Enjoy the episode and again, share the love, spread the love and let's create impact and change across the world. Cheer. Alrighty, Al's insights. Welcome to a session. Short, sharp. I couldn't wait any longer. Been under the pump. It's been a massive, massive month and couldn't wait any longer because Perth. Wow. Fuck, man, what, what an event. What an adventure. Big shout out to all you men in Western Australia and look, love doing the events that we ran along the east coast. That was phenomenal. We've got a great crew right up the guts. South Australia Northern Territory crew, boys down in Tassie. But for the first time planned going over when I had the health issues unfortunately a couple of years ago. But for the first time going over to Perth, man, fuck, the reception was phenomenal. Thank you boys. Thank you men, members and non members. You know, it was over 100 strong at our Perth event with men of the inside of HPF and men looking for more. And you know one, one word that I would say is besides brotherhood, tight, tight fucking crew over there. It's epic is gratitude. We really felt that. So for those of you who aren't on the inside yet, you came to the event and you listened to the podcast. May, thank you man. How awesome it was to serve you and the brotherhood of the Western Australian men. And for those members on the inside throughout the entire event, you know, the dinner, the brekkie in the morning, the workout in the morning, big shout out to Dave Kapolitzis and challenge fit at I think Mount Lawley. Mate, thank you for hosting us. He's one of our newest members. He's been with us for less than two weeks and offered to host us at his facility and that was fucking awesome. So for the inner circle who we spend more than a four hour workshop together and you guys fucking rock solid, absolute rock stars. Guys, I want to dive into. These came through to me. There's so much There always is and none of it's my idea. It's all inspired by the men and that's what I love. You know, we talk about a previous episode, the core values of hpf. I'm going to save this for another time, but I'm actually going to share some insights into essentially a one pager. So I've got one page here right now which contains, what is it, three, six, nine, less than 30 words on the formula. The blueprint to live an ultra successful life. I'll share that another time. We call them the HPF tenets, but one of those, one of the above the line principles is being a student for life. I absolutely am that. You know, I feel blessed to be in a space where my obsession of men, fathers and helping the family nucleus has given me the skills and tools to or the skill set that I've developed on pulling together so many stories of what to do, what not to do. The wisdom from all of you, it's what really inspires this. So I felt very compelled. Haven't done a podcast in a while. Lots of planning, big things in the works as always. But I got to get on and share some, some magic with you, man. And none of that comes from, from me. There are a couple of key one liners here that I want to share with you that will just help put some things in perspective and share a little bit of. A little bit of a story that I shared with my inner community earlier this afternoon. This is, this first one is pretty, pretty important, you know, but sorry, I've got to say it one more time before we dive into the first one. It's not quite a 40 minute intro, but I just want to say thank you again to all of the men in Perth members, non members. Fucking love it. It was amazing. Would love to live over there for a few months when the Bubs is born, see if I can get the. I don't think it'd be much to convince the wife to be honest. It's beautiful over there, but to. To live over there for a few months would be spectacular. So it's in the pipeline. I'm working on it. Once the baby's born, see if we can get the kids out of school and head over to Perth for a little while. It's the most isolated city in the world. Didn't even know that. That's crazy, man. Beautiful place though. Thank you for having us and we'll definitely be back. This first one. Judgments, judgments. And what I want to expand on this is really your self judgment you know, a lot of the times we try and pump ourselves up a little bit, you know, it's fuck, I'm doing this, this is great. And all that positive mindset and all that sort of shit, I get all that. But more often than not, as critical creatures which as had to shape up through our journey and evolution of survival as an instinct. I'm talking about your judgment of yourself and that inner critic of not being good enough. Judgments are subjective. And look, you can have the facts of life, you can have the truth and the facts in life, and provided they're real and accurate, they are objectively the facts. It is objective, is a very clear cut. This is absolute truth. Whereas the term subjective, subjective more built around your perceptions, your perspective, your viewpoint on things, how you see things. Are you magnified and zoomed in on something? I remember seeing this picture was like, oh, it was something. But if you looked at one side of the wall, I'm gonna fucking butcher this. But if you looked at one side of the wall, it said something like, don't ever do it or. And the other side of the wall was something like, just give up or whatever. But anyway, if you looked at the wall, zoomed out enough, you'd see both sides say something like, just don't ever give up. Something like that. Um, and that can be a subjective viewpoint. How zoomed in are you on something? How zoomed out are you on something? You know, I'm a fucking failure. Why? Because you had a treat on Friday night for dessert? Okay, cool. How were the other 20 meals