Yes, yes. What's going on everybody?
Hey, who we got? Who've we got? Ah, Jamie. He made it to the, to the VIP today.
I did indeed. Amazing, mate.
Amazing indeed.
Good to you. Good to have you here.
In the house as well. Lee Sanford to have you here as well. Dude.
Hey, Will, how you doing, mate?
Love your stuff, pal. Love it, love it. Good to be here, mate. Brilliant, mate, brilliant. Good to have you. Serena. No, no sneezing today, I promise. Just, just talking.
If you don't sneeze.
No. Bloody love it. Bloody love it. Well guys, so we're just a tad early. We'll let everybody else join. If any of you have any thoughts, any questions, anything you want to cover, just put them in the comments, the chat, just write any questions in the chat and then we're going to go one by one through those. So anything on your mind, get it written in there and, and we'll get started in about 60 seconds. I'll just let everybody else join and I'll just sort out my, my presentation and stuff for the next hour as well whilst I'm waiting for you guys.
We'll get.
All right, let's see what we got.
Okie dokie. Good.
Hopefully everyone can make it today with no, no lost, lost links. You be good. Let's see. Right, cool. So let's make a start. I'll start with this question here, Jared. So, hey, Will, I grew a channel to 360k subs, now created a new channel to build an audience to be able to build a coaching consulting business for overwhelming unseen entrepreneurs who want to grow a personal brand through YouTub YouTube. Cool. I'm in a weird spot not having any social proof besides the fact that I grew that channel and got 100k of those subs in 90 days. Jared, is this on the new channel? You got 100k subs in 90 days?
It will. Yes, this is on the new channel.
Okay. Okay. So you grew one channel to 360 and then started a new channel and got that to 100 as well?
Yeah, well no, the new channel is only at about 80.
Under 90 subscribers right now.
Oh, what, not like nine? Zero?
Yes.
Yeah, cool. Okay, got it, got it, got it. So under this subs I have my offer and everything in place. Just not sure how to get started as growing this long form audience has been slow and I don't seem to be reaching my ideal clients. And also, should I try to niche down more specific? Right, let's start with these questions. So dude, just tell me, tell me the, the offer in, in your words.
Okay, so my offer is basically a high ticket coaching consulting program. Yeah, it's very simple. It's just, it's really my only offer right now at this point.
And I, I was thinking about charging about 3,000 maybe for the first couple of clients and then bumping it up.
Okay. Okay. And what, what's like the, the outcome and the promise?
Well, I guess that's kind of where I'm stuck too because.
It'S kind of a weird situation because I had such fast growth the first time and now it's been very slow trying to target the niche and I'm getting like under 200 views on each long form piece of content I put out now.
Yep.
So realistically my, I guess the transformation would be to be able to get entrepreneurs to get more leads and clients through making videos.
Cool. Cool. Okay, got it. So let me come back to your comments. So I'm in a weird spot of not having any social proof besides the fact that I grew that channel and got 100k subs in 90 days. So have you?
What?
This is a new offer, right? And you haven't had any clients for this yet?
No.
Okey dokey. Okay, and when did you like launch this and start looking for clients?
This was about, I'd say, honestly it's been about a month ago. I really got serious about it. So it's, it's fairly new.
It's brand new. Yeah, that's, that's, that's an old time. Okay. Okay. That's good for context. So I've got my offer, everything in place. Just not sure how to get started. Is growing this long form audience has been slow. Well, it hasn't been slow at all. It's only been fucking four weeks for God's sake. So that's, that's not slow, you know, that's. That, that's like saying, dude, I've been going to the gym for four fucking weeks and I still don't look like Mike Thurston. I'm so annoyed, you know, so, so I certainly wouldn't panic yet. But I know what you're saying though. I know that you want to go as fast possible. Who doesn't? Right? So, so I completely get yes. And I don't seem to be reaching my ideal clients. Right, right. So to take a step back now, how many videos have you uploaded so far and how many are you doing per week?
So I've uploaded, I want to say it's under 20. I think it's about 17 or 18. Videos right now. And I'm just doing one a week, just one long form.
Okay. Yeah, that's good, that's good. Well, one, one a week is nice because then you can focus on quality. You don't have to rush. But it is slow, you know, one a week is, is very slow. I remember when I first started my channel, I was booking about one to two calls per week when I started. And in fact I was getting about 300 views. 700 views, you know, 200 views for the first few months actually. So God knows I've been where right now, you know, and it wasn't until September, October, November, December. It took me about five months before I had my first massive video. I don't remember how many uploads I'd done, but I have certainly been there when it's. When it's a slow start. So I can relate to where you're at. And what I would say is number one is patience. Because sometimes it does take time. That's just, it just is what it is. The most important thing that I can tell you and that I've learned is make sure that your videos are only made for one ideal avatar. Right. You have got to know exactly who you're speaking to. You should have like a document with your ideal avatar in like male, female, rough age, rough career, rough income, like their desires, their problems, their pains, their dreams, you know, a full on their blockers, like a full on bloody. Exactly who you're speaking to. Do you have that? Have you gone that specific?
Yes, I, I do now actually, because I, I got your book a couple weeks ago, so I've just been following everything in the book and I, I listed out that whole thing. His name is even Danny. I named him Danny.
Good.
