Hey guys, it's Will. And literally the only reason that I've made the money that I've made is because I believe that I could. And in this video I want to share with you three stories to hopefully demonstrate and teach you guys how to master your mind so that making money not only becomes a lot, lot, lot more effortless, but you just learn how what you believe is controlling your life and especially controlling your success and your income. Now this became so blindingly apparent to me just recently in these three ways that I want to share with you in this video today. So here goes with the first story that I want to share now. I'm working with a private equity firm right now who came to me and asked me to help them to buy some E Learning companies.
And when they first came to me, I started ringing around some of my friends that have the biggest, most successful elearning companies that I'm aware of. And one of the people that I messaged said this to me and this is pretty much exactly his words by the way.
You can't sell these businesses. I can't sell my business. Those were pretty much his exact words. And when I was voice noting back to this guy, I said to him, the only reason that I was able to sell by the way, for those that don't know this, I used to own an E Learning company that I grew from 0 to $16.4 million and then exited last year to a private equity firm in America for multi seven figures. I was saying to this guy, the only reason that I was able to sell that company is because I believed that I could. Because let this be the first lesson, right? If I had listened to what everybody else said when everyone said to me, oh, you can't sell these businesses. You can't sell a personal brand driven info business. It's named after you. It uses your face and your name and your likeness. You can't sell that business. If I believed that, I would never have sold that business and I would be down millions of dollars right now if I had that that limiting belief. Now thankfully, I'd had a very good mentor earlier in my career who had already planted the seed in my head and planted the belief that you can sell any business. The only difference is the quality of the buyer and the price. So if your business is heavily reliant on you, not a very long track record, a lot of key man risk, well, you're probably going to sell to a worse buyer for a pretty damn low price and vice versa, if you've got a Great track record, dominance in the market. You are pretty much all, if not entirely removed from the business. And on and on, you're going to sell to a way better buyer for a way higher price, which was the, thankfully the case with me last year. But coming back to my point, thank God that I didn't have that belief or I can't sell this business. These businesses are not sellable. If I would have been unlucky enough to have that belief, I'd be down.
Millions of dollars. Millions of dollars. And I was saying to this guy in the VO note that I sent back to him, I said, listen, the only reason I sold my company was because I believed that I could.
And there's a lot to learn from that. It might sound like a simple story, but that's the first story that I want to share with you. So let me ask you a question.
What do you not believe to be true? Right now that is true. Now, it's very hard to answer that because if you believed it, you would believe it. And the fact that you don't believe it, you know, you probably hold that belief quite, quite firmly because usually when humans hold the belief, they really believe in the belief. That's why they believe it in the first place. But just, just be conscious that what you believe might not be true.
What you believe might not be true. So that's the first story I want to share.
The second story that I want to share is this. Now, I was chatting to someone on Instagram about four days ago and this conversation really stayed in my mind and it was one of the reasons I wanted to make this video for you guys. Now, I was talking to someone.
And they said to me, will, I'm not spending any more money on education until I make 15k a month.
And I said to the guy, well, how much have you spent on education so far? He said, oh, I bought a 997 course and it's not really very good.
So.
I was trying to explain to the guy that, number one, if you've paid such a low amount, it's probably not very good because not always, but a lot of the time, the more you pay, typically the better the product, the better the program, the better the service, the better on and on, right? Not always, but there's a reason things cost a lot of money, because usually they're better, they're higher quality, there's more that comes with them, right? So I said to the guy, the first thing was, if you've only paid 997, well, it's probably 997 for a reason, right?
