signs your second awakening is about to happen...

In this video Aaron Doughty explains what he calls the "second awakening," a shift beyond the initial spiritual awakening that moves a person from operating on autopilot and a spiritual ego toward a higher vibrational state of simply "being." He uses the metaphor of a dragonfly emerging from a tadpole to illustrate the transformation from a dark, conditioned existence to a luminous, effortless reality. Doughty contrasts the common focus on thoughts, having, and doing with the deeper practice of thinking less, raising one's vibration, and allowing divine flow. He outlines the progression from the "have" to the "do" to the "be" stages, discusses how spiritual ego can re‑emerge after the first awakening, and stresses the importance of integrating empathy, setting boundaries, and healing ancestral trauma—particularly through the lower three chakras. Personal anecdotes from his own 2012 awakening, a 2017 transition to full‑time YouTuber, and observations of others (e.g., Will Smith’s "cliff top" experience) illustrate the concepts. Practical recommendations include breathwork to elevate vibration, joining his free High Vibe Tribe ceremony, and embracing authenticity and vulnerability as ways to embody the second awakening.

If you can see this video, then it is very likely that your second awakening is about to happen. The second awakening has to do with you becoming aware that what you think, what you feel, and how you act has been on autopilot. And when you start to realize that the ego itself that you may have become aware of in the first awakening where you become aware that you're a spiritual being having a temporary human experience, this next awakening is a completely new reality. It's like you imagine the story of that of a dragonfly, which perfectly explains this entire story. The way a dragonfly becomes a dragonfly is you have these little tadpoles that they're at the very bottom of this lake. and they live for an extent, most of their life, they live under the surface of the water in the dark, eating plankton, eating different things that are floating around until one day it has this desire to go up, crawl itself up onto a leaf to where it's a completely new reality. And what happens is out of the liquid that is on the inside of this tadpole, it grows that of wings and the sun itself, the light itself transmutes that energy into that of a dragonfly to where which it grows wings and it is able to fly in a completely new reality. Now in a similar way, what happens when you go through your second awakening is you have that of a completely new reality to experience. It's more of a vibrational reality where you realize you don't have to control, you don't have to force, and in a way, you just embody the energy of what you want to experience. Now, this was an insight that came to me within the last 6 months that I had, and it's not just an insight, but it has to do with understanding vibration and how as you elevate your vibration, you experience new people in your life, new synchronicities in your life, new opportunities, and new level of abundance in your life. You only perceive that which you are the vibration of. Now, what most people think is they need to think more thoughts. If I think more thoughts and I think better thoughts, I'll attract better things into my life. The second awakening knows that that's not the game to play. That's still playing the game of in the murky water. You see, when you are the dragonfly and you realize you're a spiritual being, there is a second ego that is created. This happens very often. And for 2012, in me, I went through my awakening and I let go of the version of me that was the version of me that was coping, the version of me that was basically dependent on different things. And as I let go of that version of me, I then became a meditator. I became somebody that was in a couple, in a very short period of time, I became vegan and lost a whole bunch of weight. And people were like, what the hell's going on with Aaron? And I felt not understood. So what part of what I did is this spiritual ego crept in the back door and I then was a meditator. I would meditate every day. I was focused on what I wanted to create in my life. I had this energy of everyone else is asleep, but I am awake. And what happened is one of the fallbacks of the first spiritual awakening is that in its place of the old ego, the old version of me that was partying a lot, that was surrounding myself with bad habits. The new version of me had good habits, but nonetheless, a spiritual ego and was identified with thinking, I'm not gonna think bad thoughts, I'll think better thoughts. I'll meditate, but then I'll think of what I want. And in the level of consciousness of the first awakening, what we focus on is getting. We focus on achievement. We focus on channeling our thoughts and our energies and our intentions which isn't a bad thing. It's better than being in the murky water. However, a higher level of consciousness is when you start realizing that the key is actually to think less thoughts. Think about it, or don't, but thinking itself is a survival mechanism. When you are being, you aren't thinking. When I am making this video right now, I'm not thinking about what's the next thing I'm gonna say. I am in this energy allowing the divine to flow through. Everyone has this ability. I'm not saying I'm some special person 'cause I have a YouTube channel. I'm saying every single person has the ability to allow a divine energy to flow through them because it's who you naturally are to then express itself in whatever way feels most in alignment. So the interesting thing is that when you create from the mind, the mind is a survival mechanism. You think, you feel, you act equal to whatever the mind has programmed you to think as. We are all addicted to familiar thought patterns, familiar energy, and familiar