Hi guys. Welcome back to my channel. It's another super exciting day. Today we are joined by Maria.
Say hi, Maria. Hello.
So I started working with Maria on the 4th of April, so around four months ago now. I still remember her first call. I know she was a little bit nervous, but I remember distinctly remember actually feeling the fire she had to succeed. And at the time, I remember in our sales call, she was worried that English being her second language may hold her back on this journey. But she trusted me. She trusted in the female sales accelerator and took the leap anyway. She's also studying in high school still currently, which is crazy. Studying high school with a lot on her plate. But she has always been super determined to make it work and has always gone above and beyond to make sure she succeeds. So like with all my students, we created a plan, a personalized roadmap and we got to work. There was a short pause in Maria's journey when she focused on her exams because she is only 18, which as I said, kind of blows my mind. But she came back ready to go, motivated as ever. And here we are. And in her first ever month, on her first offer, she made €5,000, which is 4x the average teacher's salary in Maria's country, which is pretty insane. I know her story will definitely resonate with a lot of girls watching this who want more than their country has to offer and is also worried about that language barrier does have some kind of fear or insecurity around that. I know Maria will absolutely serve as an inspiration just to show you what is possible. When you work very, very hard, you take a bet on yourself and you don't listen to anyone's outside opinions or perspectives because that is exactly what Maria did. And here we are today. So let's dive straight in. This is another documented case study for Maria. And yeah, I'd love to know if you could take us back, Maria, to the very beginning. Like, what was it for you that made you take the leap and want to get into sales?
Yeah, so actually it was very unexpected. So my journey began when I actually just was watching reels on my Instagram page or on TikTok and the videos that would came up all the time would be like something related to making money online or just trying to make some at least additional income that I could have on the side. But of course there was a lot of, a lot of topics like stock trading or like of course, creating your own business like drop shipping, e commerce, all of those things. And at the moment I was also reading a Book called Rich dad, Poor Dad. And it really, it really actually inspired me because the author, he was talking about some things that a successful person should know, should learn in his life. And one of those things was sales. And at the same moment I was seeing those videos about high ticket sales and how people make money online. I was kind of curious, how does this whole thing work? And I remember I, I searched it up on YouTube, high ticketsales and your video, Shelly, came up. It was one of the videos that I watched. And I was, honestly, I was so, like, I felt, I felt that genuine energy that I don't know if it's the, if you're a woman, because this industry is male dominated. So a lot of videos were from men. Of course there were some from women. But when I saw your video, I remember, like, I, I did not even watch all of your other videos. I just booked the call because I felt the energy. Like, I felt so excited and wow, I was so, I was so impressed, of course by your results. And that's what made me kind of get into sales because of course I was looking to make some, make some money. But yeah, I remember I booked the call. Then we, we of course talked. I was so nervous. I remember I came back from school, I was, I had to take like a half an hour break. Just breathe. Because I've never done something like this. No. Going on a zoom meeting with a person I've never talked to in my life. And it just, it felt a bit weird to me, honestly, because like I said, it was something that I've never done. But I remember immediately I knew that this is something that I need to do. I just felt like I could do it. I know that it would be. It's not like overnight success. I knew that, but I just really wanted to try it. And of course I'm still in school, so like, there's nothing I can lose even if I wasn't in school. Like, I just really. The idea of working like a 9 to 5, like going to school, then going to college, university, I don't know, studying for a degree and then working all your life really scares me. Like, really, really scares me. Like, I don't want to do it. I want to travel a lot and just be financially independent. Like that was, that was the drive for me. And I knew that I would do anything, like I would try anything. And I still have that mindset that I'm always looking for new opportunities. Of course I'm. Right now I'm focusing on sales, but there's a lot in my mind that I really just, I'm striving to be, to achieve my goals because like this is something that I never had like growing up, I mean that's okay, but I just want my, myself and my family to also experience those things. So this was the main drive for me just to really be financially independent and like just. I know that it sounds materialistic, but just buying your own things and you know, like I bought, I bought my phone, my laptop from my own money that at the moment I was working as a math tutor as well. And on week weekends I was working at a bar as a bartender. So I was just really saving up the money to, first of all for college, second of all, just to afford myself things so I don't have to ask my, my mom for some pocket money just to go buy a coffee or like, I'm not talking about buying a brand new MacBook or my phone, you know, anything like that. Just to have some, some money that I can spend myself. And I was always looking, like, I was always looking for something that would bring me income, of course. And yeah, like I said, I, then I came, came across high ticket sales when, when I saw those numbers, like people in my country, my, like, like they don't make like money. Like this is so crazy. Especially Shelly, when I saw your numbers, like I remember it was like 30,000 per month that you made as a closer. I was thinking, oh my God, that's, that, that's insane. Because people, people in my country, they don't make that kind of money in a year. Like that's, that's like two years of just working a nine to five with two, three, four weeks off.
