It's boring, but it will skyrocket your vibration instantly

Aaron Doughty argues raising your vibration isn't about new techniques but shedding the identity you're attached to. Watch thoughts instead of becoming them, recognize that more thinking creates resistance, and uncover the nervous-system patterns keeping you contracted. Somatic forgiveness, heart-coherence, and daily micro-shifts rewire your set-point.

What if the key to raising your vibrational set point is more about unbecoming who you thought you were and becoming a vessel for something greater than you? What if what enlightened masters say is true, which is that enlightenment, love, joy, and peace is not something you attain, it's something you naturally are? And the key is simply reducing and releasing the resistance you're attached to. Just like the Buddha said, the key is understanding that attachment is what creates suffering, and that attachment is resistance. And what happens is when we let go of this resistance, we allow ourselves to naturally be in the love, the joy, the peace that we naturally are. And when you begin to also learn of the metaphor of the cork on the ocean, if you put that cork underneath the ocean, There's resistance. When you let it go, it naturally raises back up. In this video, I'm going to show you a masterclass on understanding the patterns that are literally underneath the surface that are keeping you trapped. I'm going to show you the 2 or 3 things that completely shifted my life, that allowed me to go from working a 9-to-5 job I hated to literally living my purpose full-time, living in abundance, traveling the world, doing what I love. Everybody has this ability, including you. When you look back, you'll be able to see that this video completely shifted the way in which you show up in the world, the way in which you relate to yourself, and the way in which you relate to other people. With that being said, let's get into it right now. So the first thing is understanding your relationship to thinking itself. Okay, back in 2012, this was probably the biggest shift in my life, and it was when I went through 2 or 3 different shifts that all made the difference. The first one is I learned how to observe my thoughts rather than thinking my thoughts. This was, this was huge because our relationship to thinking has a very powerful effect on our vibration. You can think of your vibration as a mix of how you think, how you feel, and how you act. These 3 things make up your vibration. Now, what a lot of people say, and you'll sometimes see this in certain, like, spiritual teachings, and I don't actually promote it, but what people will sometimes say is that in order to be and raise your vibration towards enlightenment, you have to think thoughts more than shame. If you're at shame, feel guilt thoughts or think guilt or fear or anger, and you just get a little bit more with what you're thinking and then you'll raise your vibration. And what I find that does is it actually suppresses energy. We don't want to suppress energy. What we want to do is actually embrace the energy that's under the surface. So what happens is thinking more thoughts actually creates more resistance. That's the first thing to understand. Now, when I tell this to you though, here's what happens. You think, oh my gosh, Aaron, I need to stop thinking thoughts. So I'm gonna think about not thinking so many thoughts, but what does that do inside your body? What does that do? It creates more resistance, right? So when you try to think, feel, and act differently, if you put that pressure on yourself, then what happens is you'll feel more resistance because there's more importance that's given to thinking. And in 2012, when I went through this first shift right here, which alone I think can completely shift your life, this shift in consciousness changed everything because it started to create a separation between two different parts. Are you ready for this? So there is the thinking part of us that is reacting to everything in life. And what happens is that's who we think we are. Now, when I learned this was when I was selling women's shoes. And at the time I wanted a different way of like managing my energy. I wanted a different way of, I was taking Adderall, which is like for ADHD, which had really harsh side effects and smoking and doing all of these things to balance out my energy. And literally I wanted a way without side effects to like manage it. So I came across meditation. Now the first day of meditation, there was actually an increase in thinking because I was like, I don't want to think negative thoughts. I'm going to manifest something bad. I saw the movie The Secret. I don't want that to happen. So then guess what happened? I felt more and more negative thoughts and I was trying to control my thinking and the more I tried to control, the more resistance I felt and the more I was afraid of my thinking because I didn't want to manifest something bad. But then a couple days in, like a day or two after that, I found this, this article that talked about a certain type of meditation, one that changed everything for me. And it was very simple. I got a candle flame, I stared at the flame, and I focused on observing my thoughts rather than trying to control my thoughts. I just let them come in and go out. And what happens is as I let them come in, they then would come in, I would observe them. Kind of like you're at a park bench, chilling at a park, just watching people walk by. What you could do is just let them go. You don't have to control them. That observation was how I related to my thoughts. And literally I started to feel this spaciousness I started to feel different. And that was when really one of the first shifts happened where on a scale of 1 to 10, I probably normally felt at about a 3 out of 10 with 10 feeling amazing, 1 feeling horrible. I would smoke or drink and go up to like a 5 or a 6. But then what happened is slowly I started to literally feel like I was about an 8 or 9 out of 10. And I would, I remember walking around my room a few