The 3 Habits You Simply MUST DEVELOP...

In this motivational video, Aaron Doughty explains how daily habits shape identity and reality, and how deliberately changing a single habit can attract wealth, love, and success. He shares his personal transformation from a 9‑to‑5 job and reliance on Adderall to a life of meditation, daily YouTube video creation, and a thriving mindset. Key concepts include: habits forming identity; the power of consistent daily actions; reframing pain and pleasure to make habits easier; raising one’s vibration through neutrality, observation, and willingness; the "extra mile" habit of adding value to others; and practical identity‑stretch exercises such as the 21‑day Magnetic Love Challenge. Doughty provides step‑by‑step advice—meditate 10‑15 minutes twice daily, reassign pleasure/pain to desired habits, go beyond expectations in work and relationships, and continuously act in alignment with a newly chosen self‑image. The overarching message is that by consciously choosing and repeatedly performing a habit that aligns with one’s passion, the self‑image rewires, leading to compounded results in money, love, and success.

There's one habit that if you do will easily attract to you money, love, and success. And when I started to apply it, everything in my life changed. And in this video, I'm going to show you exactly how to do that. Now first off, let me tell you that there are 2 or 3 things that when I applied in my life changed everything about me. And let me share with you why it changed everything and how you can apply this in your life. So first off, what you habitually do every single day becomes who you are. It becomes a pattern, and then reality is a reflection of that way you are being. Now here's the important thing that a lot of people don't know about habits is the habits that you do consistently forms what is called your identity. So maybe you've heard me say before that Your reality, you get in life a reflection of who you are being. You don't always get what you want because sometimes what you want, you feel lack of and you resist it, but you always get a reflection of who you are being. Now, who you are being, the identity is formed from habit. They say that a lot of our identity as well as formed by our subconscious mind, which is something that has been on repetition. So when I was looking at my old life, for example, my old life so long ago, it was like 3 years ago, I was working a 9 to 5 job that I wasn't passionate about. I went into work every day. I had a habit of, uh, of thinking negatively about work. I'd go in and really resist it. Um, I had a habit years ago of, um, I mean you could say it was a habit. It was a habit of taking something called Adderall. Which is what I would take for having ADHD, what they call ADHD. And that was like a pharmaceutical thing I was prescribed, but that was something that I was taking. And let me say as well, believing that I had ADHD and taking Adderall, that started to form my identity. People would say things about my energy and how much energy I had or how my energy was sporadic. And then I would feel like there was something wrong with me. So that is not just the habit of what you do, but it's also the habit of thought that you have about it. And sometimes when we have these disorders, we may assume that this is very negative and then feel that negative emotion about it. If I look to, if I look through, there were many habits of thoughts I used to have about feeling unworthy due to my past. You probably, I mean, I've talked about that in a lot of videos, but just in general, I wanted to show you that the habits you consistently do form your reality. My reality was exactly equal to the habits that I had. Then there was a huge transition for me. So the transition was that one thing I did with the whole Adderall thing, taking Adderall, having ADHD, is I started to meditate. I came across meditation, the research of it, because I was experiencing the harsh side effects of taking Adderall. Like you can't sleep very much, you can't eat very much. And I was like, oh, this is— I don't— I want to be able to like eat and sleep, you know, the bare necessities. So I was, uh, I was reading online about how powerful meditation is and I came across research on it. I said, you know what, I'm going to try this.
Is.
Now here's the thing. The first couple days of meditating, nothing really happened. I was, uh, I actually felt a lot of resistance, but then eventually what I did is I started to relax into it. Instead of trying to control my thoughts, I started observing my thoughts. Then I started to get a good result from it. After 2 or 3 days, I started to feel very different. So what happened is, is I gave up that habit of doing Adderall, which is what I believed. I believe that I needed it because doctor, doctor told me that I did and that it would help. So I took it. Then what I did is I changed. I started to meditate and after about a week I decided to do it every single day. I started to get great results from it and I was like, I started feeling different. I said, okay, I'm going to start meditating now. Over the course of a month or two of doing it, guess what happened? My self-image changed. Almost everything about my life changed. My energy changed. People would ask me what I was doing at work because, uh, you know, my energy was so different. I was much more calm. I was much more grounded. And that changed my identity. Then I looked to even my old— I used to see myself as a 9-to-5er going to a job that I didn't really care for. Then what I did is I decided, okay, every single day I'm going to create a video. You know the story. And then eventually after about 3 weeks of doing that, a video went viral and then the YouTube channel started to explode. And more so powerful than just making the daily videos and like the YouTube algorithm going, going crazy is that making the daily videos for me changed my identity. It changed who I was being in reality. And here's the thing about habits. The more you do your habits, more you have a habit that changes your identity, the more it changes your life. So here's the cool thing too. It doesn't have to be some crazy hard habit. It could be something very easy. And over time, think about it. You do something in a 24-hour period in a day and then you do it tomorrow and then you do it the next day. There's not great results. Until a little bit down the road when then you see everything about your life has changed. It's one habit that changes everything. That's what this video is about. I attracted money, love, and success into my life by doing one thing every day. What was that thing? For me, it was doing what I'm