How to Create a Trigger to Attract What You Want (Powerful Law of Attraction Technique)

Aaron Doughty explains how to use everyday triggers like walking through a doorway or touching a car handle paired with specific emotions to reprogram your subconscious and shift your emotional state. The technique, drawn from Joe Dispenza and Tony Robbins, works by conditioning your brain to automatically generate desired feelings, which then influences what opportunities you attract.

This video will show you exactly how to create a trigger, which is an NLP technique, so that you can feel a certain way in order to attract what you want. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'm going to be sharing with you something I've just come to understand, something I started to apply a couple of days ago, and I've really been seeing great results with it. Now it came from reading a book by Dr. Joe Dispenza. I think it was How to Break the Habit of Being Yourself, and in that he was explaining how subconsciously there are certain people that when we see, there are certain associations that we tag to certain people and they make us subconsciously feel a certain way, a certain pattern of way that we've always felt before. Now you could think of this like I have a friend that anytime I see him, we're really goofy, so we always say random things. We do these weird gestures and it's just like, a fun type energy, and anytime I see him, I automatically start to feel that way. We start to act in that way because of that expectation and a little bit just because of that subconscious way of how we normally act. It's like just the expectation for how we are. Now, in the same way, what we can do is as there's certain people that make you feel a certain way and there's a certain way we start to mirror the expectation that we have with them, what we can learn to do is to set triggers for ourselves so that when we are seeing certain things, we start to associate associate certain emotions with it so that it elevates our state of being. Now when it comes to the law of attraction, a part of it that's important to understand is that our state of being plays an integral part of the whole process. Depending on how we feel will determine the meanings we give things, will determine the emotion that we are generating, which is going to attract certain opportunities and circumstances to us. So this is an important part and what we can learn to do is how to really be in that state of being that we prefer by associating certain memories with certain things that we actually see. So let's see a couple examples of stuff that I've been using, stuff that I see, that we see every day that we can associate these triggers with. Well, I say that there's something called segment intending, which is something that I've talked about before on the channel. It's something that I got from, I think Abraham Hicks, and segment intending simply means that before you go into certain situations, You intend for certain things to happen. What are your outcomes? Outcomes is also something that Tony Robbins talks a lot about. So what you might do is before you get in your car, you might have an intention to drive safely, to be present to the moment while you're driving to the next destination that you're going to. Maybe before you go to work, you're thinking to yourself, I want to connect with people today. I want to get things done. I want to feel good about it. You have little things that you intend to happen and you focus on that before you go into the situation. That's called like pre-paving. The situation or segment intending. Now in order to apply these triggers in daily life, one thing that you could do is every time you walk through a doorway, you set yourself a trigger that you're going to move up your posture and you're going to focus on feeling confident. That's something you can do. You're going to walk through a whole bunch of doorways every day and normally we just do it subconsciously. We walk through doorways, doesn't really mean anything, therefore there's no associations tagged to it. But what if every time you walk through a doorway, you paid attention to your posture and you decided to stand up straight because knowing that your posture influences the hormones in your body and how you feel, you'll start to feel more confident. So you stand up straight and you focus on intention of feeling confident and powerful. Now another thing you could do, and this is something I've been doing, is anytime you touch your door handle going into your car, what you could do is start to associate that with feeling safe. Feeling like you're having from point A to point B, you're having a safe commute. That's something you could do as well. Maybe every time you see money, you set yourself an association to associate that with something of gratitude. You feel grateful for what you have. As you do that, you're associating an emotion with something that you might see a lot. Anytime you pull money or you look at your credit cards in your wallet, you could associate that with gratitude. You'll start to link gratitude to money, which allows you to release any resistance and to really start embodying more of that state of being. You see, there's little things and you can get creative with this. What are some things that you want to associate more of that state of being in your life? It's simple as understanding that any meaning that we perceive in our life is a neutral idea. We associate it with being positive or negative depending upon our own perspective. This is something I talk about a lot. But it's so powerful because once you come to understand that you can tag any meaning that you want to anything, it's just based on you and what you prescribe to it. So in the same way, setting a trigger is as easy as having a certain association and then simply deciding that every time you walk through a doorway, every time you touch your car door, every time you see money, whatever it is, anytime you do that, you make a decision. You're going to focus on those things and on that association and feeling that emotion. Now over time this will get easier. At first this might seem like something that's hard to do, but with repetition, every time you go through a door, you will start to associate that with feeling powerful. Every time you get into your car and you touch your door handle, you'll start to associate that with safety. You'll start to just feel that emotion within you because of these triggers that we are setting within ourselves. So this is a powerful way for you to feel more of the emotion of what you want to experience and also really understanding Your state of being is something that you choose. You choose your associations. If you're around people that make you feel your state of being go down, decide to not be around them as much, or decide that you're not going to be dependent upon those associations that you've already created. Maybe just start to decide that I am who I choose to be in the present moment. I can feel however I prefer, and as you do that, you'll find that you start to feel differently. And remember, As you start to feel differently, you start to find that you start to resonate with new type of opportunities in your life, and that's why you can always remember this kind of mantra. The circumstances don't matter, only your state of being matters. That's the most important thing, and that is the one thing that you always have the ability to choose. So I encourage you to set these triggers by just associating with certain actions that you do, certain things that you see. Associate certain meanings to it so that you're really able to feel the way you want to feel and to start to choose your own state of being. So with that being said, I hope you guys enjoy this video.
