your counts wrong already.
I'm so sorry about it because. What's that? Is it the return of the Jedi? The Return of the Hutto? I couldn't help myself. Now we've got Mr. Sean Hutton. What a legend. Lee Dorfliger, James. Jimmy Dinan, and Luke the ogob Brian. Great to have on you boys all looking good too. Looking, looking sharp. We're all in our. Our uniforms, got our pimped out blue HPF shirts, chest proud. Looking solid. Yes. Are you looking good? Looking good. Huddy, you smashed, man. I know you've had a few health challenges, but, mate, it was awesome to see you conquer the mountain, boys. What a. What an experience. Speaking of the mountain, did a great session with the coaches the previous session, but I think this one will be fucking heaps better, I think. Did the coaches listen to the podcast? This one's going to be heaps better, man, than the coaches one. I just know it. That'll test them. That'll test them. We'll see if they actually listen to the episodes they're not on. Mr. Hutton, we'll start with you, sir. Mate, you came into Cosby quite skeptical. We've done a podcast which has had huge reach by the way too. Mate. You know, I'm really privileged to be able to serve you, man, and, and honored that you guys share the message. A lot of guys keep to themselves, which is fine and no issue that at all early in the journey, some never before. You guys to be able to share your. Your story is just phenomenal. But how do you find Cosihado like I'd love to start with you mate and get a share on the experience as a whole, what it meant for you. I mean we'll take this wherever it needs to go. I think just like the one I did with the coaches. It's just an awesome time for, for us to have, you know, a panel instead of an hour's insight or me with one guest to, to really dive into and, and, and dissect the HPF way of life. Including what, what is a pinnacle at this stage anyway? You know, in Cosi that we do on an annual basis but so we'll start with you hard on then obviously we'll go around, you boys can dive in because there's some pretty cool shares and there's stuff that the coaches actually shared that I didn't know because it's so big but also so intimate. There's so many little moments, mate, that were just, they were just magic. But yeah, I'll start with you. How do working from. From eldest back down to youngest.
What?
That's two already. Wow, that's good.
You nailed me. But just on that thing absolutely destroyed me in front of 100 men. We're in the cozy, cozy room and just, just dominated. I, I made a silly joke about the first fleet and, and the rest was history, mate. He took the floor and, and wipes me with it. That's what was. Well played. Well done. He got me good.
But that's one of the benefits, I guess if you start something then it sort of opens Father. So I appreciate you giving me the, the heads up and, and go for it. That was good.
It was six months in the making too Hutto.
Yeah, yeah. A lot of script writing and stuff. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Hy. Wow. Where do you, where do you start? It's a, it was an amazing experience. I found. I said a little bit of a share recently how concentrated it was with all of the guys there. The shares that we did, just, just getting together with like minded guys that were all on the same journey that really didn't understand where they were. I think it was kind of a really great forum for everyone to just open up and share their journeys. Every conversation you had with someone was a really deep one. It was a, it was a, quite a. Quite a novel thing where you don't get that in, in day to day even in a HPF catch up. So you still tend to find you've only got a couple of hours. So you go to a certain, to a certain level of depth I guess. But at Cosi you're living with each other like, you know, you rock up. The first thing I did was I got roomed with a stranger and I thought, oh, this was, this is different. So, you know, you introduce yourself and before you know it, you're talking about how you, you came into hpf. What were the, what were the things that, that drew you to HPF in the first place? What are you getting out of hpf? You know, what do you hope to get out of the weekend? It was just all these, all these prompts that come naturally and the growth that we, we shared just in that first couple of hours, just unpacking in the room, I thought, wow, this is, this is going to be an amazing experience. And, you know, we've. We've heard a bit. It's my first cozy, so we've heard a bit from the guys that were there last year. So kind of had a bit of an idea of how mind altering, if you like, or how, how much you grow during this, this, this, this, this show, this, this event. But to really experience you can grow yourself, I had no idea the level that you could go to so quickly. You know, I was carrying some baggage when I came in. One of the things we did was to leave some baggage. There was one of the things we had to try and process, and I left that and some. It actually opened up a whole new door to me, to a whole different area where I kind of start now to understand why it was even carrying that baggage around. So it was a. It was like jumping ahead two years.
It was a.
It was a very concentrated experience for me. You know, the workshops were fantastic. They really got you thinking. The first one we did, I think we're only there an hour or two hours or something, and I already had hay fever like I was. I got the first visualization down. That really affected me, the share we had at the table afterwards, I. I was really quite surprised how quickly it knocked down all my armor and to go back from there to our free time where we could just debrief some of this without everyone around, just a bit of a more intimate setting. We went back to the house. I think it was eight guys. Big Jimmy was there. We had some really valuable conversations about what we just witnessed and processed ourselves. That, to me was so valuable in, like I say, I call it a debrief because it's, It's. We sort of. We're analyzing how we're feeling and getting those other seven men's perception on where we thought that was taking us. It was Just a, it was just a bit of a mind blowing experience for me in that, in that environment and to be able to offer support and some guidance to the other guys with their stories too, you know. So I came from a place where the pain wasn't as deep as some of the guys that were there. So it was good to be able to share some of my experiences that I've had. Some guys that hadn't been in HPF as long as I have, there's guys that had been longer. So there was just a real brotherhood, real bond that we all had together. I'd find it really hard to explain quickly. I don't know if you've noticed, but it's, it's something that has changed my life and I've taken everything from that week and really applied it now and it's actually changed. Lee uses the term energy. It's really changed my energy around everyone and I find a lot of people now starting to get, are attracted to come talk to me about things like, like, you know, some of their problems and that's, that's something I've been able to take as a bit of a, a power from that event and try and instill into others. So yeah, I don't know quite how that came to be, but whether it's just that I've been able to let my baggage go to a degree or whether it's something I've learned along the journey that's, you know, that's evolved me to that, that next level and allow that next level level of energy to be, you know, to pour out of me. I'm not quite sure, but amazing experience. I can't wait for next year. I just listened to the, and watched the doco on the way home while I was driving from last year. So I can't wait for this year's doco to come out and, and yeah, just relive it, you know, just the music, the talk to the people, it just, it takes you straight back to it. It's, it's a, yeah, it was a, it was a mind blowing experience for me and I, I'm, I'm really looking forward to, to the next one.
Amazing share, man. And the, the, the music. One of the guys flicked me a message with a screenshot of the playlist and I think it was just the workbook playlists. Right. So for those who wouldn't have known, we obviously we have different types of music and whatnot. We did a couple of powerful visualizations. One, and look, I've not NLP Trained or done timeline therapy or anything. But that's what I love most about this guys. Like my, my presenting or how I present and do things is purely based off intuitive feedback on what you men are calling for. And so I feel so, so lucky that I've also been distracted with things like, you know, trying to make supplements companies and all that sort of shit back in the past. Like just being so in tune with you guys is, is, is what I, what I really find to be the greatest key to serving. Not, not all these fucking books behind me and stuff like that. And that's what I've learned as well. The greatest leaders are actually the greatest students. And um, you know, so I get this message from Mick, Mick Napo about going back and immersing into it when he's listening to the playlist. So we shared all the different playlists out on Spotify. One of those visualizations was a 27 minute piece which I don't know if I'll share what we actually did, but we'll see because it was quite personal, intimate and a good one to keep up our sleeve as well. But you bang on Hutto about how deep, how quickly you can go. So deep. I didn't, I didn't recheck but at the start of every, at the start of Cozy I said hey, you will change in 100 hours. I didn't check on the Monday on and ask the question how do you feel? But we didn't need to. Like it's incredible man. Just the changes and like you said, room is a stranger quote unquote. But excuse me, you become brothers. It's like a brotherhood right away. It's, it's so powerful man. That's what I love most, how quickly the guys connected and it's just like everyone has their retreats and it's not. We're not here doing mushrooms or other things like. No, no, we, we've built a foundation of what we represent. Albeit over 100 catch ups already across Australia. Both HPF endorsed, run and or supported by members, squad leaders and coaches. So that's pretty awesome. So I wouldn't say we're an online movement, but further that laying the slab. You've got that but then you've also got. So you got that which is cozy 4.0 and then you've got what you can now action after. That's the beautiful part about this. You know, it's, it's, it becomes a fundamental part of your life which gives you a nice lift on energy which is spot on one Thing just before I go to. To you, Luke. Cause I'd love to get your shares too, mate. Is. If only it was so easy, man, for me to run an ad that just talks about the depth and the spirit and the soul of a man and what he can carve out in this, knowing that it's so limited. And I look on my background screensaver is now my four children here, the most latest being Flossy, who's four weeks today. And it's like, man, we get so caught up in the chaos and the bush of the world that instead of being a spirit that embodies the man, we're a man that is losing the spirit in us and just trying to fight and survive and make money and keep the peace in the household and keep. Connect with our misses and. And rinse and repeat. But it's not. So that's what. What I love about Coy as an immersive experience. Hutto. Because what we start with, men, is, is even in HPF in general is the real tangible drivers, okay? We're going to get structure in your. In. In your life. We're going to build your capacity and health and well being. We're going to develop skills on communication. So what I've learned over the years is you got to give the man what he wants first before you give him what he needs and he listens. And that's what I love about Cozy. Yeah, we give you what you want, you come into HPF wanting and desiring A, B, C and X, Y, Z inside of your life. Which varies, right? Burnt out provider, disconnected husband, overwhelmed father. All of the above are spread across them all stagnating. In life, there's not limitless. There's a few core patterns that you come in for. This is what I want. So we'll give you that in our service. But then what I love about Cozy is fuck, man. Right between the eyes for all of us. We get exactly what we need. And that's something that, um. You know what pisses me off the most, actually. I've got to wait a month and a half for this documentary because it's so powerful, man. And. But even then, the last year's doco won't even be close to this one. But even then, all of us will watch it when we premiere at that night, which will probably be in February, and, And from there, it'll be sensational.
Why?
Because you're reliving it all. But even then, right after it, you'll all say the same thing. Wow, that doco Is phenomenal, but it's not even close to what we experience when we're there, which is crazy, but love it, mate. Great, great opener, Hudo. And man, you added so much value to, to cozy as well. So much wisdom, man. Luke, how about you, mate? How'd you find it? Mate?
It was outstanding, life changing, phenomenal. All the big words. I think Hutto wrapped it up nicely in his 20 minute intro. But yeah, when I, when I first joined, which is coming up 12 months ago, the first in person catch up I had up here with another member. He'd been to Cosby last year and I was like, oh, what was it like? Because I, you know, I just joined. I'm hearing all this because it was January and you know, he'd just been in November, so it was pretty fresh. And he was like, it was like getting 12 months of HPF in a weekend, you know, three, four days. It was that much sort of growth coming out of it. I'm like, how does that work? But anyway, I was pretty, pretty excited going into it, but trying to keep the expectations under wraps as well because you're saying, you know, you're not gonna, you won't expect what we're gonna get out of it anyway, so come in, you know, with an open mind. And yeah, coming into it, I, I thought it was gonna be great, but I just had no idea of what it was gonna be like and the depth that we got out of it. Like, I flew, I'm in Darwin and I flew down to Melbourne so I could have a seven hour road trip up to Cossey with two of, two of my mates from hpf shout out to Chris and Lucas and just like from the second that we met in person, I've spoke to Chris every week probably since I've joined. We joined at the same time and Lucas, we've probably only been on the phone three or four times. We were linked up in one of the challenges we had earlier in the year. And mate, from the moment we jumped in the car together, we just, we went as deep as you like as you can. Yeah, deep dark secrets where we're struggling, what we're aiming to, you know, fix. And it just straight away, the power in that. And we had seven hours of that before we got there. And then multiplied that by 50 with, you know, 100 blokes instead of two blokes I'm talking to. And that was, yeah, same thing. When we got to our house, we had six in our household. And, you know, through Hongi, I'd Seen plenty of online but hadn't met. But yeah, two other boys that I had not. Yeah, didn't even know their names sort of things. And we were actually, we swapped a room around before they got there because like, oh, you know, don't know this guy. And then by the end of it, again, we know all our secrets. We were, you know, everything down to the most intimate detail. And like you say, it's a real brotherhood and that that's after five days of sharing a, sharing a house with. And yeah, that, that was the biggest part for me. Oh, geez, I don't know there was that many big parts. But yeah, the brotherhood that, that came out of it. And also just the progression of the workshops right up to the, the 27 minute visualization we did on the Monday which answered so many questions that I, that had been raised just over the five days we were there. Like I struggled in the first workshop, the first visualization that Hutto got so much out of. I was sort of like, oh, I didn't sort of see too much there and I was, you know, oh, you know, I want to go deep and not, not getting the answers. But then every session you got further in. You go back through the workbook and you're like, oh, hang on now I've got more to add to the, you know, page one and two from the day before. And yeah, come to the last day on the Monday where I think, I don't know what it was, but it was dust or hay fever or something through the whole room and there was a hundred blokes that just sniffling away. I don't know what that was. But yeah, answer a lot of questions, but probably raised, raised, raised more questions than, than answers, but in a great way because we're forever learning and growing and asking more questions. And yeah, it's. I met a brand new member this morning. Caught up in person, went for coffee. He joined last week and he was like, oh, did you make it to Cosby and how was it? And you know, trying to explain to her like, mate, it's just, it's so hard to put into words when you weren't there. But that's, it's just, yeah, I've come home and it feels like we've, we've all leveled up again, which has sort of been hard because normal life is, you know, here, not, not that we're better than, but you just see so much more out there. And yeah, whenever I catch up with any of these boys that are on the, on the call with Us now or the other guys that were there. It's. Yeah, it's just a shared, shared leveling up. It's been amazing.
