How to become so irresistible it feels kinda scary

In this 30‑minute personal‑development monologue Aaron Doughty argues that the reality we experience is already present; we only miss it because of limiting identities and static‑creating beliefs. He explains that humans can only consciously process 40‑100 bits of information per second, so the "invisible" abundance around us is filtered by our self‑image. Doughty introduces the concept of an "identity lock" – a set of childhood‑derived roles (fight, flight, fawn, freeze) that act as a mental remote controlling which "channel" we experience. By consciously thinking, feeling and acting as the future version of ourselves, we can shift the remote, dissolve static, and align with our true soul. He illustrates the theory with personal anecdotes (school test, sales job, transition from 9‑to‑5 to full‑time YouTuber, live‑event coaching) and with scientific‑style studies on teacher expectations. Core limiting beliefs (not worthy, can’t control, abandonment) are unpacked, and a neutral mantra – “I’m good either way” – is offered as a practical tool. Doughty stresses presence, neutrality, and enjoyment of the process over outcome, recommends a free "future‑self" meditation, and points to a follow‑up video on the "pedestal effect" for deeper work.

What if what you want to experience already exists? What if reality is simply about making the invisible visible due to who you believe you are? In this video, I'm going to show you how to master your energy, how to remove the static that's keeping you blocked from being who you actually came here to be. I'm going to show you the deeper core questions that will completely shift your inner child energy, that allow you to go deep to create that transformation so that you don't fall back into old patterns. This is exactly the process that I use to go from a 9 to 9-to-5 job goer to being a YouTuber teaching ideas, traveling around the world, doing what I love, and I'm going to show you exactly how you can do it too. So first off, understand that out of the 11 to 15 million bits of information around you, you can only perceive of about 40 to 100 bits per second. It's not a lot, but you are already lucky. You already have the love, the abundance around you. It's already there. It's simply invisible to you due to your beliefs, due to who you believe you are. If I think about this in my life, I have this thing that I call identity lock. We all have an identity lock of how we view ourselves that keeps us locked in the 40 to 100 bits per second in reality based on that identity. Some of these identities are roles from childhood, which we'll talk about in a minute, which alone I think can also shift the way in which we show up, because we get that confused with who we are, our role. It's not you. But I remember that back in the day, there's some scientific studies that prove this, and also just my own life experience, it proves it too. When I was in 9th grade, I went to English class one day and I literally saw myself as an average student. I'd get Cs and Ds, even below average. I remember there was this one moment I go into school, I go into English class, and the day before we had a test. And on that test I scored a 92% and the teacher told me that everybody else in the class got less than that. I had one of the top grades for that test. Something shifted in my mind. I started to view myself as smart. I literally went from seeing myself as a dumb dumb to smarty pants. And it happened because one test shifted my identity. This is something that like our, our sense of self of who we are What we internalize really is the key here too, if you think about it. We'll talk more about that in a minute, 'cause I think that's another thing that's coming to me right now that I think is like a connecting piece to all of this. But understand that at a certain point in your past, you probably have a certain identity that might be holding you back simply because you believed it. They've actually shown this, by the way, in studies too and experiments that they've done where they take a teacher, they say, these kids have all been tested. These 6 kids over here are the smartest ones. These kids over here are the not smartest ones. They're the dumb ones. At the end of the year, guess what happens? The 6 kids and the 6 kids over here, the ones that were labeled as smart, the ones that were labeled as not smart, guess what? The ones that were smart performed astronomically better and in alignment with the teacher's expectations. You want to hear the funny little joke of the whole story? It was completely random. No, there was no test. So literally the teacher's expectations may have pulled out of the kids different level of potential. And how many times might it be that we pull out of other people in our lives different potential based on our expectations of them? This is very interesting to think about, doesn't it? Isn't it? So first off, there's two main points here. One, you can create an experience, an identity shift simply by starting to internalize more of your own potential. Like, I started to see myself as smart. Hadn't I referenced experience that I was smart? The other thing is that your expectations of people might be pulling out of people certain versions of them, certain things that might even be unprocessed from the inside. I remember there was this time 10, 15 years