Why normal people are blowing up on youtube in 2025

Will shows how ordinary people are making $600k+ monthly on YouTube by posting raw, unedited talking-head videos in niches like fitness, accounting, and real estate. The strategy: pick a problem to solve, post regularly, link a sales page in the description, and sell coaching calls. He claims the algorithm favors authenticity over production value, but warns the window won't stay open forever.

Hey guys, it's Will. And these are normal people who went from nothing to ten to fifty plus thousand dollars a month in literally just a few months doing something that anyone can do. Honestly, it seems like YouTube is kind of broken right now. If you just copy this method and follow these steps.
To start off, YouTube has made a change in the past year or two that seems very different. We've gone from the style of super edited retention, editing fast paced style videos to something that is very raw, very real. But it's also lowered the barrier to entry where you can come in now and have success pretty much right away without knowing how to edit, without having a ton of, I guess, skills, without being good on camera just by kind of copying what is clearly working right now. And I know that for a fact because this is what blew up my own channel from zero to 80,000 subscribers and two and a half million views in just over, just over a year. And it's what makes me as of last month, $580,200 in the last 30 days alone. So here's how it works. Step one is to decide what you want to talk about, right? And if you want to make the kind of money that I make and that my clients make here on YouTube, you're going to need to pick a niche where you can really help people and talk about something like.
A big hairy significant problem that people have. Because later you're going to want to offer some paid help, right? Which is where the money will actually come from. So the bigger the problem, and ideally the more people that have that problem, the better this is going to be for you. The more views you're able to get and obviously the more sales that you're able to make as well. And it can be anything, by the way. I've got clients who have. I laugh, but knitting channels how to.
Talk better and communicate better, which I should probably learn. Like my client Shackle Lockman's channel, Basketball fitness.
Buying and selling luxury watches, how to make money as an accountant. Channels like my client Kevin Bosselet, even things like that you would just never think would do well, like how to cut hair, how to buy and sell land. Channels like my client Olufemi Azure Stay's channel, right down to things like how to trade or how to do e commerce and resell products or how to do real estate or even things like manifestation channels like my client Nero Knowledge for example. And look, obviously I can't reveal how much money these people are individually making because frankly, I haven't asked their permission to even put them in this video. So I hope they don't mind. But I can say that it's 10,000 to 20,000amonth on the low end, right? And two of those people I just mentioned, one is making about 90,000amonth with his channel and his author, and the other is making just touching on $150,000 a month, all literally just making these raw, simple talking head videos, kind of like I'm doing right now as well, and selling some zoom calls or a coaching program to just a small fraction of their YouTube viewers. And I want to go deeper on this in just a second to really drive this point home. But if you're thinking, will, that is B.S. i don't believe you. Or you're thinking there is no way that a few simple, unedited talking head videos can make that kind of money. Well, let me just run you through the math, okay? Just to make this concrete and make it understandable. So let's take my client, Shako Lachman, who sells a $10,000 communication coaching program, typically for entrepreneurs, executives, C suites that those kinds of people, right?
His videos average a few thousand views each. Look at them. It's him in his living room at home with a whiteboard. There's no editing, there's no graphics. There's no script. There's no plan. And let's just say that he gets 1,000 views on a video, which is roughly what he's kind of averaging right now. And let's say that a tiny 0.1% of those viewers go on to buy, which is one sale. Well, at a $10,000 price point, that is $10,000 from one video. Let me say that again. 1,000 views. 999 people do not buy. One person does buy at a $10,000 price tag. So if he makes four videos a month, they all get just 1,000 views each and one single sale each. Well, that's $40,000 a month.
