promise me you'll use this manifestation secret for good...

In this video Aaron Doughty shares a personal story from his time selling women's shoes at Nordstrom to illustrate how shifting from ego‑driven desire to a flow‑state of adding value can dramatically amplify manifestation results. He recounts setting a specific sales goal, visualizing it, then moving from outcome‑focus to genuinely serving customers, which led to a massive $8,300 sale that matched his written intention. Doughty connects this experience to Neville Goddard’s teaching that "everyone is you pushed out" and argues that we are vessels for divine energy; when we operate from a place of service, the universe returns abundance, whereas ego‑centric goals create restriction. He expands the concept to content creation, entrepreneurship, and even lottery winners, suggesting that those who fail to become a "vessel" end up losing their wealth. Practical advice includes focusing on the value you provide rather than monetization, using gratitude, compliments, and consistent service to raise vibration, and a call to use a meditation from whatsmyvibration.com to calibrate consciousness. The overall message is that aligning with a flow of service unlocks synchronicities, opportunities, and sustainable abundance.

There's one thing that has allowed me to manifest more abundance, more positive synchronicity, more being in the right place at the right time, more than anything else. Out of all the techniques, out of all the manifestation processes, out of everything I've learned over the past 6 to 7 years, one thing has changed everything more than anything else. And this concept also is the block that that many people have and the reason I think a lot of people get lost down the manifestation process. I remember watching "The Secret" back in 2008, 2009 when my mom showed me the movie and there was something that definitely resonated about it. The idea that our thoughts can have an effect on our reality and there was this kind of like empowerment that came from that. I remember feeling like, I don't know exactly what that is, but I wanna like focus more on it. I felt like our thoughts did somehow influence our reality in some metaphysical way. And from that, it was years later working at Nordstrom's in women's shoes where I really began to apply it. Started watching a lot of Wayne Dyer, who is like a motivational speaker. And he passed away like 5 or 10 years ago. No, like 10 years ago. I forget, it's been a while. But when he passed away, I remember kind of like reflecting on how there was this power of intention video that I watched on my lunch break while I was selling women's shoes. And I would go in and I would visualize how much I wanted to sell. And I remember that when I was learning how to quote unquote manifest, it was fun to do at a job where you got paid commission because every single day I went into work, I could see the correlation between what my energy was to what result I was getting because I started at zero and I only got paid a percentage of the shoes that I sold. So I got paid 10% commission. So if I sold $2,000 worth of shoes, I made $200. If I sold $4,000 worth of shoes, I made $400. And I remember one time, one thing I did just to kind of like prove that the law of attraction worked is I wrote on my mirror, today I sold $8,000 worth of shoes. $8,342, some odd number like that, but it was in the $8,000 range, which was a lot. I don't think I've ever sold, up until that point, I never sold, had one day where I sold that much. And I remember going into work and I remember for the first like 2 or 3 hours, I was excited, that was my intention. I kept visualizing the feeling of having that, of $8,342 or whatever it was. And then what happened is, I remember after lunch break, I hadn't sold that much. And first 2 or 3 hours, hadn't sold that much. I was like, looks like it might not happen, but I kept like focusing on the gratitude for it. And then what happened is I stopped focusing on the outcome and I started focusing on simply adding value to people. I started focusing on helping the customers. I still had that goal in the background, but I realized that that goal was also dependent on the value that I could give out into the world, the value that I could give to the people, even selling women's shoes, the emotion that I could help them feel. And what ended up happening is I got into the flow state, I started helping people and it got extremely busy. I remember it was on a Sunday. Sundays could sometimes be very busy or sometimes not be busy. And what happened is I was at about $3,000 or $4,000, which is about average towards the end of the day. Right before the end of the day, I was in a flow state. This guy named Phillip comes over and he was like a top salesperson, but he had to leave for the day and he had a customer that he had and he had to go and he wanted to be off because he had his wife and his kids that he wanted to go to. And this is what he did. He said, Aaron, can you take this customer? He had no idea whether the customer was gonna buy or not. And this customer, I remember it was this person that was from Mexico and she spoke Spanish and I liked speaking Spanish as much as I could 'cause that's how I would learn How to speak more Spanish. So I took this customer and she literally proceeded to walk around the sales floor and to just point at a shoe and say, "Siete." She wanted size 7 or 7.5. She would say that, and, or media, it's been a minute. She would point, I would grab the shoe, she would slip it on just to see that it fit. And then she was like, "I'll take it." She went around the shoe department and even got like a Jimmy Choo that was, I remember like $1,300, which is a designer brand. After all is said and done, I think what happened was her and her husband were like shoe vendors. This would happen sometimes where people would buy shoes and they would deconstruct them and then like make their own shoes or something. Basically she walked around, pointed, I grabbed the shoe, she bought it. I remember everyone in the shoe department was like looking at me 'cause I was just ringing up this huge pile of shoes. That ended up being like a $4,000 sale. I