Is what you seek REALLY seeking you?

Aaron Doughty reinterprets the Rumi quote "What you seek is seeking you" to mean the object of desire lives within you, not that external things chase you. He argues consciousness creates reality through belief, and cites declassified CIA Gateway Experience documents on brain coherence. His example: he lost AirPods in Las Vegas, searched everywhere, then found them in his shoe, showing how belief in lack creates unnecessary struggle.

You've probably heard the quote before: "What you seek is seeking you." Now, what if this quote, which was written by Rumi thousands of years ago, what if this quote in its true meaning of what it was meant to mean would completely transform your life if you embodied it? And what if the way that this quote normally is understood is so surface level that it keeps people caught up in the game, in the trap of seeking and not understanding the deeper meaning of what it means about reality. Well, when I applied the true meaning of what this quote means in my life, it completely transformed everything and it allowed me to create my life from the inside out. Now, first off, understand that this quote is very often misinterpreted Because it was written, and it is a Persian poem that comes from that of the original language of Farsi, which is a Persian language, the way that it is actually meant to be translated is that what you seek is within you, not what you seek is seeking you, in the sense that you look around and you find these things you're seeking, and then those things are also seeking you. It's understanding that it actually goes much deeper than that. It goes that what you seek is in you, literally. This also gets to the core of how does reality work. You've probably maybe seen my videos on the CIA Gateway Experience, talking about how the CIA explored that of understanding consciousness by using these meditation CDs from the '80s. To have out-of-body experiences to explore our reality. There's a whole video that I have on that if you're like, what are you talking about? But basically what they learned through— the CIA actually has documents that explain what happened when they did these meditations to then go out of body to understand reality— is that we do live in a form of hologram, that what we experience is a reflection of what we believe to be true. It's our own perception. And what happens is when we change our energy by using what is called in those documents, it's called Hemi-Sync, balancing out the left and right brainwave activity. And what happens is when we create coherence, we have more impact over reality. Now jumping back to that of this idea of what you seek is within you, or what you seek is seeking you, it's understanding that when you are able to have mind and heart coherence by feeling grateful for something before you have it, understanding that you can feel the emotions now, what ends up happening is you end up putting out a field of energy where you can then perceive of what you seek is seeking you, it's what you seek is within your field, and therefore you become an energetic match to it. Do you see the difference there? Because if you believe that things you're seeking are seeking you, let's look at the vibration of seeking. If you're seeking it, it's not here now. I'm seeking it, where is it, where is it, where is it? It's not here now, it's not here, and it's not here now. And then the other thing that you're seeking is also seeking you, so the other thing you're seeking is like, I'm seeking it, it's not here. Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? So you're in one room going, where is it? Where is it? Where is it? And then the thing that you're seeking that's also seeking you, whether it's a person or it's a thing or it's a job opportunity or whatever, they're looking for you, but you're both in the vibration of seeking, which is the vibration of it's not here now. It's not here now. It's not here now. Where is it? It's over there 'cause you're seeking it 'cause it's not here now. It's not within the field. Now, the reason this is such a game-changing transformational idea if you really apply the original meaning is because it means it's all here now. It's about embodying those emotions now, not waiting, not seeking, not looking for it on the outside. This is very often the block for many people. Is they're looking, they're looking, they're looking. Now, very often the things you look for, it's almost like you just believe you don't have it, so therefore you go looking for it. You're choosing to play the game. I'm in Las Vegas right now for a few days seeing family before the holidays, and one thing I did yesterday is I got in— I was in LA for 4 months, I lived there. I'm kind of traveling, living wherever I want. Instead of just like living in one city. So I was in LA for 4 months. I packed up everything and then came to Vegas for 4 days. And then I'm going to Sedona for like a couple weeks. And then I'm going to Miami for 3 months. So anyways, while I was in LA, I then came here and I thought I lost my AirPods. Now, first off, you may hear Aaron is using AirPods, the Bluetooth, whatever, whatever. 'Cause sometimes I post on Instagram like, oh, they see me with AirPods and they're like, don't you know that's frying your pineal gland? It's calcifying you. Bluetooth technology is controlling your mind. Can you imagine having that belief that things like, understand beliefs create reality. So if I were to believe that Bluetooth is gonna fry my brain and then I avoid it and I get something else, It's like the belief itself may be also creating the resistance. Does that make sense? This is my way of saying I use AirPods, but I don't, I personally, because beliefs create reality, don't choose to believe that it's frying my brain. I think my energy is more powerful than being controlled because I'm using Bluetooth. I know this sounds like a tangent, by the way. It's just sometimes I can, when I'm making a video, I can feel into even on Instagram, I see comments and stuff. I'm like, oh, that's your belief. I don't have to take on that belief. Now, nonetheless, it's almost like, yes, certain foods may be bad for you, but if you believe that you're guilty for eating them and that you believe that it's just so bad for you, that negative emotion goes into it, makes it way worse, I guess what I'm saying. Maybe there are some effects of Bluetooth, whatever. Despite the fact this is, The whole tangent, I wear AirPods. Okay, anyways, I come to Vegas, I'm staying on the Strip, and I can't find my AirPods. Thought I lost 'em. So before I was meeting up with another YouTuber friend of mine for like a little dinner just to catch up that also lives in Vegas, I'm like, I'm gonna go to the Apple Store at the Forum Shops, the Caesars Forum Shops. So what I do is it's like a half-mile walk. I go out and