And he's not the only one. I could name literally 30, 40, 50 people doing the exact same thing in niches like hairdressing, fitness, trading, E Com. Hell, let's look at this channel, Nero Knowledge, as another kind of tangible, concrete example of this. So this guy is 23 years old, and he stands there in front of his whiteboard at home, similar to Shako. He talks, stops, uploads, gets over half a million views a month and makes six figures, actually multi six figures a month, selling his $25,000. How to manifest more money coaching service where he hops on zoom with people and gives them advice for an hour a week for eight weeks. That's his offer. And if you don't believe me, go and book a call to discuss the offer and you'll find that out for yourself. Shako's doing it, Nero's doing it, Jim is doing it, I'm doing it, Olafemi is doing it, Christian is doing it, Charlie is doing it, Cody is doing it, James is doing it. Why the hell are you not not also doing it too? Also, forget AdSense. AdSense revenue is for losers. Basically. If you think that you're ever going to get rich from Adsense, you're just not. You're just not looking at things the right way. Now, sure, some people blow up and they might make $10,000 or $50,000 or more from Adsense, right? But it's unsustainable, it's uncontrollable, it's unrealistic. It's just super up and down. It's just not the way to, to do things. If you want to make great money, that is not how you build a long lasting, stable, reliable income. Now, if you're watching this video, I'm going to presume that you want to create wealth, not a little piddly yo yo income like AdSense is. And to put this into context, right, and I'll put this on screen, I make about $1,000 a month from AdSense and I make almost $600,000 a month selling consulting. Which would you prefer, Right, Silly question. And coming back to Nero knowledge or any of the clients of mine that I talk about in this video today, the strategy is really simple. It really is. Make raw talking head videos, right? No editing, no script, no fancy thumbnails. Take a screenshot from the video itself for the thumbnail, keep it real. If you stutter, leave it in the video. If you mess up a word or a sentence, which I've done already, leave it in the video. If you have shit clothes or a bad haircut like me, right, Leave it in the bloody video. If you want to have a cappuccino whilst filming, leave it in the video, right? And then just write a text message, style title, upload it.
Done. Don't overthink this stuff, because if you overthink that damages how real the video is, right? But that's how easy it is. Anyone can do this. But, and this is a big but, if you want to make money like real money, you've got to have an offer. This is the secret that most people don't know how to do, right? So here is how you do it.
You make an explainer video that, well, explains how you help people and what you help them with, which is also called a vsl, right, which stands for Value Sales Letter. But don't worry, it doesn't have to be like some big salesy thing. That's not what this is about. And what you do is you put a link to your explainer video in the description of each one of your videos, right, Like I do. So mine is just below this video. You can go and check that out later on if you like. And you just put a little bit of text where it says like, work with me. And then you put the link and that is it. And then people will see a video and if they like you, if they resonate with you, if they like what you talk about and they need help, right, then they can go there, they can go and watch the explainer video. They can book in a quick call with you or a member of your team and that's really it. And I book about right now about 350ish calls a month from, from my channel, right, from people applying to work with me. And I don't even get that many views. And you just take the calls, you let a few people in. You charge what you are worth, right? You charge what you deserve for, for your experience and the size of your audience, the size of the problem that you solve, right? And the result that you can get four people. And that's it. It really is. It's just so easy to do.
You also don't have to be special or unique to do this. You could be a 3 out of 10 at something and you could teach zeros and ones, or you could be a 5 out of 10 at something and teach twos and threes, some something like that. So you don't have to be a world class amazing expert. You don't like a lot of my clients, they're just a 4 or a 5 or a 6 or a 7 out of 10 at something and they teach zeros or ones or twos or threes, right? And yet they all literally, literally all make at least 10 or 20,000amonth, right? Up to 100 or 200,000amonth plus. So.
Just imagine that for a second, right? Lay your skepticism aside and just look at these real people out there doing this again, Shackle, Nero, Jim, Me, Olifemi, Christian, Charlie, Cody, James.
