After 741 clients, this is what made $10K/m the fastest

William Brown analyzed 741 clients to find the fastest path to $10K/month: high-ticket consulting with a sales funnel of VSL, calendar booking, call, and close. The biggest mistakes are misidentifying bottlenecks, poor traffic testing, and underpricing. Scale beyond $10K by removing what's actually slowing you down, not what feels broken.

Hey guys, it's will. And after 741 clients now this is what actually makes people 10k per month, by far the fastest. So what I want to share with you in this video is firstly the best model to hit 10k per month as in the easiest way, then how to scale to 100k per month and this is by far the fastest way. Three key mistakes to avoid that. If you don't look out for these, they're going to stop you or they're going to break you. I've seen this many times and a few sneaky tactics to make sure that you actually keep the money that you make and you don't lose it. By the way, I've got about nine hours into this video. These videos take me a really long time. Please subscribe if you haven't already. I would really appreciate that. And that just pays me back for putting in the time and effort into these videos for you so that you can watch them for free.
Now. Why listen to me in the first place? Well, I've scaled a coaching business to 824k per month and 16.4 million in total over 5 years. I exited that business to a private equity firm in America last year. Then I scaled my new my current consulting business to 580k per month cash in just nine months. I grew an audience from literally zero. I had no Instagram, no YouTube at all to 100k people in just 22 months. That made me 8.2 million cash collected in the last 22 months. And in this business we've just passed 741 clients now as well. So I've done this for myself twice. I've sold one of those businesses and I've done it for hundreds of others as well. So I kind of know what I'm doing by this stage. So let's get into it. So the first thing that I want to cover is the best model to hit 10k per month and this is the easiest way, the shortest path and that is high ticket, high touch consulting. Why is that? Well, it's because that is the thing that you can charge the highest fee for and it's the thing that you can sell the fastest because you don't need a product, you don't need to build a product at all, which all in all means that you can get cash in the bank the fastest. It's also the best thing for the customer as well because in my experience now over almost eight years, many millions made. Nothing gets people as good results or as fast results as One on one consulting does. Now if you're thinking, yeah, but will, I don't want to have to get on Zoom, I don't want to sell my time, I don't want to have to talk to people, anything like that. And don't worry, I'm going to give you some alternatives in a sec. But again, I've been doing this for 8 years, I've made almost 40 million. And if you want to hit 10k per month in cash as fast as possible, high touch consulting is the best way to get there for most people.
So what are some alternatives? Well, let me, let me tell you. So a group or a community is an alternative, but this is the lowest value and you're going to be forced to sell it for the lowest price. An online course is another option and this is kind of middle value, middle price, depending on how long it is, how good it is, how deep it is, how well produced it is. Really the maximum that you can sell a course for is about $2,000 for just a course on its own. And if you're going to charge that, it's got to be like mine, like very, very deep based on years of hard work, amazingly well made, well produced, on and on and on and on. But that is an option. Group coaching is another option. And again it's kind of middle value, middle price. And finally consulting is by far the highest value and therefore you can charge the highest price.
Now which of those should you choose? The person watching this, probably a mix. Now just to give you an example, I've got three offers right now. A group offer which is a course and group coaching with me and my team. A one to one offer which is everything in group but Also with anytime one to one calls with me and my team and a WhatsApp group as well with us all in it. And a done for you offer which is all of that plus me and my team just do everything for you. Now that is the exact same offer, just different levels of proximity and speed. So in all of those three you get my training program. In all of those three you get some kind of access to my team.
But there's different levels of access. There's group access, one to one access done for you on top, vice versa.
Now you may be thinking as you're watching this, but will people won't pay high ticket for what I want to do, for what I want to teach, for my skills and talents. You are almost certainly wrong. And just to give you some proof and some ideas, I have either worked with people or I know people personally in all of these niches. Gardening is sold at high ticket. Barbering is sold at very high ticket. How to get 6 pack abs is 5k and 15k. Knitting is, I think it's still 1k for that client, but still I consider that pretty high ticket. $1,000. Communication, how to code, how to stop drinking, calligraphy, how to make YouTube videos, how to get dates with girls. Every one of those offers is minimum 2k and I think the highest on there is 15k for the how to get 6 pack abs in a one to one setting. Right. So there is not a niche I've ever known or heard of or been approached by someone that is in that can't be sold for high ticket. Okay. I have literally seen it all and yes, the right person, that's really important. The right person with the right problem will absolutely pay for your help as long as you can solve the problem for them. And the solution is worth more than the price that it costs for them to work with you.
