letting go will feel EASY AF after this video (never go back)

Aaron Doughty explains attachment as the ego's resistance and control, arguing that freedom comes from releasing it and letting universal energy flow. He connects attachment to childhood wounds and relational patterns, and shows how rewiring your nervous system away from clenching makes letting go easier.

Attachment is the root of all suffering, and freedom is when you let go. And freedom can be so much easier when you let it be easy. And we're going to talk about in this video how to let it be easy, how to learn what we can learn from people who we can consider to be enlightened, who talk about letting go and bringing this awareness into our lives and how that can dramatically change how you show up. That can change the way you relate to people and also the way that you relate to outcomes in your life as well. Now, first off, let's look at attachment as an energy and let's relate this to what we could talk about, like what enlightened people would say, how we could relate to it in this higher conscious way. Now, first off, When we think of attachment, think of the energy of attachment as an energy of resistance, of an energy of insistence as well, and an energy of control. And it's a control that comes from the identification with the ego. Now here's the thing about the ego. The ego just wants to survive. The ego does not wanna thrive. The ego wants to just survive, and the ego many times is also in scarcity. So when we talk about, when enlightened people talk about letting go and how it can be easy, it's about understanding your identification with the survival part of you that is trying to stay in familiar patterns, that is also in scarcity. And in that scarcity, it wants to control to recreate familiar dynamics over and over again. And once you become aware of this, you can then see that part of the challenge is that the ego is what's running the show. Even think about it when it comes to attachment in general. The ego wants something from the attachments. It's like, if I can control this relationship, I can feel connected. If I can control my business, then I can feel safe. These are ego desires. Now, one of the shifts comes when you realize that when it comes to attachment, what you are really letting go of is the attachment to the ego and its desire to control, which exists in scarcity. And it has to do with trusting more divine energy to flow through and allowing energy allowing flow. And when we say attachment is the root of all suffering, or that's what Buddha says, but we hear it and we're like, oh yeah, attachment is the root of all suffering. Attachment creates resistance. It's also attachment to materialism and attachment to believing that that materialism is going to fulfill us on the inside creates resistance. And that's where the control comes in. So letting go is a side effect and one of the mechanisms our ego uses to control. Do you see? So that's what the letting go, like letting go is the mechanism to which we can learn to allow God or the divine or whatever name you wanna give it to flow through. There's a huge shift here in this awareness that I'm sharing right now. And that's what, that's exactly why I'm holding this book. It's one of my, it's the top book I recommend. It's one of my favorite books. But Paramahansa Yogananda talks about this too. It's a lot of it's about renouncing and letting go, like becoming aware of the ego desires and giving it up to the divine. Having a higher flow of energy that flows through. Now, when you see people that are the most magnetic people you know, they are not in their minds trying to control reality. They are present to the moment and they are being. They're allowing energy to flow through. Now, I know this as well. I experience this when I run live events. When I run live events, I may do a 2-day live event, 7 hours a day. It's just me speaking and it's no planned content whatsoever. I just show up and I'm coaching people, bringing them on stage, you know, stuff like that. Now my ego will always try to somewhat prepare for it, even though I know that when I get there, it's gonna take on a life of its own. It's like the ego mechanism wants to control. It wants to have certainty in like, well, what am I gonna talk about? What if I forget or I'm in the moment and I don't know exactly what I wanna do with the group or whatever? So I'll have like a little list, but I know that that's just my ego's attachment to wanting to get it right. But then what happens is what I do is every single time I run a live event, there's something that switches within the first 20 minutes of the event being on stage and sharing a story and getting into flow is it has very, very, very little to do with me. It's an energy that flows through where I can then allow that divine energy to flow through to do whatever it wants to do. And I trust that energy. Do you see the difference there? That one is I try to control and one is I allow it to flow through. Now also, one of the first times I did this kind of style of live event, it was actually here in LA. And one of the things I learned is I was also having the intention of running these live events to get content. So there was this control aspect of I wanna get great content at these live events. But what I realized is when there's that intention of also getting content, it creates control and resistance. The next event I did was in Miami, and the intention was to just help people transform, to just allow whatever energy flows through to help people transform and have the focus be on helping transform people rather than getting content. And you wanna know what happened? There was way more flow, there was way more alignment, The magic was in the unknown and I didn't have to control anything. I just showed up and honestly, I showed up and I had fun. And ironically enough, the more fun that I had and the more I was in the present moment also with the intention of adding value to the people that were there, the more magical moments came. Some of which are that one, I have a YouTube video that's from that live event that has almost a million views on YouTube. That I could