weeks later asking myself, This feels too good to be true. Can this be permanent? And luckily that became my set point. Yes, it would still adjust if things were happening in my life and I might fall down, but then I would come back up once I meditated and observed my thoughts again and I felt the emotions underneath the surface. So that, and then within 2 or 3 weeks, completely stopped taking Adderall, stopped smoking, everything. My whole entire life transformed. Literally when I went to work, People were like, what is, you are so different. And my, literally that's how quickly your energy can change when you learn how to observe your thoughts rather than react to your thoughts. That relationship right there is what some people don't realize is the key to the awareness because you think thoughts, but guess what? You're not your thoughts. You feel emotions. You're not your emotions. You may behave and have certain habits, but you're not your habits. You may go out of the frame. I'm just kidding. But understand that this is really a process of understanding the, the, the energy in which you relate to your thoughts. Now look at this photo right here. There's a photo right here of— I got an aura photo in Sedona at a place that actually has like a really fancy, expensive. It's actually an old-school aura machine that's considered to be the most accurate. It's very expensive. Most places you go for aura readings or whatever in Sedona are like, they're not really legit machines, kind of like cheap versions of it. This one is from someone that's been on like show, reality shows, showing like the power of the aura reading, stuff like that. This right here was my aura after 2 weeks of a no social media detox. I was meditating, observing my thoughts, reading books, but meditating, going in nature. And that was the effect of having that kind of relationship to observing my thoughts. And for many of you, simply having a meditation practice of observing your thoughts can be key for this because you think thoughts, but you're not your thoughts. You feel emotions, you're not your emotions, but as you become aware of this, you shift so much. So how you think is a big part of this. How you feel is another part of this. So now, but remember how you think is not about thinking more. It's actually about thinking less and becoming more empty. This is something Buddha talked about. This is something other enlightened masters have talked about. It's less about becoming and attaining and it's more about unbecoming and becoming empty. Allowing energy to flow through, allowing magic to flow through. We all have that ability. Okay, so let's go, let's go. First off, I'm going to share all these other ones that are also extremely powerful here in a moment. Now when you think of this, let's first off think of some of the things that go into our dynamic or our identity. The first one is our roles, the roles of who we believe that we are. So when we think of this, think of it like how you think, feel, and act makes up your identity, but there are certain roles you may have taken on as a kid that might be subconscious, holding resistance patterns inside of your body. Here's one of the main parts of this video that I haven't really talked much about before, but I think can completely change your life. Okay, so let's first off look at this right over here. So this right here is what I teach in my programs and at my live events. Okay, you're going to get a little sneak peek right here. Okay, so if you're excited about this, maybe comment or like the video. Let me know. I'm going to kind of reveal some of this. So basically when you think of your energy field, what, what can be a little bit trapping sometimes is when you look at this scale right here and you go, oh my gosh, there's this scale of consciousness. I want to get up here. I don't want to be down here. If I'm down here, this is negative. Guess what happens when you think about that though? Guess what happens when you think that? You actually create resistance because you're saying, I'm not comfortable here, but the more you allow yourself to be comfortable in feeling and allowing the energy to flow, the more you will go high level. It's a paradox, isn't it? It's actually the degree to which you become comfortable with this emotion is the degree to which you will actually process it. And as you process it, you'll naturally raise your vibration more to love, joy, peace, and maybe eventually enlightenment, like the enlightened masters say. But here's the key to this. What the thing that I've, that I've really focused on is resistance really is the culprit here. So really this is about changing our relationship to resistance. And this is what I have seen literally thousands of people at my live events go through. It's what I've seen people, like hundreds of thousands of people, go through my challenges online through like free virtual live events. And this is what I think will completely transform your relationship to your body, your energy vibration, etc. Okay, so it's about understanding that contracted to expanded. Obviously we want to expand, but remember To expand, we gotta feel the emotion underneath the surface. We gotta let it be there. We gotta create a new relationship instead of thinking thoughts and trying to control our thoughts. What's the new relationship? We observe them. We let them be there instead of trying to suppress emotion, shame, fear, guilt, whatever, not wanting to feel it because we don't want to manifest something bad. We focus on actually becoming comfortable with it. Exactly, letting it flow through our body so we complete the past. So all of this stems from this understanding that what we're really trying to do is open, okay? We contracted, that's where we are attached, we're in control patterns. And what we wanna do is we wanna become more open. Now the good thing is when you're open, you don't have to think so hard. When you're open, you don't have to control your emotions so much. When you're open, ideas will come to you out of the unknown. When you're