William Brown shares why he almost quit YouTube, then reveals the strategy that took his channel from zero to 56k subscribers and $270-320k monthly revenue. The formula: create genuinely valuable content but package it with a confusing persona or visual that hooks clicks, then resolve the confusion with real, rare value. Have your product and sales process ready before you scale.

Hey guys, it's will.
And.
YouTube is just BS.
It's just.
I can't think of good video ideas. The few videos that I do make get barely any views.
I.
Barely booking any sales calls. Of the sales calls that I do book, barely any of them close or buy. Well.
For the last few weeks, none have bought whatsoever. And.
Quite honestly, I'm just feeling like.
I just want to give up. Quite honestly, I don't know what to do. I feel lost, I feel.
Stressed. I feel like my business is going to come to an end.
I have no strategy. The little strategy that I do have doesn't seem to even work. I see other people out there like crushing it and getting loads of views, loads of subscribers, loads of sales making.
You know, apparently six figures a month, multi six figures a month.
And I just am on the brink of just giving up.
That is what a client said to me a few weeks ago when I was on a group call with him and about seven or eight other people. And the funny thing is, there was also a person on that call, a guy called Nero Knowledge. And on that call I shared my YouTube strategy with all of the people on that call.
And Nero Knowledge, for those who don't know who he is, he's one of my clients who sells a manifestation offer. Four weeks ago, he had 4,000 subscribers on YouTube the day of the call, the group call that I am telling you about right now. And I'm also going to share exactly what I told that guy with you in this video.
Near all Knowledge. Fast forward to today. He's got 104,000 subscribers from 4amonth ago to 104 today. And all he did was exactly what I'm about to tell you to do.
Not only Nero Knowledge, I also shared this exact strategy with another of my clients, a guy called Charlie Morgan. And Charlie used it to go from about 40,000 subscribers up to now, about 150,000 subscribers. He didn't get there as fast as, as Nero did. I think Charlie took about.
Three, four, five months to see that growth. But in both of those cases, and in my case as well.
What I'm about to share is how you grow a YouTube channel. It is how you monetize a YouTube channel. It's how you do what I've done. So right now I'm making roughly about 270 to about $320,000 cash collected per month. And all of that is actually recurring as well.
And this is how I'm doing it. This is how my client, Miro Knowledge, who by the way he joined me at 12k a month about three months ago, he's now last month just had his first ever six figure cash collected month. And it is all because, well not all because, because he's a very talented guy, he's a very hard working guy, he's got a great offer at a solid high ticket price point. So that stuff was in alignment. But it's the traffic that really makes the difference. And it has for me, it has for Nero, it has for Charlie, it has for a few other of my clients as well, who I, I won't just keep shouting names at you. It all comes down to one thing and I've never ever, ever heard anyone or seen anyone talk about this. Now what I want you to do is hear me out in this video, make notes around this strategy, go and put it into action and then go and look at these people's channels. So my channel, if you're new, look through my videos. A client, Nero Knowledge, go and look through his videos. My client, Charlie Morgan, go and look through his videos later. Okay. And you'll see this in action. One word juxtaposition.
What do I mean by that? Well, one thing that blows up YouTube channels from at least, I mean this is what blew up my channel, this is what has blown up my clients channels. And this will almost certainly blow up your channel as well. If you're someone who wants to print Money with a YouTube channel, this is how you do it.
Create valuable videos that really help people, but frame them in a way using juxtaposition. Now I'm going to use Nero Knowledge as an example here and then I'll shed a bit more detail in a sec. So if you look at Nero Knowledge's videos, the first thing that you see is a black guy wearing a vest, wearing a gold shade, with a durag, with sunglasses on, indoors at a whiteboard. And his titles are very strange and very provocative as well. So straight away, before you've even clicked the video, it kind of doesn't make sense. It's like who is this guy? What is he talking about? And then you click the video and then he's very articulate, he's very smart, talented, well spoken, organized. And then he makes sense of all of the confusion. Essentially right now coming back to me, I am pretty wealthy, I think it's fair to say I make a hell of a lot of money. And yet I wear a white T shirt, I wear like 12 pound shorts, I have like three pairs of shoes. And yet equally I live in a $1.6 million apartment that I own outright with cash. I don't have a car. I, you know, it's. Some of it makes sense, but some of it doesn't. And it's almost like, well, if you're a millionaire, like, why don't you fly private? Why don't you have a supercar? Why don't you have a mansion? But yet I am actually rich. So it's a bit confusing and it's a bit of a weird, can you see where I'm going? It kind of doesn't make sense. And then you make sense of it. This is how I've seen YouTube channels blow up. This is how I've seen YouTube channels grow so fast. Again, in my experience and my clients experience, again, if we take Charlie Morgan, well, he is making, you know, multi six figures a month, cash collected. Like me, he lives in a mansion on the pond, but yet he wears like clothes that look like they're women's clothes from a fucking charity shop. And he wears a Casio and he, you know, it just doesn't. It's weird. It just is like, let's be honest, it's kind of weird and it's kind of a weird juxtaposition. It just kind of doesn't make sense. But again, coming back to the foundation, though the videos are quality, the videos are genuinely helpful for people. They're mind blowing. They cause transformations, they truly help people. They share a lot of real, tangible, actionable value. Like, hopefully this video does as well.
