The #1 Secret to Vibrational Resonance

In this video Aaron Doughty explains that the key to achieving vibrational resonance with the reality you desire is mastering the art of "decreasing importance" – essentially becoming a "master of importance". He argues that when we place excessive importance on something, we emit desperate, resistant energy that pushes the desired outcome away. Using everyday metaphors such as dating dynamics, cat versus dog behavior, and house‑hunting experiences, he illustrates how over‑valuing a person, object, or goal creates ego‑driven resistance. Aaron suggests that by adopting a cat‑like attitude – indifferent, self‑sufficient, and confident that you are already whole – you can lower importance, trust the process, and allow the universe to bring the desired outcome naturally. He shares practical mental shifts (seeing yourself as a 10/10, recognizing the two‑sided nature of any desire, trusting that you are "good either way"), references a Tony Robbins insight about the fleeting happiness after goal achievement, and promotes a specific guided meditation (Process Reality Transurfing: Decreasing Importance) to reinforce the practice. The overall message is that decreasing importance reduces resistance, aligns vibration with intention, and leads to effortless manifestation.

This video, I'm going to show you how to become a master of importance, or in a way you could say a master of decreasing importance, and how this is the key to vibrational resonance with the reality you want to experience. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'm going to be sharing with you more about the energy dynamic between what you want to experience in your life, what you want, and what you are are vibrationally putting out because many times they're two different things when we are putting certain things into different categories of importance. And have you ever felt that in your life? Maybe you felt like before there was something you really, really wanted and the more you wanted it, in a way you were getting a reflection back of not having it because of that, in a way, many times desperate energy, desperate energy of, of putting that out there of I really want it, which remember, Anytime you really want something, you are vibrationally saying, I really don't have it. Because if you had it, you wouldn't want it because it would be a natural part of your vibration. Now, I remember this, especially back in like high school. If I really liked a girl, I would be thinking about her and I would, you know, want to call her or— and the more I would put her on a pedestal in my mind, then when I would go to school the next day and I'd be around her, there'd be like this energy of like, You know, she doesn't know how much I like her. And then what I would find out shortly after that is that that energy was very repelling. So what you eventually learn, it's almost like why all, you know, that, that saying like girls like the bad guy or however, you know, 2020 now almost. Um, but you know how they say that it's like, oh, like there's that, the archetype of the bad guy, like the guy that wears the, uh, the black jacket and walks around all cool, doesn't really care, doesn't really care about anything. And then it's It's like people are attracted to that. Well, the idea behind that is when you don't care about it in a way, you're not making it important. And many times, even think about it in the dating world. If somebody, if a, let's say a certain type of girl who's used to, or a guy, either way, that's used to a lot of people coming up to them and being like, you're so cool. Oh my goodness, you're so amazing. Why don't you just do this? Go out with me or something like that. That's a desperate energy. And in a way, even they could vibrationally feel that. It's putting them on a pedestal. They don't enjoy that. Maybe the first couple of times they enjoy it, but after that, it just gets annoying. The idea then is who can be the most natural around me? And the person that's the most natural is gonna be the one that they wanna go out with. Who's the most natural? It's natural for them to be talking to them. It's not on a pedestal, 'cause otherwise there's not that resistant energy going out that's very unattractive. Now I know we're talking about that mainly I'm using the metaphor of the whole dating world because many of us probably have experienced that at some level before, really liking somebody, then feeling that resistance and absolutely repelling them. And this is why many times as well, energetically, have you seen it to where like maybe a boyfriend-girlfriend breakup or a boyfriend-boyfriend breakup or a girlfriend-girlfriend breakup? And when they break up, what happens is one of them is very sad about it, thinking about the other one a lot. And then the other one's like, I'm just going to do my thing over here. Maybe they're not even really talking. Maybe this one's trying to talk to this one a lot, but this one doesn't want anything to do with this one because it wants to just be single and stuff. Well, guess what happens? Then this one goes out with their friends and eventually is like opening up and starting to forget about this one. And then this one can feel that this one's not thinking about them even longer. They haven't been putting them on a pedestal in their mind. And then they're like, hey, what's going on over here? Happens all the time because they can feel that energetic pull going away. That importance being taken off. So now the key to understanding this is I'm going to share with you some practical tools and techniques for becoming a master of importance. And in a way, also think of it like a cat. A cat is a master of importance. Cats don't care. You could, you could have a cat that walks around and it does not care about your attention. Sometimes it might enjoy your attention, but it doesn't really care about what you do and, and, um, and what you want it to do especially. You might want the cat to go do over there. It don't care what you want it to do. Some cats I think are in a way domesticated and I have a, my dad has a cat that is like a dog, literally like a dog. And that's 'cause it's also a cat that's around 4 other dogs. But, or 3 or 4 dogs. But the idea is that a normal cat normally does not have any, does not