In this video, I'm going to share with you 3 things that you must give up in order to feel positive emotion instantly. I'm going to share with you processes and practical tools to make that something that is able to happen right now. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'm going to be sharing with you the 3 things that I've let go of in my own life so that I'm able to feel very confident very quickly. Now, if you were to ask random people that know me, so they're not random to me, but maybe to you they are. If you were to ask them what is one thing, like the first word that comes to mind when it comes to me, it probably have to do something with being a very positive and like a high energy person. Now, I've always been considered more of a positive person. I went through a lot of stuff in my childhood that made me kind of see things from a new point of view. And once I got to that place, I felt very good since then. And what I want to do is share with you the perspectives that I let go of that has allowed me to be much more happy and to feel positive and very optimistic of the future and kind of just to also have high energy towards what I'm doing. You know, I have a lot of energy. I don't drink caffeine, not that there's anything wrong with it. You know, I find myself very, you know, by able to do these 3 things and to let go of them, you're going to start to feel more energy and to feel more happy. A majority of the time just by doing that alone. So the first thing that you must let go of to feel positive emotion is any negative meaning that we are tagging the situations in our life. Now this is something I have talked about a lot in the channel, that every situation is fundamentally neutral, that we tag the meaning as to what things mean, and that's the effect we get out of it. So what we can learn to do is to neutralize any negative meanings we have By knowing we can see it from a more holistic point of view, a more neutral point of view, and then we can tag positive meaning on it. Now let me give a totally new way for looking at the ideas of positive and negative. Now normally we think of positive in the form of something that's good and negative in the form of something that's bad. Let's think about it in a completely new way. Positive is anything that is integrative, that is connective. Negative is anything that is separating or segregative. So in the form of if we have a negative definition definition, what that means is that definition takes us away from the natural core of who we are. It takes us away from the present moment. It takes us away from trusting the process. Anything that is positive is connected. It's us seeing events as connected. Say something happens in your life where something comes up and it was kind of like a wrench thrown in the gears and you weren't expecting it. If we label that as something as negative, it is separated. It is separated from trusting the process, but If something happens and you're like, hmm, there's a reason that this happened, I am not going to jump to conclusions and assume that it's negative. That's when we'll really start to gain the ability to bypass any negative situations. And because we're not labeling it as being negative and instead we're labeling it as either being neutral or something positive that we can learn from, we will then get that effect out of it. There's been so many times that negative things have happened in my life, especially over the last 5 or 6 years, and I just simply chosen I'm going to see this from a positive point of view. I'm going to choose that something positive will come out of this. One of my favorite quotes, and I used to always tell my little brother this, I remember, is from the book called Think and Grow Rich. And Napoleon Hill said that with every negative situation, there is a seed that's planted with the equal proportion of positivity in it. And I'm paraphrasing there, but it's the idea that if you choose and you hold the frame for there is some type of positive in here, you will eventually see it. Now this also gives us the question, are there any negative labels or any negative definitions that we have tagged as to who we are, as to certain situations? And if so, what you can ask yourself is one simple question. What would I have to believe is true to be feeling this way? And as you start to ask yourself that question, you're going to start to feel and see what that is and you can then decide to neutralize it by seeing it from the other point of view. How could this be something that's positive? If it's something, a lesson that you're learning from, you could look at that lesson and be like, what can I learn from this? Maybe you can learn that next time you won't go down that route. Maybe next time you won't go around that person. If there's a certain person that's making you feel a certain way, you'll just be aware of what that is. Not in a judgmental way. You're just aware of what it is and now you can make a change in the future. So neutralize any negative meaning by understanding that everything is fundamentally neutral anyways, and that you can tag a positive meaning onto that. I just choose to see things as positive and therefore I experienced that effect. And it's not like some fake positive, like I'm like, I'm happy, I'm happy, I'm happy. It's just like I see things as a part of the process and because I trust the process, I feel more confident about it. And that's what the root of confidence is. It means to trust. So I trust the process. And I encourage you to do the same. Now, the second thing that you must let go of in order to feel positive instantly is any negative people or negative environments. Now I want to ask you a question. Look around right now in your environment, and as you're looking around, do the things that you see give you a positive association or make you feel positive emotion? If you're in a very inspiring environment, you