have never planned or known. It just happened in the moment. It happened from that pure intention. So when we're talking about letting go, realize that letting go is about realizing that the attachment itself comes from the ego's desire to stay in familiar, the ego's desire that fears the unknown. And when you realize that, and you realize also that that attachment, being attached, never actually gets you what you think it's gonna bring you. Like if you were to worry about someone or something, does it ever really help? Think about that. You worry about something someone's doing, you worry if someone's gonna text you back, you worry. Does the worrying actually help? Could it be that the subconscious, part of the, maybe part of the consciousness thinks, the subconscious thinks if I worry, then I can control. But really what you end up doing when you worry is you end up actually adding in resistance, which blocks that very thing from coming into your life. And when you make these inner shifts, that's when the energy really begins to change. So letting go is magnetic because you're not in resistance and trying to get anything out of reality and also believing that whatever that thing is, even if you got it, there's a projection of energy that goes onto it that says that if I get this thing, then I can feel different on the inside. And what the enlightened people talk about, including Autobiography of a Yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda, is that none of those things are actually gonna bring you happiness. They're gonna bring you a dopamine high. They'll bring you a temporary dopamine high and you'll feel, this feels really good. But what happens is that dopamine high will feel really good, but then you'll crash. It's a surface level energy that you feel really high and then you feel really low and you're just constantly at the whims of what the external is doing. Now, the idea behind this is let go of control and attachment and surrender to the divine or God and allow that energy to flow through you. And what happens is when you become a vessel for an energy greater than you, by getting into a flow state, what you will find is that you can trust that energy. You can allow, you don't have to control, you just trust that energy. And that's where magnetic energy comes from. Magnetic energy is a byproduct of alignment with an energy greater than you. It's alignment with an energy that comes through as you are in flow and as you are making yourself at the service of others. So also, if you have questions about letting go or just in general, go ahead and put them in the Q&A thing here. I'm gonna answer them in a little bit. I'm just kind of like, I wanna recap the different facets of letting go to know how you can let letting go be easy. Now, first off as well, let's think of like, you know when people say that letting go is hard? Let's imagine this Palo Santo stick right here. Now, this is an exercise that is sometimes done to illustrate the point of why letting go is easy, but this is how letting go is hard. So imagine, ask me right now, how do I let go? How do I let go of this Palo Santo? Is it hard to let go? Now, the thing is, of course, if I let go, oh my gosh, it's so easy to let go. And you look at that and you're like, oh yeah, I guess, yeah, I guess in that case, letting go is easy. Now, if I were to take this Palo Santo and I were to hold it very, very tightly for 2 or 3 minutes, and I was to squeeze really, really, really hard and until I was tired, until my hand, my clenched fists, it was like sweating 'cause I was holding it so hard. What'll happen is then right afterwards, you could say, "Hey Aaron, okay, let go." And it would be harder to let go than me just going like this. Even just now as I did that, it was hard 'cause I was clenching for a moment. It was like it took a moment for my reflexes to like let go. But imagine holding, holding, holding, holding, holding on, holding on, holding on, holding on, creating resistance. What'll happen is then you go to let go and it takes a moment for your hand to like unclench to let go because your hand's kind of locked in that position. So this is a symbol for understanding that yes, letting go is easy, but what happens is the conditioned response in your nervous system is to hold on. And if this gesture brought me a lot of safety, and if holding onto this Palo Santo, there was a story to it too. Imagine there was a story to this. Someone gave me this Palo Santo. I was in the Himalayan mountains and someone gave me this Palo Santo and said, don't ever lose it. It is the key to everlasting happiness. And as long as you have it, you can be confident. You will be enough. And then I bring this Palo Santo stick. I don't burn it. I just bring it everywhere I go and I'm like, I'm so confident because I have this thing this Himalayan guy gave me. There's a story to it. And guess what? If I had a friend come to my house and burn that Palo Santo stick, I'd be like, oh no, it's the thing that if it ever went away, I wouldn't have my confidence because someone of authority told me that. So the story Exactly. It's the meaning that's been attributed to this. It's a meaning. Now here's the scary thing about reality. When we talk about what enlightened people say about, you know, about letting go, how it can be easy. Here's the scariest truth about reality. Nothing has any built-in meaning other than the meaning you give it. Nothing has any built-in meaning. This Palo Santo stick, I can give it a story that a Himalayan master gave it to me and it was so magical and he told me if I kept it with me forever, I'd be enlightened and I would never have to reincarnate again or something, who knows, right? It's a story, it's a story. I could choose to believe the story, but then it's this thing has all the power. Oh my gosh, the power that is in this Palo Santo is so incredible. And it sounds ridiculous, but like that's what, this is what people do with attachment. They're like, this one person, this one thing is the thing to my everlasting happiness. Then you immediately create scarcity. And then you stay attached and you say, let go. You're like, how can I let