take them off a pedestal.

Aaron Doughty explains how overvaluing people or goals creates an energetic block that prevents them from coming to you. He shares stories about house hunting in Las Vegas and YouTube growth, showing how letting go of importance actually speeds up results. The fix: change your self-image and stop signaling unworthiness.

If you want to increase your attraction level with how you come off to other people, if you want to allow things to become easier than ever, then this video can change your life. I'm going to show you step by step how to take them off of a pedestal, understanding how to start to see yourself in a higher level light so that you attract other things into your life so that they are just natural for you. You don't have to try hard, you don't have to create resistance, and this kind of energy is magnetic and will completely transform your life. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now on this video, I'm going to show you one of, I would say, the most powerful ideas I've ever come to understand that's like not necessarily in the mainstream. Now what I mean by mainstream is like, it's not like you're reading The Secret and it talks about necessarily, or a lot of these, um, I don't know, different documentaries, different things that talk about metaphysics and how reality works and how you can like, you know, harness your energy or change your energy to change your life, they don't necessarily talk about this idea, but it's been a game changer for me. Anytime that I felt myself putting something on a pedestal, which means what I'm doing is I'm making something very important, and anytime you make something very important, what you are doing is creating resistance around it. And as you create resistance around this thing, it then creates blocks in your life. It then creates some type of obstacle or challenges along the way. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. And you'll notice this when attracting love. Think about it. Have you ever been really hoping something goes well with someone you go on a date on? And then what happens is you put them on a pedestal, they can feel that resistance, and then they either become uninterested or just you say the wrong things and you're worried about it, you're trying to control it. Well, that's because you put them on a pedestal. You made them important. That created resistance and that lowered the level of attraction they had for you because what that was signaling to them is, hey, this, it's not natural for this person to be talking like someone like me. There must be something off with this person. Maybe they're used to dating people that are different. It's this subcommunication that happens when you do that. Now this does, this just doesn't work towards love. It works towards everything. Recently when I got into this house, many of you may know the story if you've heard my other YouTube videos about this, but, uh, this house, for example, I was in Vegas and now more than ever the housing market, the rental housing market in Vegas is like quicker than ever. Houses are just going in minutes. And about a year ago, no, like back in January, I got back from 3 months of travel. I was in Tulum for a month, Costa Rica for a couple months, and And then I finally got back to the States and I was like, okay, I need to get into a house. So what I did is I had a certain price range. I wanted to upgrade from the last house that I was at. So I got online and I had a real estate agent helping me and there were literally like 12 houses in that price range. I'm like, wow, I have 12 houses in all of Las Vegas to go look at. So I go look at one house. It just didn't look like it did in pictures. I went to another house and the guy, the people that own the house were like really weird. They wanted to like, They were like complete control freaks. They wanted to know everything that was going on about the house and they wanted to meet me to make sure that I was good enough to live in their house. And they're asking me questions about what I did. And then they told me they were like best friends with the neighbors, that the neighbors are always gonna be checking in on me. And I'm like, whoa, this sounds— And it was like, they were really overpricing their house as well. They increased the price to a crazy amount that wasn't worth. And I was like, eh, you know that, I was like, put that on the back burner. And then I found this house and I was like, you know what, I'm gonna go see this house. Here's the thing. This house wasn't available till February, and I was looking in January. That's why I didn't even think about this house. So what I did is I was like, you know, I'll go see the house. So I came here, I saw the house, and right when I got out, I was like, wow, I really— this house looks way better in person than it does in photos. Even when you look behind me right now, it looks like what it looks cool, but even in person, it's even better. It's better quality stuff. I was like, man, this house is such an open floor plan. It's like in a really protected, guarded, gated neighborhood, which is really good. Really nice pool. Like it was just, it was amazing. Now when I came in though, the guy that was living in the house, he was getting ready to move out with his wife and kid I think. And he was a magician on the Strip. He's actually a well-known magician on the Strip, which I thought was actually kind of cool. Really interesting guy. And then what happened is I was like, okay, you know, I'll take it in February and I'll just guess, I'll just kind of wait until then. You know, I'll stay in this. I was at the Palms Place in Vegas and I was like, I'll wait. And then what I did is I, I realized, you know what, this is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna set the intention that I move in earlier. So every night as I went to bed, what I did is I would put my hands over my heart and I would imagine me actually being in that house, this house. I would imagine myself as if, cause I knew the layout cause I already walked through it. I imagined myself in the master bedroom getting up and imagining the layout of where the bathroom is, where the door is, where the balcony is. And I imagined all this stuff, but what I did is I let go of it being important because what I realized is that a couple days of me thinking about it, I was like, I really want it, I really want it to like happen quicker, blah, blah, blah. I was putting it on a pedestal, create resistance. So I said, you know what, I'm gonna let it go and I'm gonna see it as natural. I'm gonna trust, I'm gonna also trust the universe to just figure it out. So by taking it off a pedestal, what ended up happening as I talked to the guy that was living in the house, that was renting the house, he said, you know what, You're at the pawn place. I bet you wanna get into this house sooner. I was like, yeah, I do. He goes, you know what? I'll be out in 3 days. He literally got a moving truck, got all this stuff out 'cause he was like, mm, he was pretty baller because this is like one of his third houses or something like that. He moved everything out of the house and I was in on January 1st when I was supposed to be in on February 3rd because I took it off of a pedestal. So anything you take off a pedestal, you release resistance about. And when you release resistance about it, you allow it to come into your life even more magically. Now imagine this, imagine, you know, we always think about it in terms of, you know, us chasing that thing, or is anything you chase, you create resistance around and you're saying, and you're implying that thing is running. Now imagine if the things that you want are doing everything they can to get to you. They want to