out of the 21 meals that you had this week? Oh, they're rock solid, man. I'm 98% accurate with my nutrition. Oh, well done. Congratulations, mate. 80, 20 will probably get you most of the way there. Here you are, one little treat. So when I say most judgments are subjective, they really are. Because when you have a look at a lot of the judgment and look, man, this isn't to excuse us of anything. I've had heaps of fuck ups. I've fucked up plenty of times in life. HPF was born out of a fuck up. I can't believe. Can you believe it? I can't believe, you know, can't believe I'm able to say that and that that's true. How crazy, man. HPF and what we've created was born out of a fuck up. Isn't that crazy? I've got to pinch myself. It's looking at your judgment of things and knowing that most of the judgments we hold are subjective. Like I'VE openly said to my wife, hey, you know, like that affair and how I lost my shit and I was playing the wrong game of life and I let the fit. Like, you know all of that. Hey, guess what? I don't regret fucking any of it. Like, I've. Me and Krin have spoken about this several times and I've. She's just walking in with a baseball bat. Give me a second, boys, if there's no other podcast again, it's been nice knowing you. All jokes aside, she's carrying a knife. But all jokes aside, we've openly spoken about this. I said, hey, look, Corinne, I know I hurt you, and guess what? You fucking hurt me too. Take two hands to clap. But also, I don't regret that. I don't regret that. So judgments and the reason why I don't regret it, men like, I don't regret the other four or five major traumas in my life is off the back of that every fucking time. Have had something. I'm not saying that you should be pursuing a spectacular downfall in life. I'm sure there's. I don't know if easy is the word, but there's better ways to go about learning life's lessons without diving deep into the pit and digging, digging your way through every single time. On the other side of that has been a meteoric rise in who I am, my identity, my own evolution, every single fucking time. My goal with my son Roman and my daughters. But my son is going to become me in his own way, of course. But what I'm saying is he'll become a man. My children, my girls won't. My goal is how can I fabricate that inside of my son as much as possible in an environment that is not safe but has conditions that can foster similar lessons like lifting weights, for example. The bar never lies. Hey, son, you can bench press 100 kilos. Good luck. Do it 20 times. You will fail eventually. Beautiful life lessons that quote, unquote, aren't typically life threatening. So that is a challenge because I don't believe my son needs to go through what I've gone through to have the same drive. And I'm not the only person with driving ambition in the world. So there you go. Really important. So what changed? Well, at the time, it's hard, as you guys know, a lot of you guys listening to this. You could be having a breakdown in your marriage at the moment. Now, look, we're not a relationships guru yet. We fucking knock it out of the park when it comes to men becoming the Prize in of themselves and for their family, such that by doing that and the peripheral value they add because they're just a fucking man going out, producing, ambitious, going and hunting life, man on a mission type stuff. Amazing husband, but doesn't need or want. Amazing fucking husband in the skills he develops. But more importantly, amazing man and father. Wow. No agenda there, right? Oh, he's just being a great man in himself to get me back. Well, that doesn't make any fucking sense, does it? He's just being an amazing father to my children because they're my children too. To. To win me back. Well, hang on. He's. He's playing with the kids, not with you. Oh, he's just reciting love languages to get me back. Ah, can you see? So through a man navigating life, in becoming the prize again, he builds so much peripheral value where the wife's like, well, hang on, he's not doing any of that for me, but he's got what I want. Unreal. Not relationship gurus, though. So. So what is it that really ultimately sets us apart with these men is giving you clarity and direction on how to be successful in life. Fellas, you cannot have that if you are holding onto some inner turmoil and judgments of self. You look at your marriage, you look at your bank account, you look at your relationship with your kids, not being present with them, you'll look at your body in the mirror and you're like, ah, fuck me. And you just get hit. And I get it, man, it's tough, but they are subjective. Why are they subjective? Because one is your perspective, and there might be some truths to that, but it doesn't need to stay. And two, if you're in the present moment making that judgment, guess what? You can fucking do something about it. So just. Just hold off for a second. And this is my. My next piece of this. Just hold off on your judgments, but unleash on your actions. Hold. Hold the judgments. Just. Just hold them. You don't need to let them loose. Don't let them go fucking wild. Hold the judgments for now, but unleash and unload a fuckload of actions and go crazy on that, provided the quality action, the quality environment is true, which is what we do. Obviously with hpf, you're not going to miss, right? Because there is running enthusiastically in the wrong direction. Be careful of that. But that is so powerful, man. Just know that. You know what? Most judgments in this world, they're subjective, which means it doesn't have to a be the truth. It's just how you feel, whether it's about yourself kicking yourself down or about others or B, you don't have to hold onto those judgments either. And finally, hey, if there are any, look, just hold them for now. Don't hold onto them, but just, just hold, hold them back is what I mean. Hold them back. Just hang on a minute, hang on a minute. What can I do right now? And then go do something, create some change, create some actions. And, and, and that's what I love. Like if you haven't. But mate, give a. Give it to you for free. You can have it. But we've got a beautiful 21 day sprint. You'll rack up a. What is it? You know, eight different habits. 