ago with an ex-girlfriend, and I found out that she had a boyfriend where every time they would go out to dinner, he would pay but then offer for her to tip if she wants. And that used to trigger her. She didn't like that. Well, I found out afterwards because I would take her out and what we would do is we'd go out and I would— I'd never said that to an ex-girlfriend before or anybody like, oh, I'll pay but you tip. But for her, for some reason, it slipped out a few times and I said that. And then she explained to me that this is her trigger from the past and it was like something that really bothers her. And I remember always recognizing like, what was it that pulled that out of me? Am I just blaming her for doing it? But I remember that there was like this, it came out and I remember thinking to myself, maybe there was some energetic pull of that where with certain people, I can see where I do that with certain people where certain people might respond to me in a certain way because of my expectations of them or the unprocessed thing that say, I hope they don't do that, but then they might. So what's interesting about this is based on our role, out of the 11 to 15 million bits of information, we can only perceive of about 100 bits per second, which means that the love, the joy, everything that you want to experience in your life is already around you. It's simply waiting for you to activate it. When I think of even when I used to see myself as a 9 to 5 job goer, that was an identity that I had. And I was in complete alignment, let me say that too. You know how people say they're out of alignment? I'm out of alignment. You're not out of alignment, you're completely in alignment with who you have been being. So I was thinking thoughts, feeling emotions, and taking actions equal to a 9-to-5 job goer. Therefore, guess what reality I had? I was an astronaut. No, of course, I'm just, like, it makes sense, right? Thinking, feeling, acting equal to that, that's what I experienced. Then one day I decided, I committed to being a YouTuber. Something in my identity shifted. I started to be it. Guess what ended up happening? Within a very short period of time, I literally began— within like 3 to 6 months, my whole entire life transformed because I committed to daily videos. I was in alignment with being a YouTuber, with making videos consistently and teaching. So something shifted, my identity shifted, the way that I view myself shifted. So understand that what you want to experience already exists and what we can begin to use as an analogy for this too that I think will change everything when you really begin to see how this works in your life is think of it like a television channel. Television channel, you're watching like, let's say National Geographic, ESPN is there, all the other channels are there. You know that the other channels exist. You don't have to create them. If you want to change the channel, what do you do? You use the remote. Use the remote. The remote is a— is how you think, feel, and act. Your roles, your identity, how you view yourself. That's your remote. And when you change the remote, then the channel changes. But what a lot of people do is they scream at the TV. Can you imagine how dumb that would look? I mean, technically we have technology now where you're like, "Hey Alexa, change the TV," and then the TV changes. You could say things like that now, but back in the day, it'd be like 10 years ago, yelling at the TV, "Change, change TV, change! Why are you still on that channel? Change!" It's like, well, you need to take the remote and how you think feeling acne needs to change, but it already exists. It's the important— one of the most important parts of this video. It already exists. Now, an interesting thing about this too that I'll say is like a key to this is when I became a YouTuber and I took on the identity of being a YouTuber, one interesting thing that happened is it wasn't like this really cool thing that if it happened it would be amazing. It was just like this calm thing, like I'm thinking, feeling, and acting equal to being a YouTuber. I was so immersed in the process that it wasn't this like amazing thing. And because of that, it was like there was more of an equal like energy flow. Like have you noticed that anything you put on a pedestal where it's a person, love, et cetera, what you end up doing is creating resistance. That resistance is static. And what happens is when you're present to the moment and you're in the process, that's when you create more alignment. Here's an idea I think that'll shift your life that it's completely shifted mine as of recently. For a while, I've been thinking that for me to grow to the next level, I had to really get out of my comfort zone. I built, you know, I've had millions of followers on social media, on YouTube and Instagram and stuff, and I've had success in the past and I'm like, for me to get to the next level, because one day I'd love to be like at the level, which is probably some ego thing, the level of like Joe Dispenza, Tony Robbins, doing what they do. For me to get there, I've gotta like really stretch my identity of how I see myself. So part of what I did is I really focused on running live events, which I love, and I still love running live events, but it was almost like this, I need to expand, I need this desperation to run it, do, do all of these things