Now if you were thinking well what should I charge or what can I charge? Well, I want you to see the pricing video here on my channel after this video. So if you haven't seen it yet, it's this video and you can watch that after you finish this one. And that is 45 minutes long. And it will break down every single thing that you would ever need to know about how to price based on value and how to find people that will pay high ticket, exactly what price that you should be charging and on and on. So you can watch that after you're finished with this video.
Now when you've settled on what you'll sell and at what price, then all you need to do from there is to choose a traffic source, either organic or paid, build a sales process, write a sales script and a pitch, design a pitch deck and voila. When you've done those things, you're ready to begin going out there and making sales. Now I would strongly, strongly, strongly recommend this sales process. VSL calendar. Thank you. Call.
Because of all the years that I've been doing this, all the people I've met, all the people I know, all the people I've worked with, things that we've tested as well. That is by far the best, the simplest funnel sales process to get leads and calls and sales do not have a community. And I'm not going to go into why in this video. I've talked about that before, just trust me, just bloody do not have a community and don't sell low ticket now, we're going to talk more about low ticket later in the video where I'll go a little bit deeper on when you should and when you shouldn't. But just take it from me, if you just want to get to 10k per month, like you do not need a community. You. You do not need low ticket. Just do what I've talked about and especially what you see here on screen and you will shoot past 10k if you just do those things in the right way. If you just do what I'm telling you here, I can almost guarantee you you will be making 10k a month and scaling to 100k a month, which we're going to cover next very, very soon. And remember, I've been doing this for eight years. I live and breathe this stuff. Every day of my goddamn life is dedicated to the stuff that we're talking about. So please just take my advice and you'll get there very fast. Now, to recap, before we move on to the next part of the video, again, step one is creating your offer and your deliverables and your price. Step two is then getting traffic and building a sales process. Step three is booking calls and closing calls. Step four is doing that at a high ticket price. And it really is that easy. Again, I've done this myself many times. I've done this for hundreds of other clients many times. Do that and you will get to 10k per month. And by the way, if you've got any questions right now, like what funnel? You know, how do I build a sales process? How do I get traffic? How you know, how do I choose a price? Well, again, you can watch the pricing video after this one and there are tons more videos here on the channel, all about this stuff that you can go and watch later as well. Now, next, let's talk about scaling to 100k per month. And it's really, really not as hard as people think. At this stage, you're going to be making around 10k to 40k a month. Ish. And obviously you're going to want to probably scale and make more. Now, one thing to be aware of is when you scale, you better believe I've learned this the hard way. When you scale, you get more of everything. You get more of the good, but you also get more of the bad. So only scale when your business is solid, functioning well, nice and profitable and stable. Now, when you're there, step one to scaling is viewing the bottlenecks. So if you're watching this video right now and you're making between 10 and 40k per month. Let me just ask you the question. What is your number one constraint in your business right now? Is it needing more sales call bookings? Is it your close rate? Is it your show up rate to your calls? Is it your cost per call or your cost per sale? Is it having an unstable team? Is it having refunds unhappy customers? What is stopping you from scaling? And you've got to address this first. And you should know the answer to that. If you don't know the answer to that, well, maybe we should work together to sort that out. But nonetheless, I'm going to presume that you do. And when you know the problem or the bottleneck or the constraint, you fix it and then prepare to scale. And scaling just means to do more of what you're doing. So for example, here's where my business is currently at and our plan to scale. So we've been stuck kind of by Choice at about 450 to about 600 per month, cash collected for about a year and a half. And that's because I didn't want to scale further until recently. And then a couple of months ago I had a conversation with someone, they convinced me to scale further and I agreed and I hired an operations director. We've built a cold ads part of our business and we're scaling and the only problem was more sales calls. So like I just said, we started running ads. The ads were extremely bloody profitable as they still are. So now we're going to slowly spend more. But we couldn't spend more because the three reps that we had, the calendars were full and we couldn't physically book any more calls. So we've hired two more sales reps now. So now we've got five full time reps. We're just about to start spending more literally next month and it's going to get us to a million a month. We're already very, very close. And if we add on two more sales reps with two full calendars, it's, it's mathematically impossible for us to not get to a million a month essentially as long as we can book the calls. The calls show up, they get taken and closed at the current close rate with the current ltv, it's like mathematically not possible for us to not get to a million a month. And it's, it's kind of that simple. So what is stopping you? Fix it and remove it and do more of what you need to do to get to where you want to get to.
