From Nanny to $10K/Month… With Just ONE Skill

Destiny went from nanny to earning £10,000 a month in high-ticket sales through Shelley Young's Female Sales Accelerator program. She credits the structured modules, live role-plays, and weekly mentorship for her success, plus a shift in mindset toward focusing on controllable inputs. Her next goal is moving to closer roles to reach $20K+ months.
Chapters
Destiny started working with me when she was at a bit of a crossroad with her nannying. The nannying family that she was working with kind of moved away, and she didn't know what path to take next. And within a week of searching, she ended up here, which I'm so happy about. Destiny has absolutely killed it, um, in this industry and has been able to achieve £10K months, which is like 2 to 3x her nannying salary. At 25 years old, which is insane. I know this case study will resonate with so many girls watching this who know you are meant for more, who are maybe happy with where you're at, you know, you don't mind it, you enjoy it, but you want more. You want more freedom, you want more drive, you want more money, um, and you are not afraid to work for it. So yeah, let us just dive straight into it. Destiny, I'd love for you just take us back a little bit before sales. Give us a bit of an idea of your background and what brought you to me.
Yeah, so I was nannying for about 5 years. It was with a lovely, lovely family. They were very kind. They really welcomed me in. I had raised her son since she— he was about 6 months old till he was 5. Um, and you know, I'm still in and out. Sometimes I'll go to visit them and Yeah, like you had mentioned, like they had moved away and I was really just like, what do I do now? You know, I did try to look for another nanny family. It didn't seem to be the right fit, especially because I was so spoiled the last 5 years. I was just like, no, this isn't really clicking with me. Um, and so I was just like, okay, I'm a big person on like, you know, what's meant for me will come. So I was, even though it was difficult, I let go of that second nanny job and I kind of just was like, all right, well, I've been working for so long, so I can take a little break. And I stumbled across your ad on YouTube one day and I gave I, you know, clicked it, watched your testimonials, watched your looms that you had set up, and I was like, all right, let me just fill out this application, see what this is about. And then Ruby had called me, and it was great because she had called me, but I didn't get it because I was on my laptop, but she had texted me too. So I got on my laptop, ran to my phone, I'm like, yeah, you can call me. And she was super sweet. She helped me get set up to have a conversation with Rajat instead. And so I met with Georgia and she was lovely. And, you know, I had in my mind like, okay, I'm willing to invest, you know, X amount of money in myself. And I know you said in your video it was like a low 4-figure investment. So I was like, okay, like I'm willing to do that. And then when Georgia had let me know the price of the program, I was like, okay, all right, I'll do this. What was highlighted was like, you have to put in the work. Like if you don't put in the work, like you're not going to see the results. And so I really like that because I, you know, I like to be held accountable for my actions. So I really appreciated that. And your Dream Offer Formula was— it's at the time it sounded legit, right? So I was like, I'm willing to give this a try. And obviously it is legit. And I'm really glad that I invested and I took that leap of faith because I wouldn't be, you know, where I am now. 100%.
And why sales? Like, apart from the ad, have you ever heard of the industry? Were you looking into it or was it literally just you found my ad?
I literally just found your ad. Um, and I mean, I'm just super social, super bubbly. I love people. I was born and raised in New York City. I am in like a smaller town where there's like not many people. Um, but yeah, I've just always loved being social and I just felt like it was something that I could do. Again, I was just like, let me look into it. Let me see if it's for me. Um, and yeah, I just like, I knew that anything I put my mind and heart to that I could achieve. Yeah, I've always been that way. And like you said, if you want something you've never had, then you have to do something you've never done. And I was like, I love that. Yeah, 100%.
I think we share a lot of similarities. Even down to— we were just laughing before— you found high ticket sales in a week and took action. I found high ticket sales in a week and took action. And do you have to always be like that? Of course not. Everyone makes decisions differently. But I think when you just have that pure conviction and trust in yourself. Like you said, I knew that whatever I put my mind to, I could achieve. And I think from day one when we met each other, I think your energy is infectious, and I think you always had that drive. So it was never like if, it was always when, um, which I think obviously you've done such a fantastic job. So I'd love to know, obviously you're coming into a program you've never invested into yourself before. So how did you feel coming into the Female Sales Accelerator?
