Thank you again for spreading the love. Much respect the five Absolutes to live an extraordinary life. Gentlemen, you will need to be patient with me today. I may not speak as fast as I normally do. So for all of you who put it on 1.5x and 2x, you might need to put it on 3x. Overcoming a pretty tough, pretty rough actually still living through it right now. Ear infection. For the first time ever, I swam 1500 meters, so it was an hour straight of swimming. So for those of you who are swimmers, yes, that's double the time of probably a reasonable swimmer. Pretty ordinary stuff at best. And yeah man, it's really not me for six. It's. It's a horrible feeling. And what I didn't realize is when you go into your inner eardrum and you have a real look on the inside, it actually almost sits behind your eyes. That's where like the actual innards, the inside part of your ear is. So when you think about an ear infection, it's like, oh, you look at the physical element that's the outside attached to your head, it's like no, it goes deep in that. So man, I will do my best though it's been far too long. Love the podcast we did with crystal heaps of things in the pipeline. Would love for some of you who've been longtime listeners to ye get out of our fucking seats, shake some hands and meet each other in the flesh and do some great work together that'll set you up for 20, 25 and beyond, boys. Bit under the weather, but I'm gonna push through on this reason why there's so much value I want to give you through these five absolutes. These five absolutes are actually the HPF values. Look, we're not some sort of corporation with a $10,000 plaque that just has some bullshit mission statement. And we don't care about people or what we do, we just want money. These values really matter to us. Like when you hear them, they're very proactive. It's not just words like int discipline or you know, and I've got nothing against that either. Of course we have a vision, we have a mission statement and we've got values, but we don't use them in a PC type fashion, so to speak. So these five absolutes, they really are like, like a law. And I treat them as such. For myself personally, I'm not infallible, you know, I'm not perfect. And it's a constant work in progress. It's a constant realignment, realignment. I really see these, I see these values as like a compass to go, well look, this is, this is the way to my true north. If I live one or two, the compass isn't really going to be working that well. Like it's not, you know, three, four. Look, I got, I got a rough idea of where that next peak, that next mountain, L 4.0, 5.0, 6.0 is. But when you line up all five shit man, it's like, it's like laser focus. Here we are, game on. We're ready to rock and roll. I was going to split them into five separate ones, but I don't think they're going to take that long to explain. Would love to give insights into all of them and share them with you however, you know, the owl's insights, I think are for different types of topics and one liners and other things that come to mind. This, this is an important piece that I wanted to put together. So sorry Adam, our CEO who said Ali should split it into five sessions. I've gone the other way, mate. That's what makes you and me work so well together, boys. Let's dive on into it. So, going to go through these five values. I see them as absolutes, as laws. Look like all things, take it or leave it. If you don't agree with some of the stuff you see or hear, you know, I really 1 commend you for thinking for yourself, but 2 would ask you to just explore your thoughts even if you agree or even when you agree with some of the principles, philosophies, things that I share with you. Why is that? Why is what Al's saying cutting through to the core of me? Where is the value? Where is the sustenance and depth that has me going, yes, nodding my head, where are the other points? I'm like, you know what, I'm not too sure. Are there rooms to explore or expand on that? Is it a story inside my head? Is there something I can. I'm not claiming to have all the answers, but is there something else sharing with me that just rubs me up the wrong way? Is there room to move and grow in that space? Probably. I'm a massive panda at heart, I believe for these men on the inside with hpf. But essentially when I'm calling direct lines on you being a fucking panda and pushover where you probably shouldn't be, there's real value inside of exploring the energetic expression that is not ideal or conducive to what your wife may necessarily want. And ultimately, in a weird enough way, a lot of the times when we're safe just staying on this example as being a panda, adopting that energy, it's typically through complacency or a lack thereof, stepping up, leading and making decisions. Now look, I get exhausted every day. I work hard in family, self and service. So do you. Well, I'm guessing you do anyway because you're listening to the podcast. But you know, like, it doesn't take away the fact that there are times where we have a dip in energy, but also it's important to lead. So when I'm. When I'm doing, like, ads where I'm pretending to be two people and that, like, sometimes we need that. That metaphorical punch in the face or that mirror to be held up. And one thing that I've always said from the start, and I'll continue to say, is if I'm holding a mirror up to you, I'm holding it like, I'm holding it with you. I'm holding it and standing next to you on, hey, man, let's have a look. Let's have a look inside and see what we can do. I just need you to know that I'm not throwing a fucking mirror at your face. I'm saying, hey, man, like, let's have a look at some things. Because you know what? You know what I see in that mirror, I see myself too. So when I'm showing you the mirror, it's your mirror and it's my mirror as well. There's real value to that. I think that's what makes me the best in this space, you know, and that's not arrogance's track record and results and feedback loops from. From the marketplace and. And members and trusted clients. Not my opinion. And it's because of the devotion and. And the. The obsession and passion that I have with this. It really is. There's heaps of shit in HPF I don't fucking like doing, but there. There's a deeper purpose that. That drives this mission, and I'm humbled to be part of it. But, look, enough with that. I want to dive into these five values, man, just before I do that as well. I know I spoke about the live events, but, man, if you have not seen the Cozy documentary, do yourself a favor and look at that. Now, I don't have a link. It's. It's all different letters and numbers, so I can't give you that off the top of my head. But, yeah, just go into our YouTube channel and it's. It's right there. It'll be the first video see, it'll be the cozy 3.0 documentary. I did a little short one, which was like eight minutes, you know, I did that myself with software I'd never used, and, you know, in half a day. And it's pretty awesome, but it's nothing compared to this. And it will blow you away. It will just show you that. What it will show you is the heart and soul of hpf and really what we represent, our goal this year we're looking at taking over as much of Thread Bow as possible is to look to have. I mean, we will sell out again, but last year we'll capped at 60. But to look to have anywhere between that sort of 170 to 200 mark, it's going to be massive. Al, how are you going to do it? Don't worry, I'm not an idiot and ignorant to the fact that there's going to be more mechanical. Sorry. So more mechanisms involved, more people, more moving parts which we've already been planning since December. Funky enough. Straight after Cosi 3.0 like. All right, Cosi 4.0. How are we going to make this work so that not so many members miss out this time? We've got a good crew of 500 odd med now on the inside. It's pretty special. Check out that documentary. It'll blow you away and it'll really show you the heart and soul of HPF and what we do. And if you're new ish or unsure of hpf, I think that'll answer a lot of questions for you as well as possibly coming to the live event. All right, eight minute intro. Let's get cracking on into it. Bo. So these five values, these five ways of living, what's the origin? Where did it come from? Essentially, it stemmed out of many years. Look, there are core principles like the Viking, the Panda and the Chief. There are founding principles like family, self and service. We call them our. It's cos. Our circles of significance. They're the only three things that make your life inside of that. Of course, that splits off a little bit. You know, with family you've got your partner and your children. With self you've got your capacity and skills. With service you've got paid and unpaid. Right. Community or charity work. And obviously business. We're all businessmen, regardless of whether you own a company or not and exchange of value in the marketplace. Fantastic. Love it. Awesome. These core values were really born off the back of trial and error and testing. Lots of things that had me look at going, what were all the things that I wasn't doing? So what were the points that I wasn't upholding? Where was I missing the mark that led to my life becoming a big shit show at the back end of 2016, moving into 2017, which is when the rupture came with my wife and I and my life fell apart. You know, what, what wasn't I doing? Okay, so what was I doing? Of course, you know, we can invert that so you Were doing this, you're doing that, you didn't have integrity here. You know, there are all different points of value. Focusing on the wrong things, making assumptions like, okay, I can invert that and look to the opposite, but I don't want 20 or 30 values and code words. So what were the core things that I, that I have done well, over the years that has led to me having little peaks of success, be it family, self and service, professional, personal, sport, business, health, body, family, relationships, children, fatherhood and leadership. What were the things that I did that were destroying that? So definitely don't do them. Is there a correlation between the opposite