21 days, 168 wins. Three weeks. That's not even the psychology. That's the truth. You'll have eight habits over 21 days. You execute on all of them. You can't miss the mark. You gotta be disciplined on this one and devotion over discipline. So, hey, I'm fucking devoted to who I'll become after that three week block. Fantastic. Well, with that you need less discipline. You're devoted to the cause and the mission and the outcome. And then through that you'll have 168 victories. Boom. Action. So, so just be careful of your judgments. You can hold them back, don't unload them and then release, let them go in a different direction. Because you've got time, you've got perspective, and you've got options. As long as there's a beating heart and breath in your lung, you can do something really important. And I mean this more so around yourself, man. Like, we can be our own worst critic. Like everything you see in some of the greatest wizardry or ways that I speak and, and whatever, you know. Cool. Well, guess what? All that great stuff can be flipped in an instant into, into evil. Like into, hey, you're not good enough. Or like you could. Evil is probably not the word, but it could be critical. So as motivating or optimistic or fucking positive or uplifting as I can be for you, guess what? Those same neural pathways and that intellect and the way I can articulate words can be converted for the other side too. So we all need to be careful, you know, we all need to check ourselves and be like, well, hang on a minute. Yeah, okay, cool. You know, you've had a tough week or a tough month. Or like I came back from Perth exhausted and I'm sitting there Monday and I'm like. And I literally said this, be careful, don't Vocalize things too. Be very careful that. But I sit there and you know, it didn't really mean much, but. Because I know it was because of Perth, but I sat there going, man, I feel fucking lost today. Like I'm. My, my. I'm just like, I'm just cooked, man. Like, what, what an adventure. But I just. It was just the emotional bandwidth. I was just completely cooked. I was exhausted. So Monday was a SL day, but this is the thing where I know what that was. That was a one off. And here we are ripping into the fucking week and the week's gone like that. Crazy. But be careful of these little things. You just turn into criticisms of yourself and these judgments become your truth. When really it's like, well, hang on a minute, man. It's not about being the victim or just having excuses. It's finding that sweet spot and going, well, I don't have to judge myself this harshly and I don't have to hold onto this. If it is true to be my truth, I can do something about it. So just know that, man. More so when it comes to your own stories and just pulling yourself down. Life's fucking hard enough as it is. You got to lift and raise the bar and find the reasons on why you should go out and hunt and fight for a life worth living as opposed to the reasons it'll pull you away into a state of temporary comfort which then leads to despair and anxiety and worry, which almost always comes from you not doing what you can, you not taking actions. And, you know, we can experience a depressed state, but let's fucking outrun depression. Let's outrun and outwork that. And if I am depressed, cool, well, I'm gonna outrun you and catch me on my 85th birthday and then you can fucking take me and I'm dead like. And I know that's a bit of a silly, but think of that like an analogy, man. Like, we all have challenges in life in many different ways. Some of them just fucking outwork them. And if they're never gonna stop running, cool, catch me at the end. But for the next 20, 30, 40, 53 years, game on. You won't catch me. And you outwork some of those stories or those judgments or those beliefs or those feelings is the point. Second one. Got this from one of our members, Naz. Naz is phenomenal. Three year story. I should get him on the podcast. Can actually. Member of three years, saved his own life. So privileged to be part of the journey, man. Like hpf, obviously we love serving him but here's a man who, he did the work too, and wasn't happy with life anymore. Turned around, didn't take, didn't jump, didn't. Didn't end things come back, saved his relationship with Rose. Had his beautiful daughter October 13th last year, little Elena Vittoria. And man, how cool. Now he's on the front line connecting with men who are reaching out to hpf. You know, please, like, there's no seek.com looking for fucking salesmen coming off the back end of a solar career looking to fucking sell high ticket items. Like, if you ever reach out to hpf, you're going to connect with a member who's happy to share his journey. Hey, man, I was in your fucking seat. And that's what I love about HPF and how wholesome we are with what we do. But Naz, I think he's already impacted over 60 fathers walking through the gates, and that's 120 children, 250 grandkids that may or may not have been born yet. Incredible. He said he got a letter from Rose or she's writing her appreciation over the years of the unbelievable turnaround. But it is believable, right? He's done it. But the miraculous turnaround, incredible credit to him. And she said, I'm proud of where you've got to today. But