And where do you think you got your mindset from? Because like you said, obviously being from Lithuania and, and being around people who, who that kind of salaries for a two year, you know, a two year salary. And you decided to come in and take the leap and go completely against the norm. Where do you think that came from?
Well, first of all, I really like taking risks and I'm not afraid to take them. So that's like one of the traits that I do like about myself is that I don't have the feeling of being scared, you know, to try something new. Like that's, that's something that I have in me, I think because when I finish high school, I do want to move out as soon as I can, like out of this country. I want to go somewhere in Europe, I don't know, but I just want to travel and maybe sometime Sometime come back here. I don't know. But I really just like trying new things and taking the risks. And of course, like I said, I really wanted to make my own money, to be financially independent as soon as I can. So that's what really, like, made me so had the mindset of, you know, just. Just trying something new that would help me achieve, you know, my goals.
100. To have that freedom and to have kind of, like you said, your own money to do, to make your own choices kind of thing.
Yeah, I love that.
And I'd love to know, like, talk a little bit about, like, limiting beliefs, because obviously there's a lot of limiting beliefs people have coming into sales and kind of different misconceptions. Obviously, a big thing that we discussed on our sales call was the language barrier of English not being your first language. So talk to me about how you felt coming into this and your concerns and I guess limiting beliefs now around your English and your strength in. And kind of, you know, speaking that full time in a. In a job.
Yeah. So English was one of the biggest things that I was concerned of. It's actually my third language because Russian is my second. Yeah. So I. I'm still fighting with that accent that I have from the Russian language. But I was going into this thinking that it would just be a way for me to practice English because, like, everything is in English, you know, in the world right now. So I was really going into this. But, you know, even if I don't succeed, like, even if I don't make money, like, what's the worst that could happen, you know, I will be. I will be better with better English skills. I'll have some sales skills that of course, will be. I could use in the future as well. Oh, that's also. Also like, one of the things that made me go into sales because in the future, like, I would like to have my own business and I would like to be in that space. Right. And I was thinking, like, how can you have a business and sell something, like, sell your product or your service if you don't know how to sell? So that was like, also one of the biggest reasons why I chose to go into high ticket sales. Because I was thinking, okay, if English will be one of the. One of the things that will stop me from making money right now at the moment, like working on an offer or something like that, you know, I was thinking, okay, I will be just like, I've got nothing to lose because my English will be better because, of course, I'll have to Practice, do the role plays and attend trainings and I'll be just with sales skills that I've never had before. So that could help me in the future.
Totally. And I think something that you may not even recognize, but I think something that's very powerful from what you've just said is how everything you just said there was positive. Like, even you said, well, the worst thing that can happen is I'm going to learn the skill of sales and my English is going to improve. A lot of people these days, I found, have very negative outlooks, like, well, what if I fail? What if this, what if I lose money? What if xyz? And sure, they're all feeling feelings that I'm sure you had too deep down, but at the end of the day, in order to propel you forward and, and to, to get you to where you are now, you use that positive mindset of, well, those things could happen. But really, worst case is that I, I'm better than I was before, that I'm more educated, better skilled than I was before, which I think is very unique. Did you have you recognized that about yourself? That you always look on the, I guess the positive side of life or.
I don't know, I listened to a lot of podcasts about self growth and all of that, so maybe that affected. But honestly, no, I did not notice that until you said it. But yeah, I mean, I always try to be as positive as I can because, like, if we're being negative, then you know what's gonna get you very far?
Sorry, it's not gonna get you very far being negative.
