If you feel like you're running out of time for love watch this

Aaron Doughty explains how the pressure to find love or have kids before time runs out actually blocks what you want. He says it's rooted in shame and inner-child wounds that create resistance. Healing that wound through inner-child work relaxes your nervous system and lets natural outcomes unfold.

If you could see this video, you may be feeling the pressure to either have kids, make it happen, or to attract the right partner so that you can get married, or the partner you currently have, you're wondering, come on, time's a-tickin'. And the more that that pressure is there, the more the desire is there, the more you may feel feel you are subconsciously actually blocking that thing from coming into your life. In this video, I'm going to show you the deeper energetics of this pressure. I'm going to show you what I have learned coaching literally thousands of people over the last 8 years, specifically on the topic of letting go. I've seen people that have had a pressure to get married or have kids. I've seen people transform through that pressure to become free, and I've seen people attract their dream partner or have kids after a long period of time of trying and it not happening. The first thing to understand about this, I wanna share that can be probably the more, the fundamental core process of this video is recognizing first off, there's nothing wrong with you. There's nothing wrong with you. You see, what happens is underneath the surface, If there's some form of shame or unprocessed emotion that says, why is it happening for this person and this person, this person, but not me? There begins to become an unprocessed energy under the surface, a belief that says there must be something wrong with me. It's not happening for me. And understand that what that pressure is, that pressure that you're feeling, that pressure is a control mechanism. A way of avoiding feeling the allowance of that shame is, "I will control. I will make this thing happen." So it becomes this way of mitigating uncomfortable emotion. Now, here's the tricky thing about the situation that might give you a little bit of relief in a way, but kind of paints the picture for this in a very powerful way. My girlfriend was sharing a story the other day when we were— I was actually coaching a friend of mine on this because she feels pressure to have kids. And it was something I could tell that like, once you know that the pressure creates resistance, you then have pressure to release pressure and it creates all— it makes it even harder. And what I was helping her do, and she found so much relief in it, she ended up texting my girlfriend afterwards like, "Thank you so much." Like the interaction that we had like shifted something inside of her. And gave her the ability to kind of release it. And that was that that energy is something normally that we avoid feeling. And the story that I'll share with you right now, and then I'll move on, is my girlfriend was at one point with other friends of hers, all of which are kind of like friends that are different stages of life. There was, for a long time, she was the single one. She had a friend that was in a relationship but wanting her partner to propose. Then there were friends in the friend group that had already had babies and they're married. And then there was some that like were together that weren't— that hadn't had a kid yet. There was like at every level there was what the other person wanted, the next person had. And what the realization was is that the single person wanted to be in a relationship. The person that was in a relationship wanted to get proposed to. The person that was already proposed to wanted to get married. The one that was married wanted to have kids. And one that had kids wanted to have more time to herself. So what happens is it's not necessarily that the external thing will shift and then you will be eternally happy. It's at every stage of the process. If there is stored shame inside of the body and a belief that there's something wrong with you, the lens through which you see becomes a way of bringing up that unprocessed emotion. So like, what if part of the reason this is happening is for you to learn to integrate unprocessed emotion that's underneath the surface and a surrender that you— it's not your ego's job to figure this whole thing out. This is a pivotal shift that can happen as you begin to realize and begin to play around with some of this awareness. And let's first off admit, the one that's desiring all of this, it's not just the thing It's what the thing means that's creating so much of the pressure and the desire. So it's like, let me ask you this. If you could force and get married and make it happen, but if it's with the wrong person, would it be worth it? If you could force having kids and you had a kid but it wasn't necessarily the right timing, which of course there's never right timing, but maybe there's, you know, it's a weird thing to say that's the wrong kid or something like that, but maybe you're having kids with the wrong person. Is that something that you would want? The reason I say that is because when we're trying to control that dynamic to get a specific result, trying to force the timing, it creates resistance. But there's no say that as an eternal spiritual being connected to God that you know when the right timing is and that it's your job to make it happen. So before I go deeper, we're going to go deeper into the inner child healing that may create a lot of freedom inside of you. But first off, Let's look at this. Let's look at this right here. Why people who adopt have kids who weren't able to have kids. Let's look at this right here. This is a phenomenon that happens a lot. People want to have kids. There's an author, there's an author I read this in. It was, he wrote the book called like Future Self or