was very busy getting them wrapped up. And then one of the most best things you could hear when you are working in shoes was, sin caja, sin caja pero con bolsa y no recibo. No boxes, no boxes meant there was no what is called a UII on it, which means there, they wouldn't return it. So it's like, not only did you sell the $4,000 worth of stuff, but also they're not gonna return it, 'cause at Nordstrom's, everyone loves to return things. So they would buy it and then return it like 6 months later. And then as a salesperson, you would still get hit with that commission, even though you did your job. Basically, it was a very good, it was like a very good flowy day. And I was in this vibration of abundance. And I remember cleaning up for the day. And then what I did is I go and you would check, you'd put your number into this like computer thing to see how much you sold for the day. And I remember doing it. And I'm not kidding when I say I did it right before I was leaving for the day. Almost didn't have time to check my number and it was $8,320. It was literally within $60 of that, of the exact number that I wrote on my mirror, which was an extreme stretch goal and extremely specific. Now the reason I'm sharing this story with you, one, this story kind of proved to me, oh, there's something to the law of attraction, or people could say it's confirmation bias or whatever. My thoughts, my emotions influenced what I experienced and I got a decent result. Now here is the key and here's the thing, this whole video, this message is going towards and it comes towards that of a Neville Goddard concept that has really been impacting me recently and I believe it's the missing key. It's the reason people are like, I wanna manifest winning the lottery and I don't think winning the lottery It explains why people don't win the lottery. Some people, I guess, say there are, Aaron, there are people that have won the lottery doing this, but maybe they use this energetic concept. Remind yourself and understand that you are a vessel. You are a vessel of energy. You are a vessel for the divine to flow through. When you have the intention of adding value to people, They can feel that off of you. When you have the intention of having an ego desire, I want to get, I want to get, I want to get, the energy is very constrictive and restrictive. So when I would go into that 9-to-5 job and my intention was adding value, increasing people's energetic state, letting go of outcome and being in the moment, I would do very good. When I would show my personality, when I had fun, I would do very good because it was elevating the vibration. When I went in and I was like, I'm going to sell this amount and it's very important and serious that I do it, and it's not focused on adding value to them, it's focused on what I can get, very constrictive energy. If I were to make a YouTube video, I was like, I want this video to get views, I really hope you'll watch it and then share it, and you could feel that crazy needy energy, then guess what? You're not gonna wanna watch it. More so I'm in the flow and I'm doing this to add value, you can feel that authenticity. But one of the things that I think is very important when it comes to YouTube, creating content, abundance, a job, is realizing you are a vessel for the divine to flow through. And the more value you wanna put out into the world, the more the universe sends you resources, synchronicities, and opportunities because it's almost like we live in this reality system where we're all one consciousness. So when you are adding value to other people that are also other aspects of yourself, this is why I think karma is such a thing. It's like what you put out is what you get back. I remember this person I used to work with, her name was Carmela at Nordstrom's. She would do this thing where she would compliment, the way she would pick up a customer is she would compliment them. Maybe you could say this is somewhat, I don't know, some people could say though, that's like the people pleasing or manipulative or whatever. But here's one interesting thing I noticed. She would compliment people and say, oh, I love your earrings. I love this, I love that. And then she would help them. And very often she would compliment people and other people that weren't the people she complimented, she would get so many compliments like from other people. And she was like this older lady that like was just, she was a sweet lady, but it was like, it was crazy how many compliments she would get. And she would put out a compliment to someone And then like an hour or two later, someone else would compliment her on something. She would just get all these compliments. And it was literally like, I remember seeing that and being like, wow, what she put out is what she get back. And then a couple times I tested that and I would just, I just tested that energy. I wanna compliment people or notice something, not in an inauthentic way where I'm like, hey, you look really nice today. And then I'm like, do you see what I'm wearing? Or like, do I look nice? More so like if I would just push myself that if I saw something I liked, I would just express it. And then other people, not even the people I was complimenting, would then do that like an hour later. I was like, maybe it's this thing in my field where because I'm putting out this energy, it's coming back to me, I don't know. But nonetheless, when you energetically make someone feel good, what if that's in your field and then someone else wants to make you feel good, even if it's a different person? But nonetheless, the energy you put out is what you get back because other people are other aspects of you. This is also a Neville Goddard concept called everyone is you pushed out. Not even everyone is you pushed out, literally everything is you pushed out because everything is a reflection of your mind, whatever you believe to be true, your relationship with yourself, your relationship with your childhood growing up many times too, because that filtered the reality of how we relate to other people. Our first relationship is normally with our parents. Interesting. I'm complimenting myself. That's interesting, Aaron. Am I getting