go? This is what I identify with, this Palo Santo stick or this person. This person I believe is the other half of me or it's familiar to childhood patterns and it feels so deep. How can I let go? The meaning is what is hard to let go of because the meaning allows you to stay in familiar patterns to childhood, your primordial home of what pattern felt familiar as a kid. You get to stay in that energy. And remember, the ego does not want to thrive. The ego wants to survive and stay in what it knows. Because the unknown is scary to the ego, even though the unknown is where all magic happens and the unknown is where God or the divine is. So recapping what we've talked about so far, letting go is magnetic because letting go is allowing energy to flow through. It's allowing the divine and God to flow through. Attachment is the ego's desire to control. It is rooted in scarcity and it is rooted in familiar dynamics to the past. And it will do anything it can to stay consistent to the way it defines itself. So what we talk about when we're talking about enlightened people and what they say about letting go and how it can be easy is letting go really is a choice. Just like I can choose to let go of this Palo Santo, it naturally drops down and it's easy, right? Now what happens is what is actually hard is if I were to hold this for 2 or 3 minutes really, really, really hard and clench it. And you say, Aaron, let go right now. It's like a competition. Like how quick can you let go? Like Aaron, let go now. And I'm like, it's kind of hard because my hands are so clenched and it's like, it takes a moment for me to relax my hands. It's almost like, If you like sit on your arm or you lay a certain way and then like one of your body parts are numb, it's like, let go. You're like, well, I have to wait for the sensation to come back. I have to wait for the sensation to come back inside my hand first. I can't, I can't let go. And then someone's like, you can't let go. And you're like, no, of course you can. But do you see it's about repatterning the nervous system and having the trust of letting God or the divine flow through. And when enlightened people talk about it, what it's really about, it's letting go of the ego desires and putting your attention on the divine. And when you're in a flow state, guaranteed, I guarantee you, when you're in a flow state and you're doing what you love, you are more magnetic. I guarantee that when you step out of the ego, which wants to survive, the ego, which wants to control, It's rooted in scarcity and it creates resistance and it thinks it knows best. And what happens is when you become aware of that and you choose to have the courage to step into the unknown, that's where magic begins to happen. So I'm gonna answer questions here in a moment. And this is also announcement. If you haven't joined already, we are starting very soon the 21-Day Confidence Love Challenge. Tomorrow is the last day to join to get, to join. We start next Wednesday. And basically it's a 21 days for a more confident you. You're gonna learn how to let go. You're gonna learn how to let go of codependent patterns, how to let go and become aware of the anxious or the avoidant part of your attachment style and how to become more secure, how to become more magnetic within your own frame, how to set boundaries without feeling guilty, and how to feel confident in allowing this divine energy to flow through. So if you do want to join, what you can do is comment, comment CLC, which stands for Confidence Love Challenge, and I will send you, it automatically gets done. Send you the invite. So yeah, it's CLC. Yeah, it starts. So tomorrow's the last day to like grab your spot. There's also some meditations that you will get as well when you join. Let me put that right there. And then I'm gonna answer questions and comment. So you comment CLC, and it's for people that are either in a relationship and wanna go deeper within the relationship or single and wanna attract love. So the purpose of it is to help you open up your heart to more love and more alignment. And there's actually meditations in there that are inspired by some of these meditations right here, which are meditations that have to do with the energy field. One of them's on letting go, letting, it's called like energy cords. It's a symbol for understanding connection to people, bringing your energy back. There's another one on like, there's another one on forgiveness that includes music that invokes certain resentments in the body that you're able to release, let go of so you can be more free. Anyways, it's gonna start soon. It's live hot seat coaching, live meditation, live breathwork. If you can't make it live, you will also get replays, and there's lifetime access as well. So if you can't make it live for the whole thing, get lifetime access to it if you join and get the invite today or by tomorrow. So with that being said, I'm gonna go to the questions here in a minute. So in general, Letting go, letting go is really about trusting. What is the— yeah, what is the opposite of attachment? What is the opposite of control? Trusting. Learning to trust God, the divine, that energy to flow through. And when you do that, that's where magic really starts to come into your life. Becoming aware of that, becoming aware of those patterns, those energies. So I'm gonna look at some of the questions as well. Let's see, how about if— I'm not sure what this means, but someone says, how about if you're not sure if you are meant to have a relationship as you've gone way past it? What does that mean? If you're not sure you're meant to have a relationship. Now what's interesting about the questions is questions reveal our beliefs about the process. And I have to catch myself sometimes because I'll even ask this for myself. Like, am I meant, am I meant, one thing I ask myself is, am I meant to live in one place or travel a lot? Am I meant to sign a 6-month lease or a 12-month lease here in California, or am I meant to go do this? And I'll ask myself this question sometimes. What am I meant to do? And it implies that there's some destiny, like, imagine there's like a soul contract that I