then something along the lines, just a paraphrasing of not stop. And what I got from this was, whether you're talking to yourself or someone who's talking to you, be proud of where you've got to today. But don't let today's comfort rob tomorrow's opportunities. Be very careful of that. And that could be your wife saying, hey, I'm proud of you, John. I'm proud of where you got to today. But don't let fucking today's comfort Rob tomorrow's opportunity. Keep going. And we see that a lot with the wives who see the results with these men. Keep fucking going because they can see what it means for them. Don't fucking stop. Don't you get complacent. Don't you get where you were before? And credit to them. That's great because for us as men, it's not the lack of will. We don't get duds reaching out to hpf. They're very ambitious men. It's just that life has fucking swallowed them up. And it's very exhausting. It's very tough. But men, if anything, actioning this podcast, well done. Credit to you. Be proud of taking that step. Be proud of listening to this podcast, getting the fuck up and doing something today to win the day. But don't let the victory of today put you in a state of complacency to rob you of tomorrow's opportunity. And. And I really mean that, like, I. I'm not trying to be cliche, but it's so true, man. You are either growing or dying like there is. Every fucking day is the last day you'll ever live that day. If we can get out, let's get our head around that. Yeah, that's a really good quote. Every fucking day, gentlemen, is the last day that you'll ever live that day. I might write that down, actually. I think it's not a bad little. Like, there is no tomorrow, man. You know, I remember this. And this is not a call to arms for men who want to join hpf, but haven't yet. But I'll tell you what, if anything would kick you in the ass, it'd be this one. This was an old saying from Nike back I think it was in the 80s maybe. I don't think it worked very well because of how confronting it was. But I'll tell you what, I fucking love it. And it was four simple words. Yesterday you said tomorrow. I just want you to sit on that for a second. You know, that's. Are you a yesterday tomorrow man? I hope you're not. I never want to fucking be a yesterday tomorrow man. Ever, ever. Not one fucking day do I want to be a yesterday tomorrow man. Yesterday you said tomorrow. Isn't that like. That's because when you're drawing the same conclusion or excuse or hesitation or pause or stagnate or something, that is sitting in the spot. And you hear that, what that means is, ah, fuck, today is the tomorrow that I said I would do from yesterday. And here I am kicking that little fucking can down the road just one more meter, one more day. So that is. That is so important, men. Like today is. I have to re. Listen to it. I fucking forgot it. Something along the line. What was it? Today is the last day that you ever. You know, Today is the last day that you'll ever live or get this day. And that. That's really, really important. So how could you ever have. Coming back to my point. The same, there is never the same. Life is change. That's all it is. If life itself is a process, it's change always better or worse. Better or worse. If you are the same, help me understand how the same exists. But if it does exist, help me understand why it's good Please help me. I'm confused here. Help me understand why the same is good for you. Like the same isn't better because you're not improving. The same is. Hey, I've done everything up to this point in my life to be at this state, in this position, and I've taken so many fucking. I've chewed up so much chunks of life, so now I'm just going to take up more chunks of life. Because I'm the same. Like, I've built myself up to 2020, and now I'm the same between 2020 and 2030, man, you've spent 3,600 days the fucking same. You know how many fucking chunks of life you're just throwing away? You're the same person. How's that better? That's way worse. So you're either growing or dying. And if you think that you're staying the same, you're actually dying because you're using more fucking time. You're wasting more time as the same person doing the same shit. How is that valuable? I don't understand. I saw this video the other day. This billionaire, they asked him the good old question, hey, if you lost it all, could you get it all back? He's like, ah, fuck that, of course I could. But let's ask a better question. The value is time. I'm worth $4 billion. If you said to me, hey, I think he was 45 at the time. If you said to me, hey, we'll give you 10 years of your life back. Fucking take the money, man. Four billion. Even if I don't make it back, give me 10 years of my life back. Here you go, $4 billion. Take me back to 35. I'm 45. Done. That's a better way to ask the question, not if you lost it or could you make it all over. It's actually the value of time. Because in who I've become, that's the journey and that's the value and life itself. Take my fucking money back. But if you can give me 10, if you can take me in a time machine and take me back 10 years. Fucking done, mate. Take it all. I'll be a fucking bum again. I'll start from zero, men. That is why this second piece matters so much. Don't let today's comfort rob you of tomorrow's opportunities. So be proud of what you've got. Sure. And where you've come from. It's not that any of you are not good enough exactly where you need to be. And there's always more for you as well. But don't let today's comfort rob you of tomorrow's opportunity, man, because there is no the same. The next one that I want to share with you is. It was really simple, actually. Inspired by one of the members who spoke about his tenure with hpf. I think he's