So, so I got very specific about it. And yeah, that's, that's been helping me a lot.
Yeah, that, that. Well, it will, it will help you a lot. So just make sure all your videos are for that person around their pains and problems and desires and. Right. And the, everything that's stopping them from getting where they want to go. And if you do that, that's what gets. It doesn't get views. Usually the more, the more niche down and specific the content, usually the less views it gets, but certainly the more customers it gets over time. For, for sure. This is a common thing that I see. Small channels often make more money than bigger channels just because they're so specific for the avatar. And when people have a problem, they go to that channel and they, you know, they soak up the value and, and buy. So it's really just a matter of time until you start getting calls and sales from this. Just on your last point here, should I try to niche down what, tell me about some of the content that you're making now. Is it, are you trying to go a bit broader?
Well, that's kind of where I've been stuck because at first I wanted to and actually the way I found you was through Jordan Welch. I was watching his content where he made that second page from his big channel and made the smaller channel and he was talking a lot about micro niching. So that was kind of where I got that idea. I was like, you know, I, I thought of. And that's kind of where I got the overwhelmed and unseen entrepreneurs because I wanted to make it specific to, you know, I wanted to add in a little bit of like the mindset and sort of help people who need clarity and are really just stuck. But then, you know, kind of ironically I became stuck in the same position.
And my older channel, see that, that was more of like an entertainment channel. So it was very hard. It doesn't match up at all with what I'm doing now. So the only thing I can really use that now is as like a social proof, like just saying that I grew that channel and the reason I grew it so fast was through using shorts, which I no longer would recommend, you know, people trying to grow a business to use shorts. So yeah, it's kind of a difficult situation now because I'm kind of playing the long game now, but I still want to get started.
Yeah, I, I was going to say that, I was going to say like, can we use the other channel as proof? But it sounds like we actually kind of we can a little bit, but for the most part we kind of can't because it's a different niche, it's a different type. It's grown with shorts, not long form. So it's a good asset to have for a bit of proof, but it's not really going to tell the right story. So. And right now, I mean, if you were doing this, when you don't have testimonials, you are the testimonial, right? So when you don't have testimonials or case studies, you've got to sell yourself because there's no other thing that you can sell apart from yourself. So.
Really I would say for where you are right now, the best thing you can do. And so it's overwhelmed and like what, what did you say? What was the exact Word. And it was overwhelmed and undersea.
Overwhelmed and unseen.
So. So how do you get them to fix that?
Well, the way I get them to fix that is through getting into making content. And then that way they, you know, naturally get more eyes on their business because they're putting it out there on YouTube. Oh, and that was another quick question I have is, should I be focusing on people who haven't started on YouTube yet though, or should I start because I feel like I can make more content with people who have already started? Because that way I can help them to like improve little things here and there. And I have a lot of video ideas for that as opposed to people who are not starting yet because then it's kind of just more like fluff, you know.
Yeah, I would definitely focus on. See, see, here's one thing that I've learned. The most powerful thing to do is to solve pain, right? So it's, it's harder to sell a potential gain than it is to solve a pain, right? So you know, make 10k per month as opposed to stop losing money. You know, the, the pain is greater in the latter. So for you, I would suggest going after people that are trying to do YouTube but just can't. And they just can't figure out why because they are already invested in the idea of YouTube, which is why they're going already. So you don't have to sell them on that. But they're in massive pain because they can't do it properly and grow. That is a far easier sell for you. So I would niche down in that direction. Yes.
Okay, awesome. And is there any way, like in the meantime? Because, you know, I, I do have a few people that I've been helping for free, like just a friend of mine here in town and then another guy that I met in another group and that was kind of with the hope of being able to use them as social proof. The only thing is with YouTube, you know, it takes so long with a long form channel to actually see results. So that's another place where I'm kind of stuck because I'm like by the time they actually start making money, which I feel like is what everybody really wants, especially entrepreneurs getting into YouTube.
I don't know how I can actually leverage that in the meantime or if I could like run paid ads in order to get some clients in the door just to start.
Yeah, I was literally just about to say that, man, you've beat me to it. So when it comes to YouTube organic, what I see is generally people either grow Very, very fast or they grow very, very slow and it's completely random. You know it. There's no, there's no predictability to it. So it's very tough. And paid ads is the only way. You know, like paid ads is the only way where you can immediately buy attention, put it in a funnel, book calls and take calls. It's the only way. So if you said to me, like if you said to me, will I need a client in 30 days time, I need it or else I'm going to die, I'd be like, right, well let's build a VSL funnel and run paid ads. Because it's just the only way to do like with a hundred percent guarantee, like there's, you know, it's the best way by far. So.
Yes, okay, yeah, I would like to do that. Just at least get some clients in the door while I'm building the YouTube channel.
Kind of, you know, satisfy me for the moment at least.
Yeah, that's a good call. And we do the same.
Cool.
Yeah. Does that help?
Yes, that helps a lot. Just one more quick thing though. As far as running paid ads though, what is it that, because you know, you hear a lot of people talk about like selling to a cold audience and basically that would be a cold audience. Right. So would it be through the VSL that.
That I would send them into like a challenge or something to spend more time with them and.
No, no.