and then make it harder. It's like normally you teach videos of the whiteboard, now you gotta like hot seat coach people and do that live in a room with hundreds of people. And basically I embraced this for the last 2 years. It's completely transformed me. So in a way it's served a good purpose. But also one thing that I've recognized recently is I completely neglected teaching. I completely neglected the whiteboard, but the whiteboard was like, felt abandoned and lonely in the corner. And I was just like, no, I need to become this better version of myself. And what happened is there was something that was just a little bit out of alignment with this where I was like trying, I was putting all this energy and it wasn't really in flow as much. And I was like, well, that's the growth, right? What's shifted recently is I'm still going to run live events and do the things I love, but it's coming from a very different place because when I create videos now, my focus on creating these videos is not to get views, it's not to like get to the next level. I'm focused on making better and better videos where I can explain ideas in new ways. I've fallen in love again with YouTube and actually embracing what I've been rejecting for like 2 years, 'cause like I don't wanna see myself as a YouTuber anymore. And all of a sudden things are growing quicker and more than they have in like 2 years. Now it's like, I don't care what the result of the videos are, I just wanna make videos I'm passionate about. Because of that, guess what that energy is? That energy is light. That energy is fun. So the static comes on either end when you're trying to get somewhere else. And if you're not listening to your nervous system too, your nervous system is giving you feedback. Last year I would run— I actually just got done running 2 events back to back, like less than 30 days apart, and I was like wiped at the end of it. It's fun, but I just, I was, my nervous system was telling me that this is too much. Now there's a structure, I've reintroduced my teachings. And now that I'm in that energy, guess what? There's an energy where there's much more flow there. And what it's come from is it's come from me owning my own gifts and also focusing on what makes me different. I think for a while I've been focusing on like, you know, comparing myself to other friends of mine that do, certain types of coaching and live events for a living. And I'm like, wait, I'm actually a little bit different. I like to teach. I like teaching ideas. I like using the whiteboard. As I've re-owned and re-gotten to this energy here of this passion, this excitement, and realizing that this is an energy, it just yields such a different result. Now, interestingly enough, from being in this energy that I'm in now, it's funny. I've had other aspects of my life that over the years have gotten kind of complex. Now that I'm alignment with the expression in the world of like making these kind of videos and having fun, these other areas of my life are actually finding so much alignment. So it's like one area of your life might affect other areas of your life. And as you focus on a certain area, you might find that other areas align. This can also happen the other way, by the way, where someone might have a predominant area of their life where things aren't going well, that leaks into other areas. Very interesting, isn't it? It's like where somebody maybe goes through, lose their job, and then the relationship starts to fall, like it becomes this thing. Now, understand at the core, by the way, meaning in our reality is something we filter. Nothing has any built-in meaning other than the meaning we give it. And when we give things heavy meaning because of static, we create resistance. Now, what I'm learning on YouTube now about having more fun with the process, realizing it's not my job to control the results, realizing it's not my job to like manage that. My job is to show up to make the best videos possible, to have fun with the process. This reminds me of also the identity that I used to have back when I used to sell women's shoes. I learned about this actually completely shifted my life. And in a moment we're gonna get, by the way, to the deeper parts of the childhood stuff that I think is probably gonna unlock a lot for you. But until we go there, think of it like this. There's this idea of our self-image. There's a book called Psycho-Cybernetics. We all have a self-image. We would do anything we can to stay consistent to the way that we define ourselves. I realized when I read this book, I was working at Nordstrom's in women's shoes, and every day we'd go in and we would see the entered, we'd see the form from the last day of the top salespeople, of just all the salespeople. And I recognized, I said, what is my self-image? And I looked at this and I realized that the top seller was always number 1 or 2. The people that were kind of barely hanging onto the job were always like the bottom, like 10, like numbers 9 and 10. There was like 10 of us. I was always like 4 or 5 or 6. So what I noticed is that my identity was average. Just like back in the day when I thought I was a dumb-dumb back in school, it was average. And what I realized was I was— I saw myself as an average sales employee. Well, what I then began to do is I then began to question that, and I began to think, feel, and behave as a top sales