It's the, it's what I was saying to the coach as well. It's like the frequency of the rest of the world, right? It's like, okay, cool. Welcome back. Come back down to where we're at. He's. He'. His chaos and sedation, distraction and all the other bullshit that comes with it. So it's not people's fault. It's just a collective consciousness of how the world operates is why I love hpf. And just hearing the odd share of like a member was walking through the shops and he saw another dad with a HPF shirt on, with HPF hat on, going for a run. And that's awesome. Imagine when that becomes just a common thing, which I believe it will, you know, throughout society and in our mission in wanting to serve and change society. Because it is tough, man. I didn't have that because I came home really crook with a bad throat infection right away and, and little Flossy not sleeping. So there wasn't really a. There wasn't a high. There was a massive crash. But it's. But the years beforehand, I wouldn't say fight, but yeah, Korean and I will clash every single time, man. And it's because of that, because most people, man or woman, child or adult, they. They're just looking to survive every day. Even if you're successful or have money, that doesn't matter. Like you are just trying to survive every day. It's like, how can I just get through the day? That's what survive means. It doesn't mean not die. It means how can I just survive throughout the day and just, Just complete it? Just. Just check a box. And then what that then becomes is the, the. The childlike tantrum, which then flips another 180, which is why people will drink every night, watch TV every night and get all. I'm gonna get me back. I'm gonna get some of me back now this is my time. So I'm gonna watch a movie till 12 o' clock or, you know, drink half bourbon or scotch.
It's like, wow.
That's what we head back into, unfortunately. Whether it's intimately in our family's lives with your children drink alcohol, but they're going crazy. It's chaos. And then the rest of the rest of the world. So definitely what he's saying there, man, the old hay fever, at least we cried like men, but it was pretty Powerful, mate. It really was the vision, the path for man. And just the way that it works. It's not a linear thing, is it? It's like cycles, Luke. That's what I found, anyway. It's like a bit of vision, then the man, but then the path which is driving the purpose, and then vision, then purpose, then vision, then man. Man. And purpose is incredible, man. The first visualization, I was trying to keep it as simple as possible. Last one. But this is what I love about. About you guys as well, and. And just the collective consciousness that we represent in hbf. That's what I believe, anyway. I believe that I'm a representation of what you guys have called for, and I feel honored to serve that. I don't. I don't care for the name. Yeah, Alex. It's about HPF and what it means, but there's real risks, you know, I'm strong, competent, confident man, but it's like, okay, I'm gonna plan a visualization that me, personally, I couldn't get through. I did that visualization practice because I'm working timings and music and all that, and the only way to see if it'll land is to see if it fucking lands with you first, right? So I'm sitting there. This is a. I don't know. I haven't even shared this with them, but I'm sitting there, boys, and I'm doing it pre cozy in the car on the way down, because that's when I like to select my final music, because I'm just in the car with. Typically with ads, cruising down. And then actually I would have been four or five times, man. I couldn't make it through. I broke down every single one of them, you know, And. And it's. It's. It was crazy, you know, And. And I'm like, all right, so how am I going to keep it together and then put all the guys through this on Monday? Six days in, completely fatigued and exhausted. I woke Monday, man. I woke up Monday, which happens all the time. I stopped wearing my whoop after, like, day two, so I don't want to know my sleep scores, boys. I woke up Monday, and I was. I got out of bed with it again. I had migraines probably three days in a row. We had to flip everything around, which was. Which was pretty hectic in itself. Pulled it off. But Monday morning, I woke up and I just. I looked up to the heavens. I'm like, oh, man, how am I going to get through this morning part? I'm cooked, you know? The power of the tribe, the energy, as Hado mentioned, the frequency. And that's the hardest part though, isn't it, Luke? Even with members, it's like. It's not like we're trying to be cryptic. I can walk you through it all. We had itineraries, had the boys shooting, the archery. They were shooting like make believe animals. We did a butchery session, ate amazing food. We did the climb, which was epic. We did workshops on what they actually want to achieve in their life, vision and their destiny. So when you start talking through the features, quote unquote, you sort of like start to compare it like a commodity, like, oh yeah, goal setting. Yeah, I get that. Oh, you're talking about habits. Yeah, I get that. It's like, no, man, you don't get it. But that's the skeleton, the magic is all of you men. And that's. That was the beauty. Everything is get filled in. In between you have this massive breakthrough. Guy shares this thing in a workshop. Another guy shares a huge hardship in how he broke through and then you catch up with him and you talk about that and then. So it's like you're ascending and climbing with these men physically, mentally, emotionally and even spiritually to, to really go. To go to another level that otherwise it's just impossible on your own and even with your family because they're not all men like you going out to, to get out in the world and, and hunt. And how did you find the climb, Luke? What was. That was pretty, that was pretty hectic, man, with the snow and everything. And again, speaking of energy, 100 men at the top of the mountain. How. How'd you find the climb as well? And just the pump, the boys just charging, marching up there. It's pretty cool.
Yeah, the climb, climb was really, really good. Like it was, it was a tough start into the, the steps on the. What was it? The merits track, I think. Yeah, step after step after step after step. So, yeah, breaking into the wife's gym a couple of times to hit the stepper with the weight mess was. Was the right move. Getting some training in, but it was pretty sustained for the first section there. And just. Yeah, just all the guys getting around one another, you know, pushing them on the, the positive camaraderie and backing each other up or, you know, waiting for someone while I catch their breath, like it didn't matter. There was a couple of guys that ran it and you know, a couple of guys that didn't, you know, that took hours longer than everyone else to get there. But it didn't matter. Everyone was rooting for each other and just the caliber of the guys that were there was, was a big thing like you've got, you know, multi, multi, multi millionaires there and Olympians and you know, everything in, like in between, down, not down to, but like, you know, we've got farmers, we've got business owners. There's, there's everything there, the stay at home dads and you know, but there's no rank between the men either. Like there's just, there's no, like I say, there's no big dick swinging in there. It's doesn't matter your circumstance and you don't get that outside of hpf. I think like in society it's like, oh, I'm worth 10 million bucks. I'm not, you know, hanging out with this guy. But you can talk to someone worth 10 million bucks in there and they're, you know, you're both talking about how you struggle with your wife and intimacy and stuff, you know, these sort of things. So we're all the same. It's been, it was a great equalizer and I don't mean bringing everyone down to a level. It was all where we're all going up to the same level, which was, was cool. But yeah, the climb when the weather turned on us and when we got up into the exposed sections and trudging across the, the slopey ice and slipping and you're looking down thinking, geez, I'm going to go a fair way here if I put a foot wrong. Like it wasn't climbing mount Ever, but there was a few sketchy parts there. And then yeah, I looked up at the end, I didn't even think we were close to the top. Looked up and here's the pinnacle at the top and I'm like, holy hell. And just the energy there with everyone, like it wasn't just a physical feat of climbing the mountain. It was, you know, there was some pretty powerful stuff that went on up the top there for a lot of guys. I think I spoke with ads afterwards that I came into cossie without. I didn't think I had sort of too much baggage to leave behind there. Like a lot of guys did, you know, life's pretty good, good circumstances. But I said afterwards that like, yeah, I took so much away from the top of the mountain. Just seeing what some guys have overcome and what they let go and you know, the pledges they made to themselves and the family and the other guys and like just so powerful. Seeing Aiden up the top There, like, how good was that? I met him in Brisbane, I think only briefly. And I think he said, yeah, I'll. I'll see you at Cozy. And I'm like, yeah, mate, I'll see you there. Sort of, you know, no one knew how he'd be doing. And then to see him at the Tough, like, you know, I had tears in my eyes and, you know, I barely know the man. But just those sort of stories, like, how can you not get pumped? You know, and then the shares afterwards, when we come back down in that room. Some of the shares of the dark places men have been, you know, not too long ago, with the likes of Darren and, you know, the stories they were sharing and like, to be where they are now in a few short months, just full credit to HPF and the tribe of men around them, like, it's just phenomenal. And how can you not. How can you not, you know, change your world? When you're looking at guys changing their world so profoundly, like, yeah.
Yes.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
Just want to jump in on that look. Yeah. HBF is a true brotherhood of men from all walks of life. Doesn't matter where you come from, what profession. We're all one. We're all worth it. And there's so many men, you know, thinking they don't really fit in, realizing, you know, they're worth it. We all fit in. We're all trying to be better, be the best we can. So, yeah, that's where HBF is so good. It's a real honest, open brotherhood.
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. And just open, like, talking. You know, a few of the boys, they've got pretty sizable companies, you know, 50 staff and all that sort of thing. And, mate, everything was on the table. Like, where they've struggled, where they're doing well. What's, you know, like. Like talking to blokes that you sort of don't think you have access to normally, or if you walk up to them in the street, they're sort of, you know, you can't ask them these sort of, you know, personal questions, but it's like everything's on the table, which is just unreal because it's such. Such a safe space, you know, Like, I'm not jumping on Facebook afterwards going, oh, I met this guy, and he's doing this and saying that, like, it's, you know, this is the. The trust in there is. Is next world. Like, it's. It's so.
And they got so much benefit from us as well, just being us true selves. Yeah. Being honest with them, our struggles and them learning, too. They've missed out building their careers on kind of the common purpose of life.
Yeah, yeah. Family, you know, it's typical, isn't it? Men put so much into service and work and everything, and. And the family side of things slips and, you know, next thing, they're. They're in their 40s, 50s, 90s, like Hutto. And, you know, they're. They look, they turn around. Not in your case, Hutto, but turn around. And the families abandoned them sort of thing, and for good reason. And. Yeah, so money's not everything. Work's not everything. They've got their issues. And to me, that's a bigger issue, having your family, you know, separating from your family than it is, say, not having a flash career with, you know, hundreds of thousands of dollars every year coming in the door.
Yeah.
So, yeah, yeah, I think that's the thing too, right. Where it's like every. Every man has his is his cross to bear. So you got guys who. Life might have knocked you down in a couple of different areas, and maybe one is financially. So you might not be, quote unquote, super wealthy, but also the tribe's here to lift you up and to rebuild you into who you can become because you can develop skill sets, you can add more value to the market place, fill the circle of service in a better fashion, and enjoy the rewards. But what I love about HPF is it's family, self, and service. It's not about bringing down or when you mentioned it, glossy, spot on. Look, it's about everyone rising up to the highest level, where a lot of the men who have been successful, albeit international sports and. Or fame, stardom, money, all these things that are quite ego, not driven by ego, but egocentrically recognized. So it's not their fault either. That was their animal to hunt in life. What I love about them is they. They all carry the humility, but still the hunger and ambition to want to be more. I mentioned Mick in, In the session with the boys, how he's like, yeah, he's got everything and done everything, you know, in the world and. But now he's so excited because in his early 60s, he's found the greatest project he can work on himself. Did he get better since he was 20? Of course he did, but actually approach him working on himself across all aspects of life, not just, how can I make. Build more buildings and make more. More money. Really love that. That's what I love about you too, Hutter. I mean, Hutto's obviously in his 50s. But the men, as they're older, is that they get very rigid. Like, it's very hard to. Well, he's. Aren't you. I think Hutto's 54 decades old.
No, 55. Who's counting? 56 in a minute.
So, yeah, 56 decades. So.
Family, self and surface. In the book, one of the best quotes is family, self, service and soul build your soul purpose.
And that's the stuff that we, we just bit by bit, layer by layer, we work on with these men over time. Not trying to, like I said, go crazy with, with, with all respect, go crazy with meditations. Other ways to evoke chemical reactions in a human or emotional state is like we, we really build. We have peaks like Cosby, but we really build the man family, self, service and. Yeah, so the spirit of the man matters. But it is true, Hutter, like, the older guys are just. They, they. They've got so much life left to live, yet they just bail. And so that's what I love about, about all of you, man. But more notably someone like yourself who's even pulled the trigger. Come to cozy and gone. Gone all into. It's pretty, pretty epic.
Interesting for older guys. I know a lot of older guys, obviously my age, my peers, and that they're very set in their ways. It's a very established behavioral system they've got running. Whether that is helping them or they're in a bad place, it's. They're very resistant to change because they know better. You know, it's the, it's the way. It's the way that's got them to where they are now. So why would they change it? Why would they want to seek something else? You know, whatever path they're on, that's what they've built for themselves. So whether that's an ego thing or whether it's just stubbornness, I'm not sure quite what that is. Is it fear because of, you know, you're getting to that later. Second half of your life. And that's all it is, right? Like if you were to have Perhaps live to 100, you're only in your second half. You only just ticked over. So if you live to 80, well, you. You're into your second, third, you know, it's not. It's not. There's still plenty of life to add value to those around you, and particularly for your family, to make sure that you're there for as long as you can be to guide them through the. Through the stormy times. So, yeah, I think you're Absolutely fucking mental if you don't do it. So you're mad.
Yeah. And just to add to that, talking about mick like he's 62 or whatever and he finished his first season and he thought he'd gotten awesome results in the first 12 months and then chose not to continue on for a second season. And then, you know, he'd met a new partner, it was going steady. He'd sort of felt that he'd fixed the issues that, that he. That he had. And then two weeks out of HPF again, he's ringing. Al, can I have that invoice, please? I want back in. And yeah, joined back in because he sort of realized quite quickly. Hang on, there's still. There's so much more here to, to keep, you know, keep going and growing. And yeah, he's a very established man that you'd look at him and think he's got everything, everything a man needs. But, yeah, there's always more. And it's a credit to him to. To dive back into it. And he's going so hard now. It's awesome to see.
Absolutely. That's what I love about what we've been building and rolling out next year. Just, I guess, building a legacy path for all of our members too, which. Which they'll have. The coaches will talk to you guys about that, which is just going to be epic, man, because it's, you know, it's. It matters. Having. Having the halo and having a core group of men that do want to continue being part of this community and see the value in each other and the brotherhood, it's. It's something that I value, you know, and I. I love and. And live every single day. Live and breathe. The business of HPF is the blood that keeps the organism alive and flowing. Sure. But fuck me, man. Like, that's not mission first. You gotta be. If this is for all you guys, whether you're running your own business or employee, you gotta be fucking mission first, man.
