Welcome to another episode. But just before we start, if you're someone who really loves and enjoys the podcast, what we stand for me dropping the occasional F bomb, sometimes a bit more frequently than occasional, but nonetheless, the passion and the will and desire to help fathers and their families reach the next level and live a rich and prosperous life for themselves and their families, then, look, take this opportunity, take this moment to please share this with someone who, you know, needs to hear these words and listen to these podcasts and it could be your significant other. We have a lot of fathers who, their wives now listen to these episodes. Essentially, you could start them off with something as simple as episode 200 with
my wife and I.
But look, there's so much value in here, not just for the fathers, but actually for their wives to see the perspective and the angle and the lens from which we as men making our way through this world, busting our ass and really sacrificing so much how we operate, how we see things, and how much our family actually means to us. So, again, enjoy the upcoming episode, appreciate your support, love and respect to all of you. But if there's someone who you know needs to hear this, whether it is your wife, your brother, it could be your parents, anyone who is in your circle of influence and significant to you. I urge you to share this with them and continually build and promote this very valuable message in the modern world today that's so heavily needed. And again, much respect to you for giving back to yourself through these episodes.
All right, welcome to a very powerful session we have today. Holy dooley. We've got an entire panel, we've got the coaching team, the elite of the elite joining me. And what we're going to be going through in this session, whether you're listening to this on Spotify or watching on YouTube is an overall recap of cozy. So for those of you who don't follow us on social socials or don't know about what we've just done, over 100 men, highest point in the country. Unbelievable. Like, you cannot. I mean, I'm sure the boys will dive in here and share, but you cannot explain, um, how funny it is to say this in the modern world. How rare it is to have a hundred genuine, no masculine men that are just ambitious to go out and hunt life and win and win together with the brotherhood, knowing that the collective will always bring the best out in you as an individual, just like sports, rather than just going the lone wolf. So crazy. In today's world, what we've done's never Been done before in Australia, that's for sure. And what we're doing as a whole. So we've got just in order of what I'm looking at on my screen here, Mr. Ed Armstrong, the head coach of the Fire Breathers. Mr. Harding Rowan, head coach of the Knights. Mr. Jono Jonathan Fleet, head coach of the Spartans. Mr. Nate Whaley, head coach of the Jugs. Sorry, the Juggernauts. Although the man can roll on the floor, that's for sure. BJJ Master Champion and the head coach of the Titans, Mr. Eric Summerfield, who hasn't quite fixed his microphone yet. I think he's got a few issues. Every time he talks in the microphone, he has a bit of an accent. It's quite interesting. But boys, welcome. Great to have you on here. And look, fellas, first time we're doing this as a panel with, with many men on here and great men who are leading this, creating this mission ultimately and pioneering with the phenomenal 500 plus members that we have inside this community on what's possible, the way of life and how you can truly win in family, self and service. But starting with Cozy, you know, it's, it's, it's pretty incredible. We'll have a documentary out shortly, the Journey of a Man and geez, man, just so many shares. So many shares. I'm just going to leave that at the end. I think we're just going to roll and start riffing on takeaways from Cozy, what we saw, some personal shares, some of the men, and just a general recap to start with on what cozy 4.0 was, which I think we'll start with you, Mr. Armstrong, the head coach of the Fire Breathers. Mate, always. Because you like. For you, man. And walk us through just the energy and the experience, mate. It's pretty incredible.
Phenomenal. Phenomenal. Thanks for having me, Al. And, and great to be on with all the boys today. It's awesome, awesome to have us all together. For me, it's, it's a bit of a amazing story actually. I shared it in cozy 3.0, which was last year. I actually, my first, how do I say it? My first sort of understanding of hpf was actually cosy 2. When I saw an ad come up for a, for a role within the company and I was, wasn't sure I needed to do a bit of research. And then I watched Cozy 2 and it was an unbelievable documentary and I was just instantly, yeah, I got to get it. I got to get involved in this. I don't know how yet, but I got to find a way. And then for me to sort of fast forward, having been in the company now for three, just over three years, having gone to my second cozy. So this Cosi 4 that we just went to, what an experience. And just for me, the growth as well, from Cosi 2, which was obviously my first view on the whole thing, to then go to Cossi 3, to then be a Cossi 4 and it just gets bigger and better and to be a part of it, obviously, this year as a coach. I was a coach last year as well. But to really take a lead on workshops and. And leading sessions with Big Eric and the other guys as well was just phenomenal and just such an opportunity and a real privilege for me to be able to talk to and lead and inspire and teach some of these amazing men that we have in the ecosystem and HPF as a whole. But. But at Cozy, it's. It's a special group of men, as you say, a hundred men, all on the same mission, all on the same path, trying to get better, working to be the best they can be as a man, as a father, as a partner, as a brother within the community. It's just. Just phenomenal. The shares. I mean, I. Honestly, there was a day I'll never forget when we were in that theater. And it was just share after share. Honestly, I could have been in there for fucking two days. Excuse my language. I hope we can swear on this pod. Al. I hope you don't mind, but we
can mate if you've listened to the other ones. Unfortunately, we get some feedback, but the feedback's probably from people who shouldn't be with us anyway, I guess. Yes, you're allowed to drop some.
We like to do the odd F bomb in here, but it's from a passionate place, so we love it. But no, the shares. I could have been in that theater, that room we were in for, I don't know, two days, listening to the men, just one after the next after the next. And what I love, and about our men in the community as well, is we share, we go deep, but we always come back to ownership. And how do we move forward, right? Own our ship, own the stuff that we're not proud of, own the things that, you know, the places where we may have been, where we know we haven't been the best version of ourselves. And that's what I love. So we're not just sitting there. Cause I think some people think it's just a group of men sitting around a campfire. Although we do that as well. And just talking about emotions, right. Which is very important. But it's also about the growth, the journey, the man, the path. And then also how we're going to be better, how we move forward and how we become the best version of ourselves. So phenomenal. The climb itself, I mean I could go on for hours. We'll come back to some of this. But the climb, the shares, the men. What I love about Cozy is it hits on all the points, the physical, the challenges, you know, the sort of working together like that team environment where we're doing hard things that gets us on a physical level moving forward together. The deep emotional connection with real conversation with real men. And then upskilling and learning in the work. In the work, the workshops and the workbooks we work through and going to a deeper level to understand. And I think you do those, you're going to win. Phenomenal. I'll leave it there for now to let the other boys.
But we'll.
We'll come back to some more of it. But me an unbelievable experience and just keeps getting bigger and better every year. And cannot wait for Cozy five already. Let's go.
Love it. Awesome, man. Let me just hit record and we'll do that again. Ed, that was really good, man. That was a good warmup. No, I'm just kidding actually on that. I don't know if the footage has been leaked yet, but you talk about leading it. Ed, you did an amazing workshop in the alpine room and the pre workshop ritual, that was quite impressive. Did you want to quickly walk us through what you and Harding were doing, mate? Just to get in the zone. What did that look like using what you had around you?
That's it. Well, you got to. In order to show up with the right energy, you gotta get the blood pumping. So me and, me and Harding, we were. We were doing some chair dips, some chair push ups. Basically just chest and triceps just to get looking good in. In the HPF polo, which is a big hit. So. No, it was phenomenal. It gets us going. It's that sort of animal sort of. Let's fire up and get ready. Amazing music on. And then. And then a little workout to get us firing up. That's what we're about in here. And starts with self, starts with energy. And then. And leading the way. So phenomenal workshop. And it was amazing to be a part of it. And you're doing your concentration curls. I'll never forget.
100 curls with the, with the chair. That was a. That was a good Pump mate. I enjoy. Thanks for inviting me. Outstanding.
How good.
Mr. Sommerfeld. So you know, head coach of the Titans and also co leading the event. So what what we had this year, guys, over 100 men. We did the undoable. Wasn't easy and we had some challenging moments, that's for sure. Given that it was still snowing up there. There were thunderstorm warming warnings. We had to completely change two of the days around. It's hard work when you got like 100 plus men. But then we had the micro groups of like 30 something men in each. So we. We balanced both the intimacy and being more intimate and personal than last year. That just had one group of 59 or 57. To actually having the big energy like Ed said in that theater after the cozy climb of just share after share after share after share which we've recorded all. It's unbelievable to having the nice intimate moments where you know, Ed and Ed and Nate were leading a workshop and. And Eric Harding and Jono which was. Which was pretty special. One thing that turns out in the brotherhood, I wasn't there. Like guys, it's. It's way too soon. The video footage, man, like the snow was no joke. Was pretty hairy at points. Rob Pellegridi. We don't want Rob to Dynasty. He's been with us for like six years. He slipped and he probably would have rolled. Cause we got a couple of little snowballs and rolled them down the hill. That's. That's the incline obviously that. That was there at the top of the mountain. And yeah, it went on for a while. So Rod Pellegrini nearly fell and Naz Centauro grabbed him. We're walking on snow at this stage. It's not a track. I couldn't believe it was still snowing in November and that. That's just the brotherhood, man. Like no man goes it alone. Everyone's got each other's backs and all of those little moments. That's what makes cozy. Not the itinerary and what we have planned or the mindset of the workshops or the climb itself. It' those unwritten moments that really made it special. Which I was. I was very honored to have you men lead this because it certainly helped me, albeit I'm doing this podcast because I came down with a bad throat infection as soon as I got home. But it took a lot of the pressure and stress off me to be able to perform and for me really connect and just spend time with the men. So really honored that you boys were able to and always believed you would step up to the plate, given that we needed it, given that we'll double the size and it was epic to see. But Eric, how'd you find it, man? Would love your thoughts on Cozy overall in any special mentions or shares.