open, there's a flow state that's involved. Some of the people recently at the Olympics, you probably saw the Olympics happening, right? You see a lot of those figure skaters, you see some of the skiers. Do you think the skiers are like going down the road, going down the hill, and they're like, carry the 7, I gotta go over here, then I gotta do this. No, they're not thinking any of that. They're just in the moment. You could even say some of these, uh, like figure skaters, it's almost like they've been figure skating since they were little girls, little boys, whatever. But there's like a play that's involved. There may be some pressure there, of course, but there's like a play. There's like the ones that really win and the ones that have like this energy that you just watch and you're like in amazement. There's no thinking. There is alignment. There is a flow that is happening. There is God flowing through them and them trusting their body. So it's really about learning to go from that contraction to flow and love, which is who you really are. So let's look at now. So if, if resistance— so what happens is as contraction comes up in your body and as contraction may have come up in your past, What happens is it comes up in the body and what happens is if we're not comfortable with feeling it, what will we then do? We will then go into protection. Now protection are mechanisms that are created. We also call these patterns. I call these protective patterns, patterns that try to protect us from feeling, and what happens is this becomes the activated nervous system. Like this one idea here, if you absorb this, this will change the way you relate to your nervous system. This will change the way you relate to your patterns. And basically this is what it is. We have protective patterns that come up that are serving a good purpose. We can demonize these patterns. No, no, fight, flight, fawn, or freeze. You're naughty, naughty. But guess what? Those naughty, naughty mechanisms are strategies that are trying to protect you from feeling. So they think they're doing something good. But remember, if we get this neutral perspective and we say, oh, you're just doing your job, you're just trying to manage the nervous system, kind of see a little bit differently, huh? So the thing that's really blocking you from skyrocketing your vibration to the next level is becoming aware of the pattern, becoming aware of what's underneath the pattern, and then actually allowing yourself to somatically feel and heal it. This is key. Okay, let's look at a few patterns. Would you like to do that? Let's do that. So first off, here's the different, the 4 different nervous system strategies. You've probably heard of them. Fight, flight, fawn, freeze. Okay, so there's fight, there's flight. You just want to go fly, but you're not really flying. You're just like, you're running, right? You've got freeze, and then you've got fawn, which is where you like lay over and you like surrender to someone else that you're like kind of like a like subconsciously afraid of. Somebody with a strong dominant personality maybe. So here's the different nervous system strategies. Now let's look at some of these patterns. So within fawn, you may have the pattern of people pleasing, overgiving, walking on eggshells. This may have mean as a kid you had somebody that was domineering or powerful energy you were afraid of. And who did you have to be to be loved? You had to be this way. You didn't wanna feel the contraction, the shame, the disappointment, or the guilt. So instead, here's a strategy that will get me to manage that. That then becomes something that creates a lot of pressure. Fight. Let's just go through some of these quickly. Fight. Control. This is like control. This is walled off. Sometimes if you've had to, you might fight, you might wall yourself off, you might create a thick barrier between you and other people. You might become rigid. Parts of this can be hyper-independence. There's kind of an overlap between some fight and flight I find, 'cause flight can also be avoidance, a workaholic, I need to achieve. And then in freeze, there's procrastination, analysis paralysis. Maybe you gotta watch more YouTube videos, learn more ideas before you finally go take action. These are all different patterns that will keep you in protection, but keep you from flow. But maybe it feels It feels better to be a people pleaser in the moment because if you can manage other people's emotions, you won't feel their icky, icky tension. You don't wanna feel that. But when you begin to absorb what I'm sharing with you in this video, it will completely transform your life, literally skyrocket your energy. So here we go. Fight, flight, fawn, freeze. I almost feel like they're like Power Rangers or something. Like what is it? Red Power Rangers, like, right? It's like fight, flight. I guess they're running. Some are kind of similar. You get the idea, right? And then beyond these patterns, understanding your patterns is cool, but realizing what your patterns are protecting you from is cooler. You wanna know why it's cooler? Because then you actually have a somatic way of transforming, of embracing what you've been avoiding. So for me, back in the day, something that really held me back from actually just getting on YouTube, 'cause that was something else that shifted my life. You wanna know what it was that really changed a lot? Was I had all these blocks come up. I didn't feel worthy. I didn't feel enough to make videos. It was kind of like a, definitely like a fawn type energy in certain relationships. Definitely like a freeze dynamic before I got on YouTube finally. And what I eventually had to do is I became aware of the pattern and I actually embraced the emotion that was underneath it. So people pleasing, for example, the way I transformed that pattern was I had to realize that there was an inner child part of me that felt not seen and heard as a kid, that felt like they were worried mom or dad was gonna get mad, that was there that I wasn't paying attention to, that I wasn't