3 Ways Your Morning Routine is BLOCKING the Law of Attraction From Working (How to Fix it)

Aaron Doughty breaks down three morning habits that block the Law of Attraction: skipping meditation to reach theta state, failing to set specific intentions for each activity, and neglecting power poses that shift your physiology. Five to ten minutes of meditation, gratitude practice, and energetic movement can reprogram your subconscious to notice what you want.

This video will show you 3 ways that your morning routine is blocking the law of attraction from working. I'm going to share with you ways of fixing that so that you're really able to attract what you want and be who you prefer to be. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now this video, I'm going to be sharing with you more about my own morning routine and how when I made these little tweaks and I let go of doing a couple little things everything began to change. Now understand that with the law of attraction, the most important part of the process is understanding who we are being in the present moment. So this means that even if we're thinking about certain things, unless we actually believe it to be true, unless we actually follow that belief up with the action we're taking so that it gets to a place of being, we won't actually experience it. Now, the most important part of our morning routine is that when we wake up in the morning, we are drifting from a theta brainwave state, which means it's the deepest level of the conscious state that we can be in. So like theta state is a state we can get into in meditation, but when we wake up in the morning, we're drifting from the delta to theta to alpha to beta state, which means we're going up to the conscious brainwave states of activity. Now in the deeper brainwave states is where we have the most influence over our subconscious mind. Now also remember that our subconscious mind runs over 90% of our life experience. So the most important time that we can influence our subconscious mind is right when we wake up in the morning. Now, most people don't have a morning routine. Most people get up and what they might do is they might get straight into their phone, straight into their email, straight into reacting to their environment. Now, that's the first one that we must give up in order to really have a powerful morning routine, is giving up having those little distractions and focusing on anything anything to do with reaction. We want to get to a place of neutrality. We want to get to a place to where we're able to observe what happens. And let me tell you that this is something I learned that absolutely changed my life. When I learned how to meditate, right when I woke up in the morning, I learned how to observe my thoughts and that leaked into other parts of my day. So then I would go throughout my day and if I had something that happened at work or something like that, it was like I was able to observe it and not feed into it, not react to it so much. I became much less judgmental. Now let me tell you why this relates to the law of attraction. Well, the idea is that as we let go of those habitual thoughts that we have and that addictive type thinking, we then let go of resistance that's tied to it. So then we could focus on how we prefer to be and doing and thinking in a way that's actually conducive to what we want to experience. So this is a part of letting go of resistance that is so powerful, and the first thing that I encourage you to do when you wake up in the morning has to do with doing 5 or 10 minutes at least of meditation. Now the reason this is, is because as you put yourself into that observer point of view, that's where you start to realize neutrality. That's where you start to observe your thoughts, the thoughts of your ego, and that's where you let go of all resistance and that will leak into the rest of your day. So develop that meditation practice. It's something that I actually show in my morning routine program. I'm going to link it below. It's something that you can get where You show— I show the exact meditation that I do. It's an interactive type meditation, and then I give you the guided meditations to go along with that as well so that you can learn how to meditate in a very powerful way. And also we go through— it's a 7-day program, so we go through all the different days. There's a day for affirmations, a day for visualization, understand how to incorporate the senses into it as well rather than just the thinking of it. And then how as well with that, there's a guided meditation. So we go through each of those different steps, but I'll link that below for you guys in case you guys are interested. But understand the first part is we must get to a neutral point of view right when we wake up in the morning so that we're able to then consciously start to put our energy where we prefer. So the second thing we must give up when it comes to creating a powerful morning routine is giving up getting up in the morning and going straight to the day. Sometimes people will get up and they'll go straight to eat their breakfast and then go straight to work. The most powerful thing that you can do beyond just meditation is setting time to prime your own mind. Now realize that if you prime your mind, you're going to see patterns throughout the day. That's the way our brain works is whatever we give it right when we wake up in the morning, our brain will interpret meaning and interpret patterns into things that happen. So if we don't consciously create intentions throughout the day, and especially right when we wake up in the morning, we won't be priming ourselves to