it took me 8 years to learn these life changing lessons on manifestation, awakening and LIFE

In this reflective monologue, the speaker explores the apparent paradox between setting clear intentions, taking consistent action, and fully surrendering to the flow of life. Drawing from personal experience—most notably a period of producing seven YouTube videos per week and a later shift to a more relaxed, yin‑focused routine—the speaker illustrates how self‑image, belief systems, and daily habits shape reality. He explains that beliefs act as self‑fulfilling prophecies, causing people to cling either to relentless effort or to passive surrender. The concept of the "middle way" is introduced as a balanced, yin‑yang approach where one meets the universe halfway: act when resistance is high, surrender when over‑action stalls progress. The narrative weaves in a 2012 spiritual awakening, a 2020 intensive shadow‑work phase, and the importance of awareness in recognizing which side of the spectrum one occupies. Practical tools are offered, including a 21‑day letting‑go meditation and a vibration‑raising meditation, encouraging listeners to experiment with daily practices, monitor their internal stories, and trust the metaphorical river of the universe to carry them forward.

Having an intention over here and surrender over here. These two things seem a little bit sometimes paradoxical, like how am I supposed to have an intention, take action every day, but then surrender? Because sometimes we may actually associate and think that surrendering means that I'm not doing anything. And there's a lot of these concepts in spirituality that sometimes don't necessarily make that much sense. And even one of them for me recently has been understanding that less can actually be more. And this actually came, you know, back in the day I was making 7 videos a week on this YouTube channel, and 7 videos a week was what got me to where I'm at today with the amount of— the message has grown. However, here's the thing that I realized about it. I used to have a perspective, and I used to actually see myself as lazy. I used to think that like I was just thinking thoughts about what I wanted to create, but nothing was really happening. And then one day I just decided I'm gonna make a video every single day on YouTube, and then things exploded after a period of time after I really committed to that vision. Within 3 or 4 weeks, things started to really take off, and it served me to that point for me to have that mentality. Because what happened is, as I started making daily videos, it started to change my self-image. I started to see myself as somebody that wasn't just lazy, kind of like thinking a better thought and hoping things happen. Nothing wrong with that, by the way. Actually, thinking a better thought for me, I think, can be powerful, but also understand we live in a spiritual reality, but also we're having a physical experience. Because we're having a physical experience, one of the ways our reality works is physical action is a powerful way of getting results. So, and maybe it's a limiting belief that we would take action, but the path of least resistance for me was to take action. As I did, it began to change my self-image. I started to see myself as somebody that could set my mind on something and then do something and get a result. The problem is that then I developed a belief system that it, I had to always be having like really hard work for me to be successful. So that was like a double-edged sword in a way. So then Here I am, even to this day, I was making like 7 videos a week and I'm like, wait, I can let go a little bit more. I can relax a little bit more. But here's something, this is a huge epiphany that I had recently. I thought that making a daily video on YouTube was what was getting the success because then there was more content and there was more and more information out there and that's what the key was. And I was afraid to make less because I thought that if I make less, then there'll be less results. Here's the interesting thing. Because of my belief about it, that was my reality. One of the things that I share a lot in this channel is that all truths are true. Whatever we believe to be true is being reflected back to us. So I had this belief, this perspective, that if I stopped making daily videos, then there'll be less results, then everything may not grow as much. And that was a self-fulfilling prophecy that was keeping me in a mindset of always having to work hard. But what I've realized recently is like, what if I change my perspective on that? What if I allow myself to let it be easy? What if we started a mantra like that? Just let it be easy. Let it be easy. Let it be easier than you're making it. Now with that, it's the double-edged sword that I'm talking about where there's this paradox because what some people may need to hear is to take more action. I know when I was on my spiritual journey back in 2012, I went through a spiritual awakening and I remember I didn't, I was just meditating all day. I didn't wanna have a job. I literally went into my job one day, I was like, I'm not coming in. I worked at Nordstrom's, didn't even put in my 2 weeks. I said, tomorrow I'm not coming in. I was mad at, I was also mad at upper management there. So I just did that. And what ended up happening is I started meditating all the time. Luckily I lived at my mom's house, so I was able to kind of do that. I did that for like 6 months. 6 months. I was just focused on my spiritual growth. I was studying, I was reading, and what I needed to hear at that time was— I knew that I became more and more passionate about sharing these ideas, but what I needed to hear was to actually take action. I didn't want to hear it, let me tell you that too. I did not want to hear that. I just wanted to meditate. I just wanted to be in my own bubble. I didn't want to have to go out into the low vibrational 3D world and be around and do all this stuff. But that's what I needed to hear at the time, was to actually take action. and it was a powerful realization for me. And then now what it is though is now that I have taken action, it served me to a certain point. And what some people may need to hear is to let go a little bit more, stop trying to control the outcome of things, surrender. So that's what we call the middle way. There's something called the middle way and what the middle way is is it's not the extreme of this, it's not the extreme of that, it's right down the middle. And you can kind of catch yourself when you start going one side to the other. So when we talk about surrender and taking action, it's like, where are you in this? Are you taking action but feel very resistant? Then maybe surrender a little bit. Are you super surrendered to where you're not taking action at all? The things aren't moving? Then maybe try new things, take action. It's this middle way. Imagine, you know, I'm at this creek right now and you see this