version of myself. This is one of the keys, by the way. If you get anything out of this video, this idea right here I think could change your life. Think, feel, and act as that version of me. It already existed. Just like out of the 11 to 15 million bits of info, 40 bits per second is what we perceive of, it's like I activated that inside of myself and then within days, I was at the top of the list. And I was literally, I realized that that version of me that was the top salesperson greeted every customer. Sometimes in sales commission, you only greet the customers you think are gonna buy. Nope. I would greet every customer 'cause I realized that that version of me is what I did. I realized that there was a certain level of, like, instead of offering normally the shoe they asked for, I would then offer 2 or 3 other shoes. Sometimes that would take courage to do 'cause people are like, "I didn't ask for this," but you would show them other things. So I also, after they would buy the shoe, what I would do is I would put it into this bag and I would wrap tissue over it and just give it a little bit extra. Other sales employees around me didn't do that. I knew that I'd be going above and beyond. It was a signal to me that says this is the kind of person that I am. And these are things in which I was thinking, feeling, and acting equal to that top-selling version of me. Now here's something else that I've learned that I think can completely shift the way in which you show up in life that'll allow you to get better results and enjoy the process. If I went into work and my focus, selling women's shoes as a sales commission job, was just to make money, I want to make $4,000 that day, sell $4,000 worth, 10%, I make $400. That's the goal. What happens is every person that comes in is a means to my goal. I'm then trying to manipulate the universe to give me what I want. And it's a manipulative thing where it's like, it feels like pressure. You wanna know what I realized is when I went into work and I had an intention of adding value, I had an intention of showing my personality and having fun, I had an intention of connecting with people, What happened is I would have, those were the best days. The money would come as a reflection of that intention, of that energy I was carrying. And what's interesting now is what I have just done with YouTube, which is why you can probably see that this YouTube channel has, is like had a switch over the last couple weeks, is I'm having more fun with the process. I've re-owned a part of myself I've been disowning. There was a while where I was literally ashamed to even call myself a YouTuber, and I was literally resisting the thing that I actually love, which is teaching. And what I'm learning to own when we talk about the identity and how you show up energetically, what I'm learning to own within myself is actually what makes me different. What makes me different? I'm a little weird, first off. I say some weird things sometimes. I use my hands when I, when I talk like this. Some people think I look like, why is he using his hands so much? I own it. I say weird things. I tell, I tell some stories a lot and you say, why does he keep talking about those stories? He's repeating himself. Now that I'm a YouTuber and I have the identity again, guess what? I made 2,000 videos, boo boo. Sometimes the videos are gonna kind of The stories are going to kind of, you know why? This is repetition, baby. It happens. But you see, the more I have owned my weirdness, the more I have owned the teaching. Like I teach, I like a whiteboard. For a while I would neglect the whiteboard when I was at live events because I'm like, I need to prove I do not need the whiteboard. So I would literally not bring the whiteboard. I'd be like, tell my friends I did it without the whiteboard. I did a whole 8-hour day without the whiteboard. Oh, Aaron, you're so good. I'm like, I know, I'm so good. I've grown so much. But you wanna know what I realize? I am now one with the whiteboard. I've owned it. Yes. So when you're thinking about you creating what you want in your life, a big part of this is being aware of the energy you are in and it's being aware of how you are relating to what you wanna create. Now, anytime you wanna create something and what happens is you, it's really important and you want something and it's on a pedestal, you create resistance. And what happens is that resistance is static. It's literally saying, this is not natural to my identity. When you are in it, this is why I think neutrality is one of the most powerful things to get to. Like if you write something down right now, so first off, there's two things and there's two or three other things I'm gonna share that I think could shift your life. But one or two of them, is first off, your identity is not static. Your identity is not static, it's shifting. But the story you tell yourself about who you are is what determines the 40 bits per second of what you experience. You have around you right now everything you want. It's literally invisible to you because of your beliefs. It is invisible to you because of the roles you may have taken on as a kid. It's invisible to you because of an outdated identity. And when you become aware of that, that's when you can then begin to become more free. So realize that it will be natural for you. That's the next step. It will be natural for