of the bad things and the great things I did? Is there a place where they joined together? And over the years it became a little bit of a. I was just moving around. There were 10 values. There was eight, then there was 12. Back to 10. They were just keywords like respect and teamwork. And I think that's more of a code more often than not. Like those old 10 values, they were great, they're fantastic. Love them. But I think that was more of a code to operate with inside of an organization. So I really love them and we've still got them. But these five values I really nutted out last year, so we've had this for a while now and nutted it out and went, what are the least things inside of my life that can lead to the greatest success and rewards? And that's what I want to share with you guys here. Hence the title being the five absolutes to live an extraordinary life. Or at least that's what I've got in my head before I post this. It might change. That's what I want to share with you, man. That's where it came from. It came from me looking and going, what are the only few things that matter? Because I get it, man, everyone's garnering your attention. The world's full of shit and distraction and sedation and there's all these different points of people trying to get your attention. I don't want to overwhelm you. I don't want to overload you. The time for just talking lots of words has all but come to an end. It's why, whilst I enjoy talking, busted ears and all, I feel like the right ear is getting worse now as well. To put drops in both just to be safe. It really is about modeling the actions and then converting that into terminology that just makes sense with as least words as possible. Hey, look at this guy and look at the results. He's got this is what he's done and how, like, there's enough squiggly lines in life from A to B as it is. That's what life is. Let's get some fucking arrows. Let's get some straight lines. So clear, concise, direct, straight to you. And it makes sense. So be a man of your word. Take ownership, Perform with excellence. Seek growth, love and joy. Go all in, stay all in. That's it. That is it. Men, they are the five core values. They are the five absolutes, the five key points. If you uphold that, if you look at that like a star or your compass for your true north. If you uphold that, that and embody that and action, that like, they're actionable words. Every single day, as much as you can, all five. Every day. I promise you, hand on my heart, on my soul. Like, you can't. You can't lose. You just can't. You can't lose. I look at those five, I'm like. And. And I'm always like, trust you. Might be, you know, you might be blown away. You might be impressed. You might. Might love them. My memory, how I can collect things, how I can communicate them, how fast I can be. I'm pretty witty and on point. Get me in other industries, maybe not. But in this one, of course, I'm dedicating my life to this. Awesome, sure. But shit, man, when you look at things that might impress you through how I talk, I use that same other side of the coin, that same pathway to become cynical and pessimistic with my own principles, values, and beliefs. So trust me when I say this, anything that I promote and push towards you, I've tried as hard as I can to fucking cut it to pieces. Not through. Through a fear of trying to protect myself towards your opinions or viewpoints, because I want to make sure what I actually give you has depth and has longevity. I don't want to be. There's so many people there, especially some of our, like, competitors or. Not that I see them, see them as competitors as such, but a lot of people who try and copy and steal a model and take a. Like, they're changing every two weeks. Like, I never want to be that person where, yeah, I'm all in. Carnivore is the way. It's just like, hey, man, how's everything going? Oh, yeah, no, you know what? I found some new research and honey's good for you. And I've had like. Like, with respect to Paul Saladin, I was like, fuck, mate, I bought your book and I read it. And it's. And it just absolutely ridicules and criticizes fruit. And all of a sudden you're there having big papayas and honey and drinking milk, and I'm like, wow, that's a big change. So I don't know if this is the right word, but I'm really against people who create dogmas and then change them. So, man, anything I promote to you, please understand. I try as hard as I can to disprove it. I try to find holes, I try to find problems, areas, weak points that cut apart, not so that I can put something out where I'm protected and I don't get shown up by yourself. I've got no problem with being wrong. Like those who are the most successful are the wrong the most and make the most values. But so I can give you some things that you can actually apply and know that you know what, what Al is promoting, he's actually embodying. And these five laws, so to speak, these five values, man, I'm embodying this for life. I don't need anything else. I don't need or want more. I don't need a sixth value. So that's it, boys. Hope you enjoyed this episode. I'll see you in the next one, but let's. I ripped into it pretty quick and gave you the five, but I just wanted to really emphasize why there's only five and why they are worded the way they are. And even. Not that the order matters, but even the way that they're laid out. Be a man of your word. Take ownership, perform with excellence. Seek growth, love and joy. Go all in and stay all in. People say the hardest parts are start. No way. No way you can start anything. The hardest part's like that 13 to 40% mark where you haven't really yielded the fruit, but your ball's deep in the actions. You've invested time and energy you'll never get back, and you're facing resistance and hurdles and roadblock and you've overcome maybe the beginner's luck that got you out of the gates quickly, who knows? But that's why I love the A goal in. What does that mean? Like what? Once, twice. When you. When you. Like. There is. There is absolute power behind words. Make no mistake, it is. It is a real energy. So you've got to be very clear on what it is that you adopt inside of your head, your heart, your soul, and how you're going to apply it, which is why they are worded exactly the way that they are. I Don't sit down for 15 hours constructing, you know, is it goal in and remain all in? Let's look up the word, stay on a thesaurus and goal in and consistently be all in. Or like, I don't sit down for 20 hours trying to figure out the best wording, but it's like, keep it simple, go all in and stay all in. But when you put all that together, they all enhance and complement each other. It's inside of our journals, which are epic, by the way. But I do talk about that and expand on it. I don't need the journal to read from. I mean, these are values that I embody. But I want to walk you through these five values and just give you some depth and some meat to that bone. So you can go, you know what, I can take this and run with it. Oh, there's actual sense and there's value towards, towards me adopting this. And maybe you'll have eight values, maybe you'll only have two. I don't know. I'm just sharing with you a way of life that's helped thousands of fathers, a way of life that's helped me through all the turbulent times and chaos and trauma, actually step up and become a greater man every single year that comes, every single time. You know, turning, turning 40 this year, man, Pretty crazy, right? Got some, got some big goals. One of those. It's going to be tough to be fitter at 40 than I was at 30. I was an international athlete. But I'll try my best. But yes, yes, do or do not, there is no try. I get it. But I'm looking forward to, you know, as I enter my 40s, actually, you know, just entering this already in the second half, the age has dropped to 78. But really looking forward to building where it's like, ah, I'm 40. No, no, it's. Hey, man, I'm 40. I'm 50, I'm 55. What is possible? What's next? It's having that upbeat energy and going well. The more experienced and wiser I become as I look after my body and my health, the more I have to give. And that game keeps changing. I'm really excited for that, actually. Can't wait. But you know what, boys? I want to dive into these values. What that also means that I'm turning 40 is I'm getting closer to people actually listening, going, al knows his shit now. It's so funny when I used to be concerned about when I was younger being too young for this stuff, but I'm like, hang On a minute. If I'm painting the picture of a 54 year old's life better than he is because I've worked with over 2,050 plus year olds and he's only living one life, why wouldn't there be value to, to, to share and to promote and to help him lead his own journey, which is what we have on the inside. I love the old bulls, man. I really enjoy working with them. They teach me so much. They teach me so much like I'm simply a conduit of HPF and what we embody, you know, and that that's what I love most. Age doesn't matter. But I know with every year that changes since, you know, starting this at 32 years of age. Wow. So much changes too. You know, it's like that saying wise men, mistakes or not. A wise man or smart man learns from his own experiences and, or mistakes. A wise man learns from others. The best of all learns from both being in the arena himself, but being in the arena around great men that he can really just. Just good men to run with who really want to get the most out of life. I feel like that's what's really accelerated my wisdom. I feel blessed at 39 to you know, essentially have an outlook and the ability and performance that would supersede most double my age. And that's not to discredit the lives that people have lived. It's just unfortunately man. So people are dead and buried. They just, you know, haven't. They're just not in the, you know, they're just not in the cemetery yet. I'm talking about spiritually and, and mentally and emotionally already dead and buried. They just haven't, haven't breathed the last breath yet. That, and that's, that's, that's a, you know, if that's what they want, great. But for me that's tough. I