Not.
Not money, you know, mission first. And. And I have a look like, mate, I hope I live for a long time, but I have a look around, mate, I die a happy man tomorrow. In, In. In my humble living and what we do. I spend a lot of money on meat. I don't mind that. But yeah, mate, I actually enjoy. I don't think much would change if I was a billionaire. I just keep building hbf. It's fucking awesome. And continue to look after the family, make sure they've got what they need. But even with my kids, I'll make sure they earn the right to Hardo's point. It never ends. I want to be the greatest grandfather I can. Why would you stop? Why would you stop at 50? Why would you stop at 70? Like mates, like my parents and my in laws would struggle with my kids at the park, it's like, no, no. I want to be, you know, I'll probably have like blade runners by then for legs, but I want to be able to run my grandchildren down and make sure they don't go out on the road. I want to be fit as fuck. I want to be that grandfather that not for ego status. They look up at me, but look at me and go, wow, Grant, it's energy. Like what you said, Haro. It's energy, man. You're a grandfather who's fit, sharp, witty, connected. You know what each of your grandkids values. You can provide value through their eyes. Bang. There's your connection point. Like that stuff, man, that's. How would that make you feel compared to the rest of the world, that is in their final days, so to speak. They're already gone. They're just not buried yet. It's crazy. But that guard of honor, I will say that Luke at the top of the mountain, that was crazy. Like, we got it there and all the boys are just all lined up. They're all lined up on the side just cheering you through all that was sick. That was phenomenal. But. But yes, Jimmy, you got Jimmy and Lee Dorfliger. I told you, it goes quick, man.
This is.
This is unreal. But great to have all of you on. But we'll have obviously shorter sharper. Shorter, sharper dialogue in a second or conversation. But Jimmy, mate, you. You're a beast compared to last year. And last year you became a beast compared to when you joined, man, you just don't stop, mate. So stop. How was it for you?
Yeah, it was so different to last year. Last year it kind of my first season getting back in on hbf. And when I joined up Cossey, I hadn't worked out for 20 years. I was pretty bad shape, way overweight. So yeah, I didn't want to embarrass myself. Last year, that was my key goal, getting up that mountain. And it was so powerful getting up there last year. And now the star of the squad leaders in hbf, what we're all in this year. And that just the power of you guys giving us that freedom to help other men give back is so powerful. And that's why I wanted to get out of cozy this year is give them all the wins. We've got our HBF to share and every man there. The power of Cozy this year was just a raw, honest brotherhood, but of just open hearts and men being total, totally honest with each other and going deep. And yeah, we all, all were there for a reason. It's just so powerful. Words can't describe it really, but it's just there's nowhere else in the world that can be, you know, that many men just being honest and open and sharing real hurtful and painful things and helping each other by doing that was, yeah, very emotional. A lot of hay fever the whole weekend. And Monday morning now it's wrecked. And that song by Pearl Jam, present tense. I got straight in the car, drove back to Melbourne. It's about two hours to the border. Went straight through Cozy Oscar national park and just had that repeat for more than two hours. So it's the most played song ever in my life already. Yeah, I love it. So that just kind of brings back memories of that all the time. But yeah, Cozy is just sensational. Like I said, I want to be signed up for life. I'm back there already. It's my goal for next year is Cozy again. It's just so powerful for everyone's journey in hbf. And like said to you, we said, when men get together, HBF is a playbook, the workbook. We all learn all the courses. Everything in HBF is so powerful and, you know, I've got tens of thousands of things out of it. But just when we all get together and especially we're all there for a reason for our own different journeys. But just help to share. And all the campfire chats biggest highlight was, yeah, the campfire chat that night where we all broke into groups and shared our kind of most painful thing. We want to leave on top of the mountain. That was just so powerful. And I shared some things I didn't really know that was in me and just other men sharing was so helpful and helped me in my life. Yeah, the campfire chats, the snowflake chats on the mountain in the snow, walking up there with men, just the room roommate chat. That really helped me. Over in Rob Edwards, we're kind of similar, but he's probably a bit more reserved, a bit more quieter than I am, a little bit out there. But yeah, he was so helpful. I chatted to him the other day. We've had a phone call, so we're mates for life already. Again, just the friendships he built. Cozy was, yeah, amazing with all These men, we had a circle together with coach Eric as well, which is. We're all never going to forget it. So, so powerful. Cozy. Thank you. Can't wait for next year.
You're all titans, all very powerful titans here on this session. The, yeah, it's, it's the, the shedding and, and Jimmy, like I said mate, I mean you, you got titan of the year last year and you've grown even more again this year, which is, which has just been spectacular man. To see it really is because one of the saddest things is when you see people settle. I just, I don't like it when I see men in HPF settle which is why we're here. We put a fucking rocket up each other. You've got the squad leaders, you've got the coaches, you've got the tribe, the events, you know, and all the catch ups we do to just keep fucking going man. Like do we reflect, take time and all that? Sort of course. But it's not like it's high intensity all the time. But yeah, you never stop going and growing man. You've got to keep going and growing. You know, Aiden's a good example. Like you're mentioning Luke like that hit. That dude was pretty frail. Like Aiden was pretty frail at Brisbane. I remember giving him a hug and I was like, oh man, this dude's struggling. He's didn't have a lot of life to give. Even though he made the effort, he came, he gave a beautiful share and I think he was right in the middle of therapy as well or a round of chemo or just finished one or is about to start another one. It was tough for him and then there he was just, just ripping in. The shedding's important though fellas. Like we talk about like you can't, you can't build who you want to become. You can't build the path to the vision shackled. So the process of cozy was, hey, like whether it's day one or day six varied from four to six days depending on what packages boys chose. But yeah, whether it's first day or last day, there's something here you must leave to die. You need to fucking remove it. You need to cut the cancer out and fuck it off so it doesn't hold you back anymore and you can build. So that's just really important to note. Like it's for all of you. It's not about pride or being tough or all of you have history and shit that you're not proud of and stuff. You need to remove Whether it's been self evoked, invoked or experiences you felt from others, cut that away and then we get to work. So it was quite a powerful thing where we would come back and forward and back and forward. But it was like, let's keep cutting, let's keep cutting away and then let's keep reshaping. And it was. You guys were inspirational actually because you can write all the best questions and have all the workbooks and present well, but it doesn't mean shit if the, if the men don't have mine and follow through.
Yeah.
Just to jump in there and add to that. I mentioned before that, you know, I sort of didn't feel like I had a lot to leave on the mountain, that things were pretty good. But that was just, that was the beginning of, of Cozy and by the end of it like there was a lot that I left there just by going deeper. And it was like I sort of went into it and even the shares of other guys and I, when I was talking ads after Cozy and I was sort of like, I'm in a weird way I'm sort of jealous of these guys that have got these massive comeback stories that they've, you know, overcome these massive hurdles because I haven't had to. I said that's a shit thing to wish for myself to go through the pain that these other men have gone through. But. But yeah, just by going deeper over each day, like the, you know, building more and more depth and realizing that there, there was some baggage there that I had to let go of. And that was really, really powerful to come into it thinking everything's peachy and you know, I hope it's going to be a great time and let's see what happens to actually, yeah, going, going deeper and finding those things that were holding me back. So yeah, and it's been really good post cossie, like with letting some of that stuff go and you know, some realization. So yeah, it was, it just kept going deeper and deeper as it went on, which was cool.
Well then it becomes a state of remembering like, wow, I fucking held onto all that sort of shit. What is it? Which was part of the visualization. What does a little boy in me see when I was that little boy, like I've got a couple, not extensive but a couple of vivid memories was that little boy. But I use that as fuel. Like just my old man saying you can do anything you put your mind to. Like that sounds so basic. And my mum buying me a little cowboys and Indians said and just telling me how Much. I'm like, you are loved and you're a blessing and a gift from God. Like, just little things like that, like six years old, man. But then it becomes Life makes you heavy. Yeah. It's like your body fills up with metals. Yes. You got to cleanse and detoxify from. So not powerful stuff. Luke Lee Dorfliger, AKA Sensei. Mate, I'm just gonna kick back and just let you roll for the next 63 minutes straight, if you like, mate, because you've been very patient and, well, reserved, but, I mean, you've got some outstanding men with you, so it's been all wisdom. I'll speak less, but mate would love some of your shares. Lee was our titan of the Year and Eric had a hard job. Just between you four and I, because I'm looking at these men and you all had an amazing year as well. And so I don't envy him on the. On the selection, but all of you had a sensational year. But. But Lee, it was awesome, mate, that you came to Cozy. I still remember our first call, like, was yesterday, mate. And man, like, I'm so. I'm so glad that the shadow was no more and the real Lee Dorfley came out. Because, mate, you're just. Yeah, leaps and bounds, man.
Yeah, it's. It's a lot to unpack. I've sort of. It's funny because it's. It's. Yeah, it's. It's a retreat. We all go there together and we have this, you know, incredible venue, you know, middle of the. Middle of the. Sort of the thread bow ranges. Beautiful environment, incredible food, and then, of course, all these inspirational men around. And so this is the kind of a crucible for, you know, a catalyst for change. But it's. It's so much to unpack that I still. I. Every so often, I appear at a page of my workbook, which we've got these amazing workbooks, and I think four or five sections to them, and I just look at one page of it and then I'm away for the next sort of five or six hours with it. That one page that I filled out rolling in the back of my head and all the little nuances and strategies inside of that, just that one piece of writing that we did on one particular visualization or one particular event, right down to even Matt Lehman, who I was staying with, you know, we both thought that it was part of the strategy to actually pair us up together in the same house, because if we would get back and we would be kind of pretty exhausted from the day's activities. And then for the next four hours, we would be there kind of having a pajama party together where we were having this big, long, deep discussions about, you know, the problems that we face as fathers, as husbands, and. And we had so much in common. It was. It's just the whole experience is amazing how it can take someone. And in the first hour, you break them down to their basic roots and you explore that, what makes them tick? And. And where are all their aspects coming from? Where are their traumas coming from? Where are their hurts coming from? And then it's about how they're holding. They're holding the man back. And then there's kind of the stepping stone to now we have that. We've dealt with that, and we're now going to let that go on the top of the mountain. And now we're going to actually create this kind of, you know, the frequency of faith creates that fearless outcome. We're going to start having all these men. All these men all having this fearless outcome and making decisions for themselves and inside of their life where there's nothing holding them back. They're all. They're all kind of just limitless. And so it's not a small topic to unpack. I'm. I'm pretty. You know, I'm pretty excited about the things that I've. I've kind of realized inside of it, and the things that I. I get to discuss with the other men as well, which is pretty. Yeah, it's pretty. Pretty amazing. That topic that Sean brought up, that we believe we're right, we get to a certain age and we've got all these precedents set in place, and these are the things we're very sure of. This is how this is. Because historical values suggest that this is going to play out the same way. And then to discover that actually we're not right about everything and we can explore why we're not right and how it would look from different angles and in fact, what would happen if we didn't make a decision at all. And we actually started to input, you know, different. Different aspects of it and have a different future value instead of just relying on what we've always done and. And then what's possible, you know, how. How far can we actually go? So it's a pretty. It's pretty exciting. I. I got a hell of a lot, probably. I mean, apart from all of the, you know, I felt like a complete imposter there, to be fair. All these amazing guys around all with these really inspirational stories. But probably one of the biggest highlights of my time was actually the snow traverse, which we got up to within a kilometer of the actual top and the path had been blocked with, I would say, sort of a good 60 degree slope of snow. And you had just a two or two footstep wide path that we had to traverse across this piece of snow. This. Something completely intimidating for me. I would have in fact reached that point. And if I was on my own, I would have more than likely turned around and gone back down. I wouldn't have persevered and gone through and I was on my own, but I could feel the strength of everyone around me. So I put my head down and I traversed across the snow and every so often I would lift my head up and look down down the slope and the slope disappeared into the kind of, you know, the clouds. And if we slip down there, you die. And if you, if you don't keep going, you're just going to be stuck on this tiny little pathway. And so just marched across this pathway and I got to the other side and I realized that I had done that for myself. And so I didn't need to be afraid of everything else in my life and I didn't need to have anxiety about everything else in my life. So that for me was something that, just traversing that little piece of the path was something that was really a catalyst for change inside of my mindset. And that's not to discount all of the other thousands of other little changes and watching those changes inside of the other men and letting go of a lot of guilt and shame from my previous life also, I guess, you know, jokes about people growing mustaches, things like that, it's just hilarious stuff. It was really good. It's really, it's, it's top stuff. Yeah. But becoming a, becoming a builder, you know, becoming someone who builds now and goes from, you know, this, this guy who, you know, who, who has been building for the last year and a half, but actually to step up and actually begin to build
on and on
and on, just having that, that attitude of, of ascension. I mean, it's, you know, and the circle, of course the circle was absolutely insane. Getting, getting together with the guys and, and I don't know, it was kind of, it's kind of odd because it's kind of like a, a schoolboy thing. You know, you get together arm and arm and you got the kind of, you know, like a footy thing, your arm and arm and you. Yeah. Psyching each Other up. But it was almost, you know, growing men doing that together as brothers and having that real bonding experience. It's, you know, that level of ascension is. Is. It's. It's not describable the way that the. The electricity was in the air. And I mean, you, you fellas chime on in if you. If you think that that's not correct. But I think we all got this pretty amazing feel of brotherhood afterwards, and it's pretty hard to relate that or relay that to anybody else. And I guess the last thing that I got to say is that I very much realized that my journal is filled with this year with entries and problems and stories. And this year coming, my new journal, all of those stories will be stories of ease. They're not difficult challenges anymore. Those are stories of hardship for the last year. And they're going to be the easy things. This, this coming year. I'm going to look for much more hardship in the coming year because that creates much more growth and, and it's given me a lot of drive to do that, to. To become that. To become that man who, who wants to look the challenge in the face, look at that traverse of the snow and say, no, I'm going to go across it and I'm. I'm not going to be afraid. I'm just going to get into it. So that's. Yeah, that's, that's. It's a big change. And there you go.