passionate about. And the reason the one habit that you must do, or, you know, for the— to get and attract money, love, and success. It will change upon each person. What if your passion is creating that of art? Then maybe the thing for you is if you were to create art every single day, you would then find that things in your life begin to happen in an explosion. The other things begin to happen. Now here's the thing too. Get down to the core of the kind of way that you could maybe challenge the current way you are, because the current habits you have are very comfortable. And when you decide to challenge that by doing something your old identity would never do, that's where things change. I was resistant to meditation in the beginning. I'm like, I'm not one of those people that meditate. You know, it looks like a lot of people that meditated, like they may have not like drank or done, you're like smoked or done any, done stuff like that. I was like that. They look square and boring. I want nothing to do with that. I was like, you know what, I'm going to do this meditation thing because there's science that shows how powerful it is. So I decided to do it and guess what? It began to change my identity. You know, I think, I think it's an, it's, it's an interesting thing when people do yoga also, when people do yoga, like especially people that end up maybe going from not doing it at all to doing it like every day. Like when you go to a Bikram yoga class, they'll tell you, oh, you got to come every day for a week or something. Like they try to like, you know, motivates you to come every day for a while to really see the benefits. What happens is a lot of people will go and then they may keep going. It begins to change their identity. They become like a yogi person. They see themselves as a person with like the mat, that they carry the mat and then they go to the yoga class. You know, there's a place here in Vegas that's like a life— I think it's called True Fusion. It's like a lifestyle. It's like a lifestyle. They have yoga and these boot camp classes and stuff, but it's like trendy and hip and music. It's an identity thing. And when people go consistently, instantly they start to see themselves differently. So the key to this is understanding that one habit— there's one habit that you can do every single day that would begin to change your self-image. And for me, even now, like, look at— and this is what you do— you look at how you are being. What are you consistently doing right now? And be honest with yourself. Become aware of some of the habits you have, and then realize that there's probably one habit you have that's keeping you in a certain reality. Maybe it's a certain way you're thinking about something. It's something that you're doing every day. A lot of times doing has a very powerful effect on our identity, sometimes even more powerful than just thinking. Because doing, it's actually wired it into physical reality. But be aware of maybe one habit that you can just decide, this is not who I am anymore. So what I do, it's not, it's not even just what, not what I do anymore. It's not who I am anymore. The one of the human, like the biggest human desires there is is to remain consistent to the way that we see ourselves. And for example, if you were to go over here, you may have heard this analogy before, but this is like a thermometer right here. And if I have this set right here, it is set at 69 degrees. If I were to move this up to, let's say, 74 degrees, what would happen is the AC would— the heater would actually kick on because it's cold here in Vegas right now, and it would regulate it up to 74. And then if the windows or the doors opened or something and it went down to 72, the heater would kick on and bring it back up. Cybernetic mechanism. It will do everything it can to remain consistent to what you set it at. The same with our self-image. If you see yourself as somebody, you know, I used to see myself also, by the way, as somebody that was lazy. I would literally like sit on a couch and one of the things I wanted, I'd be like wanting to manifest things and I would just be thinking about it, thinking about it, thinking about it, but I would never really back it up with action. And because of that, my life wasn't really moving very much. But then I realized that making those daily videos, having a 9-to-5 job, working 40 hours a week and making the daily videos on YouTube, being busy with both, it made me say, wow, I'm somebody that's very focused. Who else is doing this? There's not many people I know that are doing this kind of thing, like, you know, having this much willpower and this much focus in order to be successful. So even more so powerful than it bringing results, is it changed my self-image. I went from somebody that was like trying to manifest it just by thinking about it but not really doing it or following it up with physical action, which, yeah, and, and from that it changed my self-image. Then I was able to apply that towards other things because as I did that, then I was like, you know, I could apply this towards anything. So I could, instead of just making daily videos, I could do that towards learning marketing, learning how to spread my message in other ways. Other things I was passionate about, it changes everything. So the point of this video is money, love, and success is on the other side of doing something you may not be comfortable doing because your current habits are keeping you in your current reality. If you have a 9-to-5 job, if you have a certain story you're telling yourself, your reality is equal to that story and the habits are what wires in that identity. If you wanna change your life, become aware of your current identity, your current habits that you're doing, Become aware of them and then to start to do something every single day that over, over time will compound and change your identity. One thing every single day, that's all it takes is one thing. If you view yourself as out of shape and you were to start going to the gym every single day, even if you just go for 10 minutes a day, that will begin to change your self-image. You won't just be a guy or a girl going to the gym. You're going to be a gym goer. It changes the identity. And if it's met, if you see yourself as scatterbrained and you start to meditate, guess what? You're going to, you may start to see yourself as somebody that has this awareness, that has this presence, that has this, this, this more powerful energy. And you do that every single day. But here's the thing, there's a little bit of a mere delay. So you'll do it once or twice, 3 times, maybe a week. You might not get the greatest results. But if you remain