3 Things to Give Up To Open Your Third Eye and Activate Your Pineal Gland

In this instructional video Aaron Doughty explains that opening the third eye—a metaphor for higher perception and consciousness—requires letting go of three limiting patterns. First, he urges viewers to release attachment to labels, dualistic thinking, and egoic identity, encouraging a neutral, non‑judgmental view of experience. Second, he advises abandoning the belief that the third eye is an unattainable, mystical phenomenon, reframing it as a practical, achievable shift in awareness that aligns with one’s own beliefs. Third, he recommends discarding external stimulation and mental distraction (including dietary factors like fluoride and constant mental chatter) to create inner silence, allowing the mind‑heart connection to surface. Throughout, Doughty emphasizes silence, heart‑centered focus, and practical visualization as tools, and points viewers to a related technique video. The tone is conversational and supportive, aiming to make esoteric concepts accessible and actionable.

Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'm going to be sharing with you 3 things you must give up in order to open your third eye. Now I believe that this video can give you a deeper understanding as to what the third eye is and how to go about opening it. In a way that is very relatable because many times when it comes to the idea of the third eye, there's a tendency to think that it's this big mystical thing, that it's something that we can't actually achieve for ourselves. And that's what I'd like to do with this video is clear that idea up. Now let's first off begin with what it means to really open our third eye. And what I like to do for this is to give an example of something that explains the symbolism of what it really means. Now, The third eye normally is attributed towards abilities of extrasensory perception, but what I'm going to be speaking about it is that it can be that, but it can also be an understanding of it from this point of view. Imagine your third eye, which is normally depicted as being right above the brow, like right above, right between this spot right here. Now the idea behind it is that we have our two eyes, which can be symbolized with duality. We have a left eye, we have a right eye, and in our lives we notice the good and bad nature of things. Left, right, good, bad, dark, light. And the idea behind this is that we see the two polar opposites. We're able to see the contrast. Now, the idea behind transcending duality is that when we close our eyes to duality, we close the idea of attachment to labels and identification or our ego. We then open up the third eye, which has a grander level of perception. Can be symbolized by it being a little bit further up. Now the idea behind this is that we're able to see in a more clear sense. There's much more clarity from this point of view, and then that is the perception of what our third eye can see. Now we could see this as because the cloudiness of the mind, because the muddiness of sometimes the identification of thoughts can bring by closing our eyes to those identification and to those forms. We open up clarity. We allow there to be less stimulation, therefore allowing us the clarity to use it. The idea is that everyone's third eye can be open if they simply become more adhered to the silence and if they simply decide to let go of the identity of their ego. Now that can be something maybe that's easier said than done, but the first step of this process and the thing that we must let go of to really open our third eye is just that it's the identification to labels and the identification to duality being good and bad. Now this doesn't mean that we completely look at it and we're ignorant to the fact that those exist. It means simply that we aren't attached to one being better than the other. We aren't attached to things being a certain way, and by not having that attachment, we allow ourselves to then see from a higher point of view. It allows us to really neutralize the different perspectives. Now we could also see this, and I talk about this a lot on my channel, the idea that everything in our life is inherently neutral depending upon what meaning we give to certain things. That's the effect that we get out of it. Now the power in having this understanding is that it allows you to raise the consciousness to being able to see and to relabel, to reform certain circumstances in our own life. This allows us to detach from certain perspectives that hold us down because in order to see from that higher perspective, we must let go of the things that we're attached to. And if we're attached to these perspectives that say that we're victims, perspectives that say that that is good, this is bad, then what we're doing is we're entrained into that way of thinking. So if we simply decide to observe our thoughts, if we decide to neutralize the meanings of things in our life, we will inherently then allow ourselves the ability to see from this higher point of view. This point of view is a higher level of awareness. This point of view is seeing everything as equally good or bad, but it sees it as whatever we make it. It's understanding that our beliefs are creating our reality, and with this level of perception, we're able to understand people at a different level. We're able to have a more empathic feeling towards other people, which some people call that