How to detach so deeply it starts chasing you

Aaron Doughty explains why obsessing over what you want actually blocks it, drawing on Reality Transurfing to show how excess importance creates resistance. He uses the metaphor of a TV remote: your thoughts and feelings switch channels from limiting beliefs to abundance, but only when you stop caring so much. His YouTube channel grew fastest when he was least attached to it.

Why is it the more you want it, the more you lack it? The more you want someone to text you back or to choose you, the more you resist them actually texting you back and choosing you. And why is it the moment you let go of wanting it at all, that thing finally comes into your life? You finally get the reflection you've been looking for. The biggest growths I've ever had in my life have came When I wasn't focused on getting it and wanting it. The most my YouTube channel has ever grown was when I was the least attached. The most money I have ever made in my life has come as a result of the least focus on it. In this video, I'm going to show you a very powerful concept that comes from a book called Reality Transurfing. This is a book that has completely transformed my life from back in 2017. I used to talk a lot about it, but I kind of stopped. There's a new way of relating to this book, though, that I think will completely transform your life from the inside out. It has to do with the level of importance you give things, how the things we make really important, we create a lot of resistance around, how the things we make important are normally unresolved energies from childhood of things we wish we would've received from mom and dad. And I'm gonna show you how to allow love, success, and connection to be a natural part of your identity. I'm gonna show you a powerful metaphor I don't think you'll ever forget, and how you can finally begin to feel more calm and regulated inside of your body, knowing that you do not have to create the things that you want in your life. You don't have to desire it. You don't have to want it. And in fact, the more you let go of that, the more you will actually find that success in your life. So this video is a complete live that takes on a life of its own. I recommend you watch it all the way to the end. And I promise you that in 30 days, 60 days from now, you will notice that if you apply the concepts I share with you, Your whole entire life begins to shift. Why is it the more you want anything, the more you block that thing? And why is it when you let go of wanting, you actually allow that thing to come into your life? Maybe it's you want someone to come into your life. How often is it that people want to attract love? They want it. They're thinking about it. They watch the movie *The Secret*. I gotta want it. I gotta focus on it. And when they focus on it, all they do is feel the dissonance between where they are and what they want. Okay? And the moment they let go is the moment opportunities come into their life. I can't tell you how often I hear from people that want to. attract love or want to attract something into their life. And it's when they finally let go of it. And it's not only a letting go of the outcome, it's almost like— well, it is a letting go of the outcome, but it's mainly they start focusing on themselves. They start focusing on like having fun. They start focusing on their own energy. And as they start doing that, it's like the resistance goes away. And remember, anything you really want, you really lack. This is one of the most powerful things when you learn about what they call the law of attraction that will completely transform your life. It's that you do not create your own reality. I know you've been taught that. Oh, I need to create my own reality. I must create it. If it's not here now, I must create it. I must desire it and create it. Create your own reality. You don't create it. What quantum physics shows us is that what we can imagine already exists. It already exists. It's simply invisible to you. Because of your belief system. So what we're going to be talking about in this video is we're going to be talking about one of the most powerful processes I've ever found that I used to talk a lot about on YouTube. And then I stopped. And it's not about reality creation. It's more about realizing that what you want already exists, but you have to take it off a pedestal. See it as natural for your identity. There's something called excess potential. Everyone type in that really easy phrase, excess potential. Anything made really important is made really resistant. And that belief, that process I was talking about earlier, by the way, it's called Reality Transurfing. How many of you have heard me talk about Reality Transurfing in the past? It's a book written by a Russian quantum physicist translated to English, and it's kind of like this niche— has a cult following. People— the, the way I found out about the book was back in 2017 when I was first getting on YouTube. I met a guy that was a millionaire that told me that that book made him a millionaire. And then I got the book and it planted a seed, and then I became like very fascinated. It's like a— it's This thick. And a big part of the book is about realizing that what you want to experience already exists. You don't have to create it. You select it and you decrease importance. You decrease the more you put something on a pedestal. And it explains— it's almost like where you— the process, the reason I like it is it mixes the understanding of letting go. Letting go with kind of like—I don't really like to call it