So just do what needs to be done to get you what you want. So for example, more calls, more reps, more sales, more money. That's the flow.
Now to find your bottleneck, if there's any of you watching this and you're thinking, well, I don't even know what's wrong right now, you need to know your pipe. And a business really is as simple as a pipe. It's just a series of tasks or roles in a specific order. So for example, you run an ad and people see it and they click it, right? Then when they click the ad, they are probably going to land on a VSL because it's the most efficient model. And then they're going to watch the VSL and they're going to click on a button to book a call. Then they're going to go and land on a calendar. And then when they've booked a call, they're going to land on a thank you page, right? Then they're going to receive warm up emails, they're going to scout your online presence, they're going to attend the call and then they're going to speak to a sales rep and they're going to buy and then they're going to get onboarded and they're going to begin with your product or service. So again, the question is which elements of your pipe, not that kind of pipe, dirty bugger, are performing and which are underperforming. And we need to fix the latter before we scale or else you're just going to scale into the bottleneck. So for example, let's say you've got really profitable ads. People go to your vsl, they go to your calendar, but they don't book.
Well. The bottleneck is something to do with either the VSL or the calendar because that's the bottleneck. So spending more on ads is just, it's not going to solve that bottleneck. You need to remove that problem to open up the throughput so that people can go through. And then when there is no bottleneck, that new traffic, the more ads, more ad spends, ad spends, more ad spend will just filter straight through and you will literally book more calls, take more calls, close more calls and make more money. That's what happens when there is no problem, no bottleneck, no constraint. That's why it's so important to fix it first before you go and scale. Now the good news is when all current bottlenecks are addressed and fixed, you can scale far and you can scale bloody fast as well. And often growth is really, really, really explosive. And I've seen this for me and I've seen this for clients and I actually experienced this. One example that stands out to me is when I went from 70k one month to 364k the very next bloody month. I'll never forget that. What happened was a YouTube video blew up and within, within about 48 hours I went from about 10 cold bookings a week to over 150 call bookings a week overnight. Just because of that one video. It got so many tens of thousands of views and because there was no bottleneck, it just went all through the pipe and resulted in sales. And that was just bloody insane. But again, that only happened because I didn't have a bottleneck. So then I poured more traffic into the funnel and the extra traffic was able to flow through the pipe, giving me more sales just literally instantly. It was crazy. And if you do what we've just covered, you'll be able to scale to 100k a month. Way beyond 100k a month. And by the way, if you have any questions about any of this stuff, just ask them below the video and I will reply to as many of you guys as I possibly can. So if you have questions related to chapter one, about 10k, ask them. If you have questions related to chapter two, how to scale to 100k per month, ask them and I will try and reply to as many of you as I possibly can to help you.
Now next, let's talk about market awareness. Now if you, like me, want to scale as far as possible, you need what I call a product ecosystem. And this allows you to sell to the bottom and the middle and the top of the market.
And I've seen implementing this triple businesses in two to three months. Just, just doing what I'm about to walk you through. So if you want to scale, this is going to be so important to you. So let's just walk through the market awareness triangle first. So at the top you've got unaware people. They're unaware of you and they're unaware of their problem. So let's just say they want to learn gardening, they don't know who you are and they maybe don't even think that they've got a problem yet. In the middle they are somewhat aware of you or others in the market and somewhat aware that they've got a problem. They're thinking, ah, I could use help with this. I could. Maybe I'm doing this wrong. Right at the bottom of the middle they are extremely aware of you and other people in the market and they are Extremely aware of their problem and they're looking to buy something because they want to get it solved. And at the bottom of the diagram, these are people who have already bought from you and will likely buy from you again.
Now how do I actually do this? What does this look like in a real world scenario? Well, this is actually my current business that you see here. So I've got a book, got a group program, I've got a one to one program, a done for you programme, a one day workshop, a three day mastermind, one hour calls, in person consulting days and on rare occasion I offer my training program on its own, not usually, but every now and again.