Yeah, massive. We have to start, we have to start so many, so many things, I guess on different levels. First of all, personally, massive growth for myself that I noticed, you know, saying like that it's my, it's my second co. So it came last year, this year again, and seeing just, you know, the growth within myself and what is possible in only 12 months. And then of course with the team, you know, we were saying all the time, it's crazy that that's our work. That's. We are, we are getting paid to do all of that, right? And it's, it's, it's an honor, it's a privilege, you know, to, to be part of it and to, and to lead. And what I really, what I really like about what we do is we need to lead from the front. We can't just sit there, say, okay, let's tell this guys what to do. Now we have to first start with ourselves and it starts individually, but then with us as a team. So amazing team dynamic, amazing teamwork that we have and obviously for Cosi, but also, you know, obviously in the program outside of Cossi. And I think the reason Cossi is so powerful because men don't just come for a couple of days. Maybe some guys know, Tony Robbins event, right? You go there for four days and you walk over calls and you're hyped up and it's fucking awes. And then you go back home and you're by yourself. But the amazing thing about HPF is that we are working on ourselves with the brotherhood together, you know, for the whole year. Then we come to Cosi and that's the, that's the starting point for the next level and the next evolutions for the members, for us as a team. And that's what I just love about hpf. It's always growing, always evolving, right? And it always challenges you. We always have to keep up because everything is growing. And it's so rare nowadays. When I look around in my old circles that I used to be part of or just society in general, it's like, you know, very, very stagnant, very, very negative, very, let's say this victim mindset and so special, you know, sitting at KOSI there and having dinner together. A hundred guys sitting on the table, no alcohol, deep conversations, lots of Fun. It's, it's really hard to describe or like the, like somebody on the outside, you know, how would you. Yes, you can watch a documentary and you get an idea or listen to us here. But men that are coming there, it really, really shifts everything for them internally, externally and wow. There's actually a different, a different way of living, a different way of thinking and the transformation that I noticed there from the members. Crazy, crazy. You know, like guys that you know, hold on for stuff for like years or, or, or decades. Right. And then leave it on top of the mountain and move on. And they are different viewers and we see it in people when they leave Kosi, they are like they're looking different but they also then act different after that. And I spoke with some of the guys now it's I think nearly three weeks after Kosi and it's, it's not just the hype, you know, that you're feeling good for the cozy. It's like long lasting. And now these men continuing their journey. It's phenomenal. What an honor. What a privilege. Let's keep going.
Yeah, what's up? And we'll talk about this man. How we've taken this and the, the energy and the standard and taken it straight into our preseason challenge. So we're doing pre season before Christmas which is matching up all the states against each other in Australia. Mate. Unbelievable. Like fuck man. Like the, the physical catch ups, the guys calling each other, connecting online, you know and it's not and, and I want to get the exact number but I would, I, I like to obviously make sure we're always speaking the truth. But I would conservatively say that hpf, like HPF endorsed slash organized from Cozy to the quarterly events that we were running to going over to Perth to the catch ups the coaches have attended to the squad leaders and the members. Easily 130 this year easy, probably around the 170 mark. But there's been at least 130 physical catch ups and engagements together which is, I mean not that we're going to turn into just an events company per se, but I got to tell you boys, like in the modern world with tech AI and the speed and just how frantic life is going that's pulling people away from the thing that fundamentally not only keeps us alive but has us thriving in spirit and soul, human connection, we're actually going the opposite. We're going against the grain and being more engaged than ever before. Not just some online educational company or coaching business that's just trying to fucking get people to sign up and work in the comfort of our own home and pay fucking money. It's like, no, no, this is. This is. We're cultivating a proper movement.
That.
Not that the others have been bad like, mate, Winter wars was epic. Like all the challenges we do. But fuck, man. Taking from cozy. And you're right, Eric, it's not to. It's really hard too. Not. Not bittersweet. But it's like I'm not here to hype it up. But yeah, we've got a trailer that we're building. We're going to properly premiere and launch the. This documentary. But even then it's going to be. Mate, it's going to move you guys like you wouldn't believe. But even then it's funnily enough doesn't come close to when you're there physically immersed. I love it, man. I. I'd love to get your thoughts. Harding, you. So Harding didn't come last year, but he's the head coach of the Knights at that time. Last year we just started the Knights. Although very, very new, very fresh, hardly any members to now this year, one of the. One of the biggest squads with over 100 men. Harding's been crushing it with them and instead of one night being there last year, Harding had a cohort of his squad with him. So how crazy. And then Jono, funnily enough, that's what we've done this year with you on the Spartans, which will. Will come to you after. After some shares from Nate. But yeah, Harding, we'd love your thoughts, man, on the experience given it was your first cozy how you've seen the Knights grow and just some of your shares takeaways and what you saw, man, because fuck, mate, you've. You've grown an extra set of arms and legs since you've been back too, mate. And I can definitely see the energy, how much it's impact you both personally and professionally.
Yes, thank you. Yeah, massive, mate. I think last year myself and Naz were actually in the back end both talking about how we wanted to be there next year. Right. And we're both there, which was an amazing feat for both of us as well. So that was awesome. But yeah, just I suppose I'll touch on the nights first before leading into cozy stuff. But it's been a. A massive transformation for the Knight squad and myself too. Right. So being huge to take that on lead these men and they're all absolutely awesome men. Like the guys say we had 100 there at Cossey, but there's about 500 collectively. So one fifth of the men were up there, and there's still another 4/5 inside the tribe that are now benefiting from all the energy that's coming through. But the Knights are phenomenal. Awesome to have those. I guess the first lot of men that realistically are going up the mountain, right? And that was huge for them. Even for those guys, the energy since they've been back is just. It's just electric. And we had our cozy catch up Wednesday night. Just us guys from the nights had a little zoom catch up, and it was awesome. The shares and they were huge. Just the energy that guys carrying through the deeper purpose they've got from that. And we feed off each other in here. The coaching group, we do the same. They all feed off each other, works in the tribe the same way. And the Knights are absolutely on fire, which is great to see because I think as a newer squad, it's always. It takes time to establish. But I think now we're really establishing ourselves as a massive squad here in hpf. And yes, Ed and Eric should be pretty worried about next year's Winter wars, that's for sure. But. But yes, back to the cozy stuff. I think aside from the. The anchorman scene when we're doing the. The curls on the. On the chairs, mate, that would probably be the pinnacle for me. But in all seriousness, that was. That was great. But that just sums it up, right? The way we have a bond inside of here, it's awesome. But yeah, cozy itself was, you know, the hike is the pinnacle, right? So all year pumping the guys up, hey, we've got to do this. Got to get up here. But it's more mental than. Than physical in that sense, too. But yeah, the hike was awesome. Just, you know, no man left behind. Everyone sharing weight plates going through there. Us as a Knights group, you know, the first ones up there as nights, it was. It was awesome. It was great to see so many men up there that, you know, probably shouldn't have been up there, you know, thinking like, you know, certain guys that probably couldn't have made it, they still made it up there.
Just.
Just through the bond that we had there, but through the workshops, the sessions, all these things, they were just absolutely awesome. And I think a couple of guys touched on our session. Just like, it's like a pure energy. It's really hard to describe what it is. It's the guys, I think one of the most powerful. Like, we talk about all the moments, right? But the small moments, they're the most powerful, I think for men too. The bus trips in between, you know, where they're going, having a chat here, catching up for a coffee before going to an event or going to a workshop and having those deep conversations. And it's no fluff, it's no bullshit. It's just all real, real stuff. And I think that's the most accurate way to describe would be just pure energy. Just like there's just something completely different around it that you can't, can't describe. And as a, as a movement, it's massive. And I think the guys who didn't come, you know, like, obviously get jealous, come next year, make sure you're there. But it's something that you feed off that energy, right? And I said to my guys where there was 14 nights there, myself included, so 15 if we can all, you know, infiltrate five other members. Well, imagine that, right? The energy they're going to take from us too, and giving back in that way. So it was phenomenal. For me personally, yeah, it's been huge. I think, you know, metaphorically leaving something at the top of the mountain, coming back down that, that reinvigorated or, or that different, different shade of yourself or leaving those things behind. I think that's been massive for everyone and I'm yeah, excited for what's to come out. It's been absolutely amazing, mate. And it's only in the beginning, which
is, which is awesome, mate. And look, a couple of 100, man. The stuff you tapped into with the men changing like it's, it's a real thing too. Like it's hard for once you like post cossie, you're at such a high, you're riding a certain frequency of, of oh wow. I've not, not waken up, woken up. But like it's, I, I'm clear again. I've removed the clutter, removed the. And then it's hard, man. Like it's not that they come home and have fights with their misses either, but there's real friction in the rest of the world going, okay, cool, now conform back to our way of being. It's frantic. It's, it's. I see the, I see the world as a chronic state, especially with, with the men, unfortunately, because, like, well, we got a lead, but that's why I say unfortunately, where men just bounce erratically between pure comfort of being a fucking slob on the couch and then pure chaos of trying to handle the shit storms and the fires every single day. And then that's what we come back home. Into. I sort of didn't have that because with the newborn and me falling sick immediately, I just went straight into a, hey, I need to recoup and repair. But for a lot of men who maintain that high, you're right. Like what you guys are mentioning on the change, like you wouldn't believe it. But yes, you will completely change in less than 100 hours. You know, it. It's crazy. And. And like Tony Robbins, they've done great things like these people, and they. They serve right? But it's not. We're not here to. To. I don't want to use the word manipulate because I'm not. Not here to downgrade what Tony's done. But we're not here to work on emotions, tap into NLP in the psychic circle. No, we're a bunch of men coming together who will break down and rebuild and ascend these mountains physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and carve out what we want to be true. Our itinerary was simple. Man, vision, path, man. The path is all purpose, mate. It's all purpose. That's the glue that holds. That holds it together and bridges the gap between who the man must become and what it is that he looks to achieve in. In this life. And that's a real thing. These men change. They operate a higher level and then their eyes are really open, I guess, to, wow, look at where the rest of the world is. Guys will come in and they'll learn and all that sort of stuff with hpf, all the prep work and all the posts is why, like Eric said, it's more than just quote unquote, an event, but also it's. It's all them. That's what I love about this. Like, the greatest thing you'll ever build is the man your children will remember. I just love that. Like, again, not a quote from some fucking guru. It's the. These are all quotes that have been inspired by the members. It's part of our workbook. That's one of my favorites at the moment. The greatest thing that you'll ever build is the man your children will remember. Because that matters. It really does. It really does. Love it. Love it. Harding. Nate, Walk us through, man. So your journey at Cozy Personal takeaways, the Juggernauts, Obviously, we'll circle back to everyone and get some. Some personal points. But just before I dive into you, Nate, I guess there are a couple of things into your shares. Nate. Sorry, A few names just to mention. Harding talks about guys who not shouldn't have been there by our doing. But like, wow. They had every reason not to be, but they still came. Simon Pulley me, man, like, that dude's going through some tough stuff. And he had many reasons not to, but he chose one reason to come and he conquered it. And I'm super proud of you, Simon. Guys like Dan Crimmins, man, that dude was gone for all money. And he was like 30 minutes into the climb. Not that he hadn't prepped. He had a puffer that wasn't even working. He didn't know at the time. And we had weight plates and all this sort of stuff and it was cold, it was snowing, it was tough. And there he is getting up to the top. Huge shout to you. Same with Peter Pierce, like just embracing, having a hug a shirt with his daughter. You know, a little face all over. It has a really cool shirt you had there, Pete. And just hugging and embracing and. And you know, him just opening up and shedding some tears at the top of that mountain of triumph, mate. So fucking special. So special. And even guys like Dave Milcaster. Well, I think it's a new member. I think Dave's a new member in hbf. Did he just joined a few weeks ago, I think maybe, but it's our running joke. I think Dave's been with us for five years and I think one year he paid three memberships voluntarily. Sorry. We sorted you out, Dave. I think we fixed it all up for you, mate. That dude, man, like had to pick up a caravan. I had to go from Perth to North Queensland, back down to Kosciusko and oh show during with his work, his. His obviously his kids and all that sort of stuff. It's. And he made it and it was tough, but he got to the top. But they're all those little moments that really. It's incredible to see how much these men have these breakthroughs as well and say no to the rest of the world and honor themselves and. And like I've said before, honor the honor of being a leader and a man. Because that's what it's all about. Like, as men, we're born a hunt lead and create possible out of the impossible something from nothing. If not then why are you even a man? Why even exist? It doesn't make sense. Nate, walk us through Men shares reflections because he was for you and. And any takeaways, mate.