consistent to it, that's— coughed— that's where the magic happens. The magic happens when you do it consistently and you decide this is who I am now. And real quick, I will share with you one of the easiest ways to understand how to make a habit easy or hard, and it's super easy. It is just between pain and pleasure. And pleasure. Pain and pleasure. Imagine this is a scale. Okay, so pain and pleasure. We will do everything we can to move away from pain, what we believe or what we define to be pain, and we will move every— we do everything we can to bring us towards pleasure. That's how we're already wired. If we go to the gym every day, we associate some type of pleasure with going to the gym. Maybe we actually enjoy going to the gym. I enjoy going to the gym, or maybe we associate the pleasure with how we look from going to the gym or from the pump that we get or from the, uh, the knowing and the security we get from going to the gym and how that makes us feel over time or how confident that comes from our, our body looks. If we don't go to the gym, we may associate a lot of pain with that. I got to drive to the gym. There's a lot of work. There's a lot of, uh, I may be sore the next day. Um, I'll feel weird when I'm there. People might judge me if I'm on the treadmill or whatever the story is. And then that's the thing. If you want to make anything easy for you to do, tip the scales in a different direction. Remember, this is what we believe brings us pleasure or pain. That's up to you what you define it to be. If you associate pain with staying the same, with you, if you associate pain, I was, I started to associate pain with taking Adderall because I saw the hard, the long-term negative side effects and I saw what it could do to people. And I saw that, I just knew that it was addictive and it was, it didn't have great results from it. I started to associate pain with it and then I started to associate pleasure with this vision of me being able to meditate or me being able to easily have my energy managed. Pleasure with being able to eat and sleep because of the side effects of the Adderall were that you didn't, it was harder to do those things. And as I started to think about it differently and then wired it in with that one habit, then it becomes easier. And you can do this with everything, by the way. You can do this with anything. You can change the way you view it. I used to think it was very hard for me to, like, in the beginning of me making daily videos on YouTube, but then I started to associate pain with staying at that 9-to-5 job, and I started to associate pleasure with making the YouTube videos. And of course I was passionate about it as well, but I actually started to enjoy the process more. So what do you define to be pleasurable and painful in your life? And if you want, you could switch it around and it'll change it. If it's unhealthy food, you eat unhealthy food, it's because you may be associating pleasure with eating the unhealthy food, the stimulation, the short-term effects that you— the short-term tasty effects of it. And you may be associating pain with eating healthy food because of how bland it tastes. Here's the thing. If you change these around and you start to associate pleasure with eating healthy food because of the way it's going to make you look, or the way it's going to make you feel and that new image of yourself, you'll start to enjoy it more. And if you associate pain with the deep fried foods by thinking of and associating, thinking of the pain of being heavier than you want to be, slower and a little bit more hazy than you normally are, that's how this changes is awareness. Literally write it out like this, pain and then pleasure, and then decide what the topic is. If it's food, And then right on each side, what you will start to associate pleasure with— eating nutrient-rich foods, eating foods that enliven my body, eating the right portions of food, or whatever it is, whether around food I feel, I feel satiated but not stuffed. And I associate pain with feeling overly stuffed. I associate pain with eating unhealthy food. As you do this exercise and then you start to wire it in every single day with that habit— could be the habit of eating healthy every day— it will change your identity. Then you won't be somebody that's just eating healthy food, or you won't be somebody that just has the habit of eating healthy food. You become somebody that's healthy. You see, one habit you do every single day will change your identity. If you want the habit of making more money, start to be more grateful for what you have. Start to do something that adds value to other people.
Go to the—
have one habit of once a week. If you hate your job, go to apply at a job that you don't think you're necessarily ready for, but that will start to change your identity to where you see you could do it. So this will branch you out of your current identity. So there's one habit a day that if you do will change your entire life.
What is that habit?
It depends on you and what you want to accomplish in your life. It will depend upon the person, but realize that when you change what you do and you do it consistently, it changes who you are. Just decide one habit you want to get rid of and then have one habit you want to be, and it can change everything about you. That's exactly what happened. With me doing daily videos on YouTube. That's exactly what happened with me learning meditation. That's exactly what you can do too.
This video will show you the most important habit for attracting more money in your life, and I'm going to show you how to apply that today so that you start to get the results that you want. Now in this video, I'm going to share with you a habit that I applied in my own life I first learned about it years ago from a book called Think and Grow Rich, and when I applied it, it was like within a day or two I started to get amazing results with it. It was something that if I would apply— I used to work a sales commission job, so I only got paid a percentage of what I sold, and I would see a direct correlation between when I applied this habit and the results that I got to when I didn't. So this is something that you can apply even if you're not in a sales commission job. You can apply this just in your daily life and what you are doing, whatever your job is or whatever you do for a living, and you'll find that if you do this, it will set you apart from everybody else in your field. It will raise you to a higher paradigm and people will also start to view you in a completely new way. Now, this habit is known as the habit of going the extra mile.
Now I know it sounds kind of cheesy, like going the extra mile.
