Profitable Personal Brand Challenge – Day 5 – VIP Session (8pm Bali)

A recorded VIP Q&A session (YouTube) hosted by William Brown (Nov 7, 2025) where William answers live questions from participants (Jamie, Freeman Richards, Edward, Mohammed, Diego, etc.) about personal branding, content creation, pricing and packaging of high-ticket offers, audience growth tactics (YouTube/Instagram), lead generation funnels (VSLs, webinars, ads), and scaling a coaching/business. Specific recommendations include: start fresh brand accounts when needed; use authenticity and daily proof to build authority; webinars get fewer but higher-quality calls while VSLs get more volume; >£2k price points typically need a sales call; pricing examples mentioned (e.g., £15k course with 6 months mentoring, 2k and 4–5k programs); growth guarantee language ("10k new IG followers in 90 days or less") discussed for an Instagram service; content frameworks (hook→story→teach→CTA), posting cadences (YouTube 1–2/week; Instagram 1–2 reels/day), thumbnail/title testing timeline (~48 hours).

Hey, Nathan. What's up, my man? You okay?
Good, mate.
Yourself.
I apologize. The last couple of days I've been. I've been a bit crook, but also the. The time zones, not. Not optimal, but I've been following along. I've been making. I've been watching all the replays, both the VIP and the ga, and taking copious notes, so.
Nice.
Yeah, I am sorry to hear. Well, I. What's the word? Surprised, really, to sort of hear what the plans were for, for long term. I was like, oh, in terms of, you know, closing things down, it's. It's a. Temporarily or.
Yeah, well, dude, it's. It's only kind of acquisition that. That we're closing, so we're just stopping, letting people in, just for about one to three months. So it'll either be January or February or March. We. We're gonna reopen again. Honestly, dude, I just wanna. I just wanna stop grinding the bloody ax of every month, you know, and just work on the products, work with the customers and kind of enjoy my life a bit, you know?
Yeah, you. You've got enough people in the door. It's.
It's.
Let help the people that are in the door.
Yeah, yeah, exactly, mate. So We've got a YouTube video coming out on Monday which is going to like announce it and tell a story and.
Yeah.
So nervous to share that, but I mean, dude, sometimes you got to chill. Wow. You know?
Yeah, that's why this. This has been great because sort of where I'm at, starting from scratch and now we've had a couple of chats and things sort of like. Yeah, this is sort of going to be helpful for me to get me to a point where on some. Get some fast pound coming in the door.
Yeah.
Then I can be like in, you know, and in however long that takes. Things may have changed on your end or. And I can be like, hello.
Well, yeah, so 100, man. 100. Good to hear it, mate.
Yeah. But all the best for the next stage and.
Yeah, hopefully.
Yeah, I appreciate it, dude. I appreciate it. I was just thinking a few days ago, I was like, I wonder if I can do this for the next 50 years and how far we can scale, you know, so it's gonna be. It's gonna be a fun journey, mate, but good to. Good to have you as a part of the journey as well.
I'm freezing. I'm freezing up.
Yeah, you're back.
Not to worry.
Yeah, no worries, man.
Amazing. Right, well, guys, pop your questions in the. The zoom chat for me. If you have any? And we'll get started on these. I'm just gonna. It's actually a bit early. I'm just gonna give it a few minutes, let everybody join and then we'll will kick off.
Jamie, how's everything going with you, man? You okay? I'm well, mate. How are you? Yeah, I'm good. Yeah, I'm good. Can't complain. Yeah? Yeah, I'm working on the sort of info.
Info product side of my, my marketing agency. That's what I'm doing at the moment. Nice. Just because, like, I remember being in the program. Sorry, I'm pretty unwell. I remember being in the program a few months ago and it was like the. I mean, honestly, the most like helpful thing ever.
Learned so much from it. And I was just thinking, like, we're servicing clients and it's so intensive and there's so many clients that don't want to pay like done for you. Eight grand a month, sort of full ticket, right? Yeah. And they want help and they'll happily like do it themselves. They just want to learn. So that's what I'm trying to build out now on, on, on this business is that sort of info side. So even being in the program, you know, at the start of the year was. It's just super helpful to sort of quickly and easily build out, you know, I mean, hell yeah, all that stuff. So, yeah, this, this has been a great week, by the way. Super helpful. Appreciate that, brother. Appreciate that. Good to have you here as well. Thanks, man. Hell yeah, man. All right, Williams, sorry, sorry, interruption. Yeah, first of all, just wants to let you know that I'm here, but my camera is not working. Okay. Sorry for that. And secondly, there was some confusion in the chat. Somebody mentioned that you might not have, you might have joined later. Just checking. Do you see my questions if you scroll up in the, in the chat? Yeah. Hi, William, at all my questions today? That's the one. Awesome. Yeah. So you see it? Yeah, so it. Dude, sorted. I'll get to it, don't you worry. Thank you so much. And the good news is for those of you asking questions this week, hopefully you've got my invoice in your. Your email inbox has been 100 per question. All right? So don't forget to get that paid for me. Thank you. Appreciate that.
I'm joking. I'm only joking. Right, cool. Well, guys, I'm just gonna have a, have a quick bathroom break. I'll be 60 seconds and. And then we'll dive straight in. All right?
Okie. Dokie. Right, let's get into it. Let's see what you guys got for me today.
Okie dokie. Right, let's start here.