It was a incredible experience to behold. I'd previously watched the Docker, so I was aware of kind of the vibe. But being there in person, it's just. It's a palatable energy that words can't describe. I sat with men from every walk of life, every part of the character art of arc, of the dad, from the guy who's separated from his kids to the guy who's dating his wife, to the guy who's pregnant with another child and thought he was checking out of the world. Incredible. The men being so varied. There was a lot that was in common. And you mentioned vision, path, and man. And I think that men that join HPF can see the vision for themselves. They can also see what the collective are kind of dear. The path is there for them. It's all the men that have come before them. It's the coaches in front of you on the screen. It's the road that you'll walk down. And then it comes back to the man and the commonality of all of us standing around that campfire, the fact that we had 75 shares of stuff that we were going to release, and out of the 75, we switched them all up so no one had the same group, and it was all going to be, you know, anonymous. Four of the statements were from our collective. Like, it's uncanny, those sort of things. And the group was that open and that vulnerable that everyone just shared, hey, that's mine. And we all just recognize that we could have interchanged any of the stuff in our groups and it all would have been all of ours. So there's a real leveling to realizing that we're all kind of in the same boat. We're kind of going in our own direction, but we have this thing that's together with us, this thread in HPF that holds us strong, and it's. Life's going to make you drift, right? There's good weeks, there's bad weeks. There's hard stuff. There's changes, there's evolutions in relationships. There's death, there's. There's worry, there's destruction of businesses. There's lots of stuff. But the thing that I noticed more than anything is that this collective has a. A tenacity to adversity and a want to go hard. And that's what I really took home from, from Cozy was that everyone in HPF is exactly like those men on the hill. The difference is, is that the men on the hill on that week got to realize that we're all the same in person showing up, and it's our privilege to experience that, and now our obligation to pass it back onto the rest of the community and onto the wider community outside of hbo.
Yeah, powerful stuff, man. I just wrote a couple of points there and couldn't agree more. And this is a, obviously this podcast for everyone. But yeah, definitely a shout out to the members because a tenacity to adversity and a want to go hard is an absolute thing that I see and observe every day in hpf and I love that, man. Well put. You know, not everything always goes to plan. Whilst we've gotten great feedback from, from the boys and in over delivering and knocked it out of the park. What I actually had planned for the Platinums was a surprise. After a workshop on the Saturday afternoon to basically give them an hour, we had a whole hiking guide group set up bringing them in. We had, I spent like two grand on these kits, hiking kits and everything, cooking their own food, like everything from the tents to the blankets to all the prep work, the straw that you drink water out of, everything. And we're going to surprise the boys after the purpose workshop. Say, okay boys, here's your crew, here's your guide. You're actually. Your hike starts now. And they were going to go off out at Guthiga and come around and come up. Massive hike, massive adversity. Conditions weren't great, you know, everything would have had to in a bag and carry it with them. All the good stuff, right? Proper, proper out in the bush. And it sucks, man, because of the, the lightning, we had to change it and unfortunately cancel it still gave the boys all their packs and everything. But just to mention that whilst the surprise was fucking epic, I mean you boys didn't see it. I obviously shared that with them once we changed the itinerary Friday night, the, the response was overwhelming, man, because you just never know. Like obviously for me on a personal level the surprise would have been epic. And that's, that's like, I guess for me personally and the love of providing surprise and adversity, like to your point, Nate, something that I enjoyed that now is gone, right? Just like the verse, the vests. The first year, however, the experience itself would have been fucking epic, right? And the way the guys respond because you just never know, right? It's, it's, it's going to be cold, it was going to be wet, going to be tough, all that sort of stuff. What stopped us was when there's lightning, you literally everything's shut. You're not allowed to move, you're not allowed to go out. Like it's, it's all closed. National park, everything's closed. So that's what stopped us. And obviously this, that's because of the safety of the members, right, that comes first always. But you just never know like even with guys with the. In the platinum or the gold because obviously we had a few different options available for, for the cozy experience. You just never know. Like a lot of these men, especially in platinum, high level, wealthy, successful, right, they used to control having their.
Their way.
These guys are staying in some pretty luxury parts of accommodation all around Tinkersfield and in, in Krakenback. So you just never know. Oh man, would they have responded? Well, what do they, what do they whinge man? Gotta do camping, man, I paid, I paid more money and I'm living in less, more pain. And every single one of them during that dinner when I announced it and I guess apologize and not, not that it's a full things it's like boys, I wanted to do this. There was a risk and we can't. But I want to. I'm all about transparency. This is what I had planned. I'm not going to try and cover anything up. Man, they were like, they were so excited. Like oh man, that would have been epic. Like Hongi, Adam, Marque, all of them, all the guys, even like some of the quieter guys came up and said oh man, that would have been epic. Would have been so hard. Would have been a great challenge.
Would have walked, been 30ks plus and
blah blah and fuck. Tenacity to adversity and I want to go hard, mate. That's, that's what we saw with all the men. Right, we're in there from 4:30am getting up and you'll have an amazing share about Aiden Ed. But Getting up early 4:30am the guys are getting in the marshalling area and staging and going up the clock, mate. Not one person was. Whether they were worried or concerned or not, they were hungry. Let's go hunt. Let's go win. It was incredible, man. It really was. We had one. Oh, sorry. Well two, because obviously Jono's a Spartan as well, but he's the head coach of the Spartans. But we had one Mr. Dave Sutton who had a medical, medical hit list which probably goes longer than the scroll that Santa Claus had on what kids have some. What kids should be getting for Christmas. But here he was, got the right approvals so we're happy for him to be along. And he smashed it, man. So much so that even Luke Egan was surprised when he tried to break away on the mountain biking experience. And something was right on his tail. I heard about that. Absolute weapon you got this guy in his 60s just crushing a world champion. So far but that was awesome. I, I want to get your shares. Jono, one of our newer coaches. Although you've been engaged with HPF for a period of time now and obviously you've got extensive experience in your own personal life, professionally and being a father through yourself. And like it's, it's, it's awesome to have you here and seeing what you're building in the Spartans. But this would have been a, a huge, not baptism of fire but real eye opener from what you've seen online, what you follow with hpf, what you've done on the inside, what you've done with your squads online, what you've done with the initial catch ups. You came over to Perth with us and Buck man, share with us your experiences being one of the, the newer ones to the fold on the inside and how quasi was for you.
Yes, thank you, thank you for having me on. It's an absolute pleasure to work with all these guys and be a part of the team. As you mentioned went to Perth for that event and that was my first in person experience. Absolutely incredible. But Cosi was just a whole, whole other beast, a whole nother level. The energy, the shares like some of the guys have mentioned. What really struck me about Cozy was just how often we were experiencing hearing about so many of the common themes, common struggles that a lot of these men had. And I had a lot of thought on that was quite reflective on it and it kind of little bit of a fire in me. Especially when I got back from Cozy. I did need to decompress a little bit because you, you go up, you know, so high, no pun intended, but just in terms of the, you know, the positivity, the energy and that and then you dump back into the real world. I felt like I almost had to lock myself in a, in a room for a little bit and just decompress and be alone with my thoughts for a bit because it's such a powerful thing that's so hard to explain. Can't wait to see the, the doco. So just to give people a little bit of a glimpse of what it's actually like. But yes, the common threads and, and struggles, it just kind of lit a fire on me to realize like the, the work's not done though. We had a hundred men there that just continued to level up but there's still so many more men that out there that you know, could, could do with a brotherhood like this,
you know,
and not just be going to the pub with their mace to talk about their problems and I actually had a Spartans roundtable last night which was really good and we talked all about the brotherhood and how powerful it's been because the culture that's been growing in there has been amazing. And I'm hoping next year to have a similar story to Harding where there was, you know, one night and then to many. So we had one Spartan, Dave Sutton, as you've mentioned, which I'll talk about in a moment and then I'm hoping to have a lot more there next year. But the guys are on fire at the moment. The culture in there is growing and something we spoke about on the round table is that kind of crabs in a bucket analogy from a lot of the people that you'd usually knock around with that you don't think about. Whereas HPF is the exact opposite to that. People aren't pulling you down to their level, they're lifting you up like they'll, they'll, you can stand on others shoulders, they'll happily stay at a level just to help you out, go out of their way even if they've got something going on. Everybody wants to see each other win. And that's what is amazing about this brotherhood. And there were so many stories that relate to that from going up the mountain where even Pete Pierce, a knight, one of Hardings, he came up with me. We were in the early group, myself, Dave Sutton and Aidan Charles, just because. So we gave ourselves the most time to get up there, as you said, Dave Sutton, laundry list of medical things going on, which we'll talk about. But yes, Pete Pierce left early with us to give himself the time to make it all the way up. Had his 10 kilos on, on his weight vest climbing up the hill and I could see he was, he was struggling but he wanted to push, he wanted to do it. And I just said to him, I said, mate, this is going to be a bit of a, this is a marathon, not a sprint. The most important thing is you get to the top. So I took Pete's weights and that's what it's all about. We had so many stories of that happening. Mark McNay I think took about seven blocks sets of weights up because he's an animal and didn't even look like a phased him. I struggled with just mine and Pete's. It was feeling it by the end of it. But he had had some amazing breakthroughs on that climb and really wanted to get to the top to prove to himself that he was enough. And mate, he absolutely smashed it. But it was help helping carrying the load was what it was all about. And as you mentioned, Davey Sutton, his recent surgeries, past heart issues and passing out on hikes before and stuff like that. So we got him to sign all the waivers that we could to make sure that if it was like Everest and we had to leave him on the mountain, we were covered. But he made it up and he smashed it. And for me actually being there and, and going through some of the workshops myself, actually just sitting through them, not as a coach, but as a, you know, a member of the tribe, that was really powerful. I didn't realize how much I needed to grow as well. So I was really grateful for the experience and it's unlocked a lot of new stuff in myself and I'm just pumped to be a part of this and excited for the next one as well.