you. The second thing is it will be natural for you when you are more neutral. Here's a prompt for you that I think could shift your life. Can you make a plant grow? Can you make a plant grow? If I'm like, hey, can you make the plant grow right now? Go make it grow. And you're like, no, Aaron, I can't make it grow. But you wanna know what I can do, Aaron? Here's what I can do. I can put it in the sun and then I can put it with the water. I'm like, I know you could do that, but did you make the plant grow? Do you have to give the plant affirmations? You grow, you little plant, you freaking grow. You better grow so good. Of course, you know this is all silly, right? Here's the understanding of it. What makes the plant grow? The divine, God, its natural intelligence. You don't make it grow. You just supply the conditions for it to grow. Doesn't that relieve? You're like, Aaron, I didn't come here to be a botanist. I know, but this is a metaphor. I have a whiteboard, I talk about metaphors, okay? The metaphor is that you don't have to make the plant grow. You focusing on outcome is what creates resistance. It creates static. Haha, static. So if I went into work and I was like, I need to make a certain amount of money, guess what? Trying to make a certain amount of money is like outcome. It's like make the plant grow. I'm making it grow. No, focus on the energy. Yes, be aware of your beliefs. If you believe you're lucky, That's why part of the static is removing the old roles. We'll talk about it in a minute, which is the thing I think that is gonna be the deeper core inner child stuff here that like, you'll see shifts things moving forward. But a big part of this is becoming aware of what are those identities and how can you neutralize it and realize you're literally good either way because your job's not to make the plant grow. Your job is to enjoy the process, have fun, and to follow your excitement. Own who you are. Own what makes you different. Let yourself be a little weird. And what happens is as you own it, realize people feel what you feel. People feel what you feel. People feel what you feel about you. So a lot of your insecurities literally are just what's called excess potential. Excess potential. Any, like, here's the thing. Everything has no built-in meaning other than the meaning we give it. It's neutral. Excess potential is like excess meaning. And what I noticed is before I was forcing, I was trying, I wanna grow on YouTube, I wanna do these things, I wanna run live events, I wanna be like Tony Robbins and Joe Dispenza. Excess potential. Now I'm literally good either way. I love my life. I love making videos. I love teaching new ideas. Regardless of how many views this video gets, I love making it. I'm having fun right now. There's energy flowing through that I don't— I just, I get to use, I get to have fun. You're probably watching this video right now. You can look at my YouTube channel. Look when I started the YouTube, when I started the whiteboard videos and I re-owned my whiteboard. I love my whiteboard. Look, look at when I re-owned it. You will see that things grew from that point moving forward. I have a simplified process now. I love, love the whiteboard, but I've owned it. I've owned this, okay? I've owned this about myself. Now let's take this a step further, okay? Let's take this a step further and allow us to realize that there's a lot of energy here that we're becoming aware of. And one is your job is to get into the energy. Your job's not to control the outcome. Your job's not to make the plant grow. Your job is to show up and to have fun with the process, to let go of old roles, old identities. Let's look at some of the old roles real quick. So you know what people say, like, let's look at this. So here's the difference between the role and your soul. First off, you are an infinite spiritual being living a temporary human experience. You may have had an inner child energy where you took on a role that you think is you, but it's not you. It's a strategy that you've learned. And we're gonna go deeper than a minute on this handy-dandy whiteboard with a deeper like thing underneath here in a sec, but you gotta be patient, okay? Now first I gotta explain this, then we'll go to the next page and you'll see and you'll get a dopamine hit 'cause you'll see what's on the next page, okay? First off, there's 4 different nervous system states from strategies that we have. There's fight, flight, fawn, and freeze. Different roles from childhood might be blocking us from experiencing the awesomeness that we are because they're creating static. You ready for this? Some of those might be fight. Okay, control. I must control reality. I must fight for freedom. That's like, that's the fight response. Think of flight. This might be hyper-independence. We numb ourselves. There's different patterns that go in with this dynamic, and sometimes these also can overlay a bit. Fawn, fawn pattern, people pleaser, over-giver. These are people that as a response, they like chameleons. That's a pattern. Freeze, this is like, freeze is like mental resistance. It's procrastination, also numbing. Like I said, some of these overlap, but these are different nervous system response that as a kid may have been active and patterns may be then there that want to be completed. So realize you may think you are these roles, but you are not the roles. You