Get to know me a little bit.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. So if so if I was you, here's what I would do. I would write a batch of ads. I would send ads to a vsl. So when people click the ad, they go to a VSL and they can book in a call. They click a button which opens a new page with a calendar. They book in. Then they go to a thank you page. You're going to dial them and WhatsApp them and confirm the appointment to raise the show rate and just, just take the calls. And the first thing that you care about is how much ad spend does it take to book a call.
And if you can get the cost per call to a reasonable number around a good number is about a hundred dollars per booked call. Ish. You can go a little bit higher than that, then you're gonna win because mathematically that's just sound. So that's what I would do if I was human. And that's what I've done in my last business and this business as well. So yeah.
Okay. And then from the call you just sell Them right into the program from there.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
And dude, you can absolutely close cold people 100 if your VSL is good enough. The problem is, is big enough and you're good enough on the phone, you'll close people, no problem.
Okay, well I appreciate it, brother. That helps a lot.
Yeah, I've got you man. No worries. All good for now?
Oh yeah, we're good. Thank you.
My pleasure, My pleasure. No worries. Okay, Nitish, let's come to you next. So for my manifestation offer targeting five and six figure entrepreneurs, is having a free community a right move or should the call to action be just the vsl? Yeah, dude, get rid of the free group, man. It's a complete waste of time. Just go straight to a VSL and a call. Don't just, just, just don't do a community for sure. Okay, okay, okay. And does having two links, BSL and a free community hurt my vsl? Yep, yep. Absolutely it will. And what's your opinion about having a money back guarantee? So yeah, just drop the group, man. Just trust me. Just drop the bloody group. Go straight to a VSL and a call. All right. That is also going to maximize calls which will get you sales and money faster.
Right.
Which is a no brainer. And for the money back guarantee, well, you will close more people with the money back guarantee. That's just a fact that you will just, you'll make more money. But you've got to be able to deliver because if you don't deliver, you're going to be giving that money back, you know, so, so be careful there, you know.
Yeah, delivering is not a problem. But in your YouTube videos you many times you have said that having a money back guarantee, it's not as needed. Right. So I was a little bit confused whether to have a money back guarantee or not. But yeah, I will have a money back guarantee then.
Yeah, 100%, dude. I'll give you an example, right? So in my consulting company that I run right now, we've been stuck between about 400amonth and 600amonth cash for like a year and a half, you know, every bloody month. But between those numbers and when we didn't have a guarantee recently, we decided we want to scale to a million a month. And we've actually added a guarantee now for, for the first time. So we make people do certain things to make sure they do the work, but we just know that if people do certain things, they're almost guaranteed to get the outcome. And when we realized that, we were like, well, let's just guarantee it because we're going to be able to help more people. So if you're sure that you can help them, do a guarantee because you will make more money.
And another question please. So, yeah, how do we make sure that the clients we get are of high quality? Like because we want, we don't want people misusing that guarantee. Right. So how we can make sure that is. Yeah, how we can make sure that we get high quality clients rather than low quality people into our group?
100%. One of the biggest influencing factors in client quality is price, right. The higher the price.
The more quality the buyers are and vice versa for the lower price because it takes more belief and commitment to pay a higher price. And with belief and commitment comes action and with action comes results. So you can use price as a filter. And also this is the reason why sales calls are so important. Because if someone is an you can catch them on the call and stop them and not let them in. Right? That's, that's very important. That's one of the reasons we still do sales calls is because we tested not having calls and will. Will accidentally get in. Whereas with the calls we will catch them and stop them. So that's why calls are also so important, you know, because you can make sure that people are a good fit, which is very important to us. We actually, we turn a few people a month away because they're just not a good fit and I just don't want to work with them. So price number one, check people by having a sales call number two.
And just contract the guarantee. Make sure it's black and white in writing so that you know and they know you know.
And will. Yesterday you told that Nero went like creating mass content for many people and playing the volume game.
Right?
But if I want to target people who will like, if I want to get clients more faster, would creating content more specifically would help me getting clients faster or would you say like creating content for general audience for like gender people is the right move. So like I am torn between creating content for the people, like gender people or creating hyper specific content for entrepreneurs so that the more chances there is for entrepreneurs to see my content and buy my program 100%.
There's really three ways to go with content. You can either go hyper, like hyper specific.
Right. Or you can go hyper broad.
Which is what Nero does, or you can go and do a mix.
Now if you do specific, which is kind of the way that I'm going now, right, you're not going to get many views at all. You're going to get very low views, but much more quality traffic and it's much more likely to book calls and get sales. Or you can go the nero route and go crazy broad, crazy broad. And this again, 99, honestly, 0.5% of people are not gonna buy, but 0.5 are gonna pay massive, massive prices. 10k, 25k, 50k. And that's all that you need to make multi six figures a month like Nero. Right. The worst thing that you can do is do a mix. That's just suicide because then you're not going to get views and you're also not going to make sales. And doing a mix is what most people do. And it's why most channels don't work because they're kind of trying to get views, but they're kind of trying to be specific and book calls. So they do neither. Right. You have to pick one of. I mean ideally one of these two. Either be specific and don't get views, but help people or be broad and sell to the 0.5%.
You've got to make that choice. Okay.
And so in your experience working with lots of clients, like, like for me it's manifestation. That niche is manifestation.
Right.
So for generally like mindset offers, would you recommend going broad or going hyper specific? And if like client avatar is people who are making a lot of money, would you say going specific is a better according to you or going broad?
