Give me 29 min and I'll make you vibrate dangerously high

Aaron Doughty teaches the "frame technique": stop projecting energy toward others through lack-driven thoughts, pull that energy back into your body, and become magnetic instead of depleted. He traces this to childhood conditioning and the difference between nice (agenda-driven) and kind (authentic).

When you think of someone, you are subconsciously sending them energy. And based on how you feel inside of your body, that energy is being projected at them. And what a lot of people don't realize is they may be repelling what they want, or even being able to have other people choose them, because they have subconscious energy that's being projected out that is actually blocking what they want. This is a teaching that is based on an esoteric understanding of how we are all connected. And when I learned it, it allowed me to go from someone that was subconsciously depleting my energy, someone that was feeling drained by trying to please other people, feeling like when I wanted something, I would block that thing or I would block that person because of the subconscious energy underneath the surface. And when I learned the technique that I share with you in this video, it allowed me to go to feeling more magnetically present inside of my body. I went to then being good either way, whether people responded in a certain way or not, and has allowed me to go from someone that's been depleted around people to really living my purpose, doing what I love, traveling the world, creating a movement online. And I believe a huge part of this is because of the technique that I learned that I'm going to share with you in this video. I'm going to show you how subconsciously you may be depleting your energy around others, and I'm going to show you by the end of it exactly what the flip is for you to be more magnetic in your own frame, detached from what other people think, able to feel a visceral difference in how you show up so that you really become who you came here to be. Now, the first thing to understand about this is this is something that I learned actually back at a transformation place in Costa Rica. There was a consciousness teacher there who was at the front of the room, and what she said was, everyone right now send me energy at the front of the room. And we all did that. So there we were, we're like, like Cyclops sending energy. And what she said, okay, 'When you send me energy, there's a repellent effect. It feels intrusive. It's like energy is coming out of your body towards me, and it's depleting your own energy field.' And I thought about that. I thought that was interesting. Like, when you think of wanting something from someone else or putting yourself out there, you think projecting energy at them is good for them. Mm-mm-mm. It's not that way. You're actually depleting your energy. So what she said is, 'Try this now.' She said, what you're going to do is you're just going to feel the energy back inside of your body. Feel the space between you and me. And what happened is then she said, now there's a magnetizing effect. Makes me literally want to lean into the room, lean into all of you. And I thought that was a very interesting idea, a little thought metaphor. And I'm like, okay, this lady says that, but does it really work for us? So I started to try it. I started to carry, carry myself and actually focus on the separation instead of the projection. And very quickly you start to feel more almost like structural integrity inside of yourself. You start to feel less affected by what other people do, and you also have more body awareness inside of yourself. So this is what planted the seed back in the day. And at my live events, one thing I'll do is I'll put people in groups and I'll have people literally separate and feel the separation between themselves and then feel the difference and then project energy at the other person and feel the difference. And people, it's unanimous, people feel the difference, which comes from a more ancient understanding of how we're all connected. So first off, that's kind of like the mechanism itself. Let's look at a few different ways in which this relates, and you'll start to see how you can apply this in different levels of your life. Now, the next thing to look at is this. When you think of other people, you know, you could think of this and be like, okay, Aaron, this sounds like a really powerful way for me to understand how I'm connected to people. And then what you're saying is just stop sending energy, I'm gonna get everything I want. In a way, this teaching will help you understand of subconsciously what you're doing and you're not aware of it. And it'll help you understand how to embody, how to be present and inside your own field where you're good either way, because you start to own your energy in a new way. So in a way, I'm not telling you this so that you go and you know how to like manipulate everything that's happening in the world. It's more so how you can like be present inside of yourself and understand this, this energy difference. And here's really what's happening, by the way, is how you feel in your body repels based on the emotion you have if it's lack. Now think about it in the form of lack and in the form of abundance, okay? Think about it these two ways. If you are thinking of someone else and you feel lack from them, You want them to come around, you want them to text you back, and you're like, why aren't they texting me back? Why aren't they texting me back right now? Why aren't they doing it? And then you're