I felt like, Destiny, you're gonna give this your all. This is gonna be your 9 to 5 now. Because I wasn't working, so like I woke up in the morning and I remember on like our first meetup, I was like, Shelley, you tell me what I need to do and I'm gonna do it. I don't want to follow my route. I don't want to follow what I think is going to be best for me. Based off of what you know about me, where should I start? Then where should I go? And, you know, and I just followed exactly that. You were like, take your time, don't rush through the modules, don't try to skip ahead and apply too early. And I listened and I benefited from it.
I think that's it, right? Because it's so easy to want to take the shortcut. And I say this, I'm not like a broken record to the girls in the program. Like, they're like, I just want to get a job. And I'm like, I get it, but if you do XYZ instead, you're going to see the benefits. And I I think you did that. You were always very much like, ego to the side, I trust you. And you really did put your blind faith in me. And now we were joking, I see you in the WhatsApp group giving advice to the other girls, like, do this, do that, do the other, um, because it works. And I think that's the best to your work ethic. So I'd love to know, how do you feel myself and the partnership within the Female Sales Accelerator has supported you to achieve what you have in that, in this short amount of time?
Yeah, I mean, well, one, the way that you have structured your program, like the school community and the classroom, is very, very, very well. Like it's, it's foolproof, honestly. Like as long as you follow everything, like there's no way you're not going to get the information. Everything is laid out there just, just perfectly, in my opinion. I don't mean to like toot anybody's horn and stuff like that, but it's really well put together. Um, and I would say that it was really nice coming in and knowing that I wasn't the only girl joining at the time. Like there was a bunch, like you constantly have girls coming into the program, so everyone's new and they have people to talk to and feel on the same level. And, um, obviously your, uh, your input on like, hey, do I think it was 7 role plays per week minimum or 6? Yeah, 6. And I was doing 15, so I was making sure I had 3 every single day. Like I was like not joking. Um, and yeah, it was just really nice because I got to meet women from like all over the world. Like I remember I was talking to someone from Poland, someone from Spain, someone from Portugal, the UK, and it was like really cool to like meet all these other women because I just felt supported. And also it's nice to just like talk to people again, especially when you're watching toddlers all day. Yeah. Yeah. And so yeah, it was great to just like have women there to, you know, give me advice and to just get better and feel really good. And then obviously your live roleplay, I was always making sure I was raising my hand. Because I wanted, I wanted that top dog advice. The attention. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I always say that you have to be so selfish with the attention. Like, when I was closing, I would always steal the attention. The sales manager, the mentor, anyone. I'm like, pick me, tell me, I want your advice. And I think you were similar, like, you have to be selfish because you want to be the best, right?
So I noticed like some girls were like, oh, I'm too shy to even start a role play with like a random person. Like, I wasn't shy to start roleplaying with newbies. That was when I got on that live roleplay with you that I was like, I'm actually kind of nervous right now to start roleplaying in front of Shelley. Yeah, exactly. I was like nervous now. Um, but it always felt so good to like just get your feedback, any constructive criticism, because I'm always open. And I mean, still to this day, I'm always open. I'm like, please tell me something I can do better. Um, And so yeah, that was, that was pretty good.
And I know we touched on the social aspect earlier, but it, it sounds like— I know a lot of women, their concern could be, because we're naturally more social beings, that, you know, going into a remote job, how will that be isolating? Or, you know, would they enjoy that? But you've got your offer, which I'd love for you to talk a bit about, but also the community aspect. So how have you found going into like a remote workplace, if you will?