giving, I wasn't becoming aware of that part of myself. Which is living in the past. So eventually what I did is I realized that that part of myself was craving approval and validation. When I began to approve of and validate that part of myself, I began to feel differently. And then I began to embrace actually a value of instead of approval and validation, I started to value authenticity and approval, which meant sometimes saying things or expressing myself where some people didn't resonate with it, or maybe had tension. I remember setting boundaries with people or saying no to things that normally I would've said yes to and people would get activated. Instead of taking on their emotion or energy, guess what I did instead? I threw something at them. I wanted to learn how to be in fight or flight because that was underdeveloped. So I started just, I started fighting. I got into Muay Thai. I'm just kidding. I'm kidding about all the fighting stuff. I was like, how far can I take this thing? But basically what I did is I learned how to let them sit with the emotion. I let them sit with it. And what you'll find is that when you become aware of what you've been avoiding and what your lesson is, in a way, lesson is like, what can you integrate about yourself? Because also the people pleaser had me avoiding almost the bad part of me, and it felt bad to be selfish. And by selfish, I mean just setting boundaries, feeling safe inside my body. Like it felt selfish to have my own needs, but that was just programming as a kid. It was a protective mechanism. So part of this too is some of these, you might have a mix over, right? Like if you have fawn and flight, right? You might be a people pleaser or an over-giver who also is a workaholic. So you may give, give, give, give, and then in your business be like always working, always trying to like get somewhere else, trying to get safety for yourself. But really what this is is this is a nervous system strategy. So a huge part of this is realizing that this pattern is not who you are. This is a nervous system response that is blocking you from actually feeling the contraction under the surface, allowing you then to get to a place of neutrality, which is the, One of the first huge shifts when you get to neutrality, you can observe what's happening, you can allow yourself to feel it, but you can observe it and then you start to see it. I remember when I would go do something, if that people pleaser pattern would come up, I would observe it instead of react. And I'd be like, wow, that pattern right there, that's my old self. Like that's the inner child me that's trying to manage the nervous system. And then in that space, you remember the space is where the power is. That's where there's so much power, brother, brother. Okay. So, or sister. I think most people that watch me is more women than men. So sister. Anyways. So if we look at, there's beliefs that come with some of these, I mean there's beliefs that come with some of these and they're kind of rooted in these core beliefs. So what is the belief if you're fawning or people pleasing, walking on eggshells that you must keep people happy and avoid tension? That may have been the role you took on. Like the reason, like remember, you are love, joy, and peace. Are you the role? No, silly. You're not this role. It's not who you are. Who are you really? You're the soul. Type in down, I'm the soul, not the role. Okay, brother. Just kidding. I'm on eggshells. Don't be mad at me. Okay? The role is not who you are. The role is the attachment that's keeping you in these. Do you see? This is the role that's keeping you in resistance. Who did you have to be growing up to be loved? You came on here just to get some, I want to skyrocket my vibration, but we're going deep here. We're not staying surface level. I mean, I just think better thoughts, watch a YouTube video, some meditation. Extend into fricking 5D consciousness. No, we're going deep. Okay, so part of going deep means being honest with ourselves. The role of the— one of the most powerful things to become aware of is this triangle here. Okay, this will change your life right here, understanding this. You've got MCF. You know what that means? Mother. It means mother, Father, child, mother, father, child. This dynamic right here of who you believed you needed to be for mom and dad to be loved. You go to a Tony Robbins event, you want to know what people will ask you? They'll say, whose love did you crave more when you were a kid? And then you go, I don't know, Tony, probably my mom or my dad. I don't know whose love did you crave more. And they'll say, oh, my mom or my dad. Who did you have to be to be loved? And you might, I had to be strong, I had to be perfect, I had to be this, I had to that, I had to be naive, I had to be people pleasing, I had to be wild-eyed, don't hit me. Just kidding. He's got power, he's got strong energy. So you know, you think about that. It's like, who did you have to be? That is the role that might be keeping you in low vibe. Okay. And when we say low vibe, we mean not becoming comfortable with what you feel underneath the surface. So you're in a protective mechanism. Do you want to be in a protective mechanism? You don't want to stay in a protective mechanism. Remember, you're not the role, you're the, you're the soul. Okay? You're an infinite spiritual being. That's love, joy, peace, enlightenment. That's who you naturally are. You buoyant. Okay? Buoyant. You want to know what buoyant like? You floating on top of the ocean and resistance is what keeps you under. Okay? So let's realize first off. That the role is not who you are and the role is one thing that will keep you trapped. For a long time, my role of working a 9 to 5 job selling women's shoes was what was familiar. Didn't like it. I didn't enjoy it at all. I went into work every day and look at this, I would think thoughts equal to being a 9 to 5 job goer. I would feel emotions equal to a 9 to 5 job goer and I'd take actions similar to it even though I didn't like it. I was in