up to season three and getting close to his thousand day milestone, which is awesome. That's a good standard that we want to shoot for with hpf, with these men. How fucking amazing the changes. So good. And this guy spoke about the next step. He's like, you know, I found myself a bit up and down at times, like, you know, done HPF for a while now and what I do and it's like. And then one of the big things that really hit home for me is wanting to help others grow. And I. I know fellas, like tens of thousands of hours and millions of fucking words. You'd think that I'd seen or said it all. But I gotta tell you something about that. I immediately, I was on the phone room, so I immediately typed it in and sent it to myself. And then I wrote it down. Fucking beautiful. Three words. Just three beautiful words. Help others grow. I don't know why it seems so fucking might seem simple to you, but for me, I'm like, man, I've done this for a long time, for a lot of hours, and that's all I'm about. My life is I just in a good way, of course, I square my shit away as I need to be 100 to give 100. But then once I've done that, man, I'm here to sacrifice. I'm here to not sacrifice myself. Sacrifice the energy, the investment, right? Be a hundred to give 100. Okay, I've built up my hundred. Here, take the 100. I'm giving it away. Call it sacrifice, call it service, whatever you want. But cool. I'm here to get. I'm back down to zero. Cool. Build up to 100, back down to zero. I'm not here to be 100 and stay at 100. Like, that's our war cry, man. Be a hundred to give 100. Be a hundred. Be. Be 100 to give 100. Not be 100 to hold 100. Be 100 to save 100. Be 100 to fucking give 100. And every fucking day I'm exhausted. When I go to bed, I love to give the full fucking 100. Let's go all in, baby. Family, self and service. What can I do? So I'll be 100, but sometimes in that hundred. I'll give myself some of that. So training at the gym might be building myself up. In other times, a high intensity session. I've got a good hundred. Service doesn't need me that much today. It's a fucking Saturday. Well, there you go. Let's pour more into training. Big fucking session. Let's take a good chunk out of that. Put 30 into training, 70 into family. It's so powerful. Help others grow. But this is what I love most. Is what I love most. As we come close to a wrap up of Al's insights. Conscious of time. Conscious of time. Short, short bites for you all. Think about the process. This is what I love most. Think about the process. Help others grow. So what are you doing then? Well, you need to remember it's like our old amazing eight. I say old, we still use it, but it used to be a really big pillar, but now it's actually just a way of operating. You know, think it, feel it, write it, read it, speak it, believe it, enact it, reinforce it. It's reps, man. Help others grow. And you know what happens. Square your shit away. Make sure you're rock soling yourself first with that provided. The best part is you're developing and growing other people, which means you're relearning what you can do, which means you're remembering what matters most, which means you can give and you can serve and make sure you're 101st. But then pour into other people's cups and fucking give them. The best of you, man. Greatest gift a man will ever give his family. Very best of himself. Very best. That's a moving target. That's a changing baseline. That's a raising standard throughout the rest of your life. I'll be a completely different leader when I'm 80 than to when I'm 40. In August this year. Two months. Fuck, it's coming up quick. How cool? Completely different, but better in a different way. I might grow a beard by then. Who knows, being half Italian. Fuck me. It takes me six weeks to get a weak ass caterpillar on my lip. This is the value of giving to others. You remember, you're relearning again. You're thinking about how you're helping. You're solidifying your belief systems, your values. Help others grow. You can pour into others. And like I said, when you square your own shit away, when you're helping other people and having impact and spreading your impact and your footprint, it makes your fucking problems not so big after all. And again, I'm not Saying that because a lot of people do this, right? A lot of men do this. They hide behind it. It's easier to fix other people's problems than to fix your own. Well, that's my point of what I said earlier. Make sure your shit's squared away and then realize the value of helping other people solve their problems and helping other people grow. That's fucking great, man. It's awesome. And it helps you realize the insignificance of your problems. Oh, everyone's got this challenge. I'm not the only one that goes through this. Of all these other people that have these issues and challenges and I can help these people, these people are successful. So I need to make sure I remain successful. Or this person has something that I want so I can get better at that. Cool. They're a great inspirational lead in this area of life. And that you're building this beautiful spiderweb or ecosyste system. It's like. What's that I was saying? I said it on the plane to one of the guys. Yeah, that whole six degrees of separation when it comes to knowing people. Oh, it wasn't inspiration or some. Or something corny. Six degrees of inspiration. It was basically six degrees of like success and progress and development, like through yourself and sharing and connecting and networking. So in a different way, action based. With people, you're more than squared away to have all the elements that can help you be productive and do something today. That's. It felt compelled. Al's insights, another one knocked up for you gentlemen out there