wrote. Before I came in, I believe we're eternal spiritual beings living temporary human experiences. And imagine that part of that was before I came into this life, I'm like, Aaron Doughty, you are meant to get a 6-month lease in the later half of 2025. You will have a 6-month lease or 12-month lease. However, you are not meant to do this thing over here. And in fact, if you do this thing over here, Wow, grave consequences. Can you imagine? Like, these are the things that our higher self or God destined. And imagine like before your life, you're like, am I meant to have a relationship or not meant to have a relationship? And they're like, in your soul contract, if you have a relationship, just so you know, you were meant not to. It was predestined you would not have a relationship. Now, of course, this all sounds silly, right? Why would we have a life experience where we get to experience these things if it was all predestined? I think we came here to learn. I think one of the reasons we come into this reality is to learn also attachment and letting go. I think that's like a lesson. It's like once you learn the lesson, it's like you learn to let go more and more and to be at one with God or the divine. It's like then magic happens. Magic happens, magic happens. But then you go, oh, but wait, this thing over here I think is really important. And then you go back to it and it's like, nah, nah, nah. And it's like that attachment creates resistance and you learn again. And then you go back and you're like, oh yeah, let God flow through. Just be, just align. And what happens is it's like, that's one of the lessons I think we came here to learn. I think we also came here to learn certain relational lessons. 'Cause like Earth is like a school. Like I believe we come here, we forget who we are to remember who we are, to know thyself, to allow God to flow through, to connect onto something greater than ourselves. These are all things I believe that we come here to learn. And one of it could be like, maybe you came here to learn boundaries. So we're like, okay, you came here to learn boundaries. And you're like, okay, I'm gonna, You talk about the whole soul contract thing, right? You're like, soul contract, am I meant to learn boundaries or not? I like how it's like an old, like medieval, medieval voice. Am I meant to learn boundaries or not? And what happens, it's like, okay, let's in life attract people that are controlling, that are entitled, that are demanding. And if you attract those people into your life, they're gonna give you the opportunity to learn how to set boundaries, how to get into your power. So what happens is you attract people into your life, you're like, oh my goodness, it's hard to set boundaries. No, just like the Palo Santo, right? Is it hard to let go of this? No, it's easy. It's easy to set boundaries. The only reason it's hard to set boundaries is because you believe you are responsible for the tension that someone else feels. When you establish a boundary that is in alignment with your ability to feel safe inside of your body. So you set boundaries and it feels safe, then you create safety in your body by setting boundaries as well. If that other person's tension is their tension to deal with, not yours, there's no problem. But there is a challenge if you have a childhood pattern where you feel other people's tension and take responsibility for it. So what if in life it was like, okay, I came here, I wanted to learn boundaries, I wanted to learn how to be in my body and how to feel safe within myself, so I'm gonna attract people that test my boundaries so that I could get firm in my boundaries. Now, here's the interesting thing. Once you learn how to set boundaries and you begin doing it and you become comfortable with it, you stop attracting people into your life that test your boundaries. And if they do test your boundaries, it's not a big deal 'cause you've already mastered the lesson. You don't take on the guilt. And guilt just makes you, is a way of keeping you responsible. Whether that's guilt in a family, do what mom and dad want you to do. You will go to school, you will get college degree, you will become a doctor, you'll become a lawyer. This is what you'll do because this is what your parents want for you. And you say, I feel guilty if I do something for myself, I feel selfish. Well, understand that that guilt is a way of keeping you feeling responsible for your parents' expectations. Now, what if, think about this, what if your parents subconsciously came here to learn unconditional love, to learn how to accept you for you being you? but you're robbing them of that experience of learning that lesson because you're playing in your pattern of I'm afraid and I wanna live in their expectations, up to their expectations, and I feel responsible for them. So you're actually enabling them to continue to have this expectation of you rather than allowing them to get the lesson of recognizing that you are your own individual person. And take this beyond just the family. What if by you not setting boundaries with someone else, because you feel responsible for their tension, you feel guilty, whatever, but what if by you not setting boundaries, which is an authentic way for you to create safety in your body, what you're doing is you're also enabling the other person to continue their pattern of taking, taking, and expecting so much out of other people in their life. Even projecting their energy onto you or other people. You give them an opportunity to have a new reflection. Does that make sense? So all the way around, we're able to learn how to let go by also resolving the unclosed loop from childhood in in our nervous system. If you've seen this video on YouTube and you wanna join the 21 Day Confidence Love Challenge, it's starting here in just a few days and it's 21 days to a more confident you that has attracting love easier than ever. So if you want to remove any masculine or feminine shield that you have up, if you want to let go of anxious or avoidant tendencies and begin to become more secure inside of yourself, if you want to learn how to feel confident by allowing that energy to flow