Go From Hope to Expectation By Using this Technique (Try This)

Aaron Doughty teaches an NLP visualization technique to shift from hope to expectation. Imagine your desired outcome as a cloudy image, then upgrade it to vivid, high-definition detail. Hidden limiting beliefs act like an e-brake, but bringing them to conscious awareness releases their power.

Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'm gonna be sharing with you how to move from hope to expectation using this one NLP technique. Now NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. Now what this is, is it sounds very fancy, but all it really is is a way that we can use our brain to then move through self-sabotage, move through mental barriers we have in order for us to then be who we prefer to be in life. Now, a lot of the information in this video is going to come from a book by Tony Robbins called Unlimited Power. He also has a book called Awaken the Giant Within, which has some of this information as well, but it's all about learning how we can optimize our brain, optimize the way we think by using visualization and using our imagination. What we do for this technique, and it's actually very simple, but we're going to do this exercise right now together. And in order to do it, just follow along in your mind or follow along with this process. And I want you to simply imagine how it feels to hope something will happen. Now, if— imagine something that you hope happens. It could be that you hope that you'd be able to meet the right kind of person or significant other. It could be that you hope that you're doing what you want for a living or you get a certain award. Award or employee of the month, whatever it is, simply feel how it feels to hope that that happens. Now pay attention to what that vision looks like, to what that kind of looks like in your imagination. Now let's move over to expectation. I want you to expect that whatever you want to happen will happen. What does that vision look like? How would you expect something to happen? And how does that simple imagination imagination or that part of the visualization feel different than that of the hope? Well, what you might notice and what most people would say was that the vision or thinking of hope, it's a very cloudy, it's very in the air. A lot of times when we have something that we hope happens, there's something that we hope happens and there's something that normally is in the way of that happening. So it could be that we're focused on the outcome, but we're also focused on the fear of something else, of maybe some type of block we have. By not thinking we can do it, or by some block of like, if this happens, what if this comes up because of it? And those two different visions that come from it, those two mental images that come from it, give ourselves these neural patterns. There's neuroassociations that are mixed. It's almost like our brain has the e-brake on rather than just in full force. Now, because that is a more dimmed-like vision, it's a more dimmed mental picture. Now look at the one that you expect to happen, what you'll find is that it's much more brighter, it's much more vivid. It's almost like you're looking at it in HD and it feels completely different. It feels like there's more action involved. It feels like you're more certain of going in that direction. Now, how do you make that switch from going from hope to expectation? Well, the key to this is making the mental picture in your mind much more HD. Make it much more visual, much more clear, almost like you've upgraded upgraded it from like a 720 to an 80, 10, or whatever it is, a 1080, a 1080, and it's much more vivid. It's much more clear in that way. Now when you do this and you start to simply decide that that is what you're going for, naturally the action will begin to feel natural. The action will be the momentum of energy going in that way. And what you can then do is anytime a block comes up or something happens to where it feels like that's a roadblock, what you can simply realize is that might be a belief that's out of touch from going in that direction. Maybe it's, uh, you have a certain intention to meet someone like a significant other and you find that these beliefs of worthiness come up. Be grateful that those are coming up because what that shows you is that you can look at it. It's bringing it from subconscious into conscious and you can simply decide to let it go, that it doesn't have to have so much power over you, that you can decide that you are worthy enough to then give yourself that happiness that you seek in someone else. You see, when you start to come at it from this point of view, when you start to make what you want much more vivid, you will feel the momentum begin to pick up and you'll naturally begin to want to take more action. So the power of this video is taking the mental picture of having an intention and bringing it from something that we hope will happen, something that's very dim, that doesn't have much clarity, that doesn't have much energy and momentum behind it and simply deciding that we are going to intend for something much more strongly, that not only are we going to intend for it, but we're going to see it as a very clear picture. We're going to make it in all color. We're going to make it very vivid. You'll notice that also the one that we hope happens might be in just black or white. It might not have as much clarity in it. It might not have as much detail, but bring it over, it makes it feel much more real when you add that vividness, that color to it. You make it like you're actually looking through your own eyes and experiencing it and simply decide to take action every day in that direction. This simple technique is something that's very powerful for moving and putting your mind in the direction of where you want to go, of developing the momentum and the action of you being who you prefer to be and really just optimizing your mind in a very powerful way. So with that being said, I hope you guys enjoyed this video, feel free to like this video if you liked it, subscribe if you haven't already, and as always, I will see you guys on the next bit. Peace, much love, namaste. Alright, bye.