So that's like the bed, okay? So when it comes to making YouTube videos of your own, they've got to be real, they've got to help people, they've got to actually add real and ideally rare value. If you can add real rare value, which only comes from real world experience, right? If you can do things that very few people have done and then share that openly and you can package it in a strange, confusing way where you are different, you are an outlier. That is how you blow up fast. You confuse people and then solve the confusion with value. That's kind of the equation. Now I'll give you a really simple, actionable example. The first ever kind of big video that I ever made was the one that I made the day that I sold my elearning company last year. So September 30, I got the wire from the private equity firm that bought my last company for multi seven figures. And literally about two or three hours after I got the wire, I sat down at my desk in my normal office. I Didn't pre plan anything. I didn't like set up a studio, didn't have even a microphone. I used my built in imac camera and I pressed record and I just shared raw, real in the moment, true emotional value. Not only that, it was rare value because how many people have sold one of their companies for multi seven figures, right? So it's weird, it's unique, it's valuable, it's story based. It's kind of fascinating to see and watch because it's, I mean that I've never ever, ever ever seen a video like that where someone's just sold their company and they instantly make a one take unedited video. I've never ever seen that in my life. It may even be the first one ever on YouTube maybe, I don't know. So the title style this random young looking guy, but he's in a office that overlooks the ocean in one of the best buildings in Dubai. So the view is amazing, all the color is amazing. He's in what looks like a kind of a nice office, but equally he doesn't look very old and he's wearing a white T shirt. And has he really just sold his company and how much has he sold it for? And oh my God, this is like a one take unedited, no thumbnail video. And it's all just like it comes together to blow up. It's just so new and exciting and weird and unique. And the few people that get this right, like nero knowledge from four to 104,000 subscribers in four weeks. Charlie Morgan from 40 to 140, 150,000 subscribers in three or four months. Me zero to 56,000 subscribers in about seven or eight months.
This is how you do it. This is a strategy, right? If I had to describe it in another way to make it a bit more understandable, I would say just do the opposite. This is the thing that always worked for me in life, in business.
In growing my YouTube channel, in making ads, in just everything. Do the opposite of everybody else. If everybody else is in like a fancy studio, dressed really nice, amazing, perfect camera and lighting and sound.
Just fucking shoot a video on your iPhone whilst walking down the street. If everybody is planning the videos and they got scripts and bullet points and copywriters and perfect titles and perfect thumbnails.
Just don't have a thumbnail, just have a text message title. Just keep it real. If everybody's faking it, Keep it real if everybody's dressed up, wear normal clothes. If everybody's in a studio shooting outside, be Weird, stand out and create that. But you've got to keep it real though, right? So this only works if you've actually got value to share. But let's just take a step back from that because from my experience, so I work with people who either have talent, skill, knowledge that they want to package up and sell and I also work with people who are already teaching online selling information online and I help them do it at a six and a seven figure per month level. And here's one thing that I've learned I really want to share and make clear. A lot of people come to me and they actually don't even know that they have value, that they have knowledge, that they have a specialist talent or skill that other people would pay for it. And there's no better example of this than one of my friends clients who makes currently about 16,000amonth teaching knitting from home knitting. I'm sure there are so many people out there that are great at knitting, love knitting, have friends that knit, want to do it bigger and better, want to have a community of people that love it and they just don't even know that they could be making 5, 10, 15k a month sharing that with others. Other examples, one of my buddies who makes about 80,000amonth teaching people to stop drinking alcohol. Well I'm sure there's a lot of people out there that have learned to stop drinking alcohol, but maybe they just don't know that they could teach this to other people. They should teach this to other people and if they did, they'd be making at least 10, 20, 30k a month. If they did it right, they built the infrastructure properly.
These weird niches. Another one, how to talk to girls. Women get dates, get married.