thinking, I want that. Well, you're feeling lack in your body and you're thinking of them, and what happens is that energy gets projected out. And then a lot of times, you want to know what else happens? You ready for this? You think to yourself subconsciously, who do I need to be to get them back? Who do I need to be to get them to like me? So there's this depletion of energy, and you abandon you because you're tuning to them. So you've already left you. And guess what? People treat you the way that you treat you and the way that your energy shows up. So if you're abandoning you, you are treating yourself in a way that other people will mirror that because people are a reflection. So think about it like your energy being sent at them, and what happens is you may, you may deplete yourself because you're abandoning you. And what happens is that can be something that's felt on the other side, but it's also something that you become attached because who do you have to be to receive that approval, validation, etc.? So the other side of this is when you are detached and in abundance, there's a realization that whether someone chooses you or not, whether someone likes you or not, you are in the energy of you're good either way because you realize that that's not your thing to manage. That's not your job. And because you believed it's your job, you carry that incredible pressure. So the difference here is when you are in abundance, when there is abundance around, what happens is that abundance is a realization that also in reality there really is only abundance. There is sometimes an abundance of lack, but there's an abundance of it. Think about that for a minute. There really— there's only abundance around, but we siphon ourselves off based on what's familiar to childhood. And then we create this incredible pressure onto other people that creates resistance. And projection is that sending energy. Most of this will stem back to childhood, by the way. Shocker. So your relationship between mom, dad, and child as a kid may be what you are subconsciously replaying and like sending energy, projecting energy is wanting mom or dad to meet your needs. We just got real deep, real fast, didn't we? So for me, this transformation was recognizing that as a kid, it's almost like my energy field expanded to include mom, dad, ex-stepmom, and who I had to be became something I tuned to. And there was that projection of energy that would deplete me, feel like pressure, And then because that wasn't resolved from childhood, there's an energy of like looking for that in other people, looking for that and trying to resolve that. Like if you think about it in the form of rejection, I saw a video about this the other day I thought was really cool on Instagram. Someone talking about like when you create a piece of content, if you create it and if it fails, there's a difference between you saying, it failed, the idea failed, and saying I failed. So when it comes to rejection, if we internalize what somebody else does and we attach to it, we're afraid it means something about us. And because it means something about us, we then will fight to prove, which of course creates depletion of energy. The energy strand. So let's talk about that for a minute. Energy strands. Think of it like we are all energetically connected, and based on our interaction with someone, we are either building energy strands with them through our interaction, or that energy may be positive, that energy may be destructive. It depends on our dynamic with somebody else. And the more you interact with someone else, the more you communicate with someone else, the stronger those energy strands are. And a lot of times what happens is if you're sending energy, it's kind of like how you feel in your body is getting sent at them. That's a projection of energy depleting for you. And why is it when you bring that energy back inside of yourself, you then feel alive? So let's talk about this for a minute. Also, we're gonna take this a step deeper. So the second part of this process is this idea right here, kind of building off of the first a little bit. Why is it there's certain people that you are attracted to where you might want their approval and validation? You might think it'd be really good if they did that and you would feel good about yourself, and it's what you crave. And why is it those people may not be mirroring that energy back to you that you want? You might be overgiving, overexplaining, getting a little bit awkward or weird when you're around them. And then over here, you might have people where you could care less whether they like you or not. You're like, Aaron, why do people— the people I like don't like me, but the people I don't like, they like me? Why? One of the reasons is, is because energetically you are not attached to whether these dodos over here like you or not, which you, you know, subconsciously might— I don't care what they like me or not. Because you don't care whether they like you or not. You're not energetically sending them energy, and you're not attached to what they think. This person over here, deep down, is the same. It's like the same energy. There's just a projection of energy there that's literally repelling what you want. So to think about it, you don't abandon yourself to talk to these dodos, but you do abandon yourself subconsciously or project your energy out at this person And also this person's on a little bit of a pedestal. So for a moment, let's talk about nervous system regulation around this. And then I'm gonna share the third point of this is one