through you versus trying to control to stay in the ego patterns, then what you can do is join this process. We're gonna have thousands of people all connecting group energy together. We're gonna do live hot seat coaching, live breathwork, live meditations, everything, and you'll get lifetime access to everything by joining at the link below. So now's the time to sign up. Hope to see you on the inside. and I hope to see you there. So letting go is the magnetic power that you have that also says, I trust the divine, I trust God. Now, when you were a kid, there was probably something that happened. There was tension in the household. There was some form of trauma response that happened that then said, I can't trust. And think about this, when we're talking about attachment styles, right? You talk about anxious attachment or avoidant attachment. And then there's secure attachment. Now these are patterns, these aren't who you are, but however, if someone is anxiously attached, they lean in and crave love. That's how they control getting their needs met is by craving it and having different mechanisms to getting their needs met. Now for avoidance, it's the same thing but the opposite side. There's an overwhelming energy around that, around somebody that desires or intimacy in general. So they keep it at an arm's length and they don't trust it. They wanna be alone or they want to at least like have that space. Now the thing is, is both of these mechanisms are ways of control from an inner child anxious or an inner child avoidant that didn't feel seen, heard, soothed, or nurtured. And that felt it was more safe to either go on their own way and be individually in their own energy or craving and desiring and having to kind of lean in for the love. They're both versions of control. Now the answer of course, is it to get rid of them? How do I get rid of the anxious or avoidant attachment pattern? How do I get rid? That was a question. And it was a great question because it implies, it's like the idea of getting rid of an inner child. Like imagine there's an inner child. I'm like, I'm gonna get rid of you. And they're like, no more abandonment. I feel even more abandoned. You want to get rid of me? Even your inner child is medieval. Your medieval little child, inner child, no. And then what happens is you just, what happens is that part of you feels even more abandoned. A lot of times I think both anxious and avoidant, there's some form of abandonment wound there. And for the anxious, like the abandonment there is they don't like the feeling of feeling abandoned or afraid they're abandoned. So they lean in and try to control. And the avoidant, doesn't trust because somehow as a kid, some trust was broken. It was like the way they internalized that as a kid was like, oh, what's the bother? There was relational trauma that came from closeness. So what happens is like there's a don't trust it, kind of keep it just in this little safe zone right here. So here's my control. I'm gonna push away. I'm gonna say this. These are both forms of control. And the thing, the answer, and what we're gonna be doing in the Confidence Love Challenge, by the way, is there's a whole day out of the 21 days, it's basically like 21 lessons. And one of the days is on becoming more securely attached within yourself by integrating and meeting that anxious or avoidant inner child, developing a relationship with it, not getting rid of it, connecting to it. And developing trust with that part of you, integrating it into your nervous system so that you begin to feel more regulated inside of your nervous system. Makes all the difference in the world when you begin doing this. You start to feel more calm, you start to feel more empowered, you start to feel less shame. Because a lot of times what happens is if there's shame, and that's when we say like, let's get rid of the avoidant or anxious inner child, let's get rid of them, more shame. So instead of the shame, what you can begin doing is you begin to integrate it by meeting it, having the courage to have that vulnerability, which means vulner means wound and ability, ability to go into the wound. So understand that this is the process of understanding the control mechanisms within the ego, which just wants to stay in survival, just wants to stay in familiar. It just wants to stay in familiar. Let's see. Um, here's a good question. How do you stop putting what you desire on a pedestal and keep self-sabotaging? Well, first off, understand Here's another thing that I was mentioning earlier about this whole like, like what enlightened people say that's the most scariest and the most empowering thing about reality. That is that nothing in our life has any meaning other than the meaning we give it. Everything is fundamentally neutral. Now here's the funny thing about things we put on a pedestal. When we put something on a pedestal, what we do, is we make something really important. We say this is very important and we put it on a pedestal. And when we put it on a pedestal, we immediately energetically separate ourselves from that thing. And what happens is we then project onto that thing qualities that may not even be there that are inflated and grandiose. This person is amazing. They are, they're a unicorn. Oh my gosh, all these things. And then what happens is that gets projected onto the person or onto the situation. And because it's not what reality really is, it literally resists. It's like that quote, if you treat someone like a celebrity, they will treat you like a fan. And if you treat someone like they're on a pedestal, they will treat you like you're on the ground below them. But also understand that you are the one that's also projecting that energy on. You're projecting that energy, and because that energy is projected, it feels— it literally feels weird. It does feel weird. There are times I meet people in public that recognize me from my videos, and there are times, many times, amazing interactions. It's great to connect, and it's very natural. I was at the gym yesterday, and I met somebody there that was like, you watched my videos 3 years ago, and it was— we talked for a couple months, super