just can't, I just can't accept that. It's why you, you'll see that how much I change and, and this obsession for growth. It's why these values are so important. It really is. So let's dive into it. Value number one, be a man of your word. Does life get in the way like this ear infection where. Yeah, I'd get back to you but I haven't sent you that message three days ago. Of course that stuff happens. Like I said, I'm not perfect. Hard to give you word and then life changes. Right? But also what is the difference between someone giving their word towards some sort of dedication or commitment and Then changing that word without any real justifiable reason other than their own stories in their head, what's the difference between that and a liar? Well, fuck all. And that's the hard part. Like, say men want to join HPF and then they change their mind. It's like, well, hang on a minute. Like you've given your word and now you're going back on your word. Now for me, giving my word on getting back to someone and then being bedridden for three days, that's a little bit harder. It's a little bit different. So where is the gray in between? It's a tough one, isn't it, man? It's why this law is so important though, because for someone changing their mind with hpf, that doesn't like our life doesn't. If one more man joins hpf, HPF doesn't really change, but that man's entire world changes. His entire world. I mean, watch that documentary. See for yourself. Crazy. So what's really important about being a man of your word is addressing the stories that come in and really pulling them apart and going, what part of these stories are fabricated to keep me in a place of comfort, either through the egoic self or to limit or restrict. This is why they're all important. Growth, love and joy in my life. This is why all of the values interlink, it's so important, but it'll all click for you if it hasn't already. And what parts of me making mistake, falling short or missing the mark are real? Like I said, being a man of my word is something I try and uphold as much as possible. That's huge. For me. Personally, I wouldn't even care about contracts. I'd be more than happy to. Old school. Shake hands or on. Game on. And I've done that before and I still do that. I've been burned before. In other times, beautiful things have happened and they've happened quickly because we haven't gone lost in all the nitty gritty and the bullshit of, you know, of obviously legislation or legal matters that sometimes make it muddy and messy and complicate things. And so I love that. But what's really important is at the core of you. You're a man of your word. Now, if you're worried that you can't uphold the word that you would like to give, then don't give it. Hey, Kryn, look, I'd love to support you this afternoon with the children and help you here, here and here. However, I've got commitments with work. I can't Give you my word. I can't give you a guarantee that I'm going ready at 4 o' clock to be able to help you with the kit, but maybe I can be. But I don't want you to count on that. What I can do though is I can take off tomorrow morning and support you with the children or start work a little bit later. I can assist you there and help with X, Y and Z. Like you can always reposition and replace certain commitments. Men. But what's hard for most of us as men is we just want to provide. We want to do the right thing. We want to be the martyrs and we sacrifice ourselves. But the worst part is in the process, through stretching ourselves thin and over committing, sometimes we sacrifice those around, around us and then we get, we get the short end of the stick. We cop the flak for it. It's like you said you would do this. I'm sure you guys have experienced it before. I'm like, ah, this is crazy. I made this commitment to Corinne and the kids to help them out and now I'm getting in trouble for something I shouldn't have said yes to, but I said yes to. It sucks, doesn't it? It's like, man, oh, there's such that some of the worst things in the world have been built off the back of good intentions and or over committing. So be a man of your word. And this is where the chief energy is very important because sometimes people won't like the word that you give. You know, I can't help you here, but I can help you there. Let me know if that works. If it doesn't, it is what it is and I'm okay with you not being okay with that. I'd be doing you a disservice if I stretched and overreach and tried to please you at the cost of myself. That's really, really important. So boys, when it comes to being a man of your word, it's critical that you, that you really analyze what the word is that you're looking to the, the, the execution looks like for that. Like, is it something you can factor in time and energy? You have the skill sets to do. Is the deadline appropriate? Like it's not, it's not making a logical point out of every commitment you make. Especially in relationships. But more often than not, two things happen. One, we over commit and we give our word where we shouldn't and we fall down. Two, we're full of and we lie and we say things that aren't actually true and do not live like this first value, and that's that' obviously. I really hope you guys aren't in that way inclined. That second one, Jesus, man. That's the reason why the world's a big shitstorm. You gotta move away from that. Try as much as you can. The more truth and honesty you live with, the more successful you'll be. So when I look at this first one, be a man of your word. Integrity, honesty, commitment. They can't exist without you being a man of your word. So either one, people lie and they gloss over on it because he who controls the focus controls the direction, right? So if I do something bad and I'm a liar, but then I'm fucking focusing on something else right away, I just put it in the back of the brain, just bank it. Don't worry about that. Let's focus on something else. Right? It's just misdirection, right? If you're leading an argument or a conversation with someone, you can redirect. Misdirect. Like when you're controlling the frame and shifting what to focus on. This is an important skill, for sure. Sometimes it'll help you help your wife or your children or people you love and care about break out of their own bullshit. Okay, cool. I understand. I appreciate you. Thank you for sharing that. But hang on a minute. That's leading down a path that isn't ideal. Tell me about this. Boom. Of course, it's a valuable leadership skill. Skill that can drive influence and better outcomes. However, being a liar and then sugarcoating it, or white lies or glossing over or just, you know, it's. It's like the ultimate form of hypocrisy, man. You've got to be so careful with that, guys. Even good intentions, you've got to be very careful with either. Protecting people's feelings doesn't mean you need to bring up all truths. Like, I might have a dream and there's some woman I don't even know that's in my dream and she's trying to like pull my pants down or some like, it's weird shit happens. I don't control that. It's like, okay, am I going to tell Corinne every single nitty gritty? I mean, she can listen to this podcast and I've shared that with before. I was like, ah, I felt like shit. I woke up this morning, there's this dream where this, this woman was just trying to fucking put it on me. Like, what? That's. I don't need to tell her all in a degree. I Don't like, you don't need to bring up all truths inside of your life. But truth and honesty come together when you're looking at displaying level of leadership that actually matters and means something to someone, like filling her head with something. I don't control over some sort of dream that I've had that is simply a dream that comes once or it might come. It may be like it's. I don't know about you guys, but yeah, randomly I'll get dreams like that maybe a couple of times a year. And people say dreams are the gateway to the soul, blah, blah, blah. I get all that. But man, I've had some crazy dreams. I don't know about you, but I've had some crazy dreams. I don't do drugs or anything or. But I've had crazy dreams about flying all over the world and having weird superpowers and then, you know, horrific horrendous nightmares and you're like, who can, who, who can control that? If you can, kudos to you. But I can't. They're random. Sometimes they're connected to real life stuff, but most of the time, 99% of the time, they're random. So being a man of your word and living with honesty, integrity and truth and being committed really comes down to your level of leadership to go, you know what, like, what's going to be the best outcome for everyone in what I say I can do and follow through on, on the way I can influence, share information and drive the best outcomes for them as well as myself so everyone wins. And also move away from either white lies or padding or protecting things or withholding stu, doing things that aren't integral and acting like a hypocrite rules for me but not for thee. And then trying to force or uphold that where deep down, even though my memory has forgotten because I've pushed it away and tried to ignore it, deep down in my core, yeah, I'm a fucking liar and hypocrite, man, because I'm not following through. I'm expecting this. And what are my expectations of others if I'm not even upholding that standard myself? So expand a little bit on that one, boys. But that first value is like, it's crazy critical. It really is. Be a man of your word. Why? Because one, too often people lie and then just try and dismiss it as a lie. Or two, they try and over commit and they can't follow through on their word and they let everyone down, including themselves. Both of those are dangerous places to be. I hope that made sense and was clear for you guys. Of course there's grays, like I mentioned, with either dreams or other crazy experiences or things that happened. And. And really the reason why I wanted to share that is to help you just dissect what is the most valuable way for me to live with integrity and truth and honor that is going to have the best outcome for all that isn't necessarily hiding, but is