are not the roles, you are the soul. So these might be blocking you from actually experiencing what you want, but the key to this is actually to embrace and accept this part of you. And to understand the paradox that there are beliefs here, in general, there are 3 core beliefs that will block you and keep your identity in the identity lock. Now, when I think of when I shifted out of, like, for example, the people pleaser or the over-giver pattern, you know, it's funny, I had to fight for freedom as a kid. So I would find myself reenacting that energy with people like managers and stuff because there was always a perpetrator in my life. Then there were different, you know, fawning, the people pleasers, who I had to be to be around that person. But I remember when I shifted out of the fawn dynamic of people pleasing years ago, a big part of this was I had to see, hear, and acknowledge the inner part of me that felt I was only worthy if I would please other people, only worthy if I ease the tension. I was uncomfortable with tension. So some of the static might be that there's a certain emotion that you can begin to embrace. And for me, with people pleasing, I had to embrace vulnerability and authenticity. So what that meant is part of my identity. You think about this one idea here, I think could shift your life, okay? If you think of your identity and what's equal to your identity, if you choose your values, if you choose the values of authenticity or vulnerability, for example, guess what will happen? What you experience in your life will cause you to break through because you will then be completing the energy of the past. But the thing is, is if you value validation approval from other people, 'cause maybe you didn't receive it as a kid, who you believed you had to be is what you became. So people pleasers will literally perceive of out of the 11 to 15 million bits of information around them, they will literally perceive of the 40 to 100 bits per second of people they need to please, of playing small, of not shining their light. So you see, this is what blocks so many people is these patterns have been unprocessed. When you process these patterns, you will feel more free. Okay? So let's, we're gonna talk about the flip here in a minute. The flip is what will change everything. But 4, you're gonna get a little dopamine hit. Now who's ready for a dopamine hit? Comment below dopamine hit if you're ready for your dopamine hit. Okay, I've switched the whiteboard now. Here's 3 of the core beliefs. And you've probably seen this, this one idea here I think can also shift your life. Okay, so first off, ask yourself this question. If you, Tony Robbins asks it at his events all the time. Here's what he says. He goes, whose love did you crave more as a kid? And then people say either their mom or their dad. And he says, who would you have to be to receive their love and approval? And then people are like, ah, and then they have like, they can cry or have big insights. Now this question is so powerful because it reveals the role of who you believed you need to be. For me, I had to be, as a kid, I had to be easygoing. I couldn't fight 'cause I had the ex-stepmom that was controlling, so I had to be easygoing. I couldn't have my own needs. I had to kind of like appease and be a chameleon to someone's like erratic energy. I had to be naive. These are all energies that I had to be, this role that I had to be that then stayed on autopilot until I became aware of it, focused on healing that inner child. And what happened is as I accepted that part of myself instead of rejecting it, 'Cause for a long time, I was angry at the past people pleaser version of me, angry at other people, and then angry at myself for allowing it. I had to forgive myself, had to forgive other people, had to allow myself to also embrace the new identity of vulnerability and authenticity. Now let's look at this for a moment. When we talk about that of not worthy, these are the 3 core beliefs most people have at some level. We'll talk about the paradox of each of these for a moment. And then we're going back because we gotta get to the flip, okay? The flip is where things really begin to flip. But first off, not worthy. I have a unique way of expressing not worthy. I've been sharing it in different videos. When you think of it, worthiness, when people say, "I'm not worthy," it's a belief, okay? It's just, there's unprocessed shame there. That shame wants to be felt. And when you could be present with that shame, you can let it, You can accept the shame. You can begin to like let it process. But what people do is subconsciously they then start to try to prove worthiness. You're either worthy or you're not worthy. And what happens is you end up fighting to feel worthy. Now people say, I don't feel worthy. What is the worthiness feeling in the body? Where is that? Worthiness is a concept. Really, you just exist. If I were to have a baby right now and say, hey, is this baby more worthy than this baby? This is a worthy baby, this is not worthy baby. You'd say, Aaron, that's so offensive. Why would you say that about babies? Babies are all worthy. Everyone knows that. And I say, I know it's a metaphor because I have a whiteboard. And you look at the whiteboard and you go, oh yeah, he's teaching. He likes whiteboard and he likes to teach on whiteboard now. And he's a YouTuber. Got it. So