Yeah, yeah, for sure, we'll do it. I'll give you an example right now. If I was going to do a mindset offer, I would do a mindset offer for people making between 20 and 100k a month. That's my avatar that want to scale to half a million a month plus and they've got a business, it's doing well, it's working, they're making good money. But they want to do big numbers. Half a mile, one mil a month, big numbers. But their mindset is the only blocker and an understanding and processing and that kind of thing. That's what I would do. And I would go crazy specific. Crazy specific just about. And I would speak directly to that avatar Again, making 20k to 100k a month. If they're below that, they don't count. If they're above that, they don't count. They're out of the window and all stuff about that for them. And I would play the anti views game and just try and not get views, but just get the right people to that channel and get them to watch and just have all the videos so right for them that they binge all the videos. Then they're going to get hours of watch time in quite fast and then they're much more likely to buy. So that's what I would personally do. Knowing what I know, I would go that route.
But the, the other option is just the Nero option where you make really, really, really, really broad content. You go for the mass market views and you just try and sell to the 0.5%, the 0.1% and charge very high prices.
But would you say the hyper specific route is more faster or is it equal?
Like. I, I actually think it's equal. I do, yeah. You've just got to. The problem people make is they don't know what game they're playing. You know, they don't know am I doing specific, am I doing broad, am I in the middle. I don't even know who the is my avatar. I don't know. Pricing is wrong, Funnel is, the VSL is. So it's just a mess, you know, so you've got to get, you've got to get all the little things right, all the basic things, but all of them right. And then it works. If that makes sense.
Thank you. Thank you.
My pleasure. My pleasure. Dude, really good question. Right. Jermaine. Jermaine, Jermaine. So I run full time faceless shorts. I want to sell a 30 day done with you program. I'm unsure about avatar offer pricing positioning because it's not a walk in the park. But if they put in the work and follow my system, they'll see results over the next couple of months. Okay, Jermaine, like what, what's the offer? Just describe the offer to me.
So the offer will basically be that they learn how to create transformative shorts that are allowed and I basically clip podcast shorts, but because I use AI images and stuff like that, it's allowed into the YouTube Partner Program and I would create a course on that and they can have just calls with me and I explain everything to them how to make this work. And they can also sell a product via YouTube because that's also what I did. I sold a course using these shorts. Do a sort of VSL on YouTube.
Okay.
So do you, so do they like choose their own niche?
Yeah, that's the thing. That's that I'm not sure of yet. I think it will work, but I know for sure that my niche will work and if they decide to go in a different niche, I'm not sure what kind of results they will get.
Yeah. So you're either gonna have to recommend that they do your niche or yeah, you would have to have some modules in your training program that teach them what a good niche is to try and help them to even choose a good niche in the first place. You'd have to teach them that probably right. In terms of your avatar. So well, if they're doing like. So it's a make money online offer. It's to make content, grow an audience and sell something to the audience. So it's really, in a way, it's a really good offer because it's very, very, very mass market. It's faceless, which people really want. It's make money online, which people really want.
I'm not sure how fast it is, but it's got the traits of a good offer. So the avatar is probably a make money online avatar, which is usually 21 to about 40 age range for, for men and women. The offer it sounds like is learn to make content, build an audience and sell something to them to make money. Would you agree with that? Is that about right?
Yeah, yeah.
So this is in terms of pricing, this is about, I would say about a 2 to a 4k style offer because it's not, it's more, it's a bit, bit more like gimmicky is the wrong word, but it's a bit more gimmicky, you know, which is not a bad thing, which because it's. Because it's mass market. So you've got a lot more people to sell to, which is the icing on the cake. Right. So I would say pricing around 2 to 4K and positioning really feeds back from the avatar. So you need to choose. Do you work with a more mature older avatar who's maybe tried other things that failed and you're selling them on. This is the way that it, that will actually work for you or are you just going mass market?
Well, I used to run a community that was on school for 125amonth. I got that up to 6k a month. And there were basically people that were like some were 40 and there were also some young kids. But I would, I believe in between like 20 and 30 years old. And with these YouTube shorts myself I make like consistent 10k a month. But with prior to the YouTube update I was make. I, I did, I do this together with my brother. We were making like 25k. We got over 4 million followers using these shorts.
Yeah.
And I also recently started a new channel because I got demonetized and we got it to 135k subs in like 4 months or something.
Nice. So.
Nice.
I. Oh, yeah, yeah.
So really, I mean, you're. You've just, you've just given me the case study there, you know, which is like the proof for, for this whole thing, what you've done. You've done it multiple times. You've made really good money with it. So you just need to package up what you just said into a program, go out there to the same audience that's joined your group. That's a really good indicator, by the way, the people are in that group or your, Your, your market. So a good, good thing to do would be to just look at the most successful people that are in that group who've maybe done the best and make them the avatar, maybe even speak to them, have a call with them and just ask them, why did you join? How is it going? What's worked, what hasn't worked? And build your whole program around those success stories, pair that with your background and your case study, and you're going to crush.
Okay, yeah. But one thing is like, I targeted nine to five because I knew that I need to target an after. So I told them how to leave your nine to five, because that's basically also what I did. But it is pretty time consuming and to see results, you have to make a lot of shorts. So that's also what doubt. Like, a lot of things are being sold as easy money online, but in my opinion, it's pretty hard to make this work. And, dude, you know what?