Brian. So, hi William. Today's question is I'll go like that with my brand. An account for trading and a personal account where I speak about discipline, mindset, sh in up the funnel ways. You have a cold audience. Okay, for the trading one, I'll open a brand new account, personal one instead. Can I use the one I currently have? Is it 2k followers? They're all friends, 50s girls. Be good for that account off ecosystem. It's good for everyone, but they'll never advance their trading one. My fear of starting from the existing one is I don't want the people engaging with my content on the personal accounts. But just support me will lead to the algorithms for me. And that's. That's true. That's exactly what will happen. Yeah. Any advice? How would you proceed? Keep the personal one, Create a brand new one, Brian. Start fresh. Start fresh, man. Yeah, yeah, thank you so much. Yeah, thanks so much. Yeah, yeah, no worries. Because like I am, I have the fear that, you know, a lot of people can engage with me because maybe our friends, but you know, I don't think they will buy from me or even like that audience that I don't want to waste because it said these 2k people there will 100 be possible buyers, but I will just directly contact them and like try to sell them, you know, through some messages and all these things because I think that, you know, most of them being like 50, 60% girls, you know, I don't think it would be useful for my business. Agreed, mate, agreed. Thank you so much, William. Yeah, no worries mate, no worries. Okay, Nitish, what are some general ways to show our authority in a VSL without social proof to get our first few high ticket clients? So one way is actually the way that you come across. So usually you can tell when someone knows what they're talking about. It's hard to fake being genuine and authentic. Right. When you really know what you're talking about, you have this air. So honestly, one way to come across with authority is actually the unfable way of being real and genuine in the way that you talk and what you say and how you say what you say. Right, that's, that's one way that, that is actually a bit of an edge because you just can't fake that genuineness. Another way is to share your past, your accolades, anything that you've done that you can talk about. Improve any projects that you've crushed, anything that you've done yourself, awards that you've won, press articles that you've been in, stuff like that without, without social proof, I mean, how can you have authority without social proof? You know.
What do you think, Nitish? So I think we can include something that we have already done to ourselves, like the results that I have got myself. That can be some sort of proof, right? Because everyone starts from zero. Not everyone starts with huge number of clients. Right? Like, so how did you get your first client? Well, I'm very curious because when you first started out, you would have not had any experience, right? So what did you do to build that trust and show your authority when you are a beginner yourself? Yeah, dude, that's a, that's actually the best way to approach this question. So, so what I first did was back when I was trading full time, all that I did was I had a Twitter account, now an X account. And every day I would, honestly, I would tweet to cure boredom and keep myself busy. So I would talk about the markets, share my trades, where I was getting in, what my plans were, where I was getting out, where when I closed out trades, I would post them and I would post the exact prices that I bought and sold, roughly how much I, I was making. And honestly, I didn't know, like, I never intended on doing education. I, I, I wanted to be a professional trader.
So I didn't even, I just really did it to fill my time and kind of to, to show off a bit and build friendships and connections and a bit of a kind of audience, I guess. And dude, I only had about 300 followers. I had a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny audience. And after about eight or nine months of doing that, some random guy messaged me and he was like, hey, Will, I found your Twitter. I've been following your tweets and it looks like you're doing pretty well. Is there any way that I could please pay you to, to help me? And that was my first ever consulting customer. So the way that I built authority was just showing and proving live every single day that I could do it. And I was doing it and just proved it.
Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, no worries, man. No worries. And that's all I do nowadays as well with the YouTube channel. I just talk about everything that I do and, and, and that I've learned and stuff. And people kind of find it really. So that's a good way to approach it. Freeman. Hey, William Freeman here. My mentor is Medi. I Know you're at the Mastermind in Dubai. Yep, yep. Can't wait to speak, man. It's going to be very fun. Are you coming to the Mastermind, Freeman?
No, unfortunately, I can't make it, but I'm in Dubai in December. 1st of December, for a few weeks. Not gonna make it.
Okay, mate. Okay. Not. Not to worry. We'll miss you.
But.
But next time. Next time.
Definitely, definitely.
I'm an Airbnb coach with an extensive amount of property experience and success, but there's so many people are coming to the market. And also my Instagram account has been sh. Now, but I can't even do outreach or ads because they get a popup message saying, yeah, yeah, yeah, I've seen that. Yeah. So kind of stumped out. Not sure if I should pivot. Okay. Okay. Well.
I. I wouldn't necessarily rush to pivot because it's a really good offer and a really good market. So you're good there. Could you not. Do you have a YouTube channel?
Yeah, I recently set up a YouTube channel about six weeks ago that's doing okay.
So YouTube I would do, which will definitely work over time. LinkedIn I would do, which will definitely work over time. Could you set up a new Instagram, do you think, without too much trouble?
I was thinking that I did look at a guy who basically made Instagram accounts. I mean, like, and then sort of did like, loads of outreach. But then what happened was people were a bit hesitant because they look like a. Like a bit scammy because I had the two accounts, my verified Insta, and then I had my new Insta, which only had like a few hundred followers. And they also quickly got banned as well, because maybe I think I was just doing a bit too much outreach. I mean, about 50 to 100 dms a day.
Too aggressive.
I think so, too.
Too hungry?
I think so, yeah.
Well, that's not a bad thing. Well, look. I mean, look at what you can do. You can go to YouTube. You're doing that. You can go to LinkedIn. Hopefully. You're going to do that.