the secret manifestation or anything. It's—it's like there's a there's a certain degree of letting go and calmness that goes into the process. Like, so when I was talking about earlier, when it's like anything you put on a pedestal, you create resistance around. It's like when I think of people in my life that were like. wanting to attract love or something. It's when they stopped looking for it, they start having fun, or they even told themselves, whatever I do, I am not going to attract a relationship for the next 6 months. It won't come into my life at all. I won't look at it. I won't invite it in. Even if it's there, it's not gonna happen. How many stories have you heard from people That once they completely like made a choice, like, I am not gonna get into a relationship anytime soon, I'm not gonna date or whatever, I'm gonna focus on me, then it happens. Happens a lot because you let go of resistance. You let go of trying to make it work. You let— here's really what you do though. You let go of believing it's out there. You let go of trying. Like the most my YouTube channel has ever grown, it was when I was the least attached. And also I was like the most in flow state having fun. So there's a difference in the energy between really, really wanting, which is basically really, really lacking. Now let's go deeper into the inner child stuff here, which is what I think can completely transform your life. So basically, if you were to infuse this idea of understanding that anything you make really, really important, you put on a pedestal. If you put a person on a pedestal, you immediately put them up there. They are then looking down at you. You are looking up at them. And you create an energetic distance between you and them where you can't even connect to them. Like, it feels weird. And in many ways, you may have noticed in your life— has there ever been something in your life or someone in your life that for a while you may have put them on a pedestal and then you took them off? And when you took them off, then you could actually connect with them, or then they actually saw your value? Any of you ever had that happen? Or maybe you've done that to someone else, or they've done that to you. Somebody put you on a pedestal and you could feel that energy and you're like, ew. And then all of a sudden they started to— they took it away and then you started to feel present with them and you're like, oh, actually I can connect with this person. So this is why energetically Very often people will find blocks in their life around connecting with people when there is unresolved energy from the past where either mom or dad's approval or love became very important. And what happens is anything that's made important, you create resistance around. This, by the way, if you experience blocks in love, connection, vulnerability, going deeper in your relationship or attracting love, This might be it. Can you guys hear this right now? Anytime there's an— So the things we make important as kids are normally things that we did not receive that we deemed as important, because then the strategy or the pattern comes on play in order to get the very important need met. So basically, if it's important that you get mom or dad's approval and validation, you will then value getting approval and validation from the outside. And the moment you value and make getting approval and validation the most important thing on the outside is the moment you actually resist you even having the possibility of being seen by other people. So people, like, if you look at Tony Robbins when he teaches, like, he's at his live events, he's like, what do you value? Right? He's like, what are your top values? If your top values are significance and certainty, you're going to create a life of misery. Okay. But guess what? Out of all the values, if significance and certainty is the most important value, you will look for that on the outside. And if you live your life looking for significance and certainty in your life, and those are your top values, you're going to create a life of resistance, of trying really hard. But here's the thing, the inner child part of you that wants to feel seen, heard, soothed, and nurtured The inner child part of you that feels not seen, not significant, and craves certainty will only look for it on the outside because it doesn't feel it from you. And it's hard. It's easy to say, just let go. This is why people have trouble letting go, by the way. It's like, just let go. If you're telling someone to let go and say, oh, it's easy to let go, it can be very easy to let go. But the letting go thing that you're letting go of is a pattern that is literally a survival mechanism. It's the survival mechanism for who you believe you need to be as a kid to receive the love and approval of mom and dad. It's a survival mechanism. By the way, the survival mechanisms can very much help you to completely transform your life and can get you pretty far. I was watching The Last Dance last night with, uh, Michael Jordan. Any of you guys seen that on Netflix? No. It's a whole documentary on the last year of Michael Jordan being with the Bulls, of when they won that championship, the 6th championship. And it goes back into Michael Jordan's childhood. Michael Jordan, as a kid, he had a dad and a mom. Obviously, he had a dad and a mom, and he had a brother. He was extremely competitive with his brother. And one of the reasons being is because his dad— his brother, I think, was older— his dad would basically give more attention at times to his brother than him, which would have him