This is an audio monologue by HPF Coach (episode "251. Podcast Al’s Insights #3") reflecting on leadership lessons—largely drawn from John C. Maxwell’s The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership and related thinkers (John Wooden, Maxwell Maltz). The host presents four core insights for men: (1) be ready for your time / prepare before opportunity arrives; (2) character endures beyond mortal life; (3) the heart (emotion/gut/intuition) precedes and enables the head (logic) to move people to action; and (4) you cannot help others rise without moving closer to the top yourself. The episode weaves these lessons with candid personal stories about trauma, recovery, the founding and mission of High Performance Father (HPF), and practical calls to act and apply the principles in family, self and service.

Al's insights number three. Welcome to an episode we're going to deep dive into four key points, a book I've been reading lately, the 21 irrefutable laws of Leadership by John C. Maxwell. Man's helped millions of people train tens of thousands of coaches. You know, he really has left a footprint with I think over 100 books now. The godfather of leadership. Isn't it crazy? As a young man he created an entire career and life and legacy of off. One word, one concept, one idea. He didn't create leadership, however, through his childhood and early years, it wasn't so much around leadership with all the books, all the content, all the curriculum, all the things that you can see. It was very top down heavy. So they're all around management. And he was like, what's going on here? There's no leadership books. There's nothing on how to actually lead your people as opposed to how to just manage them and keep systems and processes in order. And of course that plays a role but. Unbelievable, unbelievable. The craziest part about this is when I first read one of his books when I was younger, I think I was between 18 and 22, I thought it was shit. But to his credit, in one of the podcasts I listened to, you know, he's 77 years of age now, he thought they were shit as well, but you know that they're awesome. I obviously wasn't ready at the time to take on board the lessons. But like all things, he acknowledges with humility his own evolution. Which is why I love the 21 irrefutable laws because it's the 2 25th year anniversary edition, I think was updated back end of 2022, so very, very recent. It's something he's had for 25 years, but he constantly goes in and updates and refines it. The physical copy and I'm not sure if it's available on audio, I believe it is, but I love the physical copy because you can highlight, you can do so many things and draw out key points. So man, I want to share with you four key points from that from that book today. So this insight is ours. Insights is more around leadership. It's going to be a beautiful process that obviously through the bias lens of family, self and service, now operate with you and your marriage, with your wife, you with your relationship with your children, you with your relationship with yourself. And that's the most important thing. Your self image, that's what drives your reality. It's going to really click for you, you know, because you can talk about leadership. But, I mean, there's good and bad leaders, right? There are very strong leaders. You know, look at past wars. Just because you're a strong leader, though, doesn't mean that you're. You're a leader with, you know, with integrity and humanity's best interest at heart, so to speak. So let's dive on into it, boys. The very first one I love is this one here. The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his time when it comes. The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his time when it comes. It's. It's such a cool way to look at things. It really is, because all of you have had opportunities, you know, that like it. Some you haven't been able to capitalize on. Okay, well, I just want to. I want to sort of just combine these two points together because there's another one. So I guess there's five. But these two go hand in hand, which was John Wooden, arguably with his track record, the greatest coach of all time in professional basketball. What he said really couples with this nicely. But it is such a cool thing because you know what, guys? You all have a. You all, you all have a great crack at life in certain times. Now, look, you won't always get the same opportunities, and that's the tough pill to swallow in life, but you'll always have opportunities. But if some of those opportunities you'll never get again, the ones that could have been, you know, the holy grail, so to speak, or really the golden opportunity of a lifetime, well, tough, tough. But here you are, living, breathing. Can you grow? Can you evolve? Can you create opportunity? You don't. You don't find it. You create it through who you become. Of course you can. So don't. Don't count yourself down and out yet. Take from someone who's experienced pretty solid trauma in family, self and service. The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his time when