the Personality,— I forget, really well-known author that talks about that they, him and his wife had— they ended up not— they weren't able to have kids. So they adopted kids. Within a year of adopting a kid, they then had like a kid and then another kid. And this is a phenomenon where a lot of times people that try, they try, they try, they're doing it on the full moon and they're doing all these little like weird hacks, little witchcraft hacks. Because they want to control it and make it happen. And what happens is then they say they surrender, they let go, they adopt, they're in the energy of having a kid, they are in an energy of a nervous system that isn't stressed, that feels more whole and complete because they have what they want. And then as the nervous system is relaxed, guess what happens? Kid comes through. Now, who's to say if we— if we take this, I'm not sure what your spiritual beliefs are exactly, but let's look at it from a spiritual point of view. Okay, this is going to get a little bit out there for some of you that might be finding this video, but if we are eternal spiritual beings living temporary human experiences, what if someone adopting, for example, what if because I believe that even though we may pick our parents at higher levels of consciousness, even if someone's not your biological parent, there could be some form of contract there or agreement to grow up with a certain soul, for example. Like, for example, my mom had her biological parents up until she was about 13, 14 years old, then she had foster parents. My mom's foster parents, she was very close to. And I believe that from a spiritual perspective, my mom also believed this when she was alive, that her dad was like— her dad was— she called her foster dad, and they had a very deep connection all the way to the end. And part of this is, what if it's like certain souls may want an older brother or sister that is adopted, and then the first one that comes through, it's like that's a part of the family system or the family dynamic of what the soul signed up to learn at a deeper level. I know this is a little bit out there, but imagine that just simply the ego doesn't understand what's best, but at a deeper level, there's a timeline that maybe we can't see the whole thing, right? We can't see this whole thing. So somebody might be trying to force it to make it work with a certain person because they wanna get married in a certain time, convinced that this is the person, telling themselves that because they have a body clock that's ticking. But what if from a divine spiritual perspective, maybe the ego doesn't know it, but maybe there's actually, maybe this isn't the right person and maybe something happens and then the right person comes in and that's the deeper connection. I'm just talking hypothetically, we don't understand. Maybe the soul Talk about that for a minute. Get a little bit more esoteric here. Maybe the souls that want to come in want to come in at a certain time and in a certain way when you're at maybe a little bit different phase in the next couple years. Who knows? All I'm saying here is who knows. These are all hypothetical, right? But what I'm saying is when you let go of the pressure and you begin to more so trust something greater than you, you allow more of that energy to flow. But when you think that you need to be the one that makes it happen, what does that do to your nervous system? What does that do? It put— does that put you in a contracted state? Are you then putting pressure on someone else? Are you putting pressure on reality? That pressure creates resistance. And you're listening to that right now and you're like, "I know. How do I let it go? Tell me how to let it go." Now, what I recommend here is recognizing that in life, there are certain themes we come here to learn. A lot of times what I notice in people, clients that come with this kind of attachment, this kind of resistance, resistance is that many of these people have created some form of success in their life. There is a certain A-type personality of making things happen, and what happens is that might work in certain areas of your life. You could be super dialed in on calories, you could be super focused on your business, you could be super focused on certain areas of your life. But if we came here to learn patience and trust, would it actually serve us that we contracted, we're controlling, and then we got exactly what we wanted? Maybe there's a balance to this, to letting go of something, like something to surrendering to something greater than you. And that when you surrender to something greater than you, you then actually allow that thing more easily to come into your life. Now, this idea of like, can you make a plant grow? Can you make a plant grow? You know, you can put the plant in the sun, you can water the plant, but can you make it grow? You know that deep down you're not the one doing it. God does that. Something greater than the ego does that. Its own DNA does that. In the same way, you can set up the conditions to get married or to have a kid. That could be working on yourself, that could be with your partner trying to have kids. But at the same time, when you surrender and realize you aren't going to be the one that makes it happen, there's almost somewhat of a surrender to that process, a surrender to knowing that you don't understand the timeline of your life, of what you came here to experience. Of also, when that soul— I believe that the soul coming through is going to be connected to you and your soul, be connected at a higher level. And maybe that soul has a certain timing of coming in. So realize that this paradox of like when you, when you let go, like Letting go is about surrendering, realizing you don't know all of this. God does. And when you can surrender to something greater than you, and when you could focus more on enjoying the process, I