become very competitive because the way that he connected to his dad was by making his dad proud by competing and winning. So, his survival mechanism is when I win, I feel in control. He probably feels uncertainty. When I win, I get the approval and love of my dad. And when I beat my brother, I then get more approval. Then years later, you've got this guy, which, by the way, Michael Jordan— do you think Michael Jordan is a pleasant guy to have coffee with? Do you think Michael Jordan has a reputation for being like a really swell guy that just like is so heart-opened? No. Have you heard the stories? He's not the nicest guy, and part of the reason is, is part of his, part of his survival role, part of his survival role from childhood was that who he needed to be in order to receive the love and approval from mom and dad, and especially dad, was he needed to win. He needed to win, and he needed to beat his brother. He literally said, "I would not be where I'm at." And all he was, he's addicted to winning, by the way. Even now as an adult, he golfs and he gambles. He's gotta win, he's gotta win, he's gotta win. It's his mentality. It's why people are like very inspired by his mentality. Win, win, win. That was a role, that was a survival mechanism as a kid that served him very well. You look at Tiger Woods, look at Serena Williams. Look at, uh, Michael Jackson. Look at all of these people who had a parent that was kind of like at a very young age somehow engaging with them and the means to which they could then receive their love from their dad. A lot of times the dad too. Isn't that interesting? Dad very often connected to purpose. Then years later they end up resenting it, by the way, a lot of times. I don't think Michael Jordan did, but you look at Michael Jackson, definitely resentment in there. You look at Tiger Woods, a lot of resentment towards his dad. Also, they all have a dark side. They all have a very, like, an edgy dark side that became one of the things that really drove them. So realize that for you, completely shifting your life, it's like the— so the thing that we will normally value the most is the thing that maybe we didn't receive as a kid, and therefore we will look for it on the external as an adult. And so that's what's made important. So when we talk about excess potential, we talk about things that are put on a pedestal. We talk about like the most my YouTube channel has ever grown was when I was the least attached. The mo— the best live events I've ever ran where the most viral content comes from are the events where I'm the least attached and I'm having the most fun. Um, there are so many— like, can you think of an example from your life where you took something off a pedestal and you made it less important? And by taking it off a pedestal and make it less important, it's like then you could actually connect to it, then it could actually happen. How often is it that people— like, an example probably everyone can relate to Have you ever wanted someone to get back to you or text you back or something? And you think about it, you think about it, you think about it. And the moment you finally let go of it, you don't care whether they do or not. You've started focusing on something else is the moment it happens. But the more you want it, the more it blocks it. And the more you want it, you really, really, really want it, you will really, really, really block it because wanting puts you in a reality and a lifeline where you perceive of the lack that you feel. Can you see that? So when you, when you really, really want, you really, really lack. So let go of wanting, right? That's the key. And the key really is to decrease the level of importance you give that thing. The challenge is that you subconsciously believe that the way in which you will feel happy is once you have that thing on the outside. That's the belief. So there's a projection. This is what happens. There's a projection of your own energy. There's a projection of, my power is over there, my power's in the future, or my power is with someone else. And if you walk around subconsciously wanting someone else to give you approval or validation, it's trying to make someone else have a job that's not their job to fulfill a need that's not their need to fulfill. Does that make sense? Or do you see? So So with that book I was talking about earlier, Reality Transurfing, right? It's a book written by a Russian quantum physicist, um, translated to English, and it's been around for years. And I've made 80 YouTube videos about it back in the day. I kind of stopped talking about it for different reasons that we may or may not go into. Um, the idea— some of the ideas in there were very— a little bit taboo. But one of them is understanding this connection between quantum physics, which is that there's an infinite number of realities that exist. And it's not about creating it. It's like, here's a good analogy. You ready? You guys want me to share a powerful analogy on this? Yeah. Think of a television. If you are on, let's say, the History Channel, and you want to watch National Geographic, You're watching a little bit of Vikings, which is a great show. I love that. It's my favorite show of all time, Vikings. Right? And, but you wanna be watching David Attenborough or whatever his name is with his accent talking about cheetahs on National Geographic. Okay? Do you need to create that reality? Like, right? You have a remote. Okay? Now with the remote, do you need to go and hire a production studio? Do you need to hire David Attenborough so he can say, In his accent, something