The Missing Key to Attracting Your Dream Life: Creating Momentum and Patterns

Aaron Doughty argues that consistent action is what actually creates the life you want, not just positive thinking. He describes how daily content creation rewired his confidence and identity as a creator, turning the work automatic. Action and belief reinforce each other, he says, and modeling successful people can speed up the process.

Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video, I'll be sharing with you the missing key to creating what you want in your life. Now with this whole process and a lot of the fundamental principles of what I talk about on this channel are about understanding how our beliefs are creating what we experience. Experience, how who we are being in the present moment is getting back a certain reflection. And ultimately, more powerful than us attracting what we want is knowing that we will always attract a reflection of who we are being. Now, underneath who we are being is the beliefs we have about who we are. It is the self-image that we have and the action that we're taking. Now, just from personal experience, the one switch that I've made over the last 6 months that has changed absolutely everything about my my life has been taking massive action. Now, in order to explain this, I want to show understanding belief and then also knowing that part of the belief and part of the thoughts are the action that we are taking. Now, if you knew that in 6 months you could be where you want to be, be doing what you want to be doing, would you take massive action to get there? Now most likely you would say yes. Like if you knew that you could be living your dream life in 6 months and all you had to do was work at it hard every day, most people would say that they would do that. But the thing is, is because that is uncertain and we don't really know what's on the other side of that or if we are really going to get that, a lot of us don't take action to begin with. Now one of the most important things I've come to understand in my own life is that everything that we think is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Now what this What this means is that whatever perspective we are focused on, as we focus on it and we develop momentum for it, eventually that gets reflected back to us. So the idea is that if instead of focusing on a perspective that is limiting us, what we can learn to do is to focus on a perspective that puts us in the direction of where we want to go. Now with this, and some people get mad at me when I say that, you know, when it comes to the law of attraction. Some like the idea, and I'm not saying that this doesn't happen for people. Once again, if somebody believes that that's something they can do and not take action at all to create a business or to create something, that is dependent upon their own belief systems. Now, me personally, and just knowing how I work, I believe that action is a very important part of the process. And in a way, it's like the bridge between the thoughts, the etheric idea of thoughts, and making it something that's tangible. That's visceral, something that we can actually experience. So for me, I've come to understand that if I really believe that I can be like someone successful on YouTube, wouldn't I take massive action in order to do that? Wouldn't that be something that I put a lot of hours in? Now, the moment I simply decided that I was going to take action is when that momentum started to develop. Now, the reason this is so important and the missing link for so many people is because part of who we are our being is the action that we are taking. Now with the action we are taking comes a certain feeling, like as I'm right now doing this video, for example, I'm taking action and creating content for daily videos that I do. Now there's a certain feeling that I feel right now because I've done this so consistently and I've trained myself into getting into what is called a flow state that this constitutes and really adds to a part of who I am being. And this is the major thing that has changed everything about me because it's changed my work ethic. Now understand this as well. When we begin to take massive action, that changes our confidence because it changes the way we view ourselves. It changed the way I view myself. I went from somebody that was consuming so much information. I knew theories. I knew all this stuff that I could share, but I simply wasn't taking enough action in order to create it and to put it out there into the world. And the moment I made that change was the moment everything began to shift for me. So realize that when you start to take action, that will change the way you view yourself. Now, how could you apply this in your own life? Well, maybe you enjoy and your dream is to be a certain type of athletic person. You could do this by modeling somebody that's already doing something like that. And if you were to imagine somebody that has the same kind of skill that you want, you could begin to take action in a similar way by training a similar way that they are, by seeing their thought process and mirroring yours to that. And as you began to do that, you would start to view yourself in a similar way as somebody that does that for a living, that does that a majority of the day or a couple hours a day. and that begins to wire in a new level of self-confidence. Now the key to this is knowing that as you take action and you go in the direction that you want, with time that will change your self-image for the way you view yourself, and it will go on autopilot. These videos that I do, and for the first part of these videos as well, the last couple months, I do it working a full-time job of working 35 hours a week and all the other time I spent is pretty much creating videos, editing videos, researching, learning as much as I can to share this information. So the idea behind it is it's just a part of who I am. I spend all my time doing this because it's who I am and it doesn't take much effort besides the hard work and discipline because it's now a part of me. It's now become something on autopilot. So the thing I want to share with you and the thing that maybe you don't want to hear, but I promise you, if you start to take massive action, you will start to see better results. You will start to feel like you are embodying who you are meant to be, and that will change everything because a part of who you are being is the action you're taking. And remember, the action you're taking is synonymous with what you believe to be true. They influence each other. That's all I have for you guys today. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Feel free to like this video if you liked it. Subscribe if you haven't already. And as always, I will see you guys on the next vid. Peace, much love, namaste. Alright, bye.