put any importance onto anything. It just kinda walks around, It does its thing. You could leave for like 2 weeks and it would be totally fine. Most of them, maybe some that were certain type of domestication, but the idea is that cats are just neutral. Now you could say, you know, this doesn't mean not having emotion because I think cats can still be loving and you can still, you know, have an emotional bond with cats. But what I mean by this is cats are masters at importance. They don't really care. Whether you're here or there doing this or what you think about them. And because of that, they have that freedom. They truly are really free. Dogs, on the other hand, dogs will— they want your attention. They emotionally— they're different in that way. They do put importance. You're their world to them. Dogs, you'll leave for 5 minutes and there'll be some dogs— I had a roommate one time, his dog, anytime he left, the dog would screech nonstop for like for like hours and it's this little animal and you're like, how is it screeching for 9 hours straight? Well, it just has such an emotional bond to its owner that it would just sit there and cry and it was, and it was probably, that wouldn't, that was a needy bond. You see, that was like the opposite of that of a cat. That was like a needy, desperate bond where it couldn't even be okay for 2, 3 hours while he went away to a hockey game. So that is the idea behind this. Now, which way would you rather manifest? Would you rather manifest like a dog where you really needy and you really want the attention, or would you rather be more of a master of importance? Cats still get what they want. Cats still get what they want. They still get the food. They still, you know, they have ultimate freedom too. A lot of times they can leave you. You would trust a cat to leave in the backyard and come back, and even if it leaves the property, it still comes back. There's that level of freedom that cats have. So I know this is just a metaphor, but let's go into the deeper part of this now and understand this, because if there's anything you really, really want, you are vibrationally resisting having it. So the key to this is understanding your energy dynamic, which is where you currently are, and where in your mind you haven't linked up your self-image. You see, that's the thing. What you are— okay, so, so for example, if there's a really attractive guy or girl that on a scale of 1 to 10 you would say is like a 10 out of 10, exactly what you would want, right? I mean, it's not good to put labels on this stuff, but this is the analogy. If you approach them and you think of yourself as a 5 and them as a 10, that energy dynamic will put up resistance. But if you were to approach them knowing that you're a 10, now I'm not even talking about looks, by the way, I'm talking about personality, I'm talking about self-worth, I'm talking about feeling like unconditional love about yourself. And if you approach them knowing, and in a way there's two ways to do this. What you could do is first off, this scale system, I know it's not the most ideal that you wanna use it, but the idea is that you could see yourself as a 10 out of 10, is that when you approach someone else that in your mind you're like, this person's the best thing that I've ever seen or been around in my life, then it's like you're meeting at equal. The other thing you could do is realize that in a way, everybody, everybody has, it's like what you think of somebody and when you put them in your mind as a 10, they're still, everyone's human. Doesn't mean you think less of them, it just means you go in it knowing that everyone is still human. So there's gonna be sides of somebody that may be the most beautiful, best personality that you can imagine, there'll be a side to it that's not as glorified and amplified in your own mind. Now, does it make— mean you think of them less or anything? It means that you think of it more as natural. You think of it more as natural. You realize the two facets of the coin. You realize that even though someone may be so beautiful and have such a great personality, there's going to be sides that balance it out. And what I mean is maybe certain personality quirks. You never know. You don't know on the surface, but Knowing that makes it a little bit easier because when you realize that, then it's like you're not putting them on a pedestal in your mind. But first you fill up your own cup. You view of yourself as this metaphorical 10, you see. So same thing, say you wanna manifest a, you know, here's something I've been doing recently is I've been looking at houses and I think I've picked the house I'm going to. You'll see it in like a month. I can't move into this house for like a month because there's, I mean, I'm only renting, but there's this house in Vegas. I've looked at like 7, 5, 4 to 6 houses. I don't even know. 4 to 6 houses I've looked at. And I realized that the more I really, really want a house, there's like one house I looked at yesterday, I'm like, wow, I really, really want that. And there was another house that I really, really want as well. I really liked both. But what I realized is that even though I really, really liked them on paper and I saw the pictures of them, when I went to go see the house, then I realized that double-sided coin. And even though in my mind I was glorifying it, this one house I was looking through was amazing, very beautiful, very open. But when I went in, it was a little bit cold. It was a very big house too. It was way too big for where I'm at. It's just me living in the house. I don't need, you know, a lot, that many square feet. However, this house I looked at was just ginormous, would have been a huge AC bill. Um, it was, uh, it was beautiful though. It was like so nice. It was like so open. I was thinking I could do events there, had an amazing pool in the backyard. I had a theater room that was really cool that almost I was going to turn into my office. Um, but there were way too many bedrooms. I was like, what? Okay, one meditation room, one this, one that, and it's too much space. I feel kind of lonely walking around. I'd be like, oh look, look at all this space, but what am I gonna do? So even though I looked at it in my mind, I was like, this could be amazing, there's two facet side to it, you