it comes. I love it because it's just so proactive. But what John Wooden says, he's got a beautiful saying as well, is when opportunity comes, it's too late to prepare. I. I fucking love that man. Like, that's so true. It is so true. So it's not about luck, but there are going to be times when you guys are presented with opportunity through people, places and things. And when you present it, that's obviously along a timeline as such. This year, this month, this week, next year, three years time, four years time, things you can't even see yet, right? You've got the big fog covering the mountain. To version 2, version 3, version 4.0, there's beautiful treasures of gold, and the gold is symbolic of experiences, joy, love, growth, fulfillment, reward, contribution, achievement with loved ones. Like, that's. That's what the goal is. It's over there waiting for. You can't quite see it yet. And you're laying the bridge as the bridge is collapsing behind you. So sometimes you got to run and sprint, other times you got a bit of time. However, you don't know how long that bridge will take to make and you don't know how long it'll take you to get across there. And you don't quite know what the treasure is because there's fog that comes and goes. You see this little shiny, this little, you know, some almost like little sparkles that are, that are coming your way when the sun hits it. That's what opportunity is like. I look at HPF and the beautiful, beautiful beast that's becoming, and I'm like, man, this, this was one thing, and I don't want this to take over as another point. But one thing I always try and come back to, men, is what's the kindergarten perspective here? What's the kindergarten approach to this? What's the kindergarten solution and or answer? It's so important because there's not. Not even as men, but as adults. We try and be fucking fancy and articulate things and sound complex and intricate and it's like, nah, man. And come, come back to center high performance father which has saved lives, families, enriched and enhanced the lives of children that haven't even been born yet. Mothers, fathers, everyone else who's connected to it. That entire mission was born out of my life falling apart. This is the kindergarten approach. My life fell apart. I wanted to do something about it. I started doing something about it and sharing that with others. That's it. I'm not downplaying our process, in our coaching, in our events and retreats, and it's unbelievable. However, at the core, the fundamental truth is this beautiful mission which has already impacted thousands and thousands, thousands of people. Well, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands if you count one generation next or down. That all came from my life falling apart and not facing facts and owning my truth as a man and stepping the fuck up in family self and service. What a gift that came from my rugby league career being torn away from me from multiple operations and injuries and hardships that never quite had me break through and stay at the top. Yeah, it's it's pretty crazy how you look at your life and you think that, you know, you hear the sayings, one door closes, another one opens or not. But when you're right there in the middle of it, hard to see, hard to see the door. However, I'll have you men consider that the secret of success in life is for you to be ready for your time when it comes. Your time will come. And your time in other elements or pockets of opportunity has come and you either took it or you didn't. You're either stuck in your head or you got into your heart and your intuition and gut. And the four to five times I've suffered severe traumatic experiences in my life in family, self and service, every single one of those directly correlates towards one, I settled and stopped growing. Two, it goes hand in hand. I lacked purpose and or a vision of a higher sense of self and who I needed to grow and forge myself into. And that really, really cost me, man. You know, like really even with hpf, like where HPF is now, I could get it to this stage again in 18 months. It's taken me seven years. Like, okay, cool. That's a five and a half year ignorant or dumb tax that I've paid on life. Don't want to do that too many times, you know, a couple more five to ten year lessons. That's why having the right people around you, the right environment, that sort of stuff's critical because if I had three or four more five to eight year lessons. Cool. There's your life out. Yeah, well done, mate. You're in your 70s. Hope you achieved everything you wanted. Well, you know, I'd love another 30 years. Is that okay? No, it's not, mate. You're an organism. You can't really wind back the clock, boys. It's critical you understand this. It's such a proactive thing. Hey, don't wait for life to react to it. This is just like visualizing your goals and dreams too right. It's an amazing book. Another one I'm reading, which I'll touch on another time. Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Molt. Unbelievable. But I'll save that. There's some crazy stuff in there. But essentially you cannot manifest or even create the how until you have the what. It's impossible. It's like going in your boat, putting the rudder on. You've got a big engine and you just start steering. It's like, hang on a minute, have you charted the course yet? Where the fuck are you steering? How do you know it's the right answer. Like, think about it. Take away like law of attraction and frequencies and the way that your brain operates because it's actually, it's an autonomous machine. So you're not a machine, but you operate a machine. But remove all that for a second, Just pure logic would say, well, how do you know what the how is? If you don't have the what, of course you don't. The how could mean nothing. So what I love about this point, or both these points, secret success in life, is for a man to be ready for his time when it comes. Because it will come. You'll have opportunities, you'll have more opportunities. And they, they change in their weight and scale and rhythm and cycle of where you are in your life in that period when opportunity comes, it's too late to prepare. Both of these are very proactive terms or sayings as, hey, man, don't wait for life. If you're sitting on life, if you're sitting in your hands, if you're sitting on life itself, the beautiful gift it is, as soon as you try and stand up, it's going to put you straight back on your fucking ass. Because that's where you've been spending all your time. So that's where you've been operating the patterns, habits, routines, the frequency. So when you step up, life's like, oh, hey, I'll sit back down, mate. No, no, you want to sit down. Remember, because you spent all your time there. I'm giving you exactly what you fucking want, so sit back down. And I don't get up. And that punch in the face can come in many different ways. You've all experienced that as a. As have I. What I love about this is like, hey, don't, don't wait for life, mate. You are life. You, you are life. Like, whether you're sitting down, walking, driving, what the fuck do you think you are? Like, look at your hands, look at the skin, look at all those little hairs on your arms. Like, understand the eyes that you're using that connects in the nervous system and how that plugs into your brain, which is saying, my arm is here, those hairs are there. That road is that color. That tree is that color. That bird is making that noise. Your ears are plugged in. Like, your sensory acuity just shows you that you are life itself without you. Life is not present without the observer. It cannot exist. Not in your reality anyway. That's pretty crazy, man. Like, don't forfeit the power you have in this world. So be proactive because the Secret success in life is for you to be ready for when. And isn't it funny the irony, as soon as you're ready or you hit a certain level and there's always a lag, you know, 30, 60, 90 days. How I'm operating now in the next few months is off the back of the unbelievable catalyst of evolution that we experience in Cosi at the start of November. Oh man. Fuck. It's unbelievable. So I can't wait for that to catch up. Although I'm embodying it now, enacting it now, I am embracing and being that now. You guys would pick up from this. Go back 10 episodes, 20, 30, 50. Go back to the first episode that was ever made. Fuck, mate. Bit, bit of a different Al now. It's such a beautiful thing because you are life itself. And for you to step up and be proactive when that opportunity comes, you don't need to prepare because you already are. You are enough to capitalize on that next point. That was a solid insight. 11 and a half minutes in next point. This is a. I really like this one because this goes hand in hand with how you continually try and forge yourself forward and create who it is you choose to be. The only thing that walks back from the tomb with the mourners and refuses to be buried is the character of a man. What a man is, survives him. It can never be buried. This is Leadership 101, man. Look, I'm not infallible. Neither are you. We've all made mistakes, all made fuck ups. You know, our five core values. I'll save that for another episode. But yeah, be a man of your word. You know that. That includes honesty, integrity, commitment. Pretty important stuff. I look back at my personal life, my pop, who I'm like is doppelganger and a couple of other people who are close to me. And it's not that they've been, they've tarnished their reputation or you pay like they then they've done some beautiful things with me for me and really helped me. But there are pockets of time where you're like, ah, man, they had that in them. And again, it doesn't mean you can't. Course correct. Like I said, HBF came from my life fucking falling apart. Me about to leave my wife and child for another woman. What a fucking idiot. But if you can build and learn from that and consistently build. So if I can consistently build over 80 years and it's like, hey, here are all the little mistakes or failures Al did through growing. Here are a handful of the big fuck ups that he's made, here's what he's consistently done for like the last 45 