are they worthy or not worthy? I have a unique perspective about this. You wanna hear it? Babies just exist. They just are. They just is. Babies aren't worthy or not worthy. Everything you could say is both worthy and not worthy at the same time. Everything just exists. So what happens is everything just is, not one baby's more worthy than another baby, but at a certain point in your past, you may have learned and believed, I'm not worthy. What do I need to do to be worthy? Here we get, who did you believe you needed to be to be worthy? What did you need to do to be worthy? That's what caused the problem. That's what caused the challenge where you might work really hard. You might try to prove yourself. You might try to ease tension. These are all things that create static, static. And when you create alignment, this is where you become aware of these patterns. You process the other side of it, but you realize you can accept. If you can accept you are both worthy and not worthy, you will be more free. You'll be more free. And when you're more free, you're not trying to prove yourself. Accept the shame, accept these emotions. Like this is the key is that acceptance. So first off, that's my spiel on not worthy. This really allowed me to feel like way more free in realizing that I can accept I'm both worthy and not worthy at the same time. And that allows me to have like an energy where I relate to myself in a much different way and I can accept the shame that comes up too. Let it be there, accept it instead of trying to hide it. Next, can't control. Control, I must fight or I must control, I can't trust. And really the unknown is scary. So what happens is you create a lot of pressure. The paradox of control is even if you feel out of control, you're controlling that. Like as an infinite spiritual being, you have a certain level of alignment to like a higher self part of you, even to experience the feeling of being out of control, you'd be controlling that experience. It's because of your belief. It's 'cause you're afraid of the unknown that you're able to experience that resistance. It's like this quote from Bashar that says, you never really doubt. You just have 100% trust in a definition that's out of alignment with you. So that's what doubt is. But really, you have a certainty in doubt. Interesting thing to think of, isn't it? It's a paradox. The more you let it be okay that you're out of control, the more in control you'll feel. Whoa. Metaphors. Next one, abandonment. Abandonment is you feel like you'll be left. Now the paradox of this is that if you're afraid someone's gonna leave you and then you start being a chameleon or something, guess what happens? You leave you. You leave you to make everybody else happy and then people treat you the way you're treating you. When you let it be okay that people leave knowing it doesn't mean anything about your sense of self-worth, that's when you're more free. Like when I see people working that 9 to 5 job that I had, I used to see, I've told this story before, but seeing people that like sell cosmetic stuff and they'd get rejected like 100 times a day when people are walking by their cosmetic shops, they would wait for one old lady to come in and then they'd bring that lady in and they'd put a whole bunch of powder on her and then sell her like $2,000 worth of stuff and make her feel really good. They would do this, they would make so much money commission, but they would get rejected like hundreds of times a day. And I remember talking to one of them one time, I was like, how do you do that? And they're like, oh, it's, Doesn't mean, because it's like, it's an acceptance that like people are busy. They're not internalizing every little rejection saying, oh my God, someone rejected me. Oh my God, they reject me again. Not that you get numb to it, but you just recognize that has nothing to do with you. It's one of the main parts of this entire thing right here is that it doesn't mean anything's wrong with you. That allows you to be more free. So realize you stop leaving you when you start valuing Instead of validation approval, vulnerability, authenticity. That's how you choose to show up in the world. Think of it like this. When we come back to this, you guys ready for dopamine hit? Now the dopamine hit coming back is the 40 to 100 bits per second right here that you experience a reality that's equal to the static on either end. It's like these beliefs that are out of alignment with you when you are abandoning you to make people happy, static. Static on either side. So a big part of this is understanding your connection, your connection to the higher vibrational you. You can feel in your nervous system when you are around something that feels natural for you. You could feel in your nervous system when you're around, when you're in alignment with who you really came here to be. Like right now, being, making this video, having fun with this video, letting my personality flow through, Letting the teachings come, teaching things in a new idea. Every time I show up to make these videos, I just trust that there's a certain level of information that will flow through, even if before I touch the button, I don't know exactly what it is. I've literally connected 2 or 3 ideas in this video that I didn't even know I was gonna connect because I'm in the energy. It just flows. Every one of us has this