water going down the stream, going all the way down. And imagine there's two ways to go down the stream. One way is you could just float on a raft down the stream and you can enjoy the scenery. You look up, you see all these trees, and it would just be beautiful. But imagine the second way. The second way is you're on the raft and you don't trust the raft. You don't trust the direction of where it's taking you and you're like, You're like clawing your way and you're like hanging onto branches and it's so resistant. The thing to understand is that the universe is very much like this river. We can trust the universe to take us where we need to go. We don't have to fight so much. We don't have to try so hard, and what we'll find is that the more we let go, the more we actually find out that the universe and the, the river, whatever we want to call it, will actually take us with it. So it allows more of that to be in that flow, to be in that kind of mentality. So a lot of this and a lot of what I'm sharing is there is a middle way, and in order to get to that middle way, you have to know where you are and you have to be able to gauge yourself honestly. And be aware of the story you're telling yourself around what side of the spectrum you're on, but also the story that you're telling yourself about where you are. Just like me, I was telling myself a story, oh, I have to do this to keep the momentum going. And that was keeping me taking a lot of action, and that was keeping me believing that I had to work really hard to be successful. But a lot of what this really is, it's awareness, and it's awareness of of an honesty with yourself and where you are in this process. So with many of these things, it's a double-edged sword. There's two sides to the coin. And what you could begin to do is— that's where awareness really is the key to this. Is it letting go and surrender, or is it taking a lot of action and trying really hard? The more we become aware of where we are in that spectrum. And there'll be different points at different points in your life. Right now, like 3 months ago, I went through a period where I was just letting go. I stopped making YouTube videos as much. I stopped even my diet. Like I had a very strict diet before that. I literally stopped. I was like, I'm going into yin phase. And what I did is I literally came to the creek like every single day. That was like my main focus was like coming to the creek. It was relaxing and like being in that yin. But what I eventually learned is that that served me for a period of time, but now I'm moving more into the yang phase, taking more action. It's funny, I even took off this little thing that I wear. It's a Whoop. It tracks all my calories and my sleep and all this stuff. And it was a very yang thing. It's like, I gotta let that go. I gotta be more into yin. And it served me, right? But remember, there's different seasons for different energies. And there could also be a balance of both. Maybe it's not you go completely into yin or yang. Maybe it's you learn how to just kind of stay even in your day with that, right? Like in your day, like I'm at— I'm right now, this morning was yang. I was doing my— I was doing business things. I was making videos. I was like making podcasts, videos, email stuff. Now I'm in yin phase. Well, it kind of yin-yang, right? That's the balance we're talking about. But realize that The middle way has really been the key for me and being really honest with myself, with my own beliefs, because beliefs create reality. All truths are true. Everything is a self-fulfilling prophecy. So here I am like, well, I have to keep making daily videos to be successful. Well, and so it is. Everything we tell ourselves is a story. And now what I'm learning to do is become aware of those stories, let them go, and then make new choices about who I am. And also having that awareness of the, the way the universe works. The universe will carry you right where you need to go, but sometimes you do need to meet the universe halfway because the universe wants to know that you're committed to your vision, you're committed to your purpose. Even if you don't know what that is, make it your full-time job to figure out what your passion is. They literally spend— you could literally— you set that intention to be very powerful. And then what you do is you start reading, you start coming up with ideas, you start looking at books, and you'll eventually get more and more evidence, more and more feedback on what that could be. And then you commit yourself to that vision. That's exactly what I did. I committed myself to a vision. And even if the mirror of life— because realize life is like a mirror reflecting back to us what we believe to be true. And if we just change like this, and then we're like, oh, I don't see the mirror change right away, there's a delayed response from the mirror of life because there's a certain momentum that's been going. So a lot of this transformation of what I'm sharing in this video of the power of these kinds of ideas is being aware of that balance, committing to your vision and understanding where you are in that spectrum. It's been pivotal for me this year in 2020 has been a year of massive shadow work. So much shadow work. It's crazy. Uh, masculine, feminine polarity, ditching a people-pleasing mentality. I thought I dealt with it like a year ago. There's still little, little parts of it that I'm like, oh yeah, there it is. And I tell myself a story, oh, this is how, this is my past, this is what I went through growing up, and this is why I am now. And that was a self-fulfilling prophecy, it's a story. But the key is awareness to everything, everything I share on the channel, it's all about awareness. But if there's one thing that you get out of this video, it'd be to realize that you can allow the universe to take you where you need to go and you can trust it. But all you might need to do is walk to the river. You might need to like put the raft down and get on the raft and go. So it's— that's the action part. And then trust where the river takes you and stop trying to control and stop trying to resist. The more I control and resist, the more it persists and the more it's then butchered up vibrationally. I was trying to come up with something that would rhyme with that, but I couldn't think of anything. Something. There is a meditation that I have too that helps with this a lot. It's a letting go meditation. Listen to that for 21 days. There's also a meditation on raising your dominant vibration. When you raise your dominant vibration, things become easier than ever. It's easy to be in this middle way. It's one of my most popular meditations. I'll go and put it right in the description box below. Check that out. Listen for 21 days. Read the comments to see what's possible. I really believe it could change your life. And other than that, hope you guys enjoyed this video. I'll talk to you guys later. Peace, much love, and namaste.