actually driving the actions and outcomes that I want for myself, my family. Because I'm very transparent in how I operate with what I can commit to and the word I can give. But that example I gave is just off the back of honesty and truth. What truth should we share? Our how come? Like, how do we know this gray area in between that is a man of my word? Well, having a weird dream like that is nothing to do with being a man of your word. It's about what are the points of information that you're sharing that actually matter and mean something to those you love and care about that is also going to drive forward motion in your life and your experiences that aren't necessarily connected to something you control in real time with your consciousness that you know deep down it doesn't have integrity. Like, and go as far as hard as doing drugs, having affairs, all these things your wife doesn't know about. About. Big difference, right? Big difference between commitment, integrity, loyalty, honor as a man and being a man of your word that brings up appropriate truths and points of leadership to help those around him. That was a bit of a segue, a bit of a bit of a side tangent. But this stuff matters, right? Because I like to share some of these things with you men, which really gets you thinking outside the box as well. But when cut to the core, be a man of your word, don't fucking lie, don't over commit where you can't, and uphold that word and follow through on it. Of course there's variances and you've got to adjust sometimes. I might give you a word on this, but over time, before that word comes to execute on, things have changed. And there's a better way. If there's a better way, more optimal way, I'll change your game plan. Hey, man, I know I said I was gonna chat to you for an hour, but I can only give you half an hour now. Is that okay? Half an hour now, half an hour next week. But what I found is through this half an hour here, because you filled out that form for me, I can work out this game plan for you and I can dial this, this, and in for you. We actually don't need an hour, and I can help you. Are you okay with that? Is that all right? Yes or no? Fantastic. Like, if there's forward and there's buying from both parties or parties that are involved. Unreal. Like, you're still following through on the word that you've given. It's just that the logistics of how you're gonna deliver on that have changed slightly. That's a real thing. Like, life isn't so black and white. Like, why would you follow through? We're building a HPF app. It's gonna be fucking unbelievable. Why am I gonna build an app for two or three years and then roll it all out to you? We're gonna build an MVP minimum viable product, and then off the back of that, we're gonna get the marketplace feedback from you. What do you actually want in the app? What do you need in the app? So instead of me saying, no, I'm a man of my word, I'm gonna give you the HBF app. And here you go. You don't have to think. It's like, nah, man. Like, this is what I want to follow through and give you. What's the point behind the word I've given and the outcome of that word I've given? But what are the different variances that are going to come into play where we can work together as a team to make sure the outcome is still achieved? Like, when you're giving your word, what you're really doing is committing to an outcome you'd like to achieve. The how may change for that, but as long as you maintain, like I said, integrity, commitment, and honesty. Honesty, your word will always be solid. Takes me to the next one. Take ownership, fellas. It's, you know, it's really tough in the world with so much happening to us, so much happening around us for us to. To maintain this value. I get it. We can look at all different touch points on this term. Toxic masculinity, the. The manipulated rise of feminism unnecessarily in the wrong areas, you know, seeking equality. I think there can be the difference. There's a difference between equality of value and equality of output. You know, there's no way my wife will be able to physically perform the way that I can, ever. So by default, there is no equality in the output. There never will be. However, there can be equality and value in what we provide individually to each other, to society. Like, look at this, right? None of you men would be here listening to this if it wasn't for my 90 year old grandmother who's still alive today. Yeah, so there's plenty of equality of value there in my nan was the reason why I exist on this. And my mother, obviously I'm just going further down the chain where isn't that crazy? You know, the opportunity to be here and serve you all is built off the back of a woman. So I get, get that it's a tough world or lots of their variables. Did a post and talking about, you know, being, being a leader of the household, the husband, father, it's more than just providing. And there was a guy and I feel sorry for him, but he essentially said, oh, that's, you know, with the cost of inflation and rise of this and that, blah, blah, it's impossible. Women are entitled. And it's just all victim. Like he's just a complete victim. And I feel for him, man, because I can already see, I've done this long enough and spoken to enough people. You know, even with the ads and the criticism we cop, I can already see where they're at. I already know where they're at. And that victim mentality, I gotta tell you boys, it will cut you to pieces. And I hope he likes HPF and he's connected and he listens to this podcast. I'm not gonna name him or anything, but shit, man, like, I get it, like inflation's fucking ridiculous. You know, even when you look at politics, it's two wings of the same bird. You know, I bought into all that bullshit and all those games years ago, but it's at what cost me engineering and navigating my own destiny. Inflation. Yeah, I get that. Well, become more fucking valuable to the marketplace. Develop your skill set. Stop saying so. One fucking minded and putting all your eggs in one basket. If you've done that, well, then maybe you need to readdress and upskill yourself. Maybe you thought you had security like my wife did when Covid hit where she was a teacher for the det. And you're set for life. As soon as you're in with the government and working, you got a job for life. And all of a sudden it's like, hey, you gotta take a fucking jab if you wanna keep your job. I'm like, wow, that's changed. So the four walls of reality that you think is secure and stable for you, it doesn't ex the most safest bet. You are the most stablest and securest investment you will ever fucking have in this world. You cannot adopt from that mentality of being the prize yourself. And developing yourself without taking ownership. That's why this second value is so important. It is so valuable. Like, you've got to take ownership, man. I get it. Like, cost of living on that stuff goes through, like, yeah, of course that affects us. It affects everyone. Why? Because there's more money I could have spent somewhere else where I now. But why don't you do something about it instead of sitting back on your fucking hands and going, oh, well, this is the problem, this is the problem, this is the problem. Women are entitled. Inflation, blah, blah. It's impossible, you know, and working all day is just not enough. I'm like, why are you working all day? I don't work all day. I mean, if you guys are listening to this, look, you might be fifo Dido, you might, you know, you might be traveling internationally, you might run your own business, you might not. You might be an executive source. But yeah, if you're working all day, all the time, it's coming the cost of somewhere else. Well, I mean, that's something you've accepted, that's something you've tolerated, but why don't you do something about it? Have there been pockets over the last eight years of me grinding in hpf? Of course they have. But family, self and service, my life is extremely balanced. It's not measured through time, it's measured through impact. That's what balance is like. The term balance means an equal weight and distribution of load. Well, what is the load? You know, people define it as time. Why would you? Man, I train three days a week. My chest is sore as fuck. I train three days a week and that, that's it. Walk all the other days. You don't have to. What I'm saying is I don't have to spend six hours a day for myself, six hours for my family, six hours at work and six hours sleeping. Why would I do that? Why would I spend six hours on myself? I don't need to. The majority of my time is spent serving you men, serving the world. It's the circle of service, without a doubt. However, I have developed the skills and capacity to be able to be high performing as an organism. The circle of self with the skill sets, which is capacity and skills to then plug into my family, the circle of family to connect and have deep, deep, meaningful impact with my wife and my children. The only reason I got to this position, men from a boy who had nothing, grew up next to Mount Druitt, is took ownership. And it wasn't always that way. Here I am running out first grade Debut or first grade trial match? Sorry for the Dragons running out, hooking in tackles. Ten minutes in the game. Got a hospital pass from. From our 5, 8. And I was off the tap for penalty. Who's juggling? Juggling. Passed it at me last minute. I caught it bang, got crunched. We're playing the Bulldogs. Kn. Done. 10 minutes in first grade trial. Season gone. That's it. Done. Man, I was sitting there going, I've put all this work and I've done it. I left Penrith, I left my hometown, my team there, the Panthers. I came here and this is all like. There were plenty of times where I pointed the finger. We crossfit running businesses. My wife and my marriage broke down. Plenty of times. Plenty of times. It's probably been only realistically, the last sort of three years probably, that I've really stepped up and taken ownership. And so much so that even in the last 18 months, really taken ownership. If something my team does wrong, my fault, something with a customer or member, my fault. Like anything I