Manifest ANYTHING by doing these two things

Aaron Doughty explains how to manifest desires by visualizing outcomes while releasing attachment to how they happen. Trying to control results creates resistance; instead, enter a high-vibration flow state and let the universe align with you. He uses a tight-palm exercise and farmer metaphor to show how letting go works.

In this video, I'm gonna show you how to actually visualize what you want and intend while also letting go at the same time. This is something, whether it is you want to attract love, whether it is you want to attract abundance, whether it is you want to create a lifestyle of your dreams, whatever it is, there is a delicate balance between being able to visualize it and embody it, but yet let go of the outcome at the same time and how it actually happens. Now, have you noticed that anytime you're really attached to something or really trying to control something, you create resistance around that? Think about it, especially in the term of relationships. It's one thing you cannot control. In fact, when you are in relationship with someone else and you try to control them, whether it is you want their approval, their validation, you want them to be a specific way, you want them to stop doing certain habits, what happens? You'll find the more you try to control them to do what you want them to do, what do they do? They rebel. What do you do if somebody tries to control you? I remember there were times that somebody wants me to do something, I can feel they want me to do it, naturally, I wanna rebel because I want to live in my own level of autonomy and not feel controlled by somebody else. Well, what happens is that is an energy dynamic that you can think of that the universe also works in collaboration with you on. When you are trying to control the universe, It's like having that of the, your hands at the throat of the universe. Give me the abundance, the job, the love, whatever it is. And when there's the demands like that, when it's an energy like that, it's not the energy of being, it's the energy of control. And remember, anything that includes control includes resistance. You could say when you look at athletes, let's use this as an example. When you see athletes, what do they have control over? Can they control whether the ball goes into the hoop in basketball? Can they control it? You'd say, well, maybe they do control it. But in actuality, what they really have the most control over is their state of being and their ability to get into a flow state. Their ability to not let outside influence influence them when it's the game-winning shot or they have to make some free throws and there's a whole bunch of rowdy crowd members yelling at them. They have to be able to be present and to be in a flow state. When they're in a flow state, there's very little thinking. They're not thinking, I need to go over here, I need to do this over here. They're more so just being. It's a flow state, it's an energy. So there's a certain degree of letting go that they have, and that letting go is paired with that of the ability to get into that flow state and to be doing what they're doing. Now, I say that because in some videos I talk about how the higher your vibration is, like the more you're in a flow state, the less thoughts you think. And when you're attached to thinking, it's like being attached to a survival mechanism to get what you want. Thinking is in a way a survival mechanism that we use because when you're in a loving state, in joy and peace, you're not thinking, you're being. The most pleasant experience you've had this year, these last couple years, remember it right now. Just think about it. What were you doing? Maybe it's a certain specific situation. Maybe you were, with a significant other walking on the beach, watching the sunset. Well, in that moment, what were you thinking about? You were probably just being present with them. You weren't like, you could have been like, oh, I'm grateful I'm with this person on the beach. You could be thinking those thoughts, but that's not what made you feel happy. It was the presence. So one of the interesting things about visualization and letting go is understanding what is the mechanism for visualization, and then let's look at a metaphor for understanding letting go because I believe this will completely change the way you relate to how you go about creating your dream life. Now with visualization, the purpose of visualization, most people think is I'm going to visualize what I want to experience and then it's gonna come into my life. It's more about energy than it is what you actually visualize. What you visualize is a symbol where when you visualize that symbol, you feel a specific way inside of your body. That feeling is what is then aligning synchronicities into your life. So when you think of visualization, if you're attached to what you visualize has to come to fruition, that's the attachment. It's more so visualizing it because it's an end of itself. When you visualize, you feel excitement and you know whether it's something that aligns with your nervous system and with you, more so with how you prefer to be, with how excited do you feel? Even if it makes you feel a little bit fearful. There's some things that you could be the highest vibrational version of you that could kind of scare you a little bit. Like if I think of doing like a 2,000-person live event, I've done events with up to like 300, 400 people. That was exciting and cool, but if I imagine 2,000, it's exciting and a little bit of nerves with that, but that's a good thing. That means it's the edge of my identity, the edge of my comfort zone. But you see, the purpose of visualization, every single day when you visualize, you want to feel as if you are in that reality now and let the visualization be a symbol for what you want to create. But you see, if you're like, well, that thing I visualize has to come to fruition the exact way I visualize it, well, guess what? That's attachment to outcome. That's trying to control things. When the universe, is able to actually bring you something maybe even better than what you can imagine, but you literally, you'll