Genuine kindness attracts people, but niceness is often hidden manipulation seeking something back. Real generosity comes from abundance with no attachment to how the other person responds. If you feel hurt when someone doesn't reciprocate, you were giving to meet your own need, not theirs.

A kind person is an attractive person. A nice person is, I give with the expectation of receiving. So it's, I will subconsciously manipulate you by being nice to you. And if you see that I'm being nice to you, you're going to be nice to me. And I want you to be nice to me because you being nice to me makes me feel good about myself. You can choose to be nice or you can choose to be kind. Giving isn't a bad thing if you're giving from a place of abundance and you're not attached at all to who receives it versus giving because I want to get. And a lot of people give to then get. And if they don't get what they want— and that's how you'll know whether you're attached, by the way. If you were to give something away and you weren't to get the response you wanted, does that bring up something in you? Because if it does, there's an attachment.