chill, super cool. And one of the reasons one of the reasons it was super chill, super cool, because it was just natural. He wasn't putting me on a pedestal. He wasn't like, there was no weird energy. And I ended up talking to him and then I went to another part of the gym and talked to him a little bit again, just 'cause it was such an easy flow conversation. Now sometimes what happens is I'll see someone and there may be this, this, oh my gosh, look at this, and this expectation and almost like an expectation that sometimes people literally, it's like a spiritual thing I think. do you have a message for me? As if I'm like some spiritual psychic that's like, yes, at 12 o'clock tomorrow, do this. And, but it's this energy that's projection and it makes it, it's like, I can't even, like, and a lot of times if I do meet someone that's like, I know this sounds egotistical to say all this, by the way, like some of this, like it sounds like I'm kind of like bragging or something, but I'm just saying like, normally what I'll try to do is help people feel comfortable because I've been on that side before too where I see someone that I recognize from something or, and I'm kind of like, I can feel in my body like the projection coming up, you know? So I know what it's like. So I like to help people feel natural and normal just by like regulating my own nervous system. And then a lot of times that can help people like relax, but sometimes it may not. And then that energy, especially if it follows me around, which I have had, I've had some pretty weird things happen in the past. But besides the point, the idea is it makes it weird, okay? It's a projection of energy. Now, the way that, here's the cool thing about what I shared earlier about how everything has no built-in meaning. It's on understanding also that nothing is more important or less important than anything else. I also believe this to be true also about worthiness, by the way. When we talk about worthiness, no one is more worthy than you and also no one is less worthy than you. This is why when people say like, how do I feel more worthy? I think it's a lot less about using affirmations and being like, I am worthy, I am worthy, I am worthy, I am enough, I'm enough, I'm enough, because it's just a concept. Now really I think where the power is is just letting go of the belief that you're not worthy. And allowing your, I think it's empowering and more believable to say I am both not worthy and worthy at the same time. It's almost like that, it's just, I am, I am, I'm present, I exist. It's empowering. I know that might sound like a concept or an idea that's like puts you below or it's kind of like, but it's almost like this inflated, like I am worthy, I am worthy, I am worthy. When you see a baby, a baby just exists, a baby just is. And all of us would probably agree that the baby is worthy for just being the baby, right? There's nothing the baby needs to do to be worthy. But imagine putting headphones on the baby that say, "I am worthy, I am worthy, I am worthy." It's a silly idea, right? The baby just is. And same thing, I think it's just us. We just are. Everything at the fundamental level of what we're talking about here, everything is God. Everything is the divine. Nothing is not God or God. It's like, it's all part of it. Now there's different expressions of it. There's the expression of separation. There's the expression of connection. But understand that that helps kind of like take things off a pedestal by realize, by, okay, so if we're talking about how to shift, not putting things on a pedestal, One of the things you could become aware of is what part of you believes that that thing that's on a pedestal that you're projecting onto it believes that that's gonna somehow bring you happiness, completion, et cetera. Like what is the belief? Like if I meet this person, then I can feel whole and complete or connected or what? And realizing that that energy is already inside of you. Realizing that when it becomes natural for you, like the more successful I've become, the more natural a lot of things in my life are. And that's honestly more the goal than anything else when it comes to wanting things to be worthy. Like if you wanna be worthy, think about that. I am worthy, I am worthy, I am worthy. It's like this inflate, it's like trying to wire in this inflated thing when instead it's also like, You want it to be natural for your identity. Like you imagine now the ideal perfect relationship you wanna be in and you could do a meditation where you're feeling it as if it's here now when you're walking on the beach with your lover and all of these things and oh my God, it just feels so incredible. Now for opening the heart, I think that could be a very good practice because you're priming your field for the emotions you wanna create. But it's also about realizing that once that thing comes here, that person comes in your life or whatever, it will feel natural for the nervous system that you've developed. Just like when I used to imagine myself in the abundance that I live in now, I used to imagine the abundance, I'd imagine the things I could do, the places I could travel, all of these things. Now that I'm in it, it's just normal. In fact, a lot of the things I thought I would do when I became abundant and started making money, I actually don't do because it's like, it also become, for me, I've learned what I value. And for me, I value freedom. I value not having materialistic things. I value letting go of all, I let go of all that last year when I started traveling. I realized I was moving every year from house to house realizing like, this isn't, is this the place I'm supposed to be? Is this the place I'm meant to be? Realizing my soul likes travel. My soul likes freedom. Things were burdening, this is for me, the things that some people may think bring security were bringing me burden. So I sold like 90% of what I own. Even now I'm selling and getting rid of assets and things because I just wanna travel and be free. That's what I value. But I had to learn for 8 or 9 years of becoming abundant that things and materialism creates burden for me and I can find more