alignment. People say, I'm out of alignment. No, you're not. You're in alignment with who you've been being. You're in alignment with a certain version of you. So becoming aware of this then makes you realize, okay, if I'm out of alignment, how do I prefer to think, feel, and act? And when I say think, I mean, I think, I think. Thinking less thoughts is the key here. Creating more space, more awareness. Okay, so this is one of the first steps of this process, right? Remember, resistance is not who you are. Resistance is the key of what you're becoming more familiar and comfortable with, not just trying to get rid of. You might say, I'm gonna try to get rid of this so I can become enlightened. No, no, no, no. You're then using the technique as a manipulative factor, just like some of these are manipulative ways of controlling reality. And when you become aware of that, you're like, oh, I can observe the control part of me, the of workaholic part of me, the, you know, whatever parts of these that you are, and you can begin to actually accept that part of you. So often in healing work, like if you get one thing out of this video that I think will shift your life more than anything else, it's when you're doing this inner child healing or this healing work, you acknowledge these parts of you and you accept these parts of you instead of shaming them and trying to change them. So we'll talk about that in a minute, okay? But realize first off that your energy is a combination of how you think, feel, and act. It's about thinking less, feeling more, and feeling more is about becoming aware of this contraction to open opportunity and feeling underneath the pattern. What have you been avoiding? Like flight, workaholic. What are you avoiding with boredom? What are you avoiding underneath the surface? And moving up first off is about becoming neutral. Okay? Neutral. Observing your thoughts. Realizing they're not good or bad. Tension is not good or bad. The emotions that you've been avoiding are not good or bad. They just exist. And the funny thing is that when you let them be there, it can completely transform your life in a powerful way. So also these different emotions, like if you fight, you believe that you can't trust and that to feel safe, you must do something. Vulnerability is also a no-no. Doesn't feel very good. If you're a flight avoidance workaholic, you might slow down, like slowing down is bad. You can't handle what's happening. You need to be achievement to be safe. And then freeze may be, it doesn't matter why, do it anyways, or I'm gonna mess it up, et cetera. That keeps you like in analysis paralysis. So let's now go to one of the next layers of this video that I also believe will shift your life. And there's 2, 3 things I'm gonna share in here that I've learned from people that have very high vibration that I've wanted to become more like, and that when I applied really allowed my energy to completely shift. When my life really shifted as well is when you become aware of the energy of forgiveness and letting go. Now, first off, you've heard this before probably, oh, you gotta forgive. Now understand that when you have resistance inside your energy field, when you are angry towards someone else, that energy stays in your field and you attract people into your life that reflect that energy back that's not processed. So even after my spiritual awakening in 2012, I had controlling bosses, stuff like that, that were reflective of my ex-stepmom growing up. There was unprocessed anger towards that stepmom and an unconscious belief that I had to fight for freedom and that I was on eggshells. That also felt familiar. So I attracted people in my life to reenact that drama because that allowed me to feel the unprocessed energy underneath. So me having the resentment towards my ex-stepmom and the anger wasn't, it was like once I, I remember trying to get, we tried to get that manager fired. She got away with crazy stuff. Within 2 weeks of learning what I'm about to share with you, completely shifted. That manager got fired for something dumb. She was there for 20 years, got fired within 2 weeks of me learning this. Am I saying that I caused her to get fired? My energy? Yeah, I am actually. I kind of am, but also like maybe it had nothing— like, is it a coincidence? Is reality a reflection of the inner work we do? Is it a coincidence maybe that we tried for years, couldn't, and then I forgave her? And like, I know it sounds like grandiose to even say something like that, but like, is reality as fixed as we think? Are people literally just in our lives until we learn certain lessons and then they pop out once we step into our power, once we also forgive. So forgiveness is this, this one idea around forgiveness, by the way, I think will be the shift because people say they forgive and you want to know one of the biggest cop-outs for saying I've forgiven. Okay, I forgave my mom and dad. They were doing the best they could with where they were. So partially, That could be kind of true. You could be like, I intellectually understand why they did what they did and they were doing the best they could from their pea-brain-sized limited awareness, which is what some people say. And they go, I've forgiven. I forgave my parents and my life changed. You want to know what'll really allow you to actually forgive? It's not it being an intellectual concept. It's when you learn what the Native Americans have said around forgiveness. That is that you must walk in their moccasins. Now you might be like, my mom and dad did not have moccasins. And you might be like, I'm not gonna fit into their shoes anyways. But it's a metaphor, okay? It's a metaphor. The walk in moccasins thing, you're probably getting tired of my sarcasm. The walk in moccasins thing is actually what I did, not even knowing it really, but that's what really allowed me to heal. And what I realized was that my ex-stepmom who was controlling and manipulative, blah, blah, blah, it was, I didn't have freedom until I was 17 and my dad divorced my ex-stepmom. And the kind of energy