It was. Yeah. Oh, my. Phenomenal. I'm gonna stick with you for a second too, man. I'd love to get a share on what was another member that was a cozy. And how did he impact you? What was the experience? What was the share? What do they do actually, all of you boys? And we'll start, I think, a bit of rapid fire, like, just. Just thinking back where. Where was it. Was it in. In one of the workshops? Was it in the free time? I'm glad we gave a lot more free time this year. Was that decompressing or debriefing as you said? Hutto was, man, that was some of the best stuff the guys loved. Not because they didn't love the other stuff, but just how it. How it just really, really, I guess, amplified, which is always the case, right? It's always the space in between that the lesson or the learning or the deep dive becomes real. But that was no joke, man. That traverse you talk about, Lee, mate, that was. That was hectic. One of the guys grabbed one of the other guys who slipped. I can't Remember who it might have been? Rob Edwards, I can't remember who, but we were slowly heading back and man, going down was so dangerous. Oh, that was so much harder than going up, wasn't it? I couldn't believe it. I was actually shocked. I was like, has this changed? What's. Because going up, you sort of leaning up and into the hill with this. He's sort of leaning down and back. If you're laying down and back and you slip, but then you're just like, whoop. So you begin slide. But. But he rolled a ball. He rolled a little ball and mate, it was flying like it was. He picked up, made a little snowball. And we're just standing because we're waiting and because a few people had to take our time. He just dropped it off just to the side like, you know, like you said it was. The space would not have been wider than a 30 centimeter ruler. Mate, it was so tight and that ball just went off and disappeared. And we're like, oh, it's snow, but it's pretty hard. We better not fall here.
Down to the end of that. That section especially coming down there was kind of this 10 meter section which was slightly more on an angle. And a lot of the guys had shuffled their feet down it, making it into basically a slip and slide. And so there was no traction all the way down. And you're kind of half, you know, dying and walking and, you know, it's good, good fun. Yeah. So I've got an interesting one with someone from HPF that impacted me. I've got a really interesting one. It was Tristan. I forget, I forget Tristan's last name.
Sorry. Yeah.
And Tristan, he's very, very intelligent fella.
Very. Really.
He's one of these gentlemen who, who doesn't just take everything that you're saying as, as Right. He's constantly reviewing what you're saying and he challenges it all the time, which is. Is really refreshing to understand also from, from a zoomed out perspective that HBF is not just a bunch of guys sitting around patting each other on the back, telling each other how well we're doing. I had this conversation with him where I brought up the phrase or the sentence, the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. And it's something that I believe it's in reference to the triggers that we have in our life. The way that we operate or the way that we're triggered by things is the same way throughout the rest of our life. We're always triggered. And until we Isolate that trigger and control that trigger we'll be affected by. It doesn't matter whether it's your, it's your mother in law or your sister or your daughter. You always get triggered the same way because it's not the person, it's actually the trigger that affects you that way. And he turned around and said, I don't believe that. And that was great. It turned into this great backwards and forwards, this debate. And I immediately thought, I've got a fight on my hands. You know, like that's my initial reaction because we're men and we, you know, we're sort of. This, this conflict is, is apparent in us. But then I, I thought this is really great because this is such an opportunity to have this, this debate around this topic. And we explored it to, to a ridiculous depth, much deeper than I had ever thought about it before. And it was beneficial for both of us. In the end, I, I think it just caused so many more questions and so much more thought process inside of it. I became more sure that in fact that sentence is, you know, accurate. And he became more sure that it wasn't. No, he became more sure that of course we could continue asking questions and having this great discussion. And I really appreciate it. The fact that it isn't kind of sycophantic where one person says something and everyone sits around the table nodding and just saying, yeah, that's right. Somebody actually challenged. And it was that idea of men actually challenging each other to become better. So it was a really cool.
That.
That's kind of my. One of. One of many. Many. Yeah. I couldn't, I couldn't tell you how many ridiculously good experiences I had with
all the men there.
They're all, you know, it's a bunch of phenomenal guys. So you asked me to pick one experience. There's one that stands out straight away.
Yes. It's an interesting term, man. I like the. Because I've never believed it too, but you're pretty fucking clever mind. So I'm really keen to dig in because anytime I try and present something to you guys, the very first thing I do is I attack it. I throw rocks at it. Where's the. Where's it's gotta be wrong. But it was powerful because there were lots of those sorts of conversations. And that's what we do with our team. So with the coaches and whatnot, we built the foundation of trust, which isn't performance based trust, it's vulnerability based trust. You know, you can see me naked at all and you still Accept me as one of your brothers in this mission and awesome. Which then leads to healthy conflict or debate. Because without that there becomes bitterness, resentment, which is unresolved frustration that's withheld and it's like, fuck, really dangerous. So this year we tried to layer in a lot more of those talks and shares. And I think that whilst what I present I thoroughly go through and I'm sure there's good buy in on most of it, the workbooks, all that sort of stuff and whatnot. And there might be variances of, of what lands the most in Vision path. Man, I love those sorts of conversations, Lee. And I'm trying to always think, how can I bring that more inside of the men so they can really, really flesh out and get to the root of some fundamental positions. Even with Coach Harding today talking about limiting beliefs and how he's just fucking crushing it now, I was like, yeah, but bro, limiting beliefs is an internal truth you hold onto. Fuck that. You had real limits. You've come through as a member, developed yourself, and now you're the fucking prize and doing an amazing job leading the Knights. You didn't have limiting beliefs, you just had fucking ceilings. Limiting belief is an internal truth you hold on to. Fuck that. None of you should ever have limiting beliefs, but you have ceilings. I thought I was how I am today four years ago, but obviously wasn't, otherwise we wouldn't be. We would have been where we were back then, where we are back then. And I obviously wasn't the leader that I am today. So I just had ceilings, not limiting beliefs. So it's quite interesting. I don't know if it's you, Lee, but someone else spoke about momentum. I think it might have been Dr. John. Is momentum a real thing or is it like what we talk about, just one thing and one domino? You know, there's no such thing as multitasking. And it's like, because I speak about momentum heaps. Motherfucker. He must have been speaking to you, Lee. He started to sell me on why it isn't and isn't real and doesn't exist. And it's like, oh, yeah. I said, well, hang on. If you hold on to it for the good, that means it can get you in the bad. Because if you lose, quote, unquote, momentum, what happens? You drop off. Instead of just doing the next one thing, it's like, oh, man. So that's why I think I'm pretty sharp, boys. Not because I know it all, but I listen to and I learned from all your little shares and, and how you dissect them, how you validate them, and it's awesome, man, that's. It's powerful. But yeah,
sorry. The interesting thing there is that when it actually becomes. You realize that about, for example, momentum, and you realize that, you know, could it go one way or the other? But then it actually becomes even more valuable when you can control it and direct it and you start forcing the change and saying, nope, this is absolutely going to be. And that's manifestation. And then you start forcing the changes and you start saying, no, my frequency is so strong, my outcome is so strong, the universe will actually change around me. And lo and behold, it just seems to have this amazing value inside of it. So, yeah, it kind of. It borderlines on this hoodoo voodoo stuff. But the funny thing is, if it works, then it's not magic, because it's not unbelievable, is it? If I actually set my course on this and I reach it and the only thing I've done is. And everyone else says it was impossible, and I had this happen to me yesterday, everyone else says it was impossible, and lo and behold. And then everyone congratulated me afterwards and they said, look, it's a Christmas miracle. I said, no, I believed it right from the start. Of course, that was the way my frequency is set. So this is what's going to happen. And yeah, I had planned for it not to happen, but I'm talking about a personal, you know, we can share.
So what? What? So just for those who don't know, what Lee did is he organized a trip for me over to Turkey so I can get those injections in my lips so I can grow hair and I can actually grow a mustache. Is that what. Yeah, the guys come back with the headbands and they're all on the plane. I'll come back with a little headband around my lips so I can grow a mofa ones. Is that what.
Well, actually, it was miracle, mate.
That's just impossible.
Yeah, I was.
I was trying to get Alex involved in a course where he could learn about actually visualizing the mustache growing and so it would actually create his own outcome. But they said, look, some things we can achieve, but this one's stretching a little bit, you know.
But talk about glass ceilings.
Yeah.
Limiting beliefs, limiting mustaches.
Baby smooth. How about you, man? Love a share from you. Was there a member you connect with or a story you heard or, geez, how about that cozy room post climb? So we come down from the client, had a big feed, went to the Mount Kosciuszko room. Just over 100 of us there and mate, just the floor for hours. Just guys going up of their own accord, just walking up, doing a share, doing a share like crazy. But yeah, but how about you, man? Key takeaway or. Or share from someone really landed.
It was really hard to pick one. One guy, one member. One of the things that really stood out to me and helped me no end was the guys I've sort of looked up to in my HPF journey. How much just talking to them with some time when they were on camera, How much they sort of doubted themselves and didn't believe in themselves still. Like there's still that. That human element that we're all trying to. To better ourselves. So that's one thing that really struck with me, that these guys that are, I, I know are so evolved and so on such a higher level than me because of the time they've been in, for whatever reason I hold them up in a higher category. For them to say exactly how I sort of feel was really empowering for me. So I found more. If these guys are thinking that way and I know it's bullshit, then it must be bullshit about me too, right? So it kind of. That was really powerful for me to really understand that and to be able to talk to these guys and perhaps give them, you know, a little bit of support and try and change their mindset about themselves. I found that blew me away just to have that ability and that opportunity to do that mate. The members, there's. There's so many like Edo, my roommate. The first night we. We're dead tired. We got up at 4 that morning that. But that night we're still 1230 looking at going clocks going mate, we could talk for hours. Like we've got to get up in a minute, stop, let's go to sleep. Like we had to really, really turn that off. Like I said that the debriefs in those, in those rooms talking to Rob, Jimmy and Mick was there. Mick's a quiet sort of fellow, but he come in with a bomb and just like ah, yeah, how good like you.
That's just.
It was just like dot points are just ah, perfect. You've just nailed it. Like he, he was a. He was a wealth of knowledge. One of the ones I really, really admire was probably Callum. He had a. He had some really, really tough personal stuff like 24 hours before he came to Cozy and the strength he showed to be there, knowing that the value he was going to get out of the experience would really help his world. When he got back. I found that really, really inspirational. Like the man was grieving and yeah, to have, excuse me, hay fever now a little bit. But just to have him share that with us, knowing that it was a safe place, knowing that we would have some support, some advice and to see him grow through those five, six days, get stronger with it, deal with it and be ready to go back and support his, his wife and his family through that, that I found that very inspiring. You know, Jimmy the friggin Energy bundle. Like just all bullshit aside, your energy on that in that week you were bouncing off everyone and everything. Like if anyone was down or had a quiet moment, there was no chance with you around because you were just all over everyone, just improving the experience for everyone. Like it's full credit to you for that. That's. I'd hate to see what you're like next year because me, I'm going to need some sort of padding or something to try and try and keep you away. Third income it was. And to share the house with you too. It was, it was brilliant. But yeah, you know there's lots of guys, Stevo, Chris, you know, oh they're just, just too many to really mention. But the brotherhood that came out of that was, was something I'll never forget. So yeah, it was just amazing.
Yeah, awesome. Thanks Otto. Yeah, just I was lucky, one of the only ones out of us four that went last year so I was able to give back more this year and really pass on my experience. So again that's what makes it all worthwhile. Never join HBF to be a leader or this is what HBF has done. Develop, can develop you into more than just been, you know, I joined to get my wife back. Now I'm helping other families, other men get their families together and being happy with their kids and being more present, just yeah, seeing other members grow, that was the biggest joy for me like especially the South Australian boys. Darren Williams getting up and speaking, he's only a couple months in the hbf. Big Jack Gary like met them all when I went over to Adelaide from Melbourne early in the year for a catch up. Yeah, just seeing them grow, it's amazing. And the growth in it all and how they're all becoming leaders and developing and start helping other members as well in HBF to share their. All the wins they've got, it's just keep going.
Yep.
So yeah, Darren Sheer was awesome man. Darren Ridgeway I think. Yeah, Ridgeway mate. He'd only been with us for four months, mate. Unreal. Back at home with the family, everything crushing. Crashing at home now with him and his wife again and just a phenomenal turnaround. But the dude, everyone has their own speed with the HPF journey, which I respect for all you members out there for sure. But yeah, he obviously had certain pressures and ripped in, went all in. Four months later, look at him. Went to cozy and reconciled everything at home. And he's just getting fitter and healthier and it was just chalk and cheese, man, from day one to where he is in such a short period of time in the same year, in less than half a year. Mates. It's incredible, but love it. Jimmy, Luke, how about you, mate? Someone stand out or story or a takeaway that really landed for you?