You could. I mean, it's funny. I've actually got an Airbnb coach client right now. They're doing about. I can say their numbers because I'm not going to say their names. They're doing about 140amonth pounds.
Most of their traffic comes from YouTube and paid Facebook ads, Facebook specific. So maybe you could do that because all they're doing is Facebook ads to a VSL to a call.
Okay. I have been looking at Webinars because my Instagram's been shadow band for about eight weeks. So like it, it really stumps my views and my reels. So I started doing webinars. So I've been doing paid ads to a webinar landing pain register. And I've got about, so far, about 100 people so far signed up.
Wow.
Ahead of the webinar. So that's what I've been looking to do and just mass sell because I can't do outreach. And that's why I also made a YouTube channel as well, because I actually can't do outreach. But I know you used to do webinars a bit. I don't know if you still think that they're the most like effective form of or use of a sales tool.
Effectively, webinars still work. Well, yeah. I mean there's kind of, there's two options. VSL to a call, webinar to a call. Webinars will get you less calls, but better quality. VSLs will get you more calls but less quality. So they're pretty much the same road. Really.
Yeah. Okay. And just so last sort of part B with the webinar, I'm in two minds or whether after the training and the support on the webinar, should I just sort of do a self checkout, drop the stripe link, or should it be a link to booking a call? Because I'm in two months. I've been speaking to you for the last 90 minutes. How much warmer, how much more convincing do you need to get on a call with my closer or with myself? Now I'm trying to close you on the offer. So I'm a bit split in between that.
Yeah, dude, I, I completely know where you're coming from. So the thing that will make you the most money is going to booking a call.
Right.
The reason? Well, there's a few reasons, but the main reason is like what, what's your price, by the way?
The fast track program. And they're basically the same program, but just less time of myself is 2K. And the higher or the longer one for six months is 5K or 4 to 5K.
Right. Okay. Okay. So you can sell up to about 2k from a sales page without a call. Right. Anything above 2k especially, you know, 4, 5, 6, you need a sales call. Right?
Okay.
Because some people will buy 5k from webinar. Some will, absolutely. But a lot of people won't because before you send someone five grand, you kind of need to speak to a human personally.
Yeah, agreed.
It's Just, just the, just the human trust factor, you know.
Agreed. Okay. No thanks man.
No worries.
I think I'm gonna action that. Thank you.
Amazing. Amazing. Plus the al. Really good. Okay, Edward is up next, so. Hi Will. Enjoying the webinars? Brilliant. Good. I'm a qualified chartered surveyor, member of the Ricks. Yep. Property developer and insurance expert. 30 years experience. Put a full coaching course together starting with finding the right site, right the way through to planning, development and sales. Nice. There are plenty of case studies and examples of where we've messed up and cost us thousands. Lots of tips to guide us and have a profitable risk averse development strategy. I'm about to launch this high ticket course. I'm proposing 15 grand for the course and five months mentoring with my qualifications and experience. They sound too cheap, too short and too long. Yeah, 15k is a really nice price. Really nice price. I would. So, so my question for you, Edward, how long do people need to get results? Like three months, six months, five months.
Yeah. Hi Will. I'd probably say, yeah, it's going to be six months probably. Yeah, you can learn, you learn a lot in three months. But six months, you need that mentoring, you need that hand holding and be given the, you know, given that support.
Yes.
My camera keeps going off but.
But yeah, I was just wondering whether you felt the price was, was about right for, for that skill set because I've got an awful lot of experience in this area and can sort out an awful lot of problems.
Yeah. I mean, dude, considering your depth of experience and knowledge. I mean talk about bloody authority. My God, there couldn't be more authority. So I think I would do 15k for six months.
Okay. Yeah, that's. That was my initial thought and I thought well, do I reduce it slightly? But it doesn't make any difference to me. But that would be. Yeah, that would be really useful.
Yeah. Yeah. Fantastic. There you go, mate. Yeah, awesome.
And how many calls would that be? One call a week with them? Would that be. Would be looking to do a group session or what would you say? Because it's very much a personal tailored service for those individual clients and to make sure they learn as much as possible and can get ahead in the business.
Yeah. Well, how much or really how little support would they need in order to get the results? So would they need one call a week? Would they not? Would they need a community? Would they not? Would they need chat? Would they not? What do you think?
I would probably say. I think I'd probably offer one call a week. I think that'd Be a good starting place and if that's too much, then we can move on from there, basically.
Yeah, yeah, I would do, I think six months.
One 30 minute call per week.
Yeah.
Right. And just a question for you. How far do you want to scale this in terms of monthly revenue?
Well, there's a very, there's a very good question. You're.
I suppose if we got at that level, if we've got, if we got four to, four to six clients each month, that would be, that would be very, that would be very, very attractive.
Yeah, yeah. Like. So would you be happy with say 50amonth or would you want a bit more?
A bit more.
Yeah. 100 to be perfect.
Yeah, yeah, nice. Well, you, dude, 15k, you can do that like bloody no problem. If you build everything properly, like no problem at all. So 100k. So that would be, I mean, 15. Yeah, so. So my question then is, let's say you were taking on 6, 7, 8 clients a month, right. That's going to be say 7, 14, 21. So.
And to be honest, not everybody's going to use all of the coals anyway as well. Right. You know, I'm just thinking about when you're going to run into that bottleneck of too many one to ones, you know, but.