We're all just humans with a brain and a bit of experience in a certain niche. I don't think that we're Special now, yes, I'm extremely beautiful and good looking, right? I can't help that I was born this way. All right, My sense of humour is not the best, I know. But seriously, me, all of my clients, we're not special in my opinion. We just make these simple YouTube videos, have an explainer video that people can go to get a few clients, charge what you're worth. It's literally, it's literally that easy, guys. And you don't even need many views either. To go back to what I was saying earlier, I call it the power of 1%, where all you need is just 1% or even, even 0.1% of your viewers to buy. The other 99.9% they don't need to buy. You just need one in a thousand people to give you 3K or 5K or 10K. And you can quit your job, you can quit whatever that you're doing that you don't like to do. And do this full time like I do, sat here in my living room at 2pm on a Monday afternoon having a cappuccino, making these videos. It's the best thing in the world. Now I want to show you a couple of other examples, right? Just so that you've got even more context to inspire you to do this for yourself. So this guy Cody, he just again, he makes these videos at home in his car and he talks about how he helps people to get more views so that they can get more sales. Basically, it's just so simple. And he doesn't even get loads of views, like 400 here, 1,000 there, 700 here, more on, on other platforms, right? That kind of thing. And again, imagine that he gets maybe just a few thousand views a month and just 1% of those people buy something from him. Well, that is all that he needs to put 5k, 10k, 15k plus in his pocket, right? Just like many of my other clients do and hopefully you will be doing soon as well. Or this guy Jim, such a good guy. I absolutely loved working with this guy so much. He made this one whiteboard video and it booked him an ungodly amount of sales calls. Obviously I can't share anyone's actual numbers. That's not fair because I haven't asked their permission. But just imagine how much money you could make selling again. Let's just say, let's say a 5k offer and you have like 50 calls booked from one video. If 45 don't buy and only 5 do, right? Well, that's $25,000 from one video. And that is, that's often, you know, all it takes to make this a career, right? Just, just one video can, can change everything. I see that all the time. My videos, they usually take about an hour to make. So 30 minutes to shoot, 30 minutes to upload, grab a screenshot from the video for the thumbnail, schedule it in, and I'm done. And by the way, I batch my videos. I usually make one or two in a day and then I schedule them in. And I always try and stay about 6, 7, 8 uploads ahead. I do one upload a week. And why I do this is, is so that I can only make videos when I feel like it and when I actually want to, which for me keeps it fun. Because I've learned this from experience, right? For me personally, when I have to do something I don't want to do, feels like work, right? But when I can just do whatever I want, when I want, that to me is fun. That to me is freedom. And freedom is one of my key values. Life. I like to just do whatever I want every day. And you might not be like that. You might like more structure, you might prefer, you know, more, more of a rigid schedule or something, but to me, I just love messing around and making a, you know, few hundred thousand dollars a month income and just being free just to do whatever I want every day. That, that to me is perfect. That to me is freedom. And when it comes to your videos, look, don't be worried if you only get low views, that's okay. We all start somewhere, right? I only get low views. Most of my videos only get like a few thousand views even to this day. So, sure, you'll get what are called outliers every now and again. We all get them eventually. Where you'll accidentally get like a 10k view video or 100k view video or, or something crazy. My biggest video on this channel got about, I think it's on about 520 odd thousand views. And I'll put that on screen so that you can see that. But for me, again, you don't, you don't need that when it happens. It's great. It's a happy accident, right? But you do not need that. All that you really need, if you can get 500 views, a thousand views a video, you're going to be good. And the formula is really simple. The formula is this, right? So number one, make fun, valuable videos that help people. Number two, make them regularly, right? Same day, same time, so that your audience can settle into a schedule for Me, I think that's really important. It's almost like a television program where, you know, it's coming out on this day at this time and you get into a rhythm of watching it. It creates that, that bond. Step three, send people into an explainer video in order to book calls. And step four, a few people are going to buy your offer eventually. It's just, that's just, it's just going to happen. It is really going to happen. Okay, A few people are going to buy your offer and it's just going to make you four figures, five figures, I mean even six figures a month in income. As you, as this stuff starts to compound and your channel starts to compound and people start regularly watching and regularly buying as well. And that is the, I guess the next point here is that