3 Secrets To Letting Go That Make It Easy AF (SO simple)

Aaron shares three ways to let go: recognize it's a choice, drop beliefs that aren't yours, and feel your emotions instead of pushing them away. He uses a rock metaphor for inherited patterns and recommends processing old trauma through meditation or shadow work.

The degree to which you can let go will be the degree to which you can receive. And this is one of the most, I think, important secrets when it comes to manifestation, when it comes to healing, is that the key is not piling on some really cool idea or wiring in this confidence or some type of belief system in order to attract what you want. It's more so about letting go of the old. That old could be an old pattern, an old belief, a person, an attachment. And as you let go of these things, you then make room and are then in an ability and in a vibration to receive that which you want. So in this video, I'm going to share with you the 3 best kept secrets that I found to letting go that have made it so easy, so much easier than it's ever been and it's going to save you a lot of time. It's going to help you understand this process in a much easier way to digest the information, and I'm going to share with you that right now. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'm going to be sharing with you letting go and why letting go is so powerful. Now maybe you've been sitting around and you've been like, okay, I keep hearing about how to let go. It seems like this really easy idea, but what do I actually do? That's one of the biggest things too I realized about me and self-development is like, what do I need to do? I have all this awareness now. I recently did something called plant medicine in Costa Rica and I became aware of a memory that I totally forgot about. It was a memory, just to give you a little bit of basis, I realized that the more I go into my shadow and the more I become aware of things I was priorly unaware of, the more I, in a way, become more empowered. So I became aware that when I was a kid, I felt emotionally abandoned when my brother was born. I was an only child up until I was 3 years old. My brother's born, all this, the attention shifts from me to my brother. And my brother had a whole bunch of health complications. He had asthma, was in the hospital every like 2 weeks, and the attention shifted. And in that moment, I decided maybe I don't matter. What is, maybe there's something wrong with me. Maybe I'm not worthy. And once I became aware of that, I'm like, okay, what do I do with this? Now I know it, but what do I do with it? And for me, I then also, by the way, just a little side note, I realized that what I do in the world with making videos, a part of me craved significance from growing a big online following stuff because I think I was trying to fill the hole of not feeling like I had attention when I was a kid. When I was young, and that was a very powerful insight for me. But part of me also was like, well, what do I do with this information now? What do I do with it? And once again, there's an element of here of letting go that is very important to understand. Now, with it comes this process as well. When I was, I think, unaware of it, I was in this energy of just feeling like subconsciously, maybe I'm not worthy, maybe there's something wrong with me. And then when I became aware of it, I'm like, okay, cool. "Do something with this, do it," right? But really what it was is it was letting go of some type of blame that I may have had towards my mom without even knowing it, or towards my brother without even knowing it. And it was letting go of that and realizing that the reason I was holding onto that is because maybe it helped me to survive some way. Anything we do, we do because there's some type of payoff. And if we blame somebody that maybe abused us, maybe many of you know my story of the ex-stepmom between 7 to 16 years old, That was in my life. And I think that what happened with that is I was in a way by not blaming her, but like by being in my old story and not forgiving her, it was reidentifying and reestablishing why I was where I was. It like wasn't discrediting my childhood and all the pain I went through. So one of the first secrets to letting go that makes it so much easier to let go is realizing that there's nothing you really need to do but make the choice. So letting go is actually extremely easy. The only reason it appears to be hard is because we many times are conflicted about making the choice to let something go. So for example, if you're trying to let go of an old relationship and it appears very hard, the reason it appears hard to let go of that relationship is because part of you knows that intellectually maybe you should let it go, to let it go, but there's another part of you that is afraid to let it go because if you let it go, maybe you'll never get it back. Maybe that was your one chance, your one chance at ever finding love. You see, that's what the mind thinks. Now, of course, it's a notion that doesn't really even logically make sense, but it's what we believe. We believe that if I were to let go, then I won't actually receive, or if I let go, it's us trying to control the situations really what it is. But letting go is extremely easy once we make the choice. Now, making the choice means that you have a level of trust, that you trust in yourself, you trust in reality, in the universe, in God, whatever you want to label it as. But you have this level of trust where you realize that when you let go of something, you then make room for something as well. And when you are attached to anybody or anything, it then infuses a level of resistance. So the more you can recognize that resistance, the more you see, well, "Well, I thought that by remaining attached to it, it would actually get me what I want, but now I see I'm actually pushing them away." Have you ever felt attached to somebody and you really wanted it to go well and then they felt that resistance and you repelled them? If you ever really wanted a job, it's like the same thing. You really go to the interview and you're hoping everything goes well, but then they feel that resistance and maybe you repel it. The key is taking it off a pedestal and letting go of outcome, knowing that you're good either way. Have a frame that you're good either way. So this is the first key to understanding that letting go is actually extremely easy, but have you made