of the most powerful insights I've had recently that has completely transformed my life. But for a moment, let's talk about nervous system regulation in the sense that anything you put on a pedestal, you create resistance around, you project energy at it, and it depletes you because of that projection. You've made something important. And when something is important, you create resistance around it. You also elevate it above you. And when something is above you, you're looking up at it, it's looking down at you. And many times what happens is we put things on a pedestal because we aspire to have traits like that thing and we believe we don't have it inside of ourselves. One of the biggest shifts for me in this process was a certain friendship that I had, and I still have to this day actually, with a friend of mine that for a long time I was around that had very big energy. He's someone that has a very successful company that's worth literally over $100 million. And when I first met him, I was so enamored by his energy. I was so enamored by how he carried himself, and his level of abundance was something I'd never experienced before. Someone that's just so abundant so trusting, huge company, strong leadership skills, hundreds of employees. And I was like, I want that. I want to have that kind of energy. And then what happened is I became very close with this person. And as I was becoming close with this person, there was like this projection of energy where it's like I wanted to be like them, but it would cause me to be in this energy where there was definitely a projection of energy there that was happening. But there was also this energy where in ways I would abandon myself to be around this person, which felt very depleting. And one of the things I recognized eventually is that I got actually very angry when I became aware of this process. I had a shift where I went from being toxically nice to, in a healthy way, kind. Well, not, not kind. This is just kind. And the difference shifted everything. So nice was before, being nice, almost like a yes-man type person. And I recognized then that there was a projection of energy happening. I got angry at myself for saying yes so many times in which I wanted to say no. I was aware that a lot of times I was kind of feeding into that frame, and it was depleting. And what I recognized was that I literally would abandon myself to be around someone, which would call— which would create nervous system dysregulation. And in that nervous system dysregulation, it was depleting. And one of the things that allows you to create nervous system regulation is actually setting boundaries and not being attached to what some person does or says. So when I eventually learned this process, one of the things I realized is that being nice was in a way a fake dynamic that came from childhood patterning, obviously, but it came with an agenda. And have you noticed that people without an agenda tend to be more magnetic people that feel easy to be around? But people that have a strong agenda and for what they want you to do, it actually repels you. It reminds me of when I used to sell women's shoes. If people would come into the department, I'd be like, "Hey, how are you?" Even in that tonality, repels. "Do you want to buy anything? Would you like some shoes? It would really make my day." Doesn't sound good. Or think of a guy hitting on a chick or something. He's like, "Hey, girl." Ew, right? Someone that's in their own frame of reality though, that's centered inside themselves, not attached, they're not sending energy. They're embodied, they're present. So the thing that I had that I eventually learned to do is I learned to be in my own energy. That meant setting boundaries and actually expressing how I felt, which it was a little sloppy in the beginning because there was so much built-up energy there that when I expressed certain things to this certain friend, there was a fear that expressing it would cause ripples and tension. And guess what? It did cause some tension. But guess what that tension did? That tension was an initiation into a new way of being. That tension allowed me to feel confident inside of myself where I was finally showing up for me. And as I expressed myself to this person, they actually had a big breakthrough. Around what I was sharing. And for the first time ever, I could see that this person truly began to respect me. And it was a, it was a deeper feeling inside of myself. I had to be good either way with how this person responded because it was kind of like a clearing conversation for like, from like 8 months of kind of like energy that was kind of imbalanced. But interestingly enough, as I expressed it, I felt more free And that allowed me to stop sending energy. So interestingly enough, in this video, I just had an idea that I think completely connects this together in a more powerful way. When you think of projection of energy, think of it like there's stored energy in the body that hasn't been expressed. So it's like it's unexpressed, suppressed energy. And there's a hope or a desire or an agenda, and that hope, desire, or agenda is sending energy, and it's like you subconsciously want something from them instead of just actually expressing how you feel. And when you express how you feel, you are emanating a powerful energy. You are no longer trying to get an agenda. You are expressing it just because it's what's authentic. So when I started to express boundaries or vulnerability, it allowed the other person to respect me more. I wasn't attached to what they thought or said, and