extra sensory perception, but the idea is that we're able to see things more as they are rather than having some charge as to what we think they can be. So this is the power, and this can also let go of so much resistance by doing this. But understand that when you stop labeling things as good or bad, when you stop being attached to certain identification, if you're not attached to thinking your ego is just what it claims itself to be, you start to raise your awareness and you can see it from a higher point of view because then you can choose your perspectives. From conscious awareness rather than being the victim of the stimulation and the thoughts. Now, the second thing that we must give up in order to open our third eye is the belief that it can't happen or believing that it is this mystical type experience. Now, of course it can be attributed to having an experience that we've never had before, but when we distance ourselves with our beliefs and thinking that it has to be this thing that is really far outside of what we believe, we end up distancing it from actually happening. So the key to this is understanding that this can happen for you. And if you simply decide that you can have this kind of experience, if you simply realize that your beliefs are creating your reality, then you become aware that this doesn't have to be some woo-woo type idea. This can be something that's really rooted in also the Eastern idea and philosophy of understanding. It can be much more practical than believing that this is the psychic abilities. And I'm not saying it can't be that, but what I am saying is that you can align it to what you believe to be true and you can align it to your own thought process so that it's something that actually resonates with you. So become aware of what you believe to be true. Ask yourself the question, what do I believe to be true about the third eye? Do I believe that this is something that is too mystical for me? Do I believe that this is something that is hard to do? Our beliefs and our definitions will create the effect that we get out of it, and we must transcend that. Now, at a certain level, these logical ideas I'm sharing, these beliefs might— can be transcended altogether with the first thing that we let go of when it comes to the attachment to things being good or bad, attachment to those definitions. But it is so important in the process, so I feel like it must also be acknowledged. So let go of the beliefs of it being hard. Understand it does not have to be something mystical. It can be something practical that you you can apply. And that's really what all these videos on this channel are about. And that's my intention is making these things that may seem woo woo to make them practical, easy to understand and easy to apply. Now the third thing to let go of when it comes to understanding the third eye has to do with letting go of stimulation and distractions. Now the reason this is important is because you can think of stimulation as foods that don't serve us. You can think stimulation in the sense of fluoride. Fluoride is known to decalcify the pineal gland. Letting go of these things allows us to open our perception and allows us to really think for ourselves. Now the thing to really let go of is the mental chatter and understanding that when you begin to listen to silence, that's where you open up the space for this to happen. Now open up and listen for silence. This for me was a game changer. If you right now to listen for silence, what you'll notice is you open up some space within you. That space is where this experience will come through. It will come through not so much with the beliefs, not so much with all the thinking and the logical understandings and the egoic frame of reference. It will come through only when you begin to make the space and you listen for it. Now that's the missing key for so many people. That's what I wanted to share with you. Listen for the silence. Understand that we can pave the way with the first two things that we let go of and how we redirect it, but beyond that, it's about creating the space and transcending the egoic thinking. And in order to do that, you must let go of stimulation. You must let go of distraction. And by listening to that silence, you will allow it to become more present for you. You will also become more present within your body rather than in the head, connected to the heart space. I have a video that was on a powerful technique for doing so. It's the quickest way to open your third eye is to connect your mind to your heart, to have that connection, and then to focus on the feeling, to focus on a visualization exercise. And what I'll do is I'll link that video as an end card to this video in case you want to know more about that. So remember the 3-step process to really being able to do it and really the things you must let go of. Have to do with understanding that you must let go with attachment to the identity, the attachment to the ego. The second thing is, as you let go of it being a mystical type experience, as you let go of the definitions holding you back, you make it much easier to happen. And then thirdly, what you can let go of is the stimulation and the overthinking. Open up the space within you by listening for silence, and as you do that, you can connect it to your heart space and you will start to get profound results. So with that being said, I hope you you guys enjoyed this video.