But realize that we always get a reflection in our life of who we are being, and when we are putting more out into the world, when we are adding more value to the world, we will then receive that back to us. Think about this in the way that whatever we put out is what we get back. Now, the key to this is knowing that as we have that perspective and we start to apply that habit into our daily life, We are expanding our own perspective for who we are, and we are also subconsciously telling ourselves that our cup is already full. Think about it. When you have the abundant mindset and you're able to give to other people and even give them more than they are giving you, that tells your subconscious mind that you are already whole and complete. That allows you to be in a frame of abundance. And then you drop all perspectives of scarcity and you allow yourself to really accomplish and be who you prefer in your life. So I first off applied this when I was a sales commission person working at Nordstrom's, and what I noticed is that the days I would do it, and what I would do is I would simply, instead of viewing customers like, what can you give me? What kind of, you know, sale can I get out of you? I started to view them and look at them and think, how can I add value to you? Even if it's just in emotions, even if I just elevate your state of being of how you feel. And I also realized that most of what selling is, is getting people into a buying state to where they feel comfortable and they feel in a good mood. So what I would do is I would simply make them feel a certain way. And as I had the intention of elevating their own emotion state of being, as I had the intention of adding value, whether it was in the product I was selling, in the emotions, or in whatever, you know, whatever we were talking about. I would see that that kind of energy would come back at me tenfold. The days I did this were the days that I had the best days, and you can do it just in little ways, even if it's just something that you're doing when it comes to making someone feel a little bit better, maybe giving them a compliment, a genuine compliment, but putting more of the intention on what can you give out? Because as you start to put out more into the world, you're going to start to receive more. Now in the book Think and Grow Rich, He says one of the best ways to move up in the company you're working for or to find yourselves with new opportunities is to go the habit of the extra mile because when you do it, what you do is you take yourself out of competition. Nobody else is doing it and the only people that really do do it are the people that are already the best at what they do. So start to do that and start to see that then you stand out from everyone else. You are gonna be more likely to get a promotion. You're gonna be more likely to meet the right people of maybe starting your own business or maybe meeting the people that see that you're an example of going the extra mile and that you're adding so much value that they want you to work for their company. You see, you open up opportunities when you start to go the extra mile and you start to give more, and that's something that people can feel.
You know, a lot of times people, when they're watching my videos, they say that they can feel that my intentions are good.
I'm not just doing this to make money. I'm not doing this for any ulterior motive other than I want to add value. And a lot of people say they can feel that, and I believe that a lot of that's developed from going the extra mile. My intention is to give more than I get. My intention is to not hold any, you know, certain type of information and make it so that I only give that away, you know, under certain circumstances or I'm holding it because it only benefits me. I share with you guys everything that I think can add value because my intention and my perspective is that there is an enough to go around, that me sharing this is a part of my purpose, that I can give everything that I've got and that in exchange people see that people are able to connect to it in a powerful way. So ask yourself the question, how can you go the extra mile? How can you start to solve people's problems in a very powerful way? When you think about it from the perspective of business, the most successful companies are able to solve problems better than any other company. And that's why maybe you choose them. Maybe it has to do with their branding, how you connect to the brand like Apple or something like that. But whatever it is, realize it's about problem solving. It's about going the extra mile. It's about adding value. And as you start to have that perspective, everything will begin to change. You're going to be subconsciously telling yourself that you are already whole and complete, that you are already doing good, and then your energy becomes contagious. I can remember many times when I worked at that sales commission job years ago, and what I would do is when I was in that state of energy, that way of feeling, it was so contagious. It was like I would have customers already and customers would continue to come up to me needing help because I was in that abundant state, even though there might be 5 other salespeople standing around. It's a contagious energy.
People can feel it.
People can feel your intentions. And the best way to not compete with anybody else is to go the extra mile. So how can you apply this in your life? Just start asking yourself the question, how can I go above and beyond? How can I more than fill my present space? As you start to ask yourself the question, you'll find there's certain things that you can do. There's things that you can do that sets you apart, even if it's just an emotional thing. Just having what is called a PMA, a positive mental attitude. That's a quote from Think and Grow Rich, or, you know, that's what—
that's the phrase that they use.
But the idea is that have a positive mental attitude. Know that as you give more value to the world, you're going to receive more. And if you develop this habit, it will change just about everything about you. You will feel more abundant. You will feel whole and complete already, and other people will begin to feel that off of you.