Well then, but then I think you could probably look to dilute, dilute it in terms of. You could just, you could just be offering the, the, the course to them at a lower rate. So they are basically self, you know, self, self teaching as opposed to having the, the mentoring.
That's very true. That's very true. We're solving a problem that is not even a problem yet. So let's make it a problem first.
Yeah, exactly. Okay, that's really useful. That's really encouraging. Thank you.
Yeah, no worries. My pleasure to help me. Any other thoughts or questions or are you feeling set?
No, if I've got any other questions, I'll come back to you, I'll drop you an email. But that's really, that's really helpful guidance because I've got a lot of, a lot of experience in this area and can sort out a lot of issues.
Brilliant, mate, brilliant. Go in scale to 100amonth. Okay.
I'll call you when I've done it.
All right.
Please bloody do, please bloody do. Love it, man.
Right, so who's next? Nitesh? We've talked about that one, Mohammed. But I'm torn between two options for my office statement. I help school based communities, consultants and entrepreneurs gain 10,000 Instagram followers. And generate daily inbound interest from high ticket clients, all while working just one day a week. That, that doesn't sound believable to me. Using the authority hacking system, that helped me grow to 315k followers in 12 months. Even if you think your audience isn't on Instagram. So that's number one. Number two, we help coaches, consultants and founders add 10,000 Instagram followers and 2X their business rev, only working once a week using the authority hacking framework, which I used to get. So is this they have to work once a week to grow their Instagram, right?
Yeah. So essentially the, the idea is they only have to sit down once a week to basically record their content and we handle the rest for them. So the editing, the scripting, we handle all of that for them. They just have to batch record one day a week and just record like 5, 6 reels which we've basically scripted for them. They do that part. The rest of it is basically handled for them.
Cool. Cool. I would reword this very slightly. So I would say. Well, I like the first one. Well, I mean, so just to check, you want to only work with school based coaches and consultants only.
Yeah. So initially my idea was to only work with like courses consultants and founders as a whole. But when I talked to you on probably day two, you said maybe you should niche this down a little bit more. So. So you suggested that maybe go for school community owners or maybe info product sellers. So I decided that because I personally have like two school communities of my own as well and I've grown them pretty sizably. So maybe I could position this towards school community owners.
True, true. So let me read these again. So founders out in the followers 2x their business rev, it's working only once a week in the authority hacking framework. Okay. And school based coaches, consultants and entrepreneurs in 10,000 followers and generate daily amount interest.
From high ticket clients. I would make that stronger. So I would say gain 10,000 Instagram followers and generate.
A flood.
Wait, is it. But are they taking calls though? Do they take calls to close people into their program? They do, don't they?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they do. We, to put it a little bit simpler, we basically help school community owners grow their Instagram.
Yeah.
So they'll have to take the calls for them. They'll have to take to take the calls themselves. They, they'll do. They'll have to do the setting themselves. We're going to be handling the strategy, the editing, the scripting, all of that part, the creative part for them.
Yeah. 100 I'm just gonna get my notes. Give me a sec. So I saw have a high ticket, school.
Program, school based program will get you 10k new IG followers.
And let me just make this bigger. There we go. Right. Let me concentrate. So have a high ticket, school based course or coaching program. We'll get you 10k new followers in. In how long followers. How long does it take to get the 10k followers, would you say?
I'm pretty confident we can get them that in 90 days easily.
We'll get you 10k new IG followers in 90 days or less, flooding your.
Business with leads, calls and high ticket sales using.
Our authority hacking king system or you don't pay. Okay, I'm just making this up, by the way. Help me grow even if you think your audience isn't on Instagram.
I do. I like that actually. That's good. I'm gonna add that in. Or you don't pay.
And then in brackets.
Brackets.
Cool. Let me see if I can paste this in. Everyone right. Have a high ticket, school based course or coaching program. We'll get you 10k new IG followers in 90 days.
90 days.
Or less. Flooding your business with leads, calls and high ticket sales using our authority hacking system. Or you don't pay.
Even if you.
Yes, Even if you think your audience isn't on Instagram.
Boom.
That's what I would run with.
That's all it. That's all it.
Thank. Thank you so much for the. For this, Will. And an additional question, it's a little bit of a short one would be as for my pricing. So what the idea which I had was to basically give them two options on the calls and that would be a do it with you and do it for you in. That idea was. And I'd love to hear your take on this as well, my idea was to sell them a do it with you program for 8k for 90 days and a do it for you program for 12k for 90 days. So my question is, if, if I were to introduce a payment plan into this.
Would I be charging them 3k per month or how would I break that up? Because initially my idea was because the clients that I have right now, they're paying me 5k per month. So that's how I basically came to the 12k price point, that 5k 5k 5k and maybe give them a little bit off for paying in full. So 12k for 90 days. Would you. Would you give. Give them that amount offer? Would you just charge 15k up front?
Sorry, mate, just Just give me a second. I've just got someone trying to get in that can't bloody get in. So sorry about this.
No worries, no worries.
Let me come back up to the top. Right. Sorry, brother. Just ask me that one more time so I can give you the best answer.
Okay, so right now, the clients, which I have right now, they do it for you clients, and they're paying me 5k per month. I decided that maybe I should, you know, also introduce a paid in full option. So I was thinking, should I charge them 15k or should I charge them 12k a little bit lower for basically paying in full. I don't know how you, how you do it. I'm a little bit confused about that. So I'd love to hear your take on it as well and ask will they do it with you? It's basically 3k per month. So I was thinking maybe charge them 8k if they paid in full. So are you supposed to offer them that discount if they pay in full, or are you just supposed to charge them the same amount that spans out in that time frame?