So, yeah, love it, man. I gotta say, fellas, and it's nothing against, like, you know, there's lots of books that I've read. I've invested in my personal development and all that sort of stuff over the years and spent a lot of money, but, man, the fastest rate of growth for me has absolutely been just falling in love with the, the solutions we're trying to create, the lives you're trying to influence and help the men, the families, you know, the generational legacies. Like, that's if, if, if you maintain that for any of you, depending on what type of work you do or industry or whatnot, but if you. And it's not just about the customer. It's like, what, what impact can I have? People talk about passion. It's like, don't be, be passionate about what you do. I'm passionate about animals, but I'm not going to become a vet.
Right.
Be passionate about the impact you can have in your own respective field. And, and for me, it's like, absolutely the man and the children and, and future generations so much like yourself, Jono, it never ends, man. I'm always looking at the tribe and being inspired and going, how much can I keep stepping up and keep. Keep improving? And something that's hit me really recently on leadership, not, not that our leadership metrics or how we describe it has been wrong, but there's just, there's just different layers. And for me recently, it's like leadership isn't how much you can stand at the top of the mountain and point and, and inspire through your own actions and example, although you're always doing something, whether it's for yourself or others. But for me, great leadership isn't just, I'm in great fucking shape. I've developed personal skills. I can do this, I can do that. All the things I'm controlling within my realm. Great leadership is how much can you handle everyone else's shit and still help them progress and improve without losing yourself in the process and also improve yourself. Why that came through to me is pretty obvious. Obviously with four kids now and little Flossy's not sleeping at all, so Corinne's struggling. The other three kids are going fucking crazy. Like I said, I come off the back of cozy, which is pretty exhausting say the least, and still have an organization to keep building and a movement to keep nurturing and fostering. With a 10 day severe throat infection, I was like, holy fuck. Leadership's been tested now, man. You're running more than a hundred percent. But how can you still keep it together for everyone else? And that's not suppression. It's not the stuff that unfortunately a lot of you guys out there listening, do we just fucking eat shit and do nothing? It's how can I proactively build myself so I can still handle these moments and be a great leader as opposed to just leading by example in what I do in myself. Oh, you look at me, I went to the gym. Make time for self. It's like, okay, cool, that's good, that's given. And how can you handle when you've had no sleep last night, which was true. So maybe we'll just artificially change my face on this session today, boys. Yeah, I'm tired as right. But then also it's like I look at all of you men, it's like, how can I not produce, perform and come and serve? And so I love it. Amazing stuff. And even just like in just reading some of the stuff here, like Ed, mindset's so powerful. Let's go. No complaints. Let's figure it out. Everyone across the board was in. Even Harding. And that's really good. So even Harding came to the party, would you believe? So it's me. There's some shit stirring going on here, man. I've got to do. We just unmute each other. I'm not sure how this will go, but there's, there's for those. You guys think I'm tough on Hutto, you know, bless his 183 year old soul mate. These coaches, geez, they give it to each other. How good. But I love that, Ben. That's the trust, that's the camaraderie, that's the banter. It's so good, so good on that. I'D love to go to you for. For a second. Harding. Talk us through men. One of the members personal share. What's something that really blew you away? Like a real, real powerful sharing then Ed would love a share from you too. Man on on Just a. And I'm sure the members won't mind just a personal sharing, a memorial to and what you saw and, and, and what they did.
Yes, love to mate. I think, you know, first and foremost, shout out to the WA boys that come over especially from the night. So Dennis Gari, Ian Holland, Clint Lupton, he's an absolute weapon. So it was great to see them come over and they actually had some extra time so had days before and days after being with the travel. But, but yeah, shout out to Clint. He bit reserved Clint, but he's got so much wisdom to share. He's been through a hell of a lot in his journey in hpf already. He's probably about 14 months in into his second season now and on our cozy chat it actually came after Cossie, right? This is where we talk about in the moment. We might go through these things at Cosi where it may be and sometimes it takes an effect afterwards to come through what we've learned, how we've grown, whatever that may be. But for Clint, he actually, he stayed in Jindabyne for an extra few days before he headed back home and he went up the mountain again a second time. So he actually walked all the way back up and all the way back down. So I didn't do the ski lift, but he walked up there for a pretty special reason and that was for his brother who passed away a couple of years ago. And I think it was like the way he described it on the share the other night was so powerful, like being able to do that there and watch the sunrise at the top. Obviously when we went it was a storm, it was a snowstorm, but he was able to do that with his brother by his side, knowing he was there, release that, let it go and have that there, that moment too. And for him that was so fucking powerful and like to think now what that's going to take forward for him with his family, so forth, it's just so phenomenal. And then being able to actually say it out loud to all of us, right, and have that share and have that out there where I think for him it was amazing to hear, right? So throughout the workshops and these things, Clint was just doing all his actions, doing these things, but there was a deeper desire there for him which again he Unlocked at cozy and then executed two days later by going up and doing that with the tools through what we went through. And I think something that would have highlighted that was the end workshop that we did, you know, drawing out what's left, what are we doing at our time, these things. So. But yeah, massive shout out to you, Clint. It was phenomenal. And yeah, it was a really powerful. She actually brought me to tears on the, on the, on the catch up the other night, all men were just like, wow. It was, yeah, it was amazing. But, but yeah, shout out to you, Clint. It's awesome.
Special stuff, man. And you know, all these men, they're ambitious, they're high performing but. And they want more out of life. But they all carry, they all carry a burden baggage and we all do. You know, like, it's, it's, it's not that this is the elite of the elite. Being cocky or wanky and money gets you in. And it's not that it's a sad dad's club. It's. We're a group of men that, that are willing to share the battle scars we've acquired over time. It makes this group so powerful because these men are all winners and they're crushing it in family sovereign service. But then there's this some. There's deep traumatic things we've all experienced. Whether it's losing loved ones, which ranges from men who've lost their children. I mean that's hard, heavy. And they're still turning up and working through to their brothers, their family, their own personal challenges, breakdowns, business bankruptcy, marriages torn apart, you know, the health scares, you know, nearly dying, told you've got terminal cancer, yet here you are. Like, it's, it's so powerful, man. And, and I love the group for that. And it's not that I bite or buy into it, but like it's, it's,
it's,
it could be frustrating if we didn't have these men uphold this and such strength in the culture. To look at people who may not be in HBF anymore, who throw stones or make these accusations on what it, what it is when it isn't that. Most notably there was one dude last year as just piss week, man, and we him off as soon as he got back from cozy, he was out there are these guys doing their heartfelt shares and how they, they're ambitious in their life and crushing and rebuilding the marriage, all this sort of stuff. This was on his phone, scrolling through on social media, disappearing halfway through the event, going to the pub, having beers and Whilst he's put some up on Reddit, it's up to those people if they choose to buy into the. That he spun or not. But that bloke talking about sad dads and oysters, shit, he doesn't come close. He's not even close to the results these men are getting. Not even close, mate. But also that's what I love, where the truth always wins. And you see these men, over 100 men in person, 500. Our community and what they're doing and focusing on, it's just so good, man. Because the rest of the world, for you men out there, whether you're in HPF or not, I love that you're here and you're listening to this or watching this because you're looking for more than what the rest of the world has fucking trying is or is has sold you on. You hear my comeback. When people talk about cult is always. You can't spell culture without cult, right? But one thing I will say is a cult is typically driven from the top with a fear mongering approach on a dependence that without it you will fall down. And a cult is not defined solely by size. So boys, when I look at the rest of the world, wow, what a fucking cult. The rest of the world is in the fear mongering from the elites from the top, trying to fucking have them living in fear, chronically turning them into mindless sheep that just exist and consume and become a fucking battery for them. And there's so many of them, it's so sad. The majority of the world. And if I. So I love you men, whether you're in HPF or not, who are. Who know you're meant for more, you're cut from a different cloth and, and you're taking on board the experiences these amazing coaches are sharing and also shares like Clint and. Oh man, geez, so many. But I didn't know that actually Harding, that's. That's pretty special, man. Thank you for sharing that. Ed, walk us through a couple of yours, man. Two of the stickouts, definitely Tristan and Aiden, but geez, I mean, Dr. John Negus, gee, there's a few, Mick and Appa, but yeah, we'd love some shares from you, mate.
So many. Yeah, and I think Gav, the great Gav Morris as well, he was with us and I think of him when I hear Harding's story there. He shared a powerful share about how him and his brother used to. Used to do that climb and used to be where we were for those few days and it was a Highly emotional. Share he had, you know, and just shared the power of hpf. And I won't go too much into what he shared because it's a personal story to him, but he just wished his brother had something like hpf.
Right.