about how the planet is about to blow up or something. Do you need to create that, hire them, create the set, hire all the actors or the people, get the photographers? Do you have to do all that? No. It already exists with your remote. Think of your remote like how you think, feel, and act, your beliefs about yourself, your beliefs about reality. You tune to a different channel, right? It already exists. Now here's the thing, most people are subconsciously addicted to Vikings. I'm subconsciously addicted to Vikings. It's an amazing show. It's a metaphor. People are on History Channel replaying what's familiar. How many of you have watched the same movie over and over again because you know what happens and you like that certainty? My dad does that sometimes. You know what? Back in 2012, I thought we might ascend to a different stage of consciousness. Remember that 2012 thing? The Mayans? I remember telling my dad about that and I kind of was, you know, for years, my dad thought I was kind of nuts. But here's what happened. He likes to watch that movie 2012 sometimes as he goes to bed. He's seen it a bajillion times. 2012. Can you think of one movie that as you go to bed at night, you're like, hmm, This feels very nice to just soothe into before bed. It's like tsunamis destroying the planet, but it's familiar. It's familiar. It's certain. You know what happens, even if what happens is cataclysmic. So it's like, well, I grew up and here's, here's the metaphoric example of why you feel stuck on the channel you're on, by the way. Mom and dad always watched History Channel. Now I always watch History Channel. And when I watch History Channel, I get to feel the familiar emotions I got to feel as a kid. Those familiar emotions might be guilt, shame, fear, anger, but I get to feel them and I'm addicted to what feels familiar. And I say, do you want to, do you want to tune to the channel with David Attenborough talking about cheetahs and how the planet's going to be destroyed? And you're like— I'm like, but it's kind of like 2012 or Vikings where, you know, the planet's going to be destroyed. You're like, no, it's— I don't know it though. What's going to happen? It's the unknown. It's not— anything could happen. What if something bad happens? I'm like, well, guess what? David Attenborough has a very smooth, nice accent, and there's penguins, and it's kind of relaxing. It's kind of chill. I think you'll like it. Or if I'm like, hey, you want to watch the Outdoor Boys YouTube channel? It's one of my, uh, things that I, that I've been watching for years since the— I don't know if you guys even know what that is. It's like a whole bunch of people can't— it's a whole bit— it's a family camping in, uh, Alaska, basically. I don't know if I'd ever go camping, but I definitely like watching people camp for some reason. It's regulating my nervous system. It soothes me. Okay? But basically what I'm sharing right now is the metaphoric example of how you actually create your reality. What do you do to create your reality if you are on the History Channel and then you're arguing with me and you're like, well, Mommy and Daddy always played History Channel and it allows me to feel shame, fear, anger. Anger. I started mixing words there. It allows me to feel all these emotions that I'm very familiar to. And on the— on National Geographic, I don't know what emotion I'm going to feel. I might actually feel calm. And if I feel calm, it's like I'm not used to that. But you see, and then you're like, well, the secret law of attraction says you need to want it. You need to want to go to the history— you, you need to want to go to National Geographic. Really, really want it and you'll get it. The more you want it, it's the more you can't find the remote. Remember, the remote is how you think, feel, and act. It's the choices you make. It's not hard to change the channel from History Channel to National Geographic. It's actually very easy. It's only hard because familiar energy is what you know. And you want to be right about reality. You want to be right about the Vikings and how it's not fair of the Vikings and the— the, all the stuff that happened. Of course, I'm using the show Vikings as an example mainly because it's the best show of all time, arguably better than Game of Thrones. Debate me. Come at me, bro. Come at me, bro. Is your channel, uh, Vikings is one of the— that's the— see, I imagine if I was like, the Vikings is the best show ever, Vikings is the best show ever, which it is, by the way. But if I'm like, I— that I won't ever watch another channel, another thing again, because Vikings is the best show ever, I want to be right about reality. One of the reasons we stay stuck on our own channel, by the way, is because we're addicted to being right. Look at my childhood. Look what happened in my childhood. This justifies my childhood. A lot of people don't realize they may have hidden loyalties in their family, because if a relationship didn't work out between your mom and dad, you might feel guilty if you had a successful relationship. So subconsciously, if your dad, mom suffered, you must suffer too. Stay on the channel. Stay on the History Channel, metaphorically. So to create your own reality, you don't have to create it. You don't have to find— if you're on the channel of History Channel and you want to go to National Geographic, you don't have to hire producers. You don't have to hire photographers and videographers and all this stuff. It already exists. You have to energetically tune to it. And this is what that book Reality Transurfing talks about. Now, the