Exactly. And I was also, when I enrolled into the program, I remember I did not have the money, like, I had like the half of, of the money that I had to pay. And I was going into this, like, thinking, okay, so again, what's the worst that I could happen? I'll just work more with my math classes and work more with on the weekends, but at least I'll have tried something, you know, and just not regret it in the future. That, oh, you know, maybe, maybe I should have tried that or that, you know, maybe that would, that maybe that would have gotten me somewhere totally.
And you saying that has brought that back to me because I, I remember that right. You didn't have the money. And I think even I on the sales calls was like, are you sure you want to do this? Like, are you sure you want to take the step? Even I was questioning, like, you don't have to. There's no pressure. And you are very Much like, no, no, I'm doing this. Like, we're making this happen. This is going to happen. And I, I think even that moment, most people would be like, oh, maybe I shouldn't. But you were like, what can I do to make sure I succeed? Which is crazy to think about. You look back on it and I guess, go on. Sorry.
Yeah, but I'm so happy that I'm. I did not, like, I did take the step, you know, I had to, I had to lend some money, actually, from my friends. Of course I paid them back. But I remember thinking, okay, like, money will come and go, but the skill set, the knowledge, you know, the faster and sooner that I acquire those skills, the, the better it will be for me. So.
And I'm guessing mentorship. This was the first time we'd ever invest in mentorship.
Oh, yeah. Like, this is the first time that I've ever spoken to a person online. Like, not including them, the math lessons that I was doing with my students. But yeah, that was so I, I remember thinking, oh my God, this is so weird. Is Shelly real? Like, because of course there's a lot of scams under the Internet. And of course, no, maybe I did not think that if you were real or not, but I was still having that a little bit. Like 1% of me was being like, is this a scam or not? You know? Yeah.
100. Very valid. It's very valid. If you've never done anything like this before, if your family and friends have never done anything like this before, you only know your car, your perspective. Right. And the people around you. And I guess with that in mind, obviously we know that you found me through YouTube, but what made you want to reach out and invest in mentorship? Because that's quite a bold move. You're still in high school, you know, you're working part time jobs, you're studying. So what made you want to reach out for support?
Yeah, like I said, I mean, I listened to your story, how you achieved those results so fast, and I was just really, really impressed. And I was thinking, oh my God, if, if I could have the chance, the opportunity to also make that kind of money. Like, I'm talking a lot about the money, but it's, it was really like, it's important for me. Of course, I don't remember Shelley, but when we, when we are on the Zoom meeting, I was telling you how I would like to help my mom, because of course she's a single mother. I live my. With my younger brother. Yeah, really? I started working in the 10th grade with the math classes, just so I wouldn't have to ask her for money. No. So it would be just easier for us and me thinking, oh my God, if I could make like 10k plus per month, like, wow, we can move out of here, you know, all of us. And of course I want to try move out to another country when I finish high school. So I would love to take them with me, you know, to also see. See the world, like change and change their. What's the word?
Change their perspective, Change the outlook.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Just change. Change their lives a little bit. Because first we're living here all, all of our life and the. That's the kind of goal that I really had. And I was thinking, oh my God, with that kind of money, like, anything would be possible for me. You know, also at that, at that young of age, I was, of course, I'm. I didn't think that I would make a lot just to start, but I was thinking, oh my God, if I remember telling you, Shelly, like, the goal for me was like, if I could make like one key per month, like, would be good, you know, because I was working last summer in a cafe and I made the biggest salary that I had was like 900 to €1,000 somewhere along around that. And I worked, I remember, 200 hours.
Wow.
Yeah, it was also June, actually. So literally a year ago, I received a salary of somewhere close to a thousand euros. And I mean, that was good for me, but I was working a lot. Like, I was all the. During all the summer I was in the cafe, you know. So when summer finished, like, I was thinking, oh my God. But all I did was work, you know. And again, I don't want that kind of life for me, you know, I want something more. Yeah. Something more relaxed where I could, for example, travel and work. So that's also like one of the, one of the things that attracted me. The remote work and just not being on your. On your feet all day. And of course not the nine to five. And I was thinking, oh, okay, so if I could make like a thousand euros dollars, I don't know, in a month with this, like, I would be good, you know, because I was again a bit skeptical also about online money and like, is this really real, like, do.
Would I really, really make that kind of money kind of thing?