too. Really? And the ladies who listen to this, I mean, there's some that do get insights into how men think, what we're looking at with our desires, our hopes, our dreams, what we're looking for as men. Look, the problem in the world is very fundamental. There is a lack of, through the bullshit and the access to all environments and technology, a lack of clarity on what defines success in life, and a lack of direction in how to achieve that success in life. HPF has sold that, solved those two problems with more than enough of a track record to also develop trust that our pathway is a fucking beautiful one at that. So what does that mean? Well, we give you clarity on what defines success in life. Not business, not relationships, not fucking. Health, life, the bigger game. And we give you those directions on how to actually achieve that in the modern world as a husband, man and father. And that that's what all in is. And just. Just on that, I just want to wrap and tie this together and why this means something. Because I did say I'd share a short story from the inside, what I was sharing with the guys which ties all of these together, really. Judgments being subjective. Don't let today's comfort rob you of tomorrow's opportunity in helping others grow. I was in Perth and bowling with the team, so bowling with the team. There's about 10 or nine of us. Yeah, nine of us. Five in one lane, four in the other. We were the five, so we were going slower. Lost the first game. I come like maybe sixth or seventh, so to me that was a loss. I'm an ultra man. I'm so fucking competitive if I have control over something. One of the boys is trying to rib me about the origin. I was like, ah, man, I don't give a fuck. Because I didn't have a personal influence and way to control the situation, so why would I worry about something I can't control, you know, but, but, but obviously, you know, enjoy sports and all things, but yeah, he didn't get me there. But now we're bowling, all of a sudden I'm professional bowler, right? 10 pin bowling. Here we go. And the boys are ripping in, doing pretty good. Most of them got over 100 in the first game. I'm like, oh, me? All right, cool. Well, this is, you know, not going to bowl 300. Perfect game, but I'm going to give it a crack. Second game in, off to a great start. But I just. Even in the first game, I couldn't get any strikes. It was always like eight and a spare, nine and a spare. And I was like, what the fuck's going on here? It's frustrating. Just started good in the second game with lots of spares, so none were missed or something like that. And the boys were looking. I was like, oh, I was shaping up pretty good. And one of the other coaches, Harding, he got, I think 131. He's like, oh man, if you do really well here, you could go pretty close. And we're at like the fourth set, fifth set, kept going, kept going. Got to about the eighth or ninth set and I was sort of consistent and holding, but just wasn't there. And I got to the 10th set and this is what entered my head. And this is, yeah, this is just me sharing my truth as well with you men as me being someone who's, I wouldn't say overly vulnerable, but just like you. I have these stories that creep in because I'm ultra critical of my performance. Super fucking critical, almost perfectionist. One degree of perfectionism which makes me rip in and take action, but, you know, set a really high standard. And the story that came into my head is, here we. This is literally. I know this is funny, man. Could be. Could be the devil, you know, who knows? But this is literally what went on inside my head. Like I said before about, you know, wielding my skills for good and bad. Here we fucking go. You're rocking up to the 10th set and the almost band, the comeback king. Never fucking win. You know, you're always so close. You just one off and you never fucking win, do ya? This is literally. Men. This is like, it was pretty clear. Now I've used that. It's. It's all on me. It's my fault. I've used that in the past to drive myself. Like, I've used that, like when I was in a CrossFit comp when I shouldn't be there, given my size, with footy. And so I use that as a negative reverse psychology to go, all right, we'll get the fuck up. I'll show you who's boss, motherfucker. And rip in. So lots of swears today. I'm extra passionate. So this voice is like, I hear he is the fucking comeback king, mate. You're always short, aren't you? You never win anything, do you? You always get close and. And then you don't win. And I was like, I'm looking around going, where the this coming from? Like, bastards. Like, all right. And. And. And it was hard because I was. I was actually acknowledging it. I was like. And it wasn't even. I mean, credit to the boys, you know, I shouldn't. I shouldn't be the one that deserves to win. It's a game, but I'm competitive and that. Just lining up. He'll be right. I think it was maybe the eighth set, reasonable hit. Ninth set, reasonable hit. Just. Just focus. Don't worry about that. And this little voice is chirping away, lined up the tenth one, fucking bang. I got like a. Like, that was the ninth. It was ninth or tenth, like, fucking bang. Strike. Strike. Spit, boy. I just shot right up and I think I got. In the end. I got harding by like three or four. I got 134, 135, and I won. But the funniest part, just reflecting on that isn't about winning one game of bowling because I lost the first game anyway, but it was actually just sitting there. And you know what my response was? My response was, well, motherfucker, that's because I keep leveling up and changing the playing field. That I choose to fucking play in and. And I just want to leave that note with you guys there today, because it is true, I've never