I would lead with that in your marketing because it will differentiate you from everybody else that's talking. Right? So everybody else that's like, this is a new thing. It's so easy. Anyone can do this. It's so easy to make money. I would actually go the opposite way. I'd be like, listen to. Does this work? Yes, it does. Has it worked for me? Yes. Has it worked for others? Yes. This is for people that are wanting to leave their nine to five and build something reliable and sustainable. But listen, it takes work. It's a. It's a business. You know, you're going to have to put some time and effort and energy into this to make it work. But it's going to be very worth it when you do. Right. And that will build a lot of trust because people will be like, oh, my God, finally someone's telling me the truth in this online space and they will love you for it.
Okay.
Yeah.
And so what can I promise them? Because it's also A risky thing to promise them because I'm not sure if they gonna put in the work and with guarantees and stuff like that. Or maybe they will be overwhelmed like, oh, this is a lot or this is hard. Just after they joined my coaching.
Yeah, yeah, dude, for sure, dude. You're gonna get people that do amazingly well, you're gonna get people that completely fail. You're going to get people in the middle. That's just natural for any program on, on planet earth. You're always going to get that spectrum and you've got to only talk about the middle. You know, it's best, it's the most realistic and the most high integrity to just talk about the middle and say, listen, some people, they're not going to put in the time and effort and energy and work and they're going to fail. Some people are going to put in the time and effort and energy and work and they're going to do extraordinarily well. And those people can make 10, 20, 30, 40, 50k a month. Most people are going to be in the middle. They might make 5, 4, 6, 7, 8. And would you be happy if we only got you to that number? If yes, you should join.
Okay, so the time aspect, like if they work a nine to five, do you think that's a good after to choose? Because.
Maybe a 9 to 5 and doing this on the side is a bit too much or is it their own choice if they would like to spend their time? Because they probably on social media anyway and now they create content instead of, instead of consuming it.
Yeah, people have time if they want to make time for sure. Okay.
Yeah.
And nine to five is a good to sell to because they want to get out of the 9 to 5. So they're driven by that, that pain. So good market, good offer now. Yeah, just, just, just be realistic with them and tell them like you're gonna need an hour a day, six days a week or whatever it is, you know?
Yeah. So still 2 to 5k, 2 to 4k for 30 days with the course and calls and then.
Just being honest on YouTube and try to close them. And the Target is a 9 to 5.
Yes. I think for an offer like this it needs to be more of a program like three, three to six month time frame I would say. Okay, right. I don't think a month is enough. And this is not really a pay by the month offer. It's more of a thing, it's more of program where you're selling a result. So something around 3k for 3 months is fair. Not too high, not too low, good amount of time. You know, I, I would test that first and if I find that people need more time, I would go to 6 months, 3k for 6 months. Or if people are getting results, I'd keep it at 3k for 3 months and also try and renew them at the end of it as well if they need more time.
And then for unlimited calls or would you say how many calls a week.
For a program like this, that's mass market. I would do something like, something like this video training program. They've got access for three months, two group calls per week that they've got access to for, for three months. Maybe one with you, one with a team member or a success manager or something like that. And maybe a one, just one single one hour onboarding call that has to be used within say 14 days with either you or one of your team members to kind of welcome them in, get them excited, answer their questions and that is really valuable for 3K.
Okay, thank you.
No worries man, no worries. I've got you. Okay Tim, so let's, let's jump into Tim's question. So my niche is the spiritual manifestation law of attraction space. As you know, 99 of this niche is extremely low quality economically. Most people never buy anything serious and the culture conditions people to stay in delusional low ticket land. Nero at mass market, I respect that choice. However, I'm niche within this space, specifically high level relationship self concept work for men and I'm legitimately an 8 or 9 in terms of explaining and delivering transformation. My question is how do I attract enough eyeballs in a niche where almost everyone is bad in order to filter out the 0.1 who are discerning serious and will pay high ticket, do you recommend I also go mass or is there a smarter strategic way to locate and concentrate the right viewers inside an that is mostly non buyers.
Tim, how long have you been doing this for? Man?
I've been in this space, the general manifestation space for a long ass time. Three years on YouTube. And the relationship specific space.
More like a year and a half. And my issue has been.
Figuring out a high ticket package for people who actually want to commit to six to 12 months of serious work, you know what I mean? It's always like it's easy for me or relatively easy for me to sell like a 995 package. It's less intensive, but people don't get good enough results. But that's like the biggest commitment they can get, you know what I mean? So it's like, how do I consistently do that 5 to 10k package and should I go broad? Because I've been. I love your videos, man. You've been a huge inspiration. And I make videos like you. I love making content. This is crazy. And if I get, you know, 5 or 10, let alone 20Ks on 20K views on a video, I'm going to get so many more inquiries than if I go hyper niche and get 300 views on a video. And that's. And so it's like that middle ground. What? Yeah, what, what's worth it? And I'm like, I'm always experimenting and I've gone actually more general recently, more broad like Nero. And it's worked. I had a 60k video a couple weeks ago which is the highest I've ever had and it. You literally get 10 times the amount of inquiries. A lot of them are, but a lot of them also do convert to at least know a low ticket offer. So yeah, that's where my head's at. Sorry for the long GPT question by the way. I threw that in GPT and it made it long.