people. So thinking in of itself, when you are being, you're not thinking. Thinking and overthinking especially is something we overly attach to to try to solve our problem, to get us to not feel certain emotions, to control our reality. You see, this is the basis of the second awakening. The second awakening is where you realize the key is to think less thoughts and then to instead of focus on the three levels There is the level of have, the level of do, the level of be. So you think of have, do, be. Most people are focused on having. They're focused on what they do or don't have. They want to get. Normally this is under the surface of the water, in the shadow of what we've been conditioned to believe we need. Then we may have our first awakening, move into do. Okay. I'm going to become this full-time YouTuber. I'm going to become this thing that I wanna create in my life. I'm gonna take action. It's focused on the action. I am what I do. Some people get caught up between the two because they're like, well, I don't wanna take action, man. I just wanna think about it. But there's a level above that where you actually don't think as much about it. It comes through and that's where You go from the have, the do, and the be. Now realize that in life, you get a reflection of who you are being. Now being is an end of itself. When you are being, you're not trying to escape the present moment, you're not trying to get somewhere else, you're not doing it for XYZ, it's who you choose to be. And in 2017, I started to be a full-time YouTuber. I gave myself permission to be it, I allowed the energy to flow through, I had an intention of adding value, And it was like the ideas came to me the more I stepped into it. It's like when you have the attention of allowing it to flow through you and you begin stepping into it, the divine sends you more and more of this energy to flow through you. But if you stop, it's like the ideas stop. It's like you must take the first step to then get more and more evidence and more and more energy around that. So the thing that you want to realize too is that in this level of the first awakening, it's very common as well to compare yourself to other people. This is when you may feel like the first awakening, you may feel like I'm kind of a lone hermit. People don't understand me. Afraid to express your gifts out in the world, afraid to express the weird esoteric things. In the second awakening, there's more of an understanding that you can accept this within yourself. You can accept that you're gonna be misunderstood by people. You're gonna accept that you might be and talk about some pretty weird things, and that's okay. The more you own it, the more that you're not attached to what other people think and feel. You could say that even though you are aware of the first awakening, that you're a spiritual being having a temporary human experience, and that maybe you have a better, more higher vibrational ego, but nonetheless another ego. And even in the top level, there's still a version of the ego, but your relationship with it is different. The ego in the second layer is like, this is who I am. I am higher vibrational than all this. I am awake. These people are asleep. There's a lot of spiritual grandiosity. When you move into the second awakening, you move into an energy where you are accepting of yourself and accepting of other people and not seeing it as some spiritual grandiosity. Because you see, spiritual grandiosity, when we say that we're a 7th dimensional Pleiadian from a different dimension and everyone else here is just sheeple, you wanna know what that communicates? Unprocessed shame. I'm broken, there's something wrong with me, and the way that I'm not gonna feel this shame is I'm gonna become this starseed that is extremely special and came here to save the planet. Understand everyone is an eternal spiritual being living a temporary human experience. And when we have that hierarchy type perspective, we separate ourselves from other aspects of ourself. We judge other aspects of ourself. So understand the more you integrate these parts of your ego inside of yourself, the more you will then perceive of a new reality because everybody else is just a reflection of your own energy. but when you judge other people, you also judge yourself. This is why becoming aware of the ego is so important and your relationship to it. See yourself more as a divine vessel for the energy to flow through you. You can still have a sense of autonomy, a sense of energy, like, yes, we're all one with each other, we're all one consciousness, but also individuation is a very important part of this process. Becoming aware of who you are, what your values are, this feeling, the separation between you and other people. Because ultimately as well, when you think about this in the form of the chakras, which is a system of energy that we all have, a lot of people may have had trauma in their past and their bottom 3 chakras may be blocked, the root chakra, the sacral chakra, the solar plexus. And what happens is they move out of the safety of these bottom 3 chakras into their third eye and they're able to energetically tune to everybody. This is where the starseed energy may come in. But see, the key is to bring it back down into your body, to feel the separation between you and other people. And as you do, you also start to separate yourself from the ancestral trauma. A lot of the energy we are dealing with, the patterns we're dealing with in our life are ancestral energy. They have been passed down to us waiting for us to break the cycle. A lot of the patterns I've had to deal with in my life have been unprocessed emotion and energy from dad and mom's side of the family. I don't blame them. They were doing the best that they could. However, there were certain energies that I had to process for me to transmute. I had to realize, oh, this pattern over here, this is something