Yeah, mate. And just touching on what Jimmy said then about the SA boys. Like, they are. They're absolutely crushing it. And I think that's a big testament to you, Shawnee. They've got you in their corner. They. They would all say the same and they do stand out. I don't know. There were so many. You boys have mentioned. A few of them already. Some every share. When blokes got up in front of everyone, like, they were just phenomenal. There was, yeah, more dust and hay fever through a lot of them, but one conversation that stood out for me, and it's a testament to what HPF is. And the movement that it is, is in our house, we had the. There was four, four or five of us chatting about two or three hours. One of our boys was Mark, who works for the marketing company that the. Does the marketing for hpf. And yeah, we were talking about, you know, how. How can we promote HPF better? You know, get. Get this message out what it meant to be at COSI and the brotherhood. And we're spitballing that for a few hours and we're like, how's this? We're all paid, paying members here. Like, we're paying to be in this thing. And here we are fully invested in it and fully trying to grow it. And we were just like, how good is this organization, this tribe, basically? But we're all rooting so hard for it and trying to improve it, even. Like. Like we're employees, but we're. We're not. We obviously pay to be in it. And that really stood out to me just how. How invested everyone was in the movement. And. And that comes off the back of so many great results in all our own personal lives and all the guys around us. Yeah, that was something that stood out as a pretty good symbol of what HPF means to all of us on the inside and that we're at COSI was, was really good. But yeah, outside of that, I can't think of one that really, really stood out because they were just all so phenomenal. So I'll go with that one as my, my standout one and I think just what it represents stood out a lot to me.
Yeah, Mark came up and spoke to me about that. He's like, he's like, mate. He's like. Because the dude spent his whole life in marketing and marketing agency, all that sort of stuff and he's like, mate, I've never, it's like, he's like. I didn't even see employees rooting for their, their organizational companies, let alone their actual clients, trying to figure out ways to, to make it grow for, for the organization. Yeah, it was so that must have been that. So it was obviously you guys because we did speak I think the next night maybe or we're talking and that's what I love. I'm like, boys like talk to me. What's, you know, one of the tenants is student for life. I love that, I love that tenant, that HPF tenant. And we had some good, we had some good chats with, with a few of you guys on. All right, how do we, how do we keep going and growing and make it long lasting, sustainable and keep building and. Yeah, man, excited to, to bring some of that in, in 2026. I really am. But that is very special. It really is, Luke, to have, have you guys have so much belief in the mission of what it represents, to look beyond. Because we're all paying something, right? We, we all pay some time and energy. You guys pay some time and energy and, and more being squad leaders, right? So you invest a good portion of that. You spend time and energy and money, the time and energy to make changes, dive in, coaching the tribe, the catch ups, all that sort of stuff. So we're all paying something, right? I'm paying time and energy and a monstrous amount because I'm doing this beyond full time. So we're all paying something. And whether the something is time, energy, money and then like physical, mental, emotional bandwidth, whatever it might be, that's what I love about this. It's like we're all in this to, to see this follow through so that our children see the benefits of this. And I really mean that. Like guys walking down and every, every few dads or so because I mean it could be for everyone, but it isn't right now because some men are ready and some are ready, aren't ready yet. And that's okay. But imagine if you saw every second or third bloke rocking the HPF gear, man. Like, I truly believe this mission will outlast all of us gentlemen. And it's because of us. Not, not me or even running a AD or marketing, which is what Mark, you know, he. He loves it all, man. You know, he's a father himself and just said, mate, this is phenomenal. He's like, we, we need to get this out. We need to, we need to really share this because this has blown me away on what I actually thought HPF was and I loved it before I even came here.
But.
But yeah, on that though. The energy, so powerful transition back into preseason where we've got state challenges, mate, that's. I just scrolled through one. It was a South. South Australia, right? The essay chat, it was like, wow, this is two days, you know, and, and yeah, there's smaller, smaller cohorts in, in like ACT and Tassie and nt, but we combine and connect. But. But ultimately the culture's fucking unbelievable, man. Have you guys noticed that or. I mean, like, start with you, Lee. Like, what have you seen in the energy trend transferring or transitioning back into the community? I say online community, but, like, we had a challenge where there's catch ups. You couldn't even count how many catch ups there were all over the country. Like, that's, that's. You talk about soul, Jimmy. That's soul, man. Like in one moment of time, we click our fingers and Saturday between 10 and 4pm there's fucking men all wearing the same shirts all over the country, catching up with each other, workouts, coffees. That's crazy. Like, that's pretty crazy, man. But have you boys found like, it transferring? A few of the boys are in Bali, you know, still, still finding ways to connect, which is quite funny. But yeah. Lee, what are your thoughts on, I guess causes, like, we talk about being the pinnacle, but it's like just the next step as well. Now we've come back in and we've got 500 men to reinvigorate, so we've got 20% who are going back into the 80% to now go. All right, boys, let's, let's go. All I've seen is huge upside. And boys, obviously with FOMO keen to get there next year. Hard to scale men. All good. Problems. There's always problems and pain in life, whether they're growing pains, dying pains or stagnation pains. But. But I don't know if we could do more than we did this year. That's the hard part. Maybe we run multiple ones. That's an option. Not sure we'll figure that out. But we did nail the intimacy and the big group energy. I will say that because of all of you and your buying but. And commitment. Yeah. Lee. What? How's the energy, man? Now going back into like the squads and the tribe. How have you found the energy? And then, and then Jimmy would love your your thoughts on energy. Given that you're not quite familiar with with energy and being energetic in the term now. You're like the living energizer, baby, man. Unbelievable.
But the more you give back, the more you get out of it. So that's what we're all here for.
100. Yes. That. It's been crazy. Yeah.
It's interesting because we're all different, aren't we? We're all different after. After cozy. So it's like, like Jimmy says, like the more you give, the more you get back. But if we're all different and we're all living on this kind of this higher plane of frequency and we're all pumping, you know, the experience, but not even, not even pumping. The experience is actually more that we're just being that journey, being that experience and delivering that back to all of the men. Especially, especially when you know, okay, that's, that's done. We're onto the, onto the preseason challenge. It's going to be a kick ass challenge, State versus State. So you've basically got everybody who's most active inside of their squads and they all come together and they all sort of meet up in the actual state and then, and then it's all those, all those guys who are highlighting those, those, you know, get involved ideals who are all coming together inside of the state chat. So suddenly it becomes this explosive thing where I don't know how many catch ups there was. I reckon there was probably close to, close to 50, 60 catch ups in the first week. It was nuts. It just went ballistic. And everyone's sharing. And then that caused some of the guys who I kind of keep an eye on, that caused those guys who have never really gotten involved, they couldn't help but get swept up in the snowball, excuse the pun, but they couldn't help but get swept up in this movement of energy and excitement. And that's all because this, this event changed all of us and made us, you know, snowball makers. And so we, we sort of started, started rolling this, this big thing and I mean you, you're the original snowball maker. And then we all just started adding onto it and pushing it more and more. And it's just starting to generate now. It's just starting to roll down the hill and become bigger and bigger. And it'll be exponential growth for short, which we saw on a certain scale. After Cozy. We saw this exponential growth of activity and involvement and everybody getting involved and guys, Guys were reaching out about their. Their problems and everyone was jumping on it, you know, like immediately. It wasn't. It wasn't one or two phone calls. It was like their phone lit up. Hey, man, how can we help? You know, let's have a discussion about it. Yeah, it was. It's. Yeah, that, that definitely that brotherhood. Brotherhood or getting. Getting, you know, getting behind each other and, and sort of sweeping each other up inside of the. Inside of the. The challenge. That. That's the pre season challenge. So I mean, the challenge itself, it's going exceptionally well. It's a probably. I'm probably more excited about the interaction that's happening than I am about the. The actual challenge and writing down the results. I'm. I'm away overseas and I'm still, Still getting involved. Yeah. I was one of the guys in Bali. I actually caught up with Jimmy and we had. We had a couple of long walks together. It was awesome. Very romantic. Down the beach holding pinkies. Yeah, nice idea. Well, my hand's about the same size as his pinky fingers, so I just walked along holding on to it.
The handkerchief in the pocket.
Yeah. Yeah. He calls me baby Titan. He keeps on picking me up and swaddling me. It's fucking embarrassing. My kids actually talk about Jimmy as well. Are you gonna.
Yeah.
Are you gonna meet your friend? Is he. Has he come to Thailand as well? Did he follow you over here to Thailand? I said no. No, Jimmy didn't. He only followed me to Bali.
He couldn't.
He couldn't come to Thailand.
Yeah. Next year.
Next year.
Back off your mate.
Yeah. Yeah, we'll see.
It's so good to front load that with the family. Give back to the family. And like I went with my misses to Bali after Cozy and. Yeah, just have that time. Give back one of the things you learn. HBF is awesome talking about that brotherhood especially. Been off its tits since Cozy. There's every other men that's kind of felt like they've missed out a bit, but they can pick up on that energy because everyone's just buzzing with this energy, this Cozy wave. I've been calling it the Brotherhood in HBF is just amazing. It's just raw honesty of men getting together. And it's hard to kind of explain it if people don't really want to know what HBF is. But once you're in it and experience you know it and it's not everyone agreeing with each other because everyone's all open minded and we can say our different opinions and that's what the best thing is. You say you won your opinion and you can listen to someone else's. We're all open minded and open to seeing a different way and that's where we grow. And being a student for life, we can just keep growing and learning every day. Like one of the things I keep saying I'm starting every day. I'm just building, getting up that mountain, getting up to another mountain, bigger mountain and just keep going every day I know I'm never going to get there and just want to keep going and learning as much as I can. Yeah, that's. And two, one of the best things ever done in HBF was getting to my first catch up. I was probably a bit of a slow starter the first six months, so I had the first catch up which is a lot more catch ups now, which is awesome. But yeah, that changed everything for me in hbf. Just meeting men face to face and realizing hey, all my problems, I'm not the worst one out there. Yeah, I thought I was and but yeah, just now learn and get and give back and help. But yeah, getting a catch up. And every new member I speak to, I tried pushing them to a catch up. Lucky in Victoria we've got a weekly catch up at least every Sunday. A thousand steps. But there's so many more catch ups all the time now. Men are catching up for everything. We've got our Christmas breakup this Saturday night in Melbourne. The Melbourne members or anyone there. I went over to Adelaide for the HBF catch up. This year I even flew up to Brisbane for the massive big catch up. There was 120 men. Something which is well worthwhile. It's just yeah, life changing. So yeah, recommend to anyone joins hbf, even non members get to a catch up, come and meet us. Is yeah, you realize it's not just a brotherhood. People think like a bikie gang or something else. But yeah, it's real honest. Honest people and men, fathers that are open minded can listen and all want to be better for themselves and their families. So yep, there you go.
Yeah man. After the session I did with the coaches, I thought no, I'm going to look in this because we're talking about the catch ups and we. I'm gonna try and get a counter and actually put some sort of counter on the. Maybe just even on our website actually for everyone to see. But man, there would've been actually over 200 hpf catch ups this year. So that ranges from obviously all HPF endorsed but like the, the members within themselves squad leaders which are like the, like the, like assistant coaches who also connect and they're senior members. The coaches going to their own catch ups as well. HPF organized catch ups in the HPF events which were the bigger ones you guys might have seen or heard about like Perth and Brizzy and whatnot and then things like Cozy and it's. Fuck. Like Cozy's one but like it's a big one over several days but it ranges from a coffee and walk workout, a dinner, guys going out, things like a thousand steps all the way through to something like Cozy. But mate, that's insane. You know, like a world that's getting so digital and the demand more than ever and people know it whether they talk about or not, the demand is higher than ever for human connection. We're going against the grain even though we leverage technology to serve the mission.
That's.
That's incredible. I'd love to have. That would be awesome. Hey, Jimmy, imagine if we had over 365. So albeit they're mostly on either weekdays, early in the mornings or weekends. Imagine that. Hey, we had more catch ups than there were days in the year across this country. Mate, that'd be. And I reckon we can do it.
Yeah, that would have happened this year, mate, there's a couple of catch ups a week in Melbourne, let alone.
So that's what I mean. Like I didn't. I know I can say 200 safely. It probably was over 300, but I know I can say that because I don't. You know everyone talks about numbers and lies and. But yeah man, I want to get a proper counter which I think if we try and create the. Not the registration but like the invites on, on our, on our community, we'll work it out. But it'll be pretty awesome to see man, because that's, that's powerful stuff.
Lee has over 200 phone calls a week to members.
Yeah,
I know, I know in the week leading up to, up to Cozy, I had five catch ups in fact. Five physical catch ups or every morning it was someone else coming and going for a walk and stuff like that. But that's, that's pretty. You Know, that's pretty not unusual that I'd have three a week at least. You know, just because my job takes me to different locations and so I'm, I'm able to catch up with the guys in that area and it's, it's actually awesome to be able to give something back to all of them. I mean, I do it for selfish reasons as well because I, I get so much from everybody and talking to them and experiencing their issues and their problems. But to be able to give back and be part of that, that's what life's all about. It's being able to serve people. It's fantastic.
Yes, that's what I meant. Lee's done more than 200 catch ups this year. HPL high performance. Lee just. Lee alone's done more than 200 catch ups this year. Weapons.
I got the trophy, buddy. That's why I got the trophy.
But even preseason, right, everyone's, everyone's throwing the rest of the year away. Entering 2026 hungover as it's like, mate, we got 19, you know, a couple of weeks left to absolutely dominate, you know. And the competition we're doing right now isn't an end of year, it's pre season. Mate, we're getting ready for the year ahead. Like that's, that's what I love. The other night during a nighttime session, nearly 100 men, we're doing our workbook stuff, talking about purpose. And I just stopped for a second after I said a few words and then we, we start writing and some answers and it's like. And I acknowledged all the men. Admiration's the word. I loved hearing that, that word. Cozy. And I said, have a look at all of you men Monday night. 9:30 in the night. 9:30 at night. Yeah. Probably getting close to the end. Start at 8:30. Rest of the world's fucking asleep. And have a look at you all, head down. Planning, organizing, setting targets, getting hungry, ready to fucking hunt. What you want to do, how you're going to change, how you can improve in and shift your identity and hit that target. Get a better vision, create a better path. It's like just things like that, man. Like it's, it's everything I'd always wanted, but I wasn't enough. And we needed to find and build the people from the early days in 2018 when we started. It's just, it's just awesome. It's just all fucking out there, ready to win and wanting to get, get after it and do it hard because life is hard. Cool. I'm going to do it hard and I'm going to get on top of it. Not. Here's another year and you see those memes roll around next. You know, I've seen plenty already for 2025. So next year. But guess what? Same fucking means. 2026 was like, and it'll have some baby or some dog, and then the dog gets cleaned up, right? And you guys have surely seen those memes and. And everyone. And they got such high engagement because everyone's like, yeah, that was my year. That was my year. What? You're the baby on the carousel and you fucking fell off again. And you know, those memes are bullshit. That's how the rest. That's just how the rest of the. The world lives. Oh, you got your chickens and they look like they're fine laying their egg. And who said I like chickens? Jimmy did. The boys are roasting me on the chat now. I'm getting nailed. Hutto. Brotherhood. Brotherhood, man, the energy. Happy for you to share. Transitioning from Cozy into the tribe, but you got a pretty special piece on brotherhood.
