Podcast episode (My HPF Podcast, host Al) discussing how consistency—in actions, energy and time management—separates men who are merely good from those who are great. Emphasizes fathers improving family, marriage, personal habits, and leadership through alignment, coaching, tracking (sleep/rings), and deliberate daily routines; advocates picking one habit, declaring commitment publicly, and using coaching/tribe to sustain change.

Welcome to another episode of Real Dad Movement podcast. The point and purpose of these episodes, as always, is to have a point and purpose towards helping you win the second half in life by building a path of becoming the best father, husband, man and member of your community that you can be. We do this with various ways of connecting. Life is connection. And as you hear these words spoken time and time again, know that the driving force of connection in life is energy. Which means that how you turn up as a father, as a husband, as a valued member of society will always start and end with how you turn up as a man within yourself. First, this is why it's my mission, my purpose, our mission, our purpose through Real Dad Movement to inspire, motivate, educate, and guide you into thoughts, feelings, actions and a change in your belief systems to rise up, cut the shit from your life and live and leave a real legacy. When dads win, everyone wins. And when you win, I win. Let's get moving forward, mate. Right here, right now. What separates men from good to great? Welcome to another episode. This is your host, Al. And in this episode, we're deep diving into the difference between most men in this world. And as a man moving through his life, moving through his journey, you accumulate hats. And these hats range from being a husband to being a father, to being a business owner or worker out there in the community, to being a member of the community of society, to being a friend, to being a mentor, to being a leader and all the other different moving parts that make life what life is. One of the hard things, though, is asking yourself, well, am I the architect that's putting together all the things that make life what life is? And the greatest way to answer that is to ask yourself, what am I consistently doing? Because what separates men from good to great? And even what separates men from poor in the pit, broken down, falling apart to just good is absolutely that word. And we're going to dive into that episode today. And that word, which is symbolism behind what you repeatedly do, which is symbolism behind the energy you express in the world, which is symbolism behind ultimately the two things that you and I never get back, which is why I keep hammering around these points. Time and energy. Time and energy. You will never get this back. Time and energy is consistency. It's really funny, that. Not boring or bland, maybe basic, I don't know. There's complexities to life for sure, but simple, definitely. But it's always the simple things that are the difference. Even some of our high profile dads who they're part of our platinum team, they're. They're paying good money, paying good money to me for the answers they already have, for the things they know they need to do. And I'm like, yes, that's right. That's my fucking job. To continually show you the simple fundamentals that are working so you don't go off chasing the next shiny object. You don't go off changing what works. You think what you did is works. All of a sudden you're the wizard that breaks off and tries to do every other fucking thing instead of focusing on the one most important thing that got you to where you are. That's invaluable, man. Member or not, paying or not, this is the value that separates most people in life. Because life is chaos. Think about this. If you didn't have children to take away fulfillment and significance and all the meaning and feelings behind it. Think about pure production, pure capacity. If you didn't have a missus, if you didn't have children, if you didn't have all the other different things that clutch to you and pluck away minutes and hours every single day. What do you think Sheely is a robot just in go mode in the zone. What do you think your production and capacity would be now? I understand the drivers behind that. Yes, is the feeling like I bust and hook in and I bleed for these men on the inside because of the feeling and significance behind that, because of how I turn up and lead my family, I get all that. But taking away distractions, other moving parts that limit your capacity and ability to perform every day, you'd be crushing it. This is the hard part. In a world full of chaos, now more than ever you are distracted, you're sedated. We did an online order the other day and just did it with my wife. She usually does it. Click and collect. It's quite convenient. And we get all our meat free range organic from butchers. We get our fruit and veg from one of my best mates who owns a fruit and veg shop. So we get all of the really fundamental, important stuff with the highest quality and source. You are not what you eat, you are what your body