How to Surrender without Losing Control with the Law of Attraction

Aaron Doughty explains how to surrender to the present moment while maintaining control by shifting your internal state rather than forcing external outcomes. He argues that genuine change comes from feeling good and acting from inspiration, not from willpower or specific tactics. When you align with a preferred inner frequency, external reality naturally reflects those changes.

Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron Doughty and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'll be sharing with you how to surrender without losing control. Seems like a paradox. How can you do both? But really, the power in a lot of these videos is about understanding paradox. The ability to see both sides of the same coin and then to be right in the middle, and a lot of times right in the middle of understanding that awareness is where all the power is. Now this video is about understanding the job of what we call our ego and how we can more so focus on the outcome of what we want. We can have an intention of it, but we can more focus on our state of being. Now realize The true change to whether we've changed or not is not whether the external reality reflects back to us what we want. It's more of if our external reality remains the same, but how we feel on the inside has changed. So if we start to feel good, no matter what the external circumstances are, if we start to exist in a state of inspired action, we're much more likely to then see the external reality reflect back to us what we want, but it's coming from a point of being happy in the present moment, allowing the present moment to be, and the power of this whole video is understanding how we can cultivate that state of being. So with this, let's understand that we choose how we define the moment to be and we choose what we focus on. So sometimes in my own life, there'll be situations that happen where there's things that happen that I don't prefer. Maybe I, you know, at my sales job, something happens and I'm not getting good customers The moment that I start to define it as a bad day, the moment that I start to help a customer that I know is not going to buy anything, and the moment that I start to attach to that like label is the moment that that continues to perpetuate itself over and over again. Now it is a paradox because the moment I start to just allow the moment to be, it's almost like I surrender to it, is when I start to actually feel good no matter what. I'm not worried about if they're going to buy or how the things that's going to turn out for me. I start to focus on a lot of times just adding value to other people, whether that's even my emotional state of being. But as I begin to focus on what I can put out, adding value and how I'm feeling, that's when the external will actually begin to change. So I'll find that if I change my attitude, then the next customer I get is much more likely to buy, much more in resonance with my state of being, of me feeling good in the present moment. And the reason that's changed is because I changed how I'm being on the inside or how I'm acting in the present moment, and then everything begins to reflect. So it's about understanding that when we surrender to the present moment, we start to gain our power back. And when we start to view the process in a more expanded view, that's where the power is. Because instead of me focusing on that one situation and trying to control the outcome of it and trying to influence people Instead, what I do is I see it as a larger picture. I kind of expand myself out a little bit and I don't see them as a roadblock. I see them as someone that I can learn from how to be present to the moment. I can use it as a tool for me to become more present to myself, maybe even self-amused. And then as I change my internal state of being, everything begins to change on the outside. So it's about understanding we can surrender. To the moment and that it's not our job to figure out how things will happen. Our job is to focus on our state of being and then determine and define the moment to be the way we prefer. So the power of this whole video, I would say, is that if in the present moment you are at all resisting the present moment, maybe you're not where you want to be. Maybe you have goals and you're not necessarily accomplishing them. It's about having the intention for those goals, having the outcome that you might focus on for 10 or 15 minutes a day, but then from that point to focus on getting yourself to the state of being that you prefer by generating the state from within, by defining the moment to be something that you chose, and then you actually begin to align with what you want to create. So I know I say this a lot and I create daily content, so this might sound a little bit repetitive, but we don't create an experience in our life that which we want. We experience a reflection of who we are being. So based upon if we can change on the inside, if we can surrender to the moment, if we can have an intention for our goals, but then from that point of view, stretch our perception out and realize that we can experience every moment in our life as if we chose it. If we do this and we simply treat everything in our life as if we chose it, will find that we start to allow the moment to be more. We start to release the resistance, and as we release that resistance, our natural state point gets to rise, begins to rise, and as that rises, then we align with what we really want to experience. So the power of this video is more of about how can we change our energy state towards not needing the external to reflect back to us that which we want, but how can we be who we prefer to be in the present moment? Now I use this analogy a lot, but imagine the best version of yourself, how you would be acting, how you would be showing up, the body language you have, the way you would interact with other people. Now as you focus on that and you begin to feel it by imagining that it's happening right now, you begin to put the awareness inside your body. You can then see what that feels like and you can realize that you can recreate that feeling whenever you want. By simply focusing on it. You can recreate it in knowing that that's just simply who you are. And as you start to have that self-image for yourself and to realize that that's who you choose to be in the present moment, then your reality will begin to reflect that change that you've made. But remember, the true change is not whether the external changes. It's whether the external has remained the same, but you have changed on the inside. And the paradox is that the power is in. Then the external will change, but it will change from a point of you not needing the reflection to change. Just like you looking in the mirror, you don't need the reflection to smile before you smile. You choose to smile in faith and knowing that then the mirror reflection will begin to show that to you. So realize that it's more about how you can surrender to the moment. Realize that the job of your ego is not to determine how things will happen. The job of your ego is to focus on your state of being, on how you define the moment to be. Don't see things in your life as obstacles. Don't see them as barriers. See them and treat them as if you chose it. You can choose to learn things, maybe lessons, but as you begin to have that perspective, you'll then see that you start to align with who you're meant to be. You start to match the frequency of who you choose to be, and then the external will begin to reflect that. So with that being said, I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Feel free to like this video if you liked it, share it if you found it of value, and as always, much love, guys. Peace, much love. Namaste. All right, bye.