Why would you even want to raise your vibration? And this esoteric term of raise your vibration, what does that even mean? Like Aaron shows that chart of consciousness all the time. And what does it mean? Why would you want to do it? Well, think of it like this. Your vibration, if you are at the level, let's, you know, you see shame, guilt, fear, anger, neutrality, willingness, acceptance, reasoning, and love. If we are in states and we have heavy energies within us of fear and anger, and we're mad at somebody else, well, guess what? We are going to experience a reality that is equal to that vibration. We're gonna find ourself around, attracted and attracting angry people into our lives, or we may get angry with other people. We feel fear, we may feel like we're in a little box, even though we wanna do something. I know when I first wanted to get on YouTube, I was afraid of what other people would think. I was in a fear mentality. But eventually, as you raise your vibration, you get more clarity, and then you start to realize that you can change yourself from the inside out by changing your beliefs about who you are, changing your identity, and that as you change that, you then change your reality. So think of this in a way like a vortex. When you go in this side of the vortex, you are one identity, you are one way. When you come out the other end of the vortex, you're a completely new high vibrational version of you that is free to be the way that you wanna be. And in this video, what I wanna do is I wanna show you step by step how to practically raise your vibration and change your identity from the inside out. Because realize that also all this reality is, when you look outside, when you look to the external mirror, like this mirror right here, looking at you in the mirror, this is just a reflection, that's it. So if I go to the reality and I believe that, like I used to have this belief where I would like hold myself back from really connecting deeply with women. Because many of you know my story of having the abusive ex-stepmom in my life. I developed a belief system that said that it's dangerous to be like, it means I'm gonna lose my freedom, lose my control. So that helped, that got me to where I couldn't really connect to women in a powerful way because of that belief. It was a one-on-one reflection. That's why one of the most powerful things you can do is become aware of these limiting stories. What is your story, which is reasoning, the reasoning, the reasoning of the mind. It's the stories we tell ourselves about who you are. What are the stories you have about love? What are the stories you have about money? What are the stories you have about who you are and what you can do for a living? And can you do your passion full-time? As you become aware of those, guess what?
You begin to take your power back. You can then do what you wanna do in life.
So how do you go through this powerful transformation? Well, I'm gonna share with you a couple things that really changes everything, okay? Now the first one, is neutrality. So you see, I've circled the two biggies. These are the two biggies over here, okay? So first off, we have neutrality. Shame, guilt, fear, and anger. These are all attachments to different positionalities, to different perspectives. I used to be angry at my ex-stepmom because of, even though she wasn't in my life after 17 years old, my dad divorced her, I still felt angry. I was angry that I went through all that. I didn't really have much of a childhood, and that was my perspective. But what I eventually learned is I changed the meaning.
Now look at this too.
The meaning, which is reasoning of what I was giving to my past, was making me feel like I was in a box. Fear, anger, shame, game, game. I was guilt and shame mixed, game. What happened was that was the perspective I had. What eventually changed is I realized that that led me to a spiritual awakening. Many of you listening to this, by the way, you've been through some stuff growing up. And what happened is that stuff led you to the pressure that caused a spiritual awakening. Now let me go over here. I'm gonna show you. Let's go over here. Are you guys ready? Okay, here we go. So this is, this right over here is Machu Picchu. But no, look, that right there, this thing right here, you guys have probably heard me talk about this before. It is literally like the most powerful thing that I've ever done is when I learned meditation. Basically, what I would do is I would just, you guys like that painting right over there as well? That painting, I forget what it's called. It's called like Blessing in the Sand or something like that. Yeah, I just love it. I love anything to do with Machu Picchu, I feel like, or not Machu Picchu but the Navajo. I think that's like the Hopi tribe or something. I don't know. Anyways, it's kind of, oh, I turned on the fan so I don't know if this is gonna go.
Okay, whatever.
You guys get the point, right?
It's just a candle flame.
Staring at this every single day for 5 or 10 minutes, what it does is it puts me into that vibration of 250, which is neutrality. Neutrality.
I learned how to observe my thoughts.
And the game changer was when I learned how to observe, because before that, guess what happened? I was trying to control my thoughts. I was a little control freak. I was like, oh, don't think bad thoughts, don't think bad thoughts. And then guess what? Those bad thoughts keep increasing. You're trying to control, it's resistance. Instead, one day I realized, oh, if I observe them and I let them be there, they begin to go away. And that's what I did. So that's something that really transformed my life was getting to neutrality and learning to observe my thoughts. So every single day what I do is I get up in the morning, okay? I get up, this is my bed. You guys like my bed? You guys like my bed? So what I do is I get up every morning and then what I do is I walk straight over here, take a little piss sometimes before, then I come over here and I meditate for 10 minutes, I observe my thoughts. Then what happens is anything that happens throughout my day, I'm able to observe what is happening, not react. That's the power. And when I'm in a neutral state, this is when you have power and you're not in reaction. Most people are in reaction mode. They're reacting to their environment. They're reacting, what? Oh, I just ascended. Whoa, what just happened? Am I, guys, did I just ascend? Is this gonna autofocus back? Okay. That was crazy. Anyways, okay, so this is, uh, so the practical way of raising your vibration is first off, you just gotta understand these two things. Now, willingness, this is willpower. This is like when you go to a Tony Robbins conference or something, you're like, yes, I will change my state. Yes, I will accomplish XYZ. Yes. And then you get like super motivated. Willpower, very powerful place. And when people get into personal development, That's a lot of times where they're at. They're like, I'm just reading all these books. I read Think and Grow Rich. I'm gonna manifest this. I'm gonna do that. It's great. Now the thing to become aware of is these different levels. So neutrality is when you learn how to observe your thoughts, very powerful level. Meditate every single day for 10 to 15 minutes. I promise you it will