was having to almost like sneak food to get enough food to eat. She was able to kind of control my, my dad was a firefighter, not home very often. So she kind of ran the ship. And it was like, it was an energy of not allowed to have freedom or control at all. There was anger towards that. Eventually I walked in her moccasins years after. I haven't seen her in a long time. Don't have to. However, walking in her moccasins, I realized that the couple stories she told me about her childhood, I put myself literally in her shoes. I imagined how she was when she was a kid. When she told me her dad was an alcoholic, her dad was controlling, and she literally, I could see then out of the, she told me a couple stories that were kind of like very traumatic. And that had to do with altercations between her dad and her mom, who she feared her dad. So she became that. She became parts of that energy and she became controlling. She became, if you look down here, her, her pattern was definitely more of fight. She had to fight because there was so much pain in childhood that she became this walled-off, hyper-independent control person, very rigid. Now of course, that fight a lot of times can create fawns, can create people that don't want to fight against that. And what'll happen is they then surrender to the identity or the mechanism that works if this one doesn't work, right? So, but what I literally got into her moccasins and I felt, I was like, wow, what would she have to feel to become someone that was so cruel to kids? Like what would you have to experience? And I put myself in different situations she was in and I literally visualized what that would be like. The one or two experiences that she had with her dad where she got yanked in a certain way and treated a certain way, I'm like, Wow. Not, is it interesting that she treated my brother and I in a similar way? Now again, this doesn't make it conceptually right. Doesn't mean you're condoning it. It just means you're able to actually feel more of an understanding that yes, people are doing the best they can with where they're at. So when I say like surface level forgiveness is like intellectually, like I've forgiven, they're doing the best they can with where they're at. I get it. I get it. But there's an avoidance of actually feeling. The grief under the surface, the sadness under the surface. I had to feel the loss of my childhood, not really having much freedom. And I was like 17 when I first had freedom and friends. I had to grieve that. But also I could, I began to understand that walking in her moccasins was like, I understood her a lot more. I'm like, literally she really was doing the best she could with where she was at. But I actually felt, I could feel the pain and like sadness some of why she would make that energy under the surface, and it allowed the forgiveness to be a lot easier. Let's also take the idea of Eckhart Tolle, for example. Eckhart Tolle says that with forgiveness, the truth, deepest level of forgiveness, there's nothing to forgive. And you say, what? What do you mean? There's people that do horrible things to other people. What's actually doing the horrible things is not the person, it's the pattern and the unconsciousness inside the person. So when Eckhart Tolle says something like that, it's the unconsciousness, I can then see that it was— would a consciously healthy human being treat kids a certain way, like abuse kids or treat them a certain way? You could see like, oh no, that's, that's like literally unconsciousness. That was probably also in her dad and her dad's dad. Like, Being able to walk in her moccasins meant really being able to feel that energy and connect to it. And that's why something that we do in my live events and my programs is we really connect to this energy of mother, father, child. We really connect to this energy of feeling healing and focusing on the connection between like connecting to the inner child energy and forgiveness of mom and dad by understanding them and feeling present with them. Like, imagine your mom or dad as an 8-year-old lost in a store. Imagine they're walking around the loss. You go up to this little, little girl, boy, and you're like, are you lost? Like, are you okay? My mom— imagine this person said, my mom and dad left me and told me to figure it out. If that happened, what would you feel inside of your body about that, knowing that that's the younger version of your parents. Now maybe you'd put that to the side. It's a little kid, right? You'd have a little bit more compassion and understanding. And what that helps us do though is that helps us connect to the innocent parts of ourself and realizing that that's who we really are is that innocence. The patterns are unconsciousness that have been playing themselves out for millennia, just flowing through, flowing through generations to generation. My dad had, my dad is a self-proclaimed kind of people pleaser. He says, it's who I am. His dad was the same way. Then it came to me and I broke that pattern. I allowed myself to feel it, heal it, process it, redefine myself and live toward into authenticity and vulnerability, which means that when I have kids one day, they will also see that model pattern broken. So a big part of skyrocketing your energy is learning how to forgive. And to learn how to forgive, what I recommend you do is you literally walk in the moccasins of your parents. And you realize that what's coming up, if you really feel it, heal it, and connect to the inner teenager part of your parents, that maybe that helps you forgive more. It helps you feel more, which is really what we're doing. When I forgave my ex-stepmom, that manager left my life that was literally a replica of my stepmom. It was very interesting how quick that can happen. So forgiveness is key. Now remember who you really are is love, joy, peace, and enlightenment. As you feel and heal this emotion underneath, you naturally become and raise back up. Feeling forgiveness and letting go is a part of lessening this energy by integrating and feeling inside of your