years. Your character shines true and through even some of those downturn moments and some of those horrible points in your life that we've all had to reflect on, this is who he was and how he consistently operated. The only thing that walks back from the tomb, the only thing that comes back, gentlemen, from the grave, along with those who are all mourning your passing and can never be buried, is the character of a man who and what you are will survive your body that will pass one day. So think about that when you're looking at the integral choices and options you do have. You don't have to react, you don't have to become emotional, you don't have to become unstable in how you operate with your wife, with your children. Anything else that either proactively or subconsciously tries to trigger you and get you angry or fired up or put you into a box. Like, like I said in that first point, you have so much power. You have some. You are life. You have so much to give. Give well and give wholly give all of you, firstly to yourself and then to others you love and care about. Because such that by you doing that, your character will live on and even if your name is forgotten over the next 150, 200, 300 years. Because everyone you know and everyone I know is going to be dead when we're dead too, right? There's not a real big. There's not a real big overlap. You live to be 95, you're a great grandfather. No dramas. You've got another 95 years. And then everyone that ever knew you will be dead. However, the character is what survives and the character is what you instill in others. You know, and it's, It's a beautiful saying, you know, Legacy is not leaving something for people, it's leaving something in people. It's not what you leave for someone, it's what you leave in inside of someone, inside of someone powerful. Point men. What does your character look like? You're looking in the mirror. The good, the bad and the ugly. How does your character shape up right now? And how can you sharpen, polish, improve? Because this is the greatest thing. This isn't about slapping yourself on the wrist or getting the cat of nine tails out and whipping yourself on the back for your shortcomings. It's going, oh, wow, I can actually change my character like that. Yes, you can. And then what remains that to be true is simply consistency. Here is the track record of how I have turned up. I think that's what really leads to trust for a lot of men. There are a lot of men who, you know, I mean, we all know most of the world's full of shit and people have seen me in person, people who come to cozy or see the footage and other things. Of course, it's reassuring some of you guys listening to this podcast, one on the inside, of course, I get it. But. But over time, I mean, truth always wins, right? That will never leave my soul from the breakdown that happened in 2017. The truth always wins. But then the question is, what side of the truth are you on? Are you receiving the positive side of that truth or you getting the short end of the stick because of some not integral choices that were made? Pretty consistent, man. Aren't. I mean, of course I'm growing and evolving whatnot, but that's what I love about hpf. Not the copycats and all the other people who are trying to jump on our bandwagon, Jump on right arrow algorithms literally blatantly plagiarize and steal our, our landing pages and our booking systems and questions to the point where there's even that pig Latin on there that's on the like templates you can just download. It's. It's crazy, man. But also it's like, hey, why would I focus on that? They'll always be behind, always chasing, always chasing something. They lack the depth to inspire themselves. Modeling standards to uphold. Of course. John Maxwell's a legend of a man. And I'm quoting some of these things that no doubt he didn't fucking make up that he quoted from someone else too. And some things he did create. But the point is this. When you stay genuine and true for a consistent period of time, your character always shines through. And then if anyone has any beef against you or with you, that just highlights the mirror of them and their own insecurities, their own uncertainty and the lack of stability they have in their sense of self. Such that by not addressing themselves internally, they can take the easy path of outwardly pushing, blaming, and focusing on something else other than themselves. Character of a man. Really, really important. The next one is the heart comes before the head. You can't move people to action unless you first move them with emotion. HPF is thousands and thousands of dollars, right? If I just sat down and went, hey, man. Yep, cool, good to meet you. No, no, just shut the fuck up. You don't need to say anything. Just listen to me. This is the average Divorce cost, you're looking at $775,000. You put in a note here that you're gonna get divorced if nothing changes. Cool. This is our program. It's a hundred thousand dollars. I mean, it's not, but let's. Okay, cool. 100 grand. There you go. I'll make no brainer. Like, here you go, look, I've just