thing that will block you from tuning to that channel is also importance. You make it really, really important that you do change. You make it really, really important. You create a lot of resistance. Once again, you can't find the remote, metaphorically speaking. It's really, really important. It's not natural for you to just be looking at National Geographic. So when I, first off, I read that book Reality Transurfing back in 2017, 2018. I was already like full-time on YouTube. But one of the things that really shifted for me is I— this shifted for me at multiple layers. In 2017, working that 9-to-5 job I hated, I literally just started to be a full-time YouTuber. Say, Aaron, it can't be that easy. I just started to be it. I committed to it. I didn't give myself any excuses. I thought, felt, and acted equal to being a 9-to-5. Instead of a 9-to-5 job goer, which is my familiar History Channel type reality, I started to be a YouTuber. Blocks came up, didn't believe myself, all of that other stuff, right? Didn't feel worthy, blah, blah, blah. I committed to it. And then eventually, I committed to being a YouTuber that was traveling, running live events. That became my dominant reality. But so when I learned, when I first read that book, Reality Transurfing, one of the first ways I used it is there was a house that I really wanted to live in and I really wanted it, which means of course I wasn't gonna live in it because I want, want, want. When you want, you lack. So one of the things I did, one of the things I learned is I learned how to take it off a pedestal and how to see it as natural. So what this meant is what I would do when I was going to bed at night or waking up in the morning is I would visualize being in that house. So there's this house in Vegas, one of the first houses I lived in. A lot of my YouTube videos were in this house. And I knew that because I wanted it and because in Vegas at the time, there was a big demand for like houses to rent houses. And there were like 4 or 5 other people that applied for this house. But I really liked it. So what I did is I used one of the concepts from the book. It's called outer intention. Someone's outer intention is your— someone else's inner intention is your outer intention. So I knew that their desire was to have someone in the house that would take good care of the house, that would probably appreciate the house. So what I did is I shared with them and I said, hey, I work from home. I'm young, but I don't I don't run crazy parties or anything like that. And I really appreciate your house. I loved, I said some things about it. Like it was like a, a boot, like almost like a Zen style house. It was one story, love one story houses. So I was like, I sent him a letter basically saying, love your house, would love to live in it. I know you've got 4 or 5 other applications on it right now. This is who I am. This is what I do. And I promise to appreciate your house in the way in which you guys appreciate it. Then when I would visualize it, I would visualize it as I was going to bed, as it was normal, not as it was on a pedestal. What would my daily routine in that house be? How would I walk around that house? I remember specifically waking— I'd visualize myself waking up in the master bedroom because I did a walkthrough of the house, so I knew what it psychologically looked like. And then I imagined myself doing my morning routine, making videos in one of the rooms. Ended up making it in the living room instead of that room. But like I had all this visualization around it and then it just eventually felt normal and natural. It wasn't on a pedestal. And it was kind of like I surrender. I'm good either way, whether I got the house or not. Because I realized that my ego may have thought it knew what best, but it's like maybe there's something better if it doesn't work out. So, it kind of took that importance off the pedestal. And then guess what ended up happening? I didn't get in the house, but it was once I let go of outcome, it's once I saw it as natural, um, and it's once I kind of surrendered. And, and also I knew— here's the other thing, here's one of the biggest things, you ready? I thought I would think to myself, if I live in this house and I feel very free, I know I'll make more of a difference in the world and I'll help more people. It wasn't just about me. It was about the people that were renting me out the house. And then it was about the collective of like, think about all the videos I can make that can impact people all over the world. And ironically enough, when I lived in that house, I lived there for a year, I grew a lot. My YouTube channel completely blew up. I think I was probably at 200,000 or 300,000 followers, probably 200,000 followers by the time I moved in that house. So when I moved out, it was probably like or $500,000. I probably doubled in that year. Things just grew. But look at the attention with the energy there. This is why I think when you get into a flow state, there's no importance. Nothing's on a pedestal. You're connected to it differently. So you being in magnetic energy— so another idea of that Reality Transurfing book right away, it's very, um, kind of esoteric. It's this idea of pendulums, thought forms, pendulums. Any— like, your thoughts have form in a way. And the idea is that when you listen to music, when you're watching certain things, even political figures, whether you like it or hate it, you are feeding it energy. And the idea is that these pendulums have effect in our life because of the things that trigger us. Because of the things