therefore it was a completely different transformative energy. So in a way, the sending of the energy is the desire for something from someone else because there's a part of you that's not paying attention to another part of you. So if there's an inner child part of you that feels not seen, heard, soothed, or nurtured, you might be sending energy hoping that they will see you a certain way, hoping they will give you something, and that attachment is what's creating resistance. So let's kind of summarize a little bit of this right now, and we're going to go into the main important part of this process. I'm going to show you exactly how to apply that, that can transform your life. So first off, energy strands that connect us all together. Understand that when we think of someone else, we are sending energy based on how we feel and what we are desiring from someone else. When we bring the energy back into our body and we are good either way with how they respond, that's when we're more in our power. When we express ourselves authentically, whether that's vulnerability or boundaries, That's authentic. And also, it's you showing up for you. And when you're not attached to what someone else does because you recognize that what they do is not something you need to internalize, you'll be in more power. Okay, so let's take this a step further now. And this, let me share with you, and then we're going to go into exactly how to do this simple process. So first off, I think one of the reasons I've been growing a lot more recently, whether it's here on YouTube or whether it's in my own life in general, is because there's been a big shift energetically in my own field. And part of this is recently there's been much more of a focus around expression and the process than there has been impression and the outcome. So before a few months ago, making these videos, it was like, how do I make videos that get a certain amount of views? I need to be doing a whole bunch of other crazy things in order to grow. And there was this like almost depletion of energy of me not just owning who I naturally am to be who I think I need to become in order to grow. And what happened is about a month ago, I realized that I had for 2 years abandoned teaching. I've been hot seat coaching people. I've been running live events, like 7 or 8 live events last year, literally completely abandoned making whiteboard videos. And I didn't realize how much I missed teaching. And one of the things I realized was that I had abandoned myself to be who I thought I needed to be. And then that also meant really focusing on outcome. Really focusing on the results, which would create tension, which would create resistance. So about a month ago, I committed and recognized this, and I started to actually just make these whiteboard videos teaching these ideas. And then the other thing I focused on is just having fun with the process. Having fun with the process. I focused on enjoying teaching new ideas, finding new ways to teach things. New ways of expressing things. Instead of focusing on if the videos get views, I focus on how much fun can I have, and can I connect ideas together in a more powerful way? Can I share stories in a more powerful way? You see, that energy has allowed me to get into a more present energy where also I'm owning what makes me different. So up until now one of the things I've been doing a lot subconsciously is comparing myself to friends of mine and other creators in my space. And some of my friends that run big live events, hot seat coach people, and do this like really cool type style, I'd realize that I've been comparing myself to them instead of also recognizing what makes me different. And one of the things I realize that does make me different is I like to teach whiteboard videos. I like to teach. Um, there's a certain energy and kind of like playfulness that comes when I'm really in this flow state. And what happens is it flows through and the results come as a result of the energy. So the energy is the thing that's important. The having fun is an energy that's important. The focusing on the process is the thing that's important. The focus on adding value is important. Because when you're adding value, it's like the divine can flow through you. And as the divine flows through you, you don't have to figure things out. You don't have an agenda because it's just the divine flowing through, and your job is just to have fun with it. Yes, there's an intention here of sharing these energies and showing you how to bring your energy back, but there's also an energy of this just feels fun to express. So can you feel the energy difference there in that understanding that your job is to also have fun with this process. That's when you're present, and that's when you're in magnetic energy. So it's the degree to which you bring your energy back and also own who you are. So because we're all connected— so this is the important part of this video— what you're really learning to do is self versus other, how to feel confident within yourself and to focus on the separation between you and other. How to focus on the separation and realize that you are connected to everyone else, but also you are separate. And the degree to which you find this balance by feeling inside of your body is the degree to which you start to feel safe inside of yourself and you begin to own who you are. And at the fundamental truth, it is true that we're all connected. We're all one consciousness. We're all connected. What you put out is what you get back, because at a deeper level, those other people