moment to do a check-in for yourself. Okay, awesome. If you feel like it, please leave a comment with, uh, how you're feeling, um, and in what we practiced today. It'd be good to, good to hear where people are feeling and how they're, what they're sharing. Okay, so today's practice is we're going to take 5 minutes, uh, and we're going to take 5 minutes to write a little love letter to ourselves, just sharing some thoughts, some positive thoughts about ourselves to ourselves. As if maybe— think of it if you were writing a letter to your brother, your sister, your mom or dad, a best friend, or, you know, someone else that you really care about, your partner maybe, and you wanted to— you were gonna write a letter to them just expressing how how much you cared about them, you know, well, how would you write it? And now instead of it being addressed to them, address it to yourself, just trying to appreciate you and just taking, like I said, 5 minutes to do this little letter and then we'll talk about it afterwards. Okay, so I'm gonna put on the timer. Perfect. Enjoy. And if you need a little inspiration, just a quick— like, what I wrote for my first line is, "Thank you for being in my life." That helps a little bit, gets it going then. Great. About 3 minutes left. About a minute, 50 seconds. 30 seconds. Okay, that's it. Let's finish up your sentence. Okay, okay, I'm going to share mine. Okay, um, so mine reads, um, thank you for being in my life. You're such a good friend. You're constantly checking in on me daily. You care for me in so many ways. You are, um, you're feeding me healthy food. Uh, you care for my, uh, for my body by working out, uh, daily and intensely but not too vigorously. You're always changing, uh, You're always checking on, on maybe, uh, various mental health practices like meditation, therapy, journaling, self-love, and more. Uh, you have time to do— you make time to do the fun things and learn and grow. Uh, you are loved by many for your kindness, generosity, authentic nature, your humor, and so much more. I wish you much peace and happiness. You deserve it. Cool. That's it. Pretty simple. But yeah, it's a nice practice to keep, keep our self-love journey going. So that's it for today. We're just gonna do a quick checkout and see how we're feeling. I think I'm feeling— I'm still feeling good, maybe even a little bit better because of the practice. What about all of you? Cool. Feel free to share, you know, what you wrote in the comments or, uh, how you're feeling in the check-in or check-out. Uh, and if this video was helpful, please consider liking and subscribing to the channel.