And fuck, that was powerful when he shared that in the room of all of us guys. And it made us think that for all the men that were there and for myself included, how lucky we are to be here, to have this. This space, this brotherhood, this community and all the above. So that was Gav. Unbelievable share he had after the climb are so many Daniel Crimmins. He was. His story was amazing. You touched on it earlier, but yeah, had a puffer that. That he found out wasn't working for the whole time, but he still got up there and. And strangely, well, we get it. Psychologically for him, that was massive because he actually realized, well, hang on a minute. And again, this isn't medical advice saying, don't use your puffer if you need one. That's very important if you need one. But Daniel basically got up there without it and he said, wow, what other. What other limiting beliefs am I putting on myself that I can't. Huge for him. And then he. He crushed it and he got up there. Aiden Charles, the Warrior himself, one of my guys. What a. What a man. He always laughs when I talk about him. We had a roundtable last night in the Fire Breathers, and he laughed because I do a monologue about aiden for like 10 minutes every time, and he has to laugh. But it's because he's an unbelievable man and he's an inspiration to me and to everyone in here. The Warrior Award, the first ever, couldn't have gone to a better man and a more deserving man. This guy, just for context, for those of you who don't know. And you got to get him on for part 3 Al as well. I think he's due a part 3. The guy won't go away. He was supposed to. He had six weeks to live three and a half years ago. He was here when I just started and he was in palliative care. He was on the way out. Unbelievable story. And now the man's thriving into his third season. We've lost count. I think he's in HPF for his third year. What a man. What an inspiration. Every single man that comes into the Fire Breathers is like, oh, my God, Aiden's in my team. I can't believe it. Like, he's. You know, they don't say that about me. Which Is. Which is a bit of a. Bit of a shame. But that's okay as long as we've got Aiden. And he's just an unbelievable man and. And truly he got that award. It was of course, very emotional. But, you know, the bloke got up there before me. I thought. I thought I'd be carrying him up and he was fucking up on the mountaintop for two hours before I got up there. So again, testament to the man and his mindset, his attitude to life. And me and him have a saying and we did a Monday charge up, which was very powerful, not closing loops. I think that was another great one I did. But we did one with Aidan. It was all about the title was you only die once. We always talk about you only live once, but it's like Aiden flipped it. He said, mate, you only die once. And how powerful is that? And this guy's testament to someone who just wants to squeeze every ounce out of his life and is doing that. And also just one more thing on Aiden to share the brotherhood piece. I'm not going to share the names. They know who they are. But there were two men specifically in the Fire Breathers that actually helped Aidan get to cozy because Aiden wouldn't mind me sharing, was in a bit of a tough spot before and wanted to get there so badly. And some of the other blokes in our squad helped him get there, which is just to me says everything about what. What this. What this brotherhood, what this community is about. I mean, people will. People will do anything to help people like Aiden and others get to an event. I mean, you don't see that in many. In many places. So Tristan. Fuck, I'll share one or two more. But Tristan Brady, the great man himself, one of our mighty Firebree, the squad leaders. The share he had on the last day, again, I'm sure he'll be on a podcast one day. I'll. So I'll let him share some more of that. The details, but unbelievable stuff. I wasn't aware of the growth that guy's had in nine months from going from a, you know, the brink of. Of, you know, taking himself out to the family, not wanting him at home, to now thriving as a man, as a father, as a. As a husband and a leader in here. Phenomenal. So. And Mikanapo, just one more shout out to the man of the mountain. Mikanapo was this little pocket rocket, he wouldn't mind me saying, up and down, making sure people ahead of him needed support. He was there. He was giving salt Tablets. I've never seen so many salt tablets being shared on that mountain. But he was giving them back. He'd run back down 400 meters to help a bloke that was struggling. Then he'd go up and. Just an absolute animal. Tim David's called the mountain goat, but I reckon makes a mountain goat in himself. Just phenomenal. But again, the attitude, putting people before himself. No man left behind, that kind of, you know, saying we have here. And it's true. People actually realizing that to give more to others is actually how they give more to themselves as a byproduct. We're all helping each other and that's what. That's what HPF's all about. And it's what it's built on. Phenomenal. Yeah. So many. I mean, the multifier breathers, we have so many I could share, but There's a few.
Mr. John Negus and Dr. John, how could I forget? High performance fire breather of the year.
John. I would actually share this one thing. This man has achieved so much in his life, he wouldn't mind me saying the first from Cambridge, a great university, a doctor, a surgeon, endless awards. And he actually said to me, I hope you don't mind Dr. John, that he said this award that he received, he said it was the most impactful and the award that he's most proud of achieving and receiving in his life. And that's from a guy who's achieved quite a lot. So for me to be able to give that to him and, and for him to say that again, that, that's. That says so much about what this, what this is all about and.
Oh, yeah, wow. That's. This is why I need you boys. I need to share all this stuff because it's hard for me. I wasn't. I didn't have optics on all the things going on in Kazi, so. Which obviously is natural with 100 men. Hard to get all those little golden nuggets. That's. Yeah, that's very special. Thanks. Thanks for that. I call him Dr. John or just John or Mr. Negus. Dr. John, of course. Yes. He's on the. Yep. He says, oh, he's in the waiting room now. I'll bring him in. I'm just kidding. That's awesome. Thank you so much, mate, for, for sharing that, because that does. That does mean a lot, given that this man spent decades mastering his craft and the prestige of the certifications he's acquired. So to share. That's pretty heartfelt, man. Thank you. Love the shares, Ed. Finally at the top. Happy. Unhappy. Should have I yelled freedom. No not this time. Wasn't wearing the appropriate clothing. With thoughts bit of Braveheart the talk at the top.
Perfect man. The weather was literally the heavens open didn't they Just as we all got up there and you're all waiting for me at the back and just as you started the heavens open it was. It was like a move. I can't wait. That that on the doco will be phenomenal. And yeah the speech was phenomenal. I did want a little bit more brave art but it was pretty good.
Getting comments here in the chat. The coach is saying some footy shorts would have gone well but no we already had a member Ollie Berthsely. He has the honor every year of being the man who wears different team every year. I think this year was the Cowboys was it last year was the Melbourne Storm. But Ollie wears footy shorts. Every every guy see like a legend but they looked. They looked size too big this year I think we. I wasn't seeing enough leg. I think he's. He's getting a bit more modest in his. In modern times as opposed to the first year was almost Speedos. Eric personal share man. Like there's Jason Krittle comes to mind. I don't know why I'm not sure but maybe the way you call him that was phenomenal. We're in a room of 100 bed and it's just silence and men are walking up of their own of their own accord volunteering and the great commander that he is well worth it though. What a share Eric share a couple of your members man. And some pretty pretty powerful takeaways. Especially stuff like what you said about Dr. John. Things I might not have heard because that's that that's inspirational man.
So many as well. I think I had about 30. 30 of of my guys. They are the Titans. So Jason Twiddle for sure. You know. Bit over 12 months in hpf. Phenomenal journey before Cossey because he was really that cemented it all for him you know and going into his second season and for him like I mean he stopped drinking already. I think he's. He's still counting it as like 400 days or so but drinking and he would be on the piss every day. You know not present with the family like having really a life without purpose and now you know being one year in hpf coming to Kossi, you know we're speaking about purpose and I had a session with him two days ago and he is more on fire than ever. And I thought he's already doing well before Kosi. Yeah. So that was definitely very meaningful for him. Someone like Lee Durfliger. You know, he was the Titan, Titan of gear. There's a great podcast with him that you recorded a few months ago. So definitely I can't look at the chat and I'm talking here. Just look at the screen.
Don't look at the chat, look at the chat. Keep going. Lee Dorflinger. Amazing. Yes.
Lee Dorflinger. Yeah. So really, really crushing. Woody crossing titan of the year. And for him as Well, I think 16, 17 months in HPF season tour. And what I really love about him is that here that he's showing up. He keeps showing up in the tribe. He's one that gives the most. And that's what I could see for him at Cozy as well in the community, but also at Cozy. A guy who really turned his. His life around on all levels, you know, and stopped all of the bad habits. Best shape of his life. And her wife is open now to leave the family business. They're starting something together, open up a side business. He's doing his real estate, investing. More present with the kids than ever. So fantastic, you know, phenomenal. And for him, you know, there's sometimes guys that. That are coming to Cosiot and you think, oh, they actually, they're doing pretty well already, you know, so in family self and service, they maybe don't have that much obvious pain, but then they come in HPF to come to CASI and they'll be like, wow, you know, so I really have so much more to give. There's so much more potential. And that's like a leader of legal, like a Luke o' Brien comes to mind. Maddie Lehman, Hado even, you know, so much, so much potential, so much, so much depth in this man. And doesn't matter how. How well you do. Like we said before, we have some really big business guys, you know, guys that achieved so much in their lives. But then, wow, you know, maybe I'm missing deep relationships and I'm missing my health and I'm missing purpose in my life. What's this next level after job achieving a certain amount of wealth or business success. So I had so many guys. Yeah. That share that with me. And now continue. Russian.
Yes. Lee Dorfliger, I think, has just about every single member's number in his phone. That's how much that dude reaches out and connects. And it's just like, wow, that's. And like I said, the dude's Already successful, but he's looking for. And there's nothing wrong with you men wanting more. Sitting down, having little power hours and being in a victim state is not going to get you more. Just like we talk about gratitude, love, belief that they're not words you sit on or statements or feelings. They're things that should be driving you to action. They're things you should make proactive. Let me show my belief. Let me show my gratitude. Let me show my love for you. Let me show. And whether it's love for life or for your, for your wife or your children or, or professionally, you know, man, I have to, you know, I get punch in the face eat every single day with, with, with what we do, but it's worth it. So it's not even about the, the actions, it's the impact you have and, and the drive to be more. And having that in an environment of men that like you said, Eric, that are so much more successful than, than any other man who loves being an arrogant lone wolf is, it's just, it's almost mind boggling to see how different realities are in this world, right? Eight billion people, eight billion different realities. It's, it's crazy. It's, it's not right or wrong. I'm not judging, I'm just saying like it's actions and outcomes, right? And that's what I love about our tribe and men like Lee and Luke, like OB he's awesome. You know, Jimmy Dine and obviously Hutto, they're all, all great men's just sitting on the Titans for now. Callum Francis, like great dudes, man. Nath Tompkins, like a lot of these guys are squad leaders. All of them are, yeah. Pretty, pretty inspirational. Pretty inspirational. I'm just seeing you. I've got 378 unread messages in the chat. Harding. Actually, no, you,
you.
Well, Harding, I guess you started as a member. Just, just very quick share, very quick share on the brotherhood and being part of it before. Obviously you, you developed and trained through the inside with us, but you started with the Titans, didn't you? You'll just shed light just very quickly on, on that man. Then we'll go to Nate for, for some shares and talking about his juggernaut of the year. But yeah, the culture, the team, the, the tribe.
Yep.
Love a share, mate.
Yes, absolutely. I was fortunate enough to be with the big German. Couldn't understand him for the first couple of months, but we got there in the end. But no, in all seriousness, it was phenomenal. And like when I come to hpf. I wasn't. You know, a lot of guys have different stories. I was by no way in dire straits, but I was just looking for more, looking for something else and deeper purpose. Right. So jumped in, went all in. I was actually grateful to have someone like the, the big commander Eric. That's very direct up front. I love that. I love hard work. I love going all in, staying all in these things. So did the work. Put the hard work in, Got results through, you know, family, self and service and through that too. I was like. My background beforehand was. Was FIFO mining, toxic industry, you know, very, I guess lonely at times and just the monotonous bullshit that goes on through there. So for me it was more. I wanted something different. Didn't know what though. Didn't know what I wanted. So then I figured out what then I think through to yourself, Al, Adam, the other coaches here as well, which was, which was great to start working in the back end with Nas and whatnot and then moving into the, the delivery side, which was awesome to have that and you know, the faith and belief from you guys and obviously belief in myself too, to take that forward and actually go after it and commit and go all in and stay all in and it's been absolutely phenomenal, mate. But I suppose going from that side, from member to coach, it's something that, yeah, it's a great honour and privilege to have and I know that. I think Eric was the same and you know, we've all got different backgrounds, right, through different avenues, but yeah, it's something that for me I'm very proud of and it's something that I, I love serving the men right and I think it's. It comes across a lot better for the guys once you've been through it yourself first, right. So far, been through a fair bit in life and I think it's something that holds me in good stead with the men and they love that too. And I think going from, from one to the other, it's a, it's a very good transition, I think. And yeah, love it now where I am, it's. It's absolutely phenomenal.
Oh, definitely. Like you boys have all esteemed careers and an extensive line of, of results and performance in, in the respective industries you've been in.