saved you seven times. Even though that's probably, probably even. I mean, what, 50 something percent divorce rate? Savage, man. I heard. I'll need to get some facts to back it up, but I heard it's like 80 something percent for those in FIFO. We've got a lot of boys who reach out and we, we help them tremendously with that. I really feel for him. Tough, tough space to be in. But even then, that's a, that's a killer deal, man. That's a bargain, isn't it? But we're gamblers, right? Ah, yeah. Maybe I won't get. Maybe, maybe I won't get divorced. Maybe there's another way. In marriage counseling or something else. Or, you know, of course, of course. The heart comes before the head. You can't move people to action unless you first move them with emotion. I fucking hate the term pragmatism. And I say this with respect to even members who still believe in that. Don't coin yourself with that because pragmatism is just shoring up with. Still, unbeknownst to you, if you're unaware of it, a subconscious bias towards the data sets that you want to review and reflect on. That's going to drive a quote unquote pragmatic way of thinking, a logical process. It's a scam. It doesn't, it's, it's not. It's a non event. But anyway, I remember someone who wanted to join me. Use that as an excuse. I was like, okay, well, where's your life now, man? Like what, what fucking. How's your thinking going now? Given there's almost. Given the context of what I knew. No way you've improved. Um, or maybe you have with someone else. But it's not about HPF or a different service. It's the, it's the way of thinking. It's the mind, it's the operating system, it's the belief. So could be me. And what we do is fucking phenomenal. We're the best in this space, but it could be a second or third or tier. You'd have the same excuse. Men. Everything in this world must contain both. Of course, sometimes not having an Emotional response is an emotional response too, right. So if I need to get in robot mode, head down, fucking protect, hunt, whatever it is. Maybe with emotion, maybe without. For my family, there's threats, there's other things. Things will pop up as an organism, of course, instinctual, instinctive reactions. You know, fear, fight, flight, all those different things that our nervous system just kicks in and sometimes kicks in overdrive. You must have a balance of 2. But even with all those at play, there is, there is this, this notion that we've really hit home within hpf, which is get out of your head and into your heart. And your heart isn't necessarily like when this saying here, the heart comes before the head. It's not the heart as an organ that pumps blood around the body. It's not the heart in terms of your emotional connection to something, it's actually deeper than that. Men, it's your gut, it's your intuition. It really is. Like it's your, it's your intuition that drives the decisions in life. And your intuition both works collectively with the skill sets around the knowledge of the past. What you know, the information you have. Like they're all the, that's the mechanism of the brains, of course. And we talk about your mind or your consciousness or your gut. It's weird. I actually look at all three of those. A bit of a collective of all of them essentially is like your, your intuitive skill sets and your nature. Some of you are born with different types of intuition, sure, or different ranges, but it can also be learned by leveraging your mind, your consciousness and what you've experienced. Really important stuff. But look like if anyone was ever looking to be part of hpf, look happy to have coaches and consultations and all that sort of stuff and walk through the deliverables and process. But for me it's like, mate, do your own research. Find out as much as you can or want to or need to podcast 250 something episodes, you know, YouTube videos, six or 100 or a thousand video, like, do as much as you want, but just listen to your gut. What does your gut say? What does your intuition say? You know, all of the critics and criticisms that we cop on our ads and social media, like they're damaged men, like they're fucked up. I feel for them. Like they're just showing me, like, you don't get to where I am without being pretty fucking sharp and fast in analyzing, reviewing. And not that I'm here to be a smart ass or be, be witty and try and put people in their place. When I sell that, I'm like, fuck, so many of these men are hurting, so much pain. I can't let go. Poor fuckers. But do I pity them? Of course not. That's on them, man. Like it's choice. There's always a choice, Always. So for me, it's pretty simple, man. Like, you just trust your gut. What does your gut say? What does your intuition say? And if you're really listening to your intuition, coupled with a track record, coupled with the facts and truth of reality, and you still wouldn't see alignment with hpf, there's still at least respect. Like, there are plenty of people that I don't align with in how they operate, but there are elements of their life where I'm like, I respect that, man. There's some, some solid