3 Visualization Mistakes that BLOCK Manifestation (Law of Attraction BLOCKS)

Aaron Doughty breaks down three visualization mistakes that block manifestation: watching from outside instead of through your own eyes, treating it as a future goal rather than a present feeling, and practicing sporadically. He recommends first-person imagery, focusing on emotions now, and committing to daily sessions.

This video will show you the top 3 visualization mistakes that people make that actually block the law of attraction from working. I'm going to share with you ways to counteract that so that you're able to achieve and become who you prefer to be. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'm going to be talking about the process of visualization the top mistakes people make and how we can counteract that. Now this process has to do with understanding the underlying basis for the whole part of why we even do visualization. And you might say to yourself, well, are there certain things that could really block the process versus just, you know, isn't it still a little bit better even though if I do certain things? Well, it could be, but a lot of times what happens is if we cause resistance in the process of visualization, we are actually backtracking ourselves. Sometimes the easy easiest thing that we can do is actually to let go of the outcome altogether rather than just continuously think about things over and over again. Now, first off, let's understand the power of visualization and why it's important to do. Well, when we are in the process of visualizing, our brain many times won't know the difference between what we are imagining and what is actually happening. So then from a certain point of view, the benefit becomes us being able to prime our brain in a very powerful way. And since our brain won't know the difference between what is happening to what we are imagining, what we can do is create reference experiences right now in the present moment. And then of course, through repetition, doing those reference experiences over and over again, we begin to also reprogram our subconscious mind. Now, many times with visualization, it's important to understand as well that it's all about the feeling. We can think about certain things, we can imagine certain things, but if there's no feeling underneath that, then we aren't really doing it justice. We should have the feeling that that is who we are, that that's what we prefer to experience, and that's when things really begin to change. Now, the first mistake people most often make with visualization is that when they are visualizing, they are seeing themselves in a movie. So imagine you're looking at a movie screen and it's like you're watching yourself do certain activities. You watch yourself maybe, you know, going walking around your really nice house or being with a specific type of person. You imagine those things, but you're looking at it from more of a third person point of view. You're looking at it more like you're looking in a window at yourself doing these types of things. Now the mistake with this is that we don't actually identify with it. Now this is the reason some people might ask me, they might say, well, what about horror movies or watching like certain type of movies? The idea is Can you attract that into your life if you're watching the movie? Well, it could be and it could not be. It depends on how much you identify with the movie you're watching. So for example, there are certain movies that we watch that we just kind of suspend our belief that we'll go in there, we might feel a certain way, which could definitely impact parts of our life. But what we do is after that, we let go of thinking that that has any power over our current life experience. However, if you strongly identify with the person in the movie, if you strongly identify with thinking that that could happen in your life, then it may start to gain momentum. Now, in the same way, what you can begin to do in the visualization process is to imagine it as if you're looking to and through your own eyes. Now, what this does is this makes you relate to it in a much more powerful way. This then triggers the mind because the mind doesn't know the difference between what it imagines and what is actually happening. But that only works if you're looking through your own eyes in the visualization. So you imagine yourself walking around the house, how would it feel to be looking at some specific person or whatever it is. The idea is that you look through it through your own eyes. That will make a big difference in the whole process because you relate to it in a completely new way. You change that, you're going to start to feel much more connected to your visualizations. You'll start to evoke much more emotion and you'll set yourself up to really becoming the kind of person that you want to become. Now, the second people— second mistake people make with visualization is they believe that visualization will get them to some external point in the future. Now, this will completely revolutionize the whole way that you see the visualization process. You are not visualizing because that will get you anywhere else than you currently already are. It's not going to get you over there. It's not going to get you what you don't already have in your life. Realize that you have the power to make yourself feel any emotion that you want right now in the present moment through just giving yourself permission to feel certain emotions through feeling gratitude. Now, the reason this is, is because when you think you're doing this to get that, you put that in the future. You put that, whatever the outcome is, in the future. Make visualization an end in itself. Visualize because it feels good. Feels good. Visualize because it allows you to feel the emotions that you want. Make visualization the process itself and the end in itself. Because if we do something dependent on the outer reflection, if we're saying, I'm doing this because then I get that reflection that I want, then we're being dependent on the outcome. We're not really letting go of the process. Make visualization something that you do because it's who you prefer to be. You are practicing a vibrational train of thought and you're practicing who you prefer to be. Doing that will change the way you see the process. You'll no longer be feeling like you're doing something because this will get you over there and this will get you something you don't already have. You're doing it because it's who you naturally are. It's the emotions you prefer to feel because it's the vibration that you are practicing and as you practice it, you are lining up with opportunities that are in your life. You are allowing yourself to become the best possible version of who you prefer to be. The third visualization mistake that many people make has to do with only doing it every now and again. Now we might do it just when we remember to do it. We might do it just like 2 or 3 days in a row and then completely forget about it. The power of it is practicing the vibration and the train of thought of who we prefer to be, and in order to really influence our subconscious mind, We must do it with repetition. Repetition is the key to this whole game because the more you practice that, the more you become it. Now, just to make it easy for you guys, I created a free MP3 guided meditation that will reprogram your subconscious mind that invokes a visualization process that is very powerful. It's something you can listen to right before you go to bed at night, something I recommend you listen to for 21 days in a row, and through doing that you will start to change your self-image. Feel completely different and you'll allow yourself to really become who you prefer to be. Now that's something I'm giving away for absolutely free. You can download that in the description box below, and by doing that you will then start to reprogram yourself towards getting what you want in your life. So this is why it's something so powerful. The more you do visualization in general, the more you are feeling the emotion, but don't overdo it. This is a funny paradox because if you overdo it and you're, using the second one as well in this, and you're doing it because you think it's going to get you to somewhere you already aren't, you will start to cause the resistance. Do it once or twice a day, but do it every day. Do it every day for that 21 days at least, and I recommend continuing to do it after that. And what you begin to do is you begin to prime yourself in a completely new way. You begin to feel the emotion, practice that in the present moment, and the more that you begin to do that, the better you feel. But have that balance of not doing it too much as long as you aren't feeling the resistance. So remember, the top 3 visualization blocks that hold people back is first off, believing that we are looking into a movie or seeing ourselves look into a movie. Instead, look through it through your own eyes in first-person view. Secondly, believing that visualization is going to get us somewhere where we already are not. What we do is we start to know that we are visualizing because we are practicing the vibration of who we prefer to be. It's how we prefer to go about the process. And thirdly, we decide that we are going to do it repetitiously. We're not just going to do it once for 2 or 3 days in a row and then stop doing it. You can download my free MP3 meditation below. You can use that for at least 21 days, start to develop the habit of it, and you'll find that dramatic things begin to change in your life for the positive.