allows you to absorb. But yes, some of the non perishables and bits and pieces around cleaning products and all of those sorts of things. We use, you know, your bigger chain stores and we did a click and collect and every when we're going through there's, there's a section that says bought before. So this is bought before. Let's have a look. Karin, what have you bought before that? I Don't know about scrolling through every fucking page. I'm seeing these little hits of specials for alcohol. I was like, what? Six pack of Coronas. What's. She's like, I've never bought that. They were saying wine, they were seeing Jack Daniels. You know, we're seeing scotch. We were seeing all these different things, like, what is going on here? I'm like, mate, unbelievable, Unbelievable. You know? And I'm not here to say the world is against you, but what I'm here to say is if you don't have clarity, if you don't have a vision, if you don't have a pathway to what you need to consistently do in your life, you will get shown your pathway. You will get told what to do. You will become a slave to something or someone because you can't think for yourself and stand up on two legs to show that you've been consistent inside of your life. So when I'm talking about sedation and distraction, yes, I'm talking about drugs, alcohol, television technology, multiple environments you're engaging in with respect, unless I'm going to travel over to certain parts of the world or different countries and lend a hand or create a high level of influence and change there, what the fuck am I doing watching it on my phone and seeing what's going on over there? That's not part of my reality. That's not part of my world right now. As it stands, that may paint a vision of future possibilities, of something that might be happening in Greece or France or Germany or Calcutta. That may paint a possibility of the future. But then I start living in future fear or fantasy instead of focusing on the now and what I can do. So what I'm talking about as a coach, as a mentor, the multiple services, programs, products, things that we have in place as a sign of remembrance and symbolism to what you need to keep turning up as, as a high performance father. Whether that's our skill, skincare, whether it's our new shaker bottles that we have, whether it's our stainless steel water bottles, whether it is our supplements, whether it is our high performance father journal, whether it is our wristbands, whether it is our pens, whether it is our gear, our jerseys, the membership number we're looking at, yes, this is the fold that I am part of. It's all highlighting what you can do to focus on in the most important thing, to keep moving forward in what's important for you and what matters to you. Which is why what we do here in our High performance Father program really hinges around Continually exposing you to the facts. What have you done? Where are we? And then the possibilities, okay, well, where are we going and why? And what do we need to do? Pillars of progress, precision and purpose. Are you performing with excellence? What do you need to do? How well do you need to do it? Why are you doing it? This is a powerful thing. Like, you can't neglect that from yourself. And as we start to paint this framework or paint the picture of my role, our role, what we do on the inside. Yeah, you might already have the answers, but where are you now? This is the crazy part of life. And that's definitely not taking away from what we do, the fundamental value we add and the simplicity that we apply to the core elements of your life. Alignment, energy, immersion, performance. What we do in a creative way, with the cadence and rhythm of the data the fathers give us, is we position ourselves and we help them position themselves with different perspectives around what they need to do so they can connect with that and find those key cues that can connect a higher drive of purpose and action to go, yes, this is why I will do it. Otherwise, eat well, exercise, spend time with your family, don't be a fuckwit, and continually grow. Awesome. The end. Everyone in the world has changed. You and I know it doesn't work that way, does it? You can have the answer, but how do you keep connecting to that answer? How do you keep realigning with the answer? And this is how? Consistency. Consistency is your answer. That is the difference. That's what separates men from good to great. How often are you turning up? If it's the same thing, how often do you keep executing on that? But there's a layer to this as well. Are you consistently doing things that are destroying you in your life, or are you consistently doing things that are improving and building your life? Because that's something you need to be aware of as well. And this is the value and the beauty of what we do on the inside. I've read a shitload of books and I love the books because they're showing history and they're translating the journey and the energy of a man, a woman, a person, a human being's life, which then can be absorbed into the lessons you can take into your life. To not only fast track the