So now if we look at the triangle, you've got my book at the top, which is for people that they're not, I mean they certainly don't know who I am yet. Most of the time they don't really know that they've got a problem. They're not even too sure about the potential of what they can actually do and build. And that's what the book is for. It's to tell them everything, show them everything and bring them into this online course and coaching and consulting world. Right then you've got the course, the one hour calls and the group program. And this is for people that they're not deadly serious yet. They're not all in. They maybe they just want to, they just want to kind of dip their toe in and start to learn and ask some questions and start to gain awareness of the problem and how to solve it. Then you've got the really serious people and usually the really serious people, they just want to get it solved, they want to do it, do it properly, do it fast and if so that's where the one to one and the done for you programs come in. And then for the people that are already clients, sometimes not, but most of the time existing clients will also come to the one day workshop. They'll also come to the three day mastermind, they'll also come to my house for like a consulting day to go even deeper and even further and learn even more and get more proximity. Now I'll say this again, I have seen implementing this double and triple and quadruple businesses in literally I've seen people's business double in three weeks. I've seen people's businesses triple in two months from doing this. Obviously I'm not guaranteeing that to you because I don't know who you are, I don't know whether you'll take action, I don't know where you are in your journey. One word of warning though, do not just go adding in new products and offers willy nilly. That's not the way to do this. You have to slowly and carefully craft each one and a sales process for each one, one by one and take them to market, get them working just one at a time, or else you're just going to overwhelm yourself. Nothing's going to work because you're going to be trying to do seven things at once and build funnels and run everything at once. Don't do that. Don't do that. As an example, and this is not an exaggeration, by the way, it took me 18 months, a year and a half to write my book. Produce the book, get it edited, get it proofread, write all the copy, build the funnel, write all the ads, produce all the ads, build the vsl, launch it, do a promo that took a year and a half and that is one single part. And that's a small, small part, tiny part of my ecosystem.
So if you are going to do this, which most of you should, you've got to do it one by one. Okay? So again, do one thing, get it working cool. Do another thing, get it working cool. Do another thing, get it working cool, one by one. And eventually, bear in mind this is taking me coming up on three years to build this infrastructure that you see here. Just do it one by one. Now just to recap before we move on to the third chapter. So step one is viewing the bottlenecks that are currently present. Step two is drawing out your end to end pipe. Step three is removing any constraints. Step four is then scaling traffic. And then step five is building your ecosystem over time.
Now next, let's talk about the above three key mistakes to avoid that will stop you or break you along the path. This is really important. Number one is not knowing the bottleneck or man, even worse, is fixing the wrong thing. I've seen people in the past think something was a problem when it wasn't and destroy something and go backwards and go back and actually make less money and make mistakes. So that is one thing that will kill you. Number two is not knowing how to do more organically or paid. And number three is not pricing your offers properly. Which is the worst thing of all because there's people out there right now significantly undercharging and just by fixing pricing could double the business, right? Could, could triple the business. So let's get these three things solved. So number one, if you haven't already, draw out your pipe.
For God's sakes, my humor is not good. And just be aware of all of the elements, just one by one. So draw out your pipe.
Label all the parts and look at which one is broken and then fix the one earliest in the pipe, right? Because it again, it all flows through. You fix the first thing, when that's done, you fix the second, when that's done, you fix the third if there is that. And eventually you're going to get to a stage where you can make more traffic and it just flows through and gets you more sales. And it's an amazing place to be. Step two is understand testing, right? So when I say not knowing how to do more and get more traffic organically or through paid ads. And by the way, organic just means content. Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and paid ads is paid advertising. You've got to test things out. So different ad styles, different video styles, different video lengths, different video copy, different themes, different subjects. And even this video that I'm making for you that you're watching right now, this is me trying something new. So it's. I've kept the topic the same, but I'm changing the production style, the teaching style, and also the length as well. So I am literally doing this right now. And you've got to track everything like a scientist. And through doing that, testing different ads, testing different content, different styles, different lengths, different types, different whatever, you're going to see what works, you're going to see what doesn't, and you're going to do more of what works and less of what doesn't. And this is one of the biggest things that I've ever learned in my life. When something works, just repeat it again and again and again and again and again until it stops working. So for example, if you write an ad, and I've done this in the past, where you write an ad and it is just amazing and it just prints leads, prints, calls, prints sales. Well, take that script and just tweak it like 5% and keep the rest of it the same. If you make a YouTube video that gets loads of views, take it, just tweak it 3%, 5% and repeat it and repeat it and repeat it. I wish I knew that sooner. Might sound simple, but it took me years to learn that. Okay, and number three on that third point, not pricing your offers properly. Watch my pricing video in full after this. That's critical. And make sure that you price properly based on value and charge what you're worth. And that video will show you how to do that.