the choice? And if you haven't made the choice, maybe you haven't made the choice because you still believe that by being attached, which means not letting go, you actually are in a beneficial part. That's good. That's what the mind thinks. But once you can look at it and see, you know what, holding on and being attached to it is actually hurting me, So much easier to let go then. That's the first secret. So letting go is actually easy. Now here's the second secret to letting go. Here's a rock that is in my backyard, okay? I'm gonna put it back when I'm done because I'm very compassionate towards rocks and I think they wanna be where they wanna be. But here's the thing, this rock right here, imagine that when you grow up, somebody give you a rock. So maybe your dad or your mom said, hey, Aaron, here's a rock. And then I said, oh cool. And I put the rock on my shoulder and said, thanks. Or maybe I didn't even know I was carrying the rock, but I started carrying the rock around. And I didn't recognize that the rock is not even my rock. So I've been carrying the rock everywhere I go thinking it's mine and having reasons, that's the intellect, that's the attachment, why I should be carrying around this rock. And I could say, well, my mom gave me this rock. It's a special rock. If I let go of the rock, maybe I'm not myself, maybe somebody gets mad at me. You see, this is what happens a lot of times with our beliefs. We have beliefs that say I'm not worthy. We have beliefs that say I'm meant to be seen and not heard. We have these beliefs that we carry around thinking they're our own when they're not. They are our parents. I know that for me, I had to shed a codependency relationship pattern that I had. I had to shed this whole nice guy complex that my dad had. and I had to shed it by realizing this rock right here ain't mine. It's not mine. So why am I gonna carry it around? I'm not gonna keep carrying it around just because somebody gave it to me. Maybe if I let it go, I'll get in trouble. You see, this is what I realized. And in order for me to do that, I had to realize this ain't my rock. And what I then did is I picked up the rock and I put it down. I'm gonna go put it outside later after this video, That's the idea is realizing the second secret to letting go that makes it so easy is that that's not your rock. You put the rock down, it's not yours. Somebody gave it to you. Most of the beliefs we have, are they given to us by family members, friends, reference experiences growing up from the news, the media. And we say, oh, I need to compare myself to other people. Those ain't your rocks. Those ain't your rocks. Let go of the rocks. Why are you carrying around so many rocks? Okay, unless you like carrying around rocks, then start putting them down, realize they ain't yours. So letting go is easy, so easy once we make the choice and realize that those aren't our rocks, they're not even ours. Most of the beliefs we have, most of the patterns that we live, they come from our parents and our environment growing up. So once you recognize that, you can then let them go because they ain't yours. You don't identify with them. When you think they're yours, you then identify with them and you carry 'em around because these are my rocks. So that makes it so much easier. Now, the third secret to letting go that makes this so easy is realizing you don't gotta do anything. There's nothing you really gotta do. Now, you could go and do some type of, I know this like ceremony I recently went to in Costa Rica, we did this like permission slip thing where we put like tobacco in these little cloths and then, would send healing to family members or friends or inner child and stuff. And then we'd then like tie it up and throw it in this little altar thing. And it was this symbol of us doing something that then helped us to then believe that we let go. Rituals can be very powerful, I believe. But it's not so much that you gotta do anything, but you gotta feel it. This is the secret. You gotta feel it. In the past, you probably had some type of trauma. You have emotions coming up. I'm working with a shadow work integration coach that I've been working with for months now. And basically all he does is he holds space for me to then feel and tap into my body and see what emotions come up. When I'm around other people, different feelings come up based on past experience, based on traumatic childhood things and stuff. And as these feelings come up, I go into it and I feel it. So if you wanna heal something from your past, Feel it. Don't try to repress it. Sometimes the law of attraction, we say, oh, if I feel it, I'm gonna manifest it. Feel it. Imagine, I explained this analogy to my buddy the other day. Imagine you got this big balloon full of pressure and you wanna let go of what's inside the balloon. What you do is, pfft, you start to let go of the pressure. Anytime you feel it, you're letting go of some of the energy inside of it. Pfft. But every time you stop feeling it, you clamp it shut. You then, it's then shut and that balloon then still has the pressure. If you wanna heal it, all you gotta do is continue to feel it, let it be there, be more curious about it. My coach tells me this all the time. Be curious, curious and feel it. What am I feeling in my body? There's nothing you really gotta do except feel it. You don't have to sit there and try to push it out Try to push it away. No, this is so much more simpler than we think. Feel it to heal it. When you feel it, everything begins to change. Now I do have a meditation for feeling and it's called the completion, like a process for completing the emotion from childhood trauma, childhood pain that allows you to become emotionally free and feel 100% worthy, whole, and complete. It's one of my most powerful meditations. It's like a meditation/activity/exercise mixed. It has, um, you read the comments to see what's possible. I'll link it below. It's for feeling 100% worthy, whole and complete. You'll see that. I'll put it in the end card as well. Other than that, I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Like this video if you liked it, like it if you got some type of value of understanding how to let go, and then comment below. Let me know how you're going to let go, what you're going to let go of. What are you going to let go of? Let me know. Anyways, other than that, as always, I'll talk to you in the next video. Peace, much love, and namaste.