Especially with. Of course I was a bit concerned about my English language, thinking, okay, maybe the Americans or, I don't know, other people would be also, like getting, getting on a call, for example, with Me and thinking, okay, so what's she talking about? Yeah, like kind of a barrier for me.
And I guess with that in mind, how did you feel coming into the program? So like you've just invested all your money into a program you're coming in, there's these modules, there's the community. Like how did that feel for you? Going stepping into something so different, something you'd never, you'd never experienced.
It was a bit weird actually because like I remember I joined the, the groups, all of the groups and of course I introduced myself and it was like such an interesting experience because like, like I've never seen, never experienced such things. And I tried slowly, but I began connecting with all of the women the, in our program. And that was also really interesting because like just talking with other women, women who are in the program and just sharing our experiences and how, how far are we in the journey? Like that was really like really nice and really awesome because again, so weird for me because you know, talking on people, talking with people on the Internet, like that's how, how our parents would say, you know, don't do that, you know. Yeah, because there's a lot of bad people on their Internet like that. But, but yeah, but overall I remember I was a bit overwhelmed with school also at that time. So I, I stepped into the whole like sales accelerator group like really slowly. Like I was, I was spending like 20, like half an hour maybe every day, just a little bit. But consistently, yeah, I was just really overwhelmed with school at that time. And I, I wanted to get done with that at first. But I was also one thing that my friends or my mom told me, like, wait till summer. No, but wait till you finish school and then start something like this. But I was thinking like, no, no, no, no, no, look, look, I can spend like at least half an hour on this. And I knew that if I do that every day consistently, it's still better than starting at summer because I would be of course ahead.
And I think like I said before, it's such a rare mindset because I speak to people all the time who feel they have to wait for the perfect moment until they have the perfect time or they're working a full time job and they don't, they feel they have to just quit to do sales, but it's not the case. And obviously you, you're, you've proven that. It's like as long as you're consistent, if you show up and if you can do 30 minutes a day, but you're consistent with it. That will compound clearly as it has. That will kind of grow and grow and grow and subtly your skill will grow. And I've always noticed that about you, whether it's networking, you've always made an effort, even if you're super busy, to like post in the community or you know, give people words of encouragement or learning the lessons in the classroom. Like you're always doing something, even if it's one thing and something small. So. Yeah, I, I definitely agree. So for you, would you say that has been your biggest kind of learning, is just doing something every day, even if it's small or.
Oh yeah. I mean I remember during school breaks or sometimes even during lessons, I would just be texting with people on Facebook or Instagram, just trying to build my network and of course posting in my social media. That made a huge difference. Like I would never, I would never, I would have never thought about that. Social media makes such a huge difference in this whole space. And yeah, I mean sometimes I would watch like one or two videos, no, maybe a bit more, but from the course as well, just getting my knowledge up. And sometimes I would do like one or two role plays in a week. But I was trying to do at least something because like that's, that's kind of the pathway that I had in my mind that. Okay, so it's like the beginning, the. It was like mid of spring, so I thought, okay, I have some time before summer, so I'll try to learn as much as I can. So when summer comes, I'll be done, I'll be shortly done with my exams and then, then I can begin working. Yeah, the goal that I had was to start working during summer before school starts again. So I really get used to everything and just I'm ready for when school comes to manage my time, of course, with classes and this 100%.
And I think that's the beauty of the program length as well. Because if this program was a solid set, 90 days where you had to come in and you know, you only had access to everything, which most are, which is a different conversation, but you wouldn't have had that luxury. But because you've had the time and you've had the support, like, I'd love to know how you felt with that. Obviously just having that direct access to me whenever you need, which would allow you to take breaks. Like, how has that been for you?
Oh yeah, that was so helpful, like being able to reach out to you on, on school, like whenever I needed help, like that was such a huge help for me. I think I could have and should have asked you more questions, to be honest. Like, but still, like, I'm so basically just. I wouldn't be here without you.
Thank you. I appreciate that. And I think it's a partnership, I always say, right? It's like running it together. It is a team. Like when you text me telling me your results, I was like celebrating like it was my result. Result. Because that is what this community is about. So I love that you feel that way. So I guess coming to now then, what, where you're doing now and kind of the work you're doing. What does it take to earn €5,000 in a month? Like, what's a day in the life for you?
