Someone admits they stay small and avoid posting because they fear negative reactions. A coach pushes back, suggesting the fear is an excuse. The real block is self-imposed invisibility.
I've dimmed my light for people and I stay small. It makes it hard for me to even want to like film and put myself out there because I'm always worried about like, I don't know what happens in your body if you were to see a comment or somebody doesn't like what you're saying. For you, I mean, I haven't even posted, so it's not even about that. It's literally interesting, right?
Right. So, so maybe this, maybe this is just an excuse to not post.
Exactly.
Sometimes what happens is the blocks that we have are there because they're serving a purpose for us to stay in familiar energy. The way that you get through any of these blocks, by the way, is you feel the fear, you feel feel the emotion and you do it anyways. And what'll happen is you'll get your— turn on the camera, and what you'll do is you'll look at the camera and you'll think, this is a camera, it looks so weird, it's not a person. You'll start coming up with excuses that are all just ways of keeping you where you are, keep you from taking action. But the key is through the repetitions, through the action of doing it, through the dedication, it begins to shift the energy.
