This is a YouTube video titled "INSEAD Motivational Essay Tips" created in October 2024, featuring Ellen, an MBA coach, who provides detailed advice on common mistakes to avoid in INSEAD application essays, focusing on authenticity, relationship impact, activities, and demonstrating a global mindset.
The majority of INSEAD applicants are going to make these four mistakes in their essays, and you want to make sure you avoid them. Hi, I'm Ellen, the MBA coach and I share all the best kept secrets you need to get into top schools like insead. Number one in your motivation essay, be self aware about your weakness. Saying that you're too much a perfectionist or you're always anxious is not a great answer here. Choose something that's authentic and show how you're working on it. Second, in your essay two, if you're not connecting your failure and your weakness to how it impacted your relationship with other people, you're not doing it right. So. So make sure you include this for that reason, failures like not getting into a school on your first try are not going to be great choices here. Third, in essay three, if you're not talking about your activities and how they enrich you, you're making a huge mistake. They want to see how these activities make you better, so make sure you share that. Finally, you're not showing off your global mindset. Make sure you include international examples here, because that's key to showing fit for INSEAD. Over 30,000 people a month. Read my blog, so check the caption for detailed tips on how to write the perfect INSEAD essay.