that I can learn the lesson of. And part of it for me was leaning into tension. Learning to lean into tension. So part of the second awakening was actually of, it was embracing the emotions I was avoiding in the first awakening. The first awakening, this is very common. People are empaths. They can feel everyone else's energy. They're in their third eye. They're like, I can't be around certain people because I'm so sensitive and they feel this way and they feel this way and they feel this way. And then who do I need to be to get to feel safe? And what happens is because of the sensitivity, they're able to tune to that. But in the second awakening, you realize that that is avoiding certain tension, that is trying to maybe fix other people. Think about it. It's a survival mechanism to develop the ability to tune to everyone in your environment to know, am I safe? Who do I need to be to get mom and dad's approval and validation? So that's when we may become a very sensitive empath. Now, feeling other people's energy is not bad. Empathy is a natural part of a healthy integrated being. It's when it's overly sensitive to where you feel like, who am I and who are you? And you feel responsible for other people's emotions and it's hard for you to set boundaries. That's when things become a challenge. So the lesson to move from the first awakening to the second awakening is for you to become aware of subject-object permanence, subject-object differentiation as well. So this is self versus other. If you see everyone else as self, what happens is you think that their emotions are your emotions. You feel responsible. What you can begin to do is to realize that someone else's things they're dealing with isn't your responsibility to fix. And when you then empower them, you're not fixing them anymore, you're not enabling them anymore, but you stop taking on the responsibility and the burden. And a lot of times we don't do that because we're avoiding tension. So for me, what this meant was starting to express the real me, starting to live according to the values of vulnerability and authenticity, Which meant in the moment, if there was an old part of me that was like, nope, I don't want people to see this part of myself, or I don't want them to feel tension, so I'll be this way. I say, no, no, no, I must express what's real for me. So this meant a couple years ago, really expressing brutally honestly to certain people how I really felt. And you wanna know what's interesting is as I did this, there was more respect. I started to realize there's more integrity within myself because I'm living according to my own values. I started to feel more confident inside of myself. So the first awakening, you become one with everything. You become aware of the spiritual dimension, the vibrational dimension of life. The second awakening is where you become aware of the ego construct that this is created from. You become aware that it's not about thinking better thoughts, it's about thinking less thoughts and becoming more present. And to realize that the things you think you want, the things you think you want to manifest that are gonna make you whole and complete, They're not. It's not about escaping to that moment to feel happy. It's about realizing it's all about being present to the moment and enjoying the journey along the way. I was watching a podcast the other day with Will Smith, actually, where he was talking about, these guys were asking Will Smith about like, what is it like to be able to buy what, I mean, he's worth hundreds of millions of dollars. What is it, and has all the fame in the world. What's it like to be able to buy whatever you want when you wanna do it? What is that like? And he was talking about how like once you get everything and you can do anything and you have all the validation, all the approval in the world, you realize that that's not it. It doesn't bring you happiness and you go into a very dark place. He said that there's like rock bottom and he said, he called it cliff top. Cliff top is where you're like at this very top level of peak, but it's kind of depressing. And it might be like, it might be where you realize that like you're at the very peak, but there's like nowhere else to go. No other thing is gonna bring you more happiness, no other thing you're gonna buy, no other house. It's kind of a depressing state, but that's because it's not about things. It's not about the lower level of having or even doing, it's about being. And when you're being and allowing the divine to flow through you with a bigger purpose, you love your life. I feel so fulfilled with what I do and who I am because I love being able to add value. I love being able to make these videos. I love being able to do, run live events. But let the energy flow through you and don't believe that some end result's gonna get you somewhere else. So your second awakening is happening, I believe, if you're watching this video, maybe you're starting to have these little awarenesses. And one thing that you could do is begin to let go of what no longer serves you. Let go of the old ego construct. A huge way of processing all of this is to elevate your vibration through, I believe, breathwork, breathing and releasing the energy in your nervous system that has been acquired for so long. I have a free breathwork ceremony in High Vibe Tribe, a free community that you can listen to. It's pinned at the top of the classroom section. It's a 2-hour-long ceremony. I got, it was such a powerful process, I got certified in it and I do it at all my live events and live online workshops, like challenges. So if you wanna join that, you can do so for free. I'll go ahead and link it below. And if you wanna learn more about the second awakening, I have another video that will explain this a little bit further and you can watch it right here. What if the less you think, the happier you are, and the more you think,