you don't have to be great at anything in order to go with the strategy. You don't have to know how to make world class thumbnails. You just don't, you, you just use a screenshot. You don't have to know how to edit either because you can just do like I'm doing right now, just one continuous shot. You don't even need a fancy camera. I'm literally shooting this on my iPhone with a $20 lapel mic off Amazon. And you also don't need to script your videos either. Just chat to the camera like I do about whatever you want to, whatever you want to help people with, whatever you want to share. And again, for me, I think this is an important part of this strategy is just being real. So if you talk a certain way, talk a certain way. If you dress a certain way, dress a certain way. If you want to have a coffee while she's shooting, have a coffee while she's shooting. That kind of thing. That's part of what makes this work is just, just be yourself. Okay? And whilst none of this is like amazing, YouTube is shifting and this kind of like where the algorithm shift is coming in from being like hyper edited to being this slow conversational style of video where a lot of people, I think the reason that it works is people just want someone to talk to and to relate to and to listen to and then eventually to get information from and advice and guidance and coaching and learning and, and that kind of thing. Someone said to me last week, will I get a coffee? And I just sit and watch your videos. And it feels like we're just friends talking to each other. And for me this has been a happy accident. I never, you know, the coffee is not on purpose. The way that I talk and act and stuff, it's just, it's just, you know, when people meet me in real life, they always say to me, you're just like from the videos. So this is somebody else, Michael, right here. And five years ago he was experimenting, trying with different style stuff, just making a bunch of videos on random things. And you can see these thumbnails are, well, let's be kind to the guy. They are not the best. And by the way, this is why those screenshots of real people are way better than these more kind of cheesy edited style of thumbnails. And also they're a lot more relatable as well. Like we've just talked about, people want someone that they can relate to. They don't want like hyper editing and cheesy saturated thumbnails and stuff, right? These probably had a very low chance of success because they're just not great. But if we look at what he's doing now, he's doing the same thing as those other people that we've looked at in this video. He's just going for a walk and he's just talking for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, specifically this guy, about how Social Security is about to change in a big way. And again, it's not scripted. There might be, there might be bullet points or something like that, but usually it's just raw. No notes, no plan. And this guy, again, he's just talking about something that he is passionate about and that he's, that he's very knowledgeable about.
Find your area of expertise. What do you want to help people with? Whether it is YouTube, whether it is psychology, whether it's the bible, whether it's real estate, it could be ecom, it could be dating, it could be communication, it could be business, right? Or.
Anything like that. You really can build these businesses and make great videos around pretty much anything and build an audience, right? Just talking about whatever you like for a few minutes every day. And you can be out for a walk. You can be in your living room like I am. You can be in your office if you have one. You can be anywhere. Just, just again, just keep it, keep it real, right? And this is something that this guy has been hammered at. And we can see he was experimenting in the beginning, like we saw, where he didn't really know what he was doing. And then he found out that real and raw style was his thing. And this is what more and more people are starting to land on and realize now. This style not only is sounds like a cheat code. It just doesn't sound real because it's faster, it's easier, it's cheaper, there's a lower barrier to entry. And you don't need to do all of the things that these YouTube gurus say that you need to do. This, this style, it's simple and it just works. With that said, though, it might not work forever. Okay, so you've got to start now. You've got to act now. You have to act fast if you want to capitalize on this, because the YouTube algorithm, it will change again at some stage. It could be a week, it could be a month, it could be a year. Right? But if I could give you any advice, like anything in life, that's great, that's unusually great. It doesn't last forever, right? You've got to start now, if you haven't already started. So what to do from here? Well, let me give you a few steps to take away.
So number one, again, start a channel if you haven't started one yet. Number two, just make simple talking head videos. Keep it simple, keep it raw, keep it real, don't overthink it. Step number three, create an explainer video and obviously an offer as well. And then step four, help people and just charge some money for it. Charge what you're worth. And by the way, I made this other video that I'll put on screen all about how to do all of those specific steps in more detail, which you might want to go and watch next.