know? And when you realize that, and here's the thing too, I realized I was good either way. Whether I go with this house or not, I'm gonna find that I trusted in the universe. I trust in the process of the abundance. And having that trust knows I'm going to find something else. So really, importance is as well is about trusting the process, knowing that you will get— if you set your intention on something, and I already intended to find the perfect house for me, that it will come about and I need to trust that process. Now, that house I looked at yesterday, I also have another house that I've actually already been approved for and everything. I put down the deposit. I just haven't signed the lease yet, so I'm not contractually obligated to it yet because I actually haven't even seen the house yet. I saw the house and I was like, I know I want this house. And I just already applied, got approved and everything. And I go see the house today actually. So I'll show you how that goes. However, it's— what I realized was even if for some reason this house fell through, because I got to wait a month to move. So even though it's a beautiful house, this other house, it's in the perfect location. There's so many things that are right about it. I got to wait till February 3rd to move in. And right now it is December, you know, 20-something. I got to wait over a month. Because the tenant in it still has like a month left on their contract. I don't know why they put it on the thing, like the MLS thing, so, you know, a month and a half in advance, but they did. But it's a really nice house and I like it. However, the point is I need to focus that I'm good either way, whether the house goes through or not, because I can trust that process. Now, importance comes from the ego trying to control things and the ego comparing itself. So the ego's like, that's very, very important. And the ego is also saying, I'm not, I'm not at that level already. But if instead you realize that you are, you are 100% whole and complete, and you realize you're good either way. That's what something I had to realize even with this house hunting. Even when I remember when I first, uh, there's times when I get into a relationship that the first like couple months I realized that I really like, I, I'm a kind of person that when I do something, I'm decisive and I do it. Like with YouTube, I decided I'm going to make daily videos on YouTube and I do it every single day for 3 years. I do it. That's kind of my personality. But even in a relationship, it's like, okay, we're going to be together. I'm just, I'm there, you know what I mean? And in my mind, sometimes I can end up resisting and kind of putting the relationship on a pedestal, hoping everything goes away. My ego likes to control things. Sometimes I have a fight. I'm like a control freak with certain things. And the more I become aware of it, and I think it's because I've gotten myself to a certain level of success by controlling my willpower. So that's how I also do other things in my life, not knowing that I can also trust the process, trust it to organically unfold. And the more you realize you're good either way is the more you are more like a cat. If you want to be more like a cat, realize you're good either way. Whether you do this or whether you do that. If the owner— if the owner of a cat goes or leaves, it don't care. And if you are good either way, doesn't mean you don't have any emotion. It just means you trust the universe and you know that you're okay one way or the other. If I don't get this house or this house or whatever it is, I know that the perfect house will become available. The perfect house will be in front of me. And when it does come though, then I go for it. Doesn't mean I'm like, oh, whatever, it'll be there in like 3 months. There's there's an understanding that you can trust the process. You have a certain vision for the direction you're going in and that you're good either way. Make sure that I shared everything that I wanted to. And they say in general, I was at a Tony Robbins conference the other day. This little poster board right over here is from, you know, this thing that we make going to Tony Robbins. And, uh, there's a saying in this that he talks about. He says, when you achieve a goal, how long do you think you feel happy? And he had everyone raise their hand. Like 6 months, 5 months, 4 months, 3 months, 3 weeks. Like it turns out that when you achieve a goal, and I know this from experience, when I was like, oh, you know, we just hit 800,000 on YouTube. It's a great accomplishment. I'm very happy. I'm very excited to have all of you here. However, in the mind it's like, that would be so amazing. But when it comes, it's just natural, you see. And maybe it feels cool for an hour or two, but then eventually the mind looks for more. The lines are looking for other things to do. Now the key is, is knowing that when you hit a goal, you— what was generally decided in the audience of 5,000 people is that when you hit a goal, somewhere between 3 hours and 3 weeks is how often you feel that accomplishment of that goal. That's it. So when you talk about importance, you talk about if I were to move in this most amazing house, I'll move in the most amazing house, and guess what? After 3 weeks, it'll become natural. I'll be in my new daily routine. It'll maybe very comfortable place, but it will be natural. You see? So, um, you get into a new relationship, it's amazing, but then guess what? There's certain things that come up that make it natural. It doesn't mean it's bad. It just makes it, makes it more natural. So be more like a cat and realize it can be natural. Now I do have a meditation as well that is on the Process Reality Transurfing. It's on decreasing importance. It will show you and help you to make your vision natural for you, to make it something that vibrationally resonates. It's a very powerful meditation. It's actually the one when I first met my assistant, he told me, he's like, the most powerful meditation I've done of yours is the Decreasing Importance with the visual where I'm in the living room. And I'm like, oh, that's so cool. So it's in the top description box below. Listen to it for 21 days. Watch how it changes your life. Other than that, be like a cat. Peace, much love, and namaste.