freedom in experiences and travel. These are the things I enjoy. I also see the symbol behind certain things in life. Like for me, one thing that I'm working on right now is I'm selling, getting rid of, not getting rid, but I'm selling, I have like couple, like over the years of becoming successful, I've bought properties or houses and things like that. What I'm realizing is I just don't wanna, deal with any of that. So I'm selling and also I value, this is so random, I can't believe I'm sharing this, but another thing that I value is having no, I don't want no mortgage payments, no debt, nothing. Right now the only debt I have is like a house, a few houses or whatever, but I'm selling some and I'm gonna keep one and pay it off. Then it's like, I feel like that'll be freedom. And maybe there's freedom now, there's freedom now, But basically that's like my values have shifted since I've become abundant and now I'm traveling a lot. And then it's like there's this pattern though that comes up because every time I travel somewhere I'm like, is this the place? Is this the place I'm gonna live? Is this, should I sign? Am I meant to sign a 6-month or a year lease here? And can I enjoy the unknown? Can I enjoy just traveling, living where I go and then just not knowing where I'm gonna go next? And that's part of the focus of when I go to Europe soon. When I go to Europe, I'll have some of it planned, but some of it will be like, where do I wanna go? And I'll just kind of go and plan it as I go, which is kind of different from the way I normally operate. But, and then from there, do I come back to LA? Do I go somewhere else? Do I go to Bali? What do I do? What am I meant to do? In my soul contract? What am I meant to do? But I realize I, I meant to do whatever I want, whatever I want in the moment. But can I allow God, the energy, just to flow? So how do you stop putting your desire on a pedestal and keep self-sabotaging? Realizing it may feel more familiar, it may feel familiar for you to project things and to put your power outside of yourself. That may feel familiar. And the thing you wanna become aware of is where can you soothe, see, hear, and nurture the part of you from probably from your past that is doing that, that is putting things on a pedestal, putting people on a pedestal. It's almost like, think about this, here's a deeper layer of this that may resonate with some of you. If as a kid you had a parent or an authority figure that you felt did not see, hear, soothe, or nurture you in a certain way and you felt not good enough, what you'll do is in life, you may go around and find people and situations and circumstances to put on a pedestal because it helps you to replay the familiar dynamics of I'm not good enough and this thing over here is an authority. And the thing that is an authority is on a pedestal. Because it's up and elevated, symbolically reflected of authority. So it's like you're trying to prove yourself to something that you're gonna project authority onto. Just like someone's like, Aaron, do you have a message for me? Are you the authority that's gonna tell me something outside of myself? You have all the answers. And just in the same way, maybe you are creating the pedestalization because it feels normal to feel not worthy. So can you soothe the part of you that feels not worthy? Can you be present with that part of you? That's the deeper aspect right now. This is all things we're gonna be doing, by the way, in the upcoming Confidence Love Challenge, which starts next Wednesday. And now is the time before tomorrow The time to join, if you do want the invite, it's CLC, which stands for Confidence Love Challenge. I will send you the invite. It's all automatically done, but it is there. Let's see, let's see, let's see. How do I let go of the fear of rejection and judgment from others? I was ridiculed as a child by mom and the fear of being seen. So here's the thing about the fear of rejection and the judgment from others. Now, the answer to this is that what happens is if we are afraid of being rejected, What we are once again doing is kind of what I just mentioned. We are projecting onto outer reality the authority that deems someone. It's almost like we're giving someone a slip that says on the slip worthy or not worthy. And what we're doing is we're saying, I'm afraid of rejection. I'm afraid by being me, I'm going to give someone this paper, which is in the form of like, do you validate me? Do you like me? Am I worthy or not worthy? Do you like me or not like me? And we're looking on the external and afraid that if they put, no, I don't like you, or not worthy, that it means there's something wrong with us. So what we have done is we have internalized, we've internalized these things. We think that someone else's perceived rejection means there's something wrong with us. Or we think that the judgment from others is as if that's something we must manage. And that if someone judges us, that's something bad. Freedom is when you can let people judge you and it doesn't affect you because you are the one that is the ultimate source of authority. So once again, just like people put things and people on a pedestal because it's replaying childhood dynamics that says that you get to replay feeling not worthy, not liked, et cetera, it's a way of recreating that familiar energy. What if there's a part of you that's recreating the energy of, do you like me or not? You have the authority to tell me. Because as a kid, if you didn't feel loved, validated or you weren't encouraged to say, how do you feel about you? You'll constantly look to the others for safety, which is kind of what's happening. Looking to the others for safety, looking to others and say, am I enough? Am I good? Am I bad? If someone likes, if someone doesn't like me, there is pain. But here's the thing, you can choose not to internalize it and you can choose to like you. How do you feel about you? This is where the true power is. When you prioritize your sense of agency for how you feel about you over what other people think about you, that's when you'll be in your power. When you are focused on wondering what other people think about