Okay, so first of all, of course I wake up. I work us hours at the moment. So it was a bit of a challenge to kind of get used to that, like working late hours. But usually my day looks like I wake up, I have just my morning routine, you know, shower, do my skincare. And I always try to do something more active. So I either meet with my friends or go on a walk or work out. Just move my body so I'm not sitting all the time. And yeah, then I spent like a couple of hours just learning either if it's sales or. Right now I'm preparing for this English exam that I would need to, to get into university. But yeah, or I'm just reading because of course there's a lot of books that I need to read for school. That's. That's another topic. But yeah, that's what I do before, before working. And then I, at like about 3pm my time, I. I start working. And yeah, that's basically it. I finish around, around 12am Sometimes it's a bit earlier, like 11 or 10. Sometimes it's a bit more like 1 1am or 2am but it really depends on how I, how I manage my time. Because of course in between I have to walk my dog, I have to eat, of course. And sometimes things come up. So it really differs. But yes, it's something like this at the moment.
By the sounds of it, would you say it's pretty flexible in the sense that you can have your very feminine, peaceful mornings and you have time to do what you want to do and you start work. Don't get me wrong, the work is hard, but you have that flexibility in, in your schedule if you do, like you said, need to walk your dog or if you want to just do straight work. Like, how do you find that kind of lifestyle? Because I Bet you didn't think that you could have that kind of lifestyle, earning the money that you're earning.
Yeah, I mean this is also like one of the best parts because I start at 3pm so that's like 8am Eastern time. But of course I could start at like 4pm or 5pm and then, then just work a bit longer in the evening. So sometimes for example, if I'm out or I'm doing something or I have some plans, I can just. It really depends on me. I just need to get the hours done, I need to hit the KPIs and that's all. But yeah, that's awesome, you know, being, being in charge of my own schedule. And for example, if I need to take a break between the calls, I can do that. For example, if when I was working in a cafe, sometimes I would work like up to 10, sometimes 12 hours with like a one break. I remember one day it was like even no breaks on a 12 hour shift and I was on my feet all day and that was, that was not good for me. And the break is like 10 minutes also. So of course, yeah, of course. You shouldn't take with this too many breaks as well. Sure. But yeah, yeah, it's good. You know, if you need to take a breath, you can just go outside, take a walk if you need to just refresh your mind and you know, get back to work.
So that's also if someone's new here, like brand new to the space, watching this and they're wondering, but what is it you're doing? Like when you're at work, when you're hitting your KPIs, what is your job? Like what do you have today?
I work as an appointment setter at the moment, so I just have a list of people that I'm calling and I just have these conversations with them, you know, figure out where they're at, like what got them interested in doing the business and where they're at, what's, what's their goals, like you know, building the gap and all of those things and you know, then pitching the, the call with the closer. So that's what I do. And I mean I like what I do because actually I get to talk to these really interesting people sometimes. The calls usually they should take for us about like 20, 25 minutes. But my calls usually take like 30, sometimes 40 minutes because I'm just really curious about, you know, speaking with the people and what they're doing in their lives. It's, it's really interesting sometimes of course Sometimes the people are mean, rude, they don't want to talk with you and all of those things. But yeah, I just have conversations, I book them into the calendar. And yeah, that's all pretty crazy, the.
Income you're making for just having conversations. Right. And what have been your biggest learnings, I guess from working as an appointment setter and working with me, would you say, over the past four months?
Well, the first, of course, the skill set of sales. Like I would, I would have never thought like how the sales process goes about the whole psychology behind this and like, wow, I know that I'm gonna use this sometime in my life as well. Like, I don't know if this is something that I want to do like all my life, but the skill set that I have is it's just priceless. So that's the first thing. Then the second thing is, of course I'm much more confident in my English because I remember even when I started like a bit more than a month ago, I listened to some calls, they were horrible. Like not even in the English aspect in the language, but also of course reading all the script and all of that. But I feel like I'm much more confident. And I was actually doing some calls yesterday and my friend was in the background and he was saying like, oh, you know, you sound like really good. Like it's much more fluent than it was before. And I was like, oh, thank you. You know, so I'm happy about that as well. So that's like the two biggest achievements for me. And of course, of course the money wise, like that, the income.
But yeah, so both, not only money because obviously money is a huge thing, you know, but also that personal confidence. You feel that personal self development.