see certain things. So one of the most powerful priming processes I use is to focus on gratitude. Focus on things that you're already grateful for. When you do this, what you do is you prime yourself for seeing those patterns in your life so that as you go throughout your day, you're much more likely to see those kinds of things and you're much more likely to have those kinds of experiences. Now, this is why I focus on what I want to experience throughout my day when I wake up in the morning. So after my meditation, I do that for about 10 or 15 minutes at least, sometimes even 20 minutes. And then what I do is I think about the ideal day that I want to have. So the night before, what I do as well is I set my intentions for what I want to do the next day. So there's always 3 main leverage activities that I want to do the next day. I write them down before I go to bed. I go into my meditation when I wake up in the morning, and after that I imagine each of those 3 things going very smoothly. I have an intention to do them in a very efficient manner, to do them and feel really good about it, and I imagine myself even checking it off the list. Now this is something that is so powerful because as you prime yourself to do these kinds of things, you find that things just start to happen in a very easy way. Now this also uses a process that is called segment intending. Now this is something I think I've shared from Abraham Hicks before, but segment intending is before you go into certain segments of your day. So think of a segment as you're going to go make your breakfast, you're going to go drive to work, whatever you're doing, that little segment before you do it or as you're going into it, have an intention for it to go a certain way, have an intention for the outcome that you want, and have the faith that it will happen like that. And as you go into it, it's almost like things just happen smoother because you're just linking yourself up with those possibilities. So that's something that's also very powerful. Once again, that's something that I talk about in the program, the 7-Day Ultimate Law of Attraction Morning Routine Program, which will be linked below for you guys. And there's a special discount on it too if you guys get in right away. So feel free to check that out. And then the third thing that we must let go of in order to really have a powerful morning routine is letting go of the physiology that we have, especially if it's physiology that closes us in. If we're having posture where it's like our chest is kind of put in like this or our neck is down like this, understand that the way you move in the morning, the way our body moves and the posture we have affects our own state of being. This is something that I talk about a lot from the TED Talk by Amy Cuddy, which is about how body language shapes who we are. If you stand in what is called a power pose for just a couple minutes a day, what that does is it allows you to feel more powerful. You're literally going to be reducing the amount of cortisol and increasing the amount of testosterone and dopamine in your body, so you're going to be feeling more powerful and that will leak into the rest of your day. So I recommend doing this for about about 2 or 3 minutes, I'd say. Now you don't really need too much of it, but also pay attention in general to your body language. Now if you realize that when you go to work, then you hop right back into that potty posture that you have, that will affect the way that you feel. So become much more aware of what your body posture is. Become aware of how you're moving. Are you moving very quickly? Are you moving in an energetic way? Are you kind of moping around? Because if you get up in the morning and you're used to moving very slowly and maybe you just feel lazy, A lot of that has to do with the physiology. So begin to move quicker. Understand that as you put yourself in empowering positions, you will start to also feel more powerful. And this is something that once again I do in the Law of Attraction Morning Routine program, because when we do our affirmations, it's important to have a certain body language so that we're able to feel what we're saying rather than just think about it. So this is something that is also powerful for understanding how our feeling translates into our physiology and vice versa. And when we start to take control of it, that's where everything begins to change. So remember, the 3 things that you must give up to have a powerful morning routine and really to attract what you want is first off, giving up reacting to the environment, getting up and getting straight into the phone, getting up and, you know, getting straight to email and reacting to all the things that are coming at us every day. Set aside 5 or 10 minutes for a meditation to observe your thoughts through a neutral point of view. Secondly, understand you must set yourself some type of priming method, whether that's affirmations, whether that's segment intending, whatever it is, set your intentions. Most people get up and just go throughout the day. Therefore, things just kind of happen, but maybe not in their favor. Set yourself up for that priming. Thirdly, as you decide to develop a powerful posture and powerful physiology, you'll find that that translates into your feeling as well. So these are 3 things that you can easily apply today. You could start when you wake up tomorrow to do these things. I promise you, you'll start to feel a difference. And as I said, the Law of Attraction Morning Routine program will be in the description box. It is something that I'm giving at a very cheap price for all my subscribers.