look at that, I'm like, there is something connected to me. If it's part of my sphere of influence and in my circle, I must take ownership. Hey, guys, you didn't follow through on this. We didn't achieve our targets, our goals here, or this member Mrs. Or that happened there, or this happened there, or the member, like, any of that. Hey, look, it's on me. I obviously wasn't the leader I needed to be to provide the platform to give you the structure and the tools to be able to execute properly in this area. Same with my wife, same with my kids. You know, Roman tries to wipe his ass and there's shit everywhere. Hey, that's on me. What did I do to teach him? Like, I gotta tell you, it's not about control, but if you can. If you can adopt that mentality. Well, hang on a minute. Why would I get upset with Roman wiping his ass and there's shit everywhere? Who's taught? How many times has he wiped his bum? He's four years of age. What have I done to train him? What have I done to show him? What have I done with patience, with. Sorry. With patience and persistence to be able to show him the path, show him the way and reassure him that it's okay, son, you're going to make mistakes. We get up and we go again. And that's like, that's a real approach. Like, why would I get upset at my children for trying to wipe their bum? And they miss the mark. Like, obviously, it's an Inconvenience, Yeah, there's shit everywhere. I got to help, but I didn't get upset about it. Even when I discipline. Every time I discipline my children, you know, whether it's bedtime or they're playing up for MoW or not, I always, when I walk away, smile, shake my head, laugh to myself like, I express the energy they need. I take ownership over the situation. I reorganize the conditions as a leader of the household. And then I walk off detached and not absorbing or consuming that. That my ego says, hey, it's their fault or they did this or they messed that up, man. When you take ownership, I promise you, you get so much more control back over the areas of your life. So much more freedom, such better leadership. It's really, really important. You might have a pity party, sure. But guess what? If you're hosting that party, you're also sending out the invites. You're the one who turns the lights on and off. Have a very short party. Be very selective on who you include. Invite and cut it short. Right? Run your party. Have your five minutes. Have your five hours. Okay, cool. Is that serving me anymore? Laying on my deathbed? Does this really matter? Okay, pull back to center. Take ownership. What can I now do about it? You won't always be able to control what's happening to you and around you, but you'll always be able to control your perceptions or the decision and choices you make off the back of those perceptions or reactions or feelings or emotions. You can always separate yourself and your consciousness into a third party view and go, wow. Al is feeling really angry and irritated that he's got an ear infection right now. Now, which off the back of him just trying to be fit and healthy and reach milestones with swimming has really impacted him. But what can Al do about it that can move him forward and create the best outcome for everyone, given that he's never going to get January 2025 back ever again. Cool. And I will sit in that. And when it hit me, I felt angry and irritated all day. But guess what? I can still sit in that. I can be like, you know what? I'm going to feel irritated and angry all day and feel like shit. And I'm still going to produce, I'm still going to to win. And I don't mind. It's okay if I have that feeling. It's all right. Like, I don't really have anxiety, guys. But every, every now and then it's like that butterflies like I'm about to enter a fight or punch Someone in the head. Like, it's that feeling of going to war. Not very often. It just. It's just random. It's just. It's just random. Can everyone feel depressed? Sure. Can everyone have depression? Well, maybe that's a choice. I don't know. Maybe just outwork it, maybe outrun it. I'm not quite sure. But have I felt depressed in the past? Yes. Have I felt anxious in the past? Yes. Like, you know, I've gone through 39 years of life with lots of ups and downs. But the reality is, like, even that point there where, like a couple of times a year, I'll just randomly get anxiety and not very often at all. And I sit there, I'm like, I've got this feeling, but I'm consciously aware enough. And I take ownership over the situation of the day to go. Even with this feeling, this day's gonna be even more important. It's gonna matter even more. Cause even with this feeling, I'm still gonna produce, I'm gonna perform, and I'm gonna win. And that means that no matter what happens to me or however I feel, I always have have the right of way. I always have the final call on what I'm going to do about the situation, boys. That's the value of taking ownership. The equal opposite, that is own nothing, right? You'll own nothing and you'll be happy, like Claus, Schwab, and every other fucking person's trying to do. Whether that's just to stir people up or not. Who knows? The world could end in two years. But the reality is this. When you go away from victimhood in pointing the finger at others, you get your power back. I get cut off all the time when I'm driving. There are people doing the wrong things and whatnot. And either cutting off, you know, not indicating, and changing lanes, like. And I just look at that, and the very first thing I say to myself is, I can't believe this controls people's emotions. I actually laugh. I actually leverage what the most of the world does in getting fucking angry and road rage. And I look at it, I'm like, I can't actually believe people get upset about this. Here's this stranger that I may never ever see in again. See again. I don't even know what they look like. They're just in a car that's just done this action in front of me. And it's something that, if I wasn't aware, could have possibly led to an accident or is inconvenient because they've pushed in Front of me. Me. How. What, what does that say for me as a man to allow something like that to control and influence me? Like that's, that's worse than that. It's almost like a childlike reaction or nature. In fact, it's probably even worse. At least it's justified, where they're trying to find their way in the world when they're 1, 2, 3 years of age and establish their position. I look at that and I just laugh. I'm like, ah, is what it is. Someone will cut the me off. Yeah, is what it is. Yeah. I don't need to react. I'm still in. I'm, you know, someone hit me and there's an accident. Oh, mate, look, that was unfortunate. It's disappointing that obviously you didn't see that I was there and you've merged into and hit my thing. But I guess all we can do is focus on moving forward and do something about it. Okay, let's exchange details. Let's get the cars fixed and move on. Like, it's not that I'm numb. I'm one of the most passionate, emotionally energetic men that you'll ever meet, but why would I waste my time on stuff like, like that? What would I allow? Why would I export and outsource what should define and drive my emotional state, my feelings and my perspectives? Do we influence each other? Of course. Without you guys here as a presence, which I'm blessed for and thank you, man, I wouldn't even be doing a podcast. Wouldn't exist. I'd be talking to myself in a room. So of course there's overlapping realities and that relationship can be built off, but in terms of these sorts of examples. Yeah, and take ownership, like, just take ownership over somewhere along the chain, whether it's you did, didn't do it, someone did it to you, someone did it for you, something happened in you, something happened locally, or micro macro, something's happening in your suburb, in, in your country, in the world. What can I do about it? How can I see it? What can I do moving forward? Really powerful. Third one is perform with excellence. It's just a standard. It really is like, like you've got to look at your life and go, I can either do it with, with this level of energy or I can do it with this level of energy or impact. It doesn't mean you have to always be high intensity, you know, like this podcast. I'm not, I'm not always operating high intensity density, but there's a level of standard performing with excellence, you know, Pushing as hard as I can, boys, to serve you well, given that my head feels like a bit of a mess with this ear, it's about going, hang on, how can I still deliver value and operate at a high level? I've come, planned and prepared. I've got the five valleys, which I know like the back of my hand, but I've got a preparation of the time I want to spend for this podcast, the value I want to deliver, what's the message I want to ingrain, or what's the seed I want to plant inside of your head, inside of your heart. Then you can grow that fruit and bear the fruit from that tree that you're growing off the back of your life. Moving forward, because this episode's actually giving you value. It was worth the time and energy. What's that standard look like? And am I a fumbling, bumbling mess and talking about shit I don't even know? Or am I actually delivering value that can cut through to the core of you and help you expand? Perform with excellence. Remember, these are action based values, right? Action based values. Be a man of your word. Action base, Take ownership. Action base. Perform with excellence. Excellence is simply a standard. You know, most things in this world will rise and fall on the standards in how you operate. You know that. That's pretty clear with hpf, its own evolution, how we continue to evolve, what we do. Like that cozy documentary, the live events that we run. Yeah, they're going to be unbelievable. You know, so much value for these men, whether they join HPF or not, it's irrelevant. I'm just here to provide more value and some of that in the flesh I think will be phenomenal. But perform with excellence. It's like not so much about intensity, but can I raise the button? Are here. Can I do good work? Cool box ticked. Can I do great work? You know, like