Yeah.
So one of the. One of the questions that was asked of us at Cozy, in one of the workshops where we were going deep, one of the questions was, how has this brotherhood changed me? So it was the other day, I was just flicking back through my workbook, and I saw this, and I read it, and it actually. It nailed me. And it actually surprised me at how deep I must have been in. In. At that headspace level when. When I actually wrote it down and rereading it, it's just. It really. It really pours or just takes everything out of me. It just makes it. It makes it. It's a very honest, pure way of describing what this brotherhood means to me. So my answer was, I wrote down, this Brotherhood has shown me that for the last 54 years of my life, I've been close to the right path, but not honor. I've crossed over it. I've seen it, but not followed it. This brotherhood has lit that path and held me on it even when I sat down to rest. They wait, they lift me up, and we walk on. They make sure I know that I matter. I'm alive now and can truly grow for my family. So I. I reread that, and I just went, wow, that's. I can't think of describing the brotherhood in a better way from. From my perspective, at least, that's what the brotherhood means. Means to me and how they've helped me. Help me grow to the point where I can Actually start to look after myself a little bit more and have value in myself, which I didn't have, rightly or wrongly. That's. That's where I was at. So the brotherhood has brought that out of me. Of course. Content. Everything we do in HPF is great, but the Brotherhood is the one that actually extracts that from. From you and makes you. Makes you think that about yourself. So massive, massive value in that, you know, some of the. Some of the way that's spreading amongst our. You mentioned the SA boys before. They've done me so proud. I can't. Can't write that enough how these guys have picked up with it and not relying on me or anyone else, an individual, to organize things. They're doing it themselves because they want to do it. Like, there was a guy the other day that said he wanted to catch up, have. Have lunch with someone. I couldn't make it, so I sort of thought it would. It would die, which traditionally some of these things have done in the past. And next, you know, there was a photo on our state chat that three of them had caught up and had bloody lunch together. And I started. I get this famo, like, what the hell? I've missed out. Like, it's. It's the. The energy in the chat. And this. This growth has been. Has been amazing since we've come back from cozy. So, yeah, that's something that's pretty. Pretty personal to me and something I'd like to share.
It's pretty special, man. I. I know you sent me a screenshot, but, yeah, we'll talk about that. Because I think that's a. That's a. I think that's a proper creed. What you got there, Hutto? I really do, man. Even the way it's worded, that could be. That could be the. The code of the brotherhood for everyone. And look, every man, as his path has his journey. All I ask is it should be open. If what we're talking about, what I said then, is too deep or heavy for you, that's your problem, not ours. But it is powerful, man. Like the depth in all of you and the life that we're creating as a brotherhood. Like I said in one of my Al's insights, it's pretty simple. There's those you're hunting for and those you're hunting with. Who are you hunting with in your life? There's banter, there's talk, there's everything. We've got it all, man. It's amazing, but it's all balanced and it all has purpose. It's not hiding behind humor and, and pulling away and ego and arrogant flair. And it's, it's, it's powerful, man. It really is. I love that. We'll talk more offline about that, mate. Yeah, because I think there's, I think there's some, some good legs to, to that piece you shared.
Luke.
You've done, you've done a sensational job, man. You're based in nt, right. Smaller crew and really seen a couple of boys come on board there recently too, which is great, connecting with them. So I love how much you have made the effort to travel around as well and engage with as many men as possible. How have you found the energy, mate? And talk us through, I guess the, the culture hpf, what you've taken from Cozy, what you've seen lift since then. Again, not that it was bad beforehand. Right. But there's just levels. It's phenomenal. But yeah, what's your, what's your take on, mate, on what you've seen since Cozy in the tribe as well?
Yeah, talk about levels. It's gone up about eight levels, I think. Not quite as much as Jimmy, but it's, it's getting up there. Yeah, just the, the engagement and definitely the blokes that have been in Cosby. But you're right, it's infectious and it's, it's catching on and everyone else is, is rising to the occasion, which is really good. The state chats. Yeah, being. Being in the NT where we haven't got as many members as some of the biggest states, obviously, but, but the guys are getting in, getting involved and like I said. Yeah, caught up with a brand new member this morning. He's jumping straight into it, which is, which is awesome. I don't know if he got a bit of a shock today when we sat down over a coffee and I sort of went pretty deep pretty quickly, but he reciprocated and yeah, got into his story and I said, mate, it's not like Facebook, you know, in our community where, you know, a lot of us don't post on Facebook and whatever, but you're getting there. I said, don't hold back. Like, just share. Share your story, share your struggles, share your wins. Like you, you know, you'll get more and more out of it. And I've just noticed since being in here, he's just put up his, his first post in there, which is good. Straight into it. So, yeah, the vibe, the vibe's really lifted. Post cossie, which has been. Good question. You put here in the Chat about what. What blokes outside of HPF might be missing and missing like that. That energy that we have inside as is also our ability to call one another out and, and we're open to it. Like, if, if, you know, if I was to have a blue with the missus and go to my. My mates, I guess on the outside, they'll be there for me, they'll support me, they'll take my side, they'll, you know, let's go have a beer and, you know, stuff her, blah, blah, blah. You're in the right, basically. But inside, I can go to a mate from inside HPF and be like, oh, this has happened, Ra, basically. And I'll be. I'll be open to their feedback more so. But they can call me out on stuff and like, mate, you haven't been leading her in this way or whatever. And I'm like, yep, you're right. And that's something that you just don't have on the outside. If I tell. If I said that to a mate on the outside, you know, he had a blue with his missus, I'm like, you know, have you been stepping up here, here and here? And he'd be like, what the. I thought you were my mate, not hers, you know, like, so that's, that's just such a. A big thing on the inside, is that? Yeah, everyone, everyone's open to the feedback, whether it's positive or negative, and willing to take it on board. And that's where growth comes from. Like you mentioned before, we're setting our ways and we think we're right. Especially when you get to 106, like, hello, but sorry, you're right. I think he's had a heart attack again.
Yeah, he's getting his quill and ink, mate. He's going to write you a dangerous letter and get the pigeons to deliver it.
In six weeks, he's got his club up in the air. He's going to go, me? Yeah. But I think that, you know, the growth comes from being willing to change and willing to be called out and taken on board. And that's something that's so strong within hpf. Like Lee mentioned before, we're not all in here just patting each other on the back. It's, you know, we'll call each other out if it's like, hey, that's a cool story you're telling yourself. And just. Even just saying that we're open to going, yep, that is a story I'm telling myself. So, yeah, that's. That's A big, A big part of being on the inside, I think. But yeah,
yeah.
What else do you think, man? Like if we're talking. So I'd love. And we'll do a bit of a rapid fire. But just same with you for a sec, Luke. Obviously, like, I'd love a question for you boys to answer being what do you think men outside HPF are missing? And obviously the first obvious answer is, hey, do you have a strong core group of men around you that can drive you towards excellence? It's challenging from a place of love and ambition to grow and become more. Not getting the wood over each other or putting one on, you know, like, it's not about putting yourself on a pit. Not at all. They don't last. And that's come with unfortunately some dishonest reviews and that sort of stuff, which. That's sweet, I'm willing to cop that. But anytime there has been a cancer in hbf, I cut the thing out immediately, mate. No way. You guys are way too valuable to the admission and, and you're way too valuable to have something like that in something that you've bought into. This is your family, this is your home. So it's worth it to me to come at the cost of that with people. But because we have a such a genuine environment in here. But I love that. So what's one thing that men are missing outside of hpf? I understand you guys can talk about the tribe. That, that's sweet. Which we have been. But. But also like, like what else, man? Like what do you see? Like what's, what's the one thing that men out there are missing they need to focus on or think about. Is it the vision? Is it planning? Is it something I need to look within themselves and, and try and break down some limiting beliefs. I don't know, like what, I guess maybe advice or what would you say, Luke? And then we'll, we'll go to you. Jimmy, on yeah, what's something you feel men are missing or lacking in their life outside of HPF that we've developed and built. And also what would be your piece of voice, something that could get them going. They need to start working on.
I think a big one itself. It's so common that we put everything into service, into our work lives and what's left after that we. We put into our family, albeit not at 100%. And I really think guys, even when they first start in hbf, it's a bit of a struggle to, to focus on self and build that capacity because it Feels selfish. But we both spoken about this before, about how selfless it is by building ourselves up so we can give back to our families. So I think that's maybe it's having the permission or just the know how that you know how to work on self and what, what we need to do to build that capacity. That's something that we're just taught to go to work, work hard, provide for your family. Like, that's all we're told to do as a father and a husband. Like, that's what. That's your job. You know, that's. Yeah, but how far does that get you? Talking about some of the successful guys before that have got all of that and, you know, they're struggling in other areas and now they're here to work on themselves. And that's. That's what HPF is. I mean, it's. It's all family, self and service. But if you don't have self under control, the others just can't fall into place, I believe. So that's. I think that's a big part of something or something missing in blokes outside of hpf is that the permission, the knowledge, the drive to focus on yourself, which, yeah, just betters every area in your life.
Yeah, I love it. Founding principle of hpf, the circles of significance. Three areas make our life and make it matter, which is what? Significance as well as meaning. Fulfillment, contribution, achievement, reward. That's why I love that word significance. It's like collective, all of them. You're right, man. It's not like there's a circle of family and service. And then to the left there's like a jerry can that's filled up with fuel and you just gotta fill up your cup and pour another. It's like, no, it's a real fucking circle, mate. Seek growth, love and joy. Probably one of the most popular tenants that we've got in hpf. Why? Because too often we're pushing love and joy to the side and we're growing disproportionately in areas that are coming at the cost of others. Mainly business and professional acumen that we developed so we can make more money.
So.
Yeah, and I agree. It's known as. Why it's layered family solvent service. I remember when we're working like with. With Mark and going through like, the. The branding of hpf, all this sort of stuff. One of his assistants wrote, because I talk about be a hundred to give 100, they wrote self, family, service. I was like, no, no, no. Family, self and service. 1. It sounds awesome. But 2, when you look at the circles, right, self is higher, right? It's higher and in the middle, for that good reason, because that's what then distributes, like pouring into your cup, into the others. But it's also the circle of self. It's not just fuel. Your circle isn't just fuel, Luke. Your circle is your life, your. Your joys, your hobbies, the things that you love and how you spend time. The silence you can have, the noise you can make. It's you. So I love it, man. Beautiful share, Jimmy.
Yeah, mate. Exactly what Luke was saying. We don't really know as fathers in life, we haven't been taught. That's what HBF to me kind of is. It's a complete playbook of life, of being a father, what we need, you know, we think we're doing the right thing by working too hard, which I was. And having that good family holiday once a year, providing a house, but just not being present, taught now HBF be present when you, you know, giving all. Not wasting a minute of life no more, just being there, making the most of the time with the Mrs. And doing all the little things that we miss out that I didn't really know. So many basic things that you can be embarrassed by, like not realizing. How did I not know that? But we're never taught that as men in life. And yeah, just one of the big things in HBF is like, you go, you gotta be 100% to give 100%. You know, I was nowhere near probably 10%, so I wasn't, you know, given 10% of 10%. Bugger all one. So, yeah, looking after ourselves and giving ourselves. One thing I've learned, hbf, we gotta see our side. So many men kind of living in the past and got regrets and beat themselves up. But one of the favorite sayings from you was, is a minute spent in the past is a minute lost in the future. Is we can only learn. And we can change ourselves now. We can learn from the past, but we can't change it. So we've got to learn to let that go and change ourselves, which I have. And people see you as for who you are now, not for what you were. And you just being consistent every day, keep changing yourself and getting better. And while the your family, self and service in the book I love that soul as well, the quotes got soul as well. And that soul is being the prize for yourself. When you start seeing yourself as a prize yourself, loving yourself, others can start loving you as well more. And seeing you and feel that energy. So, yeah, that's what HBF has done for me. Changed my life outlook.
Just.
Yeah, it's given a. It's a playbook for life, basically, for fathers.
There you go.
Yes. Yeah, it's. It's just. Just layer by layer. And it's not that we don't. It's not like you need HPF to know that you've got a spirit and soul, but it's. It just adds another level of depth to me for the men, when they're ready to go. Hang on. Yeah. What. What about, like, it's that question that, that. That I wrote it out and read it heaps of times. I think I mentioned this with the coaches and I was like, man, it just cut me in half. And it was the one of the. Said, what will my life mean when it's done? You know, like just that word, done. So final. So, like, final. It's like, you know, it's. It's crazy. So you gotta. You've got to honor the soul in you and the purpose that you have here beyond. A man that's here to drive time for economic exchange, to provide things. People that live under the same roof as you. That's what I love about us. We can sit back and we can go deep, we can go complex, but also simple, and go. Let's just stop, zoom out a little bit, give yourself space and time and have a fucking look at what the world does. I give my fucking time. I give my life I'll never get back. And for a lot of people, unfortunately, I'm giving up my fucking soul for money, right? And to buy things that I don't give the fuck, that no one will ever remember, that no one cares about. No one truly wants even those close to you in your family to justify your existence. And important, like, it's just. It's crazy. It becomes a dangerous, slippery slope. Lee, how about you, man? A great share, Jimmy. Thank you, man.