No, no, no, dude, it's, it's, it's great mate. And thank you for the kind words as well. So for this, right, the middle, the middle is so dangerous. You've got to go either, you know, you've got to either sell ultra high ticket or ultra low ticket, you know, you've got to go mass market, broad or very, very specific. You just. And I've learned this the hard way because I've tried to, to do it all and it just doesn't work. I've learned the hardware, it doesn't work. So it sounds like from what you've just said and in fact, let me ask this first, what is your price point or price points?
Yeah, so like I said, I've got that, you know, basically 1K offer, right. And that's what most people end up have been buying. And then I've got the higher stuff which I hardly have been able to sell at all, which is between like 5k and 10k and that's 6 to 12 months work with me basically one on one.
So that's what I want to figure out. And that can be priced higher quite honestly with the amount of, of one on one work they get with me. That's what I'm trying to transition into.
So you've got two things right now. The high ticket, the low ticket. Yeah, and sorry, the low ticket was how much?
995 US, 995 US.
Yeah.
And is that sold over a sales call?
Yeah.
Good, good. So there's no school, group, community?
No, no, no, none of that stuff.
Yeah, no. Okay. And how many calls are you booking per month?
The last month has been good because that video with a lot of views, but generally probably you know, 10 calls a month. And probably, you know, I closed probably three or four of those.
Okay, so about 10 calls a month, he's closing three or four. So good close rate. And of the two offers, how often do you sell? Like out of 10, how often do you sell it?
Maybe 20%.
Well, that's not too bad actually. That's, that's more.
Oh, no, I don't sell it. I mean like, I try to sell it but like, it's like I don't. I. I've closed one high ticket person in like the last three months. Ah, you know what I mean? Every, everything. That's the problem. Yeah, yeah.
Right, right, right, right, right. Oh man, I wish I could because.
Because 1, 1, 1 per, you know, one 5K person is the equivalent of, you know, five.
Yeah.
995 people. It's a lot. Yeah. So yeah, different ballgame.
100. Man, I wish I could listen to some of your sales calls. I would love to know because one thing that's on my mind, right, is I wonder what would happen if you had to sell the high ticket or you couldn't sell anything at all and you had no other option. You might close more of the high. Often when you've got a lower option, you sometimes default to it rather than pushing as hard as you would for the high thing. And without naming names, I. There's someone else in my head that's in the manifestation space and they make barely any sales, but at 18k price, they still make good money just from a few sales a month. 2, 2, 3, 4 sales a month. It's still very impactful.
That's kind of where the, the way that I've gone now as well. Very close rate but very high prices. So I think you've got some testing to do, man. I would consider a test period without that lower option, man, where you just force yourself to go and close that big boy offer with no other option and just throw yourself in, in the deep end. Because I think it might make a difference, you know.
That makes a lot of sense. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. And I will say, like when I've gone a little bit more broad, Nero style, I get more inquiries for stuff that I used to do and I still love to do where it's like general manifestation stuff where like I'm not working with a dude to transform him with shadow work over six or 12 months, but it's like genuinely someone who's like spiritual and wants basically stress relief and like I can work with them for a month and it's good.
Is that like just a different avatar altogether? You know what I mean? Like, should I be focused? Should like when those people come in, it doesn't feel right to offer them the six month thing. I know you said like have an offer for kind of everybody.
You know what I mean? Like it's like the 995 people are feeding me right now, but they're not where I'm going. And I agree with everything you say about just testing out, not having 995, but if somebody comes in and is like, hey, I basically want a spiritual counselor for a month. Yeah, yeah, I can do that too. You know what I'm saying? Like, is that a different type of client?
Yeah, it's so situation dependent, man. Like.
I want to give you the best, most helpful answer that I can here now for where you're at. You're booking a handful of calls, maybe more on a, on a decent month. What is the survey quality generally?
Meaning what?
Like, like the, the quality of the people that you, you get booking in calls. Oh, good.
Pretty, Pretty damn good. Yeah, yeah, like they're, they're good.
I would say first of all, most of them show up and.
I have a couple clunkers every month. But like generally speaking it's a high quality call because up and generally my videos get like a thousand views. But it's like, it's niche. It's like the serious manifestation. People like my channel's filtered that way, so it's good. But now I'm like, man, how do I reach these? You know, these especially men could be women, but who want to do deep shadow work on that, this stuff. And like I feel like I might have to go broad like Nero to do that. I don't know. Because it's like I'm not just getting enough eyeballs because it's random as hell. Like. Yeah, yeah, like how channels grow. I've seen that myself. You know, it's weird.
I completely get where you're coming from, dude. I think the, the most helpful and potent advice that I can give you is to burn the boats and only sell a high priced program and give yourself no other option, sink or swim. And I have a feeling you'll start closing A lot more of the high price ones and solve the problem. I, I really do at least do a period of it, two to three months where you force yourself and you don't default to the 995.
Okay, I, I totally hear that. And honestly, that's what I was kind of planning on doing. I have a, you know, I have a. Another coach who basically suggested the same thing. And then we've just had this uptick in inquiries the last month which has kind of like made me feel like, oh, maybe I should have this 995 thing, you know? But if you. I hear, I hear totally what you're saying. That makes.