pitfalls or the opportunities one way or the other, but also to build your own awareness and knowledge of self, where you stand in the world and what you can do, what you need to do to make a full and rich life. What I love about this is not just a All walks of life approach of reading some sort of principle that can apply to a 10 year old or a 40 year old. And yeah, our principles can of course, family, self and service. I mean that can apply to a 12 year old, an 18 year old is about to leave school. Yeah, family, self and service, absolutely. Like our principles can apply to a man and a woman. But the way in which we deliver them, the terminology, the scenarios, the specificity of how we do this applies directly and exactly for that father who's entering the second half or in the second half. And I love using that term because as men, driven, competitive, most of us, some area of a sporting background or at least an awareness of that. I mean, sports are a part of everyone's life, whether you're watching it, playing it, aware of it, still doing it, history of it, coaching it. It's really interesting when we're looking at that term, the second half, because whilst it's got that analogy of sport and winning the game is life, but you don't know when that second half has started. You could be 44 years of age, maybe you're starting the second half, but if you die in two years time, your first half is done at 23. You started the second half at 24 years of age. Pretty crazy, right? You don't know when your second half has started. You're working off the averages, which is a number to showcase the average life expectancy. That's great. We're not here for average. We're not here for average anything. It's around positioning perspectives behind the importance of your life and the value of those two things that you will never get back. Time and energy. Yes, you'll have more time that you can create. Yes, you'll rejuvenate and be able to express more energy every single day. Whether you have a poor night's sleep or a great night's sleep, your body will recharge to some degree and you will be able to express more energy. But what are you consistently doing? Are you consistently doing it well? And where is this consistency of action taking you? Is it moving you towards good or bad? This is what separates men from good to great. I can't express this enough. It's what's led to the big leaps that I've taken in my life every single year in 2018-2019-2020-2021. Last two years have been two of the most phenomenal years of my life. May be hard to receive, may be hard to say, I guess because the world in many ways is in different areas of turmoil. But I'm focusing on what I can control, how I can lead, how I can influence, how I can create change in other people's lives. And that's all that matters to me. If we can do that and sort our own shit out and look after ourselves first, well, then we can handle the adversities and challenges of the changing landscape better. It's that simple. Pill one. Security. No, you're leaning on things external that can change any time. You think the four walls of your life, water, food, shelter, organizations, corporations, government, whatever you want to call, you think you have these four walls of security and stability. You don't. You build that shit from the inside out. But this is the difference. And my life has had plenty of ups and downs. Plenty. And guess what? When they were down, I wasn't consistent. I wasn't doing the fundamental things well. I was sporadic, I was erratic, I was frantic. I wasn't creating stability. So I was losing certainty. I was losing control. Which became that cycle, that vicious cycle, that whirlwind where I was in the pit. Which means I was lashing out. I was stubborn. I had a poor temperament in nature. I wasn't leading. My actions weren't matching up to the words. And I'm not here to say you should get up at the same time every day. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, a lot of. A lot of wizards and billionaires might say that bullshit. Are you wearing an aura ring and tracking your sleep, your heart rate variability, your body temperature and your body clock and working through that with actual data, real data. Because let me tell you right now, the difference between getting up at 4:30, I don't care how much fucking journaling, meditation and creating space you do, if you get up at 4:30 every day, you've got other variables like young children or different stresses in your life that lead to a shit night's sleep. Maybe the difference between 4:30 and 6:00am in that hour and a half of spending time for yourself, creating space, going for all that sort of stuff, maybe that'll be better position by getting an extra 90 minutes of sleep. That's going to help your body recharge so you can get back in front with a higher level of energy, more clarity and focus at a fundamental level, at a chemical level and emotional level, at a physiological level, by being more charged for the day. And this is what I love. We continually go to the next level. We continually stretch. If you listen to the podcast with Ken