Got it, man. Got it, got it, got it. Now you get to decide because it's your business, right? So technically you can do whatever you want. You can charge whatever you want and do whatever terms you want, right? Technically. Okay, but so now for us, our thing is billed by the month only, right? And there are no payment plans because the fee is a payment plan technically, right, because it's billed by the month. So you can't split a monthly payment into months. Right?
But what I would suggest for programs that are more like, you know, three months program, six month program, something like that, I would add interest to a payment plan to incentivize people to pay in full, or else there's no reason to pay in full, for God's sakes. You know, if you can just break it up, you might as well break it up because it's just better for cash flow, you know? So that's what I would suggest. So let's say your program was 12k, for example. I would either do. Right, it's 12k for however long, but if you pay in full, it's 10.
Right? Or you could do, right, it's 14k for however long, but if you pay in full, it's 12. Or you can split it across up to three months or six months or something like that. And that frame where you say a higher price then. But actually if you're paying full, it's only lower. It's quite exciting for the Customer, it's like, oh, hell yeah, well I'll just pay in full then and get the discount. So it's better for the customer. And it's also better for you if they choose a payment plan as well because you're, you're getting that interest, which is better for, for everyone, you know.
Yeah, for sure, for sure. This was super helpful. Thank you so much for your help.
Well, yeah, no. Big pleasure, man. My pleasure. Awesome. Brilliant. Right, any other thoughts or questions, dude, or are you feeling set?
I'm set for now, thanks, Will.
Nice. Sorted, man. Right, who's up next? Diego, would you share market analysis for my ICP6 second figure traders that need help to time top and bottoms take profits are just methods in the strategy I use and teach in my offer. Yeah, I would do analysis. Right, because then they'll feel like they're learning and they are learning, but you're not going to give them. It's like for example, when you're trying to sell a house, you show someone around the house so they can see it first.
Right.
And that's what analysis is. That's what I used to do back in the day. I used to just share what I was doing and basically show people around the that that they were interested in buying. Right. So that's a really great thing to do. And to keep consistency in each video, would it be wise to start wearing glasses instead of contacts and always wear a white dress shirt? Always wear shirts or polos, obviously. Okay. She's a webcam. Yeah, I, I would do that. I am a big fan of building continuity through how you look because it can give you that recognizable edge, you know, So I, I would do that. Diego. Yes.
All good.
Looks like he's dropped off apparently.
No, you're muted. Oh, you can hear me. Thank you.
So two years ago I started with my private group sharing trades and then I got another guy, which is the lower time frame. I do the higher time frame analysis.
And that's where I realized, okay, a lot of people that have six, seven figures, they like more my approach, they don't do a lot of trades, they just invest. Basically they want to know the higher time frame, what's going on next year and so on. And we sell this for 147amonth. But I don't show that on my personal brand account on YouTube. This is more off topic, but I would add it to the mentorship. But would you sell it for much more? Because I, I basically share everything there, all my thoughts daily and, and so on.
So what so you're thinking of charging extra for that additional item.
Or just.
Included in the mentorship offer you get?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because it's just more. It's better for the. Again, it's better for the customer. Yeah. Okay. Perfect. Cool.
Yeah.
Nice, man, nice. And the, the clothing thing is a good thing to think about as well because it's subtle, but it does give you an edge.
You know. Good. Really good, mate. Some good questions there. Good thoughts. Sebastian, got some questions regarding my plan and if you would change anything. I don't know what your plan is. You're gonna have to tell me, Sebastian.
Yes, sir. I mean, that's why I'm here.
I mean, as of right now, the goal is just to. Before even probably hopping into plan, probably should ask this. Just a quick recap. My audience essentially are any, any person who works online, agency owner, setter, closer, freelancer, whatever, who makes between 5 to 20k a month, is sick of their life right now and they want something more scalable. And I want to get them over into info.
Something that I've been noticing in the space is also with your channel that majority of the people have the YouTube videos focused on that specific business model. For example, you with if it would make 10k. Again, this is the business model I would go with. This is how I make that business model X amount of money. So my question is, would you also in this specific case make, I would say 70 or something like that? All the YouTube videos focus just in this specific business model and the concept itself or how would you structure the content about it?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Now, to get someone to buy from you, there's three things that you have to do. You have to get them to trust you. You have to get them to trust that your business model and your way of what you do is, is the right one for them. And then you have to sell them on booking a call and actually buying your product and believing your product will actually get them that result or outcome. So that's what your content is often going to be about. It's. Your content is to get people to trust you, to sell people on why your method is the best and to push people into the funnel to buy your product which is also the best and make them believe that. Right? Yeah. So that's, that's all that I'm doing on my YouTube channel really is just proving why you should trust me, proving that info businesses are the best in the way that I run them and, and pulling you into the funnel.
Okay, how would you make it that it's not attracting too broad because ideal case, it would say, look, if you're an agency owner and you want to pivot into a high leverage business model, this is what you should do. But that's not the YouTube title. I feel a little bit that I attract too broad of an audience. If I do titles like that, would you say that's not a problem?
Just tell me that that's like one. An example of a title.