Well, I would definitely say obviously depends the offer, right? I've only had this offer because it's literally been the best offer, so I didn't ever feel like leaving. But yeah, I would say I came in, it's really small, like, program, so, or like the group is small. I think it's only about like 7 or 8 of us, so it's like very intimate. Yeah, it was just me and another setter and we are like literally best friends. She like caught me up to speed when I first got in. We met in person. She came to come visit me and then obviously like we'll FaceTime every morning. We'll have like morning FaceTimes. We're like, all right, we're going to dial the opt-ins and now we're going to do 0 to 7 and then we just like do everything together. And it just feels really nice to know that we're supportive of each other and keep each other up when one's down. Because like you said, like one day You know, one month sales, you're gonna be up here and then the next day you might be down, or the next month you might be down and it's like, ugh, you know, but mindset's so important. So we're there for each other in that way. My sales manager's great. We do 2 meetings a week. Uh, we do an all hands-on meeting with the entire group and then we have like a separate setters meeting for like any catch-up or, you know, help with anything. So I feel very supported. I can also message him whenever I have a group chat with the other setter and him, so I'm always able to like talk to him. Um, and yeah, I mean, sometimes I'd feel down in mindset when, like, when I first started, but every time after, like, a team meeting, I always felt so good. I'm like, oh, because he just reassured me, like, it's okay, or you're doing amazing. And just the environment in general has been so nice. And then also just being able to have my own schedule. Um, I was able to visit my mom in Florida and take my laptop and work out on the screened-in porch, and it was just so nice, like my little cup of coffee and, you know, just having that flexibility. Um, and knowing I just have a supportive team. I mean, honestly, it's been better than having like a, uh, in-person job, you know?
What was that like being able to travel, see your mom and, and still be able to earn?
Just is like, it doesn't feel real sometimes. Like even my $10K month, I'm like, hmm, it just like still hasn't hit. I'm just like, no, you know, it's like, so, but it's been just like such a blessing, Shelley, truly to just know that I'm one, not missing out on any money. You know, like usually I'd have to be like, hey, I need to take off, um, and then go see my mom. And if I didn't have vacation days, then I like wouldn't get paid for it. And, you know, it just— I've never felt like I've had this much flexibility. I don't have to tell someone when I need to use the bathroom or when I need time off or anything like that. I have full flexibility and like ownership of my own life, um, which is really, really nice. And then, yeah, like just knowing I can travel and still work is great because obviously that stops people from going places They're like, I have to make money, I have to pay bills. And so it's like, my friend, the other setter, she's in Brazil for the month, you know? And then she's like, I never want to leave. So it's just like really nice to know that we can travel the world, we can still work. And yeah, it's just such a blessing. It's all I can really say it is, because that's what it feels like.
It's kind of crazy to think of life before, right? Now you've had a taste for what's possible.
Never leaving this job. It's kind of insane, right?
Like, 10K months, like you said before, you paid off the investment for the program within like 5 weeks of getting into this. So like, how would you say anything's changed for you since embarking on this journey?
Um, yeah, I would say like my perspective on working Honestly, like my husband's a contractor, so he does a lot of like physical labor. And, and I wouldn't say, you know, in the sense like, oh, he works 10 times harder. Like mentally, obviously sales is like a mental job for sure. My husband's is more physical, but like sometimes I like look at his monthly income and I'm like, babe, like, that's so crazy that like I made $2,000 this week and that's sometimes what you're pulling in in 4. It's like wild to me. Um, and so like my perspective on like income has really changed and just like how work should be or is. Um, but yeah, I would just say like, it's weird, but it's like almost numbers now, you know? It's like before it would feel like, oh, this is real, but like $10,000. And then I just like look at my bank account and I'm just like, all right, when's the next month? You know, like it's just so weird how that works. Cause when I came in, I told myself, I'm like, okay, all I need to make is $4,000 a month just to replace my nanny job. Like, I'm happy with that, and I still am really super happy with and content with whatever I make. But like, just to have exceed— like, excelled in that type of income is just insane to me. Just like, what do you mean I'm making just like a casual $5,000, $6,000 every month from my home? It's just a game changer.