transform your life. Now what creates permanent transformation? It's not what you do once. It's not what you do twice. It's not even what you do 3 times. It's what you do consistently every single day and it's boring. I know no one wants to hear that. It's like, I want the quick fix, I want the 6-minute abs. But the key is making it more about a lifestyle. When I began to meditate every day, think about this, when people change their, it's when they change their identity. If somebody has never really done like a lot of fitness stuff and then they start going to Bikram yoga, one of the first things you do when you go to Bikram is that they tell you, the instructor tells you, if it's your first time, you gotta come at least for a week in order to get it, like the real benefits. And you go, oh, I gotta go for a week. After about a week, guess what? You start making friends. You go buy a $118 pair of Lululemons. And then what you do is you got your yoga mat in your car and then other people see you with your yoga mat and they're like, oh, good for you, Carl, you're going to yoga. And then you're like, yeah, I'm a yoga person. You changed your identity. And then guess what? You start to identify with that. And one of the strongest human desires there is is to remain consistent to the way we define ourself. So once we start to see ourselves as a yoga person, it's easy for us to keep doing it because it's not, we're not doing it to get somewhere else, we're doing it 'cause it's who we are. When I started meditating, I started seeing that I'm just this, I used to literally, people were at my job, I worked at Nordstrom's in women's shoes at the time. I went in for like normal and people were like, oh, there's Aaron. And then I met, I started meditating, my energy changed. I started becoming more grounded, more silence in between the words, more dramatic, like silence. It's just different. And what happened is it, that changed everything, what I did daily. So that's the first thing. So the first thing that I recommend you do to raise your vibration from the inside out permanently is meditate every single day for 10 to 15 minutes in the morning, 10 to 15 minutes at night. It changes everything, everything. I promise you, it changes everything if you do that. You don't wanna hear it, it's not the most sexy thing, but meditation is super, super powerful. I have a morning meditation on YouTube, I have a nighttime meditation on YouTube. Do those and watch how it changes your life. I promise you it will. It's just that in the first like 4 or 5 times, you may not enjoy doing it. Eventually you will love it. 'Cause you'll get to this spaciousness. You'll start to feel and observe and you'll feel this power coming back to you and it changes, it just changes everything. So meditation, that will change a lot. Then as you work up, you'll see reasoning. Now this is where reality becomes kind of a, becomes like super fun because the reasoning, the meaning you've given to things in your life, here's the crazy thing about reality. This is gonna blow your mind if this is the first time you heard it. Everything in life is completely neutral. This right over here, this crystal, it's a neutral thing. This neutral, neutral has no meaning other than the meaning we give it. Somebody may look at that and feel a lot of pain because they broke their leg on it once, or someone may look at that and be like, hey, that looks like fun. What is it? What it changes, the meaning this person has given it. Maybe it's a past memory that they're feeling trapped by, but the idea, everything is fundamentally neutral. If it were to rain today, it's a neutral idea. Zero built-in meaning, no built-in meaning. But the thing to remember about this is that we give it meaning. Now, the thing is we have these meanings that are on autopilot. We have meanings that say, oh, love is very hard to attract. We have meanings that say, one of the most common limiting story that almost everyone has on the planet, by the way, you guys wanna know what it is? Okay, and this is like my challenge I've been working in my own life. So I'm not saying this on the, I'm not the guru on the top of the hill that's like, look at all these unworthy, that it's unworthiness. We believe we're unworthy. Or do we feel like we're enough? We grow up in a society where we're given this, like, these models everywhere, and we're like, oh, I'm not as good as that person. And then we feel like we're not worthy. But the more we fill up our own cup and we don't seek validation, we don't seek people pleasing, we don't seek these things, and we seek it within and we give ourselves that love, that appreciation, the more that we begin to love ourselves, the more that other people love us. Because remember, all reality is a mirror. That's it. It is reflecting back to us what we believe to be true. So what I do is I go through my beliefs about love, my beliefs about money, my beliefs about success, my beliefs about health. And what I do is I challenge the old belief system. My old belief system about women that I realized was keeping me from getting real intimate in relationships is because of my ex-stepmom situation. I become aware and I challenge that. I started to feel myself as worthy. I gave myself almost the feminine nurturing that I think I craved growing up from having the abusive ex-stepmom. And as I did, I began to heal. So that is what raising vibration is about. It's actually super simple. I wanted to make this like a practical video that you guys could all apply. And the other thing I would say is if you do what you're passionate about every single day, what you love, and you start to do it on your terms, you realize in order for you to not have a boss, you have to be your own boss. You have to take initiative. Anybody of you can do that. 3 years ago, I had a 9-to-5 job selling women's shoes. I no longer do. Why? Because I dedicated myself to this vision and I dedicated myself to making videos every single day. Remember, it's what you do every single day that compounds over time. If you wanna change your life from the inside out, make a new choice about who you are and then as you do that thing every single day, your life will transform more than anything else. I made the choice to go daily on YouTube back in 2017. Within months, my whole entire life changed because I was doing what I was passionate about and I believed in the vision. I wasn't doing it to get out of the job. I was doing it 'cause it was who I really was, and then eventually my reality changed. Think about it in terms of who are you being in your current reality? And if you are being somebody that is equal to, the 9 to 5 job you have and that's all you're doing, then you're gonna continue to get that result. I had the 9 to 5 job and I was putting 20, 30, 40 hours a week into making videos. And guess what? One trumped the other one vibrationally and then I was able to get rid of the one I didn't like. Any one of you can do this. I promise you, you have to believe in yourself. That's it. You just have to let go of the belief that you can't do it and then do it and then realize you, as you go along the way, change the limiting stories. There'll be stories that come and say, oh, I can't do this. Oh, what if this person judges me? Or what if my family think?