get to you. This person that you want to attract into your life, they want you. But the key is that you gotta be you and you gotta be in your own frame and you gotta not be making them important. If you create importance with them, you're creating a, You're like putting a wall right there and they're like, oh man, I really wanna like this person. I really wanna date this person. But there's this like energetic wall. It's because you're putting them on a pedestal and they're feeling that. So the key is realizing anytime you put someone on a pedestal, say this is you, that's them. It's like, oh, come to me, come to me. But what happens is then you're making them the star of your movie. They then treat you like a cameo. And when they're treating you like a cameo, that's the energy dynamic to where then they're not gonna be as attracted to you. And what this is also saying is it's saying that they are better than you. They have the halo effect. They're some special snowflake. The key is understanding that you're saying it's not natural for you to be talking to them at the same level, and they subcommunicate, can feel that. So it's not natural for you is what you are vibrationally saying. So taking them off a pedestal is about realizing that putting them on the pedestal in the first place is actually hurting you. When you were putting them on a pedestal, there was this payoff that you thought you were getting. You thought by putting them on a pedestal, it would make you feel closer to them. It would make them feel more special, like a special little snowflake. But by you putting them on pedestal, you then made it weird for them. So the key is to not make it weird, to take them off the pedestal, to see it as natural. I used to know this guy that I used to work with. He would date the most gorgeous, like, model woman, and you would look at him and everyone else would look at him and be like, how are you doing this? He wasn't necessarily like Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio, but he just saw it as natural for himself. He was just the cool, funny guy. He just had great energy. It's not about looks. Looks are the surface. It's about energy. But he saw it as natural. You could look at somebody that was very attractive that wouldn't see themselves like that, and it's like they would put them on a pedestal. It's because of energy. It's because of how they think about themselves. It's all an inner game. Now, all of this is rooted in one belief. If you're putting someone on a pedestal, it's the belief that I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy and they are better than me. The key to this is become aware. This is the enemy here. This belief, you know, see how lie, L-I-E, is underlined underneath? 'Cause it is a lie. You believe you're not worthy. And because you believe you're not worthy, you could take this person that you like and you put them on a pedestal. And then they feel that resistance. They're looking down at you and you're like, hey, you wanna go out with me? You're a special snowflake. Special snowflake? No. The key is take them off the pedestal. Come on down. Look, now we're on the same level. I'm the star of my movie. I'm just having a good old time. And now look, it's more, now I'm more attractive. You see, that's how the energy dynamic is at play. You gotta let go of the belief, I'm not worthy. How do you do that? You become aware of that belief. You become aware of that story. You become aware of when in the past did you decide you're not worthy? Was it from your parents? Was it from something growing up? Was it from your first boyfriend or girlfriend? And as you become aware of that, you then start to shine light on the shadow and you start to let it go. I've realized this in my life with even YouTube. I remember there was a time when I was putting like, I gotta get more, I gotta grow the YouTube channel, I gotta get to this number, there's a specific number I gotta get to. And what I did is I was implying that resistance, I was putting it on a pedestal and then I'm like creating videos and you could see that I'm like going for views or something. The energy gets all messed up. But when I let go of that, it's like, you know what, I'm just gonna make videos I wanna make. I'm not gonna care what people think. I'm just gonna do, I'm just gonna express myself authentically. That's when amazing results happen because there's a release of resistance and importance. Anything you make important, you are saying it is not natural for you. The key is to link up your self-image to the same level. Link up your self-image, make it natural for you. I made it natural for me to wake up in this house and walk around and make a video in the exact spot I am now. I linked up my self-image and saw it as natural for me. When it comes to you dating, if you put people on a pedestal, see it as natural for you to date beautiful people with great personalities. It is natural for you. You're a great catch. You are an amazing, you have an amazing energy. You're going through this spiritual awakening content, you're learning more about yourself. You're going through that and doing the inner work. Not a lot of people are doing the inner work in the world. You're doing it. That makes you extraordinarily attractive to the right person. So tap into that level of attraction within yourself with that awareness. Make it natural for yourself. See it as natural part of your self-image and then release the old story. When you let go of the old story that you're not worthy, that you're not equal to the person that you're putting on a pedestal, realize all you gotta do is release the old story. Even the story about them. What's the story about them? They're a special snowflake. They've got all these personality things that I love. They're just, when you start dating someone, by the way, you see them through a lens of like perfection. They're just perfect. And after 3 months when the halo effect wears off, you're like, whoa, I didn't know they had this weird quirk and this and this. You did, you just didn't look at it because you were so much in the vibe of that high of being first like dating someone. So anytime you are dating someone, you put them on a pedestal, you're making them important, they're feeling that resistance. I'm not gonna be cocky about this, but because my channel has grown, I go out in public sometimes and I meet people that know who I am. And I'll tell you what, if it's somebody that comes up to me and they're just really cool and they treat me like a person, it's awesome. It's freaking cool. I love meeting people. But sometimes there's a pattern when I meet people. They're like, oh my god, Aaron Doughty! Oh, I knew I was gonna run into you. It's so secret. Let's take a picture. Let's do this. Let's do that. It's all meant to be, 11:11. It's like, it's like, okay, but I've been put on a pedestal and I'm now not able to be my authentic self. I feel like there's all this resistance and importance put around me, and it's almost like people expect me to like bust out of the back and be like, yo, my name's Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness, and I'm gonna sit there and make a video for them and then give them life advice and then help them with whatever. I'm— dude, I'm just in Whole Foods, bro. I'm just getting some food. So take me off a pedestal so I can be more natural when I talk to you. That's what I, that's what everyone you're dating is saying too. Like, just take me off my pedestal. See it as natural. Just please don't be weird. Just be normal. So this is, this is the key. Now making it natural is about changing your self-image. I have one of the most powerful meditations I've ever made for changing the self-image and it'll help you transform.