and I and even the other coaches with our High Performance Father program, our platinum this is exactly what we do. Let's go for the kill. And the kill is by getting the right amount of data to find what we need to consistently do. So with our rings and how we're tracking our sleep and all sort of stuff, as long as you can get in the 80s, you are winning. So today my readiness score was 89. My sleep score was 79. Nearly in the 80s. That's great. When my sleep is in the 70s consistently, I'm going, okay. When it's in the 60s, I'm falling down. Three kids under five, it's challenging. It's very hard with all the different variables. So if I want to get up at 3:34, 4:35, it's hard at times because I know that if I get up a little bit later, I'm more prepped and charged for the day. So consistency comes from many different layers, not just being a robot and doing the same thing every day. That's bullshit because there's so many variables that can change the day. But the same approach, the same behavior, the same principles, yes, they can work. They can work well when backed with action. So this is where it becomes a real gray area and the term consistency loses its zest or its attractiveness because what you tie that into is a repetitive nature. You can be inconsistent. That's a form of consistency. Your life can be chaotic. That's a form of consistency. Whether you want to use that or the word patterns doesn't matter. When we're looking at one of our principles, the pattern of performance, that's a form of consistency, which is the systems, the order in which you do things, the behavior, your mental approach, and how you turn up, the frequency, how often you do it. Too much will fuck you, too little will fuck you. And the habit, a belief system. What we actually do best. We are the king of habits. That's what we are. We're talking about men rejuvenating their marriages, their love life, reconnecting with their children, their family, fixing broken marriages, not going down the line of divorce. If that's happened, how do we repair the man so he can rejuvenate himself for the second half in life? How can we help him invest in himself so he can move forward and be more for his children still for his business or work? Yes, it's habits. This is what we do, of course. The tactics, the strategies, the love languages, the different approaches, the different philosophies we have around. Expression of energy and leading the household, reconnecting with your wife, listening, communicating. Better yet, all of that ties in, but it ties into the habits. The frustrating part though is you may have a poor habit and you don't recognize it because you're justifying to yourself the current agenda that you have behind that, validating who you are or creating excuse which turns you into a continual victim instead of rising up and continually addressing this. This is why coaching is important. This is why having the right environment is important. You can't go this alone because even someone like myself, I've got a million different perspectives. This is my skill set, this is what I do. Whilst I've got an amazing background with health and wellness and yes, technology and fitness and all that sort of shit, for me it really is alignment. So even someone like myself, who's worked with thousands of fathers, got a multitude of different experience in life that has both built my life and tore my life to pieces in my relationships, in my personal life, in my business, in my families, in my health. With so many different perspectives and such a creative mindset around how I position myself to zoom out of life and have different third points of view and bird eye views, I still need help with this because even within that capacity, which is a large one, it's still coming from Al. Who the fuck's Al? So this is why it's very important. Because when you have someone continually expose the facts and then align that with the feelings that's been and the feelings that can come and what's desired and the future facts, you start to build a rhythm. And with us is very clear with our Sunday charge ups which is our coaching session to set the stage for the week. Our week starts on Sunday. This is how crazy it is to, you know, the common ground of man and what, what people accustom themselves to or condition themselves to believe. Sundays and Mondays, they're our best days of the week. I fucking love Sunday and Monday. It's amazing. It's not a depressing. I've escaped. I've escaped my life for two days now. I'm back in the grind. Jesus, man. Bloody hell. If that's your. You need to have a long hard look at yourself and go what the fuck am I doing this for? Because you probably ask that question but you keep turning up and doing the same thing. Tgif. I mean Jesus, there's been whole build businesses and buildings like restaurants and pubs and bars built around this, this belief system. Thank God it's Friday. I mean I don't mind Friday, but I'm filming this. Today's Friday doesn't feel any greater for me. And I love Sunday. Sunday and money. Wow. What a. What a time to thrive. Absolutely. Dominate the week