Welcome to Pillow Talks. We are Vanessa and Xander Marin.
Vanessa's a sex therapist and we are married. And we've been together since. I better get this right, 2007.
Got it. We help people stop feeling so embarrassed about sex and start having way more fun in the bedroom.
A lot of people on the Internet call us that sex couple, which is. I'm really glad that we can be that for them. And that's because of the honest discussions that we like to open up just about the modern challenges faced by modern couples.
So together we have the unique ability to make you laugh while giving you the courage to talk about sex and relationships in ways that you probably never have before. But now we have to be very honest about this here. We were not always experts in sex and relationships.
No, I kind of wish that we were, but no. We've been through a lot and that's really helped us. We've had our fair share of arguments, tough conversations, sexual dry spells, performance issues, and even orgasm struggles.
Oh, yeah, all the things.
Oh yeah, we are so far from perfect. But over the years, we have learned from all of those hardships. And I would like to say that we have created an extremely thriving and extraordinary sex life and relationship. And the good news is that we are now ready to pass all of that wisdom on to you all.
So what is the plan for this podcast? Well, we are going to be giving you all of the tools, tips and tricks that you need to create extraordinary relationship inside of the bedroom and out. We are also going to be sharing the real ups and downs of our own relationship while giving you step by step techniques for improving yours.
Guys, we've got some really big plans for this podcast. We are going to be answering all the sex and relationship questions that you've been dying to ask but you've been too embarrassed to. Things like, should great sex really just come naturally?
And what about all of those annoying recurring arguments? Can you actually solve them once and for all?
Is it possible to maintain attraction in a long term relationship? Especially if you know what your partner's farts smell like?
What about how honest is too honest? Should you tell your partner everything or.
Tell them what their farts smell like?
No, definitely don't do that.
Yeah, that's probably the only fart talk we're gonna have in this podcast. Maybe, maybe not.
You know what, we're definitely gonna talk about farts again.
And then. But yeah, finally, the question that everybody wants to know is how are you actually supposed to clean up after sex?
So make sure to follow along for your weekly dose of totally doable sex tips, practical relationship advice, hilarious and honest stories of what really goes on behind closed bedroom doors, and so much more.
And then, while you're at it, we would love it if you could rate and review the podcast too. We always love hearing what you think, and the reality is that your ratings and reviews help us get this podcast in front of so many more people.
And you can always check out our Instagram nessamarintherapy for daily stories with even more tips, techniques, and listener questions. And even some cute pictures of our.
Two little pugs, because who doesn't want that?
So come on over there after you're done listening and tell us what you think about the podcast.
Thanks for listening, and be sure to tune in to our first episode of Pillow Talks.
Sam.