that really activate us, and it takes up our life force energy. And we might think we're thinking our own thoughts. We're actually thinking the thoughts of the pendulum. So there's pendulums around sports. Every sports team is a pendulum. Every musical artist is a pendulum. Every political figure is a pendulum. And by the way, the pendulums that have the most power are the pendulums that are the most polarizing. So even if you fight what you don't like, it grows. So these pendulums in the world will use our thought force energy. I know this is very esoteric, by the way, but it's part of this book that I'm talking about. And the idea is that the only way you defeat a pendulum— do you guys know what it is? Some of you know of these concepts I'm talking about right now. There's only one way to defeat a pendulum. What? You want to know what it is? Pendulum, to defeat it, you observe it. I was trying to think of something funny to say, but I couldn't think of it in the moment. What was it? What was so funny? Have you ever noticed that you can't, you can't force being funny? You can't force someone to love you. Certain things you just can't force. You have to be surrendered and allowed to receive it. So the only way that you observe a pendulum, it then doesn't have power over you. Why do I keep attracting or looking for the same thing? You'll attract situations into your life that reflect back the unresolved energy from childhood many times, or the unresolved energy inside of yourself based on the current level you're at of what you're learning or integrating. I'd ask you the same question. Why do you keep looking for the same thing? Why are you looking for the answer outside of you when the answer is inside of you and you know it? Sometimes we block ourselves from knowing things though because we believe that the answer is outside of us. Yeah, so pendulums. These thought forms, observe them rather than react. Would you guys want me to do a whole live or video on this idea of Reality Transurfing and the different topics of it? One of the main things I wanted to share today about this though, and is the connection, because sometimes that process can feel a little bit emotionally cold because it's like everything you can imagine already exists. Let it be natural for you. Like right now, anything. you feel lack in your life. Like the most money I've ever made, it was when I was the least focused on money. It's when I was just having fun. I was in a flow state. And the way to get to the next level is to continue having fun, being in a flow state, adding value, making it more about than just you. But growth comes as a response to your energy. But it's like, if you can let it be natural for you, that's where the power is. That makes sense. Does that make sense? How do I find a way to express myself on social media in a deeply fulfilling way? Here's— you guys want the best example? Okay, very powerful point here. Importance. Anything you make important, you create resistance. When you get on social media, if you're making it important for how people view you, you're You're putting resistance into it. If it's important because if they like you, then you're enough, there's a lot of importance. If you make one piece of content, that one piece of content, a lot of importance. One of the reasons I make lots of content is because when I make lots of content, I'm in a flow state and not only one piece of content is so important that it creates resistance. So this is why for me, making daily videos is easier than making one video a week. That one video a week becomes very, very important. And it's very important, there's a lot of resistance. So why for me, making lots of content allows— not one piece of content isn't that important because it's just getting to a flow state, having the system set up so it goes out where it needs to go out, but there's less importance there. So how do you find a way to express yourself on social media in a deeply fulfilling way? You put in reps. That's it. Your first 20 pieces of content you make are just for you. The reps you put in, the more comfortable you get. People feel what you feel about you, and the more reps you put in, the more comfortable you get. So it's just reps. Reps is a way of decreasing the level of importance. Can you guys see that flow state? Two or three of my tattoos are connected to that reality transfer. This is called the wave of success. I have a Uh, this one right here is on pendulums. Like, these, these ideas are very powerful parts, I think, of my subconscious in a way, and how I share this stuff. Kind of sounds nice, isn't it? Put that up. I was like, what if I go live and it's like annoying? But I'm like, you know what, it enhances the vibe. I think it's enhancing the vibe or what? So wanting it blocks it. Let go of wanting it. You let go of wanting it by decreasing the level of importance you give it and realizing you're good either way. Everyone type in, I'm good either way. You're good whether it happens, it doesn't happen. You're good whether people like you or not. It's not your job to make things happen. It's not your job to get people's approval or validation. And remember, It's like the analogy, the reality you want to experience already exists. You don't have to create it. You energetically tune to it by being it. It's natural. And then people say, well, I'm being it. And you might feel cringe for a while. Cringe literally means you just haven't put the reps in yet. Cringe might also mean that you're judging yourself. Cringe is a necessary part if you want to bridge your reality from