block it because you'll be insistent, this is what I wanna create. Like imagine the energy state, imagine this. Imagine you are visualizing you meeting your soulmate and you're imagining that it's gonna happen at this yoga class. And it's gonna happen at the yoga class and you're gonna sit there and this person's gonna come up to you and you're visualizing they're gonna give you, they're gonna like sit, put their mat next to you and they'd be like, what's your name? And you're gonna be like, oh, my name's this or whatever. And there's this like whatever, there's this like moviesque type soulmate reconnection moment where you recognize each other and then you're gonna go on dates and you're gonna fall in love, okay? That's how it's gonna happen. That's what I visualize. It feels so good, Aaron. But then what happens, you're visualizing it, you're visualizing it, you're visualizing it. You go that morning to get your cup of tea or your cup of coffee and there's someone in line that you'd normally be attracted to, but you're like, you know what? It's not in the yoga class. I'm not in the yoga class. It's not gonna happen unless I'm in the yoga class. And this person's right next to you says something and you're like, no, you're not that person in the yoga class. And you just go back to wait in line. And then what happens is you miss that opportunity because vibrationally, energetically, there was an attachment to how things were meant to happen. But remember, the how isn't what's important. It's the energy state that you are in, and you know about whether something really resonates with you with how excited do you get. So the key here is to follow the excitement for as an end of itself. Without trying to control and manipulate the universe. Because understand, it will rebel against you because everything is responding to your vibration. Not because the universe doesn't want you to have what you want, it wants you to learn to trust. It wants you to learn to let go. And everything else in the universe does have the free will to rebel against you trying to control it. Now, control many times is a survival mechanism where as a kid, it didn't feel safe to trust, it didn't feel safe to be in the moment, it didn't feel safe to let go. So what happened is as a survival mechanism, it's like, I will control. I will control what people think, I will control how people respond, I will, I have to, I have to kind of like really overly express what I want or need. But guess what? It has the opposite effect. Would you keep doing something when you think it gets you a certain result Realizing it doesn't, that's when you could start to really be like, why am I doing this? And here's the thing, here's the, we'll get into actually how to let go here in a second, which I think is an analogy that will completely change the way you look at this process. But the deepest level of healing, I believe, is when you realize there is a part of your inner child that is scared, that is afraid to let go, that doesn't trust. I had to reemerge with my own inner child because growing up, control was a mechanism used against me. Not, you know, living in a prison within my own. Scary thing is that prison ended up becoming kind of safe. It felt safe, felt familiar. Not being able to have friends, needing to sneak food to get enough food to eat, having a controlling ex-stepmom in my life. From 7 to 17 had me feeling like I was in a little box. And in a weird way, that control felt normal. Now, when my ex-stepmom left my life at 17 and my dad divorced her, there was all this freedom. I was allowed to have friends. I was allowed to have enough food to eat. I was allowed to watch television. Wasn't outside working all day. Freedom. But with that freedom came anxiety. Because in that anxiety, there's the unknown. And that unknown seems scary. So I would recreate that control in different ways. I would control my diet. I would control, I think eventually later on I ended up enjoying smoking like substance that would make me feel relaxed because it was the certainty that came with when I did this, I felt this way. I would then have a certain work ethic and I put certain pressure on myself because that control felt normal. Familiar. What I've had to learn to do is to trust reality and to have more fun, be more adaptable. And that's allowed a whole new world to open up for me. Even right now as I record this, I'm in California. I'm gonna be living here for months and then traveling more. And one of the reasons I didn't travel so much was because of the unpredictability around either Wi-Fi connection, around not having blacked-out drapes in my room so I could sleep deep. Sleep deep, so like a deep sleep. I almost didn't go in Costa Rica back in 2017 because I called the place, the life transformation place I was going, and they said they didn't have alkaline water. Isn't that ridiculous? Literally I was like, do you guys have, what kind of water do you have? They're like reverse osmosis. It's like, ah, I don't know if that's good enough, but I pushed myself to do it. I'm glad I did. I'd be living in my little box. I got my alkaline water, I'm in my house, I'm doing nothing, but I have alkaline water, so my vibration's gonna be high. It's dumb, right? Okay, let's look at this analogy now. So realize that what you're, you're following the thread of excitement. Control is a mechanism you use because you resist the unknown, because the unknown isn't scary because you don't trust it. Because back in the day when you were a kid, you may have not been able to trust. The inner child part of you that's scared is what you could begin talking to. I had to realize there was a scared part scared version of me that was afraid of the unknown, that felt safe having to sneak television with the finger on the remote that said previous channel in case somebody came home from work. My brother and I, one of us was on the lookout. We would hit the freaking button, throw the remote so it was on the previous channel so they didn't know what we were watching. We would run outside and continue working. That felt safe. And that little scared version of me, I had to comfort, I had to, develop trust with that part