or other versions are connected to you in some way. But it is also true that you are an individual and you came here to realize self-realization of who you are and what your unique gift is in the world. And the missing key for so many people is that they're stuck in the mother-father-child dynamic as a kid, and they haven't actually done what Carl Jung talks about as individuation, where you individuate from mom and dad. You individuate from who you believe you need to be to make them happy. And what I've been learning, what I've learned to do years ago, and what I've been coming more and more into myself recently that's completely shifted my life, is owning what makes me different. Focusing on the space between me and others, focusing on the space between me and the walls of the room that I'm in. And when I learned this technique back in 2000 and probably '21 or '20, maybe it was right around COVID time, maybe 2021, I remember learning about this technique from a, uh, Carl Jungian psychologist that had double PhD in psychology. And it's very similar to this idea that I'm sharing with you. And it has to do with— it's called the frame technique. I coined it the frame technique. I learned it. And this is what people come up to me and express to me of how powerful it is. And it's feeling the separation between you and other people. And I remember being in Sedona and going around for one of the first times and feeling the desire that I had to say hi to people when maybe I didn't want to say hi. You know, that niceness. And remember, the difference between nice is nice is with an agenda. Kind is with— is there's no, there's no outcome focus. It's you're good, you're kind whether they're nice to you or not. And the difference between these is the difference between magnetic energy and contractive energy. So going on this walk that I went on, I remember that's, that's when it started to open to me that I feel the separation between me and people. Become aware of that desire to say hi or be nice. I'd be present with it, and it was crazy, the difference in people's responses, how many people were magnetized to my energy, how I was literally good either way. No control. Started to feel more present than ever, and that's when things in my life really began to shift in a powerful way. So what I have is the flip here is where you learn The flip in every video is where you learn how to integrate the teachings from the video. The flip here is where you learn about zeros and ones. It's self versus other. And when you're an empath that can feel other people's energy, you may see only other. You think everybody else is your responsibility. And what you also begin to learn that will transform your life is feeling the space between you and others. And in the frame technique, you learn exactly how to do this. I actually just remade a meditation video, a training video to show you how to do this. It's completely free. If you wanna check it out, you click the link below and check out the frame technique. I'll walk you through it, show you the philosophy of it, but then also show you exactly how to do it. And we do it with the candle flame, that candle flame right over there. So you can click below to check that out and realize that for this energy, when you start to feel the separation, start to feel more inside of your body, when you stop projecting, projecting your energy, you'll start to feel more present as well. You start to realize that you have the ability to feel the love, the joy, the peace inside of yourself. That's when you're in powerful energy. You're good either way because you recognize that this is about expression, having fun, adding value, but it's not your responsibility to fix people. You let the divine flow through. That's a deeper level of surrender. And then Also, something that we're going to be doing soon is a 21-day Raise Your Vibration Challenge. We're going to be running this live. We're going to be learning how to elevate our vibration, feel safe inside of our own body, not to fall back into old patterns. You're going to learn about the core levers that help you to elevate your vibration to the next level. This is a live transformational experience. It's a 21-day process that literally over 20,000 people have been through over the last 5 or 6 years. Years. I've recently completely redone it because of all the crazy stuff happening in the world. We're going to use the power of group energy. We're going to use the power of deep inner transformational tools and lessons that can help us transform from the inside out. So if you do want to join, the next one is starting soon. Click the link below, check out the Raise Your Vibration Challenge, and that's where we're going to go deeper on this. And in that challenge, one thing you will learn is the frame technique. The frame technique is something we will practice, something we will learn. You'll have a challenge that you can do to apply this in your life to see how different your energy is when you begin to apply this. So allow yourself to realize that this is the power of you being in that energy. Understand that you're both connected to everything but also an individual. And when you start to focus on the space, you'll be in much more powerful energy. So if you do want to see my original frame technique YouTube video that I put out years ago, go ahead and check it out right here. This is the technique in a nutshell that will show you how to apply it. When you are thinking of someone else, you are sending them energy. Think about it as if there's some form of energy strand