tuning to the the History Channel on a television metaphor, if you want to bridge the reality, the repetitions you put in will feel cringe at first. It will feel cringe when you start watching David Attenborough on National Geographic when you've been watching History Channel and Vikings your entire life. You're going to be like, this isn't stimulating enough. People aren't dying. Their heads aren't being cut off like in Vikings. There's no charismatic leader like Ragnar with his really bright blue eyes. Why am I watching this guy's voice talk about penguins? I don't like that. It's just not stimulating enough for me. I want this over here. You fight for familiar, right? Which is why, by the way, use that analogy with attracting love. You might be like on the channel of History Channel where it's like, this reminds me of mom and dad, where mom and dad didn't choose me. So being single feels familiar. But look at this relationship over here on this channel. You're like, yeah, but that's uncomfortable and you'll have to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is scary. I don't wanna see David Attenborough talk about penguins. That's boring. You know where the excitement is? Highs and lows. I really like highs and lows. Give me highs and lows. I don't know where this accent's coming. I've never, I've never used this accent in my life, by the way, but I kind of like it. I'm not going over here. I'm gonna, I wanna go back to what's familiar. What I know is I feel abandoned. They don't choose me. But over here, there's penguins and David Attenborough and a soothed, regulated nervous system. No, this is right about reality. I will feel guilty if I go over here because mom and dad were not allowed to watch the National Geographic. We just know Vikings where people cut their heads off, even though Vikings is an incredible show. Like I said, do you see the difference? See the difference there? It already exists. It already exists. Gotta let go of wanting it. Start being it. So anyways, what if I did it? What if I did like a 10-day or a 21-day challenge on letting go of importance and being it? Is that something you guys would be interested in? How do you manifest your desires and not make it important? Manifestation. I'm going to manifest it. My ego is going to manifest it to happen. There's manifestation from the ego, and then there's a connection to a higher self or God. This is why I don't really talk about manifestation that much anymore, because a lot of times manifest comes from like the root word meaning hand, meaning you create it. You create your own reality. You are on History Channel You want to go to National Geographic, you have to hire a production team, you have to hire photographers, you have to hire David Attenborough, and you have to create it because you create your own reality. No, you don't. You don't create your own reality. It already exists. It already exists in the quantum field. Okay? It's really, really important when you're really, really trying to escape where you are to get over here because over here is better. You do have to kind of become at peace with the History Channel though. Vikings. They become at peace with it. So one of the ways in which you manifest it is by recognizing that God flows through you and that you don't have to control it. You, you can— you put your focus in a certain direction. Do you see? You put your focus in a certain direction. Yeah, regulating the nervous system is also connected to this, this metaphor. You never heard of David Attenborough? National Geographic, Planet Earth. You've heard his voice, I almost guarantee it. He's got probably one of the most famous voices. Who would you say is the most famous voice? You got Morgan Freeman, pretty famous voice. I think of, uh, that one movie Shawshank Redemption. Who else has a really famous voice? David Attenborough. Nice. Yeah, if you guys want me to talk more about this understanding that what you want already exists, you don't have to create it, you start choosing it. That's when things really shift. Anthony Hopkins. Yeah, Oprah. These people have very recognizable voices. Anyways, I'm thinking of maybe going live and doing a challenge on this idea soon. That'd be— wouldn't that be fun? We did like a 7-day reality shift challenge or something. I'm thinking of maybe doing that in my Shift Academy, which is my, uh, like my monthly membership. Be like a 7-day thing. Let me know if you guys would join that. Is that something you guys would be excited about? Yeah, part of it, part of it would be about letting God or the divine flow through you letting go of importance, stop wanting it, let it be natural for your identity, how to not put people on a pedestal and how to see them as natural. Maybe we'll do something like that. Let me know if that's something you guys would like. Nice. Cool. I think that's it for now. I got some stuff I got to do today. Gotta be on a meeting soon. Anyways, you guys have fun. Nice. Awesome. I'll see you guys on the next video. A couple things I have going on. I have a live event happening in Sedona, Arizona on October 28th. You can see the link is in my description. And then also, if you want to learn more about the stuff that we're talking about, I'll go deeper on this. I have the Shift Academy, which is my monthly membership that you guys can join, where we do stuff like this. We'll be doing challenges where my Shift Method is as well. Other than that, that's it for now. And I think the link's in my bio. Maybe not. Anyways, I'll talk to you guys later. As always, peace, much love. Peace. And namaste.