Mate, what was the original question again? No, we'll go back to it. What could men change? Like, honestly, it's such a relevant thing, because a year and a half ago I was here. What could I change? You know, I was so frustrated by the place that I was in. I had imagined my life would be completely different. And I came from a fairly good. A fairly good household. I came from a mum and dad who loved me. They loved all my brothers and sisters. And I could actually see exactly how life was meant to be. I could see that. That I. I was meant to have a wife. I was meant to have kids and they, you know, I was going to be in the, in the log cabin with the fire burning and the kids were all going to be playing on the mat and the wife was going to be, you know, gorgeously walking up to me and lusting over me. And that's how long. And then you actually go into reality and it's a diametric opposite to my vision. And of course, after years and years of, have this, this complete opposite reality to what I actually, what I actually was pushing for for so long, what ends up happening is I've become very frustrated and I became really, really frustrated. And I get to this point where all I can see is the way I failed, the way I haven't achieved the goal or the vision that I have. And so I start drinking and I start gambling and I start doing all these things to try and solve the problem, the pain from my failure. And of course I'm completely ego driven as well. Everything I'm doing, I'm trying to get this pet on the head. So I'm just doing all these different activities for everybody else completely based on the fact that I would get something out of it. So I'm actually doing all these things for selfish reasons. I'm not even doing them for the right reason. And I'm entirely frustrated by my own ego and by my own, you know, I'm sort of just stuck in this, this, this tumultuous, shitty cycle. And this is me a year and a half ago. And the fact is, is that a lot of, a lot of the men that I talk to if, if I, and not HBF members and very, very quickly, you know, it takes, takes, you know, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, maybe a little longer. I'm not quite as sharp as, as you, Alex, on this, on this particular thing, but I can, I can cut right to it. This is the problem. Okay, I can see it. I can see that you have this problem. And it's actually you, you haven't invested in yourself. You haven't understood where you're at. You haven't understood your, your, your ego is completely driving everything about you. And you're completely reactive to someone saying your, your wife in particular, your, your kids in particular, every time they, they don't congratulate you for the activity that you've just done or the building that you've just made, or the, the fun experience that you've just made, provided every time they turn around and they have some sort of negative towards it, then you completely cut to pieces over it. What A way to live. No freedom at all. There's no freedom at all. You're completely trapped by yourself. But there's a way out of it. And that's what HPF did and is doing, I should say is doing, because it's a work in progress. Because I. I still have these. These times when I'm. I'm entirely frustrated and I go back to this point and I think to myself, no, hang on a minute. I'm completely ego driven. It's kind of fun, too. You know, my wife said she loved me last night. She said, you're a good husband. You're a good father and a good husband. She actually said this. And I turned around and said, yeah, I know I am. You know, because my ego is not looking for that pat on the head. I know that I'm doing well. I really do. And I congratulate her on doing well as well, because otherwise she'd be mad at me. No, she. The reality is, is that she. She does an amazing job. She does. And she's got very little ego inside of herself. And that's. That's part of doing away with that. Part of my frequency has made sure that. That we're cutting that ego away from ourselves in our relationship. And it's. It's. It's a freedom. It's what it's all about. You're not. You're not trapped anymore in that shitty cycle of, you know, drugs and alcohol and everything else that you're just trying to. Trying to just get through life. Oh, that noise. I hate that. Just getting through life. I want to make every moment. That's why the guys will give me for leaving at a certain time, off podcasts and things I got to do, man. You know, when I say goodbye, I'm. I'm going to get on to the next thing I got. I'm excited about the next thing, you know, like I'm. I'm one thing after another. There's very little sitting down. I'm frustrated that my holiday has actually been planned out to take too long at the moment. I want to get back into it. Yeah, but that's. Yeah, that's. That's what I see that at men or myself, at least on my own journey. That's what I was frustrated by.
The. Any. Any of you boys are that we've got pda. Public displays of affection. Will your wives listen to this podcast? You want to do some Jimmy? It's. But here we're saying Leon time, man. It's with. Obviously Florence is very young. I don't think I've done a podcast since she's been born, actually. One with the coaches, mate. Geez, I tell you, man. No time at the moment. It's like, it's. I've already got the next 12 hours after this session set, which includes no sleep, that's for sure. It's funny, you know that word mindset, isn't it? Like a mindset. You don't. But then all the other ones you try and think of, like mind state or mind flow, they all sound a bit gay. But I hear what you're saying, Lee. Cause it's like, you know, like you don't. That's what you're talking about. You're talking about the mentality of how to approach life, how to see life, how to choose and then make those choices. Be backed up as truth through your actions. It's a. That's a beautiful weight. So I didn't want to fend if there's gay people. Listen to the podcast, mate. Keep listening. But yeah, it's.
It's.
It's a brilliant. Uncle Jimmy here keeps writing in the chat section. Something around pinkies. Oh, holding pinkies. That's right. No, on the beach.
Sorry.
No, keep it above the belt. And I love it. It's a. It's a. It's a beautiful share, Lee. I'll. I won't bury myself further. Huddo, mate. How about yourself?
So hopefully I don't repeat you word for word, Lee, because my wife just came in, say goodbye, so I wasn't listening to some of that. So apologies, mate. They, like. I could channel your conversations as if, mate. So the original question, what are most men outside of HPF missing? You guys have summed it up pretty well. The way I see it is that acknowledgement or awareness that they are trying to do too much for the right reasons and not understanding what is the true reason. So I've talked to a lot of guys that I can see in pain outside of hpf, and they all tend to. I was sort of talking earlier, they tend to come to me and they can see a groundedness in me, if you like, and a happiness. And they can see the way my wife looks at me now, which is weird, you know, because she's hot as. And. But they, they. They sort of. They. They're. They're curious. So the one thing I say that I get the most light bulb reactions from is that whole, fill your cup first you have to be 100 to give 100. That's. That's. That's the biggest thing that clicks with them is that you can give a hundred of everything that you are. But if you are the shell of the man that you were when you started the relationship or you started your journey, then what have you got to give? You think you're doing the right thing. You are giving everything you possibly can, but it's not enough or it's not directed in the right way. You've only got X amount of energy that you can expend in, in the right, in the right way. So men outside of HPF that I've seen and traditionally and I've talked to don't understand that and they don't know how to correct that. One of the first things that we learn in HPF is that it's not selfish to work on ourselves. That's one of the things I really struggled with. To start with, I just thought I'm doing all this time for me. You know, I'm investing time in me, I'm investing money in me. I'm investing in, you know, I'm going into uncomfortable places, positions, conversations, doing things that are completely different to what I was and the way I was living. I found that really selfish. It was taking me away from the family and it wasn't until I can't even remember it was someone, someone explained it to me. And I know you've said it, you know, in 100 of your podcasts, our, which I've listened to all of them by the way. But it really clicked when someone said something to me that it's selfish not to do that. So you have to actually believe that once you've believed that that is not selfish to do, it's actually selfish not to do that work on yourself. That's the real groundbreaking time where you can then go all in on yourself. Your family benefits in a heartbeat because as you elevate, you've gone from 10% to 15%. Suddenly you're getting 1.5% to the family if you're doing, you know that, that 10. So it's, it's, it grows quickly as you, as you start to, to realize that it's very easy to go all in when you, when you've understand that concept. So that's, that's probably the biggest thing I see that men outside of HPF don't quite understand and they don't know how to, how to, to correct that.
It's been hard because I've wanted to do so many lives since Beautiful Share Too Hutter. So many lives since Cozy. But I've just had to focus on the members, obviously, engage with you guys and the family. One thing that comes to mind is definitely vision. I think that's so important because when you guys, all of you have spoken in some way, shape or form around which is all ownership, right? Yourself pouring in your own cup, yourself, your identity, your mindset, or how you choose to see things, perspective and so on and so forth. But the thing is how to. If men don't have a vision, then they'll never understand the value of be a hundred to give a hundred. And that's the problem with. That's why it's a brilliant book by Robert glover. No more Mr. Nice Guy. It's so fucking easy. Actually, it's pretty simple. When you read the book, it's like, of course. So being 100 to give 100 and providing for your family and being a loving man and a leader, and a leader worth following. You think that's all rainbows and smiles and, and daisies and happy moments? Nah, man. Having the vision is what will have me be in a position where it's like, hey, Crin, do you want us both to be fucked tomorrow or should we create some sort of system? Because Florence isn't going to sleep for a little while and we've got a lot of tomorrows coming if we're still alive. So if it takes, say six months, which it's all hit and miss. Stella was three and a half years, but Lillian was, was four months and then she was perfect. Roman was a bit of both. But let's say it takes six months, okay? Let's 180 tomorrows where the heads of the household are going to be completely cooked. Her emotional state is, hey, I'm breastfeeding, I'm tired, I'm exhausted, I just need to be saved. And here's the baby. So you gotta have vision, you gotta have the vision, man. You've gotta be able to see one of Maxwell's principles, see more and before others. And that's what I love about all the shares you guys have given. Because it's a must be 100 to give 100. What is 100? What is the fuel? What type of fuel? What quality when you gotta say healthy nose and have boundaries? I haven't trained, I don't go crazy. But I train four days a week and then walk the others walking's been reduced somewhat and probably gotten two to three sessions a week. Three, three sessions. Still got them in since the baby's been. Been born and then obviously away from causing them being Sick. Yeah. Still getting three sessions this week. I should get four in. I was like, oh, wow, four, Four times. What? I don't know, two hours with travel, all that sort of stuff. But it's worth it, man, because then I come back clear, free of thought, free of feeling, and then I can lead the family and be the example again in the moment. So it's powerful stuff, what you guys are sharing, but my take from cozy and yeah, hopefully Cena's wisdom to pass on to all of you listening members or non members is, yeah, man, you gotta take the time to just see, where is this going? My wife's losing her. My children are losing. I'm losing my. Okay, where is this going? You know, lay out the logical and the emotional pathways. What's the upside? What's the downside? Can I live with the downside? Pretty straightforward. And then how can I Course correct. Then it's the how. The piece that I said when we did a coaching huddle to the coaches was the what might come before the how. Whether it's goal setting, planning, the point of this podcast, the target that you have today, the gym session you want to execute, the what might become before the how. But it's the how that makes the what stick. So, yeah, I think there is real merit to what you say, Lee, and how you do one thing is how you do everything. And maybe the how isn't a physical thing. I can't relax with intensity. That's my argument. But the mentality of, I'm all in on relaxing at this stage. I'm all in on pushing hard for this block of work. Yeah, same thing. So it's an interesting conversation I'm scared to have with you in case I'm wrong, but. No, but it's true, man. It's the how. How do we work on the how? Well, by by connecting the. Connecting the what now? How do we work on the how? By making sure we've got fucking planning to give. That's how we work on the how. And then how do we make sure the how makes sense? Well, by having the vision actually map out what the fucking what is. I talk heaps on these podcasts. I don't want to talk too much more, but I love. I love the. You boys inspire me, man. I get so much, so many gold nuggets from this stuff. I really do. There was one from Coach Nate earlier, and he said what he loved most about Cozy and the tribe was all loves, including the guys who didn't go causey is the tenacity Their tenacity towards adversity and the want to go hard. And I love that, man. I like, I was like, that's awesome. You know, when we unfortunately had to cancel the surprise camping trip I had for you boys, right, The Platinums, no one was scared, hesitated or worried. Everyone was like, oh man, that would have been sick. That would have been hard. We've been freezing our ass off. Would have been wet and cold, buddy. Cooking a little tin and in a bag and carry it with us and national park stuff. And mate, the boys were pumped for just the challenge, the thrill, the adventure. Not, hey, we've got these beautiful five star peds that we're not going to sleep in that we paid for. Hey, it was awesome. And that's what I love. Yeah, the want to go hard. I was epic, boys. Quite a. Quite a. Quite a session. A lot of cheeky jokes come to mind, but I'll. I'll withhold them because I know Mr. Hutton's got plenty lined up for me and. But it has been, it has been a good period of time. Love it, man. It's been awesome. Thoughts, boys.
Final shares.
Would love to. I think it's a two hour episode. It's probably the. I think this is the longest podcast we've ever done. But thank you, man, for spending the time. Thank you guys for listening. But I guess just in a final wrap. Cause you're not HPF as a whole or not. Your life, your personal successes, your journey, just final thoughts, final wisdom as we go around the panel, boys. It'd be amazing and I feel like it's crazy too. I reckon we could easily have done a four hour session. I used to look at things like Rogan and that stuff and be like three hours, man. Between the five of us, we could knock one out easy. It's crazy how quick it's gone. Yes, man would love our final thoughts. Let's start with yourself, Jimmy, or takeaways. Final piece of wisdom for the guys as we wrap this up.
First of all, let's lock it in for Cossie next year. And one even a few months before Cossie. Pre cozy. Let's do it again. Yeah. Fantastic. And the growth in all of us just. Yeah. What we've got out of HBF this year, especially John and the squad leaders, is phenomenal. Yeah. Fantastic. Huge thank you to you and Coach Eric and you giving the faith to Eric, putting him. The growth in him in the last year and a bit, it's been exceptional. So thank you. And yeah, if anyone's out there thinking about joining hbf. Like I say, I just joined to get my wife back. At the time she left for nine months. And, yeah, now that's kind of the least of my worries. It's the other 10,000 things I've grown in life and learned. And HBF is. Yeah, I'm a student for life. Keep going. Sign me up.