And all this stuff.
Become aware of these reasoning, become aware of these stories. They're just stories. And then as you do what you're passionate about every day, you're up here and you're wiring in a new dominant vibration. And as you meditate every day, you're making sure that you're able to let go of the prior negative emotion. So it's letting go and wiring in, letting go and wire it in, letting go of the old, becoming aware of it and meditating and wiring in the new.
If you do what you've always done, then you will get what you've always got. That means that whatever we are consistently doing and who we are consistently being is going to be the reflection in our life of what we have. And once I became aware of this, I realized that the version of me that was working a 9-to-5 job was different than the version of me that was making YouTube videos online. And I think the one thing that I could have told my older self is that the key to this whole process is to simply start, start the process, start taking action, or start being the ideal version of you. When I was back in 2017 working that 9-to-5 job for months and months and months, I knew I wanted to be on YouTube, but I was worried about what people would think about me. I was focused on getting people's validation and, and wondering what my dad and my family members would think and friends would think about me making videos. And that held me back from actually stopping. The other thing was I actually got a camera that I could use, but then I didn't have the right editing software. I kept finding reasons as to why I should not start. And really what that was is it was a safety mechanism that was trying to keep me where I was. And once I became aware of that, I eventually made the choice that I'm simply going to start this process. And that's what changed everything. And when I look now and I, I think of my younger self and I think a lot of the people that follow the channel, I see that there's so many people with so many amazing gifts, but they're afraid to step into their power or they're afraid to step into the unknown. And the key though is to simply start the process. By starting, the momentum and the energy begins to move. And what happens is then we start to get a new reflection in our life. Yes, resistance will still come up, but part of this process is allowing the resistance to come up to then move through it. It's almost like we must show the universe that we are going to meet it halfway rather than trying to just have everything come towards us. And the one thing that really switches everything too is becoming aware of the story we are telling ourselves about where we are and why we must stay there. There's a subconscious story that we have around love. There's a subconscious story we have about money, about abundance, about our purpose, about our family. And this story locks us into a static reality that until we change that story, it will remain on autopilot. So in this video, I want to show you how to escape that story, how to change your life, how to really just start and how to move forward in your life in a completely new way that completely changes your life forever. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I want to show you that just starting is the key to you really shifting your reality in a powerful way and knowing that being a perfectionist and really setting really high standard is what's blocking you from just beginning the process and just beginning the process is the key to meeting the universe halfway. And a lot of times what happens is we stop ourselves because we are afraid of the unknown. And now remember the quote at the beginning of the video, if you do what you've always got, you'll get the results. If you do what you've always done, you'll get the results you've always got. This means that there's an autopilot timeline reality that just feels familiar. It just feels comfortable. And if we want to actually create change, We must break out of this box. We must in a way do something that this old identity would've never done. And sometimes that means taking radical action. Sometimes that means showing up in a new way and having the courage to step into a new version of yourself. We're in the middle right now of a 21-day Magnetic Love Challenge on YouTube. Not on YouTube, this 21-day Magnetic Love Challenge where for 21 days in a row I'm going live, coaching people, and every day at the end of the video, we get homework assignments to where we must go do something. And sometimes these are writing something down on a PDF or writing down, you know, and letting go of something or whatever it is. But recently we did something called an identity stretch experience. So it's where we get our identity of who we are and we do something our identity would've never done. This meant for some people, it meant going into a hardware store and dancing to music. And the idea is that by doing this and not caring what other people think, it can have this profound experience on our identity, on the way that we view ourselves, that then begins to change how we show up in the world. Because maybe for a long time we've lived really caring what other people thought. And when all of a sudden we start dancing or we start doing something in public that makes us look a little bit crazy, We didn't realize, wait, most people are focused on themselves anyways. And not only that, I just don't care what people think as much as I thought. Now, there were people that did this. Some people's identity shift experience was them going to and calling one of their family members, was calling their mom or their dad and saying, hey, mom, dad, can you please just tell me that you're proud of me? And demanding for them to, in a way, say something that maybe they've never said before. Or maybe it was them calling an old friend to talk to them about something that happened that they never really mentioned. For some people, it was a vulnerability challenge. Some people stepping out of the box, but we had thousands of people in this challenge doing these identity shift experiences and the results from it were profound. People started recognizing in their life where they're holding themselves back, but more so than that, people that used to consider themselves shy, people that used to, you know, view themselves as having intimacy issues, all of a sudden having these vulnerable talks, it shifted the way that they view themselves, and that then changed their reality. I know when I started on YouTube, I really cared and was really worried about making videos where people could hear me because I was living at my dad's house. I was actually living at my dad's house in the backyard making videos. Neighbors could hear what I was talking about. I'm