ahead. Set up the week ahead and get ready to win. When's that? What. What the fuck's hump day mean? Someone please explain it to me. Middle of the week. What's a week? What do you mean? What's Thursday? What does that even mean? Someone put the letter T next to the letter H, next to the letter U, next to the letter R, next to the letters S, D, A, Y. Hey, we've got a word. Hey, let's fucking call it Thursday. This is the crazy shit. You jump in your car, you put your seatbelt on without even thinking about it. I'm not saying this is bad. What I'm saying is you can't build consistency inside of your life if you don't even peel back the layers and zoom out a little bit to have that awareness, to understand exactly where you stand and how you leverage time, how you leverage the social constructs of our society, how you leverage the mechanics of Monday to Sunday, how you leverage the mechanics of New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and 2022 and 2028. You must leverage different perspectives inside of yourself by getting outside of yourself to build a pattern of consistency inside of your life. This is the difference. I've seen many coaches talk about it and I understand, I appreciate, I respect their position, but they still stay surface level. Do what you said you would do. That's consistency. But are you peeling back the layers and going, am I doing what I said I would do the right way? Is what I'm doing what I said I would do the right way? Actually moving me and my family and my legacy forward or backwards? How can I continually adapt and change in doing what I said I would do the right way, in moving my legacy for my family and myself forwards or backwards without awareness, to make sure I'm on track, done in the right environment with the right coaching the right people in my corner to make sure I continually cut the bullshit and the lies and sweeping shit under the rug and burying my head in the sand so I can actually get out of my own way and break through a glass ceiling and continually thrive. Peeling the onion layer back one by one. It's not as hard as you think, man. Please understand this. It's actually not that hard. It's very hard when you're alone. It's very hard when you don't stop, slow down the world, take time out for yourself and just reevaluate everything that doesn't mean deep and heavy and dark or light or make or break or. No one moment defines the man at all. Never, never, never, never. It's the man who defines his moments. No moment defines the man in life. It's the man who defines the moments. And that is the truth. Whether it's the winning try in state of origin or the final conversion. Get that six pointer in afl. That final penalty shootout doesn't define anyone. Even that gymnast. I don't really follow much of that shit. But even that gymnast, Simone, best gymnast arguably in history and, you know, crumbling, falling down, falling apart. I'm not here to judge her and say she's weak or strong. Her life's. Her life. I don't live in her shoes. I will say this, though. Pressure is always a received perception of expectations on your external factors and environment. That's what it is. So when my wife is hassling me to do something and she's barking or pushing, not that I'm saying she does, but if she's doing that just like you, if you're standing in my face and you're expressing a large level of energy, two things can happen. I can either conquer that with a higher and larger amount of energy to overcome that resistance, or I can simply dismiss and deflect that energy, which means it doesn't come into my internal frame. Both can work. This is the Law of Attraction. Are you willing to either deflect the universal energies that are not in your best interest and not moving forward towards growth? Are you able to rise above the resistance the energies of the universe are putting in front of you to overcome those and create life? Because you are the creator. You are, you are creating heaven or hell. Don't deny that fact, mate. Whether you really. I'm not, you know, whether you're religious or not, I'm not a fan of using that as a term. I think. I think religion, faith, and whether it's source, Gandhi, God, whatever word you want to use, they are completely different things. When you actually break it all open, it's your connection to yourself and what you do in how you express that vessel of you to connecting to a higher level of what that next version of you looks like. Call that whatever you want. So when we're looking at pressures, a pressure is really an accepted perception of expectations. And that one moment for that. Simone doesn't define who she is. Doesn't matter what the papers and all these people who fucking castrate her, all those who raise her up to be a hero, doesn't define her. Just like your life, man. Consistency is what defines the man. This is what I love about identity. Identity is a choice. It's very simple. Identity comes down to two things. You want to define who you are. No worries. Make that decision inside yourself. Whether you call it your mind, heart, soul, spirit, you make a choice. Cool. That's one