And I think we spoke about confidence earlier, but I I truly think for a woman to have a skill that one, no one can ever take away from you, and two, that you know that the direct correlation for the effort you put in is what you get out is extraordinary. And it's kind of like a best kept secret because everyone who's like looking at it thinks it's saturated. I'm like, guys, you have no idea. Hardly anyone knows about this. It's like still so underwrapped. So, do you see yourself differently now? I know we spoke about confidence and how you articulate yourself is a big thing. But what would you say to that?
Yeah, I would definitely say that the way I'm able to articulate myself and to be more concise, straight to the point, not a lot of filler words. It's definitely been a change in that. I've been able to see my confidence and my bubblyness. I don't know if that's like a way I could say it has come back. I find myself having conversations with like random people that I meet and it's just like I feel like I already know them and I'm able to really connect with intention and it's really because of my sales role. And I also have a sales role where I'm speaking to other women who are like wives and have children. They're really burnt out. And so I'm able to really connect with them and understand them on a different level and really help them to feel confident moving forward. It's almost like a mini therapist session and it's just like, I love connecting with them and making them laugh and you know, even though they're really stressed out and also seeing their wins, like they come in like not really realizing the light at the end of the tunnel. And then a couple of months later, they're like, you know, free again. They feel so good. And I love working for a company that, that can change women's lives like yours. Thank you.
And I think that is the beauty, right? We spoke so much about the money, but then there's the other side of like truly being able to help other women and other people in general. And I, Sometimes I get asked, like, why did you start the Female Sales Accelerator? You were doing so well, like, closing.
What?
I'm like, but you don't understand, like, to be able to help so many people and truly see the impact. And obviously you're seeing that too, because as a salesperson, like, to help other women, there's no better feeling, would you say? It seems extraordinary.
It is for sure. And yeah, the money is great, but it's the bonus. Some people may not come into the sales thinking that way, but you can definitely tell the difference between someone who cares only about the money and then about actually helping their prospects. And I care about helping my prospects. I care about that the most. My sales manager knows, I'm like, if I only get my base this month, that's fine. You know what I mean? I'm still content because I put in my 110%. I didn't just make my base because I was lazy or didn't work hard or anything like that. Happen to be, that's, that's probably what just the month was. But what matters to me is having genuine conversations with these women, making sure I'm doing everything I possibly can to make sure that I'm giving them the best support and helping them feel confident and encouraged to move their foot over to, you know, getting connected with our director position, Provider Wellness, and, you know, potentially changing their lives. And I've seen a lot of lives changed in the last 5 months, and it brings me immense joy. You know, I've cried on after-sales calls. I've watched closing calls and I've I've cried, and it's just like, I'm just, I love my position here. I love the company that I'm working for. It's just very genuine.
Yeah, I love that. For anyone thinking about getting into the space, like, what's been your biggest lesson so far, would you say?
Um, you just have to hold yourself accountable. Like, you have to do the work, you know. This is not, it's not just going to come to you on a silver platter. Like, you've actually pretty much put, given it to us on a silver platter, but you have to just do the work. You know, you can't be lazy, you can't skip things, you can't rush things. Um, I try to tell the girls in the group, you know, that if you rush, you're gonna find yourself going all the way back and then actually delaying your progress when you should have been here because you jumped here first. Now you're here again, you're actually taking longer when you would have been here if you just took it slow. That's like the little tortoise and hare race story, you know, it's, it's literally that. And so Yeah, I would say that that's really what it is. It's just do the work, um, take it seriously, and believe in yourself, really.
Yeah, I feel like we should put that little tortoise and hare YouTube video in the modules. Module 1, watch this.
Don't be the hare. Yeah, exactly. 100%, that's a good idea.
Um, was it harder than you expected?