Dude, I, I completely get where you're coming from. Like, I remember in my old company I had more of a scarcity mindset and I used to say to the team, just close anything, you know, if they can't do a full pay, do a payment plan. If they can't do a payment plan, give them a discount. If they can't do a discount, give them half off. Just get them, get them closed. But you cost yourself so many big deals. And in this company, I'm the opposite. I'm like, they pay full price or they go away and don't come in. And it's so much more powerful, man, to have that abundance mindset of less people, but much higher paying. And it's better for you and it's better for the customer as well. Which, which I think you already know.
Yes, for sure. Much higher value. Exactly. Awesome, man. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Yeah, no, no problem, mate. My pleasure. Really good question there. Okay, 22. Let's see if we can cover a couple more. So, Cider, how do you plan your work day just in general? Want to know how your day looks? I want to know because sometimes the day's over and the main thing does not get done. Yeah. So for me, I am pretty strict. I give myself one thing per day to do. Just one, one main thing per day. And then that one thing always gets done right.
And that it really moves the needle just to do one main thing every single day. And then the one thing gets done every day. So for me, I usually wake up at around 9am ish. I grab my phone, I order a coffee, and by the time I've got up and got dressed and got showered and come to the office, the coffee arrives. I just get on with the number one thing, whatever that number one thing is. Today it was going over all the, the decks for this, this personal brand challenge. Just Making sure they're good, they're valuable, they're all organized well. And it just took me about three hours to go through them all, like, and just double check them. And then that was it, my day done. And then after that, I just do whatever I want with the rest of the day. Go gym, go for a walk, go for a cigar, like, just do some reading, whatever I want to do. So I, for me, I just do one thing per day. And that has been my sweet spot for getting really, really quality work done. Does that help? Cider?
Yes. Thanks for that. One more question is like, how many hours do you work? Sometimes I have observed, like, when it's like, motivated, then spend more time working. And then after a few days, not enough time, like on average to maintain the balance. Like, how many hours a day, like, to work?
Yeah. So there's. I, I think there's two types of work, in my opinion. There's deep focus work and general work. Right. So deep, focused work. I usually do two to four hours a day, right. Where I'm actually doing something very important and very impactful. And then all the other time, it's just general work, like a client call, this webinar, checking whatsapps and replying to clients, jumping on a team meeting, listening to sales calls, making a YouTube video, watching YouTube, reading. It's I consider my entire life work. There's not a time that I'm awake that I'm not working on something. Or at least even when I'm watching YouTube, I'm thinking, what am I doing tomorrow? Oh, I need to do this. I need to build this. I'm making notes. So really I'm. I'm working pretty much every minute that I'm awake. And it's just a bit of deep work and then general work at all times generally. And I've just been like that for, for the entire eight years that I've been in business. Yeah. Okay, so the deep work, do you.
Do that first thing in the morning.
Or sometimes like the general works, thumbs up, and then it gets delayed. Like when you do the deep work and how you make sure that it's actually done. Because end of the day, if we learn many things, get ideas, if things not done, then yeah, like, we stay where we are.
For sure, dude. For sure. So for me, right now, I do so three days a week. Half of the day is calls with, with my clients. And on those days, I don't do any deep work. I just get up, met, you know, do just do bits and bobs and mess around and then I do my calls with the clients and that's that for those days. The other four days are completely empty. There's. There's nothing. No calls, no meetings, no nothing. And it's those four days that I do my deep work where I come into the office at some time of the day and get a big thing, a big important thing done right now. With that said, there's no set time, so sometimes I wake up and I'm just not in the mood and I'll. I'll go to the gym first, you know, maybe go for lunch with my girlfriend or something, and then come home and do the, do the deep work block and get it done. Or I'll get up and I'll be like, oh, I'm ready to go. And I'll do the work first and then go mess around for the rest of the day and go gym and hang out at a beach club or, or something like that. But on those four days, at least one thing gets done and it gets done well at some time that that day. Right? And then those other three call days is just random stuff. WhatsApp, email meetings, call reviews, client calls, stuff like that, so that I, I don't have a rigid schedule in that manner.
Okay, this is very helpful, thanks.
Yep. No worries, man. No worries. Okay. Muhammad, does my offer ladder997 8k done with you? 12k done for you make logical sense in terms of ascension, or would you modify the structure? So for me, the 8 and the 12?
Well, it is, it's pretty clear, isn't it? What's the offer, Mohammed?
Hey, Will, I hope you're doing well. So basically my offer is I was the fastest growing educational social media personality in my country, in Pakistan. So I basically grew like an audience of 300,000 plus on Instagram and 80,000 plus on YouTube, all in a space of like eight months probably. And so that was all educational content. It was really broad and basically targeted towards young guys who were into personal development. So I had this goal of getting to 100k per month. And I knew that, you know, positioning that offer in front of like, maybe South Asian audiences might not be the best idea in the world if I wanted to sell high ticket. So what I decided to do was I basically stumbled across you because I used to watch a lot of videos from Nero Knowledge. So I saw his testimonial for you and I went through all of your videos and stuff and I decided that maybe I should help people abroad basically grow their audiences on Instagram. Like, I have done, because I'm pretty good at that. And I have a lot of strong social proof for that. So my ideation was maybe I should launch an offer which was targeted towards getting people like maybe 10,000 plus followers on Instagram and, you know, using that to basically dial in their traffic so that they can increase their revenue. And then my ideation was that sell them a 997 course for a do it with you or do it yourself program. Do it with you 8k for like 90 days of access, a couple of calls with me per week along with the program. And in my done for you, I do the scripting and editing for my clients as well.