For example, I mean your YouTube video. If I would make come up with 10k per month again, wouldn't you say if you focus too much on this that you're getting, let's say, a little bit more unqualified people through that or what are your thoughts on it?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, man. One of my favorite examples of this is do you know who Nero Knowledge is?
Yeah, of course.
Yeah, yeah. So I don't know how many views he gets a month. I think he averages maybe 70 or 80,000 views per video. So maybe maybe half a million views a month, something like that. And he makes. As far as. I wonder if I'm allowed to share this.
Right? I'm going to give you a different example because I don't want to get in trouble. All right. And share.
Share people's numbers, right?
So let's just say I know someone who gets a lot of views not near our knowledge, right? It's someone else and they get a lot of views. And dude, like they close 0.01% of those people. Let's say they get a hundred thousand views. Me, they close like seven people a month. But it's such a high price that they make a lot of money, right? What, what I'm trying to say is there's two ways to go. Massive volume, to capture everybody and just sell to a few people for a high price. Or very niche. Like I'm going now where you barely get any views, but all the viewers are very quality, you know, either lots of views but most views are shit or very few views, but all the views are very good. Those are the two ways. And you can't really mix them, to be honest. If you start trying to mix, you know, people that watch broad videos don't watch specific. People that watch specific don't watch broad. So you've got to pick your battle, you know?
Yeah, okay, that makes sense. My plan right now is to post anywhere between like one to three YouTube videos per week.
And also I know there's a big kind of like trend in the space where people are doing split Tests. So I'm split testing to put up one YouTube video then have like three thumbnails and three different titles. Do you split test them as well or.
So or wouldn't. Would you advise against that?
Yeah, yeah. So dude, like what's the simplest way to explain this? Yeah, so basically what we do, we when we upload a video we give it about 48 hours and then if it's doing quite then we will change the title after 48 hours and if it's not doing well 48 hours later we will change it one more time. And that's pretty much where we leave it. So for every video, if it does well, we leave it. If it doesn't, we'll play with it a little bit. Title thumbnail over the week. But if we can't crack it by the end of the week, we. We just let it be. Okay.
Okay.
Yeah, maybe I'm over testing here especially on my view range. I'm currently in between like 52. I mean my highest videos has. Has one 8k views. So maybe I'm over complicating things here too early on. I think so yeah, it could be. So I have this. So let's say I have three videos a week. My goal will be I do one opportunity switch meaning hey, I'm explaining the business model where it's all about how it works from a conceptual standpoint. One I want to focus on the pain point of the audience and one answering a question with would you say that's sufficient that would you direct in any of these specific.
Titles more, more in depth?
What you're scared of being too specific?
Maybe, maybe because I guess the best opportunity switch that's an easier one. I can for example have a video that's like the, the most high leverage business model in 20, 25, 26 that did well or like other ones don't sell Eiha Eih can sell this instead. Things like that which just like attracts this broader market which gets views but then the other ones maybe are too specific. But I guess I want to go more specific route because it just attracts more qualified of an audience. But I'm wondering if I'm mixing it too much.
Well that is true. More specific is usually better quality. But just describe to me like your ideal avatar.
Ideal avatar is a guy in the SMMA closing set or freelance space, whatever doing between 5 to 15k per month making some money but they just can't scale since years. They don't do what they enjoy, they don't travel the world and they Just want to have a more high leverage business opportunity where enjoy what they do. And I want to position the info essentially selling instead of their service, selling it as consulting to their audience and building that audience. So very similar to you. This is the one part of it. And the other part is they could monetize existing creators, audiences as well. That's the ideal audience.
Okay, okay, got it. Have you got like a sheet where you've designed their hopes, their fears, their dreams, their blockers, their problems, all this.
I've written it down on a piece of paper so I couldn't show it to you visually. But like I have it written down.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I, I just want to make sure. Yeah. So whenever you make a video, this is what I do. Whenever I make a video, I've got this one person in my head and I'm always like, would this help them? Number one. And when I make it, I pretend that I'm talking to them. That really, really, really helps to make the videos direct and genuine. Literally before I press record, I get them in my head and I'm almost like they're there and I'm talking to them and making the video for them. And sometimes I even say things like, now, dude, I know what you're thinking. You know, you're thinking this, but don't worry because actually, and I, I literally try and talk to them and that makes a big difference if you can do that. And usually when people get in, in content, it's because they don't really have a clue who, who they're talking to, you know, and they're, they're trying to speak to seven different people and that then they don't speak to any sort of. If I could give you some advice, think of it. One, it can be a past customer. Mine is a past customer of mine who is a great customer. So maybe think of a past customer who was really great, who's like the ideal one that you would want to work with again and again and just think, what, where are they? What do they need help with? What keeps them up at night? What are they stuck on? You know, and just make videos about that for that person and you'll make great content, man.
Love that. I appreciate that. My goal is, I mean I, I will add a vsl, I'll stick to the weekly uploads, make sure to have my YouTube videos focused on that. And I won't start yet with the VSL ads to VSL Funnel, but I'm planning to run messenger ads to my Instagram Instagram also posting short form content. Would you say that's a sufficient plan?
Say that one more time. You just cut out there for a second. I want to make sure that I get it right.
Oh, my bad.
Okay.
Yeah.
So my plan, this is now when we come back to the original question, my plan is to post anywhere between like one to three YouTube videos per week on that specific avatar. Creative ESL, link it in my bio, have every single day on my Instagram. I have reels and then I want to launch messenger ads around like $50 a day to 100 a day in terms of ads and see what comes out of it. Would you do anything different or.