Um, That's a really good question. Yes and no. I say that because of the mindset aspect. Like in reality, in like work, really it just is work. Like everything else, when you're learning something new, you have to take the time to do it. But the mindset part, that is tough. I found myself when I finally finished Phase 1 and I felt so confident, my script was good, my tonality was good, my objection handling was good. And I got to the looms. Now I have a bald spot because it's just— I'm like, oh my goodness. Like, I was like crying. I was frustrated. I felt like my loom sucked. I needed a new script. I'm like, oh, I just— it was just like another little lump to go over, you know? And then once I got over that hump, I was like, okay, I'm good again. Like, this is fine. And then I sent out my loom. And I was very fortunate, like on the job board, I had applied to the job that I'm in now and they had just posted the application like 40 minutes prior. So I'm like, I'm sending this. And then he immediately messaged me. He's like, hey, I want a 3-minute Loom now. So I was able to send him that. And then he texted me. He was like, do you have time for an interview tomorrow? Absolutely. And he hired me on the spot the very next day. But yeah, the, the mindset thing is just really tricky because it's easy to compare yourself to others. It's easy to feel like you're behind when you're not. Like when I started the sales job, obviously since it was my new, like my first sales role, I didn't understand like if people didn't pick up the phone or if I didn't get sets that day, like I was just like, I'm terrible. They hate me. They're gonna fire me. I'm awful setter. And it's like, my manager was like, Destiny, like focus on what you can control, which is your input. You can't control who picks up the phone. If you do 200 dials and get no sets, one day but 200 and get 8 the next, like, that's fine, you know, as long as you're putting in your work. Like, I will never let you go or tell you that you're bad at what you do if no one's picking up the phone. Like, you can't control that, you know. And so it's the biggest thing, because I'll ramble on forever, is just mindset. Like, you have to be really intentional about fixing your focus and, you know, focusing on what you can control, which is the work you put in.
Totally. And I think we've had a few conversations too in the DMs where you've been struggling, or because it's not always linear, just to everyone watching. Like you've had an incredible journey, but you've had days where you've come to me like, Shelley, like, what do I do? Like, this is how I'm feeling. And I just think, and if you don't quit, you can't fail. You've just got to pick yourself up every day. And it's all about your bounce back rate, isn't it? Like, one day just may be a complete write-off, but the next day will be better. And as long as you just have that mindset, then that's the best you can do.
Yeah. And I will tell you that those two sayings, like, you can't fail if you don't quit. Like, I would have to tell myself that over and over again. Like, Destiny, no, like, fix your focus. Like, you're— think about where you were when you first joined.
Yeah.
You know, and when I was doing the looms, I'm like, Destiny, think about where you were two weeks ago. After the loom, like, Destiny, think about where you were a week ago. And it's just like so much growth so quickly. I was just like reminding myself of that. I'm like, you've already come so far.
100%.
Just keep going.
Yeah, and I think a lot of people want it so easy because they see the messages on social media, and I try my absolute hardest to deliver the most honest messages you can to show like what is possible and what you have to do. Because I always say the biggest saying that's going around at the moment in the community is you can't have a 10K outcome with a 1K effort and a 1K strategy. You have to have a 10K strategy, a 10K effort, which equals a 10K outcome. And obviously you are a testament to that. So I'd love to know, like, what does it take? What's a day in the life, an average day in the life for you?
Um, an average day in the life for me as a setter is, uh, my mindset morning FaceTime with my other— the other setter. Like, we have to have those. We always have to connect and just be like, you ready for another day? I'm like, let's do this. Um, and yeah, I would just say like, you know, not everybody is the same. So like some people maybe do like a mindfulness yoga. For me, it's prayer. You know, I like to really center myself and let go of things that I can't control. Uh, just really get my mindset and frame. Um, it's important to connect with your team because for me, like when I first started, it was easy for me to compare myself to my coworker or even feel even feel envious at her success, which was really something I struggled with. And I was really trying to center myself, and because I don't want to be like that, you know, that's not a good place to be. Um, and so I'm glad that we were able to connect on a different level and to visit each other in person and, and be friends, so that way I can, um, you know, put those things aside and realize like, no, I'm joyful of her success. I'm happy for her. She deserves this. And just have that different mindset because I keep saying mindset, but like I need a, like one of those like thingies, those like, I forgot what they're called, but like mindset. Because it's so important. Like day in the life for me is just getting my mind in order, doing opt-ins in the morning, catching up with Zero to Seven, doing DMs, meetings if we need it, checking in with my team. And then really it's, it's kind of simple, my day in the life. It's like not really that difficult. It's like, it's not that hard. It's like I can sit outside in the sun if I want, I can take a break whenever I want. I don't have to tell anyone when I'm taking a break. Like as long as my work is done for the day and I've put in the input, like no one's, you know, up the wazoo trying to sniff what I'm doing when I'm on, when I'm off. So. It's like, it's very, we all trust each other is in that sense. It's like the manager trusts us to do the work and cause he sees the results. He knows that we're hard workers. And so, you know, yeah, I'm always doing what I need to do, but my day in the life is like very nice and simple. It's like not crazy. You only have to work really hard to get there. And then once you're there, obviously you have to work hard to maintain it. But I feel like just cause I'm in the groove, it's just like a regular day for me now, you know.