you, whether they like you or not, if they're judging you or not, it's literally projecting your sense of power of how you feel about you It's outsourcing it to someone else and then saying, okay, here's my power. Can— here's a marker and here's a piece of paper that says worthy or not worthy, or says you like me, you don't like me. What do you think? It's like when you're a little kid and you're, you know, you have your first crush or something and you pass a note to someone. You're like, you pass a note to someone you have a crush on and they take it out and it says, do you like me? Yes or no? And if they go yes or no and they pass it back to you and you look at it, and if it says what you want, I'm worthy, I'm enough. But if it says no, you're, there's something wrong with me. But imagine if you feel confident about you and you read it and it's like, you can choose to be like, oh, that's not my person. Oh, this isn't, it's okay. It has nothing, I don't have to internalize it. Does this make sense? So power comes from the awareness of whether we are outsourcing our sense of validation or approval to other people, or whether we are insourcing it, or sourcing it to God and the divine, feeling that divine flow and connection come through. And once again, this is the things— yeah, also people pleasing. Letting go of people pleasing, letting go of fixing other people. When you fix other people, you are enabling other people. When you're pleasing other people, you're also enabling them by being nice and thinking it's your responsibility to be a pleaser. As if like soul contract-wise, like when I come to your earth, I will be a people pleaser and a fixer. It will be my responsibility to make other people happy instead of me just being worthy for being me. And when you shed those patterns, you become magnetic, you become confident. And the Confidence Love Challenge is starting soon, is all about becoming in-source, sourcing from within your own level of confidence, your own level of trust, connecting to the divine, something greater than you, no longer living in childhood patterns of survival and the ego. Of trying to control things to happen in a certain way. Realize when you let go, that's when your power comes back to you. When you let go, you allow the divine to flow through. And you can do that starting now. Remember, it's easy to let go. It's easy. It's just a choice. But if your nervous system has been patterned into holding on and there's a clenching there, it will take a moment to let go. You can still do it, And now the reasons to stay clenched are the other thing that'll keep you in attachment. The things, I need to stay clenched. If I let this thing go, I will let go of the Himalayan master that gave me the Palo Santo stick and told me that if I kept it with me always, I could be enough. It's a story. You are worthy for being you and you can let go. And if you let go, you might find it stays with you. You might find it stays with you, but you don't have to control it. Imagine everywhere I get, do I have this? Do I have this? Do I have the Palo Santo? I go to the gym, where is it? I leave it in my bag. Did someone steal my bag? Where is it? Then it's like trying to control, trying to control, resistance, resistance. If you're good either way, your bag will probably be there. And then also by trying to control, you create the resistance of the opposite effect where you actually make it more likely that something weird does happen. It's like if you just bought a new car and you're like constantly polishing it, you're like, I hope like a rock doesn't hit it, I hope something doesn't happen. You may attract some weird thing happening where someone's cart scratches it or something because you're putting out so much resistance and you're so focused on the details. Someone says, how to let go if people are rude to you, rude to me? If people are rude to you, you can choose whether you internalize their rudeness or not. And the thing is, is when you can just let them be rude and let them be in their energy and know that maybe they're just having a bad day, maybe that's just how they are, you don't have to judge them, but you could just let them be, then you're more in your freedom. What is the other alternative? Don't let them be rude? Control them? Of course, that's a silly idea. We can't control. You just got to let people be. But the funny thing is that you don't have to internalize that. So with that being said, this is fun live. If you want me to go live again, there are a lot of questions in here. There are a lot of questions in here. Maybe we'll do another one tomorrow. Would you guys want to do another one tomorrow? Yeah, emotional availability, we can talk about that tomorrow. How to feel safe in your body, we could talk about that. So keep, maybe around the same time tomorrow we'll go live. How about that? How to pattern your nervous system for love, we'll talk about that. So let me know, keep your eye out for tomorrow, we'll go live. Other than that, I wanna thank you guys for being here. If you haven't joined the Confidence Love Challenge yet, tomorrow is the last day to join to get all the bonuses, which include meditations. That are inside that are on, one is on forgiveness, including live music from a live event that I did. It was one of the most powerful meditations I've done on a Ho'oponopono type process. There's another one on cutting energy cords that's very powerful as well. And then there's one other meditation there as well. And if you join by tomorrow, you get all those meditations. And yeah. I think that's it. Confident, we're gonna be going live. If you can't make it live, there's also lifetime access to everything. If you comment CLC, I'll send you the invite, which stands for Confidence, Love, Challenge. And yeah, going live, doing live breathwork, live hot seat coaching where I actually bring people up and coach, and then videos that keep you on a process of transformation. You can go through it whenever you want in the future 'cause you'll have lifetime access to it if you join for tomorrow. So anyways, That's it. Other than that, I'll talk to you guys soon. Peace, much love, and namaste.