part. We've got to bring the other part to the table. Two parts. One is a choice. Second one is reinforcing this truth in the real world. When I say real world, I mean the external world. So your internal world. Yes, this is who I am. So Al is a, is an eight foot tall gorilla. Cool. Okay. What's the external world say? Well, I'm not eight foot tall and I'm not a gorilla. Okay, well that's not your identity then, is it Al? So this is what I mean when it comes down to identity. So you could carry the traits, the decision making, the actions of being a fuckwit, but that doesn't mean you're gonna be a fuckwit for the rest of your life. You can change that. You can turn that around and go, well, I choose not to be this anymore, mate. Well done. Bravo. Show me you made the choice inside, now show me in the external world. Reinforce it as truth by showing me your actions. Which means when we look at identity, it's flaked, it's flaking and it's fleeting. It is a flaked approach because you can dodge, dive, duck, which means you don't even know who you are. When we look at the term that I've coined, and I'm sure there's other terms for it, but the term I use on the inside as absolute identity, that is a ratio on percentages, on a percentage based process of who you turned up as internally and externally, more often than not throughout the course of your life. Which means, funnily enough, your absolute identity can change too. Because there are periods of my life when I was a fuckwit, you know, I was a fat, heavily overweight, depressed, bullied boy from 8 till about 16. Started lifting weights at 13 years of age. But still all the other joys and pleasures of junk, takeaway, food, all that sort of shit. Cordial. But I started to Sharpen up at 17. Then at 18, I was very strong. Good muscle, strong. The arm wrestling king in my school, all that sort of shit. Backseat. I was the king of the backseat on the bus. So anyone other than a grade nine, I was in year 12. You couldn't sit on the back seat. I'd push kids off, like, I became the bully. I'm the big man now. You know, I had to earn my stripes. I got bullied when I was young. Now you earn your fucking stripes. I'm the king. I'm the man. I've got the muscle. So I look back, some of that stuff. I don't regret it because in retrospect, by reflecting, it's made me a better and more humbling and empathetic man. But that's not my absolute identity. So if there's someone who I catch up with from high school who may still see me as that version, they're living in the past. I've moved on. That goes for anyone. Anyone who may see Al 12 months ago. Oh, yeah, that's still the Al I know. Or Al the gym owner. It's like, mate, you're fucking living in the past. You have no idea who I am. You have no idea what I'm capable of. But I'll keep showing it. I'll show it to myself and to the world. So absolute identity is also something that continually moves through the percentages of your life. But ultimately, when you are on your deathbed is when that will be completely defined. That's legacy. Is it a poor one or a great one? I hope this episode has really served you well. For me, it's not about flogging the word consistency and just saying consistency 500 times. What I've done in this episode alone is painted a picture with some personal reflection, stories, different positions around you, seeing why it's such a critical thing. It's crucial in life, man. Your belief systems, your emotions and feelings, your triggers, your impulses. Are you reacting or responding to life? Your thoughts. 60 to 90,000 thoughts a day. They're faster than the speed of light. That's an expression of energy. It's not just your physical actions. Everything's energy. My thoughts, feelings, emotions, words, my eyeballs moving around. Your sensory perceptions, your physical presence. All of it. All of it. But it is important to know that everything I've just explained and gone through in this episode when we're talking about what women want inside of your relationships, because this is the point. There's always a point to this. And I want you to apply. Above all else, always apply action immediately. Don't wait a day or two right fucking now. As soon as you stop listening to this, find something. Apply action applies to your life. And go with your marriage, your relationships. How do you think you can build honesty and trust from your wife if you're not consistent? Most guys who say I'm going to change. I want to change. I want to change. But they keep going it alone. What do you think you're showing your wife? Oh, here we go. He's going to change, but he's actually doing it by himself again. What do you think's going through her head? Well, I mean, shit, the last six years he's tried eight different things and all eight of those he tried on his own, he failed at all eight of those. So. Well, I'm not going to hold my breath. He's obviously not going to win at this one either. This is why, and I'm not here to sell our program, but this is why our program works phenomenally well. You go to your wife and you make that declaration. You make that fucking declaration. Hey, this