there, there's some very genuine stuff there, there's some work ethic there. That's a great result there. That's an unbel outcome there. I respect that. Maybe not aligned with that person in family sovereign service, but yeah, that's pretty cool there. I'm going to respect that for sure. But the point is this, man. Everything that you drive in this world, this is going to be important because I want you to listen to everything I said then and convert that into relationships. The heart comes before the head. So don't try and logically or tactically fucking outwork your missus in an argument or a conversation or discuss things, connect at her level and help her feel heard and understood and seen first. But don't just sit there either. Otherwise you just become a panda. Then clarify that and then double down on fantastic. Look, can you. Are you open and willing to see what I see as well so we can come together and have the same set of eyes? And maybe deep down there's things we don't agree with parenting terms. Relationships, intimacy, frequency of sex, other thing. But at least we know where we stand. And there's a beautiful middle ground instead of one side versus the other side. And there's this fence that's up heart. The heart, the intuition, the gut. It comes before the head. If you can't tap into that with your wife, she's going to go straight into croc brain, man. Croc brain is fight, flight, fear, threats. So if you're talking lots and lots and lots and it's boring, not connecting, not hitting home, and there's no emotional attachment or pull straight away. If it's something that your wife has to work really hard on trying to understand, boom. Croc brain that kicks in, that kicks in right away. It's like this is going to take so much brain power to pay attention here and there's a line around the corner that could chase me and I need that mental stimulus to be able to kick into gear with my legs and run the out of here. So I'm not going to tune in. Like, think about any presentation, anything. Like if I did a big presentation and became, you know, a two hour hit that was talking to you guys and was mundane, it didn't have a feedback loop and we didn't have a connection and conversations and, and there were no visual cues. And man, you, you got 20 minutes max. These podcasts are pretty cool. Like you guys might dip in and out. I doubt you would dip out of these. But even some of the ones that go for 60 minutes, like, fuck, this is some hard hitting heavy shit. So if you've got buy in and you're connected and you're emotionally invested and your gut and intuition is like, man, this is good. This is good for me. I like this stuff. Like it's energy, it's all energy. So energetic. Connection comes before the head. Like it's all vibrations and frequencies. Right? Quantum mechanics. All right, cool. Heart comes before, let's use the word heart, man. You can't move people to action unless you first move them with emotion. I'll give you some statistics. Those men who do reach out and want to join HPF. If you've listened to at least five of these podcast episodes, over 90% of you are like, man, this is a fucking given. I'm ready to take the step. And I don't have hard data on the other 10%, but I believe that may be just financial. Ben, because you've listened, you've lived from 250 episodes. If you listen to 10, 20, 30, like, man, this is amazing stuff. And there's no expectations from me. I'm not saying, hey, listen this podcast and join me. What I'm giving is value and helping society. And we'll have an HPF app one day and they'll have all these different levels and tiers and we want the reach to be millions and millions and millions. And there's. Yeah, of course there's tears. You want to be on the inner circle. Do you want to be sitting around a campfire with that, with our campfire chats and diving deep and like that? That's pretty special. You know, my time with, with my bodyguards around me is pretty protected. It's like cool. But, but also that, that's the inner circle. So this level of value giving men comes down to seeing through the eyes of others and connecting with them at a deeper level than providing that value as a father to his kids. One, two, all three of your kids would have different values or value different things, right? You want them to have similar values. You're raising the family, but they might value different things. Same with your wife. Different things at different times in different ways. This is the art and final one, boys. And we'll wrap this up. It's been a solid hours insights. Hope you've enjoyed is and this is. This is one of my favorites as well, actually. You cannot help someone else get up a hill without getting closer to the top yourself. I love that, man. Like, I feel so good doing this podcast even though I'm sitting here in the studio on my own talking to a microphone. How is this? It's evergreen. It's timeless because you're going to listen to it. You might listen to it again. A guy who's never heard of us will listen to it. One of my members has been with me for seven years might listen to it like it's just made