performing with excellence is. Can I actually be engaged and present with my children? You know, be present with presence? Can I actually engage and connect with my wife on a deeper level? Like perform with excellence really is. It's. It's the energy, it's the undercurrent of how you operate. It's the reason why so many of you fucking like or love me or HPF or what we stand for before. Like, it's the standard that has just expressed something that hasn't existed before. Think about this, even if you guys aren't a hpf, you're here collaborating with me, creating something from nothing. That's so special, man. Like, none of this sort of Stuff exists you back to 2018. Like, you know, are you okay? Day and beyond blue and psychologists and counselors, of course they're in one one lane or one channel or they're not quite the, the format that you might need as a man. And some of you, some of the men may not like me or my approach in hbf, that's okay too. I'm not here to please everyone, but it's like boys, we are creating. You are the greatest teacher and masters of what we're creating here. Why? Because you're giving me a feedback loop just to be that caretaker, that conduit, like that creative consciousness you're creating inside of who I am to express this message. It's all you. It's all of you. That's pretty cool, man. Like, that's, that's awesome. If we didn't have a bind to a higher standard of operating, one, you wouldn't even be drawn towards what I do or operate. Which means two, none of us would have something greater to us by towards. We've got Olympians, ex Wallabies, world champion athletes from all different types, all different fields, like an 8, 9, 1, 10 figure, but lots of 7, 8 and 9 figure business. But we got some high performers here in, in hpf lots. And that, that doesn't dispute or discredit the other men who may not be in that specific field. Men who are having more children, more babies, expanding their careers, changing careers, starting businesses, best shape of their life. Like, without any of that energy and level of operating. We're all just remember, like I said, invert. Like, let's look at, let's look at inverting the first three values. So perform, perform with excellence. The opposite of that would be operate poorly. And ordinarily, you know, so when I say you're all, you're all part of this. You're listening to this because you want more. You're craving more. There's something deep inside of your gut, inside of your intuition that says, man, I want more. I need more. I don't want to be average. I don't want to be normal. I want to be fucking except inside of my life. That's what perform with excellence is. You're all contributing to this. The caliber of men listening to this, HPF or not. Don't discredit yourself from what's possible in your life. The caliber of men, yes, you listening to this is what enhances and keeps me. And spots, mounts and be like, hang on a minute, Al, you've got to stay ahead of the Game, man. And that doesn't mean I'm better than you. You've got to stay ahead of the pack in terms of service for these men and what they need. If I was sloppy, fat as, didn't care about serving the business, didn't want to evolve or build something massive like this HPF app which is going to take us global, didn't really care about my relations. I don't know if we will, but we're exploring, possibly extending our family. That'll be quite a. Quite, quite a ride. Anyone with four kids, flick me an email, let me know how it goes, how it's going. But, but like, if I wasn't sharp and staying on my journey of evolution and growth, man, what a hypocrite. Again, coming back to the other values, not being a man of my word, not taking ownership, not performing with excellence, that'd be horrendous. What a horrible leader. That's all inspired because of you. I love that level of accountability. So if we invert it, perform with excellence is like, yeah, be an ordinary average man who does fuck all and operates poorly. Take ownership, is blame everyone else. Be a man of your word, Say whatever you want, do whatever you want. Like it's, it's so funny how easy it is to connect with the what not to do's, right? Which, which, which can make it harder when it comes to these values. Like, like, what do you mean perform with excellence? What do you mean, take ownership? Let's at look the opposite, right? Don't be a man of your word. Like lie, say whatever you want, beg, borrow and steal. Do whatever you need to to just make sure you're one step ahead. But be extremely selfish in that respect and just the detriment of everyone else. Just try and elevate yourself and never uphold your word. Just change like the wind. Take ownership, yeah, Only own the things that are convenient for you. Get rid of the rest. Blame everyone else for the rest. You can promote how unlike lucky you are and where you might be lucky. Just take full credit. No, no, that's me, that's me. Everything else, I'm unlucky, it's not my fault, but yeah, that, yeah, I'll take that. Yep, that's me, that's me, that's me. And you'll just have a flawless track record. Look at you, look at you, mate. You've got 100% hit rate, 100% success, fellas. The more I grow and build family, self and service, personally, professionally, the business, HPF everything, the more I grow and build the more mistakes, the more micro failures. Like, I gotta tell you, the most successful people in the world, whether it's elite sport families, expanding their families, you know, making and creating better relationships with their families, building their businesses, making more money, I would bet my left nut that 99% of the time in any of those fields, those that expand and become that top tier, that top 1%, they are the ones who've been punched in the face the most and have suffered the most. Does that mean that suffering doesn't exist for everyone else? Of course not. Of course it does for everyone. However, the opposite of taking ownership is, yeah, just blame everyone else and just take the wins, mate. Who, who there has a 100% success record. I call you a liar, that's for sure. And yeah, you know, don't worry about standards. Just do whatever you feel like when it's convenient, operate poorly and become a common man who's just average like everyone else. So it's pretty interesting, isn't it? It's quite funny when you invert these values, you're like, wow, man, I would never want to be that. I'm sure you guys listening to this wouldn't either. But that is so important. We must be men of our words and take ownership where we might have dropped the ball in an era. Our word, our standards, this is where I love. They're all into interlinked. Take ownership over your life. At some point along the links, along this big chain, the buck does stop with you. Even if it's your perspective, even if it's a belief system, it still ends with you. Someone could come in and stab you and punch you and rob you and steal and cool. We can be victims of trauma. There's a difference between being a victim of trauma, a traumatic experience, and having a victim mentality. There's a big difference between the two. I'm sure I've spoken about this before. I'm talking about the victim mentality. Victim of trauma that could happen to me. I'd be like, oh, man, that's fucking horrible. It's horrendous. And then, and it's like, well, I can still feel I'm human. I can still feel bad and have these feelings and be disappointed and upset and hurt. But at the same token, there's got to be this crossover where there's a part of me that goes, okay, well, fuck, what can I do about it now? I've got to try and rebuild. What's the alternative? Don't shit, you're dead, goodbye, game over. Don't Ever buy into that, boys? There's a saying my wife said the other day, just on. This is really, really interesting. I think we're talking about health or illness or something. And it might have been a more of a philosophy type thing at the dinner table, which is really nice. I really commend Crin for it. Maybe. I think Marlow, our dog's getting quite old and he's. He's getting close to the end and maybe, maybe educating the children a little bit too on death. And one thing my wife just said, passing, she didn't think any of it. She said, you can't, you can't hide from death. I was like, that's so true. Like, what I'm about to say is so important. Important men. You can't hide from death. And you know that. But it's just really interesting in how obviously being the way I'm wired, I took it and ran with it and expanded. I'm like, you know what? That's very true. None of us can hide from death. However, death is simply a moment. What's. What's. What's sadder or what's. What's more depressing even is people hide from life. You can't hide from death, but you can hide from life. And people spend their whole fucking lives hiding from life and the life they can have and the life they can live. And your life is everything. You can't hide from death. Death is just a moment, but you can hide from life. And that is everything. That's your everything. That's your entire existence. And that's what happens down the bloodlines. Maybe it doesn't because you just get forgotten so quickly, but whilst people can't hide from death, they choose actively to hide from life. And the gift that it is and the opportunities that we have and the blessing that it is to become the greatest asset to your family, society, the world that you can be, becoming the greatest leader you can through yourself, your own actions, your own development and evolution, your personal development to become more. You are enough. You're enough to become more. It's not this never satisfied. It's like, hey, I'm all always seeking, why not? What a wonderful game to play. Knowing that you can never reach your potential. So let's shoot and go as hard as far as we can. It just really hit me. I was like, wow, isn't it, Isn't it sad? It's crazy. People. You can't hide from death, but people will choose to hide from life, which is like everything. It's their entire Existence takes me into the fourth point. Men seek growth, love and joy seek. You're looking for that. Look, without that, none of the other values I'm conscious at