Right.
Which is why I wanted to poach you and, and have you boys be part of this. Firstly, secondly, what qualifies anyone to do anything's results, you know, and that's, that's what I love most about you men and what you do you? We are here to serve and we're here to drive those results. Like who am I to talk to a 50 year old man given that I'm not 50 myself. That doesn't mean what a one dimensional way of thinking or maybe working with maybe 4050 year olds and just listening, understanding and absorbing their life and what they have. My skill sets in services, understanding the patterns of what a 50 year old goes through. To be able to talk to another 50 year old who's new in hpf about his life better than he can actually articulate himself, which exactly what fucking happens. But that's the point, right? That's why there's no high performance mums and all the other stuff and all those distractions, man. I laugh, I look back. I had a skincare company, supplements company. Oh, mate, we made our own tea. Hit the sack. That sounds a bit naughty now. I say it, man, it's like, no, no, come back to center the one thing. And yeah, very blessed to have you boys in the, in the foxhole with me and with us on this, on this mission. Just on that. Before we go to Nate, we talk about men. And Eric, you mentioned men who are quite successful sort of stuff like, like Mick Ledland, early 60s, dude's a fucking billionaire. Like love that guy, man. Like he's, he's, he's so down to earth. He's got his own yacht, sailed around the world for years. Like, he came to me after our purpose session and he said, I just need you to know, Al, whilst I wasn't there, your purpose workshop was definitely better than Eric's and Ed's. And that really helped, that really hit the heart, man. That was like, wow, thank you so much, Mick.
But
hey, where'd Eric and Ed have left the room with you? Send him a link. Harding, get him back in the meeting, please, mate. Get him back in the podcast. But no, he, you boys did exceptional. Did exceptional. He said, you know what, Al? Life's really hard for me and here's why. And so this is the thing, fellas. It's always hard. It's always hard and never ends until you die. He's like, I'm in my early 60s, I've got a beautiful family that's all growing and grown up. I've done everything I've ever wanted in this world. I've got everything I've ever. I've got everything. He's like, I've not. He said, so it's really, really hard, really, really hard for me these days to actually get up, inspired, with an enthusiasm and zest for life. Some paraphrasing, but pretty much literally those words. And that's when he then stopped and said, you know what I love about HPF and what all these men here represent? The greatest project of all. And he's like, it's taken me 60 plus years to realize and finally find the greatest project that I can ever work on, which is myself. I finally found it. And working on me and what can I do? How far can I go? Not just how much money I can make or how many kids I can have or what experiences I can have in the world. Who can I become? And then what's the even bigger reach I can have with others? And I'm expanding probably a little bit more because me and Mick had several combos. But yeah, he's such a great man, as are all the men in hpf. I'm just sitting on Mick's example. It's like he's this guy who, quote unquote, has everything and he's completely content. But he came to cozy, still searching, open, open for more. And he found it in that purpose workshop. That was a man, that was a powerful workshop. Jeff Bauer, shout out to him and said, mate, I've done everything, Tony Robbins, all of it, 20 years of personal development, he said, and I got more out of that two hour session than I have in 20 years. And that's, that's not because of me, guys, because of hpf, what it represents before, during, after. Yeah, the workbooks, the questions, the shares inside that room, that moment for that two hour period. But yeah, I just wanted to share that. And big shout out to all you boys. But yeah, just special mention, thank you, Jeff, for the kind words. And also, Mick, I finally found a project that I really want to work on that I can work on for the rest of my life. And that's me. And that might sound so silly or weird, but it's a real thing, guys, because we run the risk of losing our identity. But Nate, we'd love some shares, man, and for you to just continue that with someone like Jed. Wow, what a journey. But, but yeah, I just wanted to share that and thank you, Mick, for choosing and giving us the honor, as well as all of you men to serve, because it means a lot, because that's inspired me to know that when my children grow up, there might be a part of my identity that I feel is lost because of so much heaviness I'm putting into raising my kids that I no longer need to raise them. I'll always be their father, but I'll always be actively involved the way I am now. No, that's what I'm learning with Florence. And that scares me. It does scare me, because is my identity hpf? Is it a husband, a father, a man, a fucking. A fit, muscly dude? Like, it's. What is it? I think it's a collective of all of it, but it's. It's something you continue to work on the project. But anyway, it's. Thank you, Mick. It's. It's powerful stuff. It's where I draw my inspiration from the men. But, yeah, Nate would love some shares, mate.
Yeah, I think we touched on it the other day. Now, private combo, just about iterations of the man. And when you look at someone like Mick, it's the same deal. It actually shows you that no matter how much you game life, there's still to work on. And it's generally the thing that you are. So there's a saying, wherever you go, there you are. I think it holds pretty true for a lot of the men in this group that once you realize that you can play all the games, but the only real game is to play your life all out in every way you can. That's all that really counts. And we did some powerful things while we were away, like measuring how much time you have left available, working out where seasons sort of start and finish with different parts of our life. Coming to terms with how many more winters and summers you have with your parents, right. Just in their 70s. It's taking stock of stuff. How many times more times will you carry your daughter? Huge theme things. But my men are absolute weapons. The guys that come to Cossey in particular, like everyone, I just have so much admiration for and. And time for. They're all got big hearts. They all lean into the work. Even the ones that struggle and fall
off, they try hard.
But the boys at Cozy some. Some special mentions, Mark McNee got to mention. I didn't even know about it. We walked together probably for about, say, maybe 2 or 3k on the way down. Never once mentioned how much weight he had on, how many other he'd taken. Never offered me a plate. Nothing to find out. The dude had like five, six, seven plates on or whatever. It was crazy stacked up, just offering to be in service, not to be a hero, not to tell anyone, but just to, like, take some weight for some others because he could. And I think that's another part of the big picture of hpf is that full circle, it's the capacity to lead others, the capacity to help the community, the capacity to lift another brother up. You only get that through being excellent yourself. You only get that through being high performance and creating that extra ability to carry that demand. So, yeah, big shout out to Kim. Big shout out to Jed.
Jed.
One juggernaut of the year. He's not a quiet achiever, but just like dogged at it, like, never stops. The dude was on a charge up the night after he had gorsone removed. He was doing his squats for Winter wars the day of the operation. Like just a special beast, you know, looks after his son, who's a little, little fella while running a. A really good. The biggest vet in Wagga, pretty much. So, yeah, people like that Adam Marquez just lifting and rising. Andrew Hong showing up for everybody, having those quiet conversations on the side. Like so many guys to mention. And one special mention is just to Peter Child Freeman. He spoke of the loss of his son and that tragedy in his life and he leading up to Cozy in every share that he had within the group. Like our round table, our cozy catch up just like, just leveled everybody up with the vulnerability. And then to come to Cozy and to drop that one on everyone in the room after a quiet share with a couple of the boys, the way he's come home, the way I look at him across the screen when I have a session with him and how. How real he is, how there's no facade, there's no pretense, there's no pretending, there's no shame. He's just all of him, take it or leave it, in every. Every area of his life. And there's also a gentleness to that. So it's not too much Viking. It's not just. Just bad luck.
It's.
Excuse my language.
It's.
It's really like, this is really me. And I know what it is, and I'm gonna stay being this. And you can either be around it or you don't have to be. But everyone in his life is seeing a real different version of him now, and I'm grateful to witness that transformation. He's in real time.
Thank you, mate. Yeah. What'd you say, Ed? Only four more cozies until 2030. Just goes so quick to such big, impactful moments. And, you know, it's. It's crazy how fast your life goes, mate. Jed, what an absolute weapon, man. Like, that dude's me. He's. He's.
He's.
He's got some special stuff, you know, It's. It's funny how you pull these little things. Like all of you men, the men in hpf, the mission, the culture continues to grow. People like Jed, they all. They're all these little touch points that actually gave me the confidence to just go on and go, yeah, why not? Let's go for a fourth. I know it sounds funny, but it is. Naz having another child after, you know, he got his life back on track with him and Rose and his beautiful girls. And he's got little Elena who's just over a year old now.
Like, that's.
But it's funny how it all works. Like the whole. It's not sliding doors, is it? I think it's six degrees to separate.
No.
What is it? What would you call it? The butterfly effect, I think. Crazy stuff, man. Very, very inspiring. Especially the stuff with. You'll only have X amount. There'll be a time where you won't be able to throw your kid in the area ever again. And that. All those lasts, all those lasts, it makes it so final. The. There was something. One of the workshops we did, and I was speaking about mortality and. Oh, that's right. It was a question. And it just hit me. Just one word. You've all said this word before. The word done. D O N E. One of the questions at the start with the vision is, what will my life mean when it's done? And when I said that, I just, behind my eyes just whirled a little bit and I was like, oh, man. It's like, fuck. That's a. That's a pretty solid question I'm asking the boys ten minutes into Cossey. But, you know, it's.
It's.
It's important. When we ever stopped to look at and going, what am I really building? Giving us off enough time, long enough stillness, silence. Says, what am I really building? And what will my life mean when it's done? And when I said that, I was like, mate, that's so. And I read it. I wrote the question. When you're there at Cozy in the Energy, you're like, wow. Just the gravity, man, that, you know,
the.
The nature of how finite life is. Marco McNee, man, the dude wet carrying all his other gear. He would have been nearly 45 kilos. Unbelievable, mate. Unbelievable. Like, that's. And without complaining. Here, give me a plate. Give me a plate. The guys didn't want to, but they're really struggling. It's like, I'll give it back to the top. And, you know, had. He's had his way clever with words to get it and I didn't realize he's carrying that weight because he was walking past me at a pretty good speak, pretty good pace. You know, it's, it's, it's very inspirational. And Marco was our high performance father of the year. This dude, multiple businesses, multiple business exits. He's developed an amazing relationship with his wife off the back of having two daughters, driving businesses, coming off the back of being an Olympian, multiple Olympics. Tough man, tough. You know, his wife worked very well as a team. But it is hard man, as you get older to maintain a very deep, loving, intimate, you know, sexual, playful, all of that relationship. It is hard. You know, crin. Nice. Since I was 17 and 15 we've got a very mature relationship but still young enough too. But I'm sure as we move into our late 40s and 50s, another challenge again. So. And through all of that, new startups, successful exits, starting another company again and selecting my message high performance father of the year. And how awesome. Not the that takes away from all the other men, but it's. I love that we have these awards and we recognize and actually I'll go to you next, Harding because fuck, that was an awesome share by Scotty Stefan. I know you forgot to mention him mate, but I never forget someone as important as him. But saying he Harding's become the host and he's kicking me out and reporting me. Marco, send me this message. I look forward to the chat. You have no idea how important Cozy was for me. This is a guy who's ultra successful by the way, across everything. Not just notoriety, the Olympics, all that sort of shit. Business, family, self service, health. His contribution to Cozy. No idea how important Cozy was for me and my family this year. Purpose defined by impact is my new guiding light. The doors it has opened, it's got a little emoji of that guy with the brain explosion. Also I now understand the value of truth at home and with myself. So much so I may have packed up the small engine business by walking my truth. I'm seeking purpose, not reruns. Been offered a foundational role to build a team to deliver a national defining, world class half a billion dollar bio energy project. So this dude's massive on sustainability in the environment, right? Early days, let's see how we go. What did Cozy cost again? Fml. Dollar value in the thousands. Inconsequential. I'm committed to doing a mini Cozy in Queensland. Six months out from Cozy this year, if you'll let me. To give the man a chance to ascend in a weekend like that, like, oh, there's so many of those. Like, yeah, some of the Google reviews the boys are writing and the shares, emails from like Steve Byrne.