any compliments? The water bottle's like, Aaron, you look great. But the main part of this video that's important to realize is you are a vessel. The reason I've been able to make videos since 2017 is not because the ego Aaron is so freaking cool. It is because I open myself up to the divine to flow through me in whatever concepts will add value to the collective. Now I'm not saying I'm special or you're any different. When you are in a flow state, when my tattoo artist, for example, is in a flow state, he is not the most spiritual person where it's like, he's, I'm like, you know, talking about spirituality. He is spiritual without being spiritual in a way. He's just in a flow. He is like, like he only does what he loves. He loves like flying helicopters. I took like a helicopter ride lesson with him. That was very interesting. Very, gotta really let go of control. And I actually flew the helicopter with him and it was like nerve-wracking but fun at the same time. He like on his off days, he flies helicopters and he's an instructor. And on his days that he works, he works 2 or 3 days a week, he does tattoos. He pretty much just does what he loves. And it's cool to see that energy. And even he has this perspective where he is like, well, I am at service to you, whatever you want me to do. He's got this great mentality where he just very much is of service to his clients. And he's very humble because of that. And I thought that was very interesting 'cause he has a very, you know, he has a big social media presence. He's helped a lot of like, celebrities and stuff like that, and he's just a very humble dude. Now, in the same way, the reason I'm sharing this is when it comes to my own YouTube channel and the energy, I remember I was talking to someone on a podcast, they're like, how do you stay humble? Well, first off, I'm not perfect, okay? I'm gonna say, like, even saying like, how are you so humble? It's like this ego, I'm special because I'm humble. I do believe though that like when people believe that, I believe that the gifts we have in the world, we have the more pure that we keep the energy. So for example, if I started to be like, I am Aaron Doughty, I am so special, I create the videos, it's not the divine that flows through me, it's me, it is the ego. And I started to like manipulate people in my life and I would manipulate situation, like if I started having that kind of energy, I believe that in a way the energy flow would get cut off. So it's like, it's not even like you could really take it that far. But the more there's this energy of letting the energy flow through and then wanting to add value, it's like the more ideas come to me, the more video topics come to me. Like before I start these YouTube videos, I don't even really have a title or anything I'm gonna talk about. I just start it and I go. Now I don't say that so you're like, Aaron, you're so special. I think everyone can do this. You watching this video right now, you can do this. Put yourself at service of something you're passionate about with the intention of adding value to other people. Show up consistently and the consistency will, like, it's almost like you proving to the universe that you're about it and then it'll give you more and more people to come your way, more and more ideas to share with those people. Like, it's very magical the way that it works. But the missing key, like why people don't always win the lottery is 'cause it's what can I get? Do you think the lottery is going to result in you living your life purpose? Like what if your life purpose, you were to see this timeline and it's like you go through some stuff and then you transform your identity and then you like work for things and then you like become this new version of yourself or you win the lottery and you win $100 million. Do you think if you win $100 million, you would still honestly, 'Cause you're like, no, Aaron, I would, I would still win the lottery and I would still go down my life purpose and learn everything I need to learn. Yeah, okay. For many people that would win the lot— what happens to 90, like 98% of people that win the lottery? They become addicted to drugs, addicted to alcohol, and they lose it all within 5 years. Why? 'Cause they're not vessels. They are vessels. Part of that God source energy. However, it's because they haven't become the person that could actually contain that energy, that amount of abundance, and it's identified to ego. It's all about the ego. What can I get? I got it. So the main lesson, the main part of this video that changes everything is when you realize you are a vessel for the divine, you are a part of source energy, God, the universe, whatever name you wanna give this, And when you begin connecting to that aspect of yourself and seeing how can you add value, it changes absolutely everything. Somebody commented on my Instagram story the other day, they're like, "How can I, I wanna monetize, I wanna monetize my passions," or something like that. And I said, "Instead of focusing on monetizing your passions, focus on the value you put out into the world because monetization, money is a side effect of the value." of the people you can help, of the way you could just be yourself. Even comedians, for example, they're funny, they make you laugh. And when you laugh, adds value, right? Doesn't have to be just some energetic exchange of like, of a very specific thing that you saw on Shark Tank. However, realize the more energy, the more you're in alignment with your purpose, the more you're following your passion, the higher frequency you're in, the more you add value, the more it comes back to you. That what you put out is what you get back. Every one is you pushed out. Not even that, everything is you pushed out. What are your beliefs about reality? What are your beliefs about manifestation? What are your beliefs about the value you can provide in the world? These are all things to look at that as you do will completely change your life. Now, if you haven't calibrated your vibration yet and got a meditation for your current level of consciousness, go to whatsmyvibration.com, download that meditation, listen for 21 days, watch how it changes your life.