body. Okay, so the next part of this process, let's talk a little bit about heart coherence and the identity you have. Now, if I was to also share something with you that I think could completely shift the way in which you show up, the way in which you understand your energy, the way in which you basically go from contraction to open. There's M and A here. M stands for meditation. A stands for Aaron. It stands— you let Aaron become your guiding spirit guide. I'm just kidding. A stands for action. Okay, action. So meditation and action, new behavior, new action, what I call micro shifts. Are the key little micro shifts you make every day that begin to change your identity. That's the power. Meditation is how you observe your thoughts so they don't have so much power. And meditation is also how you can observe the emotions you want to feel inside of your body. And part of this has to do with what your role is, which we already talked about, but the be, do, have formula. Be, do, have. Be, I, in 2018, '17, started to be a YouTuber, started to be it. Now here's something that happens very often. People will say, I start being this new version of me, it feels fake. This isn't the real me. The real me is the 9 to 5 job goer who doesn't like their job. That's the real me. One of the things I realized when I was becoming a YouTuber is I started literally to be a YouTuber. I made a choice that this is who I am now. I committed to videos every single day on YouTube. And within a short period of time, my whole entire life transformed. And it was that one decision. Now what happens is people could say, oh, faking it till you make it, or whatever. But realize that you becoming a new you, you simply haven't put in reps yet. That's it. It's unfamiliar. So be honest with yourself, because I could say I'm not a YouTuber, I'm a 9-to-5 job goer. What I recognize is that actually the 9-to-5 job goer version of me was actually more fake than the YouTuber version of me. Even though the YouTuber version of me was less familiar and the 9-to-5 job guy was more familiar. The more I would step into my power, there was a pressure there, but pressure is what causes growth. The pressure is not stress. It was like an energy where I was able to flow and expand. So one thing that I recommend you look at is who are you being? And when you're being it, you wanna be it not 'cause you wanna get somewhere else. You wanna be it because it feels good to be it. So me making videos on YouTube was more who I choose to be. Does that make sense? Who I, it was like an energy every single day that began to change my life over time. And one thing that I could see too, it was also more connected to my own heart. It was like the energy. At one point I was working 30 hours a week at a job I didn't like, thinking, feeling, acting equal to that 9 to 5 job. But then when I was off, I'd get into this energy of making videos. I would judge my videos. That's not good enough. I literally for a while thought that for me to have videos that got views, I had to learn how to edit in some crazy way because talking head videos people wouldn't want. I had all these blocks come up. But what I realized is this version of me versus this version of me, they were different. But also this one, even though I was only in it for like 5 or 10 minutes a day, or no, not 5 or 10, I was in it for 20 or 30 minutes a day when I was making a video, 'cause I committed to daily videos while I had a 9 to 5 job. This reality became my dominant reality because that energy was so much more potent and powerful. Within 3 to 6 months, I was able to put in my 2 weeks and quit that 9 to 5 job. But I had to be this 'cause it felt good, not just because it would get me out of this. Does that make sense? So I had to start priming it and being it now. And a lot of times for people to skyrocket their energy, the thing that blocks them is they're from a contracted state trying to open, which of course is gonna be hard because it's like you're trying to get somewhere instead of allowing the emotion to come up. Which is a lot of what I teach, by the way. It's this contraction into flow, which means neutrality, observing what you feel, and then opening yourself, letting it go, and allowing yourself to feel it allows that energy to move. I'll talk more about that in a minute. But the key to this is choosing to open, choosing to be in a flow, choosing to allow God to flow through. We can call it the divine, we can call it God, but literally it's like the more I would show up to create YouTube videos and to live my purpose and my passion, it's like the more I would show up and get into that energy, the more it would flow through, the more I would get ideas of what to make the next video about. Like the more I got into the energy, the more that like, it was like, it just happened through me, which are these three different layers here. There's to me, which is like the bottom levels of consciousness. That's for me, which is like kind of like the materialistic get level of consciousness. Like I wanna get things. But it's happening for me to grow different lessons. And then through me or as me is the energy where then it's like the ego contraction mechanism doesn't have to be there with protection because you're allowing something greater. You're trusting. So when I get on stage, like tomorrow I'm running a live event for 2 days, no planned content whatsoever. Am I bragging? No, because it's not me doing it. It's something greater flowing through me. And just like with this video, my key with these videos are get into the state and just allow what wants to come through to come through. And my intention is to have fun with the process, which is also the one after that. So I'm kind of clumping some of these together, but first off, the electromagnetic energy of your heart is thousands of times more powerful than your head. Okay? Thousands of times more powerful than your head. So what happens is when you're in passion, when you're in your heart, when you're feeling, Your energy literally is thousands of times more powerful