I agree, I totally agree with that. I say that to the girls coming in, I'm like, just give it maybe like 4 to 6 months max of just like lock in and just make sacrifices. But after you've come over that hill, your first 0 to 10K slog hard, but after that it's pretty, it's pretty nice.
Yeah. I'm like, my script is like not even a script. It's just a framework. I'm honestly, I'm like low-key closing calls without closing them. If I had just an extra 10 minutes and then to get them to buy, I'd literally be closing. Some of my sales calls can be anywhere from like 8 to 30 minutes. Like sometimes they're long, they ask more questions and I'm happy to answer them because I know the program really, really well now. So yeah, I mean, I'm working towards being a closer. I spoke to my sales manager about that. He's open to it. And yeah, I mean, it's been pretty great. I can really connect with the women. I know what they're going through already because it's very common with all the other women who speak to. So it's just like really great. Like there's some conversations I'm like, oh, this made my whole day. Like, I feel so good. Like I'm flying. Yeah, I love that.
What do people around you think? Your mom, your partner?
Well, my husband for sure is like, let's go. Like we celebrate together. Like whenever I'm like, babe, look, this is how much I've made this week. Or look at how much commission I've got. 3 closes today. He's like, we're both dancing. You know, we're just like having a good time. Um, I don't really share anything else, uh, because I don't like anyone knowing my income, but, um, my mom does know I'm in sales and she knows I make, you know, good money. And then like with friends, like when I told them what I was doing, they're like, oh, Destiny's in a pyramid scheme. And I'm like, oh no. Yeah, they're one of those. And I'm like, whatever. So I don't like want to talk about anything because like you had mentioned, it's like sales has a nasty taste like in people's mouths, you know, they look at it and they're like, sales, ew, oh my gosh, you're scamming people. And it's like, no, I'm actually helping to change lives and it's very rewarding. And so it's true, people have like a weird mindset when it comes to sales, so they don't really understand. And I don't care to explain it because I'm making $10K and they're not. So yeah, preach that, honestly.
And that's that. It's as simple as that, right? I think, uh, I, to this day, like, obviously things have changed a little bit because now I coach, but before I just wouldn't tell anyone. Like, I have my two best friends and I have my family, and I just didn't bother even telling anyone. Even to this day, sometimes when people say, what do you do? I'm like, um, education. I'm like, don't even get into it. Because yeah, people do think that you're scammy, that you're pushy, aggressive. We've all had a bad experience with a sales rep, which is such a shame. But I do think the industry will shift because you either sell or be sold. Like, you know, that's really how it is. And there's, and there's another way to actually help and support people, and I think it will change. But now it's just one of those things, I think.
Yeah, so I don't share too much, but at least for me and my husband, we are definitely always celebrating and are very thankful. I love that.
If someone told you that you would be here now, $10K a month case study, because I know a lot of girls really want to do these case studies, which I get it, so, so would I, like, would you have believed it?