the flow is phenomenal. I want to get you up the top of the hill because there's no way that I can't get you to the top of the hill without me being close to myself. And maybe I've gotten to the top of that hill before and I've got a beautiful view and I know how valuable it is. You've got that guster, you've got that fucking inspiration, that passion for me to go, hey man, get the up the top there. It's unbelievable. You will love it. I promise you, you'll love it. I'm going to push you. I'll carry the bags for you. I'll be your Sherpa. Get the up there and then you can breathe and you can take it all in. You cannot help someone else get up a hill without getting close to the top yourself. There's very few of you that are ultimately selfish, but also, in a way, you're operating as a martyr, which can be seen to be selfish because you're not giving the family the best of you. I'm not here to judge you for them. Just say, mate, isn't it crazy? Good intentions, right? And you're doing even worse for them by them. One of the best things you can do is to give in this world. But you've got to give from a position of strength, a position of power, a position of certainty, a position of servitude. You've got to be able to serve from a strong position of being able to serve. And that's so important, men. It really is. When I'm doing this with you guys and doing these podcasts, it's not. What is it? Those who, you know, those who need to learn, teach. I mean, that's bullshit. It's like, well, that's ridiculous. Otherwise, how you know, how can you effectively teach? I can't teach you anything, but you guys can learn. There's a bit of a difference between that. I can open the door, you walk through it, so to speak. However, by me going through these key points with you men today, it helps me remember. I don't. It's not about I need to learn this stuff. It's I need to remember this stuff so I can apply it and put it in play. It's important. I'm here to serve. I believe for the men in hbf. I love that. Cozy was phenomenal. I got two massive cold sores right away. Got a sty run down as fuck. Just completely, just completely bottom out. I've only just. This is why I'm doing this podcast now. What is it? It's a month later. I know. I did a post cosy podcast. It's probably three weeks, two and a half, three weeks since crazy, crazy, you know, moved home. Obviously heaps of other things going on. But this is life, family, self and service. But boys, I love giving from my position of being able to give the greatest possible because it helps me get back to the top of that hill with you and then it's not lonely there. And I don't like that saying it's lonely at the top. But I get that. I'm not an arrogant man in that respect. But hey, what a view to take in with others around you. You'll never get sick of it. Guys. I hope you enjoyed this episode of Owls Insights Number 3 Secret of Success in life Man. Be ready for your time because it will come and there will be another time that will come. So continue to continue to grow, continue to build, continue to be ready for when it comes. Because when opportunity comes, it is too late to prepare. The only thing that walks back from the grave is the character of a man or the character of a person, right? Man or woman, the character of someone, it can never be buried. What a man is, survives him because you live on. Think about it. When your family have a memory of you, they are literally recreating that. The nervous system knows no difference. That's non discriminatory. Your nervous system and your brain does not know the difference between a lived experience in the moment and an experience that is created through vivid imagination. That's psycho cybernetics. That's incredible. So by your children closing their eyes and visualizing a memory they had with you, it's actually alive. It is real. It's actually happening. Might be a different timeline, but it's actually happening. And it's happening again. That's some crazy shit. That's awesome. That's incredible. That's why your character is so important. Heart comes before the head. It really does. When you want to drive action, drive people and move them and influence them. The level of leadership is how much you influence someone. Nothing more. Nothing lends. And leadership influence, not just social influence or negative influence, like leadership towards a positive outcome to create behavioral change. That's what leadership is. You're creating behavioral change. You're instilling in others. That's leadership. That's influence. Proper influence. And you cannot help someone get up the hill without getting closer to the top yourself. Take it, guys. Hope you have an amazing day or night, wherever you are. Above all else, draw a few gold nuggets from this and apply them immediately. Because the value in this is not the words that are spoken and the triggers that have unlocked inside of your head, your brain. The value is the reality you can now go forth with and create from what you've just listened to for the last half an hour. Take care, guys. I'll see you in the next one. Cheers.