is important for me. This is important for us. So I'm going to do this. There's a program called High Performance Father. There's Alan and a complete elite team of coaches that are going to help me under the big umbrella, the banner of Real Dad Movement, which helps thousands of fathers all over the country. And this is what I'm going to do. This is my declaration and how I'm going to do it. There's alignment to get crystal clear on what's important for me. My family, my relationship, my children, my life. I'm going to have more energy, I'm going to have more, a more immersive environment that looks after me by having a real tribe and coaches keep me on the straight. Like when you make that declaration and then you show that, tell you right now, man, that's going to build a lot more trust and honesty with your wife then just the next silver bullet, quick fix, shiny object that hasn't worked before. When we're talking consistency with your marriage, with your relationships, how you're turning up, it's having that awareness and knowing that life is energy. So what's the energy that you're expressing? It's why a lot of the bullshit going on at the moment, and I use the word bullshit, not as a point of opinion or even facts, as a point of the energy expression. That's why I call it bullshit. A lot of the stuff happening at the moment is driven by fear. So driven by fear, I've got good mates who are in specific areas of the media doing their role in their own thing and they're good men with their hearts in the right place. But as a whole, fuck me dead like the mainstream media, I've got no respect for them. It's all fear driven. But I Haven't for years. Many, many years. And again, this is an opinion. It's an observation of an expression of energy. Please tell me I'm wrong. Oh, they're giving you information, Al. Is it information or misinformation? I don't know. But where's the energy behind the information coming from? Fear. So when we're looking inside of your life as we wrap this up, you need to ask yourself, well, as a man, as a husband, as a father, as a leader, or as a lagger, are you a lagger? You're not even leading your life. Who am I standing up and turning up as when I'm looking in the mirror? And what is the expression of energy that I'm consistently putting out? What is the level of awareness and reflection and adjustment of my life that I'm consistently putting in place? True power. Learn, do, reflect. You can't just have two of them. You can't learn and do. Learn and do. You could be going the wrong way. You can't just do and reflect. Do and reflect. You could be beating your head against the wall and take forever for something that might only take a month's time because you didn't get the knowledge acquired to do it. You can't just learn and reflect because then you're the old fucking wizard, the keyboard warrior, sitting back in his throne in a library of books that's actually done nothing with his life. You're just a big man of theory. Learn, do, reflect. When you build consistency inside of that in itself, that's going to give you a pathway to what's working, what isn't, what you can do, how you can be a better husband, how you can be a better father, how you can be a better man inside of your own life first. I'm telling you, gentlemen, this is what it is. Take action. Review right now. Okay? What am I consistently doing? Because you are. Everyone's doing something consistently. This is the crazy part. This is why it's actually an under the radar kind of thing. You're all performing with a level of consistency. Like I said, being inconsistent is consistent. Right now. Take action. Let's wrap this up. Take action. Sit down. What are key areas of my life? Husband, father, man, business, work, health, energy, time. All right. And I know with COVID it's been hard, but we've nearly got our second version professionally published, about to come out with our championship journal. Fuck. I'm excited. You guys will love this. It's amazing. And we are going to get a. We've got a hundred special edition 100 out for the public, the rest are for members. So I will give you guys notice. But yes, we've got nearly half of those already on pre order. So if you do want a copy, make sure that you you email me alexealdadmovent.com and we'll put you on the waiting list. But those journals are phenomenal. But sit down. Time. All right. What am I consistently doing in my life? What am I consistently doing that's serving me well? What am I not doing well? What am I doing that's moving me away from where I want to go, that pathway? And don't worry about five years, 10 year goals, all that sort. Where am I now? What does August look like? What does summer look like? What does the next thousand minutes look like? That's one day. What am I consistently doing? Is it moving me forward or backwards? What can I do to start to build that in? Do I need a coach or mentor to take me away from how I'm fucking thinking and changing? Trust me, we're not here to tell you what to think. It's how. How to think, how to engage, how to take action, how to back it up, how to repetitively