Rafaella M describes her Harvard Business School MBA application process with Eline's team. She shares the challenges she faced, how the team provided emotional support and strategic guidance, and what helped her get in.
Hey, everyone, this is Rafa. And I worked with Eline and her team, and I got accepted to hbs. So I'm here to tell you guys a little bit how it was. I think I had a very unique situation, which was between me telling Elyne I think I might want to do an mba. Could you help me there? And the first deadline, which was HBS. We had 45 days, and I hadn't even started studying for the GMAT. So I think it was a very stressful situation. But Elin not only helped me, you know, navigate all the steps, which are quite a few in terms of thinking about your brand, your goals, why you want an mba, the schools you would like to attend, starting the applications, you know, all the essays, reviewing them, adjusting them, thinking exactly the story you want to put forward, and taking the digimat along with that. I think it was helpful both that she and her team were super well organized in terms of I knew exactly all the steps I needed to do until the application day and after that in terms of the interview preparation, but also in terms of, let's call it emotional intelligence, like keeping calm, being confident you can do this. And, you know, if you don't feel ready for round one, there is always round two. So I think that kind of positioning also helped me deal with the stress and the pressure I was putting on myself. So if you guys are maybe as I were thinking that maybe an MBA is a good thing to do, or maybe if you guys are already super sure that's what you want to do, I totally recommend Elaine and her team. Everybody's so amazing, so nice, and so competent and talented in what they do. You can't go.
