Hi everyone. In this video I wanted to discuss how long does it actually take to see results in the high ticket sales space? I think there's so much information online. So I just wanted to share like a really real timeline, which was my timeline, right. And to take you through what it actually takes to be a complete beginner to make your first 10k month. Some people say it can take 30 days, other people say it can take a year, two years. So from my personal experience, and then some people that I see around me, I really wanted to take you through that because literally September last year, I was a complete beginner, right. I had absolutely no experience. So I think to go from that to the position I'm in now, there has to be a plan in place. You can't just wing it. Do you know what I mean? You can't just hope for the best. You have to actually put a solid plan in place. And I always say it's a marathon until it's a sprint. And I actually have a training on that because honestly, that's what it felt like for me. It was a marathon, it was a slog, day in, day out until it all just came at once. So let's get into it and I want to take you through my five month plan. Like what happened from day one to when I made my first 10k month. So if we're going all the way back to September 2023, middle of September, I think it was like the 18th. That is when I paid for my first ever sales training. I bought the training, I got started and I kind of remember saying I had that pitch in my stomach like, okay, we've actually got to do something about this now. So I pretty much got to work. I started going through the training, I started creating a plan. I started doing what I should have been doing essentially in October, mid October, no, early October. Sorry. I got my. Got offered my first sales job. So. So I think it took me about two weeks from joining my sales program to actually getting a job. So yeah, I got my job out of 150 applicants to be a Triager. And I was completely blown away. Like I could not believe what I had pulled off, what I was able to do by jumping on that interview and landing that job. So that was like the best day of my life, really. That changed everything for me and I'm so grateful for that opportunity because that is what allowed me to hit the ground running and to keep the momentum up. End of October, beginning of November, I received my first ever paycheck. It was for £900. I think I've posted this before but I'll try and leave like a bit of a timeline as I can on the screen. I will have to go back through bank statements from like last year. So like bear with me, I'll try and include what I can. But yeah, I'll show you as much as I can. So yeah, I, I got my first paycheck which was surreal. Like Internet money never feels real. I still feel like that now. It's crazy, it's a crazy concept. Of course it is real and you work super hard for it. But your first ever Internet money, whether it's £1,000, whether it's £20, it doesn't matter. Seeing that kind of come into fruition and in real life is like there's no other feeling like it in my opinion. Then we're going through to December. So we've worked October, we've worked November and we've worked December. In December I made enough money in sales as a setter to replace my part time job. So as I said, I haven't gone back through bank statements but I did find a notes app on my phone where I used to record all my earnings. And in that notes app for December I recorded that I earned £2,349.34. I have notes down here by the way, hence why I'm looking. But yeah, that is what I earned. That was enough to replace my part time job. So I did just that and I quit my part time job and, and that was hard. It sounds like you can super romanticize quitting your job and working for yourself and all these things but it's super scary because I was leaving behind stability, I was leading behind a stable like paycheck and I knew I was never going to get fired from that. I knew what I was getting, what I had to do on a daily basis. So for me to then quit that for an opportunity in sales which wasn't stable, wasn't secure. I didn't know what I was getting. My income could be 01 month, 2k the next month, who knew? Do you know what I mean? Was super hard. But I knew I had to do it and I'd be stupid if I didn't do it. So that's what I did. I quit my job. So from when I started to, when I quit my job was like three months. So pretty quick. Then we go through to January. This is when I started to get my promotion up to closing. So I was doing setting where I was earning. I went from 4% to 5% commission on all deal closed. So let's say if it's a 3,000 pound deal, I'd make 5% commission on that. Just for context. Yeah. So I started transitioning to closing where I'd make 10, 10% commission on all deals closed. And I think I made like 4k that month or 4 and a half k that month cut to February the next month. That was my first 10k month, which was mind blowing to have achieved that. And I remember like I couldn't believe it. I almost didn't feel anything because I was just working. And you don't really stop and smell the roses. Well, I don't. Anyway, I'm definitely working on that and I've definitely over the past few months got much better at just like stopping, being grateful, taking it all in. Because if you're just in this like work mode all the time, what's the point? You can have all this money or whatever, but you can't enjoy it. You know, you can't. It doesn't make you happy. So that's what I'm trying to work on. But back then there wasn't the mindset. It was just work, work, work and keep on working, which some could say it's toxic. I would encourage for you to do that. If you're a complete beginner. There's no, really, there's no time to stop and celebrate. Yeah, you can make one 10k month but you want to do that consistently. So if you, in my opinion, if you are to take that 10k month and then like splurge it and you're back to ground zero. You're back to ground zero. So yeah, I kept on focused, I like kept on pushing forward. But I hit my first 10k month in Feb. So that was 5 months from the day that I started to making my first 10k month. Now for some people, especially as