Inspiration man. Hey, we should get a testimonial from James. Sue. Get. Get sue to. That'll be that. That'd be cool. We're working on it, boys. Some of you men who are really keen on hpf, it's like, ah, man, what about the wife? I get all that. Leave it with us. We'll get some resources for you boys. Because what every human asks themselves, what does this mean for me? So I get it, but. So when you go and you join hpf, what it means for your wife and children is fucking exponential. But it's amazing to hear some of the shares from them, which I think will be rolling in 2026. Jimmy, it'd be awesome if sue did a share, but. Yeah, how awesome is it? The journey, traveling around the world with your family now. Incredible. Really incredible, man. Lee.
Yeah, mate. I don't think. I don't think. If you are. If you are a man and you are listening to this and you're somebody who isn't or has decided that you are, you are not going to be. You're not going to be right about everything. You know, you're somebody who's decided that you're actually going to perhaps not do what you always do and get what you always get. You're actually somebody who's going to experience the obvious progress and elevation that you have in just this group here, not to mention the other 500 members. You know what I mean? Like, these stories are not uncommon. The stories of this. This Ascension mentality where the guys are just so excited about the next part of their life, where they're actually saying, I've actually got a fucking handle on it. Like, I've actually got some vision, I've got purpose. I'm actually driven to get up in the morning and have a mission. And if you're somebody who's listening to this and you can obviously listen to the enthusiasm that we all have for our life and the depth of understanding, and we all just think we're only getting started, you know, we're only just kicking off, and if you want that for yourself, then, you know, that's. And I'm not. I'm not trying to be Too sales pitchy. But the fact is, is that I actually, I want every father out there to benefit their kids as much as I've benefited my kids, and as much as every man in this. In this room, in this chat at the moment has benefited their kids and benefited their wife. And I want that for everybody, because that's part of my ongoing purpose, is to actually be a person who cares for other people. And that's changed. That's changed from being someone who was completely selfish to someone who's completely the opposite. And I live my life along that line of purpose. And if you also want to change your purpose and become somebody who's valuable to himself and, you know, by all means, step up, take the plunge, become accountable. And that's. That's what all these. These men have decided to do. And we're all accountable to each other. And, and the amount of progression, the amount of climbing the staircase, the amount of climbing the mountain is pretty. Pretty bloody impressive. You can't fault it. You can't step back and say, oh, nothing's happening here. You know, people have paid for their membership and they're just. Just as. Just the same as when they walked in. There's nothing. There's just no, no chance of that. So I can only. I can only encourage people. But the reality is, is everybody who's listening to this and watching the actions of people in hps, that. That's more encouragement. You don't need anyone to sell you on it. You only have to look and all the information's there. I just. Yeah, I, I'm. I'm. I'm a member for life. I'm in it for the, for the long haul, definitely. I can't see myself stepping away from it. Yeah, it's a brilliant system. So more credit to you. To you, Alex. Thank you very much.
Amazing chairman. And we. Look, we can't. We can't sell you. Here's the thing. Like, it just. It would be a discredit to the tribe. It doesn't make us some sort of secret society. And you're gonna do these handshakes to get in, or we try and put the wood over you and. And make you beg to join. It's just like, it just won't work. It never. It never. Never tried it, but it never have and never will. I've. I've seen many other industries and spaces and people in a similar space try and sell people into their programs. Like, nah, man, it's. It's a step you must be willing to take, because without that what? Why? There's no fucking commitment, mate. I don't care how much or how little money you have. So now it's. It's a beautiful share, Lee. And for a lot of you men, you're not here to battle through life. That might seem normal to you, being a battler, because it's something that's familiar and a repeatable environment and occurrence and pathway in your life at the minute, but you're not. Like Lee said, once you get up, doesn't mean problems go away. You become more to handle them and then you have bigger, better problems and, and you keep going and growing. It's. It's life. Isn't, isn't, isn't to battle through. You're here in this life to him. You're here to embrace life, conquer life and then give life and repeat and recreate the path that you've created for others. Recreate the path that you've carved out for others. You embrace life. Embrace it all. It's one of our tenets. The good, the bad and the ugly, especially the bad. I'm thankful for the adversities more than the victories because there's a gift that's yet to be learned. How fucking ignorant of me. Thank you. Let me learn something new today. It's a beautiful thing, but then you get out and you conquer it, and then you recreate that path for others. I love it, man. Luke, how about yourself?
Yeah, Lee summed it up beautifully. But just to expand on that, guys that might think they're too far gone, you know, for to turn their lives around. God, some of the shares, like, there's guys that had loaded shotguns in their mouths and standing on clifftops, you know, ready to jump, and blokes drinking themselves to death in the cab of their bloody boss's truck out in a paddock. And, you know, they're pretty far gone. Their families have disowned them and they're. They're having these thoughts and about to. About to jump, literally. And they've had the courage to reach out and get help. And they are like they're. They're leaders inside of here and people looking up to them. And they're now back with their families and they're leading, Leading their kids and showing them what it means to be, you know, a strong father figure. And you look at what, that. What could have happened if they hadn't made that decision to go all in on themselves. Like, it's so easy, and there's so many fathers that do make that wrong decision. And yeah, to think that this isn't the path for you because you're too far gone. Like, you're never too far gone. You look at, they were seconds away from ending it and now they've turned it all around and they're fucking thriving. Like you mightn't believe it, but just have belief that, that you can do something better than, than taking that step because you can't take it back. And yeah, there's so many guys on the inside that, that have, that have stepped back from the edge and it's just, yeah, it's giving me goosebumps thinking about it because, you know, we all know the stories and we know the guys personally now that have, that have been on the edge and, you know, and coming back from drug addictions and alcohol addictions and guys drinking a dozen beers a night out in the shed, you know, thinking about pulling the trigger and now they're off the booze and they're running and they're going to catch ups and doing all these things with, with, with like minded men. So just don't, don't think you're too far gone. And you know, reach out, mate. Jump on the podcast. Reach out. There's always, even if you don't join, you know, reach out to someone, have a chat with the coaches. There's always, you know, there's a process to getting in and you have chats with coaches and you can run, you know, run your story past them and even if you don't join up, you'll get some nuggets out of it and just, yeah, as the big Jimmy Dinan says, never, never give up.
Yeah, amazing. Men in the past waste in the future too. Jimmy, that's a good one, man. But yeah, really hit home when you mentioned about some steps you can't take back. You know, we always think there's more chances in life, right? But not all chances are equal, are they? It's like some you'll have lots more of, including the last time you'll pick up your kid and throw him up in the air, you know, forever. I mean, Jimmy's pretty strong. He could probably do that forever. Man, I saw Jimmy do that with head coach Eric. Speaking of Eric, he's doing extremely well now. We, we're starting to talk a bit more in German. So when we have our meetings every morning, it's Gutens Morgan Meinfrand. And it's like he just. Poor bass, he shakes his head, lasts me like, that's why I'm never gonna hire HR Eric. I'm Never gonna hire someone from hr, mate. Don't worry about it. Because I'll be the first one they fire. But now he's a legend. Not all chances are equal, right? It's like, fuck, you know, it's. And, and some chances you'll never get again. You've only got so many shots in certain areas in life, and some chances give you no more chances at all, you know? And like Luke said, it's, It's. It's incredible. This group several times have been sharing around just the. The different caliber of men, all high perform, performing, but more importantly, committed and ambitious to grow and become more. That's like, that's. That's the qualifier, not money to join.
It's.
It's. Do you. Do you have it in you? Like, do you actually want more out of life? And, and, and when that switch flicks for you, mate, fucking game on. We'll go all the way, just like we have done and continue to do.
And they all have it in them. That's the thing. They've all got it in them that you've gotta. You gotta decide to fucking bring it out. Like, don't, don't think that you. It's not in you. Cause it is.
Hey, agreed, you know, you've all fucking got it in you, man. You. Especially if you're listening to this podcast, mate. You've got it in you. You got the right stuff, you know? No, I love it. Final. Can hear my. My baby's calling me. Might have to wrap this up. And I know that's not my beautiful wife. We'll be on a podcast next week, I'm sure, and she can roast me for everyone. He doesn't help at nighttime. Of course I do. Of course I do. But last one, final share. King Hutton iii, please be an honor.
Well, what to add to that, I guess from a personal point of view, I can't thank HPF enough for getting me thinking differently and protecting my family. My son is starting his own family. He's only a few weeks away from having his own son. So it's really become apparent to me how important that role model that leadership needs to be grounded, sound, honest, truthful, safe. All those. All those words that we use within hpf. I wasn't probably that man to start with. At least I didn't really know a deliberate way of doing that. HPF has pointed that out to me very clearly, and that's listening to these guys that have had young kids and have had that disconnect. So I'm really lucky now to have that opportunity. It would have been better a long time ago, so I could have made a bigger difference earlier in perhaps his life. But I've got that opportunity now to really be that man for my son so he can be a better man for his son. So we've got generational growth happening as we speak, which is really, really powerful. And it gives me hay fever thinking about it now, which I, I don't. I'm not really that comfortable with.
But
if that can be shared with one more father that has that disconnect with his family or himself, then my mission is to make sure that guy knows that story and knows there is a way forward. And whether that's HPF or not, it's, as you guys have said, it's reaching out, knowing that there is, there is a better way to look for it. You look hard enough, you'll find it. It's. It's there. I, I did. I tried a couple of things and then HPF really found me. So whether I was ready, not ready for it, when I was toying with the other things, perhaps that's, that's probably the universe's way of saying, let's get everything aligned and then bang, here it is. And since, since joining that my life is.
It's.
It's not a massive change in direction, but it's massive meaning in what. What's happening. So, yeah, I can't, I can't. I can't write it highly enough. And, And I really, really encourage everyone. Every man should, should have something like this in their life. A group of brothers that look out for them and will lift them up when they fall. It's. It's a, It's a very empowering thing. And the generational change is, Is phenomenal.
It's.
It's inspiring too, Hutto, because I know we joke around with. It's. It's a beautiful share, mate. It's, you know, appreciate you brain yard and you sleep with your emotions, man. We need the spread like it. Our community. You know, I know we joke about age, but mate, you're so inspiring and have so much wisdom to the guys who might be in their early mid-30s going through right in the middle of it and then. But they are invigorating in a great energy for some of the older bulls, like the community have ace. But then also like, yeah, man, let's say you were in hpf for, I don't know, let's say another 10 years, but your grandson will be 10 years old. How much will you be able to give him over 10 years of his life. Supporting your young son, who needs fucking help in his early 20s, trying to pave the way. But that's, that's invaluable. Invaluable, man. Stella's nine. So let's say she has kids in her early 20s. I don't know, 14 years, time 23. Fuck, mate, I'll be. I'll be 54. Like, I'll have so much more rocket fuel that I want to disperse and have left for the world and value to provide to my family. So much more to give. Like, just hearing you say my son's about to have another son straight away, I was like, oh, man. So it's so awesome. And you've mentioned before about how previous vices and whatnot has led to turning your son away from things like drinking and whatnot. But then it's become a gift in disguise and all these habits. This is what I love about HPF too, man. That the battle scars that we wear we can own emotionally or not and share and all show each other the scars that we have and know that it's actually a rite of passage for life because we've used it as fuel, not as a fucking story to sit back on and cry. Poor me. That's, that's, you know, I might be an intense man and seem like a hard man at time, but as you boys obviously saw it Cosby and have seen over the time, mate, that's, that's, that's love, man. I so much love for you guys. Embracing that and, and having that and respect, admiration. It's like a blend of both, mate, you know, love and respect for, for you guys saying yes to what's possible and making it real. Because without that, I've got nothing. We've got nothing. All we have is just a little glimmer, a little two minute dream while we're asleep of what could be, but never is in a world that's just fucking full of destruction. Yet here we are. We're actually living it. We've created it. We're just warming up. Thank you, man. Amazing to have you all on. Appreciate you all. Great share to finish with too Hutto. Hope you guys really enjoyed this podcast. I certainly did. And the time. Wow, nearly two and a half hours. It felt like minutes for us. Felt like we've been on for about 40 minutes, I reckon. You know, a couple of shares, couple of rounds. What a time to be alive. Hope this has served you men well. And above all else, please, as I always will always try to remember to say, take it. Fucking run with it. Take action. There's so much wisdom, not by my mouth, but by the mouths of these men and these leaders. Take it and run with it and apply it in your life. There's always action to be taken, and there's always first a way to see things and a choice that you can use to apply the right actions in your life. And we are here. We're here to serve. I'm here to give my life to this mission, including minute there. So if you haven't anything, please reach out. And for those of you on the inside, keep fucking ripping. Keep ripping and tearing, boys. We're not done yet. Let's close out the year strong, finish preseason strong, and and. And really come roaring into a massive fucking year ahead. Because I'm excited. Thank you, boys. Thanks for jumping on.
Thanks for having us.
Thank you. Ready to start now?
Yeah.
It's recording. Yeah, of course.
Awesome. Let's do it again.
Let's do it here.
Rehearsal.
Well, that wraps up another episode. And just as we wind this down, I want you to just reflect and think back through some of the goals, gold nuggets, some of the revelations, some of the sore points, some of the things that might have hit home with you. And then just look at ways that you can apply a different set of actions to change your position, change your circumstances, change your feelings, and change the facts. These episodes are done with your best interest at heart, and there's always something we can get from that. Maybe it's not the first time, maybe it's the second time. We've had members listen to episodes four or five times, and then a four finally clicks. But either way, I hope you got a lot of value out of this. And also, if this is something that you really want to solidify inside of your life, repetition is the key. You listen to it, write down your revelations, think about them, read them, speak them, believe in the changes that you will carve out in the action plan of those revelations to create change in your life and then share that. And when you teach, you learn the second time, right? So teaching and showing this to others you love and care about is the greatest way that you can remember. And make sure you consistently learn and relearn what is it's true and what is it is important to you in your heart. Take care. Have an amazing day, night, weekday, weekend, and I'll see you for another one soon. Cheers.