Now, to Bring this example to life specifically around pricing. Which of the following would you prefer? $147 sales, $197 sales, 10 $1,000 sales, or just one $15,000 sale, which one would you prefer?
I would prefer just one customer that gives me $15,000. And when it's drawn out like that and you can actually see it, can you just see how powerful that math is above? Because there are so many people out there. Most people do low ticket. Now this is not the video for going into the psychology of that. Usually it's just fear. People are scared to charge what they're really worth, so they dramatically undersell themselves. Beginners especially are scared of charging high ticket and it just costs them loads of time and loads of money. It is so much more efficient and it's better for you and it's better for the customer to just deliver an amazing program, a great training program, group coaching, one to one consulting and really go all out for the customer and go overboard to help them get incredible results and charge for that transformation. It's much more powerful. One 15k customer is worth 154 $97 customers. And I know that there's at least one person watching this right now that is selling something for 47 97, maybe 297. And they could just be charging 8k, 10k, 12k 15k. And here's the thing. That is 154 times less support. It's 154 times less sales to make. It's 154 times less bandwidth needed from you and is 154 times easier and faster and simpler.
Now this is a screenshot from my team, Slack. One of my sales reps, Hamza, closed this deal a few days ago. 36,000 British pounds. I think it's about 45ish thousand US dollars.
And you know, 36k from one customer who paid in full on the first call. Zero objections. That is the power of high ticket high touch consulting. Now to recap, before we move on, let's just go over what we've just covered. So not knowing the bottleneck or fixing the wrong thing, not knowing how to do more organically or via paid ads, not pricing offers properly.
Next I want to talk to you about this, the fourth chapter in this video today. Three sneaky tactics to make sure that you actually keep the bloody money and don't lose it.
So number one, the first thing we're going to cover here is how to keep all of the money in high interest bank accounts.
Investing it as soon as possible in yourself and in assets and building a war chest of at least $100,000 for safety and for manoeuvrability as well. Now to touch on point number one. Man, I, I wish that I. Again, some of this stuff might sound simple. I didn't know this for years. I wish that I did this sooner. I used to keep back in my old company over a million. It was a minimum, minimum of a million in cash in a normal bank account with no interest, right? I would have been making about 3,000 pounds per month plus at the old interest rates back when I used to operate that, that old business. And right now there are banks like Mashrec who pay 6.25% wise, who pay 4.3% and so on. So as you build up your cash reserves, just Google search for the highest interest bank accounts in your country, store all of your cash in there and if you do what I'm telling you today, you will have 100k in cash, then you'll have half a million in cash, then you'll have a million in cash in the future, believe me, like when you get this stuff right, you will make a lot of money, you'll make it fast and it's important to store it and it's important to grow it as well. And just to caveat, I would consider spreading your money out across different banks for safety as well. Don't never keep all of your money in one bank because of bank risk. The banks can go down. So spread it out ideally across not only bank accounts but also countries as well. Now number two, invest the money that you have spare on the side. The best investment that you can make is by far in yourself. The second best in my opinion is in team members and the third is in paid advertising. And as you make money, do this. So keep number one, keep a safety pot, number two, keep an investment pot. And number three, keep a liquidity and operations pot. And that's your war chest, Number three is your war chest. Use the investment pot for masterminds and courses and coaching and consulting and stuff like that. And again, investing in yourself will always make you the most money of all. Like all just bloody by far. And step three, just save, save, save, save, save. And I remember one of my mentors, Sam Ovens, once said this at a mastermind that I was at, he said cash gives you balls. And he said when you get a million in cash, you can just, you can do anything. You can hire the absolute best team members. You can invest in new funnels and ads. You can scale your ads without having to worry about. You can invest in that mastermind that you want to go to and on and on. And from my experience, the more cash that you have, the calmer you are, the more happy and focused you are, and the more you can reinvest in growth for yourself and for the business as well. So use the pots that I just shared to know how much to save, where to save. Get different bank accounts with different banks for safety, like I just said, and use each account as one of your pots for these different purposes.
So that's it for this video. Go and watch the pricing video next and I'll see you back here soon.