talking about the law of attraction and these esoteric concepts, and I really cared. And then when I said, you know what, I'm gonna break through this fear. So what I did is I got a little, like, one of those selfie sticks. I put a phone on it, and I walked around in Las Vegas in Caesars Forum Shops and outside. I walked around filming a video. I did that because it broke me out of my fear of caring what people thought. All of a sudden, many hundreds of people are walking down the street seeing me talk on camera. It was no big deal. I realized that I didn't have to care so much. Then I started walking through Caesars Forum Shops. The interesting thing about this is it was quiet. I'm walking through this hallway and it's much more quiet than outside. People can then hear what I'm saying. What happened was I felt so free. And even a part of this identity shift thing I'm talking about, I went out with friends, we did a scavenger hunt where we each had like these embarrassing things to do in public. We did these and what happened is one of them is I had to convince two people in Natural Grocers in Sedona. I had to convince two people that I had a purple ferret that I lost and if they could help me find it. Did that and it was liberating. Afterwards, I felt so alive. It was also another one was I proposed to an artichoke in Whole Foods, gave it a long speech and then asked the artichoke to marry me. And there was like a big crowd of people like, what the hell's going on? What I realized though is it doesn't really matter what people think. This made me realize where in my life am I holding myself back and really caring what other people think? I did something my identity would've never done. And from that, it allowed me to show up in the world in a completely new place. What you'll find too is that the only fear that comes to doing something new is the thoughts about it. I was bringing people on, coaching people just 2 days ago when we were sharing the homework from the night before of this identity shift experience. It's the most intense thing to do in that 21-day challenge is like going out and doing something and posting about that, like doing something embarrassing and facing that fear. But people said, many people, multiple people said that the fear wasn't the actual thing itself, it was leading up to it. And I used to do forensics debate in high school. And I remember that anytime I would go to these debate tournaments, the only nervous part was right before you walked into the classroom to debate. There was like in classrooms, there were judges and stuff, but it was at these schools or on stage or whatever it is. Same with public speaking. When I'm on stage or I'm doing something or I'm in a live event, I'm not nervous while I'm doing it, but leading up to it, I'll start thinking about it. It works the same way. But one of the biggest things that will shift your life is when you do something that your old identity wouldn't have done because it was fearful. Fear is a mechanism that keeps you safe where you are. And what happens is once we become aware of that, how can we do something new? Because how we do one thing is how we do everything. So in that 21 Day Magnetic Love Challenge, these people are doing these amazing things that are shifting the way they view themselves. And then what happens is they're starting to show up in their life in a completely new way. For some of 'em, because it's the Magnetic Love Challenge, many of the people are single. So for one of 'em, initiation, initiating, going up to someone and asking for their number. That begins to shift the way they see. They now see themselves as an initiator. Do you see this changes the identity? When I started making daily videos on YouTube, it was because I knew that that would shift my identity. That would shift the way I saw myself. I went from like trying to manifest by thinking better thoughts and sitting on a couch. Nothing wrong with that, but for me, it just didn't work as well as me taking action and me being the version of me that I prefer to be. And here's the thing too, the guy that initiated, that used to say, I'm not an initiator, so my stretch experience or whatever they call that is to go out and to initiate. What happened is the first time he did it, he then took the identity with him. He is now an initiator. It's not like once he does it to 70 people, then he's the initiator. Once I started making videos on YouTube, I was a YouTuber. I am a YouTuber, I guess you could say. Now I'm actually shedding that identity. Shedding it because I see that it actually keeps me kind of stuck in my old reality. But the key to this is realizing that you can take on who you are being, decide this is who you are, that will change your life. Remember, we get in life a reflection of who we are being, not just what we think. 'Cause if what we want and what we think is the focus, we're taking it away from our whole energetic expression. Who are we being? Our thoughts, our emotions, our actions, are equal to the reality we're in. And sometimes the old identity that's on autopilot that feels safe, if you do something that version of you would've never done and you step into the unknown and you have courage, especially when it's tied to your passion, it changes everything. It takes courage to start. It takes courage to make videos and to not care what people think or to at least push through that fear. It takes courage to go up and ask that person out. It takes courage for you to go after that dream job whatever it is, it takes courage. But the moment you start stepping into the unknown like that is the moment that your reality begins to shift. You are meeting the universe halfway. So I would say that as well, when you have a divine intention with it, you want to maybe help other people or it's something you're actually passionate about, it comes to fruition much easier because it's a more inspired, it's more inspired. Inspired means in spirit. So me making videos was very conducive because I was having the intention to add value and help people. And you could do the same thing by starting. You don't need to be perfect.
You don't need to—
I didn't know editing when I started making YouTube videos. My first video ever says insert title here. You can go check it out on YouTube if you organize by date. Just to— that shows you, you don't need to have it perfect to start, but once you start, you start meeting the universe halfway. This video right here, this is one of the most powerful videos that I made and I highly recommend that you watch it because it'll help you with what you learned in this video.
These 7 habits made me a millionaire within 2 years, and I want to share you step by step how you can apply them in your own life today.
