At a Costa Rica retreat, a teacher had the audience send her energy, which felt intrusive and repelling. When they pulled it back into themselves, she felt magnetic attraction. The lesson: projecting need pushes people away, while reclaiming your own energy draws them in.
When we are sending and thinking of someone else, we're sending them energy. I went to this life transformation place in Costa Rica one time and there was a consciousness teacher there. She was teaching energy and she had everyone in the crowd send her energy at the front of the room. Said, "Everyone send me energy. Everyone send me energy. Everyone send me energy." And she said, as everyone is sending her energy, she felt repelled. She's like, "You can feel it's intrusive and it repels you." She goes, "Now everyone in the crowd, bring the energy back in your body. Bring the energy back in your body. Bring the energy back in your body." And she says, "The energy difference is now you guys are magnetic to me because there's a different energy there." Like live events, sometimes I'll have people do exercises where they focus on the separation and feel that energy difference. 'Cause you can feel it energetically when someone wants something from you, they're projecting at you and you're kind of like, no. Energy doesn't lie. People can feel when you want something from them