Yeah, that's, that's, that's like the biggest thing. And I feel, but not right now. I feel awesome. Like I feel excited for my future. Like I can't wait for the future. 100.
And what do the people around you think of this journey?
Yeah, I mean, my family was a bit skeptical. Skeptical at first about. I mean, of course this is an online space, so we, we hear a lot of things about online space, about all the scams around there and blah, blah, blah. So that's, that's. Yeah, but I mean I received, I received the paychecks, received the money, so that's fine. Now my friends, I mean, I didn't tell a lot of people, of course, so you know, like they don't need to know, but they're supportive. So that's, that's really Nice. But of course, at the start, when I, when I began doing sales, like, I just told my mom because of course I'm living with her. And I just told one of my friends and they were both, like, my mom and my friend were really skeptical, but I was like, no, I'm still doing this. Like, I don't care about you guys. I'm sorry. But, like, I knew that this is something that I had to do, and it's just a matter of time, of when I could prove them wrong. And I did.
So I remember us discussing this as well in your sales call of, like, all people around, we don't agree, X, Y, Z. And I was like, you know, you have to do what you feel is best because it is our life. Like, it's your life. You have to live it. And I think that's a huge lesson for a lot of people watching because there's going to be a lot of people watching this whose family or friends or, you know, partner or whatnot isn't supportive. And it's very different if you're paying the mortgage and paying the bills with that person. And you've got to get their permission because it's going to change things. But when you're in your position and you're, you're young and you've got no responsibilities, really, and, and you've got that drive, you kind of have to just bet on yourself, don't you? You kind of have to just do it and everyone will come round to it in the end. Is that kind of how you felt?
Yeah. And I mean, it really, it really depends on you in the end. Like, I strongly feel that, you know, you are in charge of your own life, like, how it goes. So, you know, even if I was in school or, you know, I was like just a normal person working a normal job, paying their rent, like, having a partner living with them. Like, you know, if you, if you don't like what you're doing at the moment, then change it, you know, because I hate when people, when people. Of course, no, shame on anyone, but when people are not happy of where they are in, in their life, but they're doing nothing to change it, like, then don't complain, you know, hopefully either, either go with it or, or change it. But complaining is not gonna change anything. So, I mean, saying that, oh, I'm too old, or, like, I don't have time for this, you know, it really just, it's on you. If you want to see the results, you have to put in the work that's what I think. And yeah, like, just what you did.
100. What's the goal for you? What's the goal from here? What's the next milestone?
The next goal for me? Well, I have written out my goals, but in one year, I would like to be. No, not I would like to be. In one year, I'm hitting 10k consistently. That's the goal that I have. In terms of income, of course. Like, I want to move out, travel a lot, but in terms of sales and just the income. Yeah, okay. Yes, I'll be making 10k per month consistently.
I'll hold. You start. We'll be doing our second case study. 10k per month in a year. If before, it wouldn't surprise me. I love that. And you are more than capable. Absolutely. There is no doubt in my mind that you will make that work and you will be very consistent with that. So I'm super excited to see that. And I guess with that in mind, then, coming to the. The female sales accelerator now and joining the program. I'd love to get your feedback. Like, describe for you, you know, the program structure for someone who isn't inside, what have you, I guess what your favorite parts of the program are and how you feel it's benefited you along this journey.
The number one thing that helped me the most was the trainings on the interview prep. Like, those helped me so much. Like, even if I had to go for an interview right now, like a normal job, like, even in English, like, I would feel so confident because that I did like five interviews, maybe in total. I mean, the first one was horrible. I think I remember Shalaya told you about that one. Another girl was also interviewing for that offer. But that was so horrible. I remember talking to that, to that man, and he was like, he was just like looking at me, you know, like, what are you doing here? I just felt that energy from him. But of course I knew that, okay, this is the first interview. It's okay. It doesn't have to be perfect. But that's the one thing, because I was going through the trainings on interview prep again and again and again. And that really helped me just become really good at those interviews. And the last one that I had for the offer that I'm on, it was like, it went so smooth, and so I was so. I felt so confident. That's the most important part. And of course, I mean, all of the trainings, they were so helpful and mostly the community that being able to share your. Share your wins and just have general discussions, just if I have a questions like I always know that someone is going to answer, that someone is going to help me, you know, whether it's you or the other women in the, in the group. But yeah, that's, that's what mostly helped me.
