Hey, podcast listeners, it's Ben Greenfield here. I have a question for you. Have you ever been on a cruise? How about maybe a trip to an all inclusive resort? Maybe airline travel, Maybe just a long road trip in the car or a trip to a vacation home with your family. Either way, many people travel quite a bit, even more than you sometimes realize you do if you really sit down and think about it. And of all the things that can kind of derail your fitness routine or your nutrition routine, typically it's travel because it does kind of take you outside of your comfort zone and outside of the foods and the gyms and the exercise or the nutrition situations that are familiar to you. And this week and next week and last week, I am and was traveling quite a bit. And what I would like to do is this week, as I travel in particular down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and then over to Jamaica for a triathlon, is answer your questions about travel and making smart travel decisions. I'm going to have my video camera on me and I will shoot video responses that go into detail answering questions that you have about travel, nutrition, travel, fitness, and ways to stay in shape or eat better while you're on the go. Now, of course, I expect you, because you are a brilliant podcast listener, to be able to come up with your own creative questions, but I will also be generating content for you. So stay tuned to BenGreenfieldFitness.com over the next week as I release videos. Now, all of these videos, as I am traveling and not quite in the recording studio, will be there in lieu of this week's podcast. But wait, before you get angry and stop listening because there isn't a podcast this week, I do want to give you a very special announcement. And here it is. I am on the hunt for a new Ben Greenfield, fitness podcast host slash producer. That would be the same person, ideally. So what exactly does this involve? Well, first of all, it means that you filter questions for the Q and A section. You choose questions that come in that are new or cover topics that we haven't previously covered on BenGreenfieldFitness.com next, you will be in charge of assisting me with procuring and scheduling special guests for featured topics. Guests that listeners and Facebook fans are constantly asking me to get onto the podcast, but who I sometimes don't quite have the time to track down. Next, you would be responsible for actually recording the show and assisting with show production. And I'll get into that in just a second. You would be responsible for preparing the show notes for each new episode and I would be helping out considerably with that. But you would be needing to actually put up the post for each new episode of BenGreenfieldFitness.com and perhaps most importantly, you would be appearing with me on the Ben Greenfield Fitness show each week in front of what is now amounting to anywhere between 8 to 10,000 daily listeners to ask the fitness and nutrition questions that come in and also just engage in friendly banter with me. So as you can imagine, for this position you'd need to be outgoing, you'd need to be very communicative, organized and preferably pretty passionate about fitness, nutrition and other topics that we address on the show. And you should also be experienced with audio production, preferably with a decent microphone. And I would be willing to entertain talking about hooking you up with a better microphone. And you would also need of course a computer with Skype and also with Garageband or Audacity software. So if you have experience with audio production, it is a huge plus for this position. You would need to be available usually on Wednesday mornings sometime between 7 and 11am Pacific Time to record the show and that would be about it. You simply need to have the audio know how, the passion and the time and really the the desire to be a big, big part of the Ben Greenfield Fitness Podcast, which is only getting more and more massive each week. Which is another reason that I want to bring on a new host slash producer. Now this is not a paid position per se. However you would be given a concierge training program with me complete 24, 7 access to me and the same type of fitness and nutrition consulting that I give to my high end clients. So you would certainly benefit from this position. And it's also something for someone who would enjoy the opportunity to discuss these topics with me on air and gain experience producing a show that has a global audience. So it certainly would pay dividends for you. Now if you'd like to apply, here's exactly what you need to do. You need to email Ben greenfieldfitness.com and include the following your interest in and experience with my podcasts and similar podcasts, your experience with audio production, any experience you have behind a microphone or a camera or working in media and finally confirmation that you actually have the necessary equipment and are available generally on Wednesday mornings sometime between 7 and 11am Pacific Time to record the show. Now final decisions will be made by me on or prior to December 1, 2011, so you'll need to get your items into me as quickly as possible and that is the special announcement about the next Ben Greenfield Fitness Podcast host. So finally, if you want to ask your question to be covered in the video travel tips series that I'm going to be doing over@BenGreenfieldFitness.com I will give priority to questions that are asked via audio by calling in toll free to 877-209-9439 or if you're international, by simply Skyping me at Skype name Pacific Fit. I will also be giving priority to questions asked over@the facebook.com bgfitness page. That's the Ben Greenfield Fitness Facebook page. If you ask your question via Facebook or by calling toll free to 877-209-9439 or Skyping to Pacific Fit, you have a high likelihood that I'm going to answer your question in this video series. So that is it for this week. The rest of my communication with you is going to be via video over@BenGreenfieldFitness.com don't worry. This podcast is not going anywhere anywhere. It's only going to get bigger. And it's a change this new host and podcast assistant that is going to allow that to happen. So have a great week, have a healthy week. And until next time, this is Ben from BenGreenfieldFitness.com signing out. Sam. Sa. Sam.