That is pretty much spot on. I wouldn't do three a week. I would do one or two.
Okay.
YouTube a week. Link to the BSL. Let people go through to the calendar. Thank you. Call one or two reels a day on Instagram. Do the selfie strategy. Anyone that engages or follows outbound them, chat them and try and set them. Smash the calls. You're going to run profile ads to get followers to drive the outbound. Eventually you can run retargeting. Eventually you can run cold.
Yeah.
And. Yeah, that's it. And just track your metrics and make sure everything's optimized.
Perfect.
Appreciate it.
Boom. No worries, man. My pleasure. Good stuff. Good stuff. Right? What's this? Let me see this one. Trying the ME post. Okay, cool.
Right?
No worries. Right, Masai, so how do you select a niche and define your ICP slash avatar? Okay, let's talk about this one first. So I mean, usually people's niche comes from just what they've done in the past and what they're good at. Really? What's your niche?
Dude.
I'm working with, with small law firms, but I feel like my niche may be a bit too broad and also kind of what you just said. I have a, like a perfect client that I'm working with now and if I can get everyone to be like him, then that would, that would be perfect for me. So I think in you talking to Sebastian, you kind of answered a lot of what all. Pretty much all my questions were before.
Nice. Easy as that.
Perfect. But I do want to ask one thing, though.
Yeah, sure.
How would you, how would you find out what their, their main pain points are? Obviously you'd ask them. Right. But then from there, how do you, how do you go about building a product that can really solve like that main pain point for them? How do you think about that kind of stuff?
Yeah, well, not, not every Time, but most times out of 10, when people start these businesses, it's because they've done something or achieved something and they're selling their experience back to the people at the start of their journey, you know, so if someone's a professional trader, they teach old traders to get better and get where they are. So usually you just look back at your old self and be like, well, where was I? What was I thinking? What was I doing? What was I not doing? What didn't I know? And then you just build a program that would help them get to where you are. Right. If you couldn't do that, you'd really have to take your best guess. You know, sometimes you've just got to take like the most well informed guess that you possibly can and then put some customers through, see how it goes, you know, if there's anything bad, sort it out, put some more customers through. You know, this is why I'm closing the business, is to just work on the product to make it better before we relaunch, you know, so I'm still doing this after eight years.
Yeah, got it. And then I would say one, one more thing because I guess my situation is a little bit different because I'm serving small law firms, but I was never a lawyer or law firm.
Right.
So do you have any advice in terms of going about what would be market research and, and figuring out from not having been in their position, how I could understand what their problems and pain points are?
Yeah, yeah, definitely, ma'. Am. So try and find a place online where they talk, where lawyers talk. Right. Might be Reddit, might be Quora, might be some special lawyer forum or something like that, and get in there and look at the threads, look at the comments, look at the replies message. Some of them do the investigation, look at YouTube videos they might watch, look at the comments, what are people saying and asking, like that kind of thing. Go and find where they are and look at what they're doing and saying. And also you could probably pay some of them for their time and just be like, hey, I'm just doing some market research. I really love what you do. Get that ego going a bit and just give them a hundred dollars for fifteen minutes, thirty minutes or some like that, and people like talking about themselves so they'll, they'll feel good about doing it anyway. Yeah, Cool.
Thank you, man.
Pleasure. Pleasure to help, dude. Amazing. All right, what else we got?
Method.
So how would you do Your method? Using YouTube on a real estate brokerage in Switzerland. German. But how do you decide on which language you use? If you use German, it will tie you down to them and you can't grow more than that. Or will auto dub. Yeah, to be honest, dude, auto dub. YouTube is putting it in loads of languages now, so I don't think that matters anymore. Which is one good AI thing, which is going to open up content to the world, which is nice. How would you do your method using YouTube? Well, my method, I mean, just making raw, real problem based content for the avatar and pushing them into a funnel, really? Diego? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Makes sense.
Yeah. Cool, cool. Okay, Jermaine, quick question. When you record your long raw videos, how do you stay on point so long? I sometimes lose my train of thought or my sentence flow isn't as clean. Maybe because English is my first language. Do you follow any kind of framework or is it, what, natural because you are basically rehearsing your video for a whole week in your head or is it just practice and repetition? So I actually don't really know. I'm just good at talking for a long period of time. Really. Like, I'm just very skilled in talking nonsense for an extended period of time. No, seriously though, like, I think it's because, because I have done this for so long, I just know it so well and I can just talk about it for so long so easily because it's just so in my goddamn head by now for eight years of info, business stuff. And I don't know, I just, just one thing feeds into the next really. Sometimes I do stumble, sometimes I do pause and like I was making a video today and after about 15 minutes I was making a point and I was thinking in my head, oh, I've just said the wrong thing. Then I paused and corrected myself. But I left it in because it makes the video more genuine anyway, you know, because like mistakes are good sometimes. So don't be scared to say something wrong. Don't be scared to pause, don't be scared to think, don't be scared to look away. You know, that's what makes it genuine. But honestly, for me, I think it's just practice and time. You know, just practice in time is what has allowed me to, to talk. Okay. Without a script kind of thing.
Okay, yeah, because with Expert Secrets, for example, he Russell talks about, yeah, you have to have a hook, then a backstory and then some sort of framework. And when I watch your videos, it also looks like you naturally follow framework with setting things up and then, yeah, the story just adds up.