And there's a lot that you simply won't know. I said to the guy, how much is not knowing what you don't know costing you? And I want to ask that same question to you guys here today as well. Number one, what do you believe that's actually not true. And number two, how much is that belief gap? How much is that knowledge gap costing you? Because for me, if I didn't believe I could sell my business, I'd be down millions of dollars. My friend who I mentioned earlier, he could sell for multi seven figures right now, I promise you that, because it's a great business. But he just happens to believe that he can't. And I'm telling you for a frigging fact, he absolutely could. Because I know how good his business is. So that belief is costing him millions of dollars. And for this guy, coming back to this second story, this guy I was talking to, I said to him, firstly, 997 is just not going to cut it. You need so much more than that. There's so much that you don't know. And secondly, how, and I don't mean any offense by this, I'm not here to offend anybody, that's not why I'm making this. But.
When he said to me I'm going to invest in more education but not until I'm making 15k per month, well that's like saying, listen, I'll get driving lessons but but only when I can drive a car pretty well.
I will get a PT when I've got a six pack.
It just makes no sense man. You need to do these things to get these things.
And I said to this guy, I explained this as like politely as I could. Honestly I was a little bit angry because it just annoys me when people have these fucking stupid beliefs and I just know they're costing themselves so much money man, because I've been there. The only reason that I'm sat here today, multimillionaire in Dubai, two eight figure companies, one of them sold to private equity is just belief and knowledge and action. I believed I could do it. I learned what was needed so I knew what to do and I did what I had to do. Beliefs, knowledge, action. If you just do those three things, believe you can do it, learn what you need to know to do it properly and do it well and do the frigging work, you can get anything that you want in life, man. I've always had this belief. And here we go again.
I'VE always had this belief that if a human on earth can do it, I can do it. You know, with the exception of like, you know, physical, like basketball, for example. I'm just not tall enough to be a basketball player or certain physical things. But beyond physical limitations, of course, if there's someone out there that can do something that just requires beliefs and learning and action, well, I will get the beliefs, I will do the learning, and I will take the action. And then it's just a matter of time. You know, one of my friends once said to me, oh, God, what was the saying? He said, the outcome is guaranteed, but time is not.
So I truly believe any of you watching this video right now who are not distracted, you're not clicking off on cat videos, you're not going to feed your dopamine addiction right now, any of you still watching this video with me right now, you can do anything, you can achieve any. If I can do it, I'm just a random human with a brain. The only difference between you and me is beliefs, knowledge, action, and time. That's it. That really is it. So that person that I was talking to.
He didn't quite get it. He told me that I'd offended him by being too blunt. So good luck to that guy. You know, sometimes you, you just, you just can't help people. And I was trying to say in the most polite, most respectful way possible, you know, how stupid it is that you won't invest now in the knowledge that would shoot you past 15k a month. Like, man, I could have got that guy to 25, 35, 50k per month in 6, 8, 10 weeks, no problem. But he won't invest in that knowledge and guidance and support because he thinks that he knows better. He believes, he believes that he knows better than me. Now, I wanted to say to this guy, listen, let's just forget emotion, forget judgment, right? Let's just look at, like, logic and facts. I've made over 30 million, you've made about 60k. I've been doing this for eight years, you've been doing this for six months. So I'm not being egotistical here. It's just, it's probably the case that I know more than you. It just probably is because that's just a logical fact, you know? So I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm not trying to be egotistical, but it's highly likely. I know a lot of stuff you don't know. And if you knew it and you adopted the beliefs, you would Just make so much money, so much faster. And I know that because I've done this so many times for so many people. If you haven't already seen the William Brown testimonials YouTube channel, Go and check it out after this video and just listen to some of those stories. I've taken people from 4k a month to 90k a month, from 30, 40k a month to 150, 200k a month, from 0 to 350 grand in 6 weeks. Like all these stories just because I implanted the beliefs, I gave them the knowledge, I showed them how to take action and implement and held their hand and kept them patient so that like time could play out.
It's just those four things. But some people just can't be helped, unfortunately. And I really hope that you guys watching this today, just you just.
If you could just take one piece of value from this video today, just question your beliefs because for so many people, their beliefs are holding them back, man. You know, beliefs, knowledge, action, time. It's those four things. So that's the second story that I wanted to share with you.