will feel inspired and you'll feel positive. If you're in an environment that constantly reminds yourself that you don't want to be there, or it reminds yourself of negative things, then you will experience those negative effects. Are there people around you that you meet up with every day that maybe constantly remind you of things you haven't done well before? They constantly remind you and are complaining about their job, or they're bringing you down with the conversations that you're having. As you become aware of what those things are, you're able to cultivate an environment of positivity. Now this means that what are you inputting on a daily basis? Are you watching television that doesn't serve you? Are you watching reality TV? Reality TV? And how is that making you feel? As you become aware of these things, let go of the things that no longer serve. Being positive isn't necessarily about trying to attain a new perspective. It's more about letting go of what just doesn't serve. Let go of the television shows that don't serve you. Let go of being around the people as much that are negative. And if you say, oh, what if it's family members? You can always determine your own state of being. And what you can do is you can still determine where you put and allocate your time. You can do the best you can, but you got to realize you've got to make yourself happy first before you can really make other people happy. So focus on you and your own environment and start to input positive sources. Read biographies of people that have accomplished what you want to accomplish. Read things that are inspiring to you that make you feel positive emotion. Look around your room and decide, are the things I see, do they bring up positive emotion? And if not, get rid of them, put them in the closet or do whatever you have to do and start to put things that actually inspire you. Our environment subconsciously is sending us signals all the time, and one easy way to change how positive we feel is to cultivate that environment in a powerful way and to start to make decisions that align to it. So that's also very powerful because a lot of our environment is on autopilot. It's like this, we're around the same things every day, so we feel the same way. It triggers the same emotions. What you can do is maybe rearrange your room in a powerful way. You'll find that you start to feel different about it. Rearrange and start to put things that are inspiring around you, and most importantly, start to associate with people that are very positive and that are more like how you prefer to be. The third thing that we must let go of in order to feel more positive has to do with any negative body posture or any negative self-talk. So understand that the way you feel about yourself right now, a lot of it has to do with your physiology. This is something I shared in another recent video. How are you carrying yourself? How is your breathing? Is it deep or is it very shallow? How are you looking at yourself? How are you focused on your environment? All of these things, all of these things go into what we are experiencing. And the key to this is knowing that if we change our body posture, we will literally start to feel different about ourselves. This is something that I saw in a TED Talk with Amy Cuddy on how body language shapes who we are. And basically the main message of that talk was that if you stand in a power pose, which is where you stand in either the Superman or the Superwoman, and you stand with your hands at your hips, you stand with your chest up, your chin level, and you stand like this for just 2 or 3 minutes a day, you are literally releasing more of the hormones in your body associated with confidence and you're reducing the amount of cortisol, which is the stress hormone. So you will start to feel different about yourself just by standing in a certain way every day. And one thing you can really become more aware of, and it's something that I had to catch myself over and over again, is anytime our body is linked more like this, it kind of caves in. When we cave in our heart like this, we will start to feel more separated from our environment. And remember, negativity is about separation, not necessarily being bad. We want to feel connected to other people, and one way to do that is to literally stick your heart out. Put your body language in a better position, have your posture become better, and put your heart towards the world, and that's going to make you start to feel different about yourself. So this is about knowing that as we really change our physiology, everything begins to change. What you can do is every day do the power pose. For just 5 or 10 minutes and you could do that maybe 2 or 3 times throughout your day. So maybe 2 minutes here, 2 minutes there, 2 minutes at the end of the day and watch how you begin to see yourself in a new way as well. But we must let go of any negative body posture. We must start to be more open to the world. We must start to trust our environment and trust our own thoughts. And the only way to do that is to start to associate them with being something that is positive. And that's why the— remember the 3 things that you can begin to let go of to feel positive emotion instantly. Is first off, any negative connotation, any negative meaning that we are entraining onto the situation. That secondly, as we are able to cultivate our environment in a powerful way and let go of the people that no longer serve, let go of any negative associations that we might have around us, we will start to feel more confident. Third thing you can do is let go of any negative body posture. Let go of keeping your body posture in. Become more aware of how you're standing. Do the power pose for just a couple minutes a day and watch how it changes your life. So with that being said, I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Feel free to like this video if you liked it.