of myself for me to then trust more in reality. And by the way, if you wanna learn a step-by-step process to elevate your vibration to the next level, I've created a $1,000 course for free called High Vibe 101. Comes with breathwork processes, how to let go, how to forgive, how to heal the energy with your mom and your dad, how that affects other areas of your life. If you want it, go and click the link below. It's in my free High Vibe Tribe and it's a free $1,000 course. I think it's this important that people have it and that's why I give it away for free. Free so you can check it out there. Now let's look at this analogy. When you think about letting go, lemme show you two perspectives. When you let go, what do you have to do to let go? It's kind of simple, right? You just let go. It's real simple. Now when people say it's letting go too hard, it's because it's felt so comfortable to hold onto this thing for so long. And what happens is holding onto it in a way has become a survival mechanism and you've been carrying it around so long that you don't even know who you are if you weren't carrying it. It's like you picked this up when you were a kid. Maybe it was a belief, maybe it was some form of attachment. Maybe it's the belief, the approval of validation of other people, holding onto it everywhere you go. What do people think of me? If people don't see me with this, they're gonna think I'm weird. That's the belief. Now let it go. It's easy, right? Let go. Now, if you were to hold onto this really, really tight, like a pencil, really, really tight for like 2 minutes, and I say let go, your hand would kind of be locked up for a sec, 'cause it's not used to letting go. It's got so much clenched, the energy and the muscles are kind of tense. But then eventually you'd let go and it would go. Now, look at it like this. There's a balance of letting go and allowing. Now go ahead and hold with your palm face this way, really, really tight, and then let go. What happens? It just stays on the palm of my hand. And what happens is you're able to just allow it to be. Doesn't mean letting go always means you just, you let go and you chuck something. There are things you can let go of and let them be. And a big part of the process of letting go and visualizing at the same time is recognizing things, recognizing what you would do different, recognizing how you can shift your energy, but not trying to control things, not needing to like discern it and throw it away, but at the same time, realizing that the purpose is for you to get into a certain energy. You never know the exact outcome of how things will happen and understand that in our reality, the meaning we give things is the reflection that we get. There's an old school metaphor on this that will really beautifully explain this. There was a farmer and that farmer had a son. And what happened is the son was with the horses and riding on the horse, and the son fell off the horse, and people from the town were walking by and said, "Oh, how unfortunate that your son fell off the horse and broke his leg." And the farmer said, "Maybe, maybe it's unfortunate. What happened is a few weeks later, there was a draft." and all able kids had to go to that of this war. And parents were afraid their kids were gonna go to war and there was gonna be like, they may not come back. But then what happened is there was a recognition, people walked by, oh, your kid's not going into the war because he broke his leg, how fortunate. So it was unfortunate, now it's fortunate. And the farmer says, "Maybe." And there's a whole other part of this metaphor that I'm forgetting. But the story basically is that maybe is the attitude of this farmer because you never know how things turn out. And I think there was something to do with the cattle or something like that. Like something happened and something happened with the cattle. But at the end of it, it's like, "Oh, unfortunate your son breaks his leg. Oh, then it's not going to, son's not going to war." And it's like, there's all these like, ups and downs of perspective depending on what you choose to believe. In the same way, let go of needing to control, let go of needing to understand it all. Begin to develop that relationship with your inner child and realize that as you do and as you start trusting yourself to get more into the unknown, more magic will happen. One of the main reasons I'm traveling right now and I've got out of the nest of being around my friends in Austin and having the same routine every day is because I know that getting into the unknown is going to inspire me. It's going to have me also step into the unknown and doing more live events and doing other things that maybe I would've not done if I was in the autopilot mind of what I've always done. So I visualize myself loving life, having a new lifestyle. I'm here now surfing every single day and I'm in a new creative energy and that inspires me and that's also inspiring me to step more to the unknown in my business, doing more live events, finding more ways of creating content. Like, it's interesting how one thing affects everything. But if you want to understand more about this, really focus on visualizing what you want to get into a certain state, letting go of the outcome, and understand that letting go is more of something you choose to do because you choose to instead trust the divine. The divine will lead you to where you need to be in the right moment, in the right time. Don't put your hands to the throat of the universe thinking you understand exactly what it needs to do and like how it should be. And then you'll allow things to happen in a much more magical way. Now, if you want to learn that or to have that of a meditation, that is one of my most powerful meditations that will help you raise your dominant vibration permanently. It's got over 2 million views. It's got comments that say that people have like literally doing it 21 days will completely shift your energy field, and then shift your life. Read the comments to see what's possible, and then do that meditation for 21 days and watch what happens. I'm going to put it right here. This meditation will change your dominant vibration.