Now the third story that I wanted to share with you is this. Now someone joined my coaching program recently. My, I have this like anytime one to one program where they get anytime calls with me and my team and my WhatsApp and I just do calls with them. I give them my training program as well. And again I give them like the knowledge first and help them with the action second essentially. So someone came on board and.
He was charging 1.5k for a. No, he wasn't actually. Was he charging. No, he was, he was charging 1.5k. Yeah, 1.5k for 3 months for basically a fitness offer. Essentially. You know, it's a bit deeper than that, but essentially a fitness offer.
And whenever I have a first call with a new client, I call it a blueprint call. So I give them a document to fill out and then they turn up to the first call with the document and I understand their traffic and the sales process, their conversion, their value, their pricing, their unit economics, where they're at in their market, who the competitors are. Just, just the whole picture. The whole picture. And it was blindingly obvious because I'd had another client with a very similar offer with a very similar first price when he first joined me that I took from very small numbers to, let's say very bloody big numbers, from low five figures to multi six figures, right? And the very first thing that I said to this guy was raise your price to 5k.
And he said, I don't believe his exact words, I don't believe people will pay that.
So again, the belief is always first. I don't believe people will pay that. So then it's my job to explain and instill the belief that people will pay that. And I'll tell you how I did it. I'll tell you exactly how I did it. So I ran through my pricing paradigm with this guy and I said to him, right, let's just do an exercise. Step number one, what is the 12 month value? If the right person buys from you, your ideal customer, they come in with, they do the work, they work hard, they adopt the beliefs, they do the learning, they take the action and they're patient. In 12 months time, where are they going to be? Roughly right now, this was a fitness offer specifically for C suite executives, entrepreneurs. And he said to me something like it would add, I can't remember the number, 80k, 100k, 120k to their business or their career. So I was like, right, 120k is the 12 month value. That's step number one. Step number two.
What can your avatar afford? What's their rough affordability? And it was obvious these guys would spend 3k, 5k if they really believed this was going to work for them and get them the result, the outcome that they wanted. They would pay 5k, they pay 10, they pay 15. The right person would, right, so that's step number two. What's the affordability of the avatar? Now maybe the most important is step number three. What do you believe.
That this is worth? What do you believe it's worth? And he said, well I believe it's worth about 1.5 or I did anyway, when, when he came on board as a client, he did. And now, now we could start to see, okay, it's worth a hell of a lot. They can afford to pay it if they believe that it's going to work. And I believe that it will work and I can help them to get the outcome. So can you see how what that exercise does is it changes your belief around your self worth, around your value and around your pricing in general. Right.
So long story short, you probably know what I'm going to say next. He started charging 5K. Five days later, someone paid him $5,000 in full. It was the most money he'd ever made in a single day in his life. A few days later, he'd closed another 5k. A few days later he'd done two payments of 2 and a half across a standard Payment plan. You all know what a payment plan is. And now he's just like making more money than he ever imagined, easier than he ever imagined. He'd never had $5,000 get sent to him on a call before. And it's just changed his life, it's changed his business. And he'll go on to make, over time, he'll make millions of dollars now because of that, that, that, that one bloody change in beliefs. And that's just the first thing that we've worked on. There's so much other stuff to work on. Unit economics, sales, process, throughput, pricing, front end, back end traffic, paid ads, hiring a team, on, on and on and on and on and on. Like if this guy stays with me. And again, we allow time to work its magic.
Like, this guy's investment in my program will make him like millions, goddamn millions of dollars over his career.
Thank God that he believed that I could help him. Thank God he believed that giving me some money would make him a lot more, which is exactly what's happened. That always happens when people work with me. They pay me this much and I make them this much. That's value. That's like fair value. People give me this and I make them all of this.
That's fair value. And that's it. That's what I wanted to share with you. So two things. Number one, what beliefs do you have that are actually not true?
And number two, beliefs, Knowledge, action, time.
