How to change your Appearance by changing your self-image (part 2)

In this video Aaron explains that the way you appear to others is largely a projection of how you see and feel about yourself. By accepting and reframing perceived flaws, cultivating a confident self‑image, and regularly visualizing the version of yourself you want to become, you can induce physiological changes (more dopamine and testosterone, less cortisol) that relax facial tension and alter your outward appearance. He recommends a daily 5‑10 minute visualization practice, especially before sleep when the brain is in theta/delta states, to condition the subconscious through feeling. This process does not magically grow missing limbs but can shift perception and confidence, leading others to respond differently and you to look more relaxed and attractive.

Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'll be sharing with you how to change your appearance by changing your self-image. Now recently I did a video on the same idea, and in that video I explained that more important than the way people see you is the way you see yourself. And the reason this is, is because when you go out into the world, you are projecting the way that you feel about yourself out to other people, and other people are responding to that self-image that you have. So one of the easiest ways to change the way other people view you is for you to first off change the way that you view yourself. And a part of that process is changing the way that you feel feel about yourself. So it involves accepting the different characteristics you have. It involves changing the way that you frame what you have. So if you have a mole on your face that you don't like, instead of seeing it as something that holds you back or something that you don't like, you could start to see it in a new light. And as you see it in a new light, you won't be projecting those insecurities out to other people, and other people will respond to that new state of being. Now in that video I say that in my intention behind that video was to help other people accept themselves more by changing the way that they view about themselves. And in the comments there were people that were saying that it is possible to change the self, like change our appearance. Now I wasn't saying in that video that it's not possible, but what I was saying was that it is possible to a certain degree and maybe then that's my own limitation or limiting belief, but the idea was that if somebody doesn't have an arm, uh, I don't think it's necessarily they're going to grow a new arm based upon the self image, but my point behind that was to maybe change the way not having the arm change the view you have of yourself, not having the arm, and then learn how to accept yourself more and more people would then perceive you in a new way. So it was more about just accepting the way that we view ourselves and understanding that as we begin to do that and we begin to hold the frame for who we are, people respond in a new light. Now with that being said, we can still change our appearance to a certain degree and maybe more. I'm just saying that the way I view it is that based upon who we are being and the way that we view ourselves, there's a certain level of relaxation that we have in the face. You may notice that when you feel confident about yourself that you look in the mirror and you feel like you look different. You might look more attractive as you feel more confident or you feel more relaxed, and you might notice that when you feel stressed out, you might look in the mirror and you might be able to see the tenseness in your face. Now, this is about understanding that as you change the way that you view yourself and as you start to embody yourself in a new light, you'll find that you then begin to have a new level of relaxation, a new level of state of being. So it's about getting to the core of the way you define yourself, reframing the certain characteristics that you saw as limitations, and then starting to view yourself in a new light. Now, one of the most powerful ways to do this is through the imagination. Now, if you were to visualize for just 5 or 10 minutes a day, you being the type of person that you prefer to be, the way that you would carry yourself, and you were to not just visualize it, but you were to begin to feel into it, you will find that you begin to embody that state of being and you begin to embody that version of yourself. Now, the funny thing is that when you go out into the world and you start to condition that feeling and you hold the frame for that version of you, and that just involves you deciding that that is who you are now, you'll find that you start to change the way that you come off to other people and you'll even look in the mirror and there'll be a new state of being underneath you. You'll start to feel more relaxed about who you are and as you do that, you will start to appear different. Now this is about understanding that there's more to you than just your physical self-image. There is also a self-image about how you feel about yourself and if you learn how to cultivate that, it will leak into the other parts of you. So as you start to feel more confident, you will start to relax more. You will start to release more dopamine, more testosterone. You will start to release less cortisol, which is the stress hormone which causes tenseness, and you will start to change your self-image. Now, the most powerful way that I found to do this is to use visualization as a tool to allow you to actually feel, to embody the best version of yourself. Now to do this, you could simply set aside 5 or 10 minutes a day, and what you can do is begin to imagine yourself being the kind of person that you prefer to be. Imagine yourself responding to other people in a new way. Imagine yourself in specific scenarios where you are embodying the best version of yourself and start to really merge yourself with that imagination, that imagery, And as you begin to do that and you begin to feel into it, you are then conditioning that as to a part of who you are. Begin to see it in your mind, feel it, make it a very visceral type experience, and just simply decide that that is who you are now. And I always recommend doing this, especially as we're going to bed at night, because when we're going to bed at night, we're moving from the more awake states of beta and alpha, and we're moving into a theta and delta state. As we're going to bed, which means we have more influence over the subconscious mind. And the way that we communicate with the subconscious mind is through the medium of feeling. So if we feel by imagining that as we're going to bed, maybe the last 5, 10 minutes of our day, we'll find that we have more impact over our subconscious mind. And then when we wake up in the morning, we're more likely to carry that conditioned feeling into our day. So do that before you go to bed. You'll find that you begin to change your appearance because as you begin to relax, as you begin to change the way that you feel, you will start to change the way other people view you. But more importantly is always the way you feel about yourself. So with that being said, I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Feel free to like this video if you liked it, share it if you found it of value, And as always, I will see you guys on the next vid. Peace, much love, namaste. Alright, bye.