a beginner, I know for myself that would seem crazy, like impossible. And I get it because I never believe that I would hit that. Like I really wanted it but. And I knew I would do whatever it took. But the reality of seeing that money in my account, I kind of didn't ever believe that was going to happen. So I get it. If you're sitting here watching this, if you're brand new to the space or if you've just started and you're thinking there's no way I can do that, I get it. But you can. The thing that I think I realize now, looking back in hindsight, because hindsight is a wonderful thing, is that you need a plan. Like, you can't expect to make that and achieve that and follow that sort of timeline if you're just winging it. I'm sure some people have, and there's always the exception, you know, over the rule. But in reality, you need, like, a solid plan. You need to learn from someone who's been there and done that to cut the corners, to get to that goal, which is pretty much gonna completely expedite that process. And when I was trying to think of, like, tips that I could provide for you to take away to actually make this your reality, I was kind of reflecting on myself, my journey, and then what I see from other people's journey around me. Right. And I think the hardest part of doing this journey and where I see the most people fall, the time between buying the sales training and landing the job. For some people, it can take a couple weeks. For some people, it can take a couple months. And that part is so hard because you are putting inputs in every single day and getting no reward. It is complete delayed gratification. Right? And that's hard. And if you're a beginner and you don't believe that you can make that type of money, because why would you? It's not a proven concept. You've never done anything like it before. You are literally just going in blind, trusting yourself and trusting your mentor to help you with this process. It is so easy to just not show up because no one's going to make you show up. It's so easy to just put. Put it off, kick the can down the road and think, I'll do it another time, or this is too difficult, this isn't what I saw online. I'm going to quit. But trust me, when I say, when you feel that way, that is when you need to push harder. And whether you believe in, like, the universe, God, whatever it is for you, you need to understand that when you are ready to receive that next level, it will be in the most challenging time. I always know, and it can sound a bit silly, but I always, when I'm in, like, the most challenging phases of my life, when it's really tough, when I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders and I'm so stressed and nothing's going my way, I kind of like it because I know that I'm about to get something that I wanted. I know I'm about to have that breakthrough. And I know that because every single time, without fail, that's what happens. You can't just expect to have everything on a silver platter. You've got to go through the hardships, you've got to go through the challenges. And for some people it will take them two months and then they'll get there. And for others it could take them five months and then they'll get there. If you just stay completely laser focus on you, your inputs daily, what it is that you need to do, trust me, you will get there. And I say that because I've done it myself and I've seen so many other people around me do the same thing. The second thing that I wanted to say that I see quite regularly from people who are not achieving their results in the timeline that they want to achieve it is they're focusing inputs in the wrong areas. And that's tough because when you're a complete beginner or, you know, you've been in the space not very long and you're unsure, you just want to do whatever it takes. You're just trying to throw all these problems, all these solutions at the problem and just hope one of them sticks. And I do agree with that to an extent, because it's better doing that than nothing at all. But what I would say is be very mindful of the inputs you're doing. Are they in line with the outcome that you want? Are they genuinely going to move the needle forward? What I would personally say, from my experience and from what I've seen quite often, is you need to be ready. And I probably sound like a broken record, but if you're a complete beginner and you're doing all these inputs, but if someone called you in five minutes and said you need to be on an interview and you need to be ready and you need to start and you get the job and you need to start tomorrow and you need to know what you're doing, are you ready? And if you're not, that's a problem. If you're not ready to jump on an interview and ace it and to start a job and relatively hit the ground running, because I appreciate you're going to be new, so there's going to be new processes to learn. But have confidence in your ability, you need to focus on that. Because this industry moves so fast. And a lot of the time, for myself, for my own experience, with offers I've been on and from people that I know, that's how it works. Interviews happen same day, pretty much, you start next day or within a few days after that, and things move quick. And if you can't match that pace, you're not going to make it and they'll just choose someone else instead. So that is definitely something that I would focus on. If I'm like a complete beginner. If I was starting out again, that's what I would do, because that's what I did do. I got my interview same day, started the job next day and just went for it. So, yeah, I hope that has been helpful. And as I said, I'll try and put a timeline on the screen if I can, but all it takes, guys, is like five or six months from when you start to actually achieve the income you want to achieve. But you have to have a plan. And of course you can do this independently and I would never tell anyone they can't. But if you want to achieve results like that, then you need to learn from someone who's been there and done it. So find that person. Find the person you trust, find the person that you relate to and get them to build your plan. It's so important.