fucking won. And I've always been that fucking loser or losing or failed or missed the mark or the almost. You know, I'm surprised I didn't get the nickname Almost Al when I was younger. But then I look back and I reflect. I'm like, well, hang on a minute. Judgments are subjective. Certainly wasn't letting today's comfort rob tomorrow's opportunity because I kept changing the field. And through this, I've inspired and helped so many others to grow in their own journey as well. I went from nothing. I might have played like a little bit in school, mucking around with my mates and be touch footy, but I went from nothing to first grade squads in 18 months in rugby league. That's fucking unheard of, man. And I'm not saying this to pump myself up. What I'm saying is you have wins inside of you. You just need to bring them to the forefront. I went from strong fit, finished school, don't know what to do with my life. Hey, I'll play sport. Hey, why don't I try for the team that won it the year before I was the St. Mary saints. Well, they're pretty gun Tomic team. All right, let's. Let's go meet. What was his name? Jim Jones. Jonesy shook his hand, said, g', day. Hey, mate, we'd love to play. Hey, big strapping lad. Come to preseason rock up. There's like fucking 70 people there. I'm like, this is the club. Hey, this must be the place where everyone wants to be, man. This is under 19s. C grade footy. What the fuck are there 70 people here for, man? I'm not. I'm not joking, kid. You not. 17 spots. And it's not that coaches have their favorites. Troy Castle, legend of bloke. Loved him as me first coach. But they've got their team. They've obviously got people who played the year before, you know, and they've got people that they know, they've got experience. No one knew who the fuck I was. Like, who the fuck's this big white dude who's just fucking crushing everyone in preseason because I didn't have an. I just made. I was in peak shape. I was in peak form for preseason. Probably not the way to do it, but hey, got me a start. And then from there made the squad on the bench, made starting men of the matches, I don't know, six or seven Letters for Jersey, Flag, you know, from the. I don't think it was Dragons. There was Roosters, Tigers, Bears, Panthers, Eels. One or two others, maybe the Knights. Josie Flag. Playing Josie Flag and so sorry. 18 months, went from C grade into Fleg again on the bench. Made the squad with Fleg on the bench, starting bang. Straight up in reserve grade. Bang. Training with first grade. So I wasn't playing first grade in 18 months, but went from. From that nothing, nothing to mixing it with reserve and reserve graders and first graders in 18 months. But then six, six more. Sorry. Nine operations, reconstructions, injuries, mate. One first grade game. Wasn't even a game. It was a trial match against the Bulldogs. So I didn't even play a registered game of first grade. Fucking bang. Knee gone, Done. Thank you later, sorry. Thank you, thank you. See you later. Yeah, definitely. Don't thank me later for that. Four operations later. Three on the knee, four total. Sorry. Three extra ones on the knee. Two on the shoulder, one on the jaw. Two on the jaw, sorry. One on the elbow. Like, fuck me. There's nine operations. Bang. Career destroyed. The almost man rose from nothing. But then no first grade. One trial match and then gyms and then cross it, make regionals. Can't fucking catch a break. Oh, look at the sport I'm doing, man. It's built for 5 foot 8, fucking 80 kilo dudes. I'm 6 foot 4 and 113. Running gyms is a business, man. No fucking financial reward there. Trying to have kids, ivf, struggling with my wife. So it's like all these things, it's just fucking hard work. Like never had a fucking straight path. Now, I'm not saying I should or feel entitled to it. Like you and I both know life isn't fair, but. But I look at all of this and then hpf, man, I gotta tell you, boys, like, go to the first episode, sure, there was vigor and inspiration there, but for years, pulling fucking teeth just to drive men to action and change. Obviously wasn't the leader I needed to be. So I needed to improve, to drive more influence and change. Fucking hard work. This is my point. Every fucking time. Before I even won, I chose to level up and go to a different place. Started in a fishbowl, then I went into a puddle of water. Then I went into a pond. And then I grew as a fish. And. And I wasn't the biggest fish in the pond. There are other fish that used to nip at me and bully me and pickle me, but I was like, you know, hey, there's A pool over there that's bigger than this pond. Fucking bang, leap out of the water into the pool, started to grow, eat a lot more. Wow, there's some bigger fish in this pool. This is a 12 meter pool. There's some solid fish in here that have put me in my plate. I'm not the top fish in here. And it's like, yeah, but this, this pool on acreage and I can see this acreage is actually a river. In that river there's a really big lake that's bigger than this pool. Yeah, I'm not the biggest fish in this pool, but you know what? Well, look at that lake and that body of water. I wonder what that has for me. Big leap and tails fluttering and I land, just flop, flop, flop over into this river stream and then bang, goes out into a big lake. Or don't know that's geographically how it would work, but you know, rivers into a lake. But yes, this stream of water moves into this bigger lake and wow, there's some fucking mate. There's some big fucking beasts in this water. I better eat up, I better get big and I better fucking be able to pull my own weight. And next thing you know I'm like, well, hang on, I just started as this, I don't want to say, I don't want to say goldfish because