Yeah, totally. And I guess compared to doing this independently, what would your perspective be if someone's thinking, well, I should just do this alone compared to what, you know now?
Oh no, if I were to do this alone, like, I don't know, maybe I, I would have reached where I am right now in like a year. I don't know, honestly. But it also helped me be accountable of my progress and you know, maybe, I don't know, maybe I would have stopped on my own because of course there's no one supporting you and you're all alone in this. So I assume it would be difficult for me if I, if I was to do this alone. And of course there's, there's a lot of information on, on like YouTube or just overall Internet, but everyone has their thing. Like everyone's secret is different. So I don't know, it really just helped me focus on the parts that I need to improve the most to get where I want to be and just made it a whole lot faster than probably would. Would have been for me if I did it on my own. Well, that's in my opinion. But I don't, honestly, I don't think I would have. Would be here if I, If I were to do this alone.
Yeah, I think it's just cutting out the fluff, isn't it? It's listening to one person's advice because there is so much advice online. It's like just tunnel visioning with one person's plan and like you said, which will allow you to move with a lot more speed.
Yeah, just following the, really following the steps that you took like that really just not being, just being focused on one thing and no, not ignoring all of the other things and just, you know, really helped me to be focused and just do the same thing that you did essentially.
Yeah. Following the same path as me. Absolutely. You very much have. I mean within. I did within three months. Obviously I did not have exams. You've had a lot more on your plate. We achieved the same goal. So if I did that in three months, the next three months is 10K. I'll see you in another three months.
I hope so.
Yeah, 100%. And I guess to finalize then to kind of wrap up because I think this interview has been so insightful. What would you Say, you know, if there's, there's going to be girls watching this who are sitting on the fence, who are also bilingual, you know, English may be their second, their third, their fourth language. They feel lacking confidence there. They don't know whether they should invest in menship. They don't know whether they should, you know, take that leap. What would you say to them, knowing what you know now?
Yeah, I would just say just, just do it. Because that's the, that's the best decision that I've made in my life so far. Like, honestly, like the best decision that I've made so far. And the language, just like I said, is the value that you are providing and not the words that you can pronounce or not pronounce or. Because, for example, during calls, like, I get stuck on worst all the time, like, I stutter, a lot of things happen and we just laugh it out with people. Like, I say, oh, it's, you know, sorry, English is not my first language. And, you know, if the person is the people that you will be talking to, they, you don't care if you're a native English speaker or, or you're someone who is just learning because it's the value that you are providing and not the perfect, clear, crystal clear, clear English. The next thing about, about spending money. So like I said, money comes and goes. So why not just try? Of course, if you want to make more money and try something new and you feel like this could be beneficial for you and you could do this, just, just do it. Because like I said, money comes and goes. The worst thing that could happen is you will have tried something new. You will acquire a new skill set of sales, which is just, I mean, overall communication with people. My communication, I think it has improved so well compared to where I was before. And now this is also one thing that I've, I've worked on because communication was not my strongest side. When I was entering sales. I remember when, when I was preparing for an interview and I had to talk about my strengths. And I know that communication should be one of your strengths when coming into sales. And I, I always did not mention that because I knew that I would kind of be lying to myself. And I know there's a saying like, fake it till you make it, but I mean, I just tried working on that and this, of course helped because you're forced to communicate with people all the time. So this really helped me improve my communication skills. And yeah, if I, if I was to do this again, I would 1000% do do everything again.
I'm glad. I love it. Well, it's an absolute pleasure working with you. As I've said countless times, you are a huge inspiration, probably more than you even know. And I know I can't wa to get this case study live because I know this is going to inspire so many girls from all over the world take this step just as you have. So thank you so much, Maria, for your time. It's been a pleasure talking to you. And yeah, if you're watching this and you're inspired by Maria's story and you are also interested in taking the leap, trying sales, learning a high income skill and changing your life, just as I've done, just as Maria's done, just as as countless other women in the female sales accelerator has done. There's going to be a link in the bio. You can fill it out. You can book a call with me on my team. We can chat further and see if we can help you on this journey. See you in the next one. Bye, guys.