And yeah, I, I have something in my notes. Let me just Have a look if I've still got this because. Okay, let me see. Prince. One challenge.
I wonder if it's in my deleted. Let me have a look if you haven't heard me.
Yes, it is. Got it. Yeah. So, dude, I don't follow a framework, but when I was making a video a few weeks ago, I was watching it back and I was like, I always seem to do the same thing, but I don't do it on purpose. And I wrote it down in my notes and I wrote down hook and promise, relatable story, teach something, give a call to action.
Yeah, awesome.
You know, I. I just kind of realized, like, I was watching my video, I was like, I think I keep doing this by accident. And then I kind of wrote it down like a system. So that's what I would recommend. You open with a hook and make them a promise. Then you tell a story about what you're going to talk about. Then you get into the teaching, and then you do a call to action and end the video.
Yeah, awesome. Also with the teaching part, like, how do you make sure that you're not giving too much or too little? Because if I basically tell them how to make those videos. Exactly. Then there's no reason of joining the program.
Exactly, exactly. Well, I just teach parts and concepts about. Because business is like a massive machine. There's so many parts, you know, it would be impossible to teach it all. What's your kind of niche and what you teach?
Again, dude, I'm doing the YouTube shorts and then we will target the nine to fivers to also make those transformative shorts to get into. Into the YouTube Partner Program, basically.
Yeah, yeah. So one thing that you could make a video on is storytelling. And you could say, listen, if you want to make amazing reels, you need to learn how to tell stories. And in this video, I'm going to share three keys, three key things that make great stories. Right now you can teach them storytelling, and that's going to be very valuable. And it relates to content. But that's not your actual strategy to do what you need to do to get results. Right. It's like a component. It's an idea. It's a part of what you do that makes.
Yeah, because yeah, I basically do faceless videos. So when I see something doing really well, I make it better. And that's basically the strategy. But if I tell them to do that, then they can actually basically already do it. So.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. So just write down the things that they would need to do, the things that they would need to know the concepts, they need to understand and share all of that, but not the actual black and white strategy.
Okay, and then one last question. When these online businesses always forward you to a call, and I never see those high ticket prices, like, what's the reason for that? Do not put it in your VSL or to mention it in your YouTube videos, because in your, your long form videos where you do those Bali or whatever meetings with people in real life, you do share those. So if people really look into your videos, they do see the pricing.
Yeah. Well, you've got to be, you've got to pay close attention, right? So I, I do give them away here and there. But the reason that you should, should really hide prices. And the reason that most people hide prices is because, right, most humans are not good at making decisions. That's why they're not where they want to be in life. Right? And humans get scared off by things. So if I told someone, right, like my program's 15 grand, well, all that their brain hears is 15k, I am giving away 15k. No thanks.
Right, yeah.
And that's the reason for a sales call. Because on a sales call you can say, first, this is the problem of solving. This is the value we're giving you. This is why you would need this. This is where you're going to go. This is blah, blah. You build the case for the value and then you say, and for that whole journey and transformation, it's 15k. Right? And you can't do that without a sales call. So that's why you need a sales call and that's why you don't share the price.
Okay, perfect. Then I know not to share the price. Thank you.
Yeah. All of that to say just don't share the price. Basically. Yeah.
Perfect. Thanks, man.
Awesome, dude. No worries. All right, I'm just going to do one more. Freeman, how do you think I can get around the shadow ban on Instagram? You mentioned you've seen it before. I've not done any outreach for two months like I mentioned.
Dude, to be honest, I actually don't know how to get on shadow band. That's one thing that I don't know. So unfortunately, I can't with integrity, give you an answer to that. Also, part two, cheeky one. Your current Airbnb coach client is a lot of that through paid ads to follow a message. That is paid Facebook ads to a VSL video. So add. Add to vsl.
Okay.
And is that specifically on, sorry, Facebook or like when you say Facebook, you mean meta As a whole. So that's inclusive for Instagram or just explicitly on Facebook?
On both.
Oh, cool. Thank you. Yeah, thank you.
Well, if you don't mind, I actually do know someone who gets rid of shadow bands, so. Freeman help with that? I can refer him to. To that person.
Yeah, drop me a message, please. Or Instagram, but my first name, Freeman Richards.
Done.
Thank you.
Nice, nice. That's really helpful. Yeah, I. I knew that there was some people out there. Let me just make sure that you guys have connected. Do you want to swap numbers or swap Instagram or something?
Yeah, you might.
Might just want to just post your Instagram in the chat or something.
I'll put a link to my Instagram now.
Yeah, Sorted, ma'. Am. Sorted. I'll just let you do that so that you're all good to go.
Right, what else we got in here? How many times should I into post. I'll just answer this just, just before we hop off and into the main session. So, Nathan, just to answer your question, dude, when starting a new Instagram, how many times should I aim to post per week? I would do two reels per day.
Right. And just watch the. There's a training in. In my training program, Nathan, where I show you how to make your Instagram look like a business card. Got you.
Okay.
I haven't seen that, but I'll. I'll, I'll look at that one.
Appreciate it.
Sorted, mate. No worries. Right, well, guys, good to see you as always. And it's time to hop over to the main session now, so I will see you over there in just a second. I'm just going to make sure that the link is in the Facebook and let's crush the final day and end with the main session. I'll see you over there.
Okay, let's do it. Let's get over there.