my eyes aren't that puffy. I just started this little fish, that's what they call them little tetras, the shiny tails. I just started this little fish in a fishbowl and somehow made my way when I got put out one day on the table in bit of sun to leap out of that into a puddle of water which then took me into a pond, which then got big enough fins to jump into a pool, jump into a lake, and this lake, funnily enough, like, backs onto like, you know, just imagine where you've got this ocean and shoreline and weirdly enough, just use your imagination. But the point is this. I've chosen to go from environment to environment to environment and keep leveling up and keep going and growing, going and growing, going and growing to the point where you know what fellas like, yeah, I might not have won, but now I'm becoming a motherfucking killer whale in the ocean. And that's exactly what HPF is. That's what you choose. If you live the HPF way of life. It's not to be a 1% man in business and make lots of money, not to have a fucking six pack. It's not to have a Fucking great relationship and, you know, love languages and have more sex and communicate with your wife and all these other hooks that everyone keeps trying to pull in their marketing advertising to pull you into their fucking way to sell you something. Because their agenda, their ideals, it's like, no, no, this is the game of life. And we choose to be the apex killer fucking whales, the apex predators. What better fucking gift? Like, I don't know what you think exists beyond the realm of this life, but hate to think you'd be reincarnated. And you're wrong. You've got one fucking shot. So, yeah, I didn't win. I wasn't the prettiest fish in that bowl, and I didn't stand out in that puddle. And in the pond, I got picked on a little bit. And in the pool there were some big who were flexing their muscles as I leaped out and went into the lake. Yeah, sure, there was heaps of big fish and I had no place I didn't stand out. But I found my way into the ocean. And now, nothing better than growing with a pod of killer whales to be the ultimate fucking hunting party in the ultimate game. That is life. To be a 1% man in life. I don't know if that combines for you with all these one liners that I shared today, or maybe I just felt compelled to share that with you all, but that's my story, man. Like, that is. And, and, and it's. It's all the same shit. Go big or go home. Like, one shot. Don't fucking miss the basket. Go all in and stay all in. Like, like that's a choice. It's not an ability. It's not something you're born into. If you're listening to this podcast, you got a pretty good shot, right? I came from nothing, man. I grew up next to Man Druitt. Like, you've got a pretty. I'm not there yet either. I can't fucking wait to see where I'm in 10 years. But I don't want to rush the time either. I appreciate the journey and all the pain that's come with it. There's so much fucking pain. This is so hard. But what's the alternative? Choose the biggest body of water? Choose to go all in on life and choose the right pod, the right people to go out and hunt and become that big fucking killer whale in the ocean in this crazy game called life. And I promise you, not only will you get what you want, but you will help others achieve what they want to. And that's your Fucking legacy. That's your everlasting footprint. Hey, you're wealthy. You set up for life. Fucking great. How many other people have you made wealthy? How's your mentorship going? How's your program going? How many juniors are you fucking bringing up? You got a six pack. Great. How you making more fucking money and leveling up your skills in the marketplace? Instead of spending 12 hours a week in the gym, maybe cut it to 8 and level up. Hey, you great family man. Awesome. How's your, your body? Are you in shape? Or maybe you should step the up and take that risk and go all in. Now you've got stability at home and start that business or change that career or level yourself up professionally. It's just levels. It never ends. Never ends. Be the killer whale hunt in the ocean. Accept and choose nothing less. And accept nothing less of yourself and your standards. And accept nothing less of life itself and what it has to offer. Thank you, men. I'll see you on the next one. Well, that wraps up another episode. And just as we wind this down, I want you to just reflect and think back through some of the golden nuggets, some of the revelations, some of the sore points, some of the things that might have hit home with you. And then just look at ways that you can apply a different set of actions to change your position, change your circumstances, change your feelings, and change the facts. These episodes are done with your best interest at heart. And there's always, always something we can get from that. Maybe it's not the first time, maybe it's the second time. We've had members listen to episodes four or five times and then it finally clicks. But either way, I hope you got a lot of value out of this. And also, if this is something that you really want to solidify inside of your life, repetition is the key. You've listened to it. Write down your revelations, think about them, read them, speak them, believe in the changes that you will carve out in the action plan of those revelations to create change in your life and then share that. And when you teach, you learn the second time, right? So teaching and showing this to others you love and care about is the greatest way that you can remember. And make sure you consistently learn and relearn what is it's true and what is it is important to you in your heart. Take care. Have an amazing day, night, weekday, weekend, and I'll see you for another one soon. Cheers.