Come back after a divorce. One of my buddies makes over a million a month helping men to either I think it's either avoid divorce or fix their marriage or sort their life out after divorce. I can't remember exactly what his offers are, but I do know that he makes over a million a month helping men with divorce. So let me ask you a question. What's skill? What talent? What knowledge do you have that maybe you don't yet realize you could be selling? You should be selling, you should be sharing and helping other people with and are you potentially missing out on 10, 20, 30, 40, 50k a month or more just through not knowing? Well, this video is here to tell you, to show you it can be done. It should be done. These are some of the most high integrity businesses, most giving, fulfilling businesses, if not the that I've ever seen or found.
The bedrock is a few things. It's getting traffic, getting eyeballs, people to see who you are and how you can help them. And that YouTube is by far the best way. It's the best place to do this. And if you do it in the way that I've shared with you in this video, and if you can just get this right, it might take a few tries, okay? Not everybody cracks it first time. In fact, pretty much no one cracks it first time. There are rare exceptions, but pretty much no one cracks it first time. I'd uploaded five or six or seven videos that did okay, but they didn't blow up. And then I made that video that I just told you about the day that I sold my company and got the wire. And that taught me what to do. It taught me what actually works. What works is what I've shared in this video. It's the juxtaposition. It's the abnormality. It's the going against the grain. It's the doing the opposite of what other people are doing. Okay, so how can you look at your market, your niche, whatever it is. Fitness, ecom, trading, addiction, marriage, divorce. How can you look at what other people are doing and do the opposite? Maybe it's your. Maybe it's how you dress. Maybe it's how you look. Maybe it's how you speak. Maybe it's your background or location. Maybe it's how you film. Maybe it's how you edit or don't edit. Maybe it's how you do your thumbnails or you don't do your thumbnails. I promise you. Experiment with this, because this is exactly what I said to Nero Knowledge, and he did this and blew up. This is exactly what I said to Charlie Morgan, and he did this and he blew up. This is exactly what I did myself, and I blew up. You can do this, too. And you will do this, too. Okay? So that's the foundation. Now coming back to, well, how do you monetize your YouTube now? I will say this. I would not really encourage you to start with YouTube until you have a product, an offer, a sales process ready. Because there's one thing that you do not want to happen, and that is that you blow up and you've got no offer. You get all this traffic and you've got nowhere to send it. That's like the worst thing that can happen now. You can still, you know, sell things to your audience in the future. You can still make them offers in the future, but there's nothing better. And you'll never see a bigger impact than when your offer, your price, your sales process is dialed in, then you blow up your YouTube channel.
If we rewind to last December, December 2023, I was making about 70,000amonth cash collected. I had just a small handful of clients. I was loving my life. It was very easy and chilled and peaceful and fun. And then my YouTube blew up. I made this video called how I'd make $10,000 a month ASAP if I had to start again. That video very quickly blew up. It blew up. It had like 24,000 views in a day, then 40,000 views the next day, then 70, 80,000 views the next day was unbelievable. And I'd made about 70k in December. I made 364k in January. That would not have happened if I didn't have my offer dialed in, my pricing dialed in, my sales process dialed in, and I was ready for the traffic. Now, granted, I very quickly had to hire, well, first one coach to help me with the calls and now two coaches to help me with the calls because it's just impossible to take. We currently book about seven to eight calls per day from this YouTube channel with people enquiring about working with me, which is good. Not too many, not too little. That's just really pretty perfect right now.
But coming back to my point, you've got to be ready. You've got to be ready. So if you don't have a YouTube channel yet, well, good. Build your offer, sort out your price, sort out your sales process. And if you need any help with this, by the way, I'll put a work with me link in the description. You can click that. Let's jump on a call and I'll run you through how I could maybe help you with this. I've got a group coaching program, a one to one coaching program. A done for you coaching program that's there if you need it. This is not a video to sell you on that. I just wanted to share how I can help you if you need the help. So that's there if you need it. But otherwise, get your ducks in a row first and then deploy the strategy that I've just shared with you. Now, I was chatting to Nero just this morning actually and I said to him, why do you think you've done so well? And what he described to me was what I've just described to you. He said, I look weird, but I sound very articulate and trustworthy. I've got a hell of a lot of value to share. I spent years owning my craft. But I want to add a caveat. Because you don't have to spend years owning your craft. You don't have to even have a training program. You don't even have to have a course to sell. You can just do one to one coaching. You can just do online workshop, an in person workshop. You can just do an in person mastermind or even zoom mastermind. And you also don't have to be a 10 out of 10 expert either. Think of it like this. So this is a scale. This is Tiger Woods 10 out of 10. This is me. I've never played golf before in my entire life, ever. I played topgolf, but let's not even go there. I wouldn't describe that as a particular skilled golf. Alright? Now to teach golf, you really actually shouldn't be a 10. Because if you're a 10, well, you're going to be charging probably tens of thousands of dollars and you're just way too advanced. For people who are a 1 or a 2 or a 3 or a 4 on the scale. The ideal teacher for a 0 is a 4 to a 5. The ideal teacher for a 2 is like a 5 or a 6 or maybe a 7. The ideal teacher for a 5 or 6 is a 9 or a 10 on the scale. Okay? And I can tell you, in my last E learning company, when I accidentally began teaching.