I'm kind of walking very fast to get there so I can get back in time to go meet my friend for dinner. And then as I'm walking, there's these obstacles. There's all this construction happening, so I gotta walk across the street, then I gotta go back and blah, blah, blah. I finally get all the way to the Caesars Forum Shops. I find the Apple Store. I go in to the mecca so I can get my AirPods. And then I go in and she goes, I go, yeah, I lost my AirPods. I could have them somewhere in my luggage, I don't know. She goes, well, check the Find My app or whatever. Basically, there's this app where I could see and track my AirPods. I didn't know that. I kind of knew that, but I didn't know. I knew there was like AirTags. I didn't know AirPods actually were tracked. She goes, oh, look, it shows that it's at this specific hotel. It's at this hotel there. It's at this hotel. And I'm like, oh, that's the hotel I'm staying at. And then she's like, you just push this button that makes a noise. And I was like, what? And I was like, how do I have it? I looked everywhere for it. I looked all through my luggage. How could I have this? Well, what I end up doing is I'm like, "Okay, well, thank you. I guess I saved a couple hundred bucks." I walk all the way back here. I push this thing on my phone. Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. And I find it inside of a shoe. It was inside a shoe. Because a couple, like a week before I moved, I was getting out of my car and I put it inside my shoe and I totally forgot about it. So what happens is because I believed I did not have my AirPods. I then walked all the way to the Apple Store to get it when I had it the whole time. What I seeked was not seeking me because I already had it. Isn't that a crazy idea? I'm seeking the AirPods. I don't have the AirPods. I don't have the AirPods. I don't have the AirPods. And then I go all the way to that of the Apple Store and they say, you do have the AirPods. Huh? I come back, push the button, find the AirPods. What I seeked was not seeking me. What I seeked, I already had. But you see, I believed I didn't, so I went everywhere looking for it of where it was not. Isn't that what a lot of people do with attracting love? They're seeking love, they're seeking approval, they're seeking from other people, and they just believe they don't have that love. They believe they need it from someone else, so they play the game of going all the way to the Caesar's Forum shops, all the way over the obstacles, and then they finally get there to be told, you already have it. And that's sometimes the biggest epiphany. Now, not only this, What you— in the relationship, here's the thing that happens when you attract someone into your life. They're reflecting back what you believe about you. You may believe they have the love you're looking for, when in fact they are simply reflecting back the love that's already inside of you. They're a reflection. But we put stories on people and say, no, you're the thing. You're the only love. You're the only deep connection. And we believe that, so therefore we don't give ourselves permission to feel the love. Now sometimes as well, we may love who we allow ourselves to be when we're with someone. Maybe when we're with someone, we feel hopeful. We feel more expressive. We give ourselves permission to feel validated. And once again, where are those emotions? Are those emotions in them? Of course not. Those emotions are inside already. They're already in you. So we're just playing silly games. We're just playing these silly games. We're like, what? I mean, what? What I seek is seeking me, and I'm seeking it, and we're seeking, seeking. It's not here, it's not here, it's not here. Where is it? Where is it? Uh-huh. We just believe it's not here, and therefore we don't experience it. We're choosing to play the game. Why are we playing this game? Well, maybe it was a game that never closed out in childhood. Maybe mom and dad's approval and validation and getting them to meet our needs it like was in a closed loop. So we attract people into our lives that replay those same dynamics. Because what we're really learning to do is to forgive, to accept ourselves, to love ourselves, and then to open up our heart, to open up instead of closing in where that's safe and familiar. So understand that one of the biggest transformations you can experience in your life is when you stop playing the games that you've learned to play, realizing they don't have what you think they have. They're a reflection. But you see, the reflection can't change until you have the self-acceptance and the inner awareness inside of you that you already contain it all. Then you're not going to go looking everywhere where it was not, just like my AirPods were in my shoe. Who puts AirPods in shoes? It's kind of weird, isn't it? Are you judging me? Are you judging me right now? If I feel judged, where are those emotions? Are they in you? Are you causing me to be judged or am I judging myself, projecting that onto you? I'm just saying. Interesting thing to think about. What if all reality is? Is a reflection of what you believe to be true. So what you seek is seeking you. It's actually what you seek is in you. And the beliefs you have are in you, and you experience on the external a reflection of what you believe and what you know about yourself. This is why they say to know thyself. Find your purpose. What are you passionate about? These are the things that will really give your life meaning. These are the things that put you in alignment with fulfillment. Fall in love with the process, the process of who you become, the process of the self-acceptance inside of yourself, instead of falling in love with the end result, the thing you're seeking that's also seeking you, by the way. Doesn't it feel good? You're seeking it, it's seeking you. I feel so wanted and loved, it's seeking me too. But the problem is seeking is a lack energy. Seek, seek, seek, seek. Not here, not here, not here, not here. I don't have it, I don't have it, I don't have it, I don't have it. That means they're also sitting over there in the room going, I don't have it, I don't have it, I'll have it, I'll have it. You're saying I don't have them, they're saying they don't have you. Your eyes all seeking, you're all in lack. But really, they're a reflection of you. That's the game-changing idea that will completely transform life if you begin to embody it. Now, if you wanna learn more about that CIA gateway experience I'm talking about and how to balance the mind-heart coherence, it's one of my most popular videos. I'm gonna go ahead and link that video. Watch it and watch how much your life begins to transform if you begin to apply this mind and heart coherence I'm talking about. It's gonna be right here. What if there was hidden esoteric information about how reality works