So.
Yeah, Is that. Is that a good offer ladder or would you change that up a little bit?
Yeah, no, this is. This is solid. This certainly makes sense. One thing I would test, right? So out of. So I would track, out of a hundred buyers, what percentage go for the 997? What percentage go for the 8? What percentage go for the 12? I would track that on a spreadsheet and I would also track on another spreadsheet how many people that have bought the 997 go on to buy the 8 or the 12. And again, which one did they buy?
Right?
And I would just make sure that people are actually buying the 8 and the 12 and not just doing the 997 and disappearing. Right. And one thing I would maybe want to test is just bringing the eight down to maybe five or six, so it's a bit more in the middle. So it's not as big of a jump from like 1 to 8 and 12 because it's quite an aggressive jump there. So for now, I think this is fine. And keep taking calls, keep closing people and track the data. And in a few weeks or a couple of months, just make sure that you keep an eye on the data and just make sure that people are actually buying the 8 and a 12 and enough people are buying the 8 and a 12.
Okay. Okay, that's really helpful. Well, I'm in a bit of a funny situation with YouTube. So I basically launched this offer and I started creating content on YouTube. And it was really similar to the kind of content that you make. But the funny thing is that when I was growing my audiences in Pakistan with YouTube and with Instagram, it was super easy for me, even though I was making it all in my local language. But when I switched over to YouTube for making this kind of content for Western audiences, I noticed that I've been posting on that channel for probably Three months now and I haven't gained like any traffic whatsoever. So I have closed like a couple of clients. Funnily enough, I have like 100% close rate right now with like taking 12 sales calls. But, but, but I haven't gained any calls from, from that YouTube channel. What would you recommend to me in terms of, in terms of like making content for like those, those western audiences? I tried the whiteboard style, I tried the imac camera, and I tried the hyper edited B roll kind of stuff as well. So do you think maybe I should just wait a little bit, be a little bit patient or would you say like play around with the strategy a little bit more?
Yeah, there's a few different elements to this. So number one, you've got to test the different styles to see what resonates with people. That's kind of one variable. The other variable is the, obviously the content and the themes and what you're talking about are you, I mean, again, I've said this so many times now, you've got to have one defined avatar that you specifically speak to. That's really important to define that and only speak to them. And then those people, depending on how big the niche is, right. Sometimes people find you faster, sometimes people find you slower depending on how big and deep and wide the market and the niches. Okay, so we've talked about variables, we've talked about content and keeping it specific to the avatar. Then you've got to think about packaging because it's got to stand out and appeal to the avatar. And then really you're just competing on the home feed. And to put it as simply and plainly as possible, if your videos are not getting traction and doing well, it's just because you're losing the battle against other people that are better at you than packaging and titles. And your videos are basically not good enough. And the way to learn is just through trial and error really, with different titles and styles and thumbnails and blah blah, blah. So it sounds like you're kind of doing the right thing. It kind of, it sounds like you're in the dip right now where you're still just figuring things out before you lock on and come out of it. But it sounds like you're doing the right thing. Maybe a bit more experimentation ahead.
Yeah, yeah. Well, last question for me would be, do you think my offer is specific enough or do you think it's a little bit too broad? Because it's basically, I'll help you gain 10,000 followers to X your business revenue within 90 days. Using the authority hacking method, which I personally use to gain 315,000 Instagram followers in 365 days. Do you think that's maybe a little bit too broad in terms of like everyone is helping people grow their personal brands or do you think it is specific when I'm talking about only Instagram?
It's. It's a good offer. Right. And it's good timing. My thoughts are it's a bloody red ocean for sure. Right. It's very hard to stand out, very hard to be believable, very hard to be the one that people choose. Right. And what else comes to mind? It would be more impactful if you helped specific, either people or specific types of businesses, then it would be more believable. Right. You know, I help people that sell school communities to blah blah, blah. That's going to be a bit more believable and trustworthy. Or I help info product businesses to blah blah, blah. That would be a bit more believable, you know, and a bit more high trust. So if you struggle with this, I would just niche down one layer and choose a bit more who you help and how and when and why. I think that will give you a bit more of an edge in the market.
I do have some school communities of my own as well, so I think I could position it towards school community owners or maybe just target it towards like generally coaches and consultants maybe. I think I'll have to. I'll have to iterate with that a little bit and play around with it.
I guess you do have to tweak this stuff over time. We are still tweaking our messaging as well. We've actually gone really specific recently where we only work with people already going making a specific amount. So we are still testing this ourselves. But it's just a case of iterating, listening to the market and just slowly going in the right direction over time. And you just get better and better as time goes on. Does that kind of help?
Yeah, that does. Thank you so much, Bill. Thank you so much.
Amazing. My pleasure. Cool. Well guys, we've got a few minutes before the main session starts, so I'll hop out of this zoom. We'll hop over to the main session zoom and I'll see you over there in just a minute. Okay guys, I'll see you over there. Go and jump in.