the time, I don't want it to be too long. But you know, none of the other values matter. Like seek growth, love and joy. Okay, if you're not seeking growth inside of your life, your word's going to be standard, your excellence will be piss poor at best. And what you own isn't worth owning. Isn't it crazy if you don't seek growth? Growth, growth is like your amplifier, you know. And the fifth value is too goal in style in. But that's sort of enhancing the values themselves. But growth is like this is the amplifier. If I'm growing, that means that my standards are raising. What I take ownership over has more meaning and weighting to it and impacts and affects more people. And my word has more depth and weighting to it as well. But it's two more, seek growth, love and joy. Because without love and joy you're mere just money making, killing robotic machines. Heartless men going out to hunt and drive this dominant energy to just go out and produce without any sense of the spirit inside of us. There's a man who contains the spirit, but then there's also the spirit of a man. I remember seeing Bob Proctor who was pretty good. You know, he's pretty good and I haven't seen a lot of his stuff. He's dead now, but he was pretty good back in the day. He did all the law of attraction stuff. But I saw a very quick video on socials of him talking about this three, three layers to our reality. There's, there's the spirit of us, then there's the intellect and then there's the physical body. That was a pretty good explanation. I like that. But, but, but this is the point boys. Without love and joy, what is the point of doing or pursuing anything? Without love and joy, you're not going to have meaningful relationships. Whether it's business relationships or your wife or your children or your grandchildren or your parents if they're someone alive. It's important that you seek that out. It's not just live love. Love isn't. Love isn't. Love isn't a word. It's like gratitude. It's an action based word. It's not I'm grateful, it's let me show you my gratitude. Let me show you how I am grateful for you. Let me show you how I do love you not. Yeah, I love you because we got married X amount of years ago. So you must seek growth, love and joy. It's so important because that brings together all of the parts which make up us men. And together that amplifies not only the level you can operate with those first three values, but the meaning behind them. If I'm a man of my word, and that word has attached to it points of love and joy that I seek, whether it's for myself personally, yeah, I loved when I had a Jet Ski and I was going outtake, but I love doing that with the kids. I did the maths on that, sold the Jet Ski, you know, for a few years. It ended up costing me 40 bucks a week after the resale value, doing some fixes on it and whatnot. So it cost me 40 bucks a week for a few years, take my children out on the water and create memorable experience experiences. Isn't that, that's unbelievable, man. Like I would not change a thing. The photos, the memories, the videos, the kids talking about it. I'll probably get another one at some stage, but mate, just incredible. So when you seek growth, love and joy, what is that doing for you? One, it's looking at you. It's looking at how you can address your words that you're going to give. So seek growth, love and joy. Okay, you're now going to be measured in what is the word I'm giving? Is that moving us forward? Growth. Is there actual depth and desired outcome that has the best interest of all at heart, that has a deeper connection and meaning towards life? Love and joy. So seeking growth, love and joy, that's going to enhance being a man of your word. Take ownership. Growth. How can I grow from this situation, good, bad and the ugly and move forward from it? Love and joy. What can I do in this situation such that by taking ownership where I can along this chain, it's going to have a positive impact at some stage and drive more meaning and purpose and connection to myself and those I love and care about. Love and joy. Can you. I hope this is clicking for you boys. Perform with excellence, okay? Growth. Well, what is excellence? What's a standard? Can I raise that standard? What does that look like? Like I feel like I'm a fucking weapon right now compared to three months ago, let alone three years ago. But what about 45 year old Al? What's 50 year old Al gonna be? Doesn't it, does he have to be a powerhouse? Do I have to swear as much as I do? Like I enjoy that and there's impact towards when I do that? I Can control swearing. Flick of a dime. I cannot swear for the rest of this podcast, but is there going to be a change to our. Of course. However, is there growth inside of the standards in how I operate? Can I become more polished? I've never taken speaking lessons or classes or anything. Never even read a relationship. Here I am. I wouldn't even call myself relationship guru. It's just about. It's more energy mapping and how to, as a man express the right energy in the right area. Is Viking pander in chief to have the best outcome for all. And it's like I just see that. I can just see ones and zeros and I can sit there and it's another episode. I'll talk on on. It was a really powerful piece I did with the guys last week with our coaching session, which was talking through how to assess the energy for where people are at. It's Thursday. Okay. My wife worked three days this week. The kids had been sick the week before. You know, this happened and there was a death in her family and she went off to or a friend and she went off to a funeral. So I can see the rhythm of energy, which says, this is why I'm going to make dinner Wednesday night and take a load off Thursday morning so Corinne can recharge her batter. Like, when you have that in yourself and you have that intuition, that connection, that's when you can then express and apply that to those you love and care about. Really, really important. So standards. All right, cool. So here we are, we've got our standards. Now can I raise them growth and then can I raise them in a way like I just gave an example, then that enhances the lives of others and myself? Love and joy. Going all in and staying all in. What am I actually going all in on? Am I going all in on things that are going to be a detriment and subtract to the life I can have? Because you can go all in on the wrong things. You can go in and become an amazing drug lor and go sell drugs to minors. Am I going all in on the right thing that is going to have positive growth towards my life and my journey and those around me that I love and care about such that by through my level of leadership, I'm having more impact and connection to my relationships? Going all in. Can I do that consistently? Staying all in Growth, love and joy. I really love. Like, the first three are quite masculine. I get that. They are quite dominant. Be a man of your work, take ownership, perform with excellence. I get that. Boys I wouldn't say this is a feminine one either. I'm just saying this is where it really brings in the depth and the spirit of man that says, you know what? Through all that I do and commit to, where is it taking me in this life that I'll never get back? What is it providing me and loved ones? What is the point and the purpose? I'm not sit here, I'm not here, sing Kumbaya and say love is the answer. And it's like love is an answer that there's more. If love was the only answer, there'd be no divorce. You fall out of love. Why? How is that not because of a precursor of there potentially being a lack of alignment and respect inside of your marriage? Right, mate, I'll tell you what, like, love will start a relationship, respect will keep it. But, but then one without the other. If you just had a respectful relationship without love, where's the depth? Where's the meaning? It's time you'll never get back. And it's time that person will never get back to. So selfish. No love. The poor thing, she suffered. They've suffered. You've suffered tough, man. That's why I love this one. It just engulfs or it really amplifies all the others. It really does. And boys, the final one is go all in and stay all in. You know, like it's like this, this value is almost like a larger than life type element. Like we've got a beautiful piece called the Five Laws of Legacy. I'll do another podcast and that's really, really cool on how you can could live a legacy worth leaving. You guys will like that. It's pretty cool stuff. I, I did that as our annual charge up to set the stage for, for the team. Awesome. Loved it. I'll definitely give that to you. To you guys at some stage. The last one though, it really is about that. Hey, let's go larger than life. Let's go all in, you know. And through the others, I can really magnify their meaning and purpose. You know, if I'm all in on being a man, I'm aware. If I'm all in on ownership, I'm all in on excellence. If I'm all in on growth and love and joy and pursu beautiful gift of life, you know, I don't take things too seriously, but I take some things as very serious work. I take your journey very seriously, man. Plenty of time to high five and, and, and, and, and cheer and laugh. But also, hey, we got some work to do let's get to the top of that mountain. Going all in is. Is a really valuable piece that just really. It just really magnifies. Like, the other one's an amplification device of depth, right? Or an amplification tool seeking growth, love and joy that brings more meaning and purpose and. And an upward trajectory. But going all in is, hey, all of me. Like, you have all of. Like, I am all in. You have all of me, and you will keep all of me inside of this initiative, this project, this relationship, this pursuit, this experience, this situation, this moment. And staying all in is, hey, I'm here. I'm. I am all in. I'm going to keep showing that I'm all in. Like, you can go in, but stay all in is like, because you know, me and ads have a. Have a funny run joke. You know, you're all in until you're not. Because we've just heard people say it before. Like, it's not. It's. It's not to discredit them. I just, you know, words are powerful, but