Um, no, I, I didn't think that something would be possible, like, to make this much money from home. And I would like to say, for the most part, leisurely. I wouldn't think that it was possible, but truly, like, you have to get a plaque of this saying, if you want it, you've got to do something you've never done. You know, if you, you like, you just have to. And so I believed in that because one, I've seen your testimonial and even if like other girls weren't putting in the work, you put in the work and you were successful. And I knew that I could do it too. And then your contract as well, like If I didn't find a job and I put in all the work, you would continue to help me until I did. Great. That's all I need to hear. So it's like I knew that regardless, my investment was going to be worth it. 'Cause even if I put all my blood, sweat, and tears and I still wasn't there, I would still get the help. You weren't gonna throw me to the side. And so I knew that it was something I had to do 'cause it was either that or nothing. I was like, Destiny, what else are you gonna do for work? I think so, you know, and I'm glad, I'm glad I live upstate. So it's like I don't have to drive 30, 40 minutes, an hour to work. I don't have to do that. I just take a couple of steps to my office and then I'm at work. 100%.
So you didn't think you would get here, but you had the drive, or did you think deep down you would do it?
I know I knew deep down that I could do it. Like, I seen the testimonials. And your first testimonial that you had posted, like when you're as a nanny and then you making like $10, $20, $30, um, I believed it. I believed it to be true. And then, you know, I knew that if you did it, I could do it because I have a great work ethic. I'm not lazy. I like work really hard and I hold myself accountable. If I do something wrong, I switch it instantly. I want to grow and change every day. And so yeah, I believed it, but it was like, Of course it's like, all right, let's really see. Like, you gotta almost like see it to believe it kind of thing. Um, you know, but like, I don't want to say like, oh, I didn't believe in myself and that I would never get here. Like, obviously I wouldn't have invested myself if I had that mindset. But yeah, it was like, is this really gonna happen? Is this really possible? And then it's like, oh crap, like my friend made $13,000 one month as a setter. And it was just like, dang, this is really possible.
Yeah, it's insane, right? What are your goals from here?
My goal from here is definitely to excel and become a closer on the team. I have closers making $20K a month, um, so definitely want to hit that and just be able to grow. Like, I don't want to feel like I'm just like stagnant and staying in the same position, um, so I definitely want to try and remain a setter on this team for like another 6 months, really to um, just learn a little bit more. And because it is good money, like, I don't need to rush to being a closer. So it's like I could give myself a little bit more time. But obviously, yes, the end goal is to become a closer on this team. I don't want to try and look for something else. And yeah, I would say being a closer and having like that flexibility as well would be like my end goal.
Very exciting. And I guess my final question to wrap up, because this has been so insane and so much value. Like, if there's girls watching this, similar position to you, right, maybe a little bit nervous, a little bit like hesitant, what would be your advice to them?
My advice to the girls who really want to join high ticket sales but like are a little bit nervous or scared, it would really be like, think about where you want to go. You know, if you don't want to be in your 9 to 5, if you do want flexibility financially, you want to be able to travel and you want all of that, it's, it's worth the investment. It really, really is. And also like one, Shelley's here and I'm also still in the group. So like the WhatsApp group, like girls can always come to me as well and like ask different questions or maybe what helped for me. But also Shelley's great at responding. Like she's been very helpful. The women in the group have been insanely helpful. And yeah, all around it's felt like a very close, tight-knit family. And this investment was the best thing I've ever done.
I love it. Thank you so much, Destiny. Thank you so much for joining me here. This is going to be so valuable to so many other girls. I already know it, and I can't wait to support you to achieve even more goals.
Yeah. Thank you, Shelley, for everything, your program, everything you've done and what you pour into us. Um, you know, it must feel very rewarding to see.
It really does. I always say that because we had our first in-person event, which we will be coming to the US at some point, um, but we had our first one in London and the girls after was like, how did it feel? And I was kind of like, this is kind of surreal. Like, I just stood back to have all these women here that are all like so inspirational. It is insane. So it's definitely the best thing I ever did as I love it.
Well, thank you so much, Shelley. I appreciate your time and everything you put into me and then the program. And yeah, I'm always here, always here to help if I can too.
I love it. Thank you so much. And yeah, and girls, if you're watching this and, and you're interested in following in Destiny's footsteps, there'll be a link in the description box below. You can apply, possibly book a call, and we can chat further. But yeah, I'll see you in the next one.
Bye!