I would say I was about five, four or five and I started teaching zeros and ones. Then when I was a six, seven, I was teaching more twos and threes and fours and vice versa. So I just want to dispel the myth here. You don't have to be a 10 or even a 9 or an 8 or a 7 or a 6. You can be a 5 and teach zeros. You don't have to have this big shiny online course or coaching program. You can just coach people one to one.
So don't let this stuff overwhelm you, okay? It's really not as complex as people think it is. I was speaking at a Mastermind here in Bali last weekend. I was speaking in front of about 25 people at a a guy called Dan Bolton's Mastermind. And I was talking about my business, YouTube, my whole infrastructure. And I remember being asked one question. Someone said to me, Will, what's your YouTube strategy?
And I actually said to them, I don't care. So I make videos for fun. I make videos because I find them fulfilling to make. They also help me find clients to help and work with, which is my way that I get fun and fulfillment as well.
And I make videos in the way that I described to you earlier. So I make them in a bit of a juxtaposition way. I try my absolute hardest to share real world tangible value that will have a benefit, which gives actionable steps that you guys can actually take who watch this video and go and deploy them and hopefully get the same results as me and my pain clients like Nero, like Charlie Moreland, like the other guys that I work with and help to do this at a very high level.
And when you build your infrastructure and then You Bolt on YouTube and you do it properly, if you follow the strategy that I've just shared with you, it's a matter of time until you blow up and you get the equation right. So let me just pause here and ask you this and maybe as a bit of a test, just pause the video in a second and comment below. What is the strategy that I've just shared with you? Just to firm it up in your own mind. And when you've done that, I'll just repeat it one more time because that is really important, guys, that you. You get this right. Because if you get this right, it can change your goddamn life and it can change your goddamn business and it can allow you to print money in a way that to most people on planet Earth, it just unimaginable. The fact that my bank balance goes up by the better part of a quarter of a million dollars a month. The fact that the same can be said for my client Charlie, the same can be said for my client Nero, the same can be said for all of my other clients on the William Brown testimonials YouTube channel as well. If you haven't seen that, it's a whole channel of testimonials from everyone from Nero and Charlie to Mike Thurston to Jack Hopkins, and on and on and on. I've worked with some of the biggest people on earth. I'm currently working with a guy called Hamza who has like two and a half million YouTube subscribers to help dial in his, like, VSL, his sales process, and on and on. So I feel, I feel very, very, very, very lucky to be able to work with these guys who people look up to and people have a lot of respect for.
It's a big blessing to be able to work with both new and old people, both big and small people. Whoever it is, this is my absolute love, my absolute passion in the world.
So if you've commented down below, here's the strategy once again, Juxtaposition how can you look almost weird? How can you stand out but actually give massive value? Okay? How can you be that multi, multi, multi millionaire who wears white t shirts and 12 pound shorts and has like three outfits to wear in the world and a gym outfit and a suit? That's it. How can you make people think like, who is this person? Like, is this all real? Is it true? Like just confuse them and then solve that confusion with value in a real way, in a raw way, just without caring. Just be yourself. Just be who you are. Be a little bit weird if you're weird. Wear white T shirts if you want to wear white T shirts. Go against the grain, okay? And if you do those things, you are going to win in the long term. Might take a few steps. You might have to take five videos. 10 videos. Did I just say take? Make five videos. 10 videos, 15 videos. I had a new client join me in the fitness space a few weeks ago and his videos are just like. I don't mean any offense by this, but they're so manufactured. Like the fucking thumbnails is the same thumbnail that everyone makes. The studio is the same as every studio looks. The way he talk and acts is like every person in the industry talks and acts. It doesn't stand out, it doesn't feel exciting, doesn't feel real, doesn't feel genuine, doesn't feel giving. Well, it does, it's. And these are valuable videos coming from expert who quite honestly on that scale is probably an 8, maybe 9, to be honest, maybe a 10. But I'll leave you with this. The scale really doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter. What matters is that you give your value in your way, in your manner. And if you can position it against the grain, if you can give without caring or wanting or needing, if you can be that juxtaposition.
You'Re gonna blow up. And I very much hope that you do.