know it's hard to say when there's all this heaviness around it, but when you could focus on enjoying the process, That's when your nervous system is most relaxed and that's when natural biology is most easily able to happen. So let's look now at the deeper part of this that may be very, that can be very healing, very powerful. And that is that the inner child healing here. If you were to imagine the inner child part of you that feels not enough, that feels shame, that feels like there's something wrong, what you can begin to do is you can begin to connect to that part of you. See, hear, soothe, and nurture the part of you that feels that. No need to fix it. No need to fix it to go away so that you can have a kid or so you can get married. It's about really developing a relationship with this part of you. And what happens is, as you do, it's almost like your nervous system begins to relax. It's almost like you begin to feel more, um, present with that part of you. You feel less alone. And what happens is then you're able to allow more. The analogy I like to use is like, imagine that as a kid you were metaphorically in the sandbox playing. Playing in the sandbox, and then something happened. And in the moment something happened, you got on alert. You became hyper-aware. Who do I need to be? What do I need to control? What do I need to make happen? And what happens is that control pattern stays on autopilot. That control pattern may give a lot of importance and meaning to something. And then the lens through which you're looking through into that is almost the permission to feel that unprocessed emotion that's coming up. I remember hearing a Joe Dispenza quote once that had something to do with like, you might feel guilty setting boundaries, but you might also be using those other people as an excuse or permission to feel the guilt that's unprocessed inside of the body. So as much as we can blame somebody else or blame an external circumstance, it may be the perfect lens through which it's allowing us to feel unprocessed emotion underneath the surface, allowing us to surrender and let go. So very often when people move out of control, that protective pattern, they begin to see, hear, soothe, and nurture that part of themselves. That's when there can be a relaxation inside of your nervous system, an acceptance, a trust, an acceptance that it's not something you can control. Accepting that part of you instead of trying to control that inner child part of you. When we hear certain stories and also a lot of the beliefs, like, are these actually my beliefs? Is this really what I want? Sometimes it could be what you want. It could also be the result of a lot of Disney movies, could be the result of, um, the timing of what you're told biologically. Between 25 and 34 is the time to do it. If not, there's going to be complications. There are people that have kids all the way up, I think even past 50. Now I'm not saying Not recommending that's what you have to do or anything, but the window is much, I think the window really depends, like someone's health could really extend that window quite a bit. Could be a way of like relieving some of that pressure and allowing yourself to more so connect to this energy right here, allowing yourself to feel and accept that emotion that's there. Letting go of the process and allowing God to be the conductor of this. Being more curious about it. Curiosity is a very powerful energy that allows you to go with the flow more. Accepting that it's not something you need to control. So in any area of your life where you're trying to control something to happen and you're creating pressure, recognize that a lot of that pressure is because of the meaning you're giving to it and what it means about you. It's meaning you're projecting. A huge part of the transformation of this is allowing yourself to feel that emotion that's coming up instead of trying to mitigate it by controlling it, by having the fear that is there. Accept the fear, accept the shame, process it. See, hear, soothe, and nurture that inner child part of you. Surrender and give it up to God, something greater than you. Realize there's a timing to everything. Maybe the timing of the soul coming through is once you learn patience. It's once you learn to let go. Maybe that timing of that soul has a certain time it wants to come in. Maybe there's a certain timing to your relationship that you're not aware of right now. But letting go is a very powerful way of allowing acceptance to come into your body. Allowing yourself to accept more than try to, try to make it happen. So if you do want, by the way, an inner child meditation that can be very powerful, I have a free inner child meditation. I'll go ahead and link below that you can check out. And if you want me to make more videos on topics similar to this, one thing I did is I put inside my, my community of 80,000 people in a community. It's free. Ask them about this, the pressure around kids and marriage. What was the shift for you to either let go of outcome, or maybe you couldn't have kids, then you could have kids? There's a whole thread in there as well. And maybe in a future video, I'll share some of the insights, or I'll share some of the things that people said, some other people's stories, so it's not just some guy talking to you, and you can actually hear it from other women, other people. You know, men want kids too. Men want to get married to. So it's like, of course, it's a different, different context, 100%. But understand that in general, there's, uh, the community of the group of all of us connected together could be really cool for healing because we see ourselves in other people. So with that being said, if you also want a meditation for letting go, I'll go and put one of my most powerful meditations right here that you can listen to that over the next 21 days can completely change your energy.