again, if you're not a man of you, it comes back to, yeah, I'm all in. It's like, oh, yeah, but this happened. Well, you're not all in, are you? You're all in until you're not. You're all in until there's a roadblock. You're all in until there's inconvenience. You're all in until there's some sort of challenge or issue. And this is the hardest part with life, fellas. You are going to get challenged and tested in ways you're not prepared for yet. Which is why you must be proactive in seeking growth, love and joy. Why? Because when you get punched in the face, you've got all those loving and joyous moments to reflect on. And also you've grown rate that has you superseding that challenge. So you can handle it. Like, do what's required now. Do the work now. If he who doesn't take a risk is at even more risk down the track. It was a quote that Ryan, one of our coaches, shared with me something. Sorry, I hope I didn't butcher that, mate, but it's something along lines of I read, I was like, that's so true. If you don't take any risks, you're taking the biggest risk of all. So do it now. Go all in, stay all in. Keep growing and building yourself such that by when the adversity hits, you are a greater and stronger, more powerful man than at the time when you made that decision to grow, which means the adversity, whilst it might knock you for six in this instant or put you on your ass or, you know, really impact and affect you, it doesn't tally up a century and boundaries all over the place. To stick with the cricket analogy, that's like, oh, wow, man, this guy, just this. This adversity just got a century out of me. As opposed to going, yeah, you know what? That hurt. But you know what? What I'm most proud of again, shifting the focus and direction of control. What I'm most proud is the Owl 2 years ago Would have been destroyed. And I'm actually blown away that this adversity now is gonna hurt me for two weeks. And then I'm sweet that I gotta tell you fellas, there's nothing more satisfying than that. Cause you know what? Life is riddled and filled with hardships and adversity and challenge. But if you can continually be more by going all in, staying all in on yourself, your family, those other four values, it really does magnify the impact you can have. And the fourth value magnifies or amplifies the depth of what it is that you're doing and pursuing. And the other three values really channel the direction of how you can operate day in, day out. Be a man of your word. Take ownership over anything that has any attachment to you along the chain where you can, will, and should take ownership as a leader and then do something about it. And the doing is a level of standard that we would call excellence. It's a very high standard that you can keep testing why it is peeling back to the amplification tool. You're seeking growth. And through that, through the waiting and the purpose of what you're doing out of that, you want there to be some level of love. Love, mate. There's love for adversity. I have love and passion for the tough times and the challenges. Because I know on the other side of that is a guaranteed victory. It really is guaranteed. Like, I. Yeah, there are people who've been through worse than me in different aspects. How do we measure this? Hard to say. But there are things like, you know, I could have lost my parents at a young age. You know, like that. That's the real thing. Both of them are still alive. And then I feel. I feel blessed for that. Like, there's always a measuring. But let's. Let's circle back to al his life. What he can do, what he can control, what he can choose. Yeah, there is guaranteed victories on the other side of the adversities you face. If you're in pursuit with these five values and living them as frequently and consistently as possible, be a man of your word. If you can't give it, don't. And be transparent about that. You may hurt feelings sometimes, other times you might not. Your level of leadership and influence and articulation may help weather the storms sometimes. For sure, you don't always need to be bluster, blunt and candid, but. But for sure, that can assist. Take ownership. Regardless where it's by your own hand or something is happening to you. Control where you can by taking ownership and then moving forward from that. Perform with excellence. Choose the standard to operate at. You can always squeeze an extra percent out. Yeah, the mind will always give up before the body. So if it's something you're executing on. I've learned this through sport, man. Done some crazy stuff. Yeah. The little voice inside, the ego inside will always give in. Before you're out of juice, before you're out of gas, you can always do more or give more. It's not about intensity. It's not about just energy. It's about how you operate. Right? Excellence, capacity and skills together. Your level of leadership. Seek growth, love and joy. Because without that, what is the point of anything else? And how do you know that anything you do from here on in is worth anything? And go all in and stay all in, fellas. I hope you enjoyed this podcast. So it serves you well. Look, did the best I could with the conditions at hand. We're feeling pretty ordinary, but this is what it's all about. Stepping up and doing what's required. I didn't want to just pump out podcasts without value. And I wanted to share this with you because I feel like it's very important. Those of you very interested, look. Sydney, March 1, Melbourne, March 8, Brisbane, March 29. It's going to be a phenomenal event, guys. I think tickets are available now. It's open. Register your interest, we'll look after you. We've got some amazing stuff in the pipeline for the deliverables on that. It's going to be an epic adventure. Highperformancefiler.com forward/live or live? Live your legacy, sorry, spelled the same L, I, V, E. That'll take you straight to the landing page, which give you all the details that you want. And definitely check out the Cozy. The Cozy documentary is just exceptional. Our goal this year is to try and put together a production team. If you know anyone or if you want to reach out to us, administerancefiler.com we want to get our next one on Netflix. We want to do a property 9 proper 90 minute movie celebrating men, fatherhood, the modern world and try and get that on Netflix and make that global. That is absolutely a goal of ours. Any of you listening to this who feel like you have contacts or ways to make that happen. I know we've got some members who are movie producers so in in talks to them as well at the minute, but that'll just be phenomenal and you'll know what I mean. When you watch this 25 minute docker, you'll be like, wow, imagine if we did one for 90 minutes. But boys, I hope this serves you well. The the five absolutes to living an extraordinary life. I promise you, hand on my heart, like if you live and adopt those five values, code, laws, absolutes, the way of being like, that's all I have personally, professionally, that's all I embody. I don't have anything else. I don't have any more. I don't at this stage feel like I need any more. If I'm a man of my word, if I take ownership over my life and my position always, if I've performed at a higher standard, if through those first three I'm seeking growth, love and joy to just raise the bar on that and have more meaning and impact and purpose of those around me through those first three because the fourth value I'm seeking growth, love and joy and I'm going and staying all in. I reflect on my life. The greatest triumphs have been because of that. The greatest pitfalls have been because I didn't adopt an adoption polled those and then I see through the thousands of men we've helped the exact same. It's a winner. It's your path, it's your answer. So take it, write it down, print it, put it where you need to, definitely adopt it, apply it and hope this serves you well. Boy. Looking forward to seeing some of you at the live event. That'll be awesome. Can't wait to do that. It's going to be so cool. We do lots of events for members, but it'll be great to throw one out there to non members members you are invited to. If a handful of you boys want to come and connect with some men and network work, absolutely. Introduce yourselves and share your stories more than welcome. But above and beyond and above all else, boys, what's most important is you take this and you do something with it. You take this podcast, you do something with it and you expand on your current position because you owe it to yourselves. And you deserve this. You deserve this opportunity too. You really do. How good too. Hey, I didn't say fuck as well for the rest of the podcast, so awesome. Cheers, boys. I'll see you on the next one. Well, that wraps up another episode. And just as we wind this down, I want you to just reflect and think back through some of the golden nuggets, some of the revelations, some of the sore points, some of the things that might have hit home with you. And then just look at ways that you can apply a different set of actions to change your position, change your circumstances, change your feelings, and change the facts. These episodes are done with your best interest at heart, and there's always something we can get from that. Maybe it's not the first time, maybe it's the second time. We've had members listen to episodes four or five times and then it finally clicks. But either way, I hope you're going to lot of value out of this. And also, if this is something that you really want to solidify inside of your life, repetition is the key. You've listened to it. Write down your revelations, think about them, read them, speak them, believe in the changes that you will carve out in the action plan of those revelations to create change in your life and then share that. And when you teach, you learn the second time, right? So teaching and showing this to others you love and care about is the greatest way that you can remember and make sure you consistently learn and relearn what is it's true and what is it is important to you in your heart. Take care, have an amazing day night, weekday weekend and I'll see you for another one soon. Cheers.