Wow.
Fucking inspirational. It's powerful, man. It's powerful. I can't believe how quick this has gone as well. Jeez, it's been, it's been awesome, fellas. Harding. Yeah, man, that's. Would love for you to share some insights and I'll get him on for a podcast, obviously, but Scotty, Stefan and his journey.
Yes, absolutely, mate. It's funny, when Scotty first come in, his intro video was on Castle Hill, right? So all the members come in, do intro video, put yourself out there. It's uncomfortable at times for the guys, but it has to be done right. You gotta get past that first bit of fear, get that out there. But yeah, so I actually noticed the video said, mate, reached out straight away, caught up with him and been very close to Scotty obviously throughout his time here in HPF as well. And like he's a man who's had his whole world fucking turned upside down, right. So things have gone to shit, as some guys have, but the way he's just directed all his energy onto himself, what he can control and then keep that moving forward, it's absolutely shone through. So he's, I think he was September, so he'd be about 15, 15 months in now in hpf and just absolutely crushing it. Like the pinnacle of, of going all in and staying all in. Like his, his manner in what he, what he does for the tribe, for the community, for himself, you know, coaches, his son's cricket, always there for the kids. He works week on, week off, geologist. He loves his rocks. He, he loves giving a good spiel about the rocks too. It was a great, great speech he gave at cosing too in that way, but goes all in on himself on that week while he's at work. Then goes all in on family when he's home and the kids and you know, has no right to, to have everything has without, without that, right? So a lot of guys use those excuses. It's like, oh well this is going on. And that's why I love having Scott in the nights and go, well, well this is what you could become, right? This is what you can do if you actually do fucking go in. If you actually do the work and put the hard work in. So for him it was great to, to give him that award and I think someone like, like you mentioned there with Mark organizing catch ups and, and Scotty's a guy that will Travel for work and then find the map and go, hey, we'll catch up and have a coffee with a member in Bundaberg or whatever it may be. So, yeah, his reach is, is great and I think he's a shining light. And you definitely have to get him on, mate, for a podcast, maybe three hours because the man can chat. So he'll, he'll, he'll keep you on your toes for a while now. But yes, he's an absolute legend, mate. Great to have him. And I'm really stoked for what's to come for Scotty too because, because his, you know, his capacity is huge and what he can do. So it was, it was great to give him that award and yeah, sorry, Scotty, I did forget, mate. No, I didn't forget. I just. Love. But yes, all good. It's. It's awesome.
I love the transparency, mate.
How good.
But we just, we're just chilling up, mate. What a, what a foundation he's built though, given the hardships he's gone through. What a bounce back, man. Didn't he go to like 7cat? I'm sure I saw in the state Chat challenge. He. It must have been close to seven. Several, Several catch ups all over the country. This dude, the Jetsetter. How awesome. It was incredible. Well done. Well done, Scotty. And absolutely, he's, he's like the, the ultimate clubman. Guys like him and, and Dorfliger. Yeah. Insane how much they reach out to the men and, and just, just get them going too. I know it's not easy, guys. You take that step. Some guys start slow, some start fast. Some haven't done personal development, some have. I hate comparing us to personal development as well, to be fair. But, you know, we're a leadership organization. But you know, some love being part of a group of tribe. Others are more introverts. So to have these men, and not just those two, there's plenty of them, you know, catching up and connecting and sharing and that, you know, the hardest part, I find. Fellas, we've got so much footage, man. We've got so many screenshots, so much B roll inside the community. I'm struggling on where to put it and just how to, I guess, market it and show, hey, here's I did it on my story the other day. Here's South Australia and just scroll down for 10 seconds. This is like two days worth. That's it. Here's WA. Here's New South Wales, here's, you know, Queen. Like, it's just, it's Incredible. And then we combine with the state chats. We've got a smaller crew in act Tassie and Northern Territory.
But mate, awesome.
We combine those boys together as well and it's. It's incredible.
But.
But I can't believe the time's gone quick boys. We will wrap it up shortly but I guess would love just. Just on this we should probably do. This was obviously more cozy related and culture and sharing the inspiration of the men that we serve because that is the fuel for me, man. I've said this before and I got teary when I said it Cozy that I give my life for these men and this mission and I mean it and that's not a corny thing. It's like they are family to me. Just like my family at home under this roof. I really mean it. So before the hay fever kicks in, I'll shift the folks to someone else. Starting with you, Jono. But I guess just a quick recap from each of you boys on
yes
Cosi, but also we've taken this energy now and it's set an even higher standard for the community. But I guess in a nutshell, just wrapping up whether it's shares of other members and or cozy and or HPF the community of the culture, just whatever you boys feel compelled to share, we'll do more sessions. I think this has been awesome. I hope you guys have enjoyed having. Having a panel. We'll test out the. We'll test out the. The tech next time so that we can talk over each other and the boys can talk each other instead of just posting the comments section. I was just worried about the audio, but everyone's given thumbs up and nodding their heads. Ed's just doing a double front bicep flex.
But.
But that's been an awesome start. Awesome start to have a, a solid, solid crew here with. With the head coaches, myself. Start with you, Jono. And then. And then Eric. Yeah, just final thoughts, man. Members, non members, key takeaways, the community. Yeah, we'd just love some. Some final parting thoughts as we wrap up this. This special session.
Yeah, I'm just going to quickly close this chat so that boys don't throw me off. What's going on in there? Yeah, I think it's been good hearing the shares of a lot of the other men that have been in for a few seasons obviously with the Spartans and newer squads.
So,
you know, got some newer members that haven't been here for necessarily multiple seasons. So the stories look a little bit different. But there's still some Pretty powerful stuff happening in such a short amount of time. Guys like Ryan Jenkin just going all in and actually just putting faith into himself and, and the program. And he's just kicking goals. You know, he's executing on the small things and staying consistent. And then, you know, he thought everything was kind of done dusted, separation was happening. He didn't see that kind of being mended anytime soon. And then within a matter of, you know, a couple months, wife's move back in, kids are writing him little notes, they're writing their own workout plans and stuff and working out with him. There's a full family calendar of all their different exercise that they're doing. And he's really stepped up as the chief and the leader, and they're just, they're just following. They're all, all in with it and just, just some little tweaks in that. Sometimes all guys need is just a bit of a, a blueprint and a road map that they were missing, and they just execute. And then to see some of the changes like that quick, it's mind blowing. And that's why I think anyone sitting on the fence, like, it's unbelievable what's possible in a short amount of time. Don't be one of those blokes that waits till your life is at rock bottom before you do something about it. Put some faith in yourself and what's possible and then, you know, HPF can definitely give you the roadmap and even some other guys that come to mind. I want to mention quickly, Stuart Lawton just, he's so heavy into service. Relationships weren't great. Had a family trip coming up to Europe at the end of the year and was not looking forward to it at all. Did not think it was gonna go well. Was just kind of a. Almost a box to tick.
It was all booked.
And yeah, now he's over there on that holiday in a completely different frame of mind. Families connecting. Well, he's much calmer, he's present. And the growth he's had in, in a short amount of time has been epic, too. And then one more is Mr. Eddie Cummins. I don't even think he's been in
for two weeks yet.
He's only just started, but he's put the bottle down and he's just. He's just fucking flipped a switch. He's taking action. And he's already getting letters back from his wife saying things like, you know, I feel like I'm getting the man back that I knew from the start, you know, so things like that can be so powerful and I encourage anyone listening that you don't want to. I think any of this is out
of reach for you.
Don't think that you necessarily have to take years and years of work because things can change so quickly. And yeah, so there's a few shout outs I wanted to give to some mighty Spartans and there's.
There's more.
But. But those were just a few that come to mind. The boys are laughing about something. I don't know what the fuck's going on in the chat and I'm glad I closed it.
But yes, it's me also close it right now. Nah, it's. It's pretty epic to see like Ryan Jenkin good example with his little girl riding up a workout on a whiteboard that she's doing it. It's like mate, like just. You guys have no idea like the impact you're having on your children. You know I don't have many post it notes in front of me anymore but I just love having pictures of my family and the members on my vision board with these post notes on my computer. Where you focus your life unfolds. How much can I give with the time that I've left? Build the life that outlives you. My latest one is what example are you setting right now? The right now matters because obviously I'm under the pump at the minute with the family and whatnot. And I'll get Crin on for a podcast so she can hack shit on me and talk about all about my shortcomings. It'll be good laugh for you man. But it's a real thing. It's like hang on, what example am I sitting right now? Because I'm a very powerful man that can squash the situation.
Situation.
But do I want that? Do I want my children to conform or do I want to try and guide them through their own chaos and turbulence now that their life has changed too. They have another sibling, but very inspirational. Love it. Jono. Phenomenal. Eric and I think this would be awesome too. I might actually post this. I think this will be great. Good idea one of you boys had on posting this podcast the video in the community for the men as well. It's. It's because you. You mentioned you do inspire us more than you know. This is hard work but we love it. Like Eric said. You believe we get paid for this. What an honor. What a privilege. But yeah, we'd love some some final thoughts from yourself, Eric.
Yeah, definitely have to do a part two of that. Thanks so much. So Much good stuff there. So, so much, so much wisdom in here. So many shares and so many possibilities for, like, somebody maybe listening and, you know, what's this all about? And we see it and live and breathe it every day. It's pretty. It's pretty awesome. Yeah. How to wrap it up in words. I think it's one of the most important things. And once you're. Once you. Once you see what is possible, you can't really. You can't really go back. I think that's. And doesn't matter how successful you are in life or also it doesn't matter how low you are in life, there's always a way forward. There's always, always the next level. And that's what HPF is really about. And we can see it each and every day. So only got one shot. There was this one quote in the workbook here that says he only got one shot in life, but so does our wife and kids as well. They only got sponsored with us. So, yeah, let's go all in.