build. How to build the fundamentals inside of your life. Not just the what's the how? Because that connects the what and the why. That is the bridge towards greatness. What can I start doing that's going to build better consistency inside of my life? We got a $20 whiteboard. We're gonna create one just for fathers. We got a $20 whiteboard at the moment at home. Alright, Crin, when are we having honey and handsome time? Three times this week. When are you gonna train so I can take the kids? When am I gonna train? When am I going to walk the dogs? And when am I doing something with the kids like taking them to the park? All right, let's build that. So consistency for that is purely setting our intentions and planning the work for the week ahead. Now let's work that plan. That could be. It could be that simple, man. It could be on your phone. I'm not a big fan of calendars on phones, but the reason why I love pen to paper journaling, other things that slow you down is it brings you back into the present and it's generally tools that have no other purpose. If you've got a whiteboard, you can't use the whiteboard for social media or Facebook or fucking YouTube, can you? Whereas if you're going to use your phone for your calendar, that is a tool with 40, 50 80, 100 different uses that you'll utilize it for that aren't moving you forward. That doesn't have your best interest at heart. So if you're using a calendar on your phone, great. You got to be more disciplined, man, to commit to that, to make sure you follow through so you don't get distracted or interrupted. Where can I improve my life? Pick one thing, let's wrap this up. Pick one thing. Where can I improve my life to get more consistent? How is that going to move me forward? Who do I declare that to? And who am I going to help influence or have a ripple effect that improves their life as well? Bang. This is what I'm doing with my kids. Every Thursday and Sunday, I'm taking them to a park. Whether it's a new park, an old park, this is our time with them. That's it. I'm going to consistently build that over the month of August. Well done, mate. Great. Don't try and do everything at once. You know, I've got about at least 30 different things. It's going to be our next episode with Ken. What does a week in the life of Val look like? A day in the life of our look like? And yeah, I've got a lot of different things didn't happen overnight. Just built one beauty. It's part of the arsenal, part of the tool belt. Let's build another. Part of the tool belt. Let's build another. So wearing my ring, tracking my sleep, tracking my heart rate variability, tracking my nutrition, how I'm doing all these different bits and pieces, I didn't just throw it all together. You'll fall apart. You won't handle it. Pick one. I hope you got some value out of this episode. Consistency, that is your answer. That is the difference between what separates men from good to great. That really is. You want to live a great and glorious life. I don't care how much money I have, how good a father you think you are, how good you think your love life is, how good your body is. The difference between having all of it together, family, self and service and being a real high performance father and being successful in life is having your shit together and organized to juggle all three of those at the highest level. By being consistent in all three of those, by being consistent in the most important thing first, you being a true 100% so you can give others 100%. Take action right now, mate. I hope this serves you well. Apply it to your life immediately. Find one thing where you can improve and start to build consistency off the back of having that declaration to your family, to yourself, to coaches, mentors, jotting it down, making it real. Think it, feel it, breathe it, live it, act it, write it, speak it. Like you need to build the repetitions and make it part of who you are. And when you consistently do that and consistently review that and know that it is moving you forward in your life, I promise you, mate, those little 1% increments will lead to the massive rewards down the track. Take care. Tune in for another episode soon. Cheers. 1,000 minutes a day, it's a lot. But when you're wasted on shit that doesn't serve you or move yourself or your family forward, you are bleeding the most valuable resource that you and I never get back. How much time do you think you have? And how much quality do you think you've had? Don't be a fool. Like the masses, thinking you will cheat the system or get round to it one day or worse. Just accepting life and sinking back into a slumber of regret. This is your moment, your time. You're cut from a different cloth. You have the hunger and desire to be more and live more. Otherwise you wouldn't be here. So stand up, find the golden nuggets. In this episode, you just listened to and align immediate action with them and where you want to go. You are worthy. This is your life. You are the king and this is your kingdom. Now go and claim it by showing, not telling and be the real leader. You and I both know you were born to be.
