3 Things to Give Up to Attract A Relationship Using the Law of Attraction

Aaron Doughty identifies three blocks to attracting a relationship: jealousy toward others, limiting beliefs about being single, and passivity. He recommends building self-love, releasing past relationship baggage, and actively joining groups where you might meet someone.

This video will show you 3 things that block attracting a relationship into your life. I'm going to show you ways around this so that you're able to attract the perfect person for you. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'm going to be sharing with you those 3 things that block a relationship, and the idea behind this video is to give you a practical understanding of some things that aren't serving you so that you're able to be the best version of yourself and then able to attract the person that you want. Now with this process, understand that the most important part is the letting go of the outcome. Now that could in itself be one of the things that I talk about, but when it comes to this, the main thing that I'm going to be explaining is how you must resonate with already having a relationship, and one powerful way to do that is to focus on your relationship with yourself. Now the reason this is so important is because many times we're going to label and we're going to say that I'm not attracting a relationship or that this is something— as we focus on it not being there, we create more resistance with the process. So this is why the first thing that blocks attracting a relationship has to do with feeling jealous of other people being in a relationship or the feeling of the resistance in general. So if we look and we are focused on our ex, for example, and maybe our ex ex found a relationship. The idea is that by focusing on that and having the perspective of not wanting them to be doing what they're doing, what we are doing is we are aligning ourselves with the feeling of being single and the feeling of not having that there. Now what I mean by that is imagine that you are in the best relationship you could possibly be in right now. Imagine you're with that person, you're having a great time. How would you look at your ex being in a relationship, or how would you look at other couples maybe that are like doing PDA or something, you would look at them and you wouldn't care or you wouldn't have any negative resentment because your cup is already full. You already feel good about who you are. You already feel good about your own situation. So the idea is that if we align ourselves with already having that perspective, with already having that awareness and that trust in ourselves, that they can be on their own journey, they can have their experience. Of whatever that is, but we trust in our own life. We trust in our own process, and we know that as we trust the process, things are going to line themselves up for us. So this is why it's so important in letting go of any negative emotion, letting go of any resistance towards an ex, towards anybody else that is having and doing what they want to do. The second thing that we must give up has to do with something that I've spoken about many times before, but it has to do with giving up beliefs that don't serve us, giving up the identifications and the labels that may be holding us back. So this has two parts to it. The first part is if we are attached to the label of being single and we in a way think that there's like some type of a clock to it, like it's been this long and this hasn't happened yet, the idea is that we create inner resistance with it and that ends up becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. So it's almost like the more that we focus on it, the more that we create that momentum in our own life. But if we were to simply realize that we could let it go, just not focus on it so much, or not focus on being single as being a bad thing— being single could be that you have freedom to do what you want to do, that you can start to appreciate that aspect of it. And then as you do that, you will naturally let go of the resistance. Now the second part is realizing that we must let go of the limiting beliefs we have about who we attract. Attract into our life. Maybe we always attract a certain type of person that we don't prefer, or maybe we always have problems attracting to begin with. The idea is that we must let go of those beliefs because those beliefs are self-fulfilling prophecies. Now, the best way to do that is to simply be aware that our prior experiences were nothing more than experiences. We can be grateful that they happened. But the past does not have to equal the present or the future. When we become aware of the thoughts that are attained within that past, when we become aware of the thoughts we're thinking now, we can decide to let them go and we could decide that that doesn't have to equal what we experience now. So this means that we neutralize past experiences. If we were in certain relationships that didn't serve us, we don't need to condemn them. We don't need to look at them in a negative light. We can be aware that they were there. We can be grateful that we had something to learn from it, and as we neutralize it, we then let go of the charge that it has. So if you always attracted a guy that didn't treat you the right way, or if you always attracted a girl that acted a certain way, what you can do is instead of being charged with it and thinking that that's always what I experience, simply neutralize it, see the benefit of it, and then just simply let it go. And as you let it go, you are also letting go of all the baggage that comes with it and you're making it much more likely that your next relationship won't have those same characteristics because if it does have that charge, there's a likelihood that that charge will be in the next relationship in some level. So if we let go of it now, we let go of that probability. Now the third thing that we must let go of is thinking that it's always just going to come to us. Now of course with the idea of attraction, There is a level of us attracting the experiences in it, but it's also about understanding that we must take action to align ourselves to those opportunities. Think of taking action as opening up opportunities. If you sit at your house and your intention is to attract a relationship, it's not as probable as if you push yourself outside of your own comfort zone. Maybe you decide and you think to yourself, Where are the people that I want to be in a relationship? What kind of values do they have? If you understand and you go to where those people are, you increase the likelihood by so much. So think of it like maybe you do yoga or you want to get into yoga. What you could do is go and do activities with yoga, like in a yoga group. As you do that, you're around and you're surrounding yourself around those people to where then it's much more likely that you're going to find that person. You could realize there's certain activities you could do. There's certain groups of friends that you could push yourself to be around. There's certain meetup groups you could be a part of. As you start to look at it from this point of view and you realize that under the old realm of thinking, under the old autopilot mind, maybe when somebody invites you out, you naturally would say, no, I'm not going to go out tonight. You know, this, uh, you know, whatever excuse you have. You could start to say, what if I do? What if, as you get into the unknown, which is uncomfortable, you open up so many opportunities that could happen. So realize that it's also about taking action and aligning yourself, finding the people that have the values that you want. And as you go out and you do things and you put yourself in those situations, you increase the probabilities tenfold. So remember, that all you have to do is let go of these 3 things that are holding you back from experiencing the kind of relationship you want. The first one is letting go and understanding that you don't need to feel the resistance, that as you let go of being jealous of other people, as you let go of the resistance and you start to focus on the benefit, or at least the neutralization of being single, that then you start to let that go. That secondly, Let go of the limiting beliefs that you have about relationships. Let go of the real identification with being single and what that means. And as you do that, you're going to feel like there was a weight lifted off your back. And thirdly, let go of thinking that it's all about sitting around. Put yourself in the situations, put yourself around the people that have the same values that you have, and you will then open up opportunities and you'll find that you increase the probability.