electromagnetically than your head. Most people are in their head though because they're in the protective mechanism. So the key to this is getting into your heart. The key to this is learning who you are being, becoming aware of your identity, how you define yourself, but then choosing to become, to align with something greater than you. And anytime I allow myself to focus instead of the content of what I'm going to get, how this video is going to get views. I focus on the energy that wants to flow through. It's a much more expansive energy, and you have the ability to tap into this too. I would say that when you are doing something you're passionate about, like painting or drawing or whatever, you're not thinking. You're in a flow state. God is literally flowing through you. You are connecting to divine. And the more you can let that be the pure connection of realizing you're a vessel is the more empty you're becoming. So we get back to, we get back to what we talked about with enlightenment. It's not about becoming more, it's about becoming less. And you become less the degree to which you become a vessel. And you become a vessel when you follow the energy of your excitement, when you let it flow through. So this is really that awareness of like the identity, the nervous system, the nervous system activation, your what we could call set point. But you will completely shift your set point the more you begin, the more you begin bringing more of the divine in and you begin stepping out of your comfort zone of what's familiar. And you start doing these micro shifts, these little identities, these little actions you take that shift your identity over time. And that's why a lot of times I really preach and talk about mastering your 24 hours in a day because what you do in a day that becomes a habit compounds over time. And when you shift a little bit how you're showing up, you shift a little bit, like meditating for 10 minutes a day will change your life. It's one thing. Observing your thoughts for 10 minutes a day will change your life. From there, focusing on something you're passionate about every day, will change your life even just a little bit. If you talk about the book Atomic Habits, right? One of the most popular self-development books of the last 5 or 10 years. Little actions change your identity. Not that to be some grand master thing where you start to see yourself as enlightenment or anything. No, it's instead begin to take little action. So for me, it's like I make a video or create something every day. I love it. I run events every now and then, every month, couple months. I love it. I do these things that like I get to look forward to and then I get to do them and allow, become a vessel for it to flow through. So these are things that little, little actions you do can begin to change your identity over time. And then over here you'll see flow and play. Very often people, you kind of see this in certain spiritual circles where people want to become enlightened so bad. They want it so bad. They don't want to be where they are so bad. They want to be there that they create a lot of resistance. And what I'm saying is that instead of wanting that really bad and trying to do it, if you were to play and have more fun with the process, that might be the missing key for you. You know, Osho, for example, who had his own controversy and everything, so I'm not going to get into that, but in general, when he had his first enlightenment experience, what happens is he said for years he was going to bed at 3, or he'd get up every morning at 3 in the morning, go for a long walk. He would like, he was super sober, wouldn't do anything. And there was this rigidity and he wanted to be enlightened. He had a special energy to him that people could feel, but like he hadn't gotten it yet. You want to know when it happened for him? What he did is he said, screw it, I'm done with this rigidity. Uh, he had friends that came over with like that wanted to drink. He's like, sure, I'll do this. Like he just completely let go of like his old rigid self and then Once he let that go, the next day he went and meditated by a tree and like it happened. It happened when he let go. It happened when he stopped seeking. And when you see in the Olympics, the figure skaters and all these people doing incredible things, when you see sports and you see people in the magic moment when they like make the game-winning shot, they're not thinking, they're being. Something else is flowing through them, they're present. And really that's what will skyrocket your vibration more than anything else. It's when you learn how to bring that presence more inside of your body, how you accept what is, how you allow it to be there instead of trying to control. And what you'll find is that as you connect to that energy, you will find that like so much more in your life shifts because something inside of you is deeper. Something inside of you has shifted. So that's what I want to, to say is you remember, you're not the role, you're the soul. And if you want to learn, by the way, how to go through this signature process that I have going from contraction to flow in love, I'll show you how to feel, heal, let go of this emotion inside of your body. I'll show you how to find what's called your core pattern. We all have a core pattern. Once you become aware of your core resistance pattern, you'll then get a shift plan. That shows you how to begin shifting it. Every month we have a pattern of the month that we go through where we then will shift that pattern. So the one as I film this is people pleasing, where you literally get points for different actions you take throughout the month for you to like kind of gamify the system of you like embracing a new you and allowing yourself to move from contraction to open and flow. So that's something you can join by checking out the Shift Academy below. If you do want a video, by the way, that will help you to consistently raise your vibration, there's a very simple video on raising your dominant vibration permanently.