ability, by the way. So let's get into the flip in a minute. The flip, Every video we're going to have the flip. Okay? The flip is going to be the thing that if you flip, flips your entire life in a positive way. Okay? But to summarize a lot of what we're talking about here, you want these things that you want to experience in your life to be natural for you, not something amazing on a pedestal. It to be natural, to see it as natural for you. By the time I'd become successful, by the time I'd become somebody that has like certain kind of lifestyle where I travel the world doing what I love, it's natural. It's not this, oh my God, this is amazing. It's not this thing that I can't feel gratitude for, but it's this thing that's not like, if I would do that, then I would be enough. It's realizing that I'm enough already. It's having fun with it. It's realizing that as long as I'm showing up and I'm perfecting the craft, of course there's no perfect, but I'm being present with the craft, the craft of making videos, the craft of connecting these ideas together, it allows the energy to flow through in a very powerful way. One of the main things is acceptance. I'm gonna share with you the simple formula too that I learned that allowed me to go full-time that was very simple. I've already kind of shared it. I'm gonna share it again though 'cause I'm gonna wire it in with repetition 'cause I'm a teacher with a whiteboard, baby. You ready? The simple formula is this. Know, behave, and act as that version of you that already exists. The version of me that I was trying to be just even a couple months ago, doing lots of live events and all of this stuff, and doing it in a way in which it wasn't as resonant, just hot seat coaching people for like 8 hours a day, 3 days in a row. It's like now I have a structure and a formula. I like bringing people through a process. I like using my whiteboard, baby. Now that I'm in alignment with that, it's like everything's flowing because I also feel safe within that structure and this is more representative of me as a teacher. I've realized recently, even though I can coach people and help people transform their lives, I enjoy the most teaching. Teaching ideas with the whiteboard here on YouTube, teaching at a live event with hundreds of people or whatever. It's more of teaching with some coaching instead of me just hot seat coaching nonstop. It's a very different energy. It's like that version of me was always, I had access to, but I literally couldn't perceive of it because I was trying to be this other thing of who I thought I needed to be. I was creating static. So find that alignment through your feeling, through your nervous system. Become aware of the roles that you have. Remember, who are you? You're the soul, baby. You're not the role. People pleasing, overgiving, procrastination, hyper-independence, a control freak. You ain't a control freak, baby. You are an infinite spiritual being having a temporary human experience who you learned the control pattern as a kid as a survival mechanism. It ain't you, okay? Don't confuse a role or a pattern with who you are. It's not. You're an infinite being. So the flip to this entire process that will completely transform your life is to use this mantra. If you think of a mantra, here's the biggest payoff of this whole entire video. Think of the mantra of certain people have certain things they say, becomes little mantras like, oh, it always turns out like this, or why even bother, or whatever. What if your core question was, I'm good either way? I'm good either way. You're good either way because neutrality is something you have access to. You're good either way because your job is to focus on what you're passionate about. Your job is to show up authentically, vulnerably. Your job is not to focus on trying to make the plant grow. Your job is not to focus on controlling what people think of you. If you can let yourself be both worthy and not worthy at the same time, you can just be. The key to this entire process is presence. But become, see it as natural and be good either way. The real deep part of this process is becoming empty. It's what enlightened people talk about. They talk about how enlightenment itself isn't something you attain, it's something you naturally are. Attachment and resistance is what keeps you in that lower vibrational energy. It's the attachment to the ego, the pain body. And as you let go of that, you let energy flow through. And even though I'm able to use stories and explain and kind of like show my personality here, there's a lot of just flow, energy flowing, feels really good. And there's more of an intention for like a certain level of value and energy to flow through. So you have the ability to allow yourself to become empty, allow yourself to become lighter, allow yourself to become more free. And if you want to learn how to, by the way, begin to really shift your identity from the inside out, I have something that you can check out below. It is a meditation on becoming your future self. You can go ahead and download that meditation. It's free. You can listen to it, watch how it changes your life. Also, if you wanna learn more about this, you learn about what I call the pedestal effect. It's the best next video to watch after this to really wire in a lot of these ideas to let it be natural. I'm gonna go ahead and link that video right here.