Yeah. I love it. It's. It's very true, man. We've got one shot. But. So to those around us who are depending on us, Outstanding. Nate, final thoughts. And Harding and Ed. And we'll wrap it up.
Boys.
My cheeks. These ones, not those ones from laughing in the chat. I've had a really good day. I really enjoy our collective. I am very grateful for every man on the screen. It makes work enjoyable. It means that the mission that we're on is Playful is seeking growth club, and Joy is having a laugh about
it along the way.
And I think we bring that lightness to the collective when we're in the room with the group. Like, we still put on each other when we're on the stage. It doesn't matter where we are. It's just a constant thing. And I think the men really appreciate that. Right. There's no fourth wall. We obliterate every wall. And I think if I can pass anything onto the men today and everyone else is listening to this is. Where are you compromised in your life? What walls are you sort of standing behind and hiding behind? How can you close those loops in your life and move through things and. And get to the next level? So aim higher, go hard. Thank you very much for your time today, Al, and thank you for everyone who listen.
Cheers. Yeah, Amazing. Thank you for your time, bro. I'll go tell you, boys, like, we had some laughs, man, at Cozy Holy. But it's just balanced well. Like most men. Pinocchio on the island with the boys just laughing about that. Yeah. Cool. But in situations that. That it's actually not. It's not. It's not warranted. Right. Yeah, I get the whole. If you don't laugh, you cry.
But.
But no, no. What we had was a beautiful balance and blend instead of jovial, hiding behind humor. At Cozy, I don't know, a few of the boys got me really good. Actually got me very good. It's awesome because like, as men, one of the most valuable tenets and that'll be the next one I've definitely got to do the tenants. For you guys who aren't members and for those who are, as a reminder, it's telling you boys, it is your fucking blueprint for success. It's incredible. One of the most popular ones is seek growth, love and joy. You know, like, I wear this. Yeah. Heart on my sleeve. But wear this, wear this. Mission in deeply ingrained, wrapped around my soul mate. Like, but doesn't mean we can't have a laugh. And I love the. The culture with the coaches here is exceptional, you know, in the way I could do it really well in sports too, with footy teams who didn't become jovial or lose sight of the vision. It's like you can laugh. Okay. Bang. Head in the game. Switch on. Let's. Let's conquer some. I love that, man. And we had that at Cozy too. It was very powerful. Just the emotional. I'm definitely not looking at the chat section right now.
Just.
I'm not even looking at the screen. Just the emotional highs and deeper thoughts. Not lows, but the deeper thinking and feeling was incredible. It was incredible. Conscious of time. I know that the boys have to head off and serve the men's community, but yes. Harding and then Ed would love some final thoughts and then wrap this up. Hope this has really served you all, boys and you've enjoyed the session.
Yes, I suppose just to bring it all together, I think for the men who weren't at Cossi, first and foremost, take the energy forward that the guys are bringing back into the squads that we can project on as well. Well, and guys that aren't members at all, like it's something to take that energy from this too and think about some one liner, some things in here about that. I know all the podcasts have that in there too. Al around taking some gold nuggets out and applying them. But it is that now. It's like the power of right now. What you can do right now in each situation, be present these little 1 percenters taking ownership of what you can do, what you can control. And that's going to serve you so well. And I think most people this time of year especially, right, say, oh, I'll start, start. I'll start January 1st, I'll start next year. It's like, no, that you start now, you implement it now and you start moving forward. So I think as a collective from this session, great energy. Like you said, we have the banter, you know, the last, and it's okay. It's time to get serious and put the work in now. I think that's such a great thing we have here and that's how we all should be, right? I think it's something that we have to have that good balance between those two. And I think that's for any man out there listening to that now, it's like, you know what, you can be serious, you can have some fun, and you've just got to balance it out between all three. So significance there through family, self and service and get that right. So I think for the. For the men on the inside and the outside, definitely take what you need from this session and propel that forward for yourself and your family. And there's been so many phenomenal shares on this now that there'd be something for someone out there to listen to and take forward and really start to apply that in your life. And now, you know, not in January 1st. Like, start to do it now 100%.
20, 20 or 19 days of the year left. Like, don't fucking waste 19 days. Go now. Like immediately. By the time this recording is. Anyway, it's the 12th of the 12th, which squares away your concerns on Angel Numbers and finishing on the right time, Nate. So we should be okay. But you know, like, it's, it's. Man, I absolutely agree. You gotta love. You gotta love it, boys. Like, I'm more grateful for the adversity than I am for the victories because it's, it's. There's something to capitalize on. So the laughs, the humor, seeing the lighter side, but then getting deep and meaningful and. And both of them are valuable tools to. To use. And they're leveraging the timelines. We did a 27 minute visualization at Cozy. Wow, that was. That was epic, man. It was pretty crazy. I'll talk about that on another one. Pretty crazy, though. But then we're laughing, you know, a minute later, and it's, you know, it's. We have to get sponsored by Kleenex next year, I think. But at least we laugh like fucking men. Sorry. At least we cried like fucking men, right? But yes. Yeah, Incredibly powerful. And agree, Reed Harding. Need the balance.
Ed.
Final thoughts. Ben, Community, hpf, Vision, Culture, all the above.
I love it.
Yeah.
Firstly, it's been an awesome, awesome session. Tonight or today? Not tonight, this morning. The podcast. This has been phenomenal. We need to come back on. I've absolutely loved it, you know, doing it with all you guys and. Yeah. And some powerful things on here. Like. Like Harding said, there's so much you can take away from this session to. To lead into the day, into the week, and. And to finish this year strong, which is a huge theme we have at the preseason. Exactly. Like Harding said, we're not fucking waiting until January 15th to get started. It's like, no, no, no. We're on all day, all year. Right. Of course we're not perfect on those days. And then fucking. We're not always switched on to a level where, you know, we're humans at the end of the day. But it's ultimately about, what can I do today to move me forward, regardless of what the date is? And that's what I love. And I think Eric shared at the start, that's what's so powerful about what we do here, is, yes, you can have an amazing, you know, event like Cozy. And so many of my guys have already put on their goals for next year. Get to Cozy five, Right. How good's that? And that just shows you the energy of what's come back to the. To the ecosystem and to, you know, my squad, you know, because I can talk from myself, all the guys, like, I've got to get there. I got to find a way. I've already. Phenomenal. But then it's not about, well, let's wait till November and then see what we can figure out. It's like, well, how can we prepare as a man to then be at another level, to then allow us to go to another level again after Cozy? So it's another foundation, another level that we're building. And what I love is that guys come back and then they're in this. This community. So it's not like, to Eric's point, you go away for a week, and then you go back to real life and you think, got no one supporting me. It's the opposite here. You've got more men than you had at Cozy supporting you, which is phenomenal. So, yes, Cozy. Unbelievable. And these. These events we do, you know, each state over the years and over the year, it's phenomenal. But I always tell my guys don't underestimate the power of the community and the power of, you know, the online world as well, because we have this, this here in this virtual world as well as the, the physical world when we get to those catch ups. So yeah, phenomenal. Fucking. Let's finish strong. That's my best advice I can give to my guys is finish the year strong and then we build a foundation to be bigger and better again in 26. And that's the beauty of this. There's always another level. Whether you're Mick Ledlon, whether you're Chris Lazaridis, you guys are crushing it, or you don't feel you're doing as well as you could be doing, there's always levels and that's, that's life, isn't it? We never stop and sleep when you're dead. Until then, we keep working. Let's go. Go all in.
Love it, Mr. Armstrong. Love it, mate. Powerful finish, powerful finish and yeah, couldn't agree more. It's, it's, you know, whether it's a business, personal health, well being fellas, there's always going to be, there's, there's always going to be growing pains. There's always going to be pain. Is it growing pains, is it stagnation pains? I've just settled. You know, you sit on the fence, you get splinters, right? Is it shrinking pains or you're regressing or moving back and, and, and becoming less in life? So whether it's business, personal relationships, always. So we've got some good growing pains, right? Wow, cozy. How are we gonna, how do we top this? And it's like, well, maybe there's multiple causes, not sure, you know, as the membership grows and we, and we, we build, we want the, the big energy but then the intimacy for all the men. It's, I will say one thing though, it's certainly coupled with when we roll the doc out, but even now it's certainly gonna, you know, light an even bigger fire in these men. And, and that's all thanks to, to the men who came, but also the men who say yes to themselves in the entire community. And, and for me, all of you coaches, all of you boys being here, thank you so much, man. I appreciate you, I appreciate you investing your life and your energy. I speak about this offline a lot, fellas. I don't care as much about my personal relationship with people in valuing that as opposed to their relationship and buying on the mission. And I really mean that like, you know, love you Ed, like a brother. But What I love more is your commitment to the mission, because that's what I'm giving my life to. I know it seems a bit funny or backwards, but it's not. It's like we're both buying into something and that's what I love. Like we're out here hunting life together, which includes helping and serving, supporting those other men who say yes to the alignment we have. So thank you. Thank you, man. You're all great men. John o', Harding, Eric, Nate, you know, it's it. And Ed. Sorry for a second. I'm just kidding. I think Ed will overtake me soon. You'll be the face, mate. You're very well present, well, good speaker, good traps, very well built. Now, all of you guys have exceptional skills that you bring to the party. And. And I just love how we. We're so much better than Captain Planet. We really are. Thank you, boys. Hope you guys enjoy this. Have a. Have an amazing day, night, weekday weekend. Thank you, coaches, for spending the time and yes, we'll absolutely do more. And I'm super excited to take this energy into 20, 26 and beyond. And it's an absolute honor and a privilege to serve you coaches, to have you boys in my life and also to serve this mission. Cozy being one of the greatest takeaways that we focus on today in the community. Thank you, boys. Thank you, guys. Let's fucking go. Take this energy. Run with it it and rip in and make it yours. Because this is your life and it belongs to you and you do deserve what is you desire. Create the vision. Carve out the path. Become that man. And you won't ever look back. I promise you that. Cheers, boys. Thank you, man.
There are so many people in pain at the moment and they're just not opening up. The walls are up. They're too proud. They're focusing on the fake, the facade, social media, everything's okay. My grass is green, but they're not even watering it. The greatest way we can assist that is by sharing this podcast. You can do that by sending them the link or even giving a five star review on Amazon or itunes or Spotify, even on Facebook reviews, this is how we spread the message. I appreciate you and I hope you enjoy this episode coming up. But please, if there's someone out there who, you know, needs to hear these messages and listen to these podcasts, share the link, spread the link, spread the podcast, spread the